Happy Anniversary to the Rise of the TMNT MOVIE!!!! :)

Like @howtotrainyourdragonprince, I wanted to just commemorate the things that this amazing movie has done in the lives of so many people. Myself included. :)

Rise of the TMNT has sparked MORE FANFICS THAN I CAN COUNT. The show had many holes, (especially in the drama/angst variety), BUT, it was almost as if the creators of the show KNEW the fans of the franchise would step up to the plate and create THOUSANDS of au's, fanfics, comics, and more. :) Rise might not have been what we expected from the TMNT franchise, but it was something we needed. :) A BIG opportunity for so many like-minded people to pour their hearts and creative juices into something we all love.

And that's just the series.

I haven't even TOUCHED how much the Rise MOVIE has influenced and inspired SO MANY artists and authors. Many of the comics and stories I follow, (and make comic dubs for), are au's taken from the Rise Movie and series!

All these people, (AND MORE!), have taken all the heart, talent, and genius of the Rise series and movie and honored it by creating more from it. :) My story, (the Strength in Weakness), was also partially inspired by Rise!

It just goes to show how something as seemingly small as a tv series or movie can bring so many people together. <3

I am so so proud of Ally for working so hard on this chapter. ( Guys buildings are SO DANG DIFFICULT TO DRAW.) She didn’t give up, pushed through the difficulties, and is now standing victorious as she begins the next chapter! 👏😊

So sorry for the long wait on this one guys! But I have already got some sketches for the next part done so hopeeefuullly it will go much smoother! Thank you for all your patience!

Also, time to learn about what the adults in this comic are up too- this will be a pretty short chapter. :DD

Also... disclaimer... I traced the first panel of Draxums lab from a screen shot from rise. I tried very hard to do it on my own, but it looked quite awful every time. I will be working on my drawing structures skills so I do not have to rely on that in the future. ^-^;

Tbh this is just a way for me to express myself. I thought about it over and over again after having a shutdown last night, so I spent the night doing it (that's why it's kinda rushed).

I wish more people could understand how much you can't talk, or sometimes, even acknowledge the world around you. How the only thing you can do is try distracting yourself for the overwhelm. That's why I needed to make a Leo who understood it and knew Donnie only needed some time alone, and it's okay.

Overall, I'm fine now and happy I was able to express myself through drawings, I really wasn't feeling well atm and spent 3 hours watching ROTTMNT comic dubs (okay now my urge to make a comic makes sense lol).

I totally get you tho, I’m so used to leaving the volume off when listening to dubs on YouTube bc of the usual lack of dubbing quality - It’s why I wanted to dub mine myself, actually. I knew that I was the only one who could say the lines *exactly* how I wanted them.

(I hope that doesn’t sound offensive to anyone else.. but, what can I say? I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my projects..) 🤷‍♀️✨

This has been one of the hardest dubs to edit by far- taking a whole of nearly three days to finish. But DANG IT I finally figured things out and finished it! Hope you enjoy!

All credit for the illustrations goes to @concerningamountofcrows, while the lettering and writing were done by @gremlinscomics!! I edited and lent my voice to do the dialogue, and Epidemic Sound covered the music and sound effects. :)

10/10 absolutely amazing!! I love their comic dubs and I have been excitedly waiting for it to come out ever since they asked for my permission! I AM SO HAPPY!! I LOVED EVERY FREAKIN’ SECOND!!

The voice acting was amazing! And the way the sliced up the comic panels is absolutely perfect! I can really see the care they took in making that video and I’m truly honored! The video itself is a work of art! I hope they decide to do more chapters!
