On Tuesday, the TTC’s Board of Commissioners voted in favour of banning e-bikes and other micromobility devices which use lithium-ion batteries during winter months over the fire risk. The board made the move despite acknowledging that it will disproportionately affect lower-income gig workers and enforcing the new rules will be difficult to do so. The decision means that all e-bikes and e-scooters will be banned from November 15 to April 15, effectively prohibiting the devices on board any TTC vehicle as of Tuesday.

good morning! period arrived this morning along with excruciating cramps (the body is a miracle isn’t it 🙄) but I’m just excited to be out of limbo and onto attempt 2. I’ve intricately planned my travel to maximize the number of times I can try this spring but there’s only a 4-6 day buffer for some months so I’m glad things weren’t too delayed. hope you are all really enjoying having intimate knowledge of my cycle lol. looks like my next attempt date will be sometime around feb 20-23 assuming the meds work again etc etc. technically I am in the clear to drink again but I’m kind of enjoying enforced sobriety especially now that I’ve discovered this delicious brand of non-alcoholic beer… turns out I didn’t need alcohol I just liked the feeling of having a Fancier Drink. so I think I’ll basically treat this whole TTC window (and hopefully the rest of the year if things work out) as dry 2023 lol.
my goals for this time around are to:
settle in for the long haul (ie plan for it to take 4-6 attempts instead of pinning my hopes on a single round)
assume that all early symptoms are med related not pregnancy related
don’t count the days—once the procedure is done try to just live my life instead of calendar marking and counting hours lol. I give myself permission to test early if I really can’t wait but need to remember that the trigger shot was in my system until day 9/10 so testing earlier than day 11/12 is just setting myself up for disappointment.
keep doing all the good things: not drinking, exercising 60-90 min/day, cooking healthy food and eating one zillion veggies, getting eight hours of sleep, taking my vitamins, getting lots of good social time with friends. etc etc. these things make me feel better in my body/spirit even as I deal with the bleh side effects of the meds.
ok ok. glad to get one more attempt in during my lucky year lol (33 on 3/3). onwards!

Damian: *watching Drake from the doorway* Ttc. *Is unsure how to care for others and show it. He needs Father to see and understand that he listened. He will get a good grade in family, which is normal to want and possible to achieve*
Tim: *warily eyeing Damian from his enforced bedrest* What are you doing here?
Damian: *narrows his eyes, brow furrowed in intense thoughts* ... *Drake is obviously the weakest of the family, and being injured just makes him weaker. He is more helpless than usual, and that is Damian's fault. Drake is also the smallest of his adopted brothers, (No, Damian doesn't count as smallest. He is not small. His bloodline ensures he will have a stature that is superior to his adopted brothers. Drake is unlikely to grow any further, therefore he is the smallest.)*
Tim: *slowly growing more tense and wary* ... Damian? *How close is the nearest thing he can use to block if the gremlin tries to attack him again?*
Damian: *brow furrows further, and suddenly clears* !! *Ah! Drake is smol and helpless. With his bed-head his hair even looks fluffier than usual. Damian has not had much opportunity to interact with smol, fluffy, helpless creatures; but he always wants to when he can steal a hidden moment. There is something warm and pleasing to petting a stray dog, or coaxing a mother cat to accept food in exchange for a few minutes playing with her kittens. Damian never has to struggle to care about smol, fluffy, helpless creatures.* Hm. *Damian straightens and leaves.*
Tim: ...okay then??
Damian: *He knows what to do now. To prove his care, he will ensure Drake heals from his wounds. He will be somewhat less helpless then, but he will still be smol and fluffy. (No, of course he's not feeling guilty at all. Guilt is beneath an al Ghul.) Taking care of Drake will show Father and Drake that he cares for family. And it will help him adjust to Drake no longer being a rival to remove. (Robin will still be his, he just has to prove himself to Father.). It will not be a hardship to care for smol and fluffy creatures such as Drake.* Ah, Pennyworth. I will be taking Drake his breakfast, as he is confined to his bed and would pathetically trip and fall on his face if he tried to attend meals.
Alfred: Ah. How good of you to offer, Master Damian. Master Timothy's tray is on the counter.
Damian: *nods firmly and moves to pick up the tray* Ttc. *pauses and picks up the cutlery knife before cutting up the quiche into easy to manage bites* ...mm. *Now he takes the tray*
Alfred: *hides the hint of his smile as he busies himself plating the rest of the family's breakfast*
AU where Damian feels really bad for hurting Tim but won't admit it out loud, so he goes into over protective mode.
... I made a part 2...
...Part 3...
EDIT: PROSHIPPERS GET OUT OF HERE YOU GOOFS
#dpxdc#batfam#batman#damian wayne#tim drake#alfred pennyworth#Damian has decided Tim is smol and fluffy and helpless#Tim just doesn't want to be stabbed again#Damian cares for smol and fluffy creatures#this includes Tim#Damian is processing how to care for family#Damian is going to get a good grade in family#timogachi

U.S.-EU Council: Future Tech Cooperation
Blinken and Vestager Lead 5th Trade and Technology Council Meeting
A Partnership with First Resort Secretary Antony J. Blinken warmly welcomed EU representatives, led by Executive Vice President Margrethe Vestager, to Washington for the fifth U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Ministerial Meeting. Highlighting the significance of the U.S.-EU partnership, Blinken emphasized it as a collaboration built on shared values, interests, and a thriving transatlantic economy. This meeting underscores a pivotal moment in reinforcing ties between the United States and the European Union, addressing global economic and technological challenges. Strengthening Economic and Technological Ties The TTC has proven to be an essential forum for enhancing transatlantic economic cooperation. Past meetings have yielded progress in aligning technology standards, fortifying supply chains, enforcing sanctions against Russia, and addressing non-market practices. The current session aims to further this trajectory, focusing on economic security, emerging technology, and cementing achievements before the upcoming capstone meeting in Belgium. Addressing Economic Security and Emerging Technologies A key agenda item is economic security, where both parties recognize the need to de-risk economies and diversify supply chains. This is especially pertinent in the face of authoritarian regimes that could exploit technology against democratic values. Another critical discussion point is the development of norms and standards for emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI). Both Blinken and Vestager expressed optimism about jointly establishing responsible rules for AI and other burgeoning tech fields, highlighting the importance of these efforts in shaping the daily lives of citizens on both sides of the Atlantic.
Building on a Foundation of Trust and Cooperation
Vestager reflected on the TTC's role in advancing the geopolitical agenda, noting its effectiveness in producing tangible results and fostering a deepened relationship. The established trust and collaboration between U.S. and EU teams have been instrumental in addressing challenges, such as sanctions against Russia and advancements in semiconductor technology. Looking forward, both leaders expressed enthusiasm for exploring quantum technology together, underscoring the council's role in bolstering economic security and technological innovation. Ok, here we go. Dark!Bianca idea. Shortly after the events in the desert, a severely injured Bianca is found by agents of the Titans who were shadowing the quest party off-page. She is brought back to Titan HQ and is convinced to join their crusade against the gods while her friends and family think she's dead. Jump ahead to BotL, instead of Kelli the Empousa, it is a mysterious masked assassin who attacks Percy and Rachel at Goode. The events mostly play out unchanged until Geryon's (1/8)
ranch, where instead of Bianca, it is the ghost of Maria di Angelo who is revealed to be sending Iris messages to Percy about Nico, while also strongly hinting that Bianca's still alive. Jump ahead to Mt St. Helens, Percy fights the assassin again, and during his stint on Ogygia, Percy begins to put two and two together after the assassin demonstrated skills similar to the Hunters. At Antaeus' Arena, the assassin is finally unmasked to reveal a still-alive but scarred Bianca, replacing (2/8)
Ethan Nakamura as the demigod enforcer. Percy is convinced that Bianca is being mind-controlled and goes to Mt Tam to rescue her as well as stop Kronos. However, when he confronts her, Bianca reveals that she's operating of her own free will, feeling vengeful against the gods for robbing her of her life and having pledged her loyalty to her new Titan master. Kronos intends to make Bianca the prophesy kid, promising her the free will she craves so badly as well as promising not to hurt (3/8)
Nico. Going into the Last Olympian, Percy and Nico are both determined to convince Bianca that she's making a mistake, and this time Nico's duplicity is not to simply learn about his mother but to try and summon her spirit to get through to Bianca. At the same time, Kronos gradually starts treating Bianca as less of an ally and more of a tool, and the Titans' actions cause her to have doubts even though she dosen't know what else to do. It all comes to a head in the final battle.(4/8)
Nico returns from the Underworld by himself early, giving Hades an ultimatum to come and fight or hide. Just before the final attack, Kronos sends Bianca to infiltrate Olympus to disable the magic defenses, but Nico arrives to intercept her and make one last bid to save her. They fight, with both begging the other to stand down even as they slug it out. Finally, just as Percy arrives to chase Kronos, the battered siblings' duel ends when Nico gives another ultimatum. He throws down his (5/8)
sword and gives Bianca, now reduced to fear and frustration-induced tears, the choice between perusing her grudge and allowing herself to continue being Kronos’s slave or doing the right thing. Finally able to make a legitimate choice of her own, Bianca chooses to turn her back on the Titans. She still ends up wounded, but unlike Ethan in canon, Nico manages to save his sister while Percy and Kronos have their final battle. After everything ends, Percy petitions for Bianca’s pardon along (6/8)
with the rest of his list, though Bianca turns it down, realizing the harm she almost caused to the person she loved more than anybody else. She is given a reduced sentence in service to her father, and though she does not properly forgive any of the gods that hurt her, she does recognize that the spite and anger she felt would only lead to more death. Nico gets to visit her occasionally, and she starts a road to redemption that Luke never got the chance to take. In HoO, Bianca is (7/8)
more of a background character, but it is she that finds Hazel in Asphodel and alerts Nico to her. Overall, dark!Bianca is an anti-villain who’s affiliation with Kronos is clearly drawn from her pain and grief over the gods’ interference in her life, but her saving grace is her brother. Nico manages to pull her out of the darkness and save her from becoming the same monster Luke became. What do you think? (bear in mind, this is my rough draft) (8/8)
Okay, WOW. Anon, I am actually going to start a petition to make you the new Percy Jackson author because that was such an interesting plot to read.
First of all, I love that you replaced Bianca with Ethan. As interesting as he was in the series, and as much as I loved his character, after reading through your rough draft, I feel like Bianca would have been a much better character to use throughout PJO. Her arc could have been expanded upon and completed thoroughly, and it could have made a lot of sense. Ethan felt more like a representation of "demigods turned to the other side," which I get is the point, but I loved the way you used Bianca because with your plot, her character could have been used so well to properly show how easily the Titan army manipulated kids.
Furthermore, I feel like your plot with Bianca could have been a much better way to use her character throughout the series. From my interpretation, in canon she seemed more like a stand-in tool just to enhance Nico's own character arc and his motives, but your plot for her would have actually given her some kind of foundation and an actual arc for her to go through. You've given her such an interesting character and I think it really provides more justice to what she could have been.
I also love the way that not only did you give her a better arc, but you also enhanced Nico's own arc and the plot, too. Her death in the books seemed more symbolic to him and a turning point in his character, but with her character in your AU, it's both important to Nico and Bianca. You've given her an actual character, and you've set up such an interesting conflict between Nico and Bianca.
Additionally, I love the divide you've created between them. I think that - based on what we know about her in the books - as much as she loves her brother, Bianca also feels very limited with him because of how she's been forced to grow up and be his savior. She understands that he's only a child, though, which I think could also play into her own hatred for the gods - they've not only destroyed her family, but now they're forcing her to take the role of an adult when she's a mere child, too? She was never angry at Nico - she was only ever mad with the gods.
Maybe that's something that Nico also feels bad about, and maybe he tells her about it when they're standing each other down. Maybe she lets him know that she never hated him or felt that he was bringing her down.
Also, I want to add that I adore the way you put them on opposite sides. It sets up such an interesting dynamic to their relationship because here you have two people who love each other so much, but they're on two different sides of a large war. They're both too stubborn to go onto each other's sides, and Nico knows Bianca's only going to get herself into more danger. I just love the potential that has for both of their characters.
I know Percy had a large fear about Nico being another kid to join Kronos' army, so I bet Bianca being on his team would have left Percy incredibly terrified for Nico, too, because he knew how much Nico loved Bianca. Would he have been nervous for Nico's ability to change his mind? Nico knows he'd never join Kronos, but would Percy have known?
And, knowing that Bianca's now on the Kronos side, how would Percy react? Because he felt pretty guilty about her death in TTC, right? Would he feel guilty that she's on the other side now, too? Would he try to reason with her, only to push her further away? I'd love to see how Percy would deal with knowing that Bianca - an important child of the Big Three - would react to her being there. He was already nervous about Nico joining sides, but having Bianca there would have really scared him.
And the part about Bianca finding Hazel instead of Nico? That was mind-blowing. I love everything about that situation because now that introduces Hazel into the narrative of Nico and Bianca's story. My question for you would be how does Hazel's character change now? How does she fit in with Nico and Bianca? Because in Heroes of Olympus she's clearly very insecure about her relationship with Nico and how he views her, but if she actually knew Bianca, how would she feel? Would she feel more left out (knowing that Bianca and Nico have known each other much longer and have a stronger connection with each other)? Would she be distrustful? And how would the three of them adapt to this additional family member? I have high hopes that by the end they would all love each other very much, but I'm just really curious into how Hazel's addition would influence the dynamic of all three.
And, essentially, it all ends into a somewhat win-win situation. Bianca's still living; Nico's got two new sisters; Hazel now has a new family.
I think this is such an interesting concept, and I'd love to read it. If you ever post it anywhere, please do share the link! This was such an intriguing plot to go through and, again, I think this could have been a much better use of Bianca's character.
Thank you so much for sharing it with me.

I got one guy on this bus to put his mask on because he was breathing right at me without one
Then I tried a lady sitting beside me but she claimed breathing issues so I was like, ok cool no biggie
Then like 6 more people got on, half without masks
I can't keep fighting this battle it is killer on my anxiety
Why aren't the bus drivers enforcing the supposed-to-still-be-active TTC mask mandate aaaaaaa
#mod post#now i can't travel safely#i am trying to get out and exercise more but too many people want me (or people like me) dead apparently#their personal comfort is more important than whether i fucking live or die#it's massively frustrating and insulting

they're probably referring to the interview from the latest copy of dwm, there's a recent post on r/gallifrey that wrote out the main points if you wanted to check it out yourself
Thank you! I just went through a read the summery (I don't go on Reddit really).
It looks like all he said was that he doesn't know where the Doctor is from now and he doesn't think anybody knows which is... fair I guess. I personally don't have a problem with the Doctor being literally born off-world (I think Chibnall's comment about his partial inspiration coming from being adopted himself actually re-enforces this point. It matters a lot more, imo, where the Doctor was raised versus where they were born, and the Doctor is culturally Gallifreyan regardless of their literal birthplace).
The sticking point with TTC for me has always been the detail that the Doctor is the source for regeneration. It always felt really cheap to me when imo there are more interesting explanations for it present in other parts of the DWEU (I personally favor the explanation that it comes from Time Lords genetically engineering themselves because I think it's very characterizing for them as a culture. There's an argument that experimenting on a child to gain that ability is equally characterizing, and I'd say that's fair, but it's personally not what I prefer). I know people take issue with the crit that it makes the Doctor "too special" but I have to say that yeah, I think for me it does, and we'll just have to agree to disagree.
Idk some of the posts just made it sound a little worse to me than it is. For better or worse, Chibbs wrapped up Tectun in Flux. I know he also said he's not elaborating on where the Fugitive Doctor falls in the timeline but eh, I'm glad he didn't confirm that she predates One.
If this is really all there is, the arc feels unfinished to me, but this era has never been my favorite and I wasn't expecting much more tbh.

Day 31: Your Toon/Toons
The grand finale! all of the toon oc’s i’ve made so far!!
Info about em all below the cut!
The Green ducko you see right there is Big N. Chunky, a duck with ominous abilities. And when i say ominous i mean it, she has the tendency to cause weird things to happen. Sometimes she vanishes out of thin air and other times she just appears right behind you like a horror jumpscare. She’s strange... but really chill so don’t fear her
Right on Chunky’s bottom right is Dr. Von Hulasong. A happy go lucky horse doctor who follows the quote: “Laughter is the best medicine” to literal means. He loves helping toons and on rare occasions cogs. He doesn’t like picking sides because he sees goodness in everything
That pirate cat right there is Pegleg Petra. She’s a fighter, a public enemy of Cog Nation, and a Robin Hood type of person. She used to be a sailor but after many unfortunate events including her boat getting robbed by Cogs and losing her leg and tail to them she became a pirate. Nowadays she wanders around Cog HQ’s stealing the gags back and helping Toons she can find.
The Silkie Chicken on the right most corner is Rob O. Tics. They’re an inventor who wants to help toonkind with their creations. They have a huge fascination with cogs and that’s because they were friends with Trolleybots. Unfortunately, their Trolleybot friend went missing on a mission on Lawbot HQ. Despite the unfortunate events in their life, they won’t let it stop them from reaching their goals.
The Albino bat is Carmilla Apple. She’s a storeowner/baker who lives on TTC. She just wants to chill and have fun but Cogs keep invading her store and handing her over to the VP. Even if this constantly irritates her, she wouldn’t let it stop her from helping Toons on their tasks or if they need her help on dire situations. That’s just a part of her optimistic and helpful nature.
That sly lookin fox is said to be named Felix Foulfellow. A self proclaimed “Son of Honest John” (although that’s probably a lie). Hailing from Doodlevania, he arrived on Toontown after an escape from law enforcement due to a scam gone wrong. Upon hearing that Toontown has a Cog problem, he tried to escape multiple times to not bear that responsibility. But he can’t, there’s something in him that just yells at him to help these poor folks on Toontown. So now he’s just a reluctant Toontown citizen and one of Cog nation’s public enemy.
The lil kiwi girl on the upper right or Felix is Kimmy The Kiwi. A young kid who wants to fight the cogs. Her family migrated from the outbacks to Toontown to help them out on their fight against Cog nation. Even though her parents bust cogs on a daily basis, they would never allow her to fight because it’s too dangerous. But that won’t stop her from trying to use a squirt flower on a lvl 10 Big Cheese on an invasion. She’s a lil confused but she got the spirit.
The last but definitely the least (in kindness) is this old school Toon named Sweetie N. Sour. She moved to Toontown on 1921 as a poor little orphan who needs a home. But when she began living there, Toons left and right got greened without any leads to who must’ve caused it. That was until Christmas where she was caught attempting to green Santa Claus. This sparked an outrage and a wild goose chase which ended with her standing on the frozen pond. Unfortunately, the ice was thin so she fell into it. After 90 spiteful years of being in the bottom of the ocean stuck in a block of ice, she was fished out and shocked at what Toontown has become. She absolutely hated it, she hates how happy and colorful it has become. Upon hearing about Cog Nation’s existence, she immediately went into Lawbot HQ and never came back. She loved it’s dullness and its lack of positivity. It reminds her of the good ol days when she greened toons. So she decided to dress up as a cog and continued on her greening spree.

Response from my Toronto City Councillor, Brad Bradford, re: Regis Korchinski-Paquet, police funding, anti-black racism and our shared future
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out about racism in our communities, police funding and our shared future. I've received thousands of messages every day this week. Our collective response to tragedy and injustice has been inspiring and humbling. The baseline for all of us right now is to speak up in solidarity and initiate the discussion in our community. As an elected representative, I have an additional responsibility to proactively make and support decisions that improve the circumstances of equity-seeking groups. I take this responsibility very seriously. As with most issues, I try to start with empathy for the people affected by this physical and emotional violence. I have been very clear publicly - the City's best approach is to address root-causes through anti-black racism efforts, anti-poverty initiatives and investing in community development.
This year's police budget did increase. I share your concerns about the speed at which police, and so many other services in our city, are addressing anti-black racism. Most of the 2020 budget increase was due to salaries and payroll expenses. The police invested in a better model of neighbourhood policing, adding 40 new neighbourhood community officers. Working closely with Division 55 Superintendent Stroble, we secured funds for four exceptional Neighbourhood Police Officers in our local Beaches-East York community. These officers took their new roles in Division 55 in February (see the launch here). More generally, across the Toronto Police, we added five net new Equity, Inclusion and Human Rights positions as well. There were also significant costs associated with implementing body-worn cameras incorporated in this year’s Police budget. A number of the other increased costs were associated with achieving the City’s Vision Zero road safety mandate, including creating the new vision zero road safety unit.
We certainly need to continue the work of reforming and modernizing our policing model. There have been countless reviews, inquiries, panels on police since long before I was a City Councillor. The City has an Anti-Black Racism Action Plan and we can’t be complacent about implementing that kind of change.
Solving these problems takes time and investment. In addition to advocacy, action is also critically important. Especially as an elected representative. Our respective roles as members of City Council are influenced by the committees to which we’re appointed. For example, while I am interested in seeing continued police reform, I am not a member of the Toronto Police Services Board so, like you, my abilities to influence are through dialogue.
There is an anti-racism, anti-oppression lens we can bring to all of our work as Councillors. Here’s an overview of some of the work I’ve been involved with and some of the perspective I try to bring. I share this as questions about my work have been coming up a lot in the last week. I want to share as much as possible to be transparent about my work, get your input and continue listening.
As Vice-Chair of the City's Budget Committee, I steered through $6million in additional funding for anti-violence programs and youth hubs. This is on top of $15.6million in net new funding for poverty reduction initiatives in the City's 2020 Budget. I also helped the City deliver the following actions:
· $11.9 billion for the TTC to address the state of good repair backlog and to buy 62 new subways for Line 2, 18 new subways for Line 1, 60 new streetcars, 1,500 new buses, and 232 new Wheel-Trans Vehicles. Investment in the bus network is particularly critical here as many of our city’s poorest community members rely on buses to get around.
· We fully funded our $24 billion Housing Plan 2020-2030 to build 40,000 new affordable rental units, and support 341,000 households with affordability.
· We invested $169 million for Vision Zero to make our streets safer and meet our goal of getting deaths and serious injuries on our roads down to zero. We know that road violence, and deaths and serious injury is more prevalent in the inner-suburbs.
As for other measures on allyship - there is never enough that could be done, but I am calling out the need for anti-racism training at every opportunity. On the Board of the TTC I have moved motions calling for a number of anti-racism measures including:
· Modernizing the TTC’s Fare Evasion Strategy & Transit Fare Enforcement Oversight to include anti-racism training.
· Making sure our revenue protection strategy responds to the ombudsman's report on fare enforcement and the incident we saw in 2018 with the use of violence against a black teen.
· Calling on the TTC to accelerate reporting on implementing a modernized investigation unit for customer complaints.
· Funding overdose prevention and response for frontline TTC staff.
There are a number of other equity-based issues I've been vocal on – including rent control on city-funded affordable housing sites, getting Council's support to urge the Province to maintain the definition of disability and avoid cuts to ODSP recipients, and including a Community Benefits Agreement into the market offering process for redevelopment of City property at the Danforth Garage.
None of these initiatives matter without real engagement with marginalized communities. This is critical to elevate the voices of people too often left out of the process at the City of Toronto. Within my office, listening is critical. I host town hall meetings and discussions with targeted stakeholder groups in communities across Beaches-East York. Just on Saturday I held a virtual town hall for the Bengali community with Mayor Tory and Councillor Crawford. I also engage regularly with countless others with equity-seeking groups, as well as youth groups, and advocacy organizations such as ACORN, Centre for Equity and Human Rights in Accommodation (CEHRA), TTC Riders, Social Planning Toronto, Maytree Institute and dozens of others.
We work hard to ensure these efforts are accessible, and take extra measures for our statutory city consultations - like community planning meetings - to make sure individuals have access to child care at a minimum to encourage engagement. We ask our community partners to share information about these meetings with their membership to broaden the reach to communities the City doesn’t typically engage. For example, we work closely with on-site teams at TCHC to post meeting invitations in lobbies, elevators, and on apartment doors. My bi-monthly community meetings also rotate around the ward in an effort to do everything possible to ensure geography is as little a barrier as possible.
As I said off the top, none of this will be enough until we bring a meaningful end to structural racism. We each have a role to play in that. As an elected representative, I am accountable to all residents in my community, but I hold myself to the highest accountability on issues of equity and inclusion. Being in this position is a privilege and my goal is always to advance policies that pragmatically, and meaningfully, move the agenda forward for our black, indigenous and other racialized communities.
In solidarity, and community.

[Crack] Open Starter:
He’s so sick of this shit. Day after day, living this lie. Pretending he isn’t enraged 24/7. Oh no, it isn’t the need for domination or destruction. It isn’t that at all. With the whitepoint star finally no longer an issue, the drums history, the Cybermen laid low and the master fresh from 70 months solid in the ttc locked up and therapies enforced ... Koschei finally lets it all out. Yes, he wants the Doctor to bring him back the very worst thing on the Starbucks menu. Yes, Earth is corrupting him. Yes, he will admit it. A quad shot of espresso, four of the quads all poured into one explosive glass. Yes. The fury at having to admit this. Because when Koschei is that hopped up on caffeine .... he’s just the *worst*.

Hello fellow 13/Clara shipper! We really need a club (there's not many of us...). Do you think, after TTC the Doctor would ever offer the regenerative part of her DNA to Clara so she doesn't die at Trap Street and they can go on travelling together forever?
Hey fellow rarepair shipper!
I mean, given that Gallifrey is now A Ruin™ I think it’s highly unlikely Clara will ever be required to go back to Trap Street as any and all enforcers (except the Doctor) are now Categorically Very Dead! So that’s something.
I also think that due to the trauma of being experimented on, the Doctor would be highly unwilling to give anyone her DNA; she’s seen the damage it can do, and I think it would really erode her sense of self. The guilt of not knowing she could do it with others (e.g. River, Bill) would also be quite high.

For years, the TTC has been quietly maintaining a database that includes thousands of records detailing personal information collected from transit riders who weren’t formally charged with any offence — records it keeps for 20 years and, at times, will share with police.
In the course of their daily duties, the agency’s fare inspectors and enforcement officers stop people on the transit system who, the TTC says, they believe have committed fare evasion or other offences. If the officers decide not to issue the person a ticket, they can record sensitive information such as the person’s name, address, driver’s licence number, physical appearance and race on “field information” cards, and then enter those details into a database that transit officers access daily but which most transit users aren’t even aware exists.
Data obtained by the Star through a freedom of information request shows that TTC officers filled out more than 40,000 of the cards between 2008 and the end of 2018. Once a rider’s information is in the system, the TTC says city bylaws dictate the agency must retain it for 20 years.
TTC officers recorded the race of the person they stopped on about three-quarters of the cards. An analysis of that information performed by the Star suggests a disproportionately high number of cards, 19.3 per cent, were filled out for interactions with Black people. Black residents make up about 8.9 per cent of Toronto’s population.
Civil rights experts say the practice sounds a lot like carding, the controversial tactic police have historically used to collect citizens’ personal information, and warn it could amount to racial profiling and a widespread invasion of privacy.
