"What're you getting all dressed up for?" Hazel asked, pointing at Wanda's shimmering, golden dress. She gasped in excitement and immediately provided an answer of her own, "Is it your anniversary?"

Wanda laughed as she clipped nicer earrings than her normal ones into place. "No, squirt. We're just getting our family photo taken." 

Now that Peri had graduated and Wanda and Cosmo were back from their vacation, it seemed like a good time to update their family photo — the last time they took one, Peri had still been a baby.

(There would be something missing from the photo, but Wanda couldn't stand to look at the old one for a day longer.)

"I'm just waiting on Cosmo to finish picking out a nice suit." Wanda glanced anxiously at her watch. "Ooh, I hope he isn't running behind..."

She was about to poof to their apartment to check on him, but before she could, Hazel said something that made Wanda freeze.

"So, should I put on something nicer for this family photo?" 

The grin on her face was infectious and her tone was clearly teasing, but there was a genuine glimmer of hope in Hazel's eyes that left Wanda feeling chilled to the bone.

once a year, i like to believe that miguel, gabriel and conchata make an ofrenda for dana d’angelo and her and miguel’s unborn kid. and dana and gabriella come back on dia de los muertos to comfort them.

i do like marastruck jy because most times hes such a sly mf (well more than canon lol) which is sooo my jam but i love them everywhere always!! especially when theyre suffering 😋😋 angst

the ipc fic was sooo >,< even when they're more free and so so sweet theres still Shit there (or maybe its just me hyperfocusing on angst 🤭) but they care about each other so much

and i can just imagine Neyo ending up classified as morbid and cold because he realized as a child how grim this entire cursed fucking existence -is- sooner than anybody else did and that's why he didn't "connect", he -made- that decision, but he still yearned for companionship, so he had a lil droid, that he could talk to on long scouting missions about anything and everything, fostering WAC's intelligence and having this understanding that despite one being "living" and the other being "machine", they're both in this shitty impossible situation that there's no getting out of

a small inkling of humanity held onto through keeping WAC around
