i just...
i think a lot about Neyo being described as "morbid and cold"
but then having a lil droid buddee
a droid buddee, that absolutely learned behaviors from hanging out with him, to the point WAC does the whole Commander schtick, and having a -cutting- wit, and willingness to call out bullshit when they sees it, only giving respect when earned especially to those who immediately deny personhood to them
and i can just imagine Neyo ending up classified as morbid and cold because he realized as a child how grim this entire cursed fucking existence -is- sooner than anybody else did and that's why he didn't "connect", he -made- that decision, but he still yearned for companionship, so he had a lil droid, that he could talk to on long scouting missions about anything and everything, fostering WAC's intelligence and having this understanding that despite one being "living" and the other being "machine", they're both in this shitty impossible situation that there's no getting out of
a small inkling of humanity held onto through keeping WAC around
and how it must have fuckin' sucked to give them up, but he respects Windu, so whatever task WAC was gonna do it was important
anyway miss me with characterizing Neyo as a cold hearted murderer psycho, or some abusive dude, normalize that he's a hard introvert with a cat who's been disassociating since he was four

Currently reading a lot of Coruscant Guard fics
What if upon receiving info about their assigned positions the whole command batch came up with a strategy of regularly switching posts to be on Coruscant.
Initially it's to provide cover for the expected medical emergencies (because Coruscant is safe) or if they'll be in need of different talents for specific long-term missions. Cause even after receiving the same standard training, all of them have specialized in different areas. Not enough to be noticed by outsiders since the batchers know how to secretly provide info and apply eachother's shared knowledge immediately.
Of course it doesn't work out because:
- Some Jedi unexpectedly pay way more attention to their commanders and men. General Kenobi spots Cody in the mess and goes to sit at the same table. Even when the clones switch around he recognizes everyone instantly, so Cody is staying on The Negotiator permanently. One of the best things coming out of this is the opportunity to meet up with Captain Rex and the 501st
- Wolffe sustains an injury that they won't be able to cover like they usually do with other tattoos or scars and after losing almost all of the 104th decides to stay and rebuild his battalion with a very protective General Koon
- Ponds suddenly finds himself taking responsibility for the most feral kid in the galaxy. He sometimes wonders if Boba distracting Sing before she could actually shoot him was an elaborate ploy to get a better chance to kill General Windu himself or if the boy actually cared about his not-brothers (Boba cares a lot)
- Bly cannot for the life of him stand motionless during another debate in the Senate without going crazy cause he just cares too much about every honest voice being silenced by corruption and greed. His general also seems to watch him closer than others do and he takes the chance to try to learn more about the war efforts from the perspective of the Jedi
- Bacara, Monnk, Gree and Neyo are on missions taking them to the other side of the galaxy, so far away that they barely make it back to Coruscant. They can't even enter the batchers' secret communication channels most of the times
- Which leaves Fox to become the "permanent" Marshall Commander of the Corries. He guesses it's only fair because more than half of the awards and decorations on the wall of the office were rewarded for his actions. The other half are mostly thanks to Thorn and Bacara being reckless but highly competent idiots
- Thire, Stone and Thorn joke they got stuck with the most uptight of the batch but later realize that Fox strict approach is keeping their men relatively safe. Cause Fox realized very quickly that Coruscant is in fact not safe
- Everyone else takes a whole lot longer to catch on to the not so subtle dangers stretching their claws from the very inside of the Republic's heart, especially with the Guard starting to drift apart from the GAR silently. It takes the CMOs meeting and drinking too much moonshine to finally connect the dots of why the communication lines went mostly dead.
- Cody immediately starts strategizing for escape scenarios and researches uninhabited planets. He needs to survive any possible scenario so he can reunite his brothers. His general notices. Rex does as well
- Wolffe is furious and the wolfpack starts finishing their rescue missions in record time to get to the homefront as quickly as possible. He stops drinking alone like he sometimes did and starts accompanying all of his actions with softer words than usual. His general notices
- Ponds is shocked and starts taking to the shinies more. He also asks Boba about his point of view cause the boy definitely notices things a grown man doesn't. He starts sending regular updates about the developments of the general public's moods and tries to find ways to engage in a positive way with the natborns to bring attention to the men fighting a war for them. His general notices
- Bly is sad and starts reading up on all political and especially civil rights debates he can get his hands on. His general notices and asks her master if he has more intel on current developments in all parts of the galaxy. General Vos hasn't been on Coruscant since the start of the second year of war but draws the conclusion he should dig deeper into the Heart of the Republic
- Bacara is seething and keeps perfecting his already optimized battle plans. The marines train to annihilate droids by hand. He also keeps stocking up on medical equipment. His general doesn't notice
- Neyo doesn't acknowledge feeling anything. He starts tinkering again. He's looking for ways to design communication and transportation devices from all the droid scrap they usually leave behind on the battlefield. He even learns Jawaese. His general doesn't notice
- Monnk and Gree are determined. They comm eachother and start researching on how to survive long term in unknown environments and writing guides on how to identify edibles plants, safe water supplies, how to test for breathable atmosphere and which species like to live in symbiotic or peaceful ways with humanoids. They mask it as personal interest. Their generals notice
- Fox is panicking. He needs to find a new way to keep Hound from being decommissioned for Grizzer peeing in front of a senator's door the second after a natborn noticed their carefully crafted loop hole to switch designations of fallen brothers for the ones they could still save in the official documentation the Guard issues. He hasn't slept or eaten in two days as his comm blinks with the notification of a General striding through the Guard's front door like he belonged among the Corries. He has no time to deal with whatever the Jedi want from them but Thire is already on the brink of breaking down scanning data pads for a new loop hole so he grabs his helmet and runs to stop the force user from asking his questions at the wrong time. Not-his general notices
No idea for an actual plot. Just wanted to think about some hurt/comfort and competent clone commanders being brothers before being soldiers

“Commander, we’ve lost contact with CT-2639 on the eastern perimeter.”
Marshal Commander Neyo swiveled his head, pulling away from your hands as you cleaned the cut on his forehead. Head wounds always bled like a mudscuffer, and this one had made an unbelievable mess, but it wasn’t severe enough to be life-threatening. You silently followed his movement, continuing to work as Neyo replied to the trooper.
“Send a BARC trooper to reinforce his position,” Neyo snapped, clearly irritated that the situation had not already been handled several rungs down the command ladder.
“They’re all out on scouting missions, sir,” the trooper said nervously.
Neyo nodded shortly, then turned back to you. “You, medic. Grab a medkit. You’re coming with me.”
It galled you slightly that he hadn’t bothered to learn your name, even though he had refused to allow any of the other medics in the 91st treat him since the first time you’d patched him up months ago, but given that he was one of the highest-ranking clones in the GAR, you weren’t about to call him out.
“Yes, sir,” you replied, quickly sealing the laceration with a spray bandage. Luckily, you were nearly finished treating him before the trooper had interrupted; otherwise, you had no doubt the commander would have simply shoved his bucket back onto his bloody head and jumped on a BARC speeder.
You shrugged the heavy medpack onto your back and followed Neyo to a BARC speeder with an auxiliary stretcher, watching him nervously, dread swirling in your gut.
“Well?” he asked, his tone clipped and impatient.
“I’m not speeder trained, sir. Sorry, sir,” you admitted, hoping that he wouldn’t reassign you to a different unit as he tended to do when his subordinates weren’t up to his frankly unrealistic standards.
His sigh was audible through his helmet’s speaker. “Climb on the back.”
“Sir?” you asked, startled. It was going to be one hell of a tight fit on a speeder designed for one.
“Secure the medpack to the bike and get the kriff on,” he growled. “We don’t have all day.”
“Yes, sir,” you said, snapping rigidly to attention.
You squeezed in behind him, trying very hard not to think about the way his hips pressed your thighs open, or the way his strong back felt against your chest as you wrapped your arms around him and hung on for dear life. The BARC speeder was unbelievably fast, and the landscape whizzed by in a dizzying blur as Neyo expertly navigated to CT-2639’s last known position. The bike turned abruptly, and you unconsciously tightened your arms harder around his torso. He dropped his hand briefly from the controls and settled it over yours, adjusting your position so you gripped his belt instead of the slick plastoid of his chestplate, then raised it back to the handlebar.
The bike slowed as you approached your destination, sweeping the terrain for any sign of the missing sentry. A flash of white and red plastoid at the bottom of a ravine drew Neyo’s eye.
“There.”
The speeder came to a halt, and you jumped off, grabbing the medpack and running to the downed trooper. He was unconscious, but his vitals were strong enough—for the moment—and Neyo helped you stabilize his spine as you carefully transferred and secured the patient to the stretcher on the side of the BARC.
“Bike isn’t powerful enough to carry three,” Neyo said as he mounted the speeder.
You nodded in understanding. “Yes, sir. I’ll make my way back on foot. He needs more care than I can give him here, and the base medics are equipped for it.”
“Negative. Hold position here. I’ll send someone to extract you.”
“Yes, sir.” You hesitated, and Neyo looked up at you, his helmet blocking his expression—not that you’d ever been particularly good at reading the commander’s cold, hard eyes. “What’s his name?”
Neyo was silent for a beat. “Boey.” His helmet tilted as he surveyed you from head to toe, as if suddenly realizing he was about to ditch you in an active war zone without armor or weapons. He handed you his DC-15 and climbed back onto the speeder. “Try not to get killed.”
Luckily, no battle droids appeared to ruin your day. You didn’t have to wait long before you heard the whine of a speeder approaching your position, but you were surprised to see not one, but two BARCs appear, and one of them was the commander himself. He drew to a halt, and you immediately surrendered the blaster to him. The other trooper looked back and forth between you and Neyo, but stayed silent.
“Boey?” you asked.
“He’ll make it,” Neyo replied, sliding forward to make space for you. “Get on.”
You obeyed, feeling very thankful that it was a short trip to the base as you once again straddled Neyo’s hips and tried to think unsexy thoughts.
For kriff’s sake, he doesn’t even know my name. He’s kind of a dick. Why am I like this? Maybe when he reassigns me for not having achieved every single karking qualification in the GAR, I’ll end up in the 212th—if I’m going to have an unprofessional and inappropriate crush on a superior officer, Commander Cody seems like a nice, safe choice. Why do I always seem to go for the dicks? Some mysteries may never be solved.
Neyo started up the speeder and took off at top speed, leaving the other BARC trooper behind to secure the position. Unfortunately for your sanity, it seemed that Neyo had decided to inspect the entire perimeter, because there was no sign of the base anywhere, and the ride seemed interminable. As you gradually became accustomed to the speed of the bike, you tore your eyes away from the center of his back and began to look around at the landscape as you hurtled through the air.
It was actually a beautiful planet, when there wasn’t an active battle going on. Neyo drew the bike to a halt at the edge of a cliff with a stunning view out over the lush forest. He pulled off his helmet and set it on the bike, then dismounted, holding out his hand to assist you off the speeder.
When you met his eyes, they were as hard, cold, and unreadable as ever, and you couldn’t help wondering if he’d decided to just dropkick you off the cliff instead of bothering with the hassle of reassignment paperwork. Well, if this view was the last thing you ever saw, you couldn’t deny that it was breathtaking.
“What is this place?” you asked, unable to keep the awe out of your voice.
“Western perimeter. Cliff provides a natural defense.”
You looked down over the cliff and immediately regretted your decision, feeling dizzy and lightheaded at the distance to the bottom. You swayed dangerously, and Neyo grabbed you by the waist and pulled you back from the edge, your back colliding with his armored chest.
“Damn, that’s a… hell of a drop,” you managed to say.
“Mm-hmm,” he agreed, his voice low and close to your ear.
You couldn’t resist asking, “Is this where you dispose of medics who don’t know how to ride speeders?”
“What?” You felt his head turn as he observed you closely. “Why the kriff would I expect a medic to be BARC speeder certified? Do you know how much training BARC troopers have?”
You cleared your throat, trying not to dwell on how very, very close he was; or the deep, quiet rumble of his voice next to your ear; or the way his hands still rested on your waist. “So… you’re not going to reassign me?”
“I should,” he said quietly.
Your heart plummeted and your stomach twisted. You stared down at the ground in front of you, desperately trying to hide your embarrassment and disappointment.
One of his hands slid forward, flattening over your belly and pulling your body back against him. You felt the rough fabric of his glove move softly across your jaw as he tilted your face toward him with his other hand. His thumb brushed your lips, and then his hand drifted down to rest at the base of your throat, your pulse racing wildly beneath the gentle pressure.
“I shouldn’t—” His lips were so close to yours that you felt his breath ghost over your skin as he spoke. “—with a subordinate…”
You couldn’t tear your gaze away from his mouth. It was all you could see as you whispered, “You’re a marshal commander. Everyone is your subordinate.”
He drew a shallow breath, but made no move to close the tiny distance between you. The moment stretched out unbearably, until at last you could no longer resist the temptation. The tip of your tongue barely grazed the corner of his mouth before he snapped, crashing his lips into yours, clutching your body against his as though, if he only held you tightly enough, he could feel your warmth through the cold, unyielding plastoid of his armor. He kissed you with a passion that left you breathless and reeling, and when at last his lips parted from yours, he nuzzled your face gently as he whispered your name.
“Wait…” you breathed. “You know my name?”
For the first time since you’d met him, Neyo smiled. “I’ve always known.”

-jobs I think some clones would have in a post-war “clones are legally seen as people” universe-
Cody: plant + animal farmer. sees it as both a new experience/challenge (land, terrestrial plants and animals) but also slightly similar to what he was used to as a marshal commander. likes the hard work & care required for this lifestyle but cares more about the payoff of it all. will underestimate mint at some point.
Rex: fisherman of some kind. i don’t really have a reason for this, it just seems very likely to me. probably enjoys the peace and solitude it can bring after years of being in the situations he’s been in, but likes the learning aspect and self-sufficient parts of knowing how to fish. could also like the thrill of wrestling large fish that have bodycounts and going to competitions about it, maybe all of these options at once. possibly worries a lot about everyone else and is always sending them photos of him fishing so they respond with their own thing.
Fox: nice try. stays unemployed in a comfortable cabin in some isolated town and loves it. if he needs money, he’ll cash in on favors or do small favors for his brothers.
Wolffe: also tempted to stay unemployed, but gets restless + depressed, becomes a woodworker. doesn’t care about it at first since it’s just a way to get money and stay busy, but develops a liking towards the methodical work and the feeling of creating something very meaningful and/or beautiful with his own hands. ends up liking to create furniture for his brothers getting settled down as a hobby, but creates gothic decorations to sell as his main thing. possibly gets less depressed.
Bly: security guard, would quit, then become a geologist. liked how similar being a security guard was to being a marshal commander at times, but overall hated being reminded of how a lot of people saw/see clones. found more peace in geology bc of how delicate/patient/focused he had to be (helps reinforce his belief that he’s not a violent machine capable of nothing else), also loves learning and sharing knowledge in general. doesn’t really like working with other geologists, tends to not communicate being angry since he’s used to shutting up to get a job done. but he’s dealing. sort of.
Doom: would probably also be unemployed but because he keeps quitting any job after about a month. just can’t find anything that calls to him or keeps him happy, but knows his end goal is to have a life involving lots of plants. doesn’t enjoy being unemployed because he tends to see it as a personal failing on his part, ends up very stressed. Wolffe tries to give advice on just jumping right into plant stuff and making money off it, but Doom is hesitant to make something he loves into a job he might end up hating and quitting again.
Bacara: part-time piercer, part-time bounty hunter. likes to call them both his “piercing jobs” to the discomfort of nearly everyone else. prefers bounty hunting since he thinks it’s more necessary + familiar, but would give it up first if he was forced to only choose one (more stable pay + might live longer). backup plan is to fake his death (unnecessary & regardless of situation) and become a librarian or historian with a fake accent. sort of a nerd anyway, so this isn’t the end of the world for him, and likes how he can get away with dissociating more than he used to.
Neyo: surprisingly, professional racer. refuses to explain how he got this idea, his motives, and where the next event will be, but likes it when his brothers somehow show up. loves the exhilaration, risk (huge adrenaline junkie) and how his outfit looks. also likes the bragging rights. backup plan is to fake his death (again, unnecessary & regardless of situation) and secretly live with Bacara, becoming a chef because he likes working with knives + feeding hungry people fulfills his desire to be useful in some way. has yet to tell Bacara any of this, actually finds not saying anything about it really funny.

Navy Seals train for about 2 1/2 years. Clone troopers train their whole lives, and say if they start physical training at 7/14 that’s 3 years.
What I’m saying is we should take the competence of any trooper and multiply it by at least five.
Even the most standard trooper is equal to any elite operative. I’m talking about Captain America and Winter Soldier rolled into one. They’re so accurate it’s terrifying. They can sprint like it’s the Olympics and barely be winded. They can and do tear droids apart with their bare hands. For fun.
ARC troopers? One man army, able to keep up with the Jedi. The Padawans all check and double check if they have the Force because they can’t even do that. When all is lost send in an ARC and they will win 1000:1 odds. The originals have to be kept in storage because the Kaminoans look at them and remember what fear feels like. They can take any weapon and find a way to level a city with it. The only limit an ARC has is numbers.
And Marshall Commanders. Legends. Death. Fox’s armor is red with blood mixed with the sand of the Geonosis and painted with a promise of vengeance. Cody’s armor is the rising sun of his victory, glorious and inevitable. If Neyo knows someones name, he also knows what they’re going to eat tommorow. They say Bacara simply can’t be killed.
Anyways. Just. Any and all the clone troopers pushing every limit.

Hello! May I please have a Ruby for Commander Blackout or Neyo (whomever's the grumpiest lol) x female reader scenario set in Winter where he keeps hearing about her from a lot of the the shinnies and his vod gushing about how lovely and wonderful she is and it pisses him off for some reason/or he just gets sick of hearing it; until he meets her himself and then he realizes immediately what they mean and finds himself swiftly falling deeply and passionately in love with her because there's just something so bright, warm and alluring about her and he just wants her for himself. Feel free to either make it steamy/smutty or not. I'm just happy with him being super passionate with his attraction and pursuit of her and she reciprocates? And maybe they kiss? But just go with whatever inspires you the most; I know it's gonna be great whatever it is! Please and thank either way! \>v</
Brighter Than The Sun
Summary: The new IT girl at the base Neyo is Marshal Commander of is a thorn in his side, and he hasn’t met her yet. If he has to listen to one more person sing her praises, he’s not going to be responsible for what happens.

A/N: Hihi! I decided to go with Neyo because I love him! I also, for the first time, went over my word limit. Only by 200 words, but still. Anyway! I hope you like it!
Tumblr media
Neyo is not in a spectacular mood.
He woke up in a foul mood, largely due to the sheer amount of snow falling from the sky. And it only became worse when he went to check what was on the schedule for the day only to see that his datapad wasn’t working.
And then he went to the mess hall for some caf, and had to listen to a group of shinies sing the praises of the newest civvie who came to the base. They weren’t saying anything he hasn’t heard before: she’s stunning, with a body to die for, and a smile that feels like the summer sun-
Honestly, if it wasn’t for the sheer amount of paperwork it would take, he’d seriously consider stunning them and throwing them in the brig for being sheer annoyances.
Needless to say, Neyo was not in the finest of moods when his General came over to find out why he was glaring at his datapad.
And her suggestion of taking it to IT to have them take a look at it was not appreciated.
Still, Neyo is realistic. He can’t fix it, and none of his vod can fix it, which is why the base has an IT department in the first place. So he finishes his caf, and the breakfast that he’s forcing himself to eat, and he makes the long walk through the base to the IT department.
There’s only one person in the room when he arrives.
The new girl.
She’s clad in long pants and a vibrant yellow shirt that reminds him of Bly’s tattoos, and she’s standing on a desk while her arm is buried in the room’s heater.
Now that he’s paying attention to it, it is freezing in here.
He clears his throat, and the woman pauses, before she twists slightly on the table to see who’s there. She blinks at him, and then flashes a bright smile, “Marshal Commander Neyo, yes?”
He arches a single brow, “In the flesh.”
“Oh, wonderful! I’ve been hoping to-oh, hold on-” There’s the sound of something hitting something and then she rips her arm out of the heater and shakes her hand out, “Ah, well. I’ll have to try and fix it later.” She mumbles, and then she hops down from the table, and hurries over to him, a blinding smile on her face, “I’ve been hoping to meet you, but you’re a hard man to catch!”
Neyo blinks at her, stunned.
Now that he’s met her, he can understand what his brothers meant. She is stunning. And now he can’t help but think that the way his brothers talk about her is grossly inappropriate.
“Well, I’m here now.” Neyo finally says, “My datapad isn’t working.”
She holds her hand out, even her nails are painted yellow with little white flowers on them. She’s karking adorable. “May I?”
“That's why I’m here.” He presses the datapad into her hand and he watches as she moves to sit at a table overflowing with flimsy. “Are you working alone today?”
“Oh. I’m the only one who works in IT.” She replies, “The previous guy who had my position quit.”
“I…see.” Neyo pokes around the room, there are parts of the room that are very neat, but the majority of the room looks like there was an explosion. “And the heater?”
“Broken.”
“...it’s freezing outside.”
“Well. Yes.” She admits, “But I have a jacket,” She gestures to a winter jacket lying on a table nearby, “I took it off to work on the heater.”
“That’s not your job-?”
She looks up, “Um…well, apparently this base has a manning issue? Maintenance quit too.” She tilts her head, and her hair shifts enough to see that her earrings are little white flowers too. “Did you not know?”
“I don’t generally handle civilian employees.” Neyo replies.
“Oh, that makes sense.” She messes with his datapad for a moment, “Um…you need a new datapad.” She smiles at him, “If you give me a couple of hours, I’ll get the new one for you by the end of the day.”
“Thanks.” Neyo pauses, “I’ll get one of my brothers to come and fix your heater. Can’t have our IT girl turning into an icicle.”
She flashes a blinding smile in his direction, and Neyo averts his gaze. She has no business being so pretty.
It’s the beginning of a slightly odd friendship.
Neyo finds himself in her office more and more often, it’s quiet, and his presence keeps even the most pushy of his brothers from trying to pressure her into a date. And she is good company, warm and welcoming.
It doesn’t take long before Neyo finds himself yearning for her.
It’s almost two months later, in the middle of the worst snowstorm that he’s ever seen, when Neyo gets the chance to make a change to their relationship. He’s sitting at a free desk in her office, his feet kicked up on “his” desk, while she’s working on formatting a datapad at her desk when the lights flicker, and then cut out.
Neyo pauses and glances at the lights, and then sighs when he hears the generator kick on. The heat comes back, but the only lights that come on are the emergency lights.
“I guess the storm won,” She jokes with a quiet laugh as she sets the datapad down.
“Guess so.” Neyo tosses his datapad on the desk and leans back to look at her, “No point in even bothering to work now-” He grumbles.
“Well, you deserve a break.” She replies, and Neyo glances at her.
“You work just as hard as I do.” He drops his feet to the ground and pushes to his feet.
“Well…yes. That’s true.” She brushes some of her hair out of her face, “But, well, let’s be honest. It’s not like I can hang out with anyone other than you. Your brothers tend to be kind of…weird, when I’m around.”
“And I’m not?”
“You’ve never made me feel like a walking steak next to a starving man-” She replies, “Not that they’ve ever done anything inappropriate, before you fly off the handle. I can manage a few uncomfortable looks.”
Neyo sighs, “I hoped that they would stop.”
“It’s fine, really. I’ve been dealing with looks like that since I was nine.”
“...that’s sickening.”
“That’s being a woman.” She smiles at him, “Anyway, I guess I’ll just return to my quarters until the power comes back.” She pauses when Neyo’s hand comes out to cup her cheek, “...Commander?”
“Can I kiss you?”
He can feel her cheek heat under his hand, and he can’t stop himself from lightly stroking her cheek.
“You…want to kiss me?” She squeaks.
“I want a lot more than that, but, for now, I’ll stick with kissing. With your permission?”
“I…yes…please-”
His lips land against hers in a kiss that starts out soft and sweet and slowly grows more heated.
And when he sits her on the edge of her desk, and moves to stand between her legs, with his lips moving to her neck to leave an obvious mark on her sensitive skin…well, he has to stake his claim somehow, right?

Neverd'ika - Little Civilian
Entering the packed establishment, you were surprised to see so many people gathered in the club. Although it was to be expected. The 91st and 21st were both on shore leave, along with the 327th, so there was a lot of troopers celebrating seeing their friends and vods for the first time in a while.
Smoothing down the dress you wore, you noticed that you were getting a few looks from the troopers you passed, including some that you worked with in the 91st. It was certainly going to help you with your purpose tonight.
For months now, you had been in a secret and clandestine relationship with Marshal Commander Neyo. At first it had been about nothing more than sex and comfort. After a particularly hard battle, where many troopers had lost their lives, you and Neyo had just kind of crashed together, needing to feel something other than grief and pain. From there, it had developed more and more, the usual stoic and cold Commander beginning to open up to you the more time you spent in his bed. In those moments when you could press together, sharing the warmth between you in the dark, Neyo would tell you things he had never spoken about before to anyone else and you vice versa. Having his trust and love made you feel special and you held it close to your own heart when he had showed you the real him.
But lately you had been arguing about how secret your relationship was. Both of you knew that you couldn’t announce it to the galaxy. The clones weren’t allowed to have fraternisations of any kind. If you were found out, you would be fired and pushed out of the GAR in disgrace, but Neyo… Neyo would at best be sent for reprogramming, and at worse decommissioned. You couldn’t risk it. But you did feel like some of the troopers that you worked with should know. They were his brothers and they had welcomed you in with open arms when you joined the 91st. Neyo argued that it was putting his brothers at risk if it was found out that they knew. And that was one thing Neyo refused to do – put his brothers at risk.
Spotting him at a booth with what looked like Marshal Commanders Bacara and Bly. Neyo and Bacara looked bored at whatever Bly was saying, but the Commander with golden tattoos didn’t seem overly bothered as a huge grin was splitting his face. Idly you wondered if the rumours about the General and Marshal Commander of the 327th were true. Taking a deep, encouraging breath, you quickly walked past them, making sure to shake your hips in your dress. It really was a beautiful dress, in your favourite colours and allowing you to show off your curves. But tonight, your mission was all about teasing him and getting him to have some kind of reaction to you in public. As you headed to the bar, you could already feel his heated gaze land on you.
The bar was busy, but you were able to quickly grab a seat as you waited for the bartender to come take your order. A trooper, dressed in maroon covered armour slid up to your left side, another in the 91st red on your right side. “Can we get you a drink, civvie?” your fellow 91st asked, and you couldn’t help but grin.
“No thanks, Slap, I’m not staying long” you told him, noticing his face fall slightly.
“That’s a shame, mesh’la, but maybe I can change your mind? Name’s Putt” the trooper to your left drawled, looking you up and down.
Although you knew that all clone troopers were trained to a high standard, and his commander expected nothing less than perfection unless a transfer form was needed, you could still tell he was a shiny. It seemed like this was one of his first shore leaves, and that was certainly not what you were looking for.
“Sorry boys, maybe next time” you smiled, looking between them.
Slap and Putt both nodded, taking your rejection in their stride. “Alright, if you need anything or want an escort to the barracks, we’ll be over by the back” Slap nodded, tapping your shoulder in a friendly gesture before grabbing their drinks and leaving.
Chuckling softly at them, you quickly pulled the bartender’s attention and placed your order with them.
“And a Corellian whisky as well” a voice behind you added, pushing a few credits across the bar top to cover both of your drinks.
From the recognisable voice, it was obvious a clone, but from the way that his armour felt bigger and the sway of his kama brushed against your legs, you knew it was a Commander. Now which one? From the firm tone, you thought it was a safe bet that it was Commander Bacara, not Bly. And you would recognise Neyo’s voice out of all of his brothers.
“Commander Bacara, nice to see you again. You didn’t have to” you greeted, nodding to the drinks that the bartender was preparing for you.
He nodded in greeting, taking the seat next to you. While working as a civilian contractor for the 91st, you had met Bacara when Neyo had taken you to a meeting during a mission with the 21st. Bacara and Neyo had a strange relationship, both cold and stern but they did seem to be rather close with each other. General Allie had informed you that both of them had created and developed the field trials of the BARC speeders.
“Nice little display you put on back there, almost had my brother crush his glass” he commented, accepting his glass of whiskey and pushing your drink over to you.
“I don’t know what you mean, Commander” you frowned, trying to keep your eyes on him rather than looking back at the booth to see if his words were true.
Bacara smirked and leaned in closer to you. “I think you do. You didn’t come here dressed like that just to fend a few shinies off” he stated, looking you over. “You’re either here because you two have had an argument, or you’re here to make him jealous” he shrugged, waiting to see your reaction to his theories.
You couldn’t help but gape a little, worried you were being a bit too obvious in your plan. “Commander, I don’t- That’s not- I don’t think” you spluttered, trying to find an excuse that would cover why you either couldn’t make a sentence or why you were dressed to the nines and parading in front of the commanders.
“Either way, I’m in” Bacara remarked, cutting your protests off as all the words left your mind.
What in all of the galaxy was he talking about? “Commander, that is not what’s happening here. I don’t know what you’re talking about but Neyo and I are professionals” you protested, heat rising up your neck and to your flushed cheeks.
Bacara frowned, brow furrowing in confusion. “Who said I was talking about Neyo?” Bacara questioned, shaking his head.
“Why would you think Bly was the one I was dressing up for?” you retorted, staring at him in horrified confusion. There was no way you wanted to compete with General Secura, she was a Jedi, she could probably predict your moves before you could think them. You wouldn’t last 5 seconds against her.
Suddenly Bacara’s face split into a shit eating grin. “Course I was talking about Neyo! The di’kut has been a pain in my shebs ever since he got planet-side. So, being the good big brother I am, I want to make his life miserable for the foreseeable future. And I know you came in here to tease him and work him up, flirting with me will really piss him off” Bacara explained, amusement running through his words and his eyes.
You could scarcely believe your ears, Bacara was offering to help you make Neyo jealous? In fact, he seemed really eager to do so. But surely there was some ploy in this. What would Bacara be getting out of this?
Seeming to read your mind, he grinned, and you suddenly felt like you were a mouse caught by a tooka. “Trust me, if it’s me, it’ll piss him off” he assured, leaning back fully and winking at you.
Not willing to look a gift horse in the mouth, you nodded, knowing that Bacara was right. Although they were friends and brothers, nobody could piss Neyo off quite like Bacara and vice versa. “Fine, but this doesn’t change anything. We still work together” you insisted, crossing your arms.
“Duly noted. Now laugh, like I said something funny” he instructed, turning to face you properly on the seat.
“Ugh! Now Neyo will definitely know something is going on. You’re never funny” you smiled, letting out a small giggle and tucking your hair behind your ears.
Bacara let out a noise that on anyone else would be a bark of a laugh, but on him sounded like he was already thinking of where to bury your body. “I’ll give you something, Princess. You’ve got a mouth on you, I’m sure my brother loves that” he grumbled, fingers brushing as he gripped his glass next to yours.
“He does actually” you huffed, letting your hand fall palm up on the bar top. Bacara wasted no time in running teasing fingers around your wrists, feeling your heart rate beat faster as you glanced over at Neyo. He was scowling over at the pair of you, before his attention was snapped to Bly and something obviously nasty came flying out towards his fellow Marshal Commander. Bly only shook his head and held up his hands. “He does seem annoyed” you relented, biting your lip as your gaze returned to Bacara.
“Of course he is, I know my brother” Bacara murmured, sliding his hand up your arm and upwards until he caught your jaw. “Bet he’s fuming knowing that I’m touching his girl and he’s sitting over there like a wet lemon” he grinned, tracing a thumb over your mouth.
You giggled, pulling away from him, glad that Neyo couldn’t hear you. “I’m willing to bet he’s already thought of 12 different ways in which he could kill you” you replied, keeping a sweet look on your face.
“Oh at least 15, sweetheart!” he corrected, slyly glancing at his brother who had a clear view of what was happening at the bar. “He looks like he did when I beat him in our all-terrain module back on Kamino when we were doing our ARC training” Bacara recollected, remembering how Neyo had looked ready to kill him when Bacara had scored the top marks in their squad. He leaned forward, face hovering so close to yours you could feel his breath.
A glass shattering pulled your attention away from Bacara, turning to see what had happened. It sounded like it came from the direction of the Marshal Commanders.
However, Bacara stopped you, a grip coming to rest on your cheek to stop you turning around to look. “Keep your eyes on me civvie, wouldn’t want to give the game away too soon” he breathed, eyes scanning your face. To anyone looking in, it seemed like he was flirting with you, reeling you in for a potential kiss. But you knew Bacara was having too much fun winding up his brother.
“I don’t want to upset him, just make him react a little” you reminded, hoping that Neyo was okay. You really did want to frustrate him, just to get a reaction from him rather than the rather generic discontent he showed everyone else.
“Such a kind, pretty little thing” Bacara murmured, fingers sliding over your bare knee. You let out a gasp at the gesture, concerned he was taking this too seriously. “Wonder how he’ll react to this” he grinned, pressing closer to you. He parted your knees with his own, your legs spreading for him. His warm hand trailed upwards and your breath hitched in your throat at the feel of his palm rising up your leg. “Can see why my brother likes you so much” Bacara smirked at you, eyes glancing somewhere to your right.
You barely had time to register how the smirk turn into a full laugh on Bacara’s face before a tight grip enclosed your arm and tugged you off the bar stool. It was only your own quick reflexes that kept you upright, because Neyo, the asshole, barely cared if you fell before him.
“Hey vod, I was just speaking to your pretty civvie here. I was thinking of taking her out for a drink sometime. I’m sure you won’t mind” Bacara teased, leaning back against the bar and watching as his brother’s face got redder and redder in anger. Oh he couldn’t wait to tell the Command batches about this!
“Kriff you vod! If you go near her again, I’ll make sure Mundi is looking for his Commander until Tatooine freezes over!” Neyo snarled, pulling you closer to him.
Looking up, you could see that his jaw was tight, and his beautiful brown orbs were darker than you could remember seeing them. The tattoo on his face added to his dangerous vibe and it made you want to squeeze your legs together to stop the rush of slick that you released. Fuck, he was hot, and you couldn’t wait to find out what your punishment would be. Resting your hands on his chest plate to steady yourself, you couldn’t help the shiver that ran through you when he looked down and your eyes met.
“And you, you just wait until I fucking get you home. Lets see how ready you are to spread your legs then” he growled, tightening his grasp on you, ignoring the little cry you let out and other vods’ attention falling on the pair of you.
“Best get going then Vod, I’m not the only one who’d be willing to take this pretty one home” Bacara chuckled, winking at me. Neyo growled, barely giving you time to react to Bacara before he was dragging you through the patrons and out of 79s.
He didn’t stop until he was at a taxi rank, hailing one of the taxis. Although he never said a word to you, he didn’t loosen the grip on your arm. You were sure you would have bruises tomorrow from how tightly he held you. You never dreamed your plan would work so well! “Neyo, don’t be so jealous. I was only speaking with Bacara” you giggled, running your hand up his arm and curling the short hair at the back of his neck around your fingers.
“You knew exactly what you were doing! So now I’m going to show you there’s consequences to your actions” he warned, tugging you closer. You could feel his hot breath fan across your face as you pressed your body into his front, feeling his cool armour against your heated skin. The taxi flew down next to you, door opening up for you and Neyo. “Get in!” he growled, not giving you much choice as he followed in after you.
“So bossy Neyo!” you smirked, letting your skirt rise further up your thighs. You could see the moment he noticed because his fists clenched in his lap before gripping your thigh, pulling it open slightly so he could trail his fingers up and down your inner thigh.
“It’s Commander, and you just wait, I’ll show you bossy” he said, his deep voice hitting you in your core and making your thighs close around his hand. Neyo pulled his hand away, leaving you bereft of his touch. He turned to face the driver, giving the directions back to your place.
You shivered, suddenly feeling cold as he had moved away from you. His tone made his words sound more like a promise than a threat. But whatever happened tonight, you didn’t think you would regret making the stoic commander jealous. Especially if he was going to fuck your brains out tonight as punishment. And who knows, it might take a couple of tries for the lesson to stick?
Neyo noticed your shiver, seeing how much you were seeming to enjoy his reaction to your teasing and flirting with his brother. Oh no, he couldn’t have that! His little brat was going to learn that by acting out, she wouldn’t get what she wanted. Seeing the lift of your lips, he leaned in closer towards you. Anyone looking at the pair of you would see a loved up couple whispering sweet nothings in the back of a speeder. But the words he whispered was anything but sweet.
“Take off your panties and keep your legs open” he ordered, voice leaving no room for arguments as he whispered low enough that only you could hear.
You gasped, staring at him in disbelief. He couldn’t be serious?! Take off your underwear here? In the back of the taxi where the driver could see? Glancing up at the driver you could see he was focused on the traffic of Coruscant and not what was going on in the back. But what if he turned around, or looked in the mirror? He’d be able to see right up your skirt!
“Neyo!” you breathed, eyes flickering back to the driver and then to him, hoping he would understand.
“You wanted my attention, now you’ve got it. Take them off and open your legs. I won’t ask again!” he said firmly, running a soft hand up and down your thigh. It was a small gesture to ask if you were okay with this, that if you wanted to, you would both stop. He wouldn’t force you to do this if you didn’t want to.
Taking a deep breath, you reached under your skirt and hooked your fingers beneath the hemline. Leaning into his side like you wanted a cuddle, you used the movement to hide you slipping the underwear past your hips and ass before quickly letting them fall to your ankles. Before you could even reach for them, Neyo had snatched them up and shoved them into a pouch on his belt.
Blushing more than you thought possible, you couldn’t help but let out a little squeak as Neyo gave you his full attention. Knowing exactly what he wanted, you slowly parted your legs, feeling so exposed that you had to reach for his hand and thread your fingers through his. You needed that connection with him, to know that you were safe and he’d make sure nothing happened.
“Good girl” he cooed, running a finger over your heated cheeks before dropping away. “I want you to stay just like that until we get home” he instructed, before turning to face the driver. “Excuse me sir, do you have anything to drink? My girl is feeling a bit hot at the moment” Neyo requested from the man.
Heart beating wild in your chest, you couldn’t help but turn a pleading look to Neyo as the man looked back in his mirror before pointing to a compartment underneath your seat. “I normally keep water and supplies in there. Never know when you need them, and it helps get good reviews” the driver explained, before turning back to the road.
“Thank you sir, we’ll be sure to leave a good review. Won’t we darling?” Neyo smirked, hand reaching in between your legs to grab the small compartment.
You couldn’t help but squeeze your eyes closed, having him so close to you was maddening, especially when he was teasing you like this. You clenched your fists beside you at your hips. When you opened them again, Neyo was looking at you expectantly. Gathering all your courage and praying your voice didn’t shake, you let out a small, strained smile. “That’s right, we appreciate your hospitality” you nodded, taking the bottle of water from Neyo and almost draining it in one go.
“It’s alright folks, I’ve picked up more than my share of drinkers. You won’t be the first or the last to feel a bit sick in my speeder. I’ve learnt to come prepared for anything” the driver assured, launching into a full blown conversation with you and Neyo. Every time he looked back, you felt like you were going to combust with embarrassment and desire that the risk of getting caught was creating inside of you.
By the time that the taxi reached your apartment block, you didn’t think your face could feel more heated than it was. Of course, Neyo knew exactly what he was doing and was enjoying the chance to make you squirm, especially after that little stunt in the club. So as you were getting out of the back, he made sure to slide his hand up the back of your skirt and gave your ass a squeeze.
Paying the driver and bidding him goodbye, Neyo all but dragged you to your place, allowing you to swipe your entry card in before he was ushering you over the threshold. He grasped your chin, keeping your gaze firmly locked onto his. “Don’t think I forgot about your behaviour at 79s girl, you’ve got a lot of making up to do. Now strip” he ordered, taking his time to slowly take off his own armour and placing it in the space you had cleared out next to the door for his things.
Feeling a slight tremble of embarrassment or nerves, you reached up to unclasp your dress, pulling it down slowly over your arms, then your hips and finally letting it pool on your hallway floor. You were left in your bra, the cool air of the room causing goosebumps to raise on your skin as you shuffled slightly.
“I said strip. That means everything. If I have to keep repeating myself mesh’la, it’s only going to make your punishment worse” he reminded, eyes trailing down your body as every inch of your skin was revealed to him. He couldn’t help but run a soft, gentle finger down your chest, between your breasts and over your soft stomach to your core in between your legs.
“Sorry Commander” you mumbled, wishing to keep on his good side for now. You unhooked your bra, tossing it at his feet as you stood there naked for him. He groaned, hand reaching out to squeeze your breast and running his thumb over your nipple as it hardened in the cool air.
“Fuck, you’re so beautiful. I’m going to ruin you. Now get onto the bed, spread your legs and put your arms above your head. Stay there until I say you can move, understand?” he demanded, wanting nothing more than to press his lips to yours. But you had been bad and had been teasing him all night. You had to earn his kisses.
Nodding and letting out a quiet ‘yes sir’ you turned around to head into your bedroom, wondering what he would do while he made you wait. But before you could even think of the possibilities, a hard slap landed on your rear and you flinched, a yelp leaving your lips. “What was that for?” you pouted, rubbing your stinging behind.
“A little encouragement to follow the rules for once” Neyo smirked, crossing his arms over his chest before he sent you on your way.
You scowled, fighting to hide it lest he see it on your face. He was such an asshole sometimes. But you knew that he could make you cum in the hardest of ways if you were good, or keep you on edge the whole night if he wanted to.
Climbing onto the bed, you got yourself comfortable, knowing you’d be in for a wild ride after all the teasing you did to him in 79s. But it had worked perfectly. You were now here, spread wide and waiting for Neyo to fuck you good. Maybe you would send Bacara a hamper in thanks. The thought brought a smile to your face as you raised your arms above your head, fingers wrapping themselves around the metal headboard.
While you were waiting, Neyo was browsing around your apartment, taking his time to relax into the sofa and admire the new flowers you had brought into the apartment. It was a Golden Fire Blossom, one that you had told him about one time when you had been in his office. You told him it had reminded you of him, the red of the 91st symbol that decorated his armour. It also reminded you that although everyone thought he was cold, unyielding, he had lit a fire in you that he always stoked whenever alone together.
Getting up, he headed to the kitchen, taking two glasses out of the cupboard and filling them with water. Leaning back against the counter, he took slow deliberate sips out of his own glass. He couldn’t help but remember the fury that ignited in him when he saw his brother and closest friend lay his hand on you. He had clocked you from the moment you walked into 79s, of course. He wouldn’t be who he was if he hadn’t. The way your dress clung to you, the dress in your favourite colour that always brought out your eyes, he had barely been able to restrain himself when some of the shinies under his command had almost started drooling at the sight of you.
Neyo was almost glad it was Bacara that had approached you. He didn’t think he would be able to hold it together if some shiny had been the first one to catch your attention that night. But that was until he saw how close Bacara leaned into you, the easy smile and laugh that you gave his brother. The sight of his vod’s light touches on your arm and knee had been enough to make his blood boil, and when a hand had slipped up your widening thighs, he knew he had to put a stop to it. Keeping the relationship under wraps was one thing, having to see you flirt and giggle at his brother’s advances was another. You were his, and he wasn’t going to let you forget that.
Squaring his shoulders, he finished his drink and placed it down. He pulled off the top of his blacks, and grabbed the other glass. It was time he gave you a little reminder on how to behave.
When Neyo finally walked in, you would have sighed in relief if you weren’t diverting all your focus onto glaring at him. Where the hell had he been? You had been waiting ages for him and the arousal dripping from your entrance was starting to cool on your thighs. Your impatience was starting to show as he placed the glass on the bedside table before stepping back and walking around the room. Huffing, you began to move your hips, hoping he would at least look over at you so you could entice him to touch you.
“I thought I told you to stay there” he growled, heading over to the chest of drawers that was across from you. “And take that look off your face, girl. You’ve already done enough, you don’t want to add to your punishment, do you?”
Gasping, you shook your head and stilled your hips. You certainly didn’t want to add to whatever punishment that Neyo had in mind. Watching, he opened the draw with all your toys in. What was he going to pick? Your collection had a vast variety, and being with Neyo had only made you add more to the collection as your relationship slipped into something more sexual. From your point of view, you couldn’t see what he picked out, his body obscuring most of his finds before you saw one come out that you most certainly recognised. It made your pussy clench at the thought of it being used on you.
It was a long wooden paddle, made from the finest wood from Kashyyyk. It was dark in colour, and there was a small cut out of aurebesh that matched the tattoo on the Commander’s face. This paddle was a personal favourite of his, he had it commissioned while being stationed on the forest-covered planet.
“Get up” he barked at you, shattering the anticipatory silence that hung in the room. You scrambled up to stand next to your bed, keeping your hands behind your back in an almost mockery of parade rest. He stepped closer to you, running the paddle over your hardened nipples and down your stomach, stopping just above your core. You fought the need to squirm and move under his hard gaze and the paddle’s teasing touch.
Giving you one last look over, he sat on the bed before tapping his knee.
You didn’t hesitate to lay over his lap, ass open and exposed to him. You were already skating on thin ice with him, it was best not to push him even further unless he left you dripping and aching for him without any release in sight. He had done it before and you had barely lasted a day before you had found some excuse to meet in his office and beg him to fuck you. Neyo had been smug for days afterwards.
“After that little scene in 79s, I want your ass red!” he told you, voice cold and hard. A sharp contrast to the heat that he was causing to build inside of you at his words and knowing what was coming. “How many do you deserve?” he asked, running a hand over your cheeks and giving them a light squeeze.
It was a trap.
Whatever number you said he would disagree with and give you his own number. But he had asked you a question, and you knew ignoring him would mean that whatever number he had in his head would increase.
“Whatever you decide, sir” you replied, bowing your head and wrapping your hand around his ankle.
“Clever girl” he praised, before landing a swat on your left cheek. It barely left a sting, but you jolted at the surprise of it. “15 then, 10 for your behaviour back at the club, 3 for your brattiness and 2 more for making me repeat myself” he issued, placing one hand on your back to steady you and resting his other on the globes of your ass. “I want you to count them, neverdika and if you miss one, we’ll start again” he warned, voice dropping lowly.
“Yes Commander” you nodded, a small thrill shooting through you at his nickname for you. Little Civilian. It was what he called you when you had first met. You still remembered that dry, cold drawl as you were introduced to him and the General. Hope you can keep up with us, little civilian. Giving his ankle a quick squeeze in reassurance, you were ready for whatever he could dish out on you.
Neyo gripped the handle and laid his first hit over the middle of your cheeks. It bloomed a lovely pink colour, a small white patch on your cheek displayed his CC number in aurebesh. He couldn’t help but smirk at that.
“One” you breathed out, the hit little more than a warm up.
The second strike landed just above and came down with such force that the noise rang out into the room. The Marshal Commander made sure that one would stay, his CC number marked onto your ass so all could see. Not that he would let anyone look, but it made a surge of possessiveness curl in his chest at the thought of marking you, even if nobody else could see it. You carried a part of him on you that would last for a while.
“Two!”
The next few hits lightened up, his aim hitting everywhere but where the number was displayed on your ass. You gulped out the numbers, counting each hit as warmth bloomed over your exposed rear, tears brimming at your waterline. These weren’t the hardest that Neyo could hit, but you knew he was working up to it.
This time, Neyo raised the paddle even higher, bringing it down with a cracking force. You yelped, flinching on his lap as you were sent forward by the hit. “Six” you cried, trying to press your head against his strong calves as you hung off his lap.
The spank fell on the top of your thighs, where they met your ass and he made sure that you felt that one. His hits increasing in strength and speed. It didn’t leave you much time to gasp out the number before another hit was delivered on your tender skin.
“You’ll feel me tomorrow, civvie. Won’t be able to sit without remembering your punishment” Neyo warned, and you didn’t doubt him. Neyo kept his promises, it was what made him such a cold, determined leader. Oh stars were you in for it.
You whimpered, hands clenching as you squirmed against him. He hit you harshly on the back of your thighs. “Ten” you cried out, hand coming to protect you from the next hit. The last ones Neyo usually made sure they counted. “I’m sorry, I won’t make you jealous again” you promised, trying to writhe off his lap.
Neyo grunted, grabbing your arm and pinning it to the small of your back as he lay a correcting spank to your left cheek. “That one doesn’t count! Stay still and take it” he reprimanded, and you couldn’t help but let the tears flow from your cheeks. You really wouldn’t sit well tomorrow. Laying back down across his lap, you couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for yourself. All you wanted to do was ruffle his feathers a little. After all, keeping your relationship a secret was hard work, you just wanted to have some fun with him. And it seemed that at least some of his brothers knew about you and him.
Nodding in approval at your behaviour, the commander raised his arm and struck harshly on your ass. It made you jump and you couldn’t help but cry out. “Eleven” you let out, hoping he could understand you.
Two sharp hits landed in quick succession and you barely had time to catch your breath. “Twelve, thirteen” you struggled to get out, air in your chest tightening as you felt like your ass was on fire. You wouldn’t be surprised if your ass started smoking from how much heat it was giving off.
“Ready?” he checked in, waiting for your nod to continue. You knew these two would be the hardest yet, and he wouldn’t hold back. Biting your lip, you took a deep breath, preparing yourself for the paddle to hit your sore, cherry red behind. “Brace.”
It was the only warning you got before the hit landed hard on the middle of your cheeks. It stopped the breath in your lungs before you yelped, thighs trembling at the hit. “Four-fourteen” you mumbled, wanting to squirm against his hold, but his grip on your wrist was like durasteel. There was no way you were getting out of it unless he let you.
“Last one” he told you, although you weren’t sure if it was meant to be reassuring or not. He ran the paddle over your behind, and you couldn’t help but moan as the cut out wood caught on your bruised behind. When it suddenly disappeared, you knew it was time.
Taking a deep breath, you cried out as the last hit landed square on the back of your thighs, ensuring that you wouldn’t be able to sit properly tomorrow without some assistance. “Fifteen” you sobbed, burying your tear stained face into his leg.
“Good girl” he praised, running a hand over your flamed cheeks and down your legs. “Took it so well” he soothed, letting you cry it out for a moment before he heard your cries subside. Running his fingers between your legs, he wasn’t surprised to find that he found you slick. “Looks like you enjoyed your punishment more than you let on, neverd’ika” he chuckled darkly, tracing your slit up and down and gathering your wetness. He pushed a finger in, and then two, setting a steady rhythm as he listened to your small whines as your hips shifted against his legs.
Slowly, he lifted you up to stand in front of him, and he couldn’t help but press a kiss to your stomach. “Learnt your lesson yet?” he asked, running his hands over your hips before snaking their way to your breasts. He gave each nipple a quick squeeze before retreating.
“Yes sir, I won’t ever tease you like that again” you replied, ducking your head as he stared between your thighs. It felt like he was stripping you to your bare bones, seeing everything inside of you that made you you. He looked like he wanted to devour you.
“Good, but your punishment isn’t over yet, girl. Get on the bed” he instructed, moving off it and heading over to the toys he had picked out for you both to play with. Grabbing the rope, wand and your favourite vibrator, he placed them all at the end of the bed.
You couldn’t help but gasp as you noticed what he had picked out. You were expecting maybe the rope and the vibrator, he always knew how much you enjoyed playing with that one while he was away, but the wand... What was he planning on doing to you? Was he going to keep edging you all night? Or was he going to push you into overstimulation? You never could tell with Neyo, his plans always a step or two in front of you.
“Sir?”
“Oh, don’t get coy on me now, neverd’ika. You think you could get away with flirting with my vod? A fellow Commander?” he smirked, coming over to tie your hands together. He ran his fingers through the loops, making sure they were just tight enough to keep you in them but loose enough they wouldn’t chafe or bruise. Gathering your wrists, he tied them above your head to the headboard.
It left your chest on clear display, your breasts pushed out and on full view for him. You wouldn’t be able to cover yourself or touch him back when he sucked marks all the way down your chest. Adding to the fact that you wouldn’t be able to scratch him up and dig your nails into him until he moaned, you felt annoyance and a pout coming out. “I said I was sorry!” you snapped, tugging on the restraints pointlessly. They wouldn’t budge an inch.
Neyo scowled, quickly grabbing your jaw and tightening his hold on you, forcing you to look into his eyes. “Cut the attitude!” he growled, squeezing your cheeks slightly. You couldn’t help but feel your breath catch in your throat. Nodding as best as you could, you hoped he could read just how sorry you were for your insolence this evening.
Grunting in acceptance, Neyo released you, kissing down your body and leaving marks over your chest and ribs before pulling away and grabbing another length of rope. This one he used to link your legs to each corner of the bed, spreading them and leaving them exposed to his hungry gaze. He chuckled once more before he looked up at you. “Let me show you what happens to little brats who don’t follow the rules” he smirked, as he got off the bed and looked you over.
Holding back a whine, you couldn’t help but wonder what he was going to do with you. Maybe flirting with his vods just to get his attention and a little reaction from him wasn’t the best idea. You hoped he wouldn’t leave you on the edge again all night. That had got to be the worst punishment compared to leaving you twitching and moaning because of every touch from him ruined you for everyone else.
Carefully watching him, he set up the vibrator, pushing it in with a steady minded determination that you knew that whatever he had planned, it would push you to your limit. But that was what Neyo did, he pushed you to your limits before building you back up again, showing you what exactly you were capable of.
You moaned at the feeling of the vibrator filling you, stretching you and brushing against the pleasurable spot within you. Unable to stop it as you tried to buck your hips up towards him. If this was your punishment, you didn’t think you would stop if this was what happened every time.
He stared down at your opening, taking in the fake cock spreading your lips open wide and humming in satisfaction at the small, almost unconscious rocking of your hips down onto the steady thrust of the vibrator inside of you. When he thought you were conveniently distracted, he turned on the vibration to a steady setting. One that set your nerves on fire as you tried to get some kind of motion within you as he held still. Teasing you to your limits before lowering the intensity.
You didn’t think you could take any more, your insides moulding around the vibrator and making you shake against him. But you didn’t give any protests, eager to find out what more your lover had planned.
Neyo lined up the wand, pressing it against your clit. Hearing you gasp as you realised what he was going to do, he raised an eyebrow at you, daring you to complain. “What? Nothing to say? Talked an awful lot back at 79s” he mocked, securing the wand so it wouldn’t move as you did. Without warning he flicked the switch on.
The reaction was instant. Your body locked up, simultaneously running and trying to push yourself against the dual simulations within you. Letting out a loud cry, he quickly climbed up further onto the bed, resting his knees against your side. Fuck, you could feel the vibrator pressing against that spot that drove you mad, hurtling you closer and closer to the edge as it buzzed inside of you. As your clit swelled and hardened underneath the wand’s attention, you couldn’t help but whine his name. It wouldn’t be long before your orgasm would hit you with all the force of a cruise ship.
However, noticing how close you were to the edge, he turned the vibrator down to a lower setting and set the wand in a rhythmic pattern, never leaving you able to predict when it would work it’s magic against you.
“Neyo!” you hissed, furious at him for taking away your orgasm just when you were on the edge.
He growled low in his throat, hand coming to rest around your throat, as his face hovered so close to yours, you could count the gold flecks in his beautiful brown eyes. “Something to say?” he asked, voice dangerously low and he nipped at your bottom lip when you shook your head. “That’s what I thought. You’ll cum when I tell you that you can cum” he snapped, before straddling your chest.
He leant over you, gathering something from the top of the rope that surrounded your wrists. He pressed it into your palm, making sure you had a secure grip on it. “If you want me to stop, pull on this, it’ll release the ropes” he said firmly, making sure you were focused on him and his words.
“Yes sir” you confirmed, knowing that even though this was all a bit of rough and fun, Neyo actually never wanted to hurt you.
“Now, lets fill this mouth so I don’t have to listen to you speak!” he smirked, pressing a quick kiss to your cheek before hovering his hard, heavy cock over your mouth. Sticking out your tongue, you took in a deep breath, ready for him to push into you. “Kriff! Such an eager little slut for my cock” he breathed, placing a thumb on your tongue and forcing your mouth wider. Spit collected and dripped down your mouth before Neyo rested the head of his cock on your tongue, slowly pushing it in.
He dropped his head onto his chest, feeling your wet, hot mouth draw him in, the feel of your tongue against his hot length had his eyes slipping close.
Taking the moment to get used to him on your tongue, you felt him push even further into your mouth, hitting the back of your throat and making you gag. It was too soon, and Neyo pulled back to give you a chiding look. Nodding, you began to suck on the tip, running your tongue over the slit and collecting the pre-cum that was already collecting there and running down his length. You really wished you had your hands to stoke up and down his shaft or massaging his balls, or stroking him to completion. Anything to touch him more, but you weren’t allowed. Neyo had made sure of that.
Reaching back behind him, Neyo took control of the vibrator, pushing and thrusting it into you while you sucked on his cock. The moans you were making echoed along his cock, sending pleasure pooling low in his core, pressure building as he kept the vibrator hitting that spot inside of you.
Looking down at you, he could see the glazed expression in your eye, as he pushed further and further into your mouth. He kept the vibrator on the same setting but returned his hand into your hair, guiding you into taking more of his cock into your welcoming mouth. Drool dripped down his balls as you whimpered around him. Kriff! You looked fucking perfect like this.
“Wonder what my brothers would say if they could see you now? Just look at you, choking on my cock” Neyo growled, thrusting his hips even deeper into you. You tugged on your restraints, wishing that you could touch him. Squeeze his hips and beg for mercy from him. He closed his eyes at the sound of you gagging, enjoying the way you constricted around him.
Unable to help it you let out a sob as he pulled out, the dual sensation of being filled by both his cock and the vibrator in your cunt, the wand pressing into your clit and keeping you on the edge was just starting to be too much. You wanted to cum, needed to feel the release that had been hanging over your head all night. Bucking your hips down, you couldn’t get the movement you needed and you let out another frustrated cry.
“Poor baby, look at how much she wants to cum” Neyo mocked, thrusting his cock back into your welcoming mouth, setting a pace that was hurtling him closer and closer to his own release. “”Kriff!” he hissed, and you watched as his jaw muscle twitched above you as he fought with himself. Wanting to get him back for all the teasing he had been doing to you, you hummed around him, trying to push him over the edge as he tried to control himself.
Neyo growled, eyes instantly glaring down at you before he pulled out of your mouth. “Want to play games, girl? Fine!” he snarled, climbing off your chest.
You gasped, thighs automatically trying to close but the ties kept them open. Landing a swift hit to your outer thigh, you yelped, throat feeling sore and well used. “Commander, I-” you rasped, voice hoarse from the rough treatment of his cock.
He chuckled, shaking his head before he turned off the vibrator and pulled it from your clenching cunt. He watched as a thin trail of arousal connected you to the toy before it broke and fell between you on the sheets. “Want me to cum, neverd’ika? I’ll cum, but I’m deciding where” he promised, climbing between your legs and pushing your thighs a little wider to make room for himself. “I’m going to fucking ruin you” he hissed, slamming his cock inside you with one thrust.
Crying out at his rough intrusion, you fought against the ties that was holding you to the headboard, hips bucking up into his to try and feel more of him. It was a hopeless task, he was already balls deep in you and fucking you like it was going to be the last thing he did in this galaxy. You didn’t think you could take his pounding for long, already clenching and tightening around him as you felt ecstasy flood your body.
That was until he pressed the wand to your clit, turning up the speed. An inhuman scream left your lips as Neyo held the wand to you, fucking into you with deep, rough jabs of his hips. “FUCK!” you shouted, tears brimming in your eyes as the explosion of your nerves. “Neyo please!” you whined, not sure if you wanted to move away or press closer to him.
“You can take it, you’ve done it before!” he groaned, slamming his hips into yours, beginning to lose his rhythm. He felt your inner muscles tremble around him and he reached up, gripping your jaw and forcing you to meet his eyes. “Don’t you fucking cum. Only when I say” he grunted, pressing the wand harder into your abused bud.
“Please, please! Neyo, I’m gonna cum” you begged, hoping he’d take mercy on you and give you the permission you needed to fall over the edge.
Neyo couldn’t help but slam his hips into you a few more times before he found his release, spurting his warm seed inside of your clenching and tightening walls, letting you drain him of all that he had. All the while he kept the buzzing wand on you, never letting up even as your cries and begging echoed in his ears.
“Say it” he ordered, voice barely giving away how he felt like he was boneless, completely exhausted from his orgasm. “Say what I want to hear and you can cum” he promised, landing kisses along your chest. His lips and soft kisses adding even more to your pleasure addled brain.
“Yours… only yours” you gasped out, fists clenching as your vision blurred with your tears.
“Good girl, cum for me” he ordered, thrusting his oversensitive cock further into you as you exploded around him at his words. Your cunt clenched tight, your body stiffening as heat rushed through you, finally able to have your release after all the pleasure he had wrung out of you. Your vision whited out and you felt your legs tremble at the waves of your orgasm washed over you.
Slowly, and with great reluctance you opened your eyes, you noticed Neyo’s small smile hovering over you. He kissed your head gently, before reaching up to untie the ropes around your wrists. Gently, he massaged the stiff muscles, making sure to keep his touches light as he checked you over. When he was sure your hands and arms were okay, he untied the rest of your restraints, making sure to encourage blood back to the area and checking you over.
“Here, baby” he murmured, taking the forgotten glass of water from the side and helping you to sit up against him to drink it.
The water was like a cool balm against your throat, and you couldn’t help but moan at the sensation of it going down and soothing the hoarse feeling. “Good girl, slow sips” he instructed, brushing your sweaty hair away from your face and helping you to take a few more sips. When you had finished the glass, he put it on the side, wrapping an arm around your waist as he brought you closer into his chest. “Want some more?” he asked, trailing soft fingers up and down your arm. You shook your head, just wanting him to hold you close for now.
“Alright, pretty girl, lets lie down for a bit before we hit the refresher” he murmured, guiding you to lie further down the bed and into his arms. He would hold you for a while before continuing with looking after you. He would also need to put some bacta on your ass cheeks before you went to sleep.
You sighed, feeling safe and warm and secure whenever he held you like this. Nothing in the world could harm you if you had Neyo next to you. Wrapping yourself around him, you couldn’t help but feel the wonderful ache of a good night with him. Your ass stung, your legs felt like jelly and there was a delicious ache from between your legs.
“Did good?” you mumbled into him, rubbing your nose against his collarbone, seeking his reassurance.
“Did perfect, neverd’ika. My perfect, good girl” he praised, smiling into your hair. If anybody saw him, they would have thought he had gone crazy, been reprogrammed or something. Marshal Commander Neyo did not smile, nor did he cuddle. But for you, he would always make an exception. He would always soften those hard edges that kept him alive on the battlefield because you were the only good think in this karking war. Everyday, he yearned for your warm smiles and teasing looks. Just the feel of your skin against his was enough for him to lose his mind.
Sighing heavily, he pulled you closer, pressing a kiss onto your crown. He would get up soon, tend to the bruises and marks he had left on you. But for now, he would give you what you needed. His strong arms, keeping you safe from the rest of the galaxy. Hearing a matching sigh, he couldn’t help but promise that he would talk to you a bit more about making your relationship a bit more public. After all, he didn’t want any more brothers sniffing around you. You were his. And he was yours.

Everybody Hates Neyo Round 2: Matchmaking Boogaloo
Tumblr media
A/N: This is a standalone sequel to “Everybody Hates Neyo,” (NSFW) by @dystopicjumpsuit (that’s me), and “The Blacklist,” by the brilliant @blueink-bluesoul, who also generously let me borrow the character of Daria Trace (THANK YOU!). You don’t need to read those fics to understand this one, but you should because they’re great and they provide more background. I converted the Reader-insert into an OC because to be frank, she’s a piece of work, and I didn’t want to project that onto my readers. That said, as always, feel free to insert yourself into the story if you prefer; I haven’t described the OC beyond being a woman with hair long enough to pull.
Pairing: Commander Neyo x the Admiral (formerly Fem!Reader)
Rating: M | 18+ | Minors DNI
Wordcount: 6.5K (I know)
Warnings and tags: toxic, obsessive behavior; SO MUCH SMUT; hatefucking; rough sex; oral sex; PIV; hair pulling; biting; sex under the influence of alcohol; Neyo and the Admiral being absolute menaces to society
Disclaimer: Let me just put on my Auntie DJ hat for a second. *ahem* This is a work of fiction intended for entertainment only. Please do not take this as a guide to romance or a healthy relationship. Neyo and the Bad-miral are flawed characters in a wildly problematic relationship with more red flags than the Fire Nation. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Matchmaker extraordinaire Daria Trace was not accustomed to failure. When she applied her considerable intellect to a problem, she did not stop until she formulated a solution. Which was why her now-99% matchmaking success rate galled her so intensely. In all her years of matchmaking, she had never encountered a client so stubbornly determined to thwart her efforts as Marshal Commander Neyo. After twelve failed matches—one of which involved a call from an infuriated woman demanding to know “why the kriff you thought I was a good match for that sociopath”—she had reluctantly conceded defeat.
The blacklisting of Commander Neyo from the Right to Love Matchmaking Service spread like wildfire through the GAR gossip channels. Most of the troopers thought it was hilarious; others insisted that he’d finally gotten what he deserved. In fact, the only people who seemed to have any sympathy for Neyo were Commanders Bacara (to be expected) and Fox (somewhat less expected). And when Fox reached out directly to Daria and asked her, as a personal favor, to give Neyo one more chance, she agreed. One more chance, and ONLY to give her an opportunity to get that track record back up to a perfect 100%.
She glared irritably at Neyo’s file and clicked her stylus three times, twirling it between her fingers. The man was impossible. It was no wonder he’d turned to RTL for help finding a partner; any woman in her right mind would run in the opposite direction the minute she looked into those blank, frigid eyes. She shuddered involuntarily. Shark’s eyes. Daria had made a few discreet inquiries after he’d first signed up for the service, just to make sure she wasn’t about to set up some unsuspecting match with a serial murderer. Without fail, every single answer said the same thing: he was an ice-cold sonofabitch, but he had a strict code of honor, and no, he wasn’t a serial murderer. Probably.
She sighed and tossed his file to the side, to be revisited some other day. He was her most difficult client, but by no means was he the only problematic match candidate, and she had a small stack of what Blizzard liked to call The Hopeless Casefiles waiting for her to review. Just thinking about Neyo’s case had given her the beginnings of a spectacular tension headache, and she flipped through the folders quickly, looking for one that was a little less challenging. As she skimmed the stacks of flimsi, her eyes came to rest on one name: Reeda Wai’yen.
Now there’s a thought.
Daria was sure that Reeda was a lovely woman, despite all evidence to the contrary. She was just very… intense. Like Neyo, she had chewed through several potential matches, and the most frequent word that appeared in her failed matches’ post-date surveys was “intimidating,” followed closely by “terrifying.” Daria had sniffed disdainfully that those particular matches simply couldn’t handle a strong woman; however, she had to admit that after several months of trying, she had not been able to find a perfect match for Reeda. She pulled Neyo’s file and laid it out next to Reeda’s. As she compared their backgrounds and preferences, she became more and more convinced. This could work. Given their personalities, it might well be the best possible outcome for society at large if they were both removed from the dating pool. And if it happened to close out her two most annoying files, well. That would just be the cherry on top of her perfect-track-record sundae.
Tumblr media
A timid knock sounded on Reeda’s office door.
“Come,” she called shortly.
Her assistant, Lissi, poked her head into the room. “Sorry to bother you, sir, but you’ve received a comm from RTL Matchmaking.”
Reeda cursed. She was up to her ass in flimsiwork, and she was meeting with the Senate Task Force on Galactic Security in ten minutes. She did not have time for this now.
“Take care of it,” she ordered.
“Sir?” Lissi asked, her wide, startled eyes giving her a distinct resemblance to a terrified ash-rabbit.
“Just take care of it,” Reeda repeated, tamping down her irritation at being questioned. “You know my schedule better than I do. Set it up. Somewhere nice—somewhere in the Federal district. I don’t have time to deal with traffic.”
Lissi blinked, nonplussed. “Don’t you want to see who you matched with?”
“No time,” Reeda said, rising to gather her materials for the meeting. “Just put it on my calendar, and I’ll be there.”
Tumblr media
Three nights later, Reeda sat in the restaurant at the top of the tower where her penthouse was located, waiting for her mystery date to arrive. She had to commend Lissi’s efficiency in choosing the venue; the only traffic she’d had to endure was at the lift. And it was a lovely restaurant, she had to admit, with stunning views of the Coruscant cityscape. She had only eaten here once since she’d bought the flat, usually opting to have food delivered to her office at the Republic Center for Military Operations as she worked late into the night.
She had resisted the urge to bring her datapad with her to the restaurant, knowing that if she did, she would inevitably get sucked into work, but now she wished she’d taken a moment to review the file from RTL. It wasn’t that she thought all clone troopers were interchangeable; far from it. She had worked closely with them during the war, had fought by their sides, and she had found them to be brave, competent, and loyal. They were also notoriously attractive, but she was a professional, and she was their superior officer, and she had never allowed that line to become blurred—except on one memorable and highly regrettable occasion.
She had had no time for a personal life during the war, but now that it was over—well, to be honest, she still had no time for a personal life. Which was exactly why she had reached out to RTL; it was the perfect solution. She didn’t enjoy solitude. She wanted companionship, and maybe even something more. But she needed a partner who would understand the demands of her career, and nobody understood the burden of duty better than the clones. Now that she had separated from the GAR and returned to her post in her home planet’s military defense force, the rules regarding fraternization no longer applied to her.
She hadn’t bothered to review the file because she’d learned from the previous several failed dates that a promising file was no indicator of compatibility. Still, as she waited for her date, who was now seven minutes late, she wished she’d at least checked to see if he had any identifying marks or tattoos that would make him easier to spot. To be fair, though, the few clones present in the restaurant were already paired up with other diners.
Her stomach rumbled. She hadn’t intended to skip lunch, but she’d had back-to-back meetings with the joint chiefs of the Core Worlds Defense Alliance and the senate appropriations committee, and one thing led to another. The service droid had delivered a basket of fresh, hot bread rolls, which she had heroically resisted for the first six minutes past the scheduled start of the date, but now her resolve began to crumble. If her mystery date didn’t have the basic courtesy to be on time, by the Force, he wouldn’t have a leg to stand on if she ate all the bread before he arrived.
She buttered a roll and took a small bite. She couldn’t suppress the groan of relief at the buttery, yeasty goodness, and she quickly polished it off, then picked up another. She had just begun to butter her third role when the unmistakable voice of a clone spoke next to her.
“Admiral.”
She turned automatically, a smile just beginning to form on her lips, when she caught sight of a familiar set of numbers tattooed on a handsome, arrogant face.
“Oh, no,” she said with disgust. “What are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same question,” Marshal Commander Neyo replied contemptuously. “I have as much right to be here as you do.”
“I’m on a date,” she snapped.
He looked pointedly at the empty chair across from her. “Looks like your date has a strong sense of self-preservation. Probably took one look at you and ran for their life.”
“He’s just a little late,” she said, tilting her jaw at a haughty angle to hide the flash of hurt at his words.
“That must kill you,” he said with a mirthless chuckle. “I remember the time you made a Jedi padawan cry for being three minutes behind schedule.”
“There were barely tears. Do. Not. Sit,” she gritted out as he made himself comfortable in the chair across from her. He picked up one of the remaining bread rolls and took a large bite, and she sighed. “Why are you here, anyway?”
“It just so happens, I am also on a date,” he said, mumbling around the bite of bread.
“Oh?” she wrinkled her nose at his table manners. “And who’s the unlucky lady?”
He shrugged. “I don’t know. Some civvie named Reeda.”
Her hand tightened dangerously around her butter knife. Neyo’s eyes dropped to the blade, and he smirked.
“Disappointed?” he asked.
“You could say that,” she said, grinding her jaw. “I’m Reeda.”
He choked on his bite of bread and wheezed a bit, pounding his chest to clear his airway. Alas, he survived.
“What?” he sputtered.
“You didn’t even bother to find out my first name after you were inside me?” she demanded. Her sharp tone attracted attention from the surrounding diners, and she heard a few quiet titters from the tables around her, but she was too irate to care.
“You didn’t even bother to find out who’d be eating dinner with you?” he retorted.
“Don’t pretend you aren’t just as surprised as I am,” she snapped. “Didn’t you read the file?”
“I didn’t get a file, just a call.” He grunted. “Apparently, ‘beggars can’t be choosers,’ and I was lucky to get a match at all.”
“Why am I not surprised?” she mocked.
“Careful, Admiral. Don’t forget they matched you with me.”
“I would be insulted if it weren’t so obviously a mistake. I can’t say I’m impressed with their performance thus far.”
“For once, I agree with you,” he said. “You’d have to be a special kind of incompetent to think we were a good match.”
The service droid approached the table and asked, “May I take your order?”
“He’s not staying,” Reeda cut in.
“I’ll have the bantha filet,” Neyo replied, ignoring her. “Bloody.”
He turned to her and arched his brows. The droid waited expectantly.
“I’ve suddenly lost my appetite,” she lied.
Neyo’s mouth twisted, and he huffed a breath through his nose. “The admiral will have the roast porg. And a bottle of Alderaanian red.”
The droid nodded and ambled away. Reeda glared at Neyo.
“I don’t eat meat, you presumptuous ass,” she said.
“Liar,” he said. “Unfortunately, the souls of the innocent weren’t on the menu, so I had to settle for your second-favorite meal.”
“At least you’re safe, since you obviously have no soul and you’re definitely not innocent,” she said in a pleasant tone.
Damn him for being right about the porg, though. How did he know?
The wine arrived, and he poured a generous glass for each of them. She didn’t toast; just downed half of it in a single swallow. Neyo sipped his and leaned back in his chair to observe her. His sleek, severe hair and the large tattoo on his cheek made him look menacing as hell, but it was his eyes that made brave men take a step back. She didn’t know how it was possible for his eyes to be that unnerving. Gods, why did he have to be so handsome? What a waste of perfectly good Fett genes to have a personality like that.
“Did you stay just to torment me?” she asked when the silence stretched beyond the limits of her endurance.
“And because I heard the filet was good,” he said affably. “What are you even doing on Coruscant? I thought you’d scuttled back to whatever hellhole spawned you.”
“Kuat,” she bit out from between clenched teeth. “I was assigned to work as our military liaison on Coruscant.”
“Couldn’t stand having you back on the planet?” he derided. “I don’t blame them.”
“I need to use the fresher,” she said, flinging her napkin down on the table with excessive force. “Feel free to die while I’m gone.”
She strode purposefully through the restaurant, her face set in a steely mask. She knew she was drawing attention from other patrons, but if she sat at that table and listened to Neyo needle her for one more second, she was either going to stab him or burst into tears. She pushed through the refresher doors and went to the sink, washing her hands just to give herself something to do. The face that stared back at her from the mirror was Admiral Wai’yen, not Reeda. Stern. Unyielding. Unaffected.
She swallowed, and her face crumpled. Tears of rage stung her eyes, and she ruthlessly wiped them away with her clenched fist. A soft noise at the door startled her, and she whirled to face the intruder. Horror flooded her. It was Neyo, and he’d caught her crying in the ladies’ room.
“What the kriff do you think you’re doing in here?” she demanded icily. “Get out.”
He stared at her for a moment, and then he locked the door. Stalking across the room, he cupped her jaw in his hands and tilted her face to get a closer look. She tried to pull away, to put her Admiral Wai’yen mask back in place, but then his thumb stroked softly next to her eye, wiping away the tear that had breached containment. She gasped involuntarily, and his lips collided with hers.
Reeda was so shocked that for a moment she went perfectly still, but then Neyo flicked his tongue across her lower lip, and her body remembered how to move. She thrust him away and stood back, glaring at him. His chest rose and fell quickly, and those cold eyes blazed with a dark and covetous fire. She raised a hand to her lips and felt the slickness left by his tongue. Something snapped inside her. She took two hasty steps forward, and she was in his arms again, his hands rough and dominating on her body as they consumed each other with a kiss that teetered on the edge of violence.
Lips, tongues, teeth crashed together. He clasped her tightly against his hard, unyielding body, and unbidden, the memory of him deep inside her came flooding back. He gripped her ass and ground his rapidly stiffening cock against her. Her reaction was electric. She rolled her hips, nearly climbing him in desperation. He dropped his mouth to her neck and kissed her once, roughly, and then to her breast, yanking aside her dress as he closed his teeth on her soft skin. He picked her up by the waist and set her on the edge of the sink, dropping to his knees between her thighs, rucking up her dress around her hips, and then his mouth was on her.
He didn’t even bother removing her underwear, as though he couldn’t wait another millisecond to taste her. He licked and sucked on her through the fabric, his mouth working frantically. Her body jolted and trembled at the effort of staying upright, and then his tongue snaked past the lace and dipped into her, smooth and hot and wet. He let out a vicious growl and grabbed her hips, settling her thighs over his shoulders, and then he pulled her off the sink and thrust her against his face as his tongue speared over and over into her cunt. She yelped and scrambled to brace herself with her hands, her arms shaking with exertion.
She couldn’t come like this, but kriff, it was hot to feel Neyo throw her around with such ease, like she was his own personal toy. How many nights had she fucked herself to sleep to the memory of their first encounter? The way he’d lifted her bodily off the ground and thrust into her, supporting them both with those powerful thighs—it played on a loop in her head for months, long after the bite marks and bruises had faded.
His tongue slid out of her cunt and swirled around her clit, and her legs spasmed around his head. She couldn’t come like this. Could she? All the muscles in her body began to tense, and her pelvis began to rock rhythmically against his face. Shit, I’m going to come. No sooner had the thought formed than Neyo dropped her back onto the sink and pulled away from her.
“No!” she wailed. “You bastard, I was right there!”
He shot to his feet. “Shut. Up,” he bit out, and kissed her punishingly hard. “Do you want the whole Federal District to know what we’re doing?”
He pulled her head back to expose her throat, and he scraped his teeth across her delicate skin. She felt his other hand fumbling in between them. Within seconds, his cock was free and thrusting against the scrap of lace that still covered her. She wrapped her legs around him and pulled him against her, determined to find the stimulation that she needed to reach completion.
“Get inside me,” she hissed.
“You aren’t calling the shots any more, Admiral,” he growled. “You don’t get to give commands.”
“I hate you,” she breathed.
“And yet here you are, begging for my cock,” he said coldly.
“I do not beg,” she said. “Ever.”
He released her hair and pried her legs away from himself, then took a step back. “You get nothing until you admit that you want me. I’ve waited a long time for this. I can keep waiting.”
“What the kark is that supposed to mean?” she demanded, sliding off the sink to stand in front of him.
“It means you give me what I want, or I walk out that door right now and you can figure your own shit out.”
Was this his twisted kriffing way of asking for consent? Because she was pretty sure she’d covered that when she all but ordered him to fuck her.
“Fine,” she said in a low voice. “I…” She nearly choked on the words, and Neyo’s intent gaze pinned her in place. “I want you.”
He wrapped his hand around the back of her neck and pulled her in for a bruising kiss, then spun her around and bent her over the sink. He pulled up her dress, yanked down her panties, and thrust into her. She muffled a whimper at the intrusion and squeezed her eyes shut as she adjusted to the stretch. He wrapped his hands around her hair and jerked her head up.
“Open your eyes. I want you to watch,” he ordered.
She complied, shocked when she saw her own ravaged face in the mirror as Neyo pounded into her from behind. Her makeup was smeared, her hair was a wreck, her eyes were dilated with lust, and a sheen of sweat glistened across her skin. She flicked her gaze to stare at Neyo. His face was twisted into a scowl, and if she had any sense at all, she would have been frightened, but she was in too deep to care. His hard eyes met hers in the mirror, and his jaw tightened.
He released her hair and slid his arm around her body, between her breasts, to wrap around her throat, and he lifted her upright so he could whisper in her ear.
“Do you know what you did to me?” His voice was hoarse and anguished. “Every time I kissed someone, all I could taste was you. Every time I hooked up, all I could remember was this perfect fucking pussy.”
He pounded into her with bruising intensity, furiously working her clit with his free hand. Her head began to throb. This was so wrong. He couldn’t be saying what she thought she was hearing. She was confused from the lack of blood flowing to her brain.
“I got matched twelve different times, and not one of them was right, because not one of them was you,” he snarled. “You cursed me. You haunt me.”
The world began to darken around the edges as her eyes drifted closed, and he released her throat and forced her head to the side so she faced him.
“Look at me when you fucking come,” he ordered.
She gasped, and he clamped his hand down over her mouth to muffle her scream as he wrenched an orgasm from her body. He didn’t let up, chasing after her at a frenzied pace that rocked her entire body as she sobbed into his hand.
“Inside?” he asked roughly.
She nodded and whimpered as tears blurred her vision and spilled down her cheeks. He came with two brutal thrusts, and she felt the hot rush of his release deep inside. He shuddered against her hair as his cock softened and slipped out of her. At last, he loosened his grip and turned her to face him as he leaned against the wall for support. He wrapped her in his arms and stroked her hair as she rested her head against him.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” she sighed as she licked his neck, unable to resist the temptation of tasting his skin.
“I’m sure there’s an official list in my GAR file,” he said, pressing a soft kiss to her temple.
Tumblr media
Reeda cleaned up quickly while Neyo went back to their table so they wouldn’t be spotted leaving the refresher together. Her hairstyle was destroyed, so she hastily repinned it as well as she could, and then wiped off the mascara that smudged heavily beneath her eyes. A quick reapplication of lipstick, and she almost looked presentable—with the minor exception of her missing panties, which Neyo had silently retrieved from the refresher floor and tucked into his pocket while maintaining strong eye contact.
When she returned to the dining room, Neyo waylaid her with a ferocious expression. Force, what is he scugged about now?
“We’re leaving,” he said, taking her by the wrist and pulling her toward the exit. A few quiet murmurs whispered around the room as he dragged her behind him.
“What?” she asked, tugging her wrist to no avail. “Why?”
“The karking droid gave away our table,” he said.
“My deepest apologies, Admiral,” the droid said. “We can locate another table if you would care to wait.”
Reeda assessed the room quickly. Every table was occupied, and none of the diners were anywhere close to being ready to leave. Moreover, at least half of the customers were eyeing her and Neyo with expressions ranging from amusement to overt curiosity.
“No,” she said. “Have the food delivered to my flat.”
“Right away, sir,” the droid replied, waddling off to relay the order to the kitchen.
Neyo looked at her inquisitively. “Your flat?”
“I live in this building,” she said. “Come with me.”
She was keenly aware of the many sets of eyes that tracked their hasty exit, but before long, she led Neyo into the private, secure lift that opened directly into her penthouse. He stood silently next to her on the trip up, watching her with an inscrutable gaze. She tried not to give herself an opportunity to second-guess her decision to let him into her home. Strange, she thought, how this seemed more intimate than allowing him inside her body. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d allowed another person into her home.
The lift doors opened, and he followed her into the flat, pausing long enough to remove their shoes, then looking around curiously.
“Lived here long?”
“A few months,” she said. “I bought it when I found out I’d be stationed on Coruscant long-term.”
“It’s nice,” he said. “Very… clean.”
She laughed. “You mean sterile. I haven’t had time to do much decorating. I’m hardly here except to sleep, anyway.”
He nodded. “I thought I’d have more time for hobbies after the war ended, but now it’s just nonstop—”
“Red tape and committees,” she finished with a sympathetic grimace. He shot her a wry grin. She didn’t think she’d ever seen him smile before, and it did uncomfortable things to her brain. She tried not to think about it, instead asking, “What kind of hobbies? Aside from plotting my slow death, obviously.”
“Oh, you know,” he said vaguely. “Torturing small, adorable creatures; sharpening my vibroblade collection; collecting stamps; that sort of thing.”
She blinked. “I can’t tell if you’re joking.”
He regarded her steadily for a moment, eyes unreadable as ever. “You really think the worst of me, don’t you?”
She was taken aback. “I—”
Her reply was cut off by the chime of the door. The food had arrived, thank the Force, which gave her a moment to stop herself from blurting out her immediate thought: You’ve never given me any reason to think anything else.
Neyo was a competent soldier—brilliant, in fact. There was no question that he had one of the finest tactical and strategic minds in the GAR. But as a person? From the moment they’d met, he’d been antagonistic, sardonic, cold. He’d challenged her authority and provoked her in meetings. He’d only treated her with the barest semblance of civility in public, and in private—Well. They both knew how things went when they were alone.
The service droid rolled a cart into the dining room and began setting up the meal.
“Can I get you a drink?” she offered Neyo. “I don’t have any Alderaanian red, but I do have Cheedoan whiskey.”
“The good stuff,” he replied. “I’ll have a glass. Thanks.”
The droid finished setting up and shuffled out the front door as Reeda poured two generous glasses of whiskey at the wet bar.
“Ice?” she asked.
He didn’t answer, and when she turned around, she nearly dropped the glasses in surprise to find him standing close behind her. He locked his eyes on hers and never looked away as he took one of the glasses and drained it in a single swallow, then set it down with a decisive click on the counter. Her heart began to pound as he loomed over her. He traced his fingers from her elbow up to her wrist, and then he wrapped his hand around hers and raised her glass to her lips.
The whiskey burned a fiery path across her tongue and down her throat. A few droplets escaped and splashed coldly on her chest. Neyo didn’t let up until she emptied the glass, and when she was done, he leaned down and sucked the liquor off her skin. His hands dropped to her hips and slid up her back as he located the zipper of her dress and dragged it down excruciatingly slowly, and all the while, his mouth moved across her skin. He slipped the straps down over her shoulders and let the dress fall to the floor, and then he kissed a path along the lacy edge of her bra.
“Thanks for the matched set,” he said, unhooking it and pulling it off.
“Those were expensive, asshole,” she said unsteadily.
He didn’t reply, but she knew she was never going to see that bra again. He kissed his way down her breast and captured her nipple in his mouth, abrading it lightly with his teeth. She jolted, and the empty glass slipped from her hand and smashed against the hard tiles of the floor.
Neyo barely responded to the sound of shattering crystal. Reeda froze, keenly aware that the smallest movement could result in a bloody footful of glass. She stood utterly, helplessly still as he continued to explore her body with his teeth and lips and hands and tongue. He was thorough in his attentions, and something about being entirely at his mercy was wildly arousing. Her head spun as the whiskey began to work its insidious way through her bloodstream.
“I missed this perfume. What is it?” he murmured against the soft skin of her abdomen.
“I don’t wear any,” she said.
He nuzzled against her as though he could transfer her scent to his own skin. Without warning, he scooped her up and carried her out of the room, completely disregarding the risk to himself. But instead of dropping her as soon as they were clear of the broken glass as she expected, he asked, “Bedroom?”
“Left,” she said, and he strode across the flat and kicked open the door, to her intense irritation. “You gonna pay for the broken doorknob?”
He didn’t reply, just tossed her onto the bed and pounced on her as soon as she landed. He slid in between her thighs and gripped her hard as his mouth descended on hers, kissing her as though he were trying to devour her soul. He was still fully clothed, and she scrambled to pull off his shirt. He was completely unhelpful, too engrossed in her taste. She raked her nails across his skin as she yanked his shirt over his head, and he seized her lip in his teeth in revenge.
At last, the barrier of his shirt was gone, and she writhed against him, desperate to feel as much of his warm, smooth skin against her as possible. They clashed together, sinking nails and teeth into each other. At some point, Neyo got his trousers down enough to free his cock, and he shoved into her. His belt chafed harshly on her delicate skin as she wrapped her legs around him, urging him to go deeper, harder, faster. The sounds they made were unholy, primal: growls and grunts and screams of pain and ecstasy as they tore into each other with all the aggression that they had built over the years.
She pulled his hair; he clawed her back. She slapped his face; he bit her shoulder. She snarled that she loathed him; he interlaced his fingers with hers and whispered how beautiful she was when she came apart beneath him. She thrust him away and kicked him across the bed; he pinned her down and fucked her until she sobbed and begged for more. At some point, she tasted blood, and she didn’t know or care whose it was. And when at last she lost count of how many times he’d brought her to orgasm, he curled his body around hers and traced his thumb softly over her features as she drifted to sleep.
“If I die while I’m inside you, it’s the closest I’ll ever get to heaven,” he whispered.
“Force, you say some kriffed up shit,” she grumbled.
Tumblr media
Reeda awakened slowly, aware of something blissfully warm and soothing moving across her skin. She cracked her eyes open. Neyo was lying on top of her, dragging his tongue lazily over her body. He roamed along her curves, and it wasn’t until he paused at her bruised wrist that she realized what he was doing.
“Are you licking my wounds?” she breathed.
He didn’t answer, but his eyes met hers with an intensity that bordered on madness. Gods, everything about this was so fucked up, and she didn’t dare examine too closely why she found it so incredibly arousing. He moved slowly, meticulously, his tongue gliding softly over every centimeter of her body, until she felt like a bomb, ready to detonate at the slightest spark. She came before he ever reached her cunt, and again as he rocked gently inside her, his lips soft against her mouth, silent tears spilling from the corners of her eyes to course down her temples.
After, he guided her into the shower, and when her legs gave out, he held her upright as the hot water washed over them. Once he’d massaged her entire body with his strong, soapy hands, he dried her off and laid her back on the bed while he spread bacta across the damage he’d inflicted. It was disorienting to be cared for so thoroughly by the man who’d spent the better part of four years making her life hell. He didn’t speak, and she didn’t know what to say, so in the end, she simply watched him in silence.
When he finished with the bacta, he retrieved their dinner from the dining room. The food had long since gone cold, but after hours of intense physical activity, they were famished, and they ate it anyway, sharing bites and sipping whiskey straight from the decanter. Neyo sat with his back against the headboard, his long, strong legs bracketing Reeda as she leaned back against his broad chest.
“How did you know porg was my favorite?” she asked.
He shrugged. “They’re tiny, cute, and innocent. I just assumed you would enjoy extinguishing the life from them and consuming their remains.”
She laughed and snuggled closer to him. “Is that why you order your meat rare? Because it’s the next best thing to drinking straight from the source?”
“Finally, someone who understands,” he smirked. “Truthfully, I overheard you tell Admiral Coburn that porg was your favorite during a banquet at the strategy conference at Valor.”
She turned to stare up at him. “Neyo, that was two years ago. That was before we ever…”
“I know,” he said, burying his face in her hair and breathing deeply.
“Stalker,” she murmured.
He dropped his mouth to her neck, and she tilted her head back against his shoulder as his lips glided across her skin.
“What does it say about you that you like it?” he whispered when he reached her ear.
He pulled her close, positioning himself between her and the bedroom door. From the proprietary way he held her, she knew it was a deliberate choice; any threat that came through that door would have to go through him before it got to her, and she had a feeling that there weren’t many beings in the galaxy that were brave or foolish enough to try.
Tumblr media
Reeda jerked awake to a furious pounding at the front door. Neyo was already halfway out of the bedroom, stark naked and armed with a steak knife from their midnight dinner.
“Wait here,” he ordered, his voice hard and flat.
She rolled her eyes as she pulled on a bathrobe and grabbed a blaster from her nightstand. Neyo glared at her when she joined him, but didn’t bother yelling at her.
“Coruscant guard! Open up,” a modulated voice shouted harshly from outside the door.
Neyo glanced questioningly at her, and she shrugged, hiding the blaster behind her robe. He stepped out of view of the door, and she opened it to find none other than Marshal Commander Fox, flanked by two Corrie ARC troopers.
“Commander,” she greeted him, not bothering to conceal the surprise in her voice.
“Good to see you’re in one piece, Admiral,” he said. “Are you all right?”
“I beg your pardon?” she asked, baffled.
“We received multiple calls about a disturbance at your address. Are you alone?”
Reeda felt a hot rush of blood wash over her face and neck. “I fail to see how that is any business of yours, Commander.”
“Sorry, sir, but it’s my duty to—” He stopped abruptly, and his visor shifted to a point behind her.
“Isn’t this a little below your pay grade, Fox?” Neyo drawled close behind Reeda.
Fox’s visor turned back to Reeda, then to Neyo, and then back to Reeda again. The two ARC troopers appeared to be fascinated by the walls on either side of the front door.
At last, Fox spoke. “I don’t send shinies to wake up admirals.”
Neyo’s hand slid possessively around the front of Reeda’s abdomen, and he pulled her against his nude body. Something large and solid prodded against her backside. Dank farrik, is he turned on right now? Sick bastard.
“Thank you for your concern,” she told Fox, “but everything is under control.”
“So I see,” Fox replied. “Still, you’ll need to keep the noise level down, or I’ll have no choice but to arrest you for disturbing the peace.”
Neyo reached forward silently and shut the door in Fox’s face, then he spun Reeda around, picked her up over his shoulder, and carried her back to the bedroom. The last thing Fox heard was the unmistakable sound of Neyo’s hand slapping her ass as Reeda shrieked with indignant laughter.

Republic Military HQ buzzed quietly with speculation the next morning when not one, but two of the most senior command staff called in sick for the first time in either of their careers. Rumors swirled: some were convinced a secret bioweapon had been released by Separatist holdouts; others maintained that the stress of dealing with politicians was beginning to take a toll; still others claimed that it was a coverup and that the marshal commander and the admiral had been taken hostage by pirates. It was whispered that Commander Fox had a particularly haunted expression that morning, and two of the Coruscant Guard ARC Troopers had contacted the legal department to update their wills. In the midst of all this, the beleaguered Lissi received a brusque order to inform RTL Matchmaking that the admiral no longer required their services.
Tumblr media
Daria drained her third iced caf of the morning as she flicked through her holomessages. Buried amidst the intake forms and meeting invitations was an abrupt-bordering-on-rude note from Marshal Commander Neyo ordering her to close his file.
“Why do you look like the tooka that got the blue milk?” her fellow matchmaker Tarsi Renda asked as she passed Daria in the corridor.
“Oh, no reason,” Daria smiled. “The galaxy is back to normal, that’s all—and my track record is once again perfect.”

On this here February 1st, I'll be showing some love for the 21st Nova Corps, a unit lead by Marshal Commander Bacara and Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi. I couldn't find any other named clones from this unit outside of Bacara, and I haven't written for this guy before, so I'll do some headcanons just for him :)
Tumblr media
The 21st Nova Corps
I did a quick dive on Wookiepedia first, and here were some things that stood out to me from what's apparently already been canonized:
The 21st Nova Corps has a reputation for being relentless and exceptionally conditioned/disciplined.
This is in large part due to Bacara having super high expectations, he will kick anyone who doesn't meet them out of the squad, even without Ki-Adi-Mundi's approval.
Actually described as being "at odds with" Mundi, though in another section was said to have a grudging respect for him.
Bacara utilizes aggressive tactics and is extremely strict. He ignores the recommended GAR practice for commanders to remain inconspicuous in battle, and instead chooses to lead his troops from the front.
He's described as a loner and stern. I saw somewhere he was besties with Neyo, too, and they developed combat techniques together.
With that foundation, here are some headcanons I have for him:
Doesn't talk much, but not because he's shy or emotionally constipated. He really only cares about war and rarely meets people who are interested in discussing the topic with as much passion.
Like seriously, he has no other hobbies or interests. Music? Never heard of it. Sports? Boring. Holo-films? Food? Knitting? Yeah no, he's already walking away from this conversation.
If he is comfortable with someone though, he can talk about battle strategies for daaaays.
Fucking hates milk.
Has a mind for improvement. Not quite a perfectionist, he just won't ever settle for "good enough" when something better is still achievable.
Thus, he's constantly working angles in his head, coming up with possible solutions, thinking outside the box. Even for common, everyday situations like getting out of traffic or folding the laundry.
Jason Bourne vibes.
Has one small tattoo on his foot, will never say what it is.
Natural at picking up languages. Fluent in Mando'a but can carry simple conversations in plenty of others.
Spends his R&Rs pouring over wartime history/strategy books in the archives, with a beer.
If someone asked him on a date, he would straight-up say "why?" So confused.
He would be a pretty good partner, though, if he ever opened himself up romantically.
And if he could ever find someone who meets his high standards...
I also read that he was featured on a GAR campaign poster, and I firmly believe he secretly has a massive print of it taped to the back of his closet door.
Can not roll his tongue. Every other clone can and it pisses him off.
Has the best laugh you've ever heard in your life. He does use it occasionally, but very randomly. Not even his squad has been able to work out what exactly his sense of humor is.
His squad... All are just as intense and passionate as their commander. When they're not fighting, they're training to fight. There's no room for shenanigans or relaxing.
Other clones keep a respectful distance. They know the Nova Corps get sent to some pretty hardcore places.
Most of them have never set foot in 79s, or any bar for that matter.
Bacara goes every once in a while, because he does like a good beer, but he's very out of place. Just... kinda sits there... not doing anything...
He gets hit on a lot because he's smoking hot but has never taken anyone home. Not opposed to the idea of getting laid, but it would take a lot to catch his eye.
Eeeevery once in a while, when life gets a little too still and his thoughts wander past all the combat tactics and weapon factoids that are usually in the way, a deep and vulnerable feeling makes its way to the surface and almost cripples him: loneliness.
He has no idea what to do about it, so rather than face it like he would a charging battalion of droids, he instead pushes it right back down and moves on.
Okay but now I'm imagining Queer Eye showing up to help Bacara find some hobbies and a girlfriend 😂

Fox is trading classified information and his brothers indulge the high prices probably because they love him
Even though they barely saw him, Fox was actually the most sought out little brother in the command batch for several reasons:
Not only was he still adorable to his barely older brothers as they noticed the same stubborn curl of hair not sticking to the regulation style and the curiosity fueling every very intentional move under all his gruff and overworked exterior, he was also the most experienced in solving civil conflicts.
Contrary to the GAR being deployed wherever necessary, his corps stationed on Coruscant dealt with living (in most cases) breathing sentients of all shapes, forms and in various states of coexisting on a day to day basis. The Corries might not have been as efficient in fighting clankers, couldn't identify the typical formations and moves as fast, but much like their Marshall Commander, they were patient and exceptionally well trained in reading social context clues.
Subsequently they were the clones with the vastest knowledge on how to not offend, peacefully interact with and even more importantly protect civilians. The Corries operated on a completely different scale when it came to navigating politically or culturally charged conflicts. One could say what Fox lacked in social skills needed to bond on a personal level, he made up for tenfold on a professional level. He keept tabs on everyone who owed him a favor and never ever ended up in debt to a brother. In time his resourcefulness put him in a position of being able to unofficially request parts of the other corps' rations and medical supplies even though he was the one who should have the easiest access to all assets available to the clone army.
Bacara had been watching this spiel go on for almost two years by now. He was one of the few who had only dealt in the Guard's currency of datachits for physical resources once or twice. Information about the Outer Rim was hard to come by even for the Guard. He was also sure he had paid a bit more than strictly necessary. Sure, it had been his own fault for not striking a better deal, but he wondered if the other commanders were actually oblivious to Fox subtle manipulation tactics or if they just liked him enough to indulge his antics. It's not like Fox was unlikeable. He never asked for truly unreasonable amounts in exchange for admittedly very valuable and not seldom crucial information on their next mission targets. But the Corries still took all they could get.
The Marshall Commander of the Galactic Marines was pretty sure the Guard got their info by spying on the Senators. He and Neyo mused their brothers on Coruscant had to be pretty close to some of the biggest assholes in the galaxy to be privy to those details. No politician would be dumb enough to carelessly discuss highly confidential tactics and locations in the corridors of the Senate building or the official meetings their brothers guarded, right? After all the Corries were no aides expected to be present all the time to bend to the Senator's every wishes, they only provided security where necessary.
Bacara wasn't very close with any of the commanders and wouldn't consider them friends per se, except for Neyo. The 21st was currently on their first and very limited shore leave after more than eleven months in the Outer Rim. His troops only returned to Coruscant for a classified mission for Mundi to run planetside. They all respected their General, but nobody was really interested in the Jedi duties the Cerean cited for their impromptu stay. What his men were actually interested in was stocking up on perishable and therefore rarely available foods and getting a drink at 79's. So that's where he currently found himself nursing some spotchka in a small booth in a corner. Nobody would dare to cause serious trouble and risk ending up in the drunk tanks or worse confined to their own cots back on the ship as long as he's present.
Their leave on Coruscant was scheduled on short notice. He didn't tell the other commanders about it because they wouldn't be at the homefront long enough to organize a meet up for batchers from different corps anyways.
So Bacara didn't expect to see anyone tonight. But even in the half darkness of the bar the very distinctive red of the local Marshall Commander's armor caught his eye instantly. Bacara was well aware the Guard always knee who was staying on Coruscant (he was pretty sure Fox also knew exactly where the others' deployments led them to and who of the commanders was currently sporting an injury grave enough to be reported to their medics and for what reason).
Fox seemed to notice him as well but took his time talking to a natborn Bacara didn't recognize nor care for before sauntering over to the only other clone still wearing a full kit except for the bucket. Bacara resigned himself to a conversation undoubtedly more suited to be held with a sober mindset but seeing the glasses the red armored man carried and the three empty glasses already stacked on his table it was a little late for that, wasn't it?
"Commander, it's a pleasure to see you and your men in our humble abode after such a long time."
Fox voice was smooth and even though he looked exhausted his smile actually reached his eyes. That's not something Bacara had seen often on his fellow Marshall Commander. He's also sporting some barely noticable fine scars and Bacara couldn't tell for sure what would have caused those.
"I'll make sure my men won't bother you. We're only planetside for two rotations anyways."
Fox nodded as he held out both glasses for Bacara to chose one. For a split moment his hands seemed to be a bit unsteady but maybe Bacara's eyes played tricks on him in the dim lights of the bar because the movement was gone in the blink of an eye. He took the smaller drink and held the glass out for a cheer. Fox clinked their glasses but instead of the usual Mando'a used by the commanders he cheered in crisp Concordian.
Bacara blinked. Oh, so that's why everyone happily played along with Fox little games. That cold hearted idiot actually cared about them. So even the rational leader of the Galactic Marines being well aware of Fox coaxing him into a slightly unbalanced deal couldn't find it in him to say no too many times. Nobody needed to know that he also decided to join the line of GAR commanders sending the Guard even more supplies than they asked for.
I don't know if Concordian actually has a different word for Mando'a "K'oyacyi" and if the Journeyman Protector training Bacara would have any incentive to use it in front of cadets but in this AU Bacara feels valued by Fox acknowledging his ever so slightly different cultural background as well as giving him the opportunity to pick his drink
