aoife - I think she wants to find some purpose, I think she can't let go of the past very well so she's on a journey of self discovery and to find an answer regarding her placement in the world. she needs closure as well which is partly why she's moved away but she wants to face her past self also, and find meaning in the world she inhabits even if that means confronting the parts of her own personality that she find difficult or needs to work on / change 💕

jude - he's very young still so he's not thought too much about what will happen next!! Currently in my story with him, his friend Lyra is in some danger and he wants to help her, and he's even willing to risk his own life to do so 💗

cody - I WILL BE HONEST HERE and say he's a sim I used to showcase my friend's tattoos but I imagine he wants to be famous HA (I even make stories for random CAS sims pfft)

aoife & jude - funnily enough they both hate showing weakness, they dont like to let others see when they're unable to do something or failing (cough almost like they're somehow related maybe oops HELP but also early birds aoife isnt connected at all but my original oc aoife is his mother AHAHAHA) 💀🤞

I will say though that jude is worse 💗 that boy never accepts help!!!

aoife - she doesn't really care for material things all that much, but she likes things that she can use / eat / drink etc. that kind of thing but especially if it's something the person gets for her that they KNOW she will like hehe because then some thought has gone into it (shes rubbish at giving to others though)

jude - honestly he's happy with anything, people don't really get him gifts though, but he's also a very thoughtful gift giver and he is very generous!!! 💝🥺 like he always gives comics away to others if he's read them and stuff cux he likes to share his little hobbies with others

cody - I imagine cody loves getting clothes!! and I reckon he always asks someone what they want because he's useless at guessing so he prefers this method AHAHA

Yes!! The main ones right now are Edith and Samson from my Gothic Bluebeard retelling WIP! They're a controversial age gap couple and an artist obsessed with his muse and a journalist obsessed with her subject but also his more asexual tendencies lead to a lot of sexual frustration and there's also a creepy basement in his house high in the Swiss Alps that may or may not be filled with blood and morbid statues and they're always playing a game of obsession, desire, and worship and just augh!!!!! They're not romantic but they're romantic TO ME !!🥹

AHDHHSHD I'LL COPY PASTE MY REPLY TO THE OTHER ASK!!

hoo boy. so, there was a sort of ambitious au I tried to write once—have you heard of twin star exorcists? I'm an anime enthusiast of it since I got pretty frustrated with where the manga was going what with the constant delays and derailing from the main point and the author not staying consistent with details, etc. that being said the anime doesn't fill a lot of gaps that should have been filled.

so while I was still pretty active in the kpop circles—which I probably will go back to soon lol when I feel less icky about the people I was beefing with—I tried to write a TSE au. while it wasn't my brightest idea to transpose a bunch of Koreans onto a Japanese setting, I also underestimated how difficult it'd be to handle all those canon details.

plus, exorcism is very heavily based on Buddhism, specifically in Japan, so I was just like. well am I prepared to potentially insult an entire faith. (research goes a long way kids! don't listen to younger mari) and I just sort of...let it falter and it doesn't even exist in my wip folder anymore </3

(it also involves a forced arranged marriage and the topic of being forced to have a kid, essentially, and I didn't want to genderbend anyone for it, so my solution was a trans man who was at least somewhat interested in having kids biologically one day, like me. once again, I didn't feel I did a very good job of it, and it was a little daunting to write it knowing that i did want at least a semi explicit scene that, once again, reflected me as a person. being a minor at the time, I let the idea go. and I was also much less confrontational at the time so I didn't think I could handle it if anyone was being weird about it lmao—which I fully can and will at this point.

that being said, I did write a fic about a trans man having a kid for a different fandom earlier this year, so I'm linking it if you're interested! very fluffy and family fun. and not explicit. though be warned, it is rpf lol)

HOWEVER!! I've actually considered picking it up again and rebranding as a soukoku au? once again, enemies to lovers, my transchuu agenda, my dazai can be any gender agenda, EXORCIST PRODIGIES, one of the characters has no idea where they came from and has a whole Bit about questioning their humanity. i.e. arahabaki parallels. there are a few gaps I'm trying to work out but it's definitely an idea haha)

In fact, he's pretty sure he's hit some notes he assumed weren't even possible anymore, promptly after expelling a sound Percy was positive couldn't have been human (or demigod . . . more like the squawk of a seagull? Nice and composed).

Riptide's readily in hand. If he had pulled that on any other god, they might've been offended, maybe snapped a finger and turned him into a pile of Percy Dust (which sounded suspiciously like Pixie Dust). Since this was Hermes, though, he'd have an easier time . . . presumably.

Regardless, he's already slackening out of a battle-tense stance, all the while trying to convince that organ in his chest to chill out before he keels over for reasons having nothing to do with an angry god. The tip of his blade droops, his gaze drifts from the offender for a moment while collecting himself, and at first, he snaps, “Can I help you?”

But maybe some part of him already knows. Maybe that part is just as much the culprit of his tight tone as his frazzled nerves. And maybe, whether it's that part or another one, he realizes he's being unfair—

“Sorry,” Percy mumbles, capping his weapon now that he's sure there's no threat. He looks back. “What's, um . . . ” What's up? doesn't seem entirely appropriate, either. “I'm gonna just go ahead and make a wild guess that you're here for a reason—?”

She is around 21-22 years old during the events of the book (a baby :(.)

She feeds stray animals whenever she can.

She's a bit of a jealous person, but feels her jealousy is illogical and tries never to act on it. When Lucy got engaged to Arthur, despite how happy she was for them both, she got a bit sad and thought Lucy might tire of her once she was a married woman. She tried to hide her jealousy but it wasn't very hard for Lucy to suss out. Lucy had to gently remind her that she was already engaged to Jonathan. Mina was just like, “Yeah but that's Jonathan, he's one of us, he doesn't count.”

She, Jonathan and Lucy have all known each other their entire lives. As children they would all talk about getting married and Mina had a running joke of proposing to them both. But before she and Jonathan started courting in earnest, she secretly hoped he would marry Lucy because she couldn't imagine a lovelier couple.

She was very easily scared as a child but grew to love horror. Similarly, she cried often as a child but rarely does as an adult.

Elaborating on her OCD: she mainly has moral/scrupulosity obsessions but also has occasional episodes of distrusting her food, during which she sometimes spends several minutes inspecting each piece. This is especially the case after Dracula (not being able to taste or smell anything but rot doesn't help). Sometimes she worries that her food is contaminated with blood. For this reason, she prefers to make her own food.

Since she likes both fibercrafts and papercrafts, she really enjoys bookbinding. She also finds the process of gathering up a stack of information and binding it together satisfying on a conceptual level. She's probably made at least one fully bound copy of Dracula.

She likes rhythmic counting. She uses it as a calming technique.

She has relatively short hair (about shoulder length) because it was once cut off for purported health purposes (in the Victorian era this was a common treatment for brain fever among other things). She likes having it short.

She has creaky joints.

She enjoys really cursed food combinations that disturb the people around her. Again, especially true post Drac. I'm thinking instant ramen with chocolate syrup levels of cursed.

As a child she wanted to be a priest or an undertaker when she grew up.

Don't give her your pens and pencils if you don't like germs because they will end up in her mouth if she isn't paying attention.

Her hands are very sensitive after Dracula. She used to like when Jonathan squeezed her hands but after what happened she prefers to gently hold his hand or wrist. She often wears gloves.

She occasionally writes poetry. She especially likes sonnets.

She is not genuinely superstitious, but she, Lucy and Jonathan like to cycle through superstitions together to sort of test them out. They spend too much time in cemeteries to hold their breath the whole time, but they often hold it as they enter and leave so as not to spread the cemetery air. For a while they carried pigeon feathers because they were thought to hold off death. (This was generally thought to be a negative thing, prolonging the suffering of the dying, but they thought maybe they could “hack” the superstition and use it to their advantage.)

ok answering this with the ask because you're technically not being explicit and i cannot stop cackling at how, out of all of the ways to describe my recent post, this is the description it got.

the glowy eyes are less of an intentional detail and more a homage to how the game makes followers' eyes glow white when they're generating devotion. so in this case they're full of devotion for lamb, and narinder is able to see that through their eyes.

in contrast, lamb's eyes are...well. death isn't exactly known for giving.

the streamer au LMFAO (putting this under a cut bc it got. INSANELY long omfg)

normally i dont rlly like human aus (they’re just not my thing) but this stupid au wormed it’s way into my heart and now i cherish it lmfao. there’s no real set plot, there’s just Situations these lil guys get into. some are soft and adorable (ie. pebbles’ first kiss with sig) or hilarious (sig’s ridiculous amount of flirting with his own chat) or just fuckin stupid (their halloween stream where they do a whole production where chat has to figure out who “killed” sig and it’s just chaos). tbh ive found myself accidentally focusing on the ragequit aspect of the au despite the entire polycule being a thing (lilypad, sunstone, traffic light, ragequit, and hurricane all happen)

i think the Main Things that sum up the au are:

Sig punched Pebbles’ transphobic (now ex) boyfriend in the face and spent a night in jail bc of it LMFAO

Pebbles and Suns meet after Sig drags Pebbles to a party at the college he attends (and Sig attended for a single semester before the whole streamer thing took off). Suns went to catholic school and is incredibly repressed and hesitant with Pebbles and Sig ends up having to instigate a lot of shit to prevent them from just fuckin. never going past hand holding.

Speaking of, Pebbs is an art major and drew all of Sig’s custom emotes. He also loves drawing everyone in the apartment, though usually keeps those drawings hidden from everyone in his sketchbooks

Wind and Sig being childhood best friends who are each others ride or die, they were each others first like, everything. The funniest one being where Wind is having a crisis bc he thinks he might be gay and Sig is just like “hm well I’m kinda a guy maybe kiss me and see if you like it?” And well. Wind has been kissing this fool for 7 years now and does not plan on stopping.

Moon is usually a moderator but does make appearances occasionally and chat loves her. Suns will not go on camera without a face mask. Pebbles was originally camerashy but ends up being in pretty much every stream after a while.

Sig refuses to tell chat his gender and thinks it’s funny watching everyone guess. If you ask/ask for pronouns he just replies with “whatever’s funniest” or “whatever makes this gay”, or if someone’s being rude about it, “whatever pisses you off most”

Sig is like. Insanely good at FPS games and holds multiple top rankings in competitive esports. Yui (Unparalleled Innocence) is one of her main rivals. It’s cute tho. They’re like. rivals who kiss.

Pebbles is Moon’s adopted brother, and has some pretty bad weakness in his hands/legs bc he had cancer as a child. They all support him a lot (Pebbles is rlly stubborn about “being okay”) and Sig does a lot of charity streams for things like forgiving medical debt and cancer research. Sig and Moon bought a huge thing of stickers to help decorate Pebbles’ crutches so he’d like them more.

Pebbles’ name is Pebbles because Moon came up with it as a nickname when they were kids, and when Pebbles came out he chose that as his name. Moon cried about it. Also I just like the whole “transmasc w a silly name” thing bc I feel like it fits him.

Sig helps Pebbles dye his hair (emo mf) but requires that if he helps she gets to put streaks of color in his bangs. It’s usually pink but sometimes she chooses a different color. Sig has the underside of his hair dyed purple. Pebbles’ natural hair color is a pretty light brown.

They all have their cats ofc!! Messenger, Hunter, Arti, and Ruffles!! They were all either strays they found or adopted from a shelter.

That’s all I can think of rn! I wanna draw their designs eventually (and I have but I don’t rlly like them anymore bc OUGHHH I haven’t drawn people in for-goddamn-ever) but yeah!! Damn this got long LMFAO
