5. What type of dynamic do you see them having? Are they fluffy or steamy? Are they soulmates or doomed to fail?

They have the dynamic of two people who were destined to meet and be in each other's lives, despite any opposition. They were destined to work together, to be together, and no matter how much they might fight it, they will always end up back with the other. They love each other and will always stand up for one another, but that doesn't mean they never argue or have conflicts. They can be fluffy or steamy, but more importantly, they want to make each other happy and will act accordingly, within reason. But I don't personally see either of them as being particularly touchy-feely.

6. Which character developed feelings first? And is there a specific moment or way this could've happened?

Hmm... see, I always imagined that Swe would have developed feelings first, but now I am thinking that Fin would have developed feelings for Swe at first, but more akin to a one-sided feeling of infatuation/limerence stemming from an appreciation of him, despite his many flaws at the time. But also from Swe's side, I can see him having feelings for Fin for a long time and not doing anything with it - his infatuation would come and go, but his appreciation for Fin would always be there. I can also see him overlooking and ignoring Fin for a long time, until something just clicks and he's now in love.

If Swe developed feelings first, I imagine that this would've happened back in the Viking or Medieval ages: something about Fin's kindness, gentle nature, and desire to get along with everyone in peace touched Swe deeply. Especially because Swe was so angsty as a teen and he would fight with Den and Nor, there was something about Fin's qualities that really spoke to him and made him feel seen and loved. Because who was gentle with him before this? Who had the soul to see him as kind and grand, to cup his face in their hands, to tell him he's wanted and admired and appreciated? Was Fin feeding into Swe's ego, or just telling him something he longed to hear?

25. Try and think of either 3 silly or angsty headcanons for them as a couple? Depending on the dynamic of the ship, could be anything at all. If you cant think of 3, thats fine.

They have matching jewelry that they keep hidden and sometimes wear as a reminder of their connection. When they separated in 1809, both Fin and Swe tried to get rid of it for their own reasons. However, they just couldn't bring themselves to do that. Instead, they locked theirs away and brought them back out in modern times.

Swe likes to do woodworking, so he sometimes gifts Fin wood-carved things like bears and birds. He once tried to carve Fin a Sielulintu... but it turned out a little wonky.

Whenever they're at a big social event together, they have a secret language that they use for each other, like a look meaning "I'm tired, let's go home" or a finger to the temple meaning "I'm uncomfortable please help/help me get out of this conversation"

🤔 Are there any new characters you want to write about?

Yes!! The main ones right now are Edith and Samson from my Gothic Bluebeard retelling WIP! They're a controversial age gap couple and an artist obsessed with his muse and a journalist obsessed with her subject but also his more asexual tendencies lead to a lot of sexual frustration and there's also a creepy basement in his house high in the Swiss Alps that may or may not be filled with blood and morbid statues and they're always playing a game of obsession, desire, and worship and just augh!!!!! They're not romantic but they're romantic TO ME !!🥹

AHDHHSHD I'LL COPY PASTE MY REPLY TO THE OTHER ASK!!

hoo boy. so, there was a sort of ambitious au I tried to write once—have you heard of twin star exorcists? I'm an anime enthusiast of it since I got pretty frustrated with where the manga was going what with the constant delays and derailing from the main point and the author not staying consistent with details, etc. that being said the anime doesn't fill a lot of gaps that should have been filled.

so while I was still pretty active in the kpop circles—which I probably will go back to soon lol when I feel less icky about the people I was beefing with—I tried to write a TSE au. while it wasn't my brightest idea to transpose a bunch of Koreans onto a Japanese setting, I also underestimated how difficult it'd be to handle all those canon details.

plus, exorcism is very heavily based on Buddhism, specifically in Japan, so I was just like. well am I prepared to potentially insult an entire faith. (research goes a long way kids! don't listen to younger mari) and I just sort of...let it falter and it doesn't even exist in my wip folder anymore </3

(it also involves a forced arranged marriage and the topic of being forced to have a kid, essentially, and I didn't want to genderbend anyone for it, so my solution was a trans man who was at least somewhat interested in having kids biologically one day, like me. once again, I didn't feel I did a very good job of it, and it was a little daunting to write it knowing that i did want at least a semi explicit scene that, once again, reflected me as a person. being a minor at the time, I let the idea go. and I was also much less confrontational at the time so I didn't think I could handle it if anyone was being weird about it lmao—which I fully can and will at this point.

that being said, I did write a fic about a trans man having a kid for a different fandom earlier this year, so I'm linking it if you're interested! very fluffy and family fun. and not explicit. though be warned, it is rpf lol)

HOWEVER!! I've actually considered picking it up again and rebranding as a soukoku au? once again, enemies to lovers, my transchuu agenda, my dazai can be any gender agenda, EXORCIST PRODIGIES, one of the characters has no idea where they came from and has a whole Bit about questioning their humanity. i.e. arahabaki parallels. there are a few gaps I'm trying to work out but it's definitely an idea haha)

Oh my goood i never write about or draw christelle anymore thank you for making me think about her. In the good old days when she had a group of friends and someone she was in love with she might have been persuaded to join them in a night on the town! But she's very sheltered and inexperienced so any and all booze would go to her head verrry quickly. I think she could get quite rowdy!!!!

However this question also prompted me to spontaneously realise that she definitely had a parent who taught her to shoot and took her along on hunting trips. I think this would be closer to her own idea of fun than any kind of partying tbh

EXCELLENT QUESTION!! the florist cannot steal a name properly. when they try to steal a name, it either slips away from them and returns to its owner in a heartbeat, or they break it. breaking a name means that any control they have over the name’s original owner is either nonexistent or unstable.

for example — they stole olive’s name with the intention of trapping her in their flower shop for a day (as punishment for her being rude to them), but instead they got her stuck in their shop forever.

the florist returned olive’s name to her, but it is still broken. this worsens her previous health condition (anemia) and causes her headaches and dizzy spells. she is also still trapped in the shop. if the florist took olive’s name a second time, they could possibly free her from the shop, but they could also fail in the process (very likely) and hurt her even more. olive doesn’t trust them to handle her name ever again.

in the past, the florist has returned broken names to people and those people experienced symptoms ranging from temporary dizziness to complete memory loss. if the florist does not return someone’s broken name, that person must choose a different name (they can no longer go by their original name) and they will always feel a sense of hollowness.

the florist has kept several of the names they’ve broken, transformed into torn flowers and pressed between the pages of a journal in the back of their shop. they hope to learn how to repair them someday so they can return the fixed names, but they have lived a very long time, and most of the original name owners have already passed away over the years.

the florist’s original name was not simply stolen or broken; it was stolen and then consumed. the space within them that once held their name was damaged irreparably when their name was torn away from them. this is why they can only go by ‘the florist’ now. they physically cannot be called by any other name, whether by themself or by someone else.

Her human name is Aino, but before the name was popularized in the 19th century, some would refer to her as Aura, from the Aura river in Turku

She has had an ambivalent relationship to gender for most of her life and doesn't restrict herself to gender roles. Aino can go by she or they, whichever works

Aino owns many Marimekko products and prints and she SLAYS them

Like her male counterpart, she loves buckets. And like him, you also cannot have a free bucket

Aino has always been more chubby and muscular compared to the other nyo Nordics. While she is the shortest of the group, she has surprising strength, especially powerful legs

Her wardrobe is among the most colourful among the nyo Nordics, but she still enjoys her monochrome clothing. In clothing, she prefers comfort over style

She has dyed her hair multiple times and tried several different styles

While she does use makeup, she's not super proficient or adventurous with it

Nice and composed).

Riptide's readily in hand. If he had pulled that on any other god, they might've been offended, maybe snapped a finger and turned him into a pile of Percy Dust (which sounded suspiciously like Pixie Dust). Since this was Hermes, though, he'd have an easier time . . . presumably.

Regardless, he's already slackening out of a battle-tense stance, all the while trying to convince that organ in his chest to chill out before he keels over for reasons having nothing to do with an angry god. The tip of his blade droops, his gaze drifts from the offender for a moment while collecting himself, and at first, he snaps, “Can I help you?”

But maybe some part of him already knows. Maybe that part is just as much the culprit of his tight tone as his frazzled nerves. And maybe, whether it's that part or another one, he realizes he's being unfair—

“Sorry,” Percy mumbles, capping his weapon now that he's sure there's no threat. He looks back. “What's, um . . . ” What's up? doesn't seem entirely appropriate, either. “I'm gonna just go ahead and make a wild guess that you're here for a reason—?”
