It’s just the fact that those moments happened. I don’t feel like you acknowledge it at all, and I don’t feel like you ever think about it.

That’s what upsets me, I think. I feel like you fall off a bit when I bring up the past, you stay quiet. You don’t respond to a lot of my emails, really, but those are so important to me. How could they not be important to you if you truly care about me?

It makes me feel like you want to pretend it never happened, like our relationship started safely in a screen this whole time. It didn’t, though, and I think about it everyday. I want you to remember it, too. It’s not fair I’m the only one who has to think about it.

shawn's deep trust of lassiter keeps catching me so off-guard like when he's held captive and lassie and henry both turn up he tries to yell "carlton" not "dad" and when he sees a guy with a gun come into the restaurant he goes straight for lassie and keeps trying to get his attention instead of literally any of the other dozens of cops in the room with them and when he's telling someone to call the police he tells them to ask for lassiter, not jules, not vick, lassiter. like he spends all his time provoking lassie but the second there's danger there's literally no one else he trusts more

Honestly I feel like if Fiddleford fell into the portal instead of Ford, the whole plot of Gravity Falls would've been wrapped up decades sooner.

People forget that Ford needed Fiddleford's help to build that portal. Even with 12 PhDs and a god of knowledge whispering in his ears, Ford couldn't figure it out! And though FF is physically weaker than Ford, he's not exactly useless in a fight; he gets Ford out of trouble numerous times in Journal 3 & TBOB.

Ford traveled the multiverse for over 30 years looking for a way to kill Bill, and it's ultimately still Fiddleford (or rather a happier, healthier version of him) that helped finish the quantum destabilizer. In fact, Fiddleford made not one, not two, but three deadly weapons that were used against Bill, including the one that ultimately ended him (the quantum destabilizer, mystery shackatron, & the memory gun).

...so yeah, he would've been back home in time for dinner.
