I've been following this matter for a while now (a quick search of newspaper articles showed it's been floated since mid last year, and I remember having to use my passport to verify my age on my gmail (it's not the account I use for tumblr, the account has my name in the address, so it's already pretty clearly me, so I was begrudgingly okay with it but am still annoyed my other account now can't watch age restricted youtube videos unless I tie it to my identity)). It's a vexed issue.
The first thing I'd like to point out is that the person quoted in the above post ("I am 100 percent etc") is Keith Pitt, a member of the Nationals who was resources and water minister under Morrison. I feel this is important because while he'd definitely be someone who'd vote in support of the measure, he's not a member of the party in power, let alone a Cabinet minister. His opinion is not necessarily that of the Prime Minister ― Anthony Albanese ― and it makes it seem like what he's talking about is what the government is planning to do.
What is the PM actually saying they'll do?
To be honest, I don't think the government knows yet. From what I can gather, there has been no suggestion by the PM that they would force people's accounts to have their real names. The Age a few days ago reported this:
"Australia’s eSafety commissioner has instead recommended a “double-blind tokenised approach”, whereby information would be provided to a verifying third party that would certify the user’s age to social media platforms without revealing details about the child. The details of the plan are being worked through by a trial of age-verification technologies."
(the "instead" is in reference to the current practice of social media platforms asking people if they over 13, which I'm sure most people realise would stop pretty much no child)
In that same article though they also said "the government has not unveiled key details, including the technology that would be used to keep children out". So I think there is quite a bit of time before anything is going to be written into law.
While I don't think your name will be "slapped onto your tumblr account" (if that does end up being what they do I would actually delete my tumblr, I really do not want that), there is still the question of privacy being invaded in that the government would (I think? I'm not a tech expert in the slightest) be able to connect you to your account.
Keep in mind that we are close to an election (there's been whispers it could be May next year), and this is an issue that (as the Keith Pitt quote shows) both of the major parties seem to mostly agree on. A cynical view is that the PM is talking tough to neutralise the issue so it can't be attacked by the opposition for not protecting children. The fact that both are talking about it does however suggest it will eventually come to pass (unlike other complicated legislation that was touted as 'essential' but then got shelved after being too hard to get through (naming no names i.e. Scomo's religious discrimination bill).
The other point to discuss is that while I really do enjoy people not knowing who I am on tumblr (and people in my life not being able to know I'm on tumblr), I also don't really think kids should be on social media (or at least not in the way they currently are). I avoided social media (I only had a facebook account I barely touched) until I was an adult (and even then I waited a while) and I'm quite glad, mostly because I think I'm a lot more mature. On the other hand, while I didn't interact with people, I grew up in a time when you could browse most platforms without an account, so it's not like I wasn't exposed to things on the internet. And then there's a bit of a moral panic about the internet, which can be a bit overblown at times. But then I'll hear a 14 year old I know mentioning stuff that makes me think he's kind of obsessed with growing muscles and I wonder if he's seeing these sorts of things online. I mean, there's a lot of garbage on the internet. But there's a lot of really useful things too... it's complicated and I'm not settled on an opinion yet.
Kids really do need to learn better internet practices and behaviours, but there are also kids in primary school with social media accounts. I mean, what does a 12 year old do in their life that they need the world to see? (don't answer that it's rhetorical, I'm sure there are plenty of 12 year olds doing interesting things worth showing off, but I mean, beyond messaging friends, 12 year olds don't really need to be communicating with strangers on the internet). Note too it's specifically social media (the definition is given by OP but it's anything where the main purpose is share content or talk to a wide audience of people. Things like games with chat stuff are also being looked into.
I'm also a bit of a luddite and think kids should read more. I'm not actually trying to convince people the ban is good, I'm just thinking aloud here. The whole thing feels rather heavy-handed, brute-force, and there's every chance kids will still find ways around it. I don't think this is the ideal solution, but I do feel there is a problem to be addressed.
But yeah, do tell your local member that you are concerned and want to make sure your privacy is kept safe. Just be aware of who your member is and their/their party's stance (all Labor MPs vote with the party, Liberals and Nationals can vote against their own party, so they may not all be in agreement). The Greens are opposed to it. I am not sure what the teal independents think of it.
You may also want to contact some senators from your state, not just your MP.
As for the contents of the letter, maybe something like:
Dear Mr/Ms/Dr (whatever title they use) surname MP,
I am a resident of your electorate (electorate name). (Maybe say a little bit about yourself, just what you think is relevant to the letter or your arguments).
I am writing to you to discuss the proposed social media ban for children. I am concerned (explain what/why you are concerned).
(Try to keep it brief, but also try to be personal)
State what you want your MP to do. Ask them to reply to your letter.
Sincerely,
your name.
You may want to mail the letter rather than just emailing. This page from Oxfam I just looked up five minutes ago has some nice tips.
Hey Aussies, do you want your real name and ID slapped on your tumblr account? If the answer is fuck no, our gov’s got a upcoming legislation for banning 16 year olds and under from social media even WITH parental consent. And by “Social Media”…
The code defines social media as electronic services that meet the following conditions:
The sole or primary purpose of the service is to enable online social interaction between two or more end users
The service allows end users to link to, or interact with, some or all other end users
The service allows end users to post material on the service
Such other conditions (if any) as are set out in the legislative rules.
So. You know. Just the entire fucking internet. They even named youtube as banned, god forbid kids out in the bush get access to LGBTQ+ communities online when they could be watching adds for sportsbet.
I am 100 per cent supportive of eliminating bullying and fake information from online platforms. The easiest way to do that is to be able to utilise existing laws, and the easiest way to do that is to ensure there are no fake accounts. Your digital, online life is your real life. If you want to make comments, that's fine, but it should be as you, as a verified account. This means everyone knows who it is that makes those comments, that you can be found and prosecuted under existing laws, just as you would if you express those opinions in a newspaper, for example, or you went on to a television station and said something similar.
Contact an Aussie senator about this shit. They’re trying to slide it under all the USpol news.

Hand warmers. Flashlight and extra batteries. Can opener. Matches. First aid kit –
You glance down the handwritten list for the dozenth time that morning, checking and rechecking that you aren't forgetting anything obvious.
Your eyes flicker between the ridiculous amount of supplies scattered across your bed and the three large duffle bags on your floor that you're determined to pack it all into. You know that you are most likely being excessive, but you'd much rather be too thorough than not thorough enough when you're about to be miles deep in the Appalachian wilderness.
Sure, you'd be staying at a relatively civilized campground with restrooms and showers, but this is the first time that you've been camping in years, and your first time ever going camping alone.
A two day road trip there, then six days in the Great Smoky Mountains, and then another two day road trip back to upstate New York.
A much needed ten days of time spent by yourself, seeing as how you haven't gone on anything resembling a vacation in over two years. The last couple years have been nonstop work with very little time for relaxation.
To say that you're excited would be an understatement. Although you find immense fulfillment in the work that you do with the Avengers and can't see yourself doing anything else, you're ready to sit by a warm fire and sleep under the stars without a care in the world.
Just as you've finished packing the second bag and are about to begin on the third, the Bluetooth speaker that your cell phone is paired to begins blasting your ringtone, cutting off the music that you'd been listening to while you pack.
When you grab the phone off of your nightstand and see the name Nick Fury displayed across the screen, a ball of unease immediately forms in the pit of your stomach.
Nick Fury isn't the type to call and chit chat about how your day is going or what shows you've been binge watching. He's the type to call when he wants something done, and wants it done now.
“Hey, Fury,” you greet in a neutral tone as you perch on the edge of your bed. With the phone still connected to your speaker, you place it back down on the nightstand so that you are free to wring your hands together.
“Agent,” Fury's voice booms throughout your room. “I hope I've caught you before you've left the state of New York.”
Godfuckingdammit.
“Uh - yep. I'm still here. Packing up for my trip right now,” you answer, trying your hardest to conceal the irritation in your voice. There's a small voice in the back of your head telling you that you should just lie and say you are already on the road, but you're not stupid enough to lie to Nick Fury.
There's a second, louder voice in the back of your mind screaming at you that you shouldn’t have even answered the phone.
“You know I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm going to suggest you pack a tactical suit and weapon of choice instead of hiking boots and a sleeping bag. We just got word that a vibranium weapons dealer we've been tracking will be receiving a large shipment at a port in Destin tomorrow night. Need you and Barnes on a flight to Florida this afternoon.”
“Florida?” you repeat, unable to hide the shock and disappointment in your tone. “I can't go to Florida right now. I've been planning this trip for months. I put in the notice for my leave–”
“I realize that this is unfortunate timing but I'm afraid that this is non-negotiable, Agent,” he interrupts you in a tone of finality. “If we don't intercept this shipment then these weapons fall into very dangerous hands. With Romanoff and Rogers still in San Antonio until next week, I have no choice but to ask you and Barnes to handle it.”
You exhale an audible, frustrated breath and massage the heels of your palms into your eye sockets. You don't know why you're surprised. It's not like illegal arms dealers take your vacation time into consideration when they plot their dealings.
“Is that understood, Agent?” he asks when you don't respond.
“Yes,” you say as you dig your nails into the flesh of your palm to hold back any further argument. “Yes, I understand.”
“Great. The jet leaves in three hours.”
The line cuts off before you can get another word out.
You groan out loud. Three hours. That doesn't even leave you enough time to feel sorry for yourself.
You look around at the chaotic state of your room before your gaze lands on the already packed duffle bags filled with camping supplies.
You're too annoyed and short on time to care right now, so you empty the contents of both bags back onto your bed and tell yourself that you'll deal with the mess when you get back home. For now, you need to focus on packing the appropriate items for taking down a vibranium arms dealer in hotass Florida.
Beneath all of the disappointment and frustration, there's a glimmer of relief that at the very least it's Bucky who you're being sent on this unexpected mission with. You may not be fond of hot weather, but you are quite fond of him.
••••••
Just as Fury said, the jet departs from the compound at exactly three o'clock. You sit in the aircraft's cabin, reading through a thick file containing all of the information that SHIELD has compiled on Dmitri Petrov's crime empire, ranging from drug smuggling to illegal arms deals.
You are only a few pages into the report and it's abundantly clear why this mission was non-negotiable. Petrov has been getting away unscatched for years - tomorrow night will be the first clear opportunity for a take down since getting on SHIELD's radar.
“Coffee?” A voice snaps you back to reality, making you realize that you're reading the same sentence for the dozenth time. “Three creams, two sugars.”
You look up to find a vibranium hand holding out a disposable cup to you. If the fact that he's committed the way you take your coffee to memory isn't enough to increase your heart rate, his smirk and the crinkles around his blue eyes do the trick.
“Thank you,” you tell him, snapping the folder shut on the table in front of you. “My eyes are on the verge of bleeding.” You take a sip of the coffee - indeed, three creams and two sugars.
He takes the seat directly across from you, spinning the folder around for him to flip through himself.
“We land in less than half an hour and you've been reading this the entire flight,” he says teasingly as he thumbs through the pages. “I think it's safe to say you're prepared.”
He places the file back down, returning his attention to you.
“Just trying to get myself in the right headspace. I didn't know anything about this operation until a few hours ago, you know.”
Not one to complain, you had yet to bring up the fact that your trip had been postponed in order for you to be here. You had talked about the trip on several occasions with Bucky, but you didn't expect him to remember the exact dates that you were supposed to be gone.
Sure - if he was going to be away for over a week, you'd be hyper aware of it until he returned - but you weren't naive enough to think that he would know the exact dates of your comings and goings.
“I know,” he sighs, a sympathetic look on his face. “I was on my way to tell you to have a good trip and to be safe when I got the call from Fury this morning.”
Oh. Your cheeks heat at the casual admission from him.
“I'm sorry about your trip. I know you were really looking forward to it,” he adds sincerely. “I'm going to find extra enjoyment in putting Dmitri Petrov behind bars for causing it to get canceled.”
“You and me both,” you chuckle. “Really though, it's okay. I was bummed, but it's not the end of the world. It can easily be rescheduled once this guy is locked up and we're back home.”
You don't add the fact that you find yourself caring less and less about the canceled trip the longer that you sit here with him.
“There is at least one silver lining to this, you know,” he chimes, leaning forward with his elbows on the table between you. You instinctively lean in closer too, causing the side of your leg to brush against his beneath the table. You wait to see if he'll pull away, and when he doesn't, you leave the side of your thigh resting against his.
“Oh, yeah? And what's that?”
“Petrov’s shipment isn't set to arrive until tomorrow night, and they've sent us down here the day prior. It's not like we have to stay holed up in our hotel room for the next twenty-four hours, right?”
••••••
Bucky's right - there's no sense in locking yourselves inside the hotel room until the time of the weapons deal tomorrow evening, but when you see the hotel room that you'll be spending the next couple nights in, you think you would also be okay with staying inside if you had to.
It's not a five star resort by any means, but in comparison to the dingy roadside motels that you're normally stuck in for missions? This place might as well be a Four Seasons.
It's relatively small, but there's more than enough space for the two of you. There's one full size bed, plus a couch that converts to a futon mattress - the latter of which Bucky insists on taking, giving you the bed. The bathroom is nearly as big as the main room, with a jacuzzi tub that's bigger than three standard bathtubs put together.
And the best part of it? When you open the curtains to the sliding glass door on the backside of the room, there's a clear view of turquoise water and white sand.
“I guess Fury felt a little bad about springing this on me at the last minute, after all,” you sigh as you pull the door open, letting the light breeze pull the smell of saltwater into the room. “Can't say that I’ve been given a beachfront room for a mission before.”
Bucky walks up to stand beside you, leaning against the doorframe and staring out to the ocean.
“It's definitely a step up from the rat and roach infested Motel 6 that Sam and I had to spend three nights in when we were sent to Atlanta for recon last month.”
You shake your head, both cringing and laughing at the memory of him ranting about the motel room as soon as he saw you after returning home.
“It was the size of a fucking capybara. Why are you laughing? I opened the bathroom door and it charged at me–”
A sudden deep rumbling noise snaps you out of the memory and you glance down at your stomach in surprise. You suppose it makes sense that your body is screaming at you to eat - you had such little time to pack for Destin before your flight left that you hadn't even bothered with lunch today.
“How does pizza sound?” Bucky asks with a knowing smirk. “I saw a pizza place just down the street on the way here.”
“Anything sounds good right now,” you sigh, both starving and exhausted from your day of packing, unpacking, re-packing and traveling.
“I'll go grab one for us,” he tells you, pulling the keys to the rental car out of his pocket. “Just stay here and get settled in.”
You don't object, itching to change into comfier, more weather appropriate clothes. When you left the state of New York just a few hours ago, it was chilly outside. Now that you are in eighty plus degree Destin, the sweater and boots that you're wearing have got to go.
You unpack your bag, thankful that you had brought a pair of casual drawstring shorts. You throw them on, along with a tank top. You decide to go ahead and convert the futon from a sofa into a bed, and then search through the hotel room's small linen closet for a set of sheets and a quilt. If Bucky insists on you taking the comfier sleeping option and going to get food for the two of you, you figure the least you can do is make his bed for him.
When he returns, he not only has a large cardboard box containing the pizza, but a plastic bag hanging from his vibranium arm as well.
“Grab a towel and follow me,” he tells you before he's even closed the door behind him.
“Follow you?” You laugh, taken aback by the instructions. “Where are we going?”
You hop up from where you'd been mindlessly scrolling on your phone on the bed, doing as he asked and grabbing one of the complementary beach towels from the bathroom closet.
“Not staying holed up in our hotel room. Remember?”
And with that he pulls the sliding glass door open with his empty hand and exits the room, heading towards the beach that sits directly in the backyard. You don't even take the time to throw on a pair of tennis shoes before practically running after him through the sand.
He comes to a stop when he's a few yards away from where the waves wash up against shore and turns back to look at you. You take it as your cue to spread the towel across the sand at your feet.
He sits down and you follow, the cardboard box nestled between you. He opens it, revealing a pizza that is split down the middle - half your favorite, half his favorite.
“I know it's not a campfire in the Great Smoky Mountains,” he smirks. He digs into the plastic bag and pulls out a drink for each of you, along with some napkins. “But it's the best I could do in our current situation.”
The sentiment leaves you momentarily speechless. You know it isn't a grand declaration of love, and it might not mean as much to some people as it does to you - but you can't remember the last time someone went out of their way just to improve your day in such a simple yet thoughtful way.
Between the pizza, the vibrant pink and purple sky as the sun sinks beyond the ocean's horizon, the sound of the waves and him beside you, you wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now.
“No,” you murmur. “It's not. But it's perfect.”
••••••
The next day, you manage to forget that you're actually on a super important mission taking down a dangerous illegal arms dealer.
The first half of the day feels like an actual vacation - the closest thing you've had to a vacation in a long time, anyway. You sleep in until nearly ten o'clock in the morning - which may not be considered sleeping in for some people, but in this line of work, you've overslept if you're still in bed at eight am.
After waking up thoroughly rested and refreshed, the two of you get brunch and then spend the early hours of the afternoon leisurely strolling at the boardwalk just a short drive from your hotel.
You and Bucky are sitting on a bench eating ice cream when you check your phone for the first time in hours and realize how quickly the day has gone. It's already four o'clock - you're due to be on lookout at the pier where Petrov's exchange will occur soon.
“What's wrong?” Bucky asks when you huff under your breath as you stick your phone back into your pocket. “Nervous about tonight?”
You're not nervous, truthfully. You're fully confident that you and Bucky will be able to handle the job. You've been on countless missions less straight forward than this before, and so has he.
“No,” you shake your head as you take another bite of your ice cream cone. “It's… silly,” you say, waving your hand in dismissal.
“I'm sure it's not silly,” he assures you gently.
You pause, staring at a couple holding hands in the distance as you contemplate your words.
Bucky seems to follow your gaze.
“Today has just been really nice,” you shrug with a small smile. “I almost don't want to go back home.”
From your peripheral vision, you see his face shift to look at you. You continue to eat your ice cream, pretending that his stare doesn't warm you more than the Florida sun.
“We're on the same page then, doll.”
••••••
A few hours later, a feeder ship pulls up to the pier just after dusk.
“We've got eyes on three men,” you say lowly into your communication device. “They're guarding the pier. No sign of Petrov yet.”
“He'll show,” Fury's voice echoes in your ear. “Keep watch until then. Backup is on standby to take him in.” The comm clicks off before you can respond.
“I know there's a lot riding on this going smoothly,” you grumble as you bring your binoculars back up to your eyes. “But sometimes I think he just really needs to get laid.”
You and Bucky are across the road from the pier, concealed by large shrubs and the darkness of the night sky. You've been sitting here as still and silently as possible for well over an hour, before Petrov's men had even arrived to stand guard at the dock.
You really fucking have to pee.
Headlights begin to approach from down the street, and as the vehicle gets closer you're able to see that it's a large, black van.
Totally not suspicious at all.
It comes to a stop close to the boat dock, and a second later Petrov hops out of the driver's seat. You recognize him right away by his shrimpy build and receding hairline.
“I should just take them all out from here and be done with this,” Bucky grumbles from beside you.
“I agree,” you sigh. “But Fury's adamant that Petrov be brought in alive if possible. He’s got an empire behind him that we need to find out as much as possible about. His men, however..” you trail off.
Bucky looks through the scope of his gun, zeroing in on one of the guards.
“Blow a tire on the van first,” you murmur. “So Petrov can't flee.”
“I'll take out these three guards, and then I'll get Petrov and call for back-up. You worry about getting to that ship and taking out anyone inside. Sound like a plan?”
“Easy peasy,” you agree.
Less than thirty seconds later, all three guards have dropped dead and Petrov is frantically running to his van, unaware that Bucky had shot the back tire after killing his guards. You and Bucky emerge from the shrubs, sprinting across the road. He dashes towards Petrov, who freezes and begins shouting curses in Russian when he sees what is running towards him.
Bucky lands a punch to Petrov's jaw as you're running past them, only slowing down enough to not trip over the guard’s dead bodies that are littered across the dock.
You're only a few yards away from the ship when you hear Bucky screech your name. You immediately come to a halt, turning back to see why he could be calling for you.
You see a tall, burly man - someone that you and Bucky hadn't noticed before - sprinting down the dock after you. He raises his arm above his head, his hand holding a rocklike object that he sends barreling in your direction.
It's the last thing you see before everything fades to black.
••••••
The shrill, repetitive beeping of a monitor pulls you out of limbo and back to earth.
You're met with painfully bright, fluorescent lighting that has you squinting your eyes shut before you can make sense of your surroundings.
“Bucky,” you attempt to call out but it sounds like the croak of a lifelong smoker. Your eyes begin to adjust to the harsh lighting, allowing you to see that you're alone in a hospital room. You raise your fingertips to where it feels as if your brain is pulsing through your skull. There's a thick, defined knot on the top of your head that's sensitive to the touch.
Panic starts to take over you. Bits and pieces of the mission start to flash through your mind. Bucky shooting the guards, you running towards the feeder ship when you heard Bucky yell your name and then turning to see –
“Bucky!” You call out louder, your voice still hoarse. You sit up, not hesitating to carelessly yank an IV out of your arm. You're vaguely aware of the fact that you're in only a hospital gown and that blood is now trickling down your left arm, but you don't care.
You throw your legs over the side of the bed, standing up far too quickly. Your vision fades to a fuzzy gray and you're overcome with an intense wave of vertigo as the room spins around you. You grab onto the metal side railing of the hospital bed to keep yourself upright, desperately trying to focus your eyes enough to find the nurse's call button.
“Hi! I'll be to your room in just a moment–” An overly cheerful, feminine voice pours from the speaker a moment after pressing the button.
“What happened? How long have I been here? Where is my–”
The door to your room opens, and you immediately breathe an audible sigh of relief as your last question is answered. He looks as though he could use a good night's sleep, but he is okay.
“What the fuck happened?” Bucky exclaims as he rushes over to where you're still clutching the hospital bed railing for support. You follow his gaze to your arm, seeing that there's now blood all over your gown as well as the white floor around your feet.
“I could ask you the same thing,” you mumble, embarrassed by your current state. He guides you back to the edge of the mattress before walking away to get a towel from the bathroom. “I was worried something happened to you,” you add weakly.
He wipes the blood trail on your skin before using the hand towel to apply pressure to the puncture in the bend of your arm.
“I'm okay,” he assures you delicately. “I had just gone to get some coffee.” He glances at the styrofoam to-go cup that you hadn't even noticed him place on the bedside table when he entered the room.
“How long was I asleep?” You ask, noticing that it's still pitch dark outside. You also notice that he's no longer in the clothes that he wore on the mission - now wearing a pair of loose fitting black sweatpants and a matching hoodie. “What happened?”
“There was another guy in the back of Petrov’s van,” Bucky tenses, still holding the towel to your arm for you. “We were both distracted and he snuck up on you. He hit you over the head with a piece of vibranium and threw you into the water.” His jaw clenches as he recounts what happened, meeting your gaze with a pained look.
“But you saved me,” you finish for him.
“Yes,” he gulps. “I did. But I was almost too late. By the time I knocked out Petrov and killed the man who hit you.. it felt like it took forever to find you in the water. You almost drown–”
He cuts himself off, unable to force the last word out. A nurse enters the room as you open your mouth to offer him reassurance. Bucky holds your gaze for a split-second longer before reluctantly dropping his hold on your arm and turning to take a seat in the room's singular guest chair.
The nurse informs you that they did a CT scan while you were unconscious, and that while you don't have any swelling or bleeding on your brain from the blow, the doctor believes you to have a concussion and tells you that she will need to do an exam now that you are awake before they feel comfortable discharging you.
Judging by the high-pitched ringing that you've heard in your ears since you woke up and the way that you feel dizzy when you even think about trying to stand up, you don't doubt that you're concussed.
An hour later, you've been thoroughly examined and it is confirmed that yes - you are indeed concussed. The doctor discharges you under the condition that you don't drive and that someone keeps a close eye on you for the next twenty-four hours.
“Don't worry,” you hear Bucky tell her when you step into the bathroom to throw on a pair of dry sweatpants, a t-shirt, and cheap shower slides that the hospital had given you to wear back to the hotel, seeing as how your tactical suit and boots are still sopping wet with ocean water. “I'm not letting her out of my sight.”
The nurse who helps you dress gives you a small smirk at his words.
“You're a lucky woman,” she tells you quietly. “He was worried sick until you woke up.”
You avoid her gaze, your cheeks heating. You busy yourself by tightening the drawstrings to the gray sweatpants.
“I am lucky,” you agree. “He's a great partner.”
She raises an eyebrow at the word partner, but doesn't make any further comment.
By the time that you and Bucky make it back to your hotel room, the sun has started to rise.
Bucky all but carries you inside, only letting go of you when you're perched on the edge of the mattress. Your head is still throbbing despite the extra strength ibuprofen that you'd taken before leaving the hospital, and you still can't walk without stumbling from dizziness, but at least the intense ringing in your ears has begun to subside.
You feel tired down to your very bones, but you have no doubt that Bucky is even more exhausted. You'd been unconscious for nearly eight hours during the night, whereas he had been awake the entire time sitting by your bedside.
“You get some rest,” you tell him. You brace your hands against the mattress, preparing to attempt to stand back up. “I smell like a mixture of sweat and fish from being in the ocean, so I'm going to shower off.”
You push yourself off of the bed, and as quickly as you stand, you're sitting back down. The room immediately begins spinning in circles around you, sending a wave of nausea through the pit of your stomach.
“Yeah, not likely,” Bucky huffs lightly. “You can't stand up, and the shower doesn't have a seat. How about we compromise on a bath?”
You give a weak nod, too tired to protest. A warm bath sounds incredible right now.
Bucky retreats to the bathroom, where he turns on the water to fill the tub before returning to help you get up from the bed without toppling over. He secures his flesh arm around your waist and guides you to the closed toilet, where you carefully sit down.
“Do you.. need help undressing? Or..?” He asks hesitantly.
“No,” you breathe with an awkward laugh. “I think I've got it.”
He gives you a quick nod, looking away to give you the privacy to shed your clothes. You carefully tug the oversized t-shirt the hospital had given you over your head, wincing when it brushes against the swollen knot on the side of your scalp. You rise off the lid of the toilet just enough to push your sweatpants down to your ankles.
“Okay,” you murmur, letting him know that you're ready to step into the tub.
He grabs one of your hands in his, and places his metal hand on the small of your back as you step over the side of the large jacuzzi tub and into the water.
Not that you don't trust your other teammates. But with Bucky, it doesn't feel vulnerable.
You're aware of the intimacy of the scenario, but you can't find it in yourself to feel insecure or embarrassed right now - you're sure that's largely due to the concussion, but you think it's also simply because of who you're with.
If it were Sam, or Steve, or anyone else, you know you'd be mortified to be utterly exposed as they help you take a bath. If it were anyone else you wouldn't be taking a bath right now - you would have just gone to sleep and waited until you could fully do it yourself instead of putting yourself in such a vulnerable position.
He lowers you into the water, your entire body instantly relaxing at the warmth. You glance to his face, noticing a faint purple bruise along his cheekbone.
“I'm going to leave the door cracked. I'll be right outside if you need anything. Just let me know when you're ready to get out, okay?”
You don't respond, instead reaching up to his face, where you run your finger along the outline of the bruise. He freezes beneath your touch, his eyes meeting yours.
“Don't worry,” he assures you softly. “It was a lot worse when it first happened. It's already almost gone.”
“I'm sorry,” you whisper. “It happened because of me. I wasn't paying attention as well as I should have been. Should have heard that guy coming.”
“Don't say that.” He places his flesh hand on top of where yours still rests against his cheek and then brings it in front of his lips, his eyes never leaving yours. “You're okay, and that's the only thing that matters now.”
“Mmm,” you hum, staring at his lips that are no more than an inch away from your hand.
“What are you thinking?” he asks, his voice patient and curious.
You hesitate for a brief moment before leaning forward and pressing your lips to the bruise in a featherlight kiss. You pull back, once more resting your back against the tub and giving him a small shrug.
“Just thinking that I wanted to do that. Have for a while.”
He grins, a faint blush taking over the apples of his cheeks.
“Yeah, I'd say you're definitely concussed.”
He then presses his lips to the side of your hand, causing goosebumps to form across your skin despite the warm water that you sit in.
You chuckle, your smile matching his. “I am,” you agree. “But the concussion will go away soon, and I'll still want to kiss you then, too.”
“I hope that you will do just that.”
••••••
One month later
You wake up to the smell of campfire smoke that creeps through the crack in the partially zipped tent.
Despite a thick sleeping bag, multiple blankets, and the plush sweater that you wear, you can't help but shiver.
Something is missing.
You look around the tent, your eyes adjusting to the early morning daylight that filters into the tent.
Someone is missing.
You reluctantly exit your cozy sleeping bag, shoving your wool sock covered feet into your boots and crawling out of the tent.
Bucky is facing away from you, cracking an egg into a pan that is positioned over the fire.
“Good morning,” you murmur as you creep up behind him, wrapping an arm around his midsection. He wraps his own arm around your shoulders, pulling you flush against him and pressing a kiss to your forehead.
“Morning, sleepy head,” he teases softly. “What's on the agenda today?”
“Maybe some hiking, maybe some biking,” you shrug into him. “Maybe a little bit of you keeping me warm in that tent.”
He laughs, more carefree than you've ever seen him before.
“See? It's a good thing that your trip got postponed. What if I wasn't here to keep you warm?”
You raise up to capture his lips in yours, the taste of fresh brewed French press coffee on his breath.
“Remind me to thank Fury for that when we get back.”

The world swirls all around you as you make your way through the deserted and almost dark corridor of the pub. Even though your shoes are rubbing against the floor, you feel as if you are floating in the air.
There are more than a thousand thoughts that are swirling inside your head just like the world around you.
What is happening?
When did you drink so much?
Is it the cocktails or the shots? Must be the shots. Has to be the shots.
But you take pride in the fact that you are still the most sober one in the group - everyone else is a complete mess by now.
And you know you will feel even better if you puke a little.
But first, you gotta find Jungkook.
It has been almost thirty minutes since he has been in the washroom. Given the fact that he is the biggest mess tonight, you are concerned.
As you reach the men’s washroom, you straighten up. The thought of seeing your friend alone for the first time tonight sobers you up a little.
Inhaling a sharp breath, you call his name out loud enough to be heard from inside. You call him once again … then once again but to no avail.
Worry cuts through the delicious buzz making you a little more sober. Suddenly, you don’t feel like floating in the air anymore.
You push the door a little, ready to apologize to anyone who glares at you for entering a washroom that’s certainly not meant for your gender. But thankfully there’s no inside.
You step in.
Now that you are in here, you hear muffled sniffs from somewhere inside the stalls.
“Jungkook?” calling him again, you push the door of one.
“Jungkook?” then another one.
And when you push the third door, you find him couching down on the floor with his head between his knees.
Your heart stops at the scene.
Jungkook is crying as if his entire world has been snatched from him. This is not an exaggeration because Sun Yeong has certainly been the center of his universe … just like once he had been the center of yours.
When he found out she had been cheating on him, things went radio-silent for an entire week. None of you and your friends could reach him no matter how many calls or texts or visits you have showered him with.
Then just two days ago, he popped up at the group chat, asking for a meeting at your regular pub. He said he was fine and wanted to get wasted but with one condition - no one gets to ask what had gone wrong between him and his ex.
You had felt like a lowly, selfish creature of dirt then. You had been happy with the news. That one unresolved crush back from your high school could have a chance of being reciprocated.
You could give it a shot after all these years of convincing and confirming yourself that you have moved on. You could ask him to look at you not only as a high school friend but as a woman who could be a love interest of his.
But while drinking Jungkook declared he will start blind dating with the women his mother chose as his potential future partner.
And his mother - for some reason - has never liked you much.
The light of hope that once flickered inside of you - went out without getting the chance of turning into a raging flame.
You were always glad for not turning yourself into a pathetic little girl in love with your high school friend, you always knew your limits, you always kept him a hand apart - a safe distance.
But right now as you see him all broken - pathetic - vulnerable - you don’t know how longer you can control yourself.
“Jungkook.. Hey. Look at me.” you couch down in front of him not giving a damn about hygiene.
He looks up at you with blood shot eyes, “Y/N..” this is the softest he has ever called your name.
“Y/N.. It hurts so much. It hurts.” Jungkook sobs again.
Even at his worst, he still looks so beautiful that your heart lurches inside your ribcage. His soft, black hair framing his face, his large doe eyes glossy with tears, his soft mouth trembling.
You wish you could kiss him for once.
“I know, Jungkook. But you know, everything happens for a reason. Maybe you will find someone better? Someone who will love you more?” placing a hand on his shoulder, you try to calm him down.
“But I- I Lo-loved her so much. I can’t I just can’t-” he chokes out another sob.
“I know it’s hard. But the sooner you accept that she is not yours anymore, the better it will be for you. I am here. We all are.”
Jungkook doesn’t reply, he stares at you with those eyes.
You suck in a deep breath - somewhat knowing where will this head.
“Y/N” Jungkook breathes on your lips. He is impossibly close to you now.
And then he is kissing you. You kiss him back.
At first the kiss is soft and slow but as time builds - builds the tension.
Jungkook’s kisses turn harsher, angrier, rougher. You know he is trying to take out his frustration through this - on you.
And you are completely okay with that.
Jungkook stands up, pulls you up with him, without breaking the kiss. He pushes you on the wooden partition of the stall.
His mouth travels down the path of your jaw, then throat. His hands start unbuttoning your shirt. Pulling your bra cups down, he gropes one of your tits and twists your nipple.
You moan his name.
His mouth travels further down and reaches your breasts. He takes a nipple inside his mouth, sucking on it deliciously. Your fingers card through his soft shiny hair.
You know this is a one-time thing. You know Jungkook probably won’t even remember any of it tomorrow and that’s better.
If he does remember - you can always blame it on the alcohol.
Even when his hands move to your pants, then inside your panties, then inside you in swift lewd in-and-out motions - you give him access willingly.
You don’t think twice. You don’t think at all.
Because in this world where being loved by the person you love is rare - being touched by them is a luxury.
You will allow yourself this luxury tonight.
In the back of your mind that one song plays in full volume, “I pick my poison and it’s you.”
Yes, just for this one night, you will drink this poison called Jeon Jungkook until you die.

The Alchemy
THE 2020 SEASON
WINTER BREAK London, England, 2020
Formula 1 might be on a break, but university isn’t. I’ve been studying non stop and working all my free time to get extra credit so I’d be able to graduate early, right at the end of spring so I’d have the rest of the year more chilled out.
But being a 21 year old college student, living alone at an apartment at a college campus meant trouble, obviously, and that’s how after long hours of studying at the library, instead of being in my bed catching up on some sleep, I was at a frat house party.
The music was blaring and I was nursing my third drink of night, but in all honesty completely tired now that the alcohol had relaxed me.
I was sitting on the couch, watching my friends dance around me. I grab my phone to get some pictures of them when I notice a new notification.
Lando: what are u up to on a Friday night as a college student?
Lando and I have been texting non stop since the end of the 2019 season, our friendship solidified. We even hung out a couple of times in between Christmas and new years. And now he has been bugging me that I’ve been working and studying too much.
Me: I’m at a frat house party
He instantly replied back.
Lando: YOURE WHERE DOING WHAT
Me: I’m at a frat house party
I smirk to myself as I texted back the same question then before.
Lando: no way, you’re messing with me
I open the camera of my phone, scratching my arm out as I smile hazily before snapping a picture and sending it to him.
Lando: OMG ARE U DRUNK????
Me: yessss
I expected him to make fun of me, but his answer caught me a bit of guard.
Lando: are u alone?
Lando: who’s with u?
Me: my friends are around here somewhere
There a few minutes of silence from his since and I wonder if our conversation is over. He probably fell asleep.
My phone buzzes again.
Lando: how are u going home?
Me: I’ll walk back to my apartment, why?
He’s typing and typing and typing. I bite my lip anxiously, wondering what he’s going to say. Is he going to ask me to let him pick me up? Like in those romance books where the guy picks up the girl from a party when she’s drunk?
Lando: ok
My face falls momentarily.
Lando: I’m not in London
Lando: be careful and text me when you get home safe
I smile, so he was considering picking me up.
Melbourne, Australia, 2020
The world was insane, and I was going insane with it. I was higenyzing my hand every time I touched something. I was in an alert state of the coronavirus.
“They should have canceled the race.” I say, taking a seat with Lando, Carlos and Caco at the McLaren hospitality. “They are saying there are employees who got infected.”
I squeeze hand sanitizer on my hand, rubbing it.
“You’re talking about as if it’s some kind of zombie apocalypse.” Lando chuckles, draping his arm casually over the back of my chair “Relax, they wouldn’t keep up the race if it wasn’t safe.”
Carlos nods “Lando is right.”
I scoff with a tense smile “Oh, but they would. FIA doesn’t care about it, they care about the money. They always have and always will.”
The boys are silent for a moment before Caco nods his head.
“Hamilton and Vettel said something similar during the press conference.” He says “And they’ve been around the same amount of time you have.”
My phone rings and it’s Sophie calling. I quickly brings it to my ear, listening to what she has to say. My frown only deepens when she says two McLaren employees tested positive for covid and that there are more people around the paddock with symptoms as well.
I hang up the phone.
“The teams principals are gathering together to get FIA to cancel the race.” I tell them, watching as both drivers’ faces fall in disappointment “Two McLaren employees tested positive and there are other people around the paddock who are feeling ill as well.”
We gather our things and start to make our way to the McLaren garage, probably the news will get there first if the race is canceled.
I hang back on the group and Lando slows his steps to walk beside me.
“Can’t believe we just got back and we’re already going to leave and be without racing.” He groans, a whine voice a bit high pitched.
“It’s better for it to be canceled and you getting the chance to race again when it’s safer, then getting sick and ending up in the hospital.”
He sighs, shoulders slumping slightly.
“You’re right. I was just excited to give my all at this new season.”
I smile “I know, and you will soon.”
He smiles back at me, nudging me with his shoulder.
“So, are you gonna be able to graduate this spring?”
“I am! I mean, I’ve been doing everything possible for it to happen and I think it will.”
Lando smiles and for a brief moment his fingers brush against mine in a sweet gesture.
“That’s great. I’ll make sure to be there cheering for you at your graduation.”
And my heart flutters at his words.
PANDEMIC  London, England, 2020
“Did I do it right? Are you listening to me?” I ask into the microphone I bought.
Lando’s face show up on the screen of my computer, grinning widely.
“Hiiii! Yes, you did. Now turn on your camera so I can see your face.”
“How do I do it?” I ask, completely lost as I had never used the app discord before. “Oh, never mind, found it.”
“Look at you!” Lando beamed “Are those bunny ears on your hoodie?” I chuckle as I put on the hoodie over my head so he can see the bunny ears “You look adorable! Doesn’t she look adorable, chat?”
I tilt my head to the side, confused.
“Chat? What chat? It’s just the two of us here.”
Lando laughed “I’m streaming, muppet.”
“You’re what?!” I screech “Lando! Why didn’t you tell me we’d be live? I’m in my pijamas!”
He laughs again “You still look adorable and the chat agrees with me.”
I huff, flustered at his words and at the fact that I’m live for god knows how many people while I’m wearing my bunny pajamas. If people didn’t take me serious before, they never will now.
“Now, here’s what we’re going to do.” He claps his hand, a mischievous smile on his face “You’re going to play LOL with me.”
“LOL? But I only know how to play the sims.”
“Yes, you’re going to play LOL. I think it’s the easiest for now.”
As I download the game and start to follow the tutorial, all while sharing my screen with Lando and him judging me at how I can manage to keep dying on the tutorial, I wonder how in the holy hell he managed to convince me to play online with him.
Finally, after an eternity, I finish the tutorial and I start to play with him. Lando keeps instructing me because I don’t even know what buttons to press on my keyboard and he keeps screaming that I’m not running fast enough.
“Oh my God!” I scream “I died! I died!”
Lando laughs delighted.
“My screen is black and white! Why is my screen black and white? Is my computer broken? LANDO!”
That only makes him laugh harder, that infectious laugh of him as I keep yelling questions of what I should do next.
My dad opens the door to my bedroom, peeking his head inside, looking concerned as he calls out my name.
“Are you ok, sweetheart?” He asks, walking further into the room “I can hear you screaming from the living room.”
“Yeah, sorry dad. I’m playing online with Lando and I died.”
My father chuckles, bending down slightly to look at my screen. He smiles at Lando while waving.
“Hello, Lando. Have you been taking care of yourself while quarantining?”
Lando smiles back as he nods “Yes, I have. Your daughter also texts me everyday reminding me what I can and can’t do. It’s like she thinks I will die because I’m living on my own.”
My dad looks amused at me, but he knows I’m right and Lando would have probably set his house or fire by now if I haven’t been instructing him properly on certain things.
My dad pats my head as he stands up straight again “I will leave you kids to it. Take care, Lando.”
“Thank you, Jenson! You too!” Lando smiles. “Now, where were we?”
Later that night, after four hours of online gaming with Lando, I lied in bed scrolling through my social medias. I couldn’t help to read the comments people were making about our live stream together.
Jenson Button worried about Lando I CANT
OMG y/n checking up on Lando daily to make sure he survives
So am I the only one who thinks there’s something there?
She can’t suck on her dads fame anymore bc he’s retired so now she’s going after Norris
I sigh, closing Twitter and putting my phone on the bedside table. People are mean.
Spielberg, Austria, 2020
July and we’re back at Formula 1. The season is being cut short, there won’t be fans attending, but we’re back at racing.
I finished my finals a week ago, just in time to go back to traveling. My dad gave an hour-long lecture about safety and health before finally letting me board the plane.
I haven’t seen Lando and Carlos yet, but I have met uncle Seb who is pissed off at Ferrari for firing him over the phone. I could tell for the way he was talking about meetings and stuff he has to do that he’s plotting something and I couldn’t help but smirk at whatever hell fire he will bring down on Mattia Binotto.
I enter the McLaren garage and I smile underneath my mask as I see Lando talking to his engineer. He turns his head when he hears my footsteps.
He basically bonces on his feet until he meets me halfway.
“Hi!” He says loudly “It’s so good to finally see you in person again!” His eyes are wide “Can I hug you? I want to hug you. I know I probably shouldn’t, but I want to. I haven’t touched anyone in months and and…”
I cut him off with a laugh as I wrap my arms around his middle, resting my head on his chest. Lando brings his arms around me, squeezing me onto his body.
“Hi, Lando. I missed your energetic aura.”
I feel his grin against my shoulder, even with half his face covered in a mask.
“I missed you.” He says back.
He detangles himself from he hug, but keep his hands on my shoulders. He analyzes my face.
“You really do look good with bangs.”
I chuckle, running my hands over the bangs I cut on my hair after a moment of reflection and desperation when I couldn’t leave the house.
“Thank you. It was a moment of… insanity, but at least it looks good.”
He laughs “Oh I know. You texted me like fifteen times saying you did something horrible and it was just bangs.”
I shake my head “Hey, to be fair you called me at two in the morning to ask me how to kill a wasp and I had to wake up my dad to ask him.”
Lando's eyes widened in mock sadness.
“Hey, your dad loves me! I’m sure he was very very delighted to be woken up in the middle of the night to give out instructions on how to kill a wasp.”
I snort out a laugh.
Later that weekend, after the race was finished, I watched as Lando parked his car in p3. It was the first podium of his Formula 1 career. He had been screaming on the radio during the last five laps and I was grinning like an idiot behind my mask.
He got out of the car, helmet still on as he ran to the team, letting them hug him and clap his back. The whole McLaren garage was in a frenzy of celebration.
I’m waiting for him by the parc fermé, to guide him to the podium and then to the press conference room where they interview the winner, second and third place of the race.
Lando takes off his helmet and balaclava and I see his whole face for the first time this year. He has a huge smile on his face as he runs to where I am.
“My first podium!” He yells
I smile “Congratulations, Lando. It was beautiful to watch.”
He wraps his arms around me, jumping around and making me jump with him as I laugh.
“My first podium! Oh fuck! I’m gonna get a trophy!”
I giggle, letting him jump around with me “Yes, you are, Lando, you’re getting a trophy!”
He then stop jumping and just gazed into my eyes, the smile never dropping out of his face.
“Fuck, I’m so glad you’re the one here and not Sophie.”
My heart leaps on my chest.
“I’m glad I’m here, too.”
Silverstone, England, 2020
It was the Silverstone Grand Prix weekend, there were going to be two weekends of races here. My dad had decided to come along since this is his home race and he wants to relive some of the memories.
I walk inside the McLaren hospitality with my dad who is babbling about my graduation to one of the mechanics that have been working here since his driving days.
I hear someone yell my name and I know that voice very well. I turn around and there is Lando, no mask on his face, grinning widely.
“Hey.” I smile back, walking to where he’s sitting
He stands up fast and lifts his hands up, holding a beautiful bouquet of pink flowers.
I gasp in surprise.
“I couldn’t go to your graduation because the attendance was limited, but I couldn’t let it pass by.” He hands me the flowers before enveloping me in a hug “Congratulations, love. I’m very proud of you.”
For some reason his words and sweet gestures make tears gather in my eyes. It’s probably because I was expecting my graduation to be a big even, full of people who I love and cherish and that didn’t happen because of the pandemic.
“Thank you, Lan. This means a lot to me.”
He squeezes me before letting me go. He wipes some of the tears that leaked out to my eyes.
“I know this is a special moment and you wanted it to be a big celebration. We’ll go out to celebrate once things get better, alright? My treat.”
I smile, hugging the flowers to my chest.
“You’re the best, Lan.”
He winked at me.
“Only the best for my best girl.”
My dad stood to the side, watching the scene with a smile on his face. I didn’t know that now, but he took pictures of all of that happening.
Krasnodar Krai, Russia, 2020
Carlos broke the news to the team two weeks ago during our weekly zoom calls. Lando had shut himself out the moment his best friend on the grid said he’s leaving McLaren to go to Ferrari.
He hasn’t been answering my texts or sending me TikToks. He even declined my calls and I was growing not only worried, but annoyed as well.
I knock on his hotel door late at night. My flight had landed an hour ago, I got to the hotel, showered and now here I am knocking on his door.
Lando opens the door, his curly hair disheveled and he’s only in sweatpants.
“You’re not room service.” He says
I glare at him.
“You’ve been ignoring me.” I accuse him, hands on my waist.
“I uh… I’ve been busy…” he stretches the back of his neck “a lot of work.”
“We work together, I know you haven’t been busy.” I glare even harder now “Stop lying to me.”
He stepped to the side and let me inside his room. I walk past him, going to the middle of the room as I stand there with my arms crossed. Lando sits on the bed and looks at me.
“What’s going on with you?” I ask
“There’s nothing wrong with me.” He answered too quickly.
“Lando… you’ve been ignoring me ever since Carlos told us that he’s leaving for Ferrari.”
He grows quiet and looks away from me.
I sigh. “Lando, just because he’s switching teams it does not mean he won’t be your friend anymore. It will be a bit different because you won’t be together all the time like the past two years, but he’s not gonna forget about you.”
He nods. “I know. Carlos already told me all that.”
“Then why have you been ignoring me?” I ask confused. I thought he was isolating because he was sad that Carlos is leaving, but if he’s already on good terms with it, than what’s wrong.
“Because I’m preparing myself from when you leave me as well.” Lando says, he doesn’t look at me, his eyes trained on the carpet floor.
“Wha- What?” I ask completely dumbfounded “What do you mean when I leave you as well?”
He runs a hand through his hair “You’re an intern at the communication department and- and you just graduated from uni. I know you will leave me at the end of the year as well. You’ll move on to much bigger and better things. I’m just… trying to soften the blow of being without you.”
There’s a moment of silence as I process his words. He still won’t look at me and I’m too stunned to speak anything. He’s sad because he doesn’t want to be without me.
Finally, I snap out of it.
“Oh Lando.” I whisper softly, kneeling in front of him and peering up at him. “Lando, no.”
He shakes his head “I know, ok? I’m not dumb…”
I cup his face in my hands to get him to stop talking. He looks at me in surprise and I can see the broken look in his eyes.
“I’m not going anywhere.”
“Please, don’t lie to me.” He whispered brokenly “Just rip the bandaid already.”
“I’m not lying.” I say, catching a stray tear from his eye with my thumb and wiping it away. “McLaren hired me to be their junior PR manager. You would have known that if you haven’t been declining my calls, you muppet.”
He widens his eyes.
“You’re not leaving?”
I shake my head “No. You’re stuck with me.”
Lando breaths out a laugh, resting his forehead against mine as he closes his eyes.
“Oh, thank god. I’m not ready to say goodbye.”
I smile, enjoying our close proximity.
“You don’t have to say goodbye. I’m not going anywhere.”
“Good… good.” He mumbled. “I don’t want you to leave my side.”
We stay like that for a few moments longer, before he helps me stand up from the floor. Lando pats the bed and I soon join him. We lay on opposite sides, he covers us up and we stay in silence, enjoining each other's company as we fall asleep. Right now we don’t need to say anything, everything is understood in the comfortable silence that hugs us.
Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, 2020
It was yet once again the last race of the season.
Lando had a great finish in p5, and although he had a happy smile on his face we took team pictures and toasted, I could see he was sad. This was Carlos's last race as Lando’s teammate. And I could see Carlos was a bit sad as well.
The team principals had gathered together and rented out a club in the city so the party would be just the Formula 1 team and drivers. We had been traveling together all year in the middle of the chaos of the pandemic, so we were all kind of in the same boat, if someone was sick, the odds of everyone else also being sick were extremely high.
I watched from a far as Lewis celebrated his seventh championship. I chuckled as he, Valtteri and Toto started a shot competition between the three of them. Sebastian was chanting chug chug chug and waving his hands around.
I feel the familiar presence of Lando standing beside me as he nurses his drink.
“How was your second year as a Formula 1 employee?” He asks me.
I smile against the rim of my glass. Just one year ago he had asked me the same question, at the rooftop of the VIP lounge at the paddock, hours before the last race of the season began.
“It was weird. My last year as an intern, next year I will have to reinvent myself to be on top of my game.”
“You’re already on the top of your game.” He nudges my shoulder with his arm.
“Yeah, but I still haven’t proved myself here.” I point out.
Lando frowns, turning his body around to look at me. I’m leaning against the wall and now he’s looming over me.
“Have you been getting hate online?”
I give him a weak smile.
“Let’s not talk about this right now. Tonight is about celebrating.”
He’s still frowning and opens his mouth to protest when I cut him off.
“How was your second year as Formula 1 driver?”
He chuckles, probably recalling the same memory from last year. He rests his forearm on the wall right beside my head.
“It was good and weird. I got my first podium ever. I also lost my first teammate…” Lando smiles a bit. “And I got you to be here with me one more year.”
I smile, raising my glass.
“Here’s to another year of Norris and Button traveling around the world together.”
Lando grins, clinking his glass against mine.
“Together.” He repeats.

I did some research.
Below is a map of the number of polling locations affected by the bomb threats in GA (and their general political leaning).
Tumblr media
During election day, at least fifty bomb threats were submitted in the Atlanta area. Thirty-two bomb threats were received in Fulton Co alone (the long skinny county). Gwinnett Co (the light red one) was expected to vote blue this year based on polls.
While investigating the bomb threats, the polling locations were each closed for at least an hour and visibly surrounded by emergency service vehicles and workers. Voters were forced to sit outside and wait during this time, many describing the situation as both scary and inconvenient. It is not a stretch to imagine that people would either leave or just drive past the polling location during this time.
It should also be noted that while employers in GA are required to allow their employees up to two hours to vote, they are not required to pay their employees for this time. It is also not unreasonable to believe that people in these areas simply did not have the time available to wait for a bomb threat to be cleared. Atlanta is an area of wide spread poverty, and the vast majority of people cannot afford the time away from work.
Tumblr media
Here is a population map of GA. These counties are jam-packed with people, voters, who have been suppressed.
Tumblr media
In addition to high populations, these areas are also largely populated by minorities. Take this quote from CNN (https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/05/us/georgia-non-credible-bomb-threat-russia/index.html)
Tumblr media
And finally, Atlanta has the third highest population of LGB people of any other city in the United States.
Tumblr media
And this is only investigating the bomb threats in GA alone. Imagine the scale of voter suppression that happened all across the USA.
Please look at the below infographic. The "Toss Up" states are battle ground states which can end up either going democratic or republican. Its statistically improbable that they all ended up going republican.
Tumblr media
Of those battle ground states, GA, PA, AZ, WI, and MI all received bomb threats at polling locations.
If you have not already, please consider writing to the white house with the topic set to "Election Security". This is unacceptable.
20 million votes have been uncounted

If you need further help in a quick format, here is one, but i urge you to also add in the details for requiring an investigation, not just recount.
I know its a shitty situation and were tired but we still have to try to fight for a life that's worth living.
If you can blaze this post, GO FOR IT!!!

The dynamics between Dan, Danny and Ellie are so funny to consider. Danny is far too used to handling Sam and Tucker at their worst and now he has an additional gremlin duo who picked up whatever madness was in Vlad's system when he decided cloning was a great idea. (Danny is highly aware that it is not a good thing to have more him in the world and has resolved to better avoid clone plots). Meanwhile Dan and Ellie will fight over the most random, inane things, but the minute it's about family they band together into a proper terror and the only beings able to stop them are Jazz in her disappointment if the situation calls for it, and sleep deprived Danny who does not realize his exhausted presence is like a terrifying parental figure catching their kid doing something stupid.
It gets even funnier when Jazz finally breaks out of the mindset that she needs to be in charge and instead enjoys herself, and so the only leash for the three most feral Fentons (honorary and named) is a perpetually tired teen/young adult.
Now drop that in Gotham.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Miyagi meant a lot of things in your life. Growing up, it was always a place you were trying to get away from. A motivator to get yourself to the next stage and off to college—college that was far, far away. You wouldn’t plan on leaving the country, not like your brother had, that change was too much for you. But you could use at least a couple hours between you and the place that you’d always call home.
Growing up in Miyagi meant following your brother to Kitagawa Daiichi for middle school, becoming best friends with the younger sister of his best friend. It meant the two of you then following along with the “volleyball madness” of your elder brothers and once again following them and going to Aoba Johsai for high school. It meant that the two of you became managers for their volleyball team. Miyagi meant you and your best friend being nicknamed “little Iwaizumi” and “little Oikawa,” respectively. Though you’d hated to leave her alone, you’d loved escaping the title of “little Iwaizumi.”
Lately however, you had started to dread your time away. You missed the comfort of being back home, missed your best friend and the fun you used to have together. So, when there was news of a Miyagi volleyball reunion, it was a relief to you.
A ten-year reunion between the old high school volleyball teams, held at and sponsored by Shiratorizawa academy. All the teams you used to watch from the sidelines as a manager during high school.
You guess you could use the word “watch” as a relative term. “Drool over” was probably better used to describe it. You could never talk to your best friend about it because she’s been in the same relationship since middle school, she didn’t understand it. But you? Perpetually single you? Took every chance to drool over the boys from the other schools, the tall and ridiculously well-built boys. Much to the dismay of the boys on the Aoba Johsai volleyball team.
You truly couldn’t count how many times Tooru had begged his sister and you to just pick one of the boys on your volleyball team if you wanted a volleyball player. The two teams in particular that seemed to piss off Hajime and Tooru just so happened to be the teams you watched the most.
It wasn’t like you planned to get the hots for boys from Karasuno and Shiratorizawa. You always did feel bad about it, but you just couldn’t help yourself.
Two boys in particular always drew your attention more than the others.
Tsukishima Kei and Tendou Satori.
It made you feel like an awful manager, an awful little sister, but how could you not look at them like that.
You’d been yelled at when you were caught staring at Tsukishima and berated even further when you were caught with Tendou in your sights next. Begged by your third years that if you had a thing for middle blockers you could go for Mattsun or for Kindaichi and no one would be mad about it. But Kindaichi was too nice for you to think of that way and you hated the prospect of being with someone as close to your brother as Mattsun was.
It wasn’t like anything ever came of the little fantasies that lived in your head though. The little dreams you had of getting one of the tall boys from your rival teams to fall for and fawn over you.
No, you were “little Iwaizumi,” and everyone on the team made sure you wouldn’t be touched.
Even when Hajime and Tooru left, they’d left Kyotani to be your “guard dog” with explicit instructions that no other team was to even look in your direction. And when Kyotani left, he’d passed the torch down to Kunimi and Kindaichi— the traitors held to the rule.
Now, however, ten years after you’d first joined the Seijoh volleyball team as manager, you couldn’t be called “little Iwaizumi” anymore. 25 years old, your brother couldn’t control who got close to you anymore, no one on the team could. They could only complain when they saw your eyes wander.
This reunion really did nothing to calm their stress over you. Not when the two boys who controlled most of your fantasies in high school were in the same room as you now. Not when you had less guilt about who you were drooling over and how that drooling affected others.
Everyone in the room had grown up tremendously, matured in both physicality and mentality.
That did not mean that their competitiveness disappeared, however.
Now, you can’t seem to remember who first proposed the idea, you’re not sure anyone really does, but the volleyball net had been dragged out and three-on-three matches had been on rotation for the last hour. Short single set matches that you’d all elected would end with the first to hit ten points.
You couldn’t remember who first proposed the idea, but god were you mentally thanking them for what it got you right now.
You were leaning on a table, chin propped up on the heel of your palm, sucking down yet another alcohol-filled beverage and staring at the two boys currently only separated by the volleyball net. Both Tsukishima and Tendou had gotten taller since you’d first seen them. Both still all lean muscles and sharp movements. Lazy smirks and their very long fingers that the balls bounced off of.
“Get a hold of yourself Little Iwa," Makki laughed lightly, poking fun at you from his seat diagonal from you at your table.
“Y/n can you fucking stop," Hajime growled at you, annoyed at the way you refused to tear your eyes off of the two boys moving across the court, sending taunts at each other.
“We don’t need our manager getting with one of those losers," Tooru pouted, crossing his arms with a huff. You rolled your eyes quickly but went right back to staring.
“First, I’m not your manager anymore,” you said pointedly at Tooru, and kept talking before he took your small silence as a chance to speak. “Second, I’m just looking, so relax. You all know I’m not going to do anything.” You ignored the grumbles that came from the table.
Your best friend, Oikawa’s little sister was over at another table flirting away with her boyfriend, and you shot her a quick glare. As much as you loved her, she’d left you to deal with the overprotective boys of your team alone.
The three-on-three of your favorite eye candy ended quickly, like most of the matches had been and you watched as your brother and Tooru moved onto the court along with Mattsun.
“You’re real keen on annoying them huh?” Makki gave a laugh without looking away from where his closest friends were starting their game. You rolled your eyes and stood up from your spot, tearing your sight away from where Kageyama and Hinata were taking the side opposite from your boys along with one of their old aces.
You easily finished off what was left of your drink before setting the cup down on the table. “I’m gonna go find a bathroom, now that my guard dogs are busy.”
Makki snorted at your declaration but made no move to stop you from moving towards the exit of the gym. The rest of your team was too invested in the match about to start and barely noticed you slip out. You sighed, sliding the door shut behind you just as you heard them hit the volleyball for the first time.
You breathed in the fresh air, it was a smell you’d missed in the city for college. The light was quickly fading from the sky and the stars were slowly starting to peek out. The air sent soft bumps rising across your skin in response to the temperature change.
You barely noticed the exchange of words sent out in harsh tones until you saw who they belonged to. Tsukishima and Tendou were standing across from each other, words dripping venom as their bodies began to move closer to each other.
The familiar forms of boys about to get into a fight sent your body into an instinctual reaction. Practice built into the fiber of your being from all the confrontation you’d shut down in your time as a manager.
You easily slid yourself between them without a second thought, the flat of your palms finding each of their chests and lightly pushing them apart. They each took a step back, probably from shock rather than the force you’d pushed them apart as you started to ramble off.
“Come on now, no one’s supposed to be actually fighting tonight,” you insisted, closing your eyes and shaking your head lightly. “All fun and jokes tonight and it will not be on my watch that a fight breaks out.”
The slight buzz in your veins from your drinks had you forgetting that who you were spouting off to were not your old Seijoh boys. That they were not the boys you were usually lecturing. That they were, instead, the boys— the men you’d never actually found yourself in a conversation with despite how often you’d dreamed them up. Men who probably didn’t even know who you—
“You’re the little manager from Seijoh, right?” A voice from your left sounded off, deep and smooth, a playful lilt to the tone as it up-ticked on his last word.
“Yeah, yeah," a voice from your right mused, indifference leaking into his words as he acknowledged who you were as well. “Iwaizumi’s little sister, yeah?”
And suddenly the warmth inside your veins from the drinks you’d had seemed to turn into ice, freezing you in your place.
They knew who you were?
The reality of the situation crashed down onto you. You were standing between two men who were much, much bigger than you.
You swallowed hard as you took a step back to have them both in your view at once. Both of them easily towered over you. Even with their slouched postures, their long limbs made height no competition.
You had never seen either of them this close before and you felt yourself try to swallow the ball of nerves suddenly formed in your throat as you stared up at them.
You could see the defined lines of their muscles running across their skin and suddenly you were once again falling victim to all the little fantasies your teenage self had dreamed up all those years ago. You felt your face heat up as they both stared down at you and you quickly realized that you hadn’t responded to either of them.
You, despite your realization, couldn’t force yourself to push out any sort of response. A small pathetic squeak was the only noise that came out as your mind derailed into images of all the times you’d thought of them while you touched yourself.
You had always thought of them separately, however, now here they both were. Standing in front of you. Together.
Your eyes darted between the two of them quickly, your brain trying to force your body to move or your voice to come out, to no avail.
Tendou was the first one to reach out and try to grab your attention. If you had been as observant as Tendou, you would have noticed the way Tsukishima’s eyes had trailed to the bottom hem of your dress, resting on your revealed upper thighs.
Tendou’s smirk was easy as he lifted his hand. You jumped at first contact, his fingers hot as he brushed them along your jaw, lifting it so that you could look at him as he stepped into your personal space. His voice slipped out of his throat easily as his eyes flicked over your features, taking in every small reaction. “What’s wrong little bunny?” His head tilted at the question, smirk forming a mocking pout. “You’re not scared, are you?” The teasing lilt of his voice sent a new layer of goosebumps rushing across your skin as you struggled to reply.
Your attention was stolen as Tsukishima scoffed and stepped next to Tendou, easily swatting away Tendou’s hand and replacing it with his own. Your jaw was turned easily, forcing your gaze to him now. “Is this guy bothering you?” He gave no pause for me to answer his question even if I had my wits about me before he continued to speak, “why don’t you come with me, pretty girl?”
You felt your thighs squeeze together involuntarily and your eyes widened as you looked up at him in shock. Tendou’s laugh seemed to bring not only you, but Tsukishima as well, back to the moment.
As both of their touches left your body, you stood between them again, completely lost as they turned their eyes away from you and, instead, they looked over you. Yet another reminder to yourself of how much bigger they were. You shrunk in your own skin at the intensity they used to stare at each other, but your legs stayed pressed together as you intently watched every twitch of their jaws.
“What?” Tendou laughed at Tsukishima, inviting him to participate In a little game. “Do you think you could reach deeper than me?” You choked on the air trying to escape your lungs and looked up at Tendou shocked, trying to process the taunt that had just left his lips. Tendou had lifted his hand again, he displayed it in front of your face then, wiggling his fingers lightly as if to show me their movement range and length. “Come on bunny, tell me I could go deeper than Mr. Vanilla here.” Mr. Vanilla, a taunt that he’d assigned to Tsukishima back in your first year. A taunt that dared you to say a contradictory statement.
Tsukishima stole your attention again, staring at his fingers brushing down your arm as he wrapped them easily around your wrist. You whimpered as you registered that his fingers were just as long as his current competitor’s.
“Don’t worry, pretty,” you stared in awe as he bent down lightly, bringing his face inches from yours, “I’ll prove him wrong, and then you can be mine.” You swallowed hard again, your eyes flickered over to Tendou as Tsukishaima’s grip tightened on your arm, demanding your attention again. “All mine, right?” His tone screamed ‘condescension’ and your brain and body were melting under the possessive words and touches.
You barely registered your feet following blindly along as the two of them ushered you through the unfamiliar territory of the Shiratorizawa campus towards the dorm rooms. You registered Tendou slipping a key into the door of one of the rooms.
Each of those who came in from out of town for the reunion had been offered up a room in the dorms to stay in for the weekend. Part of the overly generous sponsorship of Shiratorizawa Academy.
Hands brushed against your body easily, wandering touches from both the men, grasping at the thin fabric covering your body. Your head was swimming and you had no idea what to do with yourself.
One of your arms rested on the shoulder of Tendou in front of you as his hands were pushing down the straps of your dress. He was bent towards you, pressing kisses into the left side of your neck and trailing them to your collarbone, sucking marks into your skin.
Your other arm was reaching behind you, hand grasping onto Tsukishima’s hair as his fingers easily were bringing down the zipper on your dress. He was bent towards you as well, sucking his own marks into the right side of your neck.
You were pressed onto your toes in this position, both their hands holding you up to ease their own bending. Your head was stuck in place, head tilted towards the ceiling, your eyes half shut as you let yourself be consumed by the dizzying feeling of their lips and hands on your skin.
“I hate how gorgeous you look," Tsukishima whispered under your ear, his hot breath fanning across the wet marks he’d just left. His tone was heavy and his voice had gotten deeper since entering the room, a shiver forced its way down your spine at his words.
“No idea how much I’d wished I could get your hands on you back in high school," Tendou pushed down the top of your dress, slipping the fabric below your chest as he immediately moved his mouth lower. Delivering hot kisses to the tops of your breasts, he slowed down your processing of his words. Did he just— “I would watch you at games you know.” The words were paired with his mouth latching around one of your nipples. A harsh gasp was forced out of your mouth, your chest arching towards his mouth.
“You have any idea how fucking irritating it was,” Tsukishima pushed the fabric of your dress down lower, past your hips so that it could pool at your feet, his hands immediately finding purchase on your hips, “to know such a cute little thing like you couldn’t be touched?” You felt his fingers tighten across your hips and whimpered lightly as he rolled his own hips harshly into yours.
“Look how small you look between us bunny," Tendou teased and you shrunk in your skin again. Your thighs pressed together hotly only to be knocked back apart by one of Tsukishima’s legs from behind. “It’s so cute how shy you get when we remind you.”
You felt your face heat up even more, the flush spreading down your neck and up your ears. You let out a small noise in the back of your throat as Tsukishima stood back to his full height and pressed his body flush to yours. “What’s the matter, pretty girl?” He was rubbing hard circles into the sensitive skin of your hips and your breathing stuttered as Tendou removed his mouth from your chest.
“You look a little nervous," Tendou teased as he stood back up to his full height, pressing his body into your front. You caught both of them in your eyeline as they gave you predatory stares. They really did make you feel like a stupid bunny who’d been caught by two wolves. Two wolves who were fighting over which one would get to have you for dinner. They were willing to split you in two to win. “We’re just playing a little game.” His voice was playful but his smirk told you that you would not come out of this alive.
“Come on Tendou,” Tsukishima chuckled as his circles continued, forcing your hips to involuntarily jerk into his, “let’s explain to her the game.”
“You get to decide who wins, baby," Tendou cooed in your ear, his fingers finding their way to flick over your nipples, still wet from his mouth, pulling a whine from your throat. “We’re gonna figure out who’s better with their fingers.”
Your eyes widened as you processed Tendou’s words. You looked up at him, his expression was playful, like he was conducting a simple experiment. You had no doubt that he meant every word of what he said.
“Your body decides the winner, really," Tsukishima laughed and you quickly changed the target of your eyes. You felt your eyelashes flutter slightly as Tendou pressed another sloppy kiss to your collarbone. “It’s a game of who can make you cum more," he whispered against the hollow of your ear.
You tensed at the prospect. It was no time to feel shy, standing before the two men in nothing but a pair of panties, but your face heated up nonetheless. The expectations of their fingers and kisses caused your thighs to press together. You could feel the heat pooling in your abdomen, excitement and anxiousness fraying every nerve of yours. You were hyper-aware of Tendou’s fingers trailing down your stomach towards your last remaining item of clothing. Hyper-aware of Tsukishima’s fingers bruising your hips before soothing them, only to do it again.
Tsukishima’s kisses trailed to the front of your neck, your head falling back onto his shoulder as he sucked tiny marks into your skin. Your breathing became weighted and soft moans fell out of your mouth at the overload of touches that you were feeling. “Who’s making you feel this good, pretty girl?” Tsukishima taunted against your throat.
You were fighting against the foggy feeling in your brain, trying to come up with an answer. Truthfully, you didn’t know. You couldn’t pick between the two of them, their smells, the heat coming off them, their touches overwhelming your senses in tandem. You were so focused on trying to get your tongue to form the syllables in your mouth that you didn’t notice Tendou’s movements—not until your body was completely lifted off the ground, your knees being hooked easily over his shoulders.
You gasped loudly at their quick and effortless change. Tsukishima had switched his grip so that he helped suspend you in the air by an arm wrapped around your waist, the rest of your weight being placed on Tendou’s shoulders. Tendou’s grip around your upper thighs came with fingertips digging into the soft flesh of one of your thighs as the other hand easily cupped your ass, kneading into it. Your attention was drawn to the way Tsukishima took up the mantle of handling your nipples, rolling them softly between his fingers before pinching to draw a cry from your lips.
Your attention snapped back to the man between your thighs as he bit lightly into the inside of your thigh. You cried out but the pain was quickly washed over by Tendou’s tongue brushed softly over the bruising skin. “Te-tendou,” you panted out as you looked down at him, Tsukishima’s bites on your neck causing your words to sit heavy on your tongue as you whimpered again.
“No need to be so formal," Tendou teased as he sucked another mark onto the sensitive skin of your hip. You whimpered out, hips pushing towards him against your will as Tsukishima held your upper body in place. “Call me Satori.” He smirked up at you, locking eyes with you before licking lightly up your thigh, closer to your panties.
“Sa-ahh,” you tossed your head back as Tendou interrupted you with a hard press of his tongue, flattening it and dragging it up your core through your panties. Panties that you had no doubt were either already or about to be soaked through—ruined. “Satori, please,” you whimpered, trying to bring your attention back to watch him kneeling there. You tried to take in the sight before you, his bright hair was damp from the match he’d played just half an hour prior. It wasn’t spiked up like it had been back in high school, the soft natural waves were pushed back and out of his eyes. His eyes that were trying to lock with yours, analyzing your every reaction. He pulled back just as you accidentally pushed your hips towards him—having guessed that was what you would do even without your own prior knowledge of it.
“I want to hear you ask me for it,” you could feel his hot breath against your core and you whined. A new wave of heat flushed through your abdomen and you could feel your thighs tensing. By the smirk he wore, you knew Tendou did too. He trained his teeth to bite into your flesh once again. “You smell so good, bunny.”
“Please,” you whimpered out, a fresh flush climbing up your face as you tried to form the question. Tendou hummed against your inner thigh, close to the edge of your panties. Licking teasingly, his tongue just barely brushing under the hem and you cried out in frustration. “Please Satori," you sobbed out, the stimulation Tsukishima had against your chest was nothing close to the amount that your body was begging for. “Satori, want you to eat me out," you begged, your shame only serving to flood your panties more. “Want to feel your fingers in me," you slammed your eyes shut in embarrassment but that didn’t stop you from hearing him.
“Oh ho?” You could hear his smirk in his voice. “What the cutie wants, she gets.”
Your panties were torn easily from your body, the sound of ripping fabric filling your ears. You, however, had no time to react to the sound before you were assaulted with the instant pleasure of Tendou’s hot tongue pressing against your core. The lewd sound of him slurping up your wetness pulling a cry out of your lips as his tongue flicked over your clit.
“This wet from just a few kisses?” Tsukishima shamed you in your ear. You whimpered and nodded, keeping your eyes squeezed shut. “Don’t be mean," Tsukishima commanded, his hand lifting from your chest to tilt your head down. “Look at him when he’s making you feel so good," you whimpered and pulled your eyes open, looking down. Tendou was already looking at your face, a smirk still on his lips as he went to suck your clit into his mouth. “Why don’t you thank him?” Tsukishima laughed as he felt your body tighten up.
You whimpered as you stared down at Tendou. He hummed in content, sending vibrations through your body. “Th-thank you-” the last syllable drawled out of your mouth as you felt Tendou press his tongue into your entrance. Your jaw hung open as your head fell forward, watching him through half-lidded eyes. He pulled away for a second and smirked at the whine that left your body from the lack of contact.
“Don’t thank me yet," he chuckled before latching his lips back onto your clit. The moan that fell from your lips was broken and interrupted by a loud gasp as Tendou slipped one of his long fingers inside of you. You whimpered at the depth, no one had reached that far into you with just a finger before. The arousal pooling in your abdomen, leaked out around his finger and he pulled his mouth just far enough away from you to speak. “You’re so fucking tight, baby," he moaned out the words and immediately pressed his tongue back to your clit. Soft licks making your head dizzy as he pushed in another finger.
The feeling of being stretched by his fingers while he licked dutifully at your clit had moans of need falling unabashedly off your tongue. “Please,” you begged as he started to thrust his fingers into you, his knuckles brushing against your entrance every time he pushed in, “’tori please.” You could feel the tightening in your core and tried to push your hips down into his hand and mouth. Tendou smirked up at you and picked up the pace of his tongue. He pressed harder against your clit, switching between sucking and licking on it, his fingers twisted inside of you and curled towards himself. The thrusts of his fingers turned into stroked as he buried his fingers as deep into you as he could, pressing against your g-spot.
A string of curses fell from your mouth as his pace became unforgiving. Your fingers found a way to curl into his hair, your head falling back onto Tsukishima’s shoulder. “You gonna cum for him?” Tsukishima asked in your ear. You nodded your head frantically, the curses coming louder as the coil curled impossibly tighter. “Cum then, cum like a little slut all over him.” Tsukishima sucked onto the skin under your ear and you felt yourself come undone.
The moan you let out, was more akin to a scream as you felt your body tighten and then relax in rapid succession. Tendou’s pace didn’t let up until your grip on his hair loosened. He chuckled as he pulled his face away from you. Your head lifted slightly to see the mess he sported. His hair was messier than before, sticking up softly from where your hands had just been, the bottom half of his face was slick from a mix of your wetness and his own saliva. Your hips protested as he dragged his fingers out of you, trying to follow him but being held in place by Tsukishima’s arm.
He wiped his face lazily with the neck of his t-shirt and you whined as Tendou brought his fingers to his lips. His tongue darted out as he licked a long stripe up them. “Wanna taste?” He teased, bringing his fingers to your lips as he let your legs drop and stood up. Tsukishima’s grip on you kept your toes a few inches off the ground as your legs dangled. The two still towered over you and your eyes followed to look up at Tendou as his eyes trained on the way your lips parted obediently for your tongue to lick his fingers clean. His fingers lay heavy on your lips as you tasted yourself on them and his eyes glanced over your head to look at Tsukishima. “I think that’s one point for me," he taunted with a lazy smirk on his lips.
You shrieked in surprise as Tsukishima let out a low growl and dropped your body. You fell forward, your shaky legs buckling at the impact of the floor on your feet. Your chest collided with Tendou’s as his free arm wrapped around your waist, supporting you as his other fingers staying on your lips, coaxing your tongue out of your mouth. Tsukishima’s fingers entered you from behind as you were distracted, knocking the breath out of you as his two fingers pressed in easily.
“Fuck," Tsukishima cursed as he spread his fingers inside of you. “You really are fucking tight.” He groaned and your eyes rolled back easily as he started to move them in and out of you. The moan you let out was cut off as Tendou easily shoved his fingers into your mouth, testing your gag reflex. Your eyes snapped open to look up at Tendou to find him staring down at his fingers in your mouth.
Tsukishima’s movements were a contrast to Tendou’s, instead of curling and stroking, he wasted no time beginning to piston his fingers in and out of you. Pulling gargled cries out of you, the stimulation of his fingers so soon after your release had your nerves lighting up and the coil in your core reforming lightning fast. Tendou pressed his fingers in your mouth further and smiled as you tilted your head back for his easier access.
“What a good little bunny,” he praised you and you could feel yourself tighten around Tsukishima’s fingers, a groan leaving his lips in response. Tendou tilted your head back further with his fingers at the front of your throat, forcing you to look up at Tsukishima behind you. “Look how cute you are with those tears in your eyes.”
“You love how big we are don’t you?” Tsukishima taunted, his fingers sending your body tightening along with his words. “How easily we can make you fall apart?” He chuckled as your eyes rolled back, the pressure of Tendou’s fingers on your tongue and of Tsukishima’s pounding into you becoming too much as you fell over the edge again. The only noises you could make came out as lewd gurgles around the fingers in your throat as you came on the fingers inside you. “One for me.”
Tendou’s fingers left your mouth, allowing soft moans to escape from your body as Tsukishima’s fingers didn’t stop moving. You gasped at the sudden intrusion of Tendou’s fingers pressing into you next to Tsukishima’s. Your body was shaking, reeling from the aftereffects of the orgasms that had been ripped out of you in such a short amount of time.
Your mind grew fuzzy, the only thing you could focus on being the way their fingers moved at different paces, both reaching deeper inside of you. The competition of who would be the one to make you fall over the edge. The noises fell out of your mouth as a mix of whines and moans and pleas—for what? You weren’t sure. You were deaf to any words that fell from their lips as you were overwhelmed by them. You felt another orgasm crash over you with no warning, knocking the air out of your lungs and causing your body to seize up.
Their fingers both pulled out of you, all support on your body disappearing. You fell easily out of their arms, trying to gasp air into your body as you fell. Your knees crashed to the ground harshly but you couldn’t be bothered by the pain of the impact when your whole body was still buzzing from the pleasure.
“Aww, bunny," Tendou cooed at you, his hand gripping your chin and tilting your head up. He pulled your bottom lip down lazily as you looked up at him with half-open eyes. “If you wanted to be on your knees for us, you just had to let us know," you whined lightly and watched his thumb as he pulled his hand from your face.
“Look how cute you look down there,” Tsukishima teased, coming to stand in front of you, next to Tendou, “already drunk on us?” He clicked his tongue in disappointment at you and you looked up at him, the need to win his approval clawing at your insides. “You haven’t even seen your prize yet.”
You watched in awe as the two of them shared a small look before they reached for their shirts. A firm grip on the back collar of their shirts and a fluid movement that pulled the fabric over their heads. The sight of their muscles flexing and the reveal of their picture-perfect abs had your mouth hanging open as you stared.
You could feel the light amount of drool collecting in the corners of your mouth as you locked your eyes on their hands and how their long and nimble fingers— the ones that had just been inside of you and making you fall apart— easily undid the buttons on their jeans. Jeans that, until this point, had done a wonderful job of denying you the pleasure of feeling just how hard your positions had been making them.
You could register their voices coming out, but your ears tuned out the actual words as your eyes flicked between the bulges now staring you right in the face. Small wet patches staining the fabric of their briefs. The second their briefs came off, you were pressing your thighs together at the sudden rush of wetness you felt flood towards your core. Your eyes widened as you watched their lengths bob lightly as they were released— thick and long and so so pretty. You couldn’t decide who you wanted to look at more, your eyes flicking back and forth in awe as you were pretty sure some drool started to leak down your lips.
“Come on pretty girl,” a light tap to the side of your face had your ears working again as Tsukishima’s voice came into focus, “which do you think is longer?” You couldn’t answer. Their lengths were both so impressive and from your angle you couldn’t tell if one was longer or not.
Your silence was greeted with Tendou’s taunting voice. “Look at you,” he chuckled and you knew he was wearing a smirk but you couldn’t pull your eyes to look anywhere but the cocks that you wanted so desperately to reach out and touch now, “pretty little slut, so transfixed by a couple of big cocks. Huh, bunny?” You swallowed hard, registering the words but not finding the willpower to do anything but take in the details of their cocks. The pretty veins running along the underside of them, the precum leaking out the tip, the way their hands wrapped around their own bases snugly and supported them in your line of view.
“C’mon baby,” Tsukishima’s voice seemed irritated and his hand tapping on your cheek again, “can’t even answer a little question, can you?” You let out a soft whine, not being able to form words as you watched his hand give his length a languid stroke.
“Aww, that’s okay,” Tendou’s voice came out sweetly as your eyes flicked to see the way he squeezed around his length, more liquid dripping out of the tip, “we can find out who fills her better in a minute.”
And that was what it took to break your trance because— oh fuck. You were going to have to fit those inside of you? You snapped your eyes up to their faces. Predatory smirks graced their lips as they looked at you with narrow eyes.
“They,” You swallowed hard, your voice coming out whiny as you could feel your still-wet eyelashes brush your eyelids, “they’re not gonna fit.” Both of the men in front of you let out a groan as they looked down at you, their eyes filled with the faintest residual of self-restraint.
You didn’t realize how wobbly your lips were until Tendou pulled on your bottom one, steadying it. With his thumb pulling it down, he cupped your jaw with the rest of his hand. “We’re going to make them fit, right?” The condescension flooded his voice as his grip on your jaw made your head nod up and down in affirmation. Your body face heated up again at the implication and you felt your uneven breathing catch in your throat again. “Fuck I wanna ruin you," he mumbled, staring at your wide eyes.
“Look how cute and obedient you are," Tsukishima praised down at you, watching as you started to nod on your own. Your eyes fluttered shut as he ran his fingers gently down your hair. You leaned into his touch as the tips of his fingers massaged into your scalp. He suddenly made a fist and jerked your head back to look up at the two of them. His eyes filled with pride at the cry that was ripped from your lips. “Gonna be a good slut and get our cocks nice and wet?” You nodded easily, not even second guessing the motion as you licked your lips excitedly.
“Senpai first," Tendou teased as he pulled your chin towards his hips. “Open up bunny.” You let your lips part hesitantly, your tongue flicking out to lick softly at the head of Tendou’s cock. You reached your hands out, wrapping one around Tsukishima and one around Tendou, meeting their own hands hesitantly. You let them guide the movements of your hands as you licked again.
You gathered the salty liquid from his tip onto your tongue and glanced up at him to gauge his reaction. His eyes were half shut, watching you carefully as his chest heaved. Heavy pants fell from his lips and you decided to push forward. You stretched your lips carefully around his tip and gave an experimental suck. A soft moan left his lips and you smiled at it. You licked along the bottom of his length as you attempted to take more of him in. You loosened your jaw and started to bob your head. The stretch of your jaw stung but it was worth it to hear the moans fall out of Tendou’s mouth as you moved.
After a few minutes, Tendou groaned and wove one of his hands through your hair. “You trust me right?” You paused your movements and looked up at him, nodding the best you could with your mouth full like it was. His free hand came to unwrap your hand from his length and you let him drop it back to your side. your eyes watched him carefully, your other hand still pumping up and down Tsukishima to the side. “Gonna let me make you a little soppy, bunny?” His question was soft and you nodded hesitantly. His smirk grew and suddenly both his hands were in your hair.
He held your head in place and thrusted into your throat quickly. You let out a strangled squeak, your head instinctually trying to pull back as tears sprung to the corners of your eyes. Both men chuckled above you at the panicked look that filled your eyes before he picked up his thrusting. One of his hands fell to your jaw, keeping it pried open, using his grip on your head to thrust in rougher. The wet sound of your gagging sent both of the men above you moaning and more wetness dripping onto the tops of your thighs.
“Fuck that feels so good baby," Tendou moaned, his head tossing back as he kept up his thrusts. You could feel the drool falling down your chin, the tears from your eyes spilling over onto your cheeks and mixing into the drool.
A second hand in your hair ripped you away from Tendou’s cock easily. Your mouth hung open, strings of saliva connecting your lips to him. You panted, trying to catch your breath, your chest heaving as your tongue hung out of your mouth. You barely had time to take in gulps of air before the emptiness in your mouth was filled by Tsukishima.
Your eyes rolled back easily as he chose to keep his hips still and instead used his grip on your hair to bob your head up and down roughly. Your throat protested at the rough treatment, tightening as he abused it easily. Tears flooded through your eyes squeezed shut but the sounds of their moans kept you in your place. Your nails digging into your palms as you thought about the disgusting amount of pleasure flooding your lower half.
Your head was dizzy as you zoned in on their voices. “You getting off on this little slut?” Tsukishima’s words came out in a mix of groans as he struggled to hide how much pleasure he was in.
“Of course she is,” Tendou’s voice was paired with the wet sounds of him stroking his cock, his fingers gathered some of the drool dripping off your chin, your watery eyes watching as he brought it to aid his motions, “little bunny just loves how much bigger we are.”
You whined around Tsukishima’s cock, the sound coming out wet and gargled. “You love being pushed around by us?” Tsukishima taunted, dragging your lips off his cock and turning your head so that Tendou could push his way back into your mouth. He gave a couple hard thrusts before pulling out again. Each had a hand in your hair, pulling you back and forth. Tsukishima thrusted into your lips again and you fought back a wet sob as you gagged. “Like us using you how we want.”
You gasped desperately as your mouth was freed again, the lower half of your face covered in spit and precum. Tears flowed steadily from your eyes but you kept your jaw held open. “Look so precious crying over our cocks, bunny," Tendou’s voice cooed down at you. Your vision was blurry but your ears were overwhelmed by the sounds of their voices and the moans falling from their lips.
“You wanna be filled up now, pretty girl?” Tsukishima’s taunt cut through to you and you whined around whoever’s cock was stuffed in your throat. Trying your hardest to nod when you couldn’t move much.
“Come on messy girl," Tendou said playfully, and you were pulled away from both of them, gulping in air as you felt the cold air hit your wet face and neck. “Beg for it.”
You whined up at him but did it without thinking. “Please," your voice was hoarse and breathy as you panted out the words. “Want it. Want it so bad," you brushed the back of your hand against your mouth, wiping tears and drool and a little snot away. You sniffled pathetically at how disgusting you felt.
“Want what, slut?” Tsukishima laughed, pinching your cheeks together as you looked up at them. The way they towered over you forcing you to feel the slick on your thighs drip even lower.
“Be specific, bunny," Tendou pouted at you, a small smirk pulling on the corner of his lips.
You whimpered at both of them, the shame filling your cheeks with heat. “Wanna be filled with your cocks please," you begged, sniffling as you looked up at them with wide eyes.
“Aww, cute little bunny," Tendou teased, slapping Tsukishima’s hand away from your face and pulling you up onto shaky legs. “You ask so well, don’t wanna disappoint the cutie.” He placed you back between the two of them, facing you towards Tsukishima and pressing against your back.
You let out a shocked squeak as he lifted you up easily. He wrapped his arms around your thighs easily, gripping onto your elbows to trap you in place, your back flush to his chest and your thighs spread—putting you on display for Tsukishima. You could feel his tip pressing lightly against your entrance, barely pushing in. The stretch was already making your eyes water but you whined for him, trying to push your hips down to no avail, babbling out pleas.
“You ready baby?” Tendou whispered in your ear, his eyes locking with Tsukishima over your shoulder. Tsukishima who had his own eyes trained on where your pussy was clenching around Tendou’s tip begging to be filled. “Want me to go slow?” His voice was teasing and you couldn’t take it anymore.
You shook your head desperately. “Please," you begged, a soft sob coming out of your mouth. “Jus’ want you," your words came out slurred and whiny as you tried to push your hips down onto his. “Need you now,” you cried, “not slow please," you begged. “Wan’ be fucked ‘Tori.”
Tendou chuckled darkly and you felt Tsukishima grip your chin to bring your attention to him. “You asked for it, bunny." Tendou dropped you down quickly, laughing at the scream that tore its way from your throat at the feeling of the intense stretch. Your eyes squeezed shut as you felt the burning pain engulf your body. You felt Tsukishima’s lips press to your cheek, kissing away the tears that streamed out of your eyes. “C’mon bunny,” Tendou whispered in your ear, his voice strained at the snugness of being inside of you finally, “you’re okay right?” His lips pressed to the opposite cheek of Tsukishima’s, kissing softly before licking up some of your tears cruelly. You whimpered in response, trying desperately to relax your body around him so he could move.
“You’re so pretty when you cry, baby," Tsukishima cooed, forcing you to open your eyes and look at him. You could barely focus, your chest heaving up and down as you panted, Tendou’s cock pressing so deeply into you, kissing your cervix, deeper than I’d ever felt anything before. “You said you wanted it, right?” Tsukishima mocked.
You nodded stubbornly. You had. You had said you wanted it. You did want it. Whimpers fell out of your mouth in the form of ‘yes’s. “You can take me, right baby?” Tendou asked, one hand coming up to aid your head in nodding.
“C’mon little one, tell us what you want," Tsukishima prompted, smirking at the glazed-over look in your eye. “Ask for it.”
You whimpered as Tendou moved his hand back into its position on your arm, his breath hot on your neck. “Move please," you cried, pushing through the pain. “Wanna feel you move," you panted as you felt his grip tighten around you. “Please ‘Tori.”
At the sound of his name you felt Tendou’s lips smirk against your cheek. His arms easily flexed to lift you up and drop you back down. You cried out loudly. Babbling out ‘thank you’s and whines as he bounced you quickly. The pain gave way to pleasure at the way he made you feel so full. The friction he built causing the coiling to start.
Tendou’s lips trailed down to your neck, marking it more as he bounced you quicker. Tsukishima, in front of you, caught one of your nipples in his mouth, his fingers catching the other one. Your eyes rolled back, your cries turning into loud moans and curses falling off your tongue. Pleas for more coming out as simple babbles, the words refusing to form properly as your brain tried to process the feeling of being pushed closer and closer to the edge. You couldn’t even tighten around him, too stretched out to, as you felt yourself tipping over the edge.
You came with a scream, your body going limp in his arms. Tsukishima easily pulled you into his own arms. You whined at the feeling of loss as Tendou slipped out of you. You weren’t empty for long, your arms instinctually wrapping around his neck for stability as his cock slipped inside of you. You tried to wrap your legs around his waist, his hands gripping onto your ass as he bounced you up and down. Loud moans fell out of your mouth, Tsukishima’s groans filling your ears.
The stretch that came from Tsukishima hurt just a little less. your mind was dizzy, your eyes blurry as he fucked himself into you. Tendou cooed praises into your ear as Tsukishima got rougher, his hips slamming into yours. The tip of his cock hitting just the perfect spot repeatedly. It was different than Tendou, harder and rougher, he bullied another sobbing orgasm from your body. You screamed out and felt him still inside of you.
You were gasping, every nerve ending on fire, flinching at every small graze from Tendou and Tsukishima’s fingers. You felt Tendou’s hard chest press back against your back and you snapped your eyes to look back up at them.
“You’ve got more in you, right pretty girl?” Tsukishima said softly, commanding your attention, you whimpered at the feeling of his cock throbbing inside of you. “Wanna keep being our good little slut, right?” Your eyes widened as you felt Tendou press the head of his cock against where Tsukishima had already stretched you out.
You whimpered and turned your head slightly to lock your fearful eyes onto Tendou. His darkened eyes looked at your tears hungrily. “It's okay, bunny," the softness of his voice was contradicting the look in his eyes. “You can take us, right?” He coaxed, soft fingers brushing over your lips. “Be our good little girl?” Your eyes glanced between theirs. Their pleading looks had you nodding your head without thinking, giving into their pleas even as you could feel the tears starting again.
“Fuck” and “Good girl” were moaned out simultaneously in your ears as Tendou eased himself in slowly, his cock snug against Tsukishima’s in your tiny entrance.
You let out a wet sob as your head dropped forward against Tsukishima. You felt the tears fall in steady streams from your eyes as you whimpered in pain. Tsukishima’s fingers were gentle as they pressed under your jaw, guiding your chin back up. “You’re so good for us," he praised in a soft whisper, a soft moan following right after. He kissed away some of your tears.
“You’re so pretty crying for us." Tendou’s fingers brushed hair away from your eyes gently, softly turning your face to capture your lips in a gentle kiss. “You still want to take us?” You realized through the fog that the whisper against your lips was a check in. A chance for you to call it quits and find relief from the overwhelming feelings spilling out of you.
You paused for a second, the pain of your lower half screaming at you to stop. But you couldn’t help yourself, not when you had every fantasy of yours right on the verge of coming true. You shook your head adamantly. “Please," you whimpered out, your voice quiet, getting caught in your throat. “Wanna cum on your cocks again," you begged mindlessly. “Want you to make me cry," you sniffled, looking away from both of them. “Feels so good.”
They shared a smirk above your head and without replying, started their brutal assault. Moving at different times, tearing a sobbing moan from your mouth as you came without warning. “Already baby?” but your brain was too fuzzy to recognize whose voice was saying it. You had a hand on each of them, mindlessly clawing at them as they alternated who was filling you. The constant fullness numbing your brain as they took turns hitting into your cervix.
You could feel Tsukishima’s hands gripping onto your ribcage, his thumbs under your breasts. Tendou’s arms were wrapped under your legs again, spreading them to ease their access. You felt Tendou’s fingers brush over your clit, pulling screams of curses out of you as your body convulsed in their arms. “Tell us who’s filling you better baby.” The command filled up your head through their moans. “Who’s making you cum like this baby?”
The realization crashed over you at that comment. The realization that your body was cumming without your permission, without your knowledge, at the onslaught from the two men.
“Fu-fuck, Kei!” You cried out, throwing your head back, “’T-tori," you whimpered as you heard them both let out loud moans. You sobbed again as you felt them both release inside of you, the feeling of their release being so deep inside of you and slowly leaking out around their cocks making your vision go splotchy.
You whimpered as you felt Tsukishima pull out first, his hands still supporting you as Tendou followed after. The sudden feeling of emptiness sent a rush of emotions through your body that you couldn’t quite process. You felt them lower you softly, neither removing their hands from your body, completely supporting your weight. Their fingers rubbed soothingly across your skin, brushing over every bruise and mark they had left on your body.
Soft praises fell from your lips as they tried to help your body calm down. “You did so good for us, bunny," Tendou whispered, soft kisses pressing to your temple.
“You look so pretty when you’re all spent like this," Tsukishima mumbled. With your eyes shut, you relied on their touches and words to keep you grounded.
“Let us help you out, okay baby," Tendou whispered as Tsukishima’s grip left your body. “Just relax, okay," you whimpered at the feeling of a wet towel being pressed to the inside of your thigh. You pulled your eyes open to see Tsukishima there, moving the towel gently as he cleaned up the mess he and Tendou had made of you.
“Come on pretty girl," Tsukishima said softly when he was done, taking your weight from Tendou as Tendou slipped soft fabric over your body. You registered the fabric as the shift Tendou had been wearing earlier.
You were scooped up into Tendou’s arms easily and he set you on the bed, propping you up to sit against him. You whimpered at the movement but was quickly soothed again. “We got you.”
Your head felt light, droopy as Tsukishima pressed a cold glass to your lips. “Drink some water, please.” You let your lips part to sip, the cold liquid soothing the roughness in your throat.
A soft tug on your hair came as Tendou softly brushed out the tangles from your hair. Gentle fingers working against your scalp as you let your eyes fall shut again.
“Your phone is going crazy," Tsukishima warned as Tendou finally let you lay back against the soft mattress. You found yourself gripping onto Tendou’s arm as he laid next to you.
“Let her sleep," Tendou whispered back in warning. “Don’t worry about it, baby," he mumbled into your hair, kissing the top of your head as you could feel your consciousness start to slip away.
You barely registered the sound of the door opening and closing as you snuggled into the warmth Tendou provided. Your phone was long forgotten and irrelevant on the bedside table. You would deal with the consequences later.

This analysis is bad
Trump didn't pick up votes. He got roughly the same number of votes as in 2020
He didn't win new people's votes (on average), Harris just lost people's votes
Sexism doesn't seem to have been a significant factor. Racism probably was and, whilst the exit poll data doesn't specifically demonstrate it, her running as a continuity candidate in times of economic anxiety, and her failing to take a more radical position on Israel likely also led to people voted Biden in 2020 chose not to vote at all
The key problem is that it only looks at %ges, but then tries to make conclusions about the movement of voters, something we'd need absolute numbers (obviously estimated) to determine
The fact Trump won fewer votes already suggests on its own, that Harris lost this election not because people started voting for Trump, but that people who'd previously voted Democrat chose not to vote at all this election (noting that third party candidates would not have swung this election)
To quantify this a little, this election had 2.5% fewer voters than in 2020. With that in mind, the difference between the 59% of Latinos who voted Biden in 2020 and 44% of Latinos who voted Harris in 2024 is significant, but still cannot be assumed to be a result of them moving to Trump
The men/women split in 2024 alone is also not good evidence that sexism was the cause of this issue. Men (on average) vote more right wing than women regardless of the gender of the candidates
It may be that Biden-voting Latinos did not vote Trump in significant numbers but instead that Biden-voting Latinos decided not to vote at all this year much moreso than Trump-voting Latinos did to a much greater extent than other ethnicities
Looking at the 2020 exit polls [link], it looks like Latino men turned out in similar numbers this year (maybe slightly higher), whilst Latino women turned out less. As men consistently vote more right wing than women across all ages and ethnicities, this likely explains it
Instead we need to compare the size of that split this year, with that in 2020:
Tumblr media
In 2020, that split was 11%, whilst this year it was 10%
That suggests that sexism was not actually a major issue, and that the difference in voting between men and women was due to the more general trend for men to be more right-wing than women
Racism is harder to check for, because the NBC exit polls in 2020 and 2024 classified things differently (in 2024 they distinguished white, black, hispanic/latino, asian, and other, but in 2020 they distinguished only white and non-white). We can draw some conclusions from the breakdown by race and gender however
Tumblr media
We can then get the following differences:
White men vs black men: 32% in 2020, 40% in 2024
White women vs black women: 46% in 2020, 46% in 2024
White men vs latino men: 21% in 2020, 6% in 2024
White women vs latino women: 25% in 2020, 25% in 2024
This is consistent with anti-blackness being a significant factor
Unfortunately the data we have from NBC don't let us properly determine other factors, because questions regarding other issues differ too much between the years. Nonetheless, it seems clear that running as a continuity candidate in a time of times of economic anxiety (even if that's largely due to decisions from Trump's first term) didn't help (noting that Republican voters were more likely to list the economy as their top priority than any other, whilst Democrats were more likely to list the state of democracy) and likewise, given the general polling of the US public on Israel, Harris not laying out a more radical foreign policy also likely hurt her again, not in driving people to vote for Trump, but in driving people not to vote at all
Again, Trump didn't gain votes. Harris' campaign just managed to convince Biden-voters not to vote at all
Thoughts on the exit polls…screenshots taken from NBC’s exit poll.
Tumblr media
Men really, really do not want to vote for a woman. I’ve seen this viewpoint branded as TERF rhetoric so lemme just say in advance that I’m non-binary. It is not TERF rhetoric to blame sexism for this loss, and I think we need to confront the ways in which, yes, sexism runs deep with U.S. men and we need MORE feminism, not less.
Tumblr media
Trump did make some inroads among Black voters: 92% went for Biden in 2020. Way more Latino voters shifted, though: 66% voted for Biden in 2020. Asian voters also dropped from 63% in 2020. What on earth could account for the —
Tumblr media
Support among white men dropped from 48% for Biden to 39% for Harris. Support among Black men ticked down very slightly but not much. The biggest change: Latino men went from supporting Biden by 59% in 2020 to 44% in 2024.
Tumblr media
The bottom line: yes, it was the men. Men across multiple races and ages supported Harris less than Biden, and we need to be clear-eyed about that. Unfortunately in the short term I think that means, Absolutely do not run a female Democratic candidate in 2028. Because we can’t even talk about this issue without someone taking exception and wailing “NOT ALL MEN!!”

Hello
Long time follower. Big fan.
Umm i dont have any "real" friends and i feel like i have to vent about what happened to me with someone so plz bare with me.
Yesterday I was sexually assaulted. Outside my own apartment building by a man that is an "aquaintance" at most. I managed to get away by stepping on his foot and elbowing him in the stomach before it went any further. What sucks even more is that I live in a super conservative middle eastern country that has a society that loves to victim blame. I cant even go to the police cuz i have no proof and the sad thing is this the THIRD time in my life of 30 years where i get sexually assaulted. The first time was my cousin when I was 13 and the second time was someone who was a close friend when i was in my 20s. I feel pathetic and cowardly for not speaking up every time it happened. I know I cant tell my family cuz they are religious and all they care about is my "chastity" whatever the fuck that is and i honestly dont know what to do anymore.
Thank you for listening
🪽
hey angel,
i’m so sorry it took me a minute to see this, and honestly, i'm just fkn enraged that you're even in this position to begin with. none of this should’ve ever happened to you, and it’s so beyond messed up that you’ve had to go through it, and more than once, on top of everything else. first, i just want to say that i’m so, so grateful to you for opening up about it, especially when you’re feeling so isolated. it takes so much courage to even put this into words, and i’m honored that you trust me with it at all tbh. as much of an eye roll it is to hear, you’re truly not alone in this. and you’re definitely not “pathetic” or “cowardly” for how things played out or for not feeling like you could speak up before. the way you’re feeling is real, valid, and so understandable—especially when support and safety feel so distant.
it’s beyond unfair to be in a place where victim-blaming is such a huge part of the culture. to have to carry that, while being made to feel like you have to hide this, is an awful weight. but please know, this is not on you—none of it. the guilt and shame that the world tries to put on you is not yours, even if sometimes that feels impossible to believe. grounding yourself in the truth—that you haven’t done anything wrong, no matter how often you have to remind yourself—can be a solid step. and if you believe that for other people who've been in your shoes, then you must believe it for yourself too. ultimately, the shame belongs to the people who assaulted you and a world that hasn’t supported you the way you deserve. please don’t let their actions shape how you see yourself. your survival, your resilience, your courage etc that’s who you are.
there are a few places that might be able to give you some support, even if it’s from a distance. rainn.org offers confidential chat options and resources, and while it’s u.s.-based, it could still be useful if you need a safe space to talk. another is pandora’s project, a support and forum site specifically for survivors. they have spaces where people from all backgrounds, including those with similar cultural challenges, can connect. <3
if you’re open to it, a counselor or therapist who specializes in trauma and works online might be a good option, too. there are so many who understand the importance of privacy and safety in environments where speaking out can be challenging. the International Association for Trauma Professionals has a directory that could help you find someone who’d really get where you’re coming from and respect those unique challenges.
just remember, it’s okay to take this one step at a time. if all you can do today is share this with someone who cares, or offer yourself some compassion and grace to cry and breathe and be pissed and hurt and numb and upset, then that’s more than enough. i believe in your right to feel safe, supported, and heard, and there are people who genuinely want to help you get there, however and whenever you need.
sending you so much love and strength <3 if you need to vent or if you just need someone to talk to, please msg me any time. i understand what it's like to have your boundaries violated too and i know how lonely and painful it is to contend with it in your own head. x

this is strictly my kags bias speaking like I still love all the joys from Kitagawa but.... How do no one notice the change in kags behavior and personality!?
Like from the few scenes we see from kags and oikawa's povs/chapters, as a first year, he appeared shy, quiet, earnest, and very respectful. And while I'm only assuming that Kazuyo started getting sick around his second year and dying sometimes in his third year, how did no one notice this switch?
Not Kindaichi, Kunimi, teammates, or even the coaches when it's there jobs to watch and take care of the children trusted under their care. How did no one notice or question kags becoming sullen, angry, impatient, and more?
Just thinking abt it messes me up bc it's implied his parents and miwa weren't there (often?) so he was really alone most of that time with silence and grief as his main companions, deciding to throw himself wholeheartedly into the one thing that brought his happiness: volleyball

Pokeshipping Week 2024
Prompt 7: Celebrating
Ash was avoiding her.
He had been the one to invite her. Hell, he had paid for her plane ticket! And yet here Misty was, all dressed up, sitting by her lonesome, no Ash or Pikachu in sight.
Okay, maybe she wasn’t alone, alone. Ash’s old local friends from the Pokemon School were all there as well, milling around, dancing, snacking on hors d'oeuvres and sipping on champagne. Lana had insisted she join them at their table, and she had even danced with Kiawe and Mallow for a while after dinner.
The professors and Lei were also there, it had been Lei’s first Manalo Conference appearance, and even though he lost in the first round of the single battles, his parents were so proud, they had been showing him off to everyone all night, much to the kid’s embarrassment.
But yet no Champion in sight.
She knew he was there. She’d seen him bee-bopping around the banquet hall throughout the night, just not anywhere near her, apparently.
She didn’t think he was upset at her or anything. He’d grinned and waved at her after his battle with Hau, who had won the League this year. Their battle had been close, but Ash managed to win it and keep his title for the tenth year in a row. A decade of being the Alola Champion. The whole reason this party was happening at all.
He had been rushed off to talk with the press, so she went back to her hotel to get ready, naively assuming Ash had any interest in spending some time with her during the celebration after insisting she be there.
She was just polishing off her third flute of champagne when a yellow flash out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. She perked up for a moment and scanned the room to try to catch it again, when a soft, familiar whisper filled her ear.
“Meet me outside in five?” Ash asked, sending an embarrassing little shiver up her spine, but by the time she spun around to face him, he had made his way back into the crowd.
~*~
Ash’s back was to her as he casually leaned against the balcony railing, backdropped by the twinkling, tropical, Alola night sky, Pikachu mysteriously missing. Someone had apparently convinced him to put on some nice clothes and forced a comb through his messy hair earlier in the evening, but he had managed to scruff himself back up since then, probably doing something stupid and noble and Ash-like.
He was beautiful.
“I’m not avoiding you,” he told her without turning around.
Misty raised a skeptical eyebrow. “Oh yeah? Could’ve fooled me.”
He turned around finally at that and gave her a crooked little smile. “I’m glad you’re here, Mist.”
Her heart did that stupid thing it always did when he called her that damn nickname, but she joined him at the railing and looked out into the ocean. “You gave me no choice, Ash,” she reminded him. He chuckled at that, but it sounded hollow. “You okay?” she asked. He shrugged.
“Yeah. I mean, I think so. It’s just been a weird day.” He sighed. “I thought this was going to be it,” he admitted, quietly.
Misty blinked in surprise. “It? What do you mean? Like, your last year as Champion?”
Ash nodded, a wry smile on his lips. “Hau did amazing, but Gladion almost had me last year. If he wasn’t challenging the Hoenn League right now, I think he would have taken me out once and for all.”
She studied his profile, looking for a sign in his expression to figure out how he felt about that, but he was intentionally, very carefully neutral.
At her silence, he sighed heavily again. “I love Alola. You know I do. This place is my home away from home. But it’s, you know, still not home like Kanto is home.” He paused for a moment, and ran his hand through his hair before turning to face her again and smirking. “I know Lance is planning to separate the Kanto and Johto Leagues, finally. There will be a whole new batch of Elite 4 positions opening up, and from what I’ve heard, you’re on the short list for one of them.”
“How did you hear about that?” Misty balked. “Lance said that information hasn’t left the Indigo League yet!”
“I have my ways,” Ash said with a grin, and Misty rolled her eyes. Lance was such a blabbermouth. “Lance is going to stick with Johto. You’ll need a new Kanto Champion, too.”
Misty perked up at that, realizing what Ash was getting at with a traitorous little flicker of hope in her stomach. “You want to compete to be the Kanto Champion?”
Ash shrugged a little shyly. “I mean, that had kinda been the idea. I’m not sure I have it in me to be Champion of both Kanto and Alola though. I’m not as young as I used to be.”
“Ash, you’re twenty-two,” Misty reminded him with a snort.
“Exactly! ” he laughed, but his expression quickly turned just a bit somber. “I guess I was just ready to, you know, have an excuse to spend more time at home… Around my favorite people.”
It was hard to tell in the dark, but she was pretty sure he was blushing. She tried not to think too much about that. “Favorite people, huh?” she prompted, bumping into his shoulder.
He smirked. “Yeah. My mom, Brock Tracy… Gary.” He drawled, and she bit back her smile to glare at him, unimpressed, until he finally cracked with a long, loud laugh. “And you, of course!”
“That’s what I thought,” she said haughtily, and after a beat, they both broke into giddy laughter. Once they finally settled down, Misty sighed, and summoning up her courage, she leaned over to rest her head on his shoulder, feeling him tense up at the motion. She forced herself not to think too much about that, either. “It’ll take Lance a while to get everything sorted out, you know. It might not be until next year.”
She felt him hum in acknowledgment more than she heard it, her heart speeding up as she felt his arm drape around her shoulders, and his head gently falling into a rest against her’s.
“Yeah,” he agreed, his voice just barely above a whisper. “I’ve already waited this long. What’s one more year?”

No.1 Part Anthem - Winter x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
be warned, there is smut 13k words
Under the dim lights, Minjeong leaned over her guitar, running her fingers along the strings as she checked the sound for the third time. The low murmur of anticipation filled the bar as people drifted in, and she found herself absently watching the door.
This was another Wednesday night gig at The Velvet Den, a small but popular spot for indie bands in the city. It had a cozy stage with a few beaten-up stools and a dark red velvet backdrop, lending the place its grunge charm. Minjeong knew this bar well—she’d played here with Velvet Starlight almost every week for the past year. Though it was a solid routine, recently, it was starting to feel… flat.
Jimin glanced over with a knowing smirk, a hint of mischief in her eyes as she adjusted her bass strap. “Minjeong,” she started, clearly trying to hide a grin, “don’t tell me you haven’t written anything new yet.”
Minjeong scoffed, brushing her bangs back and giving her an exaggerated eye-roll. “Please, I barely have time for sleep these days. Let alone a muse.”
Yizhuo, who was busy restringing her guitar nearby, chimed in, leaning into the banter. “Or maybe you just haven’t found the right muse yet,” she teased, winking. “Someone to finally get past all those rumors.”
Aeri, ever the instigator, joined in, leaning over her drum kit with a laugh. “C’mon, Minjeong, you can’t pretend you don’t have options. Half the people who come here are just here for you.”
Minjeong waved them off, chuckling. “You’re all ridiculous. Seriously, life’s too boring right now. I wouldn’t even know what to write about.”
They laughed, sharing a look that made Minjeong groan inside. The girls knew her reputation wasn’t true, but they still loved to tease her for it. There was no denying that some fans tried to get close, even if her reserved demeanor was often mistaken for allure. Still, she wasn’t as wild as everyone assumed; if anything, her nights usually ended with late-night jam sessions or scrolling through music playlists until she fell asleep.
Soon, the doors opened, and people began filling in, leaning against the bar and claiming tables close to the stage. The pre-show atmosphere was settling in, a mix of dim lighting and murmured conversations. Minjeong checked her guitar one last time, letting herself sink into the warm familiarity of these moments before a show.
When it was finally time to start, they kicked off with a high-energy track, letting the beat and rhythm wash over the crowd. The girls were in their element, losing themselves in the synergy of their instruments and the hazy lights that moved with the music. Minjeong felt herself slipping into that comforting state where her fingers moved on their own, her focus narrowed to the music.
But as they transitioned to one of their slower songs, a haunting melody that filled the space with a quiet intensity, Minjeong’s gaze drifted past the crowd, scanning the bar.
And that’s when she saw you.
Sitting casually at the bar, framed by the warm glow of the dim lights, was a girl who seemed like she belonged there—yet somehow stood out entirely. She was leaning against the counter, her posture relaxed as she listened to her friends, one hand holding a drink with easy confidence. The soft, smudged eyeliner, dark lipstick, and tousled hair were a perfect combination of bold and effortless. She wore a leather jacket over a white top that hugged her frame, a couple of necklaces layered over her collarbone, glinting with every small movement. She wore a short black denim skirt, paired with boots that looked well-traveled, like they’d been to more places than most people had.
There was something magnetic about her, a calm self-assurance that felt out of reach, and Minjeong felt herself falter for the briefest moment. Her fingers stumbled over a chord, the soft slip almost imperceptible. She recovered quickly, her eyes darting back to her guitar as she forced herself to focus on the melody, even as her heart raced.
But the pull was impossible to ignore. Her gaze kept finding its way back to the girl at the bar. She’d occasionally laugh at something her friends said, her smile both warm and sharp, as if she knew the effect it had. She looked up, glancing around the room, and her gaze landed on Minjeong just for a heartbeat.
Minjeong’s breath caught, her fingers pressing down a bit too hard on the strings, making the note come out harsher than she intended. She softened her touch, mentally cursing herself. She’d performed a thousand times, yet somehow, this girl had her more flustered than she cared to admit.
As the song reached its crescendo, Minjeong chanced another glance, hoping the lights were dim enough to hide the fact that she was, for once, absolutely captivated. And when the girl lifted her drink to her lips, casting a side glance toward the stage, there was a hint of curiosity in her eyes, as if she too had noticed Minjeong’s lingering gaze.
The song came to an end, and the crowd erupted in applause. Minjeong barely registered it, feeling the adrenaline buzzing beneath her skin as they transitioned into their next song. But all she could think about was the girl at the bar—the one who had managed, in a single night, to make her life feel a little less ordinary.
--
Y/N had spent the day carefully cultivating a cocoon of quiet. Her tiny studio apartment was the perfect sanctuary—dim lights, a mountain of blankets, and a carefully curated lineup of comfort movies waiting for her. She’d kicked off her shoes, nestled herself into her coziest pajamas, and piled a ridiculous amount of snacks around her. A perfect night in, with no disruptions.
That was, until her phone buzzed insistently. She ignored it at first, but a second notification appeared, then a third, each accompanied by an enthusiastic vibration. She sighed, glancing at her phone to find her friends, Yunjin and Minji, launching an all-out text attack.
“Come on, you need to get out of that little cave of yours!”
“It’s a crime against girlhood to stay in every weekend, you know.”
Y/N stared at her phone, torn between the pull of her warm, safe cocoon and the lure of a night out that Yunjin and Minji clearly weren’t going to let her skip. She gave in with a groan, quickly typing back a begrudging “Fine, but I’m wearing the first thing I find,” before rolling off the couch and reluctantly swapping her pajamas for a skirt and a simple white tee. She pulled on a leather jacket for good measure and checked herself in the mirror, feeling more or less presentable.
Yunjin and Minji were waiting outside, beaming as if she’d just returned from the dead.
“Told you she’d come out eventually,” Yunjin teased, linking her arm through Y/N’s. Minji flashed a grin, grabbing her other arm as they pulled her into the lively city streets.
They arrived at The Velvet Den, a tucked-away bar with an eclectic crowd and a charmingly rugged vibe. The bar had old-school posters plastered on the walls, low lights casting an amber glow over everything, and the faint, comforting smell of old leather and wood. Y/N had to admit it was the kind of place she might like if she were in the right mood.
As they entered, the beat of a slow, steady song hit her. The music wasn’t just background noise here—it filled every corner, creating an atmosphere that felt almost alive. She glanced at the stage, and her eyes caught on a four-piece band, each member lost in the music. Yunjin led them over to the bar, where they ordered drinks and began shouting a conversation over the music, laughing as they tried to catch up with each other’s words.
But as Y/N settled in, she started to feel something strange—an odd sense of awareness, a prickling on the back of her neck, like she was being watched. The feeling was familiar yet unusual, pulling her from her chat with Minji as she turned, almost instinctively, toward the stage.
And there she was. The lead guitarist, her attention fixed on Y/N with a look that was intense and focused, like she was trying to see through the dim lights and smoke of the bar. She had a quiet but striking beauty—dark eyes under long lashes, loose hair falling just over her shoulders, and a posture that spoke of ease and confidence. She held the guitar like an extension of herself, her fingers moving over the strings in a way that made it seem almost effortless. She was magnetic, the kind of person who could draw attention without even trying, but somehow, her gaze felt direct, almost… searching.
Y/N’s heart stuttered, caught in that gaze like a moth to a flame. They locked eyes for what felt like an eternity before Y/N remembered herself and quickly looked away, hiding her blush behind her drink.
“Hello?” Yunjin waved a hand in front of Y/N’s face, a mischievous grin spreading as she realized what had caught her attention. “Y/N, don’t look now, but I think you’ve got an admirer.”
Minji leaned in, a smirk playing on her lips. “Looks like the guitarist has a thing for quiet girls. Guess you’re exactly her type.”
Y/N laughed, trying to brush off the remark, though her cheeks felt warm. “Please, I’m sure she’s just scanning the crowd. It’s part of the whole mysterious rocker look.”
But her friends exchanged knowing looks, ignoring her attempt at nonchalance. “Uh-huh,” Yunjin said, smirking over the rim of her drink. “Pretty sure she was just looking at you.”
Y/N rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t shake the thought. The guitarist’s gaze had felt so direct, like she’d been picked out from the rest of the crowd on purpose. And even now, as she tried to brush it off, a flicker of curiosity was tugging at her. Who was this girl on stage, with her brooding look and intense presence? Y/N’s fingers drummed lightly on her glass as she tried to refocus on her friends’ conversation, but her gaze kept drifting back.
When she allowed herself another glance, her heart skipped again. The guitarist was still looking at her, her expression caught between a smile and a look of quiet intrigue, as if Y/N had pulled her attention just as much as she’d pulled Y/N’s.
This time, Y/N let herself look a little longer, taking in the way the guitarist moved with the music. Her focus seemed to sharpen whenever her eyes met Y/N’s, each glance filled with a subtle intensity that made it impossible to look away. It was the kind of stare that felt like it meant something, like an unspoken invitation that Y/N couldn’t quite decipher.
The music continued to flow, filling the space between them, and Y/N tried to keep up with the banter from her friends, though her mind kept wandering back to the girl on stage. The way her fingers slid along the guitar, her shoulders relaxed yet focused, the look in her eyes that seemed to promise more than just a passing glance—it was all a little intoxicating, like a faint, buzzing thrill she didn’t want to resist.
--
As the last chord of their closing song faded into the noise of the crowd’s applause, Minjeong felt a strange, urgent energy humming through her. She’d barely made it through the set with her usual focus—she’d messed up twice, fingers slipping on familiar notes, distracted by the image of a girl sitting near the bar with that easy, unbothered confidence.
When the band left the stage, she was practically vibrating with anticipation. She wanted—needed—to see her again, and every second that ticked by felt like forever. But before she could make her escape, the girls intercepted her backstage, each of them wearing expressions that were a mixture of curiosity and barely restrained laughter.
“Minjeong, what was up with those slip-ups tonight?” Jimin was the first to call her out, arms crossed, a playful eyebrow raised. “I thought we were supposed to be the pros around here.”
Minjeong groaned, torn between the thrill of getting out there to find that girl and the embarrassment of being caught so obviously off her game. “I know, I know,” she replied, rubbing the back of her neck. “It’s just—” She hesitated, feeling a bit ridiculous for what she was about to say. But, well, if anyone would understand, it’d be her bandmates.
Aeri looked her up and down, catching on to her hesitation. “Ooooh, did our Minjeong get distracted?” she teased, her voice light, but her smirk was sharper than ever.
Minjeong sighed, trying not to look as flushed as she felt. “I don’t know what to tell you guys. I think… I think I just met the love of my life.”
The room went silent for a second before it erupted into laughter. Yizhuo laughed so hard she almost fell backward, catching herself on Jimin’s shoulder. Minjeong bit her lip, feeling her cheeks heat up even more as the girls practically doubled over, throwing playful jabs her way.
“Love of your life, huh?” Jimin said, trying to catch her breath as she wiped away a stray tear from laughing. “Wow, you’re really going for the hopeless romantic vibe tonight, aren’t you?”
“Wait, wait,” Yizhuo gasped, grinning as she leaned in. “Tell us more. Who’s the lucky girl who stole the heart of the Kim Minjeong?”
“Not that it’s exactly hard to win your heart,” Aeri teased. “But this time sounds serious.”
Minjeong tried to laugh along, but she couldn’t shake the urgency pulling her toward the bar. “Look, I’d love to stay and let you guys roast me, but if I don’t go find her right now, I might actually lose my mind,” she said, a touch of impatience in her tone as she moved toward the door. “Let me go, and I’ll tell you everything later, promise.”
Jimin chuckled, finally letting her go with a pat on the back. “Alright, Romeo, go find your Juliet. Just don’t come crying to us if it’s another ‘tragic romance’ story.”
Minjeong flashed them a quick grin and slipped out of the room, her heart racing. As soon as she entered the main area of the bar, a small group of people noticed her, and almost immediately, she was surrounded. It happened a lot after shows, and usually, she didn’t mind. She’d smile, chat a bit, and enjoy the rush of attention. But tonight was different. Her mind was too busy, too focused on finding that one girl.
“Hey, Minjeong!” someone called, leaning a little too close, hand brushing her shoulder. Another girl wrapped her arm around her for a picture, and a few others were trying to get her attention, voices overlapping, laughter loud and bright.
She tried to be polite, flashing quick smiles, offering a few distracted words, but she couldn’t stay still. She gently brushed off the hands reaching for her, politely excusing herself as she scanned the bar, her eyes searching. She had no idea if the girl would even still be there, but the thought of missing her felt oddly unbearable.
Finally, she made it to the bar stools where she’d last seen her, only to feel her heart sink. There were two familiar faces there, but not the one she’d been hoping for. It was the girl’s friends, the ones who’d been laughing and chatting with her all night.
Yunjin, noticing her approach, raised an eyebrow and shot her a knowing look, her lips twitching into a sly grin. “Looking for someone?” she asked, her tone dripping with amusement.
Minjeong froze for a split second, wondering if she should play it off or admit it, but she quickly decided there was no point in pretending. “Yeah, actually… I am,” she replied, trying to keep her voice casual, but her expression betrayed her eagerness. “Is she—uh, is your friend still here?”
Yunjin and Minji exchanged a glance before they burst into quiet laughter, clearly enjoying the moment a little too much. “She went outside to get some fresh air,” Minji said with a grin, nodding toward the bar’s exit. “Maybe she’s waiting for someone to come talk to her.”
Minjeong’s eyes widened, and she nodded gratefully. “Thanks,” she murmured, barely able to contain her excitement as she turned and practically bolted toward the door.
Stepping outside, she was immediately greeted by the crisp, cool air of the night. She slowed down, catching her breath, and looked around—and there she was. The girl she’d been searching for, leaning casually against the wall a few feet away, bathed in the soft, silvery light of the moon. She seemed lost in thought, her face illuminated by a gentle glow that made her look almost ethereal. Her dark hair caught the light, cascading over her shoulders, and her leather jacket looked even more striking in the dim night, lending her an air of effortless cool that took Minjeong’s breath away.
Minjeong stood frozen, just taking her in, feeling like an idiot for the way her heart raced. She had no idea what to say or how to start a conversation without stumbling over her words, but she couldn’t look away.
And then, as if sensing her gaze, the girl turned her head, her eyes meeting Minjeong’s in that same intense way they had during the performance. Time seemed to slow as they stared at each other, the distance between them feeling both unbearably close and impossibly far.
The girl’s lips curved into a small smile, one eyebrow raised in curiosity as if to say, Well, are you just going to stand there? Minjeong felt a rush of embarrassment and excitement crash over her, but she couldn’t help the goofy grin that tugged at her own lips.
She wanted to say something smooth, something charming, but the words were stuck somewhere between her mind and her mouth. So instead, she took a small, tentative step forward, feeling both exhilarated and terrified. The girl’s smile softened, her gaze warm and steady, and Minjeong felt like she was caught in some kind of spell, the world fading away until it was just the two of them under the stars.
Finally, she managed to find her voice, though it came out a little softer than she’d intended. “Hey,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
--
As the final applause died down and the band disappeared backstage, Y/N could still feel the lingering thrum of the music vibrating through her. She knew she probably looked distracted, but she couldn’t shake the feeling—the energy—of those glances Minjeong had thrown her way throughout the performance. It was as if every time Minjeong looked her way, Y/N could feel the intensity, the pull of it, right down to her bones.
“Hey,” Yunjin nudged her, raising an eyebrow with a teasing smile. “You’re not thinking about anyone specific, are you?”
“Yeah,” Minji chimed in, flashing her a mischievous look. “Maybe someone with a guitar and a pretty face?”
Y/N rolled her eyes, waving them off with a huff. “I’m just going outside for a bit of air. Don’t wait up.” She shot them a playful glare before slipping through the crowd, ignoring their quiet laughter behind her.
Outside, the cool night air washed over her, calming the flurry of emotions she hadn’t expected to feel tonight. Leaning back against the wall, she took a deep breath, staring up at the stars and letting her thoughts wander back to Minjeong. There’d been something magnetic about the way she played, fingers gliding over the guitar, eyes finding Y/N in the crowd like she was the only one there. Y/N had felt those glances linger, like they’d been sharing some unspoken secret all night.
Lost in her thoughts, she almost missed the soft sound of footsteps approaching. It was that feeling again—eyes on her, that strange, invisible pull. She turned her head, and there she was. Minjeong stood just a few feet away, looking at her with wide, slightly nervous eyes, a shy smile tugging at her lips. The moonlight softened her features, casting a gentle glow over her flushed cheeks and messy hair, and Y/N felt her breath catch.
Unable to hide her amusement, Y/N raised an eyebrow, giving her a teasing look as if to say, Well, are you just going to stand there?
Minjeong blinked, caught off guard, before taking a small, hesitant step forward, her fingers fidgeting at her sides. “H-Hey,” she managed, her voice soft and a little shaky. She looked almost… bashful, her gaze darting between Y/N’s eyes and the ground.
Y/N couldn’t help but smile, the warmth in her chest growing at seeing Minjeong so adorably flustered. She’d expected a cool, confident rockstar, but this shy, slightly awkward girl was even more intriguing.
“H-Hey,” Minjeong repeated, laughing nervously as she rubbed the back of her neck. “Um, I don’t usually… do this, but I saw you, and…” She trailed off, cheeks turning even redder. “I just wanted to, you know, say hi.”
Y/N chuckled softly, crossing her arms as she leaned back against the wall. “Just ‘hi,’ huh? I got the impression you had a lot more to say when you were looking at me from the stage.”
Minjeong’s mouth opened, then closed, clearly at a loss for words. She laughed, embarrassed, as her eyes dropped to the ground. “Was it… that obvious?” she murmured, sneaking a glance up at her, looking both mortified and amused.
“Just a little.” Y/N’s teasing smile softened, her tone gentler now. “But I didn’t mind it. I mean, maybe I was looking back once or twice, too.”
Minjeong’s eyes brightened, and she bit her lip, that shy smile coming back as she looked at Y/N with a mix of relief and excitement. “Really?” she asked, voice filled with a kind of innocent disbelief that only made her more endearing.
“Yeah,” Y/N replied, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “I came out here to clear my head, actually. Because of you.”
Minjeong’s breath hitched, and she looked away for a moment, visibly gathering her courage. She took another small step forward, her eyes now steady on Y/N’s, and for a moment, the shy, uncertain expression melted away, replaced by something more confident, more daring.
“I’m really glad I came out here,” Minjeong said softly, her voice carrying an unexpected sincerity. “I was, uh… kind of hoping I might see you again. And, um, maybe… ask you something.”
“Oh?” Y/N felt her heart beat faster, her eyes never leaving Minjeong’s.
Minjeong took a breath, looking almost like she was bracing herself for a big moment. “I was wondering… if I could know your name. I didn’t get a chance to ask while I was… you know, staring at you.”
Y/N chuckled, feeling herself blush despite her best efforts. “Y/N,” she replied, letting the name settle between them like a promise. “It’s Y/N.”
Minjeong’s smile widened, and she repeated it softly, as if committing it to memory. “Y/N,” she murmured, her voice filled with something that made Y/N’s heart skip a beat.
They stood there for a moment, just looking at each other, the quiet of the night wrapping around them. Minjeong took another step closer, her gaze still warm and intent, a hint of mischief sparking in her eyes now. “You know, I don’t usually get this nervous,” she admitted with a small, sheepish laugh, “but… I guess you’re kind of intimidating.”
Y/N chuckled, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow. “Intimidating? Me? I think that’s a first.”
Minjeong laughed, nodding as she looked at the ground, then back up at Y/N. “Yeah, well, you’ve got this… this thing. This presence.” She rubbed the back of her neck, then let her hand drop, finding her confidence again. “And… you’re really beautiful,” she added softly, the words almost a whisper, but filled with a sincerity that made Y/N’s heart flutter.
For a moment, Y/N didn’t know what to say. She felt the warmth spreading in her chest, and all the teasing words she might have said disappeared, replaced by something softer, something real.
“Well,” she said finally, her voice softening, “you’re not too bad yourself, Minjeong.”
The way Minjeong’s face lit up made Y/N’s smile grow. It was like she was seeing every side of her all at once—the confident performer, the nervous girl, and something more vulnerable underneath it all. It was that mix that made Y/N want to keep talking, keep learning about her.
“So,” Minjeong ventured, shifting from foot to foot, but her gaze steady now, “would you… maybe want to grab a drink sometime? Or… I don’t know, talk about all the things I was too nervous to say on stage?”
Y/N grinned, crossing her arms with an amused look. “Are you sure you can handle talking to me without losing your cool?”
Minjeong laughed, the sound soft and a little self-deprecating. “I can try. Besides,” she added, her voice dropping to a murmur, “something tells me you’re worth the effort.”
Y/N’s smile softened, and for a moment, she just looked at her, taking in the way Minjeong’s gaze never wavered, even if her cheeks were still a little pink. “Alright,” she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. “I’d like that.”
Minjeong’s face broke into the happiest, most relieved smile Y/N had ever seen.
--
Back inside, Minjeong and Y/N quickly found their way to Yunjin and Minji, who were laughing and chatting at the bar. Minjeong felt a little thrill when Y/N introduced her, and even more so when her own bandmates strolled out from backstage, the entire group merging into one.
Jimin leaned in with a smirk. “So, this is the girl who made our rockstar here forget her own chords?”
Minjeong flushed, shooting her bandmates a look that only made them laugh harder. But before she could sputter out a response, Yunjin piped up with a bright grin, “Why don’t we all head somewhere quieter? I know a bar nearby with a good vibe, and we can actually talk.”
The group agreed, and soon they were all spilling out onto the street, laughter echoing around them as they made their way down the road. Minjeong hung back with Y/N, a warm, comfortable silence falling between them before they started talking. It felt natural, easy, even as Minjeong's heart still raced from the kiss that lingered on her mind.
As they all headed down the street toward the quieter bar, Minjeong and Y/N fell into step just behind the group, comfortable in the hum of the night. Minjeong glanced over, her curiosity getting the best of her. “So… judging by your style, I’d guess you’re a fan of rock, too?”
Y/N grinned, nudging her shoulder playfully. “Is it that obvious? Yeah, guilty. I got into it pretty young. There’s just something about the raw energy, you know?”
“Totally,” Minjeong agreed, her excitement matching Y/N’s. “That’s why I wanted to start a band. The noise, the chaos—it’s addictive. Arctic Monkeys got me into it, actually,” she admitted with a sheepish smile. “I was obsessed.”
“Are you serious?” Y/N’s eyes widened. “I’m a huge Arctic Monkeys fan! ‘AM’ was like… a soundtrack for my teenage rebellion,” she joked.
Minjeong’s eyes lit up. “Same! ‘Do I Wanna Know?’ is practically burned into my brain at this point. It’s why I even started learning guitar. I wanted to play riffs like that.”
Y/N laughed, her gaze softening. “I knew you had good taste.” She shook her head, looking away for a moment as if gathering her thoughts. “There’s something about the way they capture that… I don’t know, that midnight, gritty feeling. It’s like you’re walking down an empty street with secrets.”
“Exactly!” Minjeong said, her face lighting up. “That’s what I love. It’s like they make you feel a whole mood, even without the lyrics. Just the sound.”
They continued talking about favorite songs and concert memories, swapping stories about late nights spent lost in the music. It felt easy, natural—like they were old friends reconnecting, not two people who’d just met. Their steps slowed, and soon they were trailing behind the others, wrapped in their own little world of laughter and shared nostalgia.
By the time they reached the bar, Minjeong felt more at ease than she had in ages. They ordered a round of drinks, everyone chatting animatedly in little clusters. Minjeong’s bandmates were quick to strike up conversations with Y/N’s friends, which left the two of them with the kind of stolen glances and low laughter that felt almost private in a room full of people.
Jimin, however, was still on a mission to tease her mercilessly. “So, Minjeong, think you’ll be writing a new song anytime soon?” she asked, her tone innocent but her grin anything but.
“Maybe a ballad,” Aeri added with a wink. “Or a love song for that ‘special someone.’”
Minjeong rolled her eyes, the teasing never-ending. “Maybe a metal anthem about having nosey friends,” she muttered, just loud enough to get a laugh from everyone.
Seeing her getting flustered, Y/N’s amused gaze softened. With a grin, Minjeong leaned close, asking, “Wanna get out of here? The dance floor’s calling.”
Y/N’s smile was immediate, and with a soft, “Lead the way, rockstar,” she took Minjeong’s hand. They wove through the crowd toward the dance floor, leaving the teasing glances of their friends behind.
They made their way to the dance floor, where the lights were dimmer, casting everyone in shades of deep red and blue. The music was slower, more sensual than the previous bar’s high-energy beats. As they started to move, Minjeong felt her nerves fall away, replaced by a growing confidence as she focused on Y/N, the rest of the room fading into the background.
They danced, letting the music guide them as they moved closer, their bodies almost touching. Minjeong felt her heart race as she gathered the courage to place her hands on Y/N’s hips, gently pulling her closer. Y/N didn’t resist; instead, she leaned into Minjeong, letting her hands rest on Minjeong’s shoulders, eyes glinting with amusement and something else Minjeong couldn’t quite place but wanted to drown in.
Feeling bolder, Minjeong spun Y/N around gently, her hands guiding her to dance even closer. Y/N tilted her head back to look at her, lips parted as she gazed up at Minjeong with an expression that sent a thrill through her. Time seemed to slow, the music fading into a heartbeat-like thrum in her ears.
They stood like that, breath mingling, eyes locked. Y/N’s gaze flicked down to Minjeong’s lips and back up, her own lips curving in the slightest hint of a smile, a silent invitation.
Not wanting to waste another second, Minjeong leaned down, closing the distance between them. Their lips met, soft at first, hesitant, and then deeper as the world around them disappeared completely. Y/N’s hands slid from Minjeong’s shoulders to the back of her neck, fingers tangling in her hair as she pulled her closer.
Minjeong felt another surge of confidence go through her, so she deepened the kiss. The heat rose in her cheeks as her tongue touched the other girl’s, quick and electric and delicious, then firmer, more determined, more curious about the heat that lay within, seeking to chase down that elusive liquid lightning that reached through both of them. They both pulled away for air with a small pop.
When they pulled back, Minjeong was breathless, a dazed smile spreading across her face. Y/N looked up at her with a similar expression, their foreheads resting together as they caught their breath.
“Well,” Y/N whispered, her voice barely audible over the music, “that was… unexpected.”
Minjeong chuckled, her hands still resting on Y/N’s waist, reluctant to let go. “Good unexpected?” she asked, her voice soft.
Y/N’s lips curved into a smile, and she nodded, eyes glinting. “Very good.”
“How about we get out of here?” Minjeong’s voice dropped an octave. Y/N bit her lips and nodded.
--
Minjeong and Y/N found themselves leaving the bar with the excuse of “fresh air.” The street was quiet, the city lights casting a soft glow as they walked side by side, shoulders brushing with each step. They hardly spoke now; there was an unspoken understanding that grew with every step that led them further into the night.
When they arrived at Minjeong’s apartment, Y/N felt her pulse quicken. The two entered quietly, as if unwilling to disturb the intimate quiet between them. Minjeong led her inside, their fingers brushing lightly, and it felt like a silent invitation. Y/N followed, her eyes tracing the faint outline of Minjeong’s figure in the dim apartment light, each detail accentuated by the calm atmosphere.
In the small, cozy bedroom, they turned to face each other. Minjeong found herself reaching out, her hand gentle as it grazed Y/N’s cheek. There was no need for words; the look in Y/N’s eyes was enough, a mixture of anticipation and something deeper. Slowly, their lips met, softer and slower than before, savoring each lingering touch and deepening the kiss as the seconds passed. It felt like an unraveling—each kiss exploring, tentative, and then firmer.
Their hands began to roam with more confidence. Y/N felt Minjeong’s fingers drift down her back, pulling her closer, their bodies fitting perfectly together. The taller helped Y/N strip off her clothes, being gentle and savoring the moment, until she was only in her underwear. Minjeong looked at Y/N and her breath hitched.
“You look beautiful.” She murmured, making the shorter blush.
“I bet you’d look just as good if you had less clothes on.” Y/N teased. Minjeong stripped off as well in a hurry, almost stumbling as she shook off her pants, making Y/N laugh. Once they were both only in their garments, Minjeong pushed the other lightly onto the bed, before she got on top of her.
Minjeong looked at Y/N’s eyes, both had excitement displayed on them. Leaning down, she captured Y/N lips once again in a passionate kiss. Their tongues grazed against each other, Minjeong’s hand caressing the other’s waist and hips, while Y/N was tangling her hands in her hair.
Minjeong pulled away, earning a whine from Y/N. She let out a soft chuckle, while her hand went up to Y/N bra on her back. She looked at Y/N for confirmation, who only arched her back so that Minjeong could unfasten it. Minjeong struggled a bit, but managed to do it, tossing it to the side, she dipped her head, taking one of Y/N nipples into her mouth, while her hand groped her other boob, her fingers pinching and twisting her nipple. Y/N let out a loud moan, arching her back in appreciation. Her hands went to Minjeong’s back, unfastening the other’s bra, tossing it next to hers in the floor. Her nails left red, angry marks on Minjeong’s well defined back.
“Fuck.” Minjeong muttered, switching to the other breast.
“God, Minjeong. So good.” Y/N panted. Minjeong started to kiss downwards, leaving opened mouth kisses on Y/N stomach. Looking up, she asked for permission with her eyes. Y/N nodded her head.
Using her teeth, she took a hold of Y/N panties and slithered them down her legs. She went up again and kissed the shorter. This kiss was more sloppy, desperate, hands touching whatever part of skin they could reach. Y/N used her hands to slip off Minjeong’s final piece of underwear. The taller suddenly pulled up. Her lips were a bit swollen, and her pupils were dilated.
“Give me a second.” She pecked Y/N lips and stood up. Y/N looked at her leaving figure confused, but waited patiently. While Minjeong was away, she decided to look around the bedroom.
The walls were painted a muted shade of deep blue, making the room feel calm and peaceful, with a few framed black-and-white photographs of bands, abstract art, and scenic landscapes hanging in casual arrangement. There were no flashy decorations, but the minimalistic vibe allowed her personality to shine through in the details. A large window stretched along one side of the room, its sheer curtains slightly drawn, letting in the soft glow of the city lights that filtered through the night. The view was modest but serene.
Minjeong came back, she had a 7 inch black strapon fasted around her hips. Y/N breath hitched.
Holy fuck
Minjeong went on top of Y/N again.
“This is ok with you, right?” Minjeong asked, her hand caressing Y/N’s cheek. Y/N nodded, unable to let out any words.
Grabbing the base of the strap, Minjeong rubbed the tip on the slit a few times, using the wetness as a natural lube, she then pushed inside, inch by inch. Y/N gasped as she reached out to hold Minjeong, her nails once again scratching the taller’s back. She let out a pornographic moan, her eyes rolled to the back of her head. “Shit.” Minjeong groaned, feeling the blunt part of the strap hit against her clit. “You’re so tight, even with how wet you are.”
Y/N nodded, shutting her eyes, which were watery from the pleasure. “Just for you.”
Minjeong started thrusting slowly, wanting Y/N to get used to it. But once the shorter told her to speed up, she did. Her thrust were fast, but she got to a pace where she could hit Y/N spongy spot each time. The moans from the shorter were driving her crazy, she had found her new favorite sound. The room was filled with sounds of skin slapping against each other, Y/N’s moans and Minjeong’s groans of pleasure. The bed was creaking, the post hitting against the wall every time the taller thrusted forward. It smelled of sweat, sex, and perfume; and it was almost mouthwatering for the both of them.
Minjeong grabbed Y/N softly by the neck. “Look at me.” She panted.
The shorter opened her eyes, making eye contact with the other. “I’m coming.” She whined, her hands reaching out to grab Minjeong’s forearms, which were quite strong for her pretty petite form.
“Wait.” The taller groaned. “I want you to come with me.” Y/N nodded, struggling to keep her eyes open. “I’m so close, almost there baby.”
Y/N moaned, she didn’t know how much longer she could hold on. Minjeong was fucking her so good, she felt on cloud 9. “Minjeong. Minjeong, please let me come.” She begged. Drops of sweat were dripping down her.
“Come. Come with me, baby.” The nickname was enough for Y/N to release. She screamed Minjeong’s name, seeing black for a few seconds. Minjeong was just behind her, groaning as she came too. She didn’t stop thrusting, wanting both of them to ride out their orgasm. “Stop. Too sensitive.” Y/N whimpered, making the taller stall her thrust.
Slowly, she pulled out, making both of them moan. Minjeong at the sight of a string of Y/N’s cum connected to the strap, and the shorter one because of the feeling. Minjeong reached down her two middle fingers, rubbing Y/N’s slit and gathering her cum, Y/N shuddered because of overstimulation.
Looking at the shorter in her eyes, Minjeong wrapped her lips around the fingers full of Y/N’s slick, moaning at the taste. Y/N whined at the sight, another shot of cum came out of her, making Minjeong let out a small chuckle. Leaning down, she brushed her lips against Y/N. “How do you feel?”
“Like I went to heaven.” Y/N murmured, a small smile playing on her lips. She cranked her neck up a bit, capturing Minjeong’s lips with her own.The kiss was short, but sweet.
“Give me a second.” Minjeong pulled away and stood up. She walked to the bathroom, only to come out a few minutes later with a warm towel, the strap long gone. She wiped Y/N’s slick with the towel. “There.” She kissed her thighs. “All better.”
“Thanks.” Y/N yawned, feeling the adrenaline go down. With a kiss on the forehead, Minjeong draped the sheets over Y/N’s body and went to put the towel with the dirty clothes. Once she came back, a glass of water in hands for Y/N, she saw the shorter asleep, soft breath coming out in a  rhythmic pattern.
With a smile, Minjeong put the glass on top of the bedside table, and laid down next to Y/N, hugging her in a spooning position. “Good night.” She whispered, kissing her head.
--
Minjeong’s eyes opened slowly, taking in the faint morning light filtering through the curtains. A small weight on her chest made her look down, and she felt a warm sense of contentment as she saw Y/N still peacefully asleep on top of her, her chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm. The memories of the night before played softly in her mind, and Minjeong couldn’t help but smile, feeling the flutter of excitement as she replayed each moment.
As quietly as she could, she slipped out of bed, glancing back one last time to make sure Y/N was still asleep. Her gaze softened as she took in the calm, almost dreamlike scene, the sheets tangled gently around Y/N’s figure. Minjeong tiptoed to the door, an idea forming. She’d make breakfast—a small thank-you for the unforgettable night. It was a romantic idea, though she was slightly aware of her less-than-stellar kitchen skills. Still, how hard could eggs and toast be?
In the kitchen, Minjeong looked around for ingredients, picking up a carton of eggs, bread, and a small handful of strawberries she found in the fridge. She fumbled with the egg carton, trying to crack one egg carefully, but her inexperience showed as half the yolk splattered onto the counter. With a sigh, she attempted to salvage the rest, pouring the little that remained into a bowl and giving it an optimistic whisk.
“Alright, toast… easy,” she muttered, sliding a couple of slices into the toaster. But in her focus on the eggs, she quickly forgot about the toast, not noticing until the faint scent of burning bread hit her nose. “Oh no!” she whispered, pulling it out a second too late. She sighed, shaking her head, but before she could attempt another slice, she felt two warm arms wrap around her waist.
“Good morning,” Y/N mumbled sleepily into her shoulder, her face pressed against Minjeong’s back. “What’s going on in here?”
Startled, the taller yelped, the spatula slipping from her hand as she accidentally touched the edge of the hot pan. A small hiss escaped her lips as she recoiled, cradling her finger.
Y/N’s groggy concern immediately turned to worry. “Oh, Minjeong! Are you okay?” She turned her gently, reaching for her hand and inspecting the small burn with a soft frown. Y/N’s fingertips were gentle as they grazed the spot, her eyes filled with care.
Minjeong chuckled, feeling a little sheepish. “I’m fine. I just… well, I thought I’d make you breakfast.” She gestured to the burnt toast and slightly undercooked eggs. “Clearly, it’s going… fantastically.”
Y/N let out a soft laugh, her smile warm as she grabbed a washcloth, running it under cool water before gently pressing it to Minjeong’s fingers. “I appreciate the effort, but maybe I should take over before you accidentally set my kitchen on fire.”
Minjeong laughed, feeling a rush of warmth as Y/N continued to dab her hand with the cloth. “Good idea. My cooking skills are... a work in progress.”
Once the small burn was tended to, they moved back to the stove. Y/N gave Minjeong a playful nudge. “Here, watch and learn, rockstar,” she teased, sliding a fresh piece of bread into the toaster and cracking a couple of eggs into a bowl. She whisked them with a practiced ease that made Minjeong feel both impressed and slightly jealous.
Minjeong leaned against the counter, watching as Y/N took over with a calm confidence, every movement precise and efficient. They made small talk, Y/N occasionally handing her tasks she was certain Minjeong could manage, like slicing strawberries or sprinkling a pinch of salt over the eggs.
“So,” Y/N said, flipping a piece of toast with a grin, “do you have a favorite animal? Something I should know about you?”
Minjeong smiled, raising an eyebrow. “Dogs, definitely. They’re loyal, energetic, and you know, they just… get me. Plus, they’re adorable.”
“Ah, dogs are cute, but…” Y/N said, pausing for dramatic effect, “capybaras are obviously superior. They’re the most laid-back animals, super friendly. They get along with literally everyone. Have you seen a capybara with an enemy? Because I haven’t.”
Minjeong laughed, crossing her arms in playful defiance. “Okay, they’re cute, but come on—dogs have the whole ‘man’s best friend’ thing going on. They’ll stick by you through anything. And capybaras… can they fetch? Can they protect you from anything scarier than a blade of grass?”
Y/N laughed, raising an eyebrow. “Maybe they can’t fetch, but they’ve got a whole ‘zen’ vibe going on. They’re the ultimate chill friend. Imagine just lounging around with a capybara, no stress, just good vibes.”
Minjeong put on a thoughtful expression, clearly playing along. “Hmm, I don’t know… I still think dogs win. They have that cute tail-wagging thing going for them, you know?”
Y/N shook her head, grinning. “Capybaras have their own charm. And they’re practically zen masters. How can you compete with that level of calm?”
“Fine,” Minjeong said with a smirk, “I’ll concede they’re cool. But dogs will always be number one in my heart.”
Y/N rolled her eyes, laughing as she placed their finished breakfast on the table. “You’re biased, but I’ll let it slide this time.”
They sat down together, the lighthearted conversation flowing as they shared bites of eggs and strawberries, laughing between sips of coffee. The breakfast wasn’t fancy, but it was perfect in its simplicity—an unhurried morning in each other’s company, surrounded by the warm, cozy quiet of Y/N’s apartment. They debated everything from favorite movies to worst concert experiences, sharing stories that filled the space with easy laughter and growing familiarity.
After a while, Minjeong glanced up, her gaze lingering on Y/N. “Thank you,” she said softly, her eyes filled with warmth. “For, you know, helping me avoid another cooking disaster.”
Y/N grinned, reaching across the table to give Minjeong’s hand a gentle squeeze. “Anytime, rockstar. And for the record, I think you make a pretty great breakfast companion.”
They sat there, their hands resting together on the table, the laughter slowly fading into a comfortable silence as they simply enjoyed the moment.
--
As the week unfolded, Y/N found herself spending more time with Minjeong than she had anticipated. It was as if they’d fallen into an unspoken rhythm: stolen moments after work, late-night drives, casual dinners where laughter spilled over plates of food, and quiet, cozy mornings. They were comfortable together, moving with an ease that made Y/N feel like they’d known each other for longer than just a few weeks.
So when Minjeong had invited her to another one of the band’s shows that weekend, Y/N had felt both excitement and a small pang of uncertainty. They hadn’t talked about what they were, or even if there was a “what” to define. Minjeong was still this untouchable, slightly mysterious rockstar to Y/N, someone who lived in a world she didn’t quite understand yet. But when she was with Minjeong, all that fell away, and she felt like she was simply with… Minjeong. Her Minjeong.
Now, it was Saturday night, and Y/N was back in her studio apartment, prepping with her friends Yunjin and Minji. The small space was alive with laughter and conversation as the girls sat cross-legged on Y/N’s bed, surrounded by a scattered pile of clothes, shoes, and beauty products.
“So,” Yunjin said with a knowing look, pausing as she put on her earrings, “are you ready to see your ‘mystery girlfriend’ perform again tonight?”
Y/N’s cheeks flushed as she rolled her eyes. “You guys are too much. And I don’t even know if she’s my girlfriend…”
Minji tilted her head, giving her a skeptical look. “Y/N, please. You’ve practically been joined at the hip all week. If that’s not girlfriend material, I don’t know what is.”
Y/N looked down, a small smile tugging at her lips despite her anxiety. “I just… I don’t know. I mean, we haven’t had any kind of talk about it, you know? We’re acting like a couple, but she hasn’t really said what she wants, and I don’t want to push it if it’s not… that serious.”
Yunjin shook her head, putting a gentle hand on Y/N’s shoulder. “Look, I don’t know Minjeong like you do, but from everything you’ve told us… She’s definitely into you. And, girl, if anyone’s lucky to be with someone, it’s her with you. But you’ll never really know until you ask, right?”
Minji nodded, leaning back against Y/N’s headboard. “Yeah, Y/N. You’re not asking for too much if you want a little clarity. It’s only fair. And look, you’re already putting yourself out there by going to her show tonight. Just enjoy it, and if you’re still feeling unsure, talk to her after.”
Y/N looked between her friends, feeling a wave of gratitude. “Thanks, guys. You’re right… I guess I just have to ask when the time’s right.”
“And in the meantime,” Yunjin said, a mischievous glint in her eye as she rummaged through Y/N’s wardrobe, “we’re going to make sure you look so good that Minjeong won’t be able to look anywhere else.”
With a shared laugh, they dove into picking out an outfit, discarding options with a mix of critiques and approving nods. After trying on a few combinations, they finally settled on a black mini dress that hugged Y/N’s curves in all the right ways. She paired it with a cropped leather jacket and heeled ankle boots that gave her just enough height and an extra edge. Yunjin added the finishing touches with smoky eye makeup, making her dark eyes stand out, while Minji worked on her hair, giving it loose, tousled waves that framed her face.
“Perfect,” Yunjin declared, admiring their handiwork with a satisfied smile. “There’s no way Minjeong’s eyes are straying from you tonight.”
Y/N felt a flush rise in her cheeks as she looked in the mirror. The outfit and makeup were a little bolder than her usual look, but she loved it. There was a quiet confidence that seemed to settle over her, like she could step into this role with all the daring it demanded. She took a deep breath, steadying herself.
As they left the apartment, Y/N couldn’t help but feel a rush of nerves mixed with excitement. They chatted and laughed as they made their way to the bar, their voices blending into the soft sounds of the city around them. When they finally arrived, they joined the steady stream of people entering the venue, Y/N’s anticipation growing with each step.
The bar was packed with people milling about, drinks in hand as they waited for the show to start. Y/N’s eyes immediately scanned the stage, where she spotted Minjeong and her bandmates tuning their instruments and chatting among themselves. Minjeong looked effortlessly cool, her dark hair falling over her eyes as she focused on her guitar, fingers moving deftly over the strings. Y/N felt her heart skip a beat, her lips curling into a small smile as she watched.
“Oh, she’s definitely noticed you,” Yunjin whispered, nudging Y/N with a grin as Minjeong’s eyes finally found her in the crowd. The look that passed between them was soft but charged, as if there was an unspoken understanding, a secret language they’d begun to share.
Minjeong’s gaze lingered, her lips curving into a barely-there smile before she turned back to her guitar, finishing up her pre-show preparations. Y/N felt a flutter of excitement, her friends giggling beside her as they settled into a spot near the stage.
As the lights dimmed and the band took their places, Y/N felt the pulse of anticipation building around her. The music started with a slow, captivating rhythm, the opening notes vibrating through the room, and Y/N felt her entire body respond to the sound. The crowd cheered, and Y/N joined in, her eyes locked on Minjeong as she played, her focus on the music but with occasional glances in Y/N’s direction.
--
The band finished their set to roaring applause, and Y/N clapped along with everyone else, though her heart was beating with a different kind of anticipation. The question that had been lingering all week—the one that haunted her whenever she was alone—was finally too heavy to ignore. Tonight, she was going to find out exactly what Minjeong wanted, no matter the answer.
As the crowd began to disperse and people headed to the bar, Y/N turned to her friends, her hands fidgeting slightly. “I think I’m going to go backstage, you know, to talk to her.”
Yunjin and Minji exchanged knowing glances before giving her reassuring smiles.
“Go for it,” Yunjin said, squeezing her arm. “We’ll be right here if you need us. You got this.”
Y/N nodded, taking a deep breath as she maneuvered her way through the crowded room toward the backstage area. Her heart was pounding with each step, the noise from the bar fading into a soft hum as she neared the back of the venue. Finally, she slipped behind the door marked “Staff Only,” her resolve growing with every stride. This was it. She was going to get the answers she needed.
But as she turned the corner, her steps slowed. Her heart sank at the sight before her: Minjeong was leaning against the wall, laughing softly with another girl. Y/N couldn’t remember ever seeing her before, but she was gorgeous, her long hair falling in waves over her shoulders, and she had an easy, confident way of standing close to Minjeong that sent a strange chill through Y/N.
The girl’s hand was on Minjeong’s arm, her touch lingering a little too long, her body angled in a way that felt… intimate. Minjeong wasn’t exactly pulling away, either, and Y/N felt a painful twist in her chest. She clenched her fists, taking a deep breath as she willed herself to stay calm.
She was just about to step forward, determined to break up whatever was happening, when the girl leaned in and kissed Minjeong. It was brief, but enough—a soft, easy brush of lips that somehow felt like a punch to Y/N’s gut. Her chest tightened, her breaths shallow as the betrayal hit her full force. She hadn’t realized she was gripping her purse so tightly until her knuckles turned white.
A small gasp escaped her before she could stop it, and in that instant, Minjeong broke the kiss, her eyes flickering up. Her gaze locked with Y/N’s, her face shifting from surprise to something that looked a lot like panic.
The realization of what she’d seen—the kiss, the closeness—felt like it echoed through every part of Y/N. She couldn’t take it. She couldn’t stand there, her heart breaking right in front of Minjeong, watching that guilt and regret take over her face.
Before Minjeong could say anything, Y/N turned on her heel, forcing herself to move, each step heavier than the last. She pushed past the door and back into the crowded bar, the lights blurring slightly as she blinked against the sting of tears. She caught sight of Yunjin and Minji by the bar, their smiles fading the moment they saw her face.
"Y/N, hey, what happened?" Minji’s voice was gentle, her hand reaching out to steady Y/N.
The words caught in her throat, and she forced out a bitter, trembling laugh. "Nothing, just… Minjeong kissing another girl," she managed, the words tasting sour. Her voice wavered, and she couldn’t bear the pitying look on her friends’ faces. She didn’t want to explain, didn’t want to relive that moment any more than she already was.
Her heart was racing as she pushed through the crowded bar toward the exit, desperate to be anywhere else. The cool air hit her face, grounding her slightly as she stepped onto the street. The sounds of the city buzzed around her, but it felt muffled, distant. All she could focus on was the ache in her chest, the betrayal that left her feeling hollow.
A cab slowed to a stop, and she climbed in, pulling the door shut behind her as though she could shut out everything she’d just seen. She was about to give the driver her address, but a familiar voice broke through the noise, catching her attention.
"Y/N!" Minjeong’s voice was urgent, laced with desperation, and it made Y/N’s heart ache even more. She turned her head, barely able to see Minjeong through the fogged-up window, but there she was, pushing through the crowd, her expression frantic, her eyes wide.
“Please, Y/N, just… let me explain,” Minjeong’s voice cracked, her hand pressed against the glass, her eyes searching for a sign that Y/N would stay.
Y/N swallowed, fighting the urge to listen, to believe whatever Minjeong would say. Part of her wanted to throw open the door, to demand answers, to let Minjeong explain everything away. But a stronger part of her, the part that felt the sting of betrayal and the bitterness of uncertainty, couldn’t bring herself to stay. She needed space, needed to figure out if any of this had been real at all.
“Please, drive,” she whispered to the cab driver, her voice barely audible.
As the car began to pull away, she looked back one last time, her eyes meeting Minjeong’s through the glass. The raw pain in Minjeong’s expression made Y/N’s heart twist painfully, but she forced herself to look away, gripping her purse tightly as the city lights blurred into streaks around her.
The ride home felt longer than usual, filled with too many thoughts, too many questions she didn’t want to ask. She rested her head against the cool window, letting the city pass by as she tried to hold herself together.
When she finally reached her apartment, she walked in on autopilot, her mind replaying the kiss, the look on Minjeong’s face, the panic in her voice. She sank onto her bed, staring at the ceiling, numbness washing over her. The memory of Minjeong’s laughter, the way her hand had fit perfectly in Y/N’s own, now felt painfully out of reach.
A part of her couldn’t believe it—that Minjeong, the girl who’d looked at her with such warmth, had let someone else kiss her. All those moments, all those glances, had they meant nothing?
She wanted to believe there was more to it, that maybe there was some explanation that could make it all make sense. But the image of Minjeong with that girl was seared into her mind, an unwelcome reminder that maybe she’d been naive to think she could have something real with someone who lived a life so different from her own.
--
Minjeong’s mind was racing as she followed her bandmates backstage, her excitement barely contained. She couldn’t wait to see Y/N’s face, to celebrate after another successful show and maybe—if she was lucky—steal a few more minutes alone with her. She smiled to herself, already anticipating Y/N’s laughter, the way her eyes sparkled when they talked about music.
As she was about to slip away to find her, a familiar voice called her name, and she turned to see Yeji, an old friend from way back. They’d always kept in touch, catching up whenever they crossed paths in the same city. Minjeong smiled, and they started talking, catching up on everything and reminiscing about old times. Minjeong tried to keep the conversation brief—her heart was practically pulling her toward Y/N—but Yeji was relentless, asking questions, laughing, holding her back just a bit longer.
Suddenly, without any warning, Yeji leaned in, her hands resting lightly on Minjeong’s shoulders as she pressed her lips softly against Minjeong’s. Minjeong froze, too stunned to move, her mind blank for a few seconds. The warmth and weight of Yeji’s lips jolted her, and she felt her pulse quicken—not out of excitement, but panic. She didn’t want this, didn’t want to give Yeji the wrong impression. She was about to pull back when a sharp, familiar sound—a gasp—pierced through her daze.
Her gaze shifted, and she saw her: Y/N standing in the doorway, her eyes wide, her face stricken, and in that single moment, Minjeong’s heart plummeted.
“Y/N—” she choked out, pushing Yeji away and taking a shaky step toward her, but Y/N was already turning, her face unreadable as she disappeared through the door.
She tried to follow, but Yeji caught her arm, her grip firm. “Minjeong, wait,” Yeji said softly, her expression shifting to something almost pleading. “I’ve had a crush on you for ages. I didn’t know you’d met someone.”
Minjeong took a breath, a pang of guilt and frustration flaring within her. This was the last thing she wanted. “Yeji, I’m sorry… I didn’t know. But I can’t… I don’t feel that way about you. I’m really sorry.” She gently pulled her arm free, her thoughts racing back to Y/N.
Ignoring Yeji’s disappointed look, she darted out, her heart pounding as she scanned the crowd for any sign of Y/N. Her chest tightened as she finally spotted her outside, getting into a cab. She ran, nearly tripping in her rush to reach her.
“Y/N!” she called out, the desperation in her voice startling even herself. She reached the cab just as Y/N closed the door, her eyes filled with pain, her cheeks streaked with tears. Minjeong pressed her hand to the window, her voice cracking as she begged, “Please, Y/N, just let me explain.”
But before she could say another word, the cab pulled away, and she watched helplessly as it disappeared down the street. She stood there, feeling a cold weight settle over her as the reality of what had just happened hit her. She’d lost her chance to explain, to tell Y/N that she hadn’t wanted that kiss, that it had meant nothing.
She stood there, feeling the emptiness stretch, gnawing at her heart, until she heard voices approaching—her bandmates and Y/N’s friends. Yunjin’s sharp gaze fell on her first, her voice laced with anger.
“Minjeong, what the hell were you thinking?” she snapped, her frustration clear.
“Did you seriously kiss someone else?” Minji’s voice was incredulous, laced with anger.
Minjeong shook her head quickly, her voice urgent. “It wasn’t like that. I didn’t kiss her. She just… she kissed me, and I was in shock, and Y/N saw right before I could stop it.” She ran a hand through her hair, her frustration clear. “I tried to go after her, but Yeji held me back. I swear, I didn’t want it. I just… I just want to explain that to Y/N.”
Her bandmates and Y/N’s friends exchanged looks, the anger slowly fading from their expressions.
Minji sighed, crossing her arms. “Well, if that’s true, then you need to tell her. She’s probably at her apartment now. You need to fix this, Minjeong, because she looked heartbroken.”
Minjeong nodded, her voice barely a whisper. “I know. And I’ll fix it. I’ll make her understand.”
Without another word, her bandmates gestured for her to follow them to their car. They drove in tense silence, the weight of what she had to do pressing down on her, each second feeling heavier than the last. Her mind raced with thoughts of Y/N—was she still upset? Did she still care? Minjeong’s chest tightened with guilt, and she couldn’t stop replaying the image of Y/N’s tear-streaked face in the taxi.
The drive seemed to stretch on forever, but eventually, they reached Y/N’s building. The bandmates offered a few reassuring words as they stopped outside, and Minjeong gave them a tight smile. “Thanks for the ride. I’ll be okay.”
“Good luck,” Jimin added. “And remember, just be honest.”
Minjeong nodded, taking a deep breath as she stepped out of the car. The sound of the door shutting behind her felt final, but she couldn’t back down now. She had to fix this, whatever it took.
She made her way up to Y/N’s floor, each step heavy with the weight of what had happened. When she reached Y/N’s door, she hesitated for just a moment, her heart pounding in her chest. She raised her hand to knock, the sound echoing in the quiet hallway.
After what felt like an eternity, the door slowly opened, and there she was—Y/N, her eyes red and puffy, her face a mixture of anger, pain, and confusion. Minjeong’s heart shattered at the sight. Y/N looked… so distant, like a part of her had already started pulling away. Minjeong’s throat tightened, and she could barely whisper, “Hey.”
The word came out almost like a question, the same way it had the first time they’d met.
--
Minjeong lingered uncertainly in the entryway of Y/N’s apartment, every nerve ending buzzing with tension. She was here—finally here—but now that she was, she wasn’t sure where to begin. Y/N’s gaze was unreadable as she opened the door wider, the redness around her eyes still visible, stepping aside to let her in. Minjeong offered a tentative, grateful smile and slipped inside, her heart pounding, her hands slightly trembling as she followed Y/N to the couch. They sat down, a slight distance between them, and the silence that stretched between them was almost unbearable.
Minutes ticked by, the weight of the unspoken words growing heavier with each second. Minjeong swallowed, trying to summon the words she’d rehearsed on the drive here, but everything seemed to vanish. She could only manage short glances at Y/N, who sat beside her with her arms crossed, her expression still guarded.
After what felt like an eternity, Y/N finally broke the silence, her voice quiet and tense. “If you have nothing to say, Minjeong, maybe you should go.”
The words hit Minjeong hard, spurring her out of her frozen state. She couldn’t leave it like this; she couldn’t lose Y/N. “Wait, Y/N—please, it’s not like that.” She took a shaky breath, steeling herself. “Please, let me explain what happened.”
Y/N didn’t respond, but she didn’t get up to leave either, and that was enough for Minjeong to press on. She took a deep breath, letting her words flow in a careful, deliberate way. She explained every detail—who Yeji was, how she had shown up backstage after the show, how they’d been talking and catching up, and how Yeji had leaned in to kiss her, leaving her frozen in shock until she’d heard Y/N’s gasp.
“I was so confused, and then I saw you there, watching, and everything hit me at once.” Minjeong’s voice cracked slightly, and she looked down, her fingers fidgeting nervously. “I should have pushed her away sooner. I should have known better. I… I’m so sorry, Y/N. You don’t know how badly I wish I’d done something different. I didn’t want to hurt you.”
For a long, silent moment, Minjeong could only stare down at her hands. Her heart pounded painfully in her chest, waiting for Y/N’s response, but the longer the silence stretched, the more she worried she’d ruined everything. She was ready to give up and leave, then she heard a soft sniffle.
She looked up, her breath hitching at the sight of tears welling up in Y/N’s eyes. Guilt stabbed her all over again, and she scrambled for words, her hands reaching out as if they could erase the hurt she’d caused. “Oh god, Y/N… I’m so stupid for coming here. I shouldn’t have—”
“Minjeong,” Y/N interrupted, her hand reaching to cover Minjeong’s restless fingers. Her voice was soft, though still a little shaky. “It’s fine. I should apologize as well… I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have run off like that without letting you explain.”
Minjeong shook her head, trying to keep herself from tearing up. “No, Y/N, it’s… it’s my fault. I don’t blame you for leaving. I should’ve—”
“No,” Y/N said more firmly, giving her fingers a reassuring squeeze. “I mean it. I’m the one who didn’t communicate. I was so scared. We had such an amazing week and I had never felt more alive, but I didn’t know where the thing we had going on stood. I kept thinking if we were dating, or perhaps we were friends with benefits, maybe I saw just a fling. It’s just, I kept imagining things, that maybe I was the only one feeling like this.”
Hearing this, Minjeong’s heart squeezed painfully. She looked into Y/N’s eyes, seeing the vulnerability there, and she finally felt a surge of courage. “Y/N… no. I admit, I didn’t know where we stood either,” she admitted, her voice trembling. “But what I do is that you were never going to be a fling, or friends with benefits. I know exactly what I want us to be. I want… I want to be with you. For real. No misunderstandings. No more second-guessing.”
For a moment, they only stared at each other, a world of unspoken feelings hanging between them. Minjeong’s heart thudded as she searched Y/N’s face, praying she hadn’t completely blown her chance. Every nerve in her body was on edge, waiting for Y/N’s response.
Finally, she blurted out, breaking the silence with a surge of nervous boldness, “Do you… do you want to go on an actual date with me? Like, an official one. No ambiguity. Just us, out on a real date.”
A laugh bubbled out of Y/N’s lips, soft and warm, melting away the last traces of tension. Minjeong’s heart leaped at the sound, her nerves easing as Y/N leaned in close, her eyes softening as she brushed a gentle kiss across Minjeong’s lips. The kiss was passionate, you could tell they put their emotions into it.
“Of course, Rockstar,” Y/N whispered against her lips, her voice playful but full of warmth. “I think I’d like that a lot.”
They stayed close for a moment, their foreheads pressed together, smiling softly. Y/N felt a wave of relief, joy, and contentment washing over her. She finally felt steady, knowing exactly where she stood—and that they both wanted the same thing.
As they pulled back slightly, Y/N’s smile turned into a smirk. “Now, about that date… Better be the best one I’ve ever had.”
Minjeong grinned, her fingers lacing through Y/N’s as she lifted her palm up to the mouth, pressing her lips against it softly. “Don’t worry. You can count on it.”
--
The anticipation was electric as Y/N and her friends, first in line, waited outside the small, buzzing venue where Minjeong’s band was playing that night. Minjeong had been hinting at a “surprise” for days, and now Y/N could barely contain her excitement—or her nerves. It had been months since they’d started dating, each moment with Minjeong a blend of excitement and sweetness, wrapped up in laughter and stolen kisses. Tonight, though, felt different. There was something in the way Minjeong had looked at her earlier, a glint of mystery that sent Y/N’s mind spinning with curiosity.
Inside, the dim lights and pulsing bass amplified the thrill as Y/N’s group found a spot close to the stage. The energy in the bar was buzzing, everyone hyped up for another of the band’s electrifying performances. But Y/N couldn’t take her eyes off Minjeong, who was tuning her guitar, fingers moving with an effortless grace Y/N had grown to love. Even from a distance, she could see Minjeong’s usual confidence mixed with a touch of nerves—unusual for her rockstar girlfriend, and it only heightened the suspense.
The band launched into their set, and Y/N was mesmerized. Minjeong was magnetic, every note and strum pulling Y/N closer. Minjeong’s voice filled the bar, warm and rich, pouring emotion into each song. Y/N knew this band so well by now—the rhythms and riffs, the way Minjeong’s bandmates complemented her, each song a testament to how well they all fit together. Her friends were cheering, caught up in the music, but Y/N could only focus on Minjeong, who kept sneaking glances her way, eyes flickering with something unsaid.
As the band neared the end of their set, Minjeong glanced back at her bandmates, who each nodded with knowing smiles. She took a deep breath, stepping up to the microphone. Her voice was a little shaky, but her gaze was steady, locked on Y/N.
“So, uh, before we finish tonight… I wanted to share something special with you all,” she began, and there was a hush as the crowd quieted, leaning in to listen. “A few months ago I had no inspiration. I couldn’t write anything, and then I met my muse. Writing this song was like drinking water, or breathing air. That easy. This is for someone who means everything to me. She’s my inspiration… my best friend… the person who makes everything else just fade away.” Minjeong’s cheeks pinked a little under the lights, and Y/N felt her own face warm, her heart pounding.
“I wrote this song for the love of my life. It’s called No.1 Party Anthem.”
As the first chords filled the room, Minjeong’s voice softened, pouring out with a tenderness that caught Y/N off guard. The lyrics felt like a confession, each line weighted with meaning that reached out to her across the crowd. Y/N’s heart swelled with each word, and as the song progressed, Minjeong’s gaze never wavered—she sang to Y/N and Y/N alone, the entire bar falling away until it felt like just the two of them in a quiet, intimate moment.
Y/N’s friends glanced over with smiles, nudging each other knowingly as they watched her try to hold back tears. The raw honesty in Minjeong’s voice filled the room, carrying emotions that had only deepened over the months. Each word told a story, and Y/N could see herself reflected in the lyrics—the late-night laughter, the whispered confessions, the stolen moments that had come to mean everything.
The look of love, the rush of blood
The, 'She's-with-me's, the Gallic shrug
Y/N felt it then: the dizzying sensation of being seen and adored so purely. Her pulse quickened, and she could almost feel the warmth of Minjeong’s hands even from this distance. It was like the world had faded to black and white, the two of them in their own silent film, yet vibrant with color and meaning only they could see.
The shutterbugs, the Camera Plus The black and white and the color dodge
It was a feeling she hadn’t known before, the security of having Minjeong’s affections worn so openly in her words, in her melody, in every single note. Y/N knew then what her friends had always teased her about—that Minjeong would have eyes for no one else, that she belonged here, in this moment, by Minjeong’s side.
The good time girls, the cubicles
The house of fun
As the bridge filled the room, Minjeong’s voice grew stronger, emboldened, and Y/N couldn’t stop the rush of emotions. The energy was intense, so raw and unfiltered, like being caught up in a whirlwind that spun just for the two of them. It was exhilarating, dizzying, grounding—and yet, she felt like she could float away at any moment, lifted up by Minjeong’s words and the crowd’s rapt attention.
The weight of their love, the certainty of it, settled over her. Everything was crystallizing; all their shared laughter, late nights, and whispered secrets between songs. Minjeong wasn’t just singing for a crowd—she was singing for Y/N, for their memories, for their future.
The number one
Party anthem
The song was reaching its end, and Minjeong’s eyes softened as she held the final note, her expression open and vulnerable. Y/N’s heart felt like it was on fire. She hadn’t realized it until now, but this was exactly what she had needed: this quiet, beautiful assurance of how much she meant to Minjeong.
As the song faded, the room erupted in applause, but Minjeong’s gaze stayed locked on her, a private smile on her lips. Y/N could feel her own smile breaking free as tears blurred her vision, overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment. It was as if Minjeong had taken her heart and woven it into the song, showing Y/N that every note was a promise, every word a reassurance of what they had.
As the applause subsided, Minjeong slipped off the stage, making her way through the crowd toward Y/N. Her friends cheered her on as she moved closer, and Y/N’s heart raced as she finally stood face-to-face with Minjeong, who looked at her with a nervous, hopeful smile.
“Hey, rockstar,” Y/N whispered, unable to contain her grin.
Minjeong chuckled, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “So… what did you think?” she asked, a little shyly, her gaze unwavering.
Y/N’s voice was thick with emotion. “That was… perfect. I loved it.”
Minjeong’s eyes softened, and without a word, she pulled Y/N into her arms, holding her close. They stayed like that, wrapped in each other, while the rest of the world buzzed around them. It was a quiet moment in the middle of the chaos, a moment just for them.
Y/N looked up, meeting Minjeong’s eyes. “I guess that makes me your No.1?”
Minjeong laughed, leaning in to press a soft kiss to her forehead. “You always were.”
a/n: this is in my top 3 song from AM, so i thought it deserved a fanfic.

Hi hello, Damian pulling a Talia-esque move with his own child is INSANE/pos. But with that devastating concept I wonder: would the child be like Damian and be able to pick out Jon in a building with hundreds of people in it- or be like Jon in the sense that he had no idea that he wasn't fully human for so long, let alone who his other bio parent is? Damian raising his kid knowing that Jon's involvement would be like his own relationship with his father, impossibly distant no matter the proximity. Damian raising his child angry at the thought of Jon treating their child like Clark did Kon,even if he's more like Lois than anyone.
Like.. Damian canonically KNOWS he's loved but he doesn't really FEEL loved by Bruce most of the time. Would he refuse the same fate extended to his child, his flesh and blood due to that gut-wrenching feeling alone? Or would he do it seeing Jon chase his father's shadow years into adulthood, knowing he would never be his father's equal but his little lanky farm boy forever and ever... Not wanting either dynamic for his beloved baby, even if it will hurt everyone around him at the betrayal.
Omg Clark and Lois not knowing they're grandparents. Clark not knowing the person he distrusts most in his son's life is his grandchild's-Jon's kid- father. Lois missing the opportunity to see another child of hers grow up,to be the grandparent her parents never were... The absolute meltdown Jon will have because Damian, his tether, his other half- didn't think HE would be a good dad for their kid even as they float after a running dog and Damian struggling to coach them through the method of flying .. My mind is plagued now thanks/pos HORRIFIC ENDING THOUGHT: would the kid look more like Damian like he looks like Talia,so much so that Jon wouldn't recognize himself in them like Bruce did? God I'm throwing up😭😭
My HC is like in Invincible, even the tiniest bit of kryptonian DNA can make a very powerful person. So the kid definitely has powers from the start but Damian hopes the kid doesn’t.
But besides that I honestly think Damian would make a great father. My idea is that the child looks EXACTLY like him so it’s hard for anyone who doesn’t know to guess that it’s also Jon’s.
Damian considers the baby his, it’s got his DNA, it’s his kid and no one is taking them away. I’m not into the whole Damian ending up as Batman and I think if he had a child that child would take priority over EVERYTHING else, including hero business.
Jon is flighty and also Superman. Damian is worried he wouldn’t be there enough, that (like you said) the child would have a torn relationship with him. And what if they did break up? He’d have to give up his kid certain days of the week? What if Clark didn’t consider him a good enough parent and suddenly Damian is having to prove himself. So in his head him not telling Jon is justified.
And to his credit, he’s an excellent parent but it does make him guilty. It’s awful watching Jon go around oblivious to everything. And if you consider how Damian would have to lie it could wreck any romantic relationship because it could involve a third party (a woman Damian hooked up perhaps)
And yeah, Jon would totally freak the hell out because by time he knows the kid is old enough for it to matter. And suddenly the entire thing Damian was trying to avoided happens, his kid and their father have a giant space between them and it’s all his fault.

Tumblr media
ochaco was… well, she was overwhelmed, to state it simply.
she had always dreamt of a perfect life without having to care about money, and she got it. she had always dreamt of being an amazing and helpful hero, and she got that, too. and finally, she had always dreamt of being a wife and a mother. she had managed to achieve that as well, having a powerful husband and two little children running around at her ankles whenever she returned home, always happy to see mommy.
but, as life always goes, she was still unsatisfied.
marrying a high-school sweetheart was the wish of every woman, of course. she had thought herself lucky to have found someone so young. izuku had been the man of her dreams for quite some time, but they sealed the deal in third year after two long school years filled with pining.
and he had fulfilled her in the only ways he knew how: he was sweet, funny, bashful… but he was quick to rise in the ranks. he married her and it was all for the public. and then he got busier and busier, less caring to her and more work-oriented. she was lucky if he saw him twice a day. she was often left alone with the heavy burden of being a hero and a mother of two young children that took after their rowdy father.
she was overwhelmed. and she was exhausted. which is why she put out an ad under a pseudonym, looking for a full-time babysitter to help her with her woes.
that’s how she ended up with you at her doorstep, nervously clutching your purse that held your printed resume and a reference from your old job.
you loved kids. you loved being around them, caring for them, and just helping other parents take a break. you had left your previous job at a daycare to pursue the nanny life, wanting to help shape kids who needed some extra time.
but all of that went out the window when pro-hero uravity was the one opening the door, looking tired and a little messy and oh so beautiful.
she was your favorite pro. you had admired her from afar, watching her slowly rise in the ranks and admiring her honesty for why she was a hero in the first place. you valued her strengths and honestly didn’t understand why she wasn’t as popular as her husband. now she was standing in front of you, pink cheeks swelled and soft from her older age of thirty five, robe tied loosely around her and hugging her round figure. she was built on dense muscle but she was soft in the middle from having two kids and it looked spectacular on her.
the two of you sized one another up. you swallowed a little, and opened your mouth to say something, but a sudden crash resounded from the living room, making both of you jolt.
“haru! tadashi! what are you two doing in there?!” ochaco nervously shouted back, stepping into the house and leaving enough entryway for you to go in. your feet moved before your brain could compute, and you hurried into the living room, shucking your purse and shoes in the foyer before heading in.
“hi guys,” you smiled at the two kids (which, notably, looked almost exactly like izuku did). one of them, whose freckles stuck out on his cheeks and neck, immediately hopped to his feet. “mommy! mommy! a stranger’s in here!”
“it’s fine, i’m a friend!” you quickly shook your head and surveyed the damage. the boys had been building an unstable lego tower, which had crashed completely onto the glass coffee table. the other boy hopped to his feet too, following his older brother. “stranger! get out!”
“it’s fine, guys, really.” you laughed and dropped to your knees, looking over the base of the structure. “what were you guys building?”
the eldest, still skeptical of your arrival, squinted at you. “we were rebuilding the tokyo tower, but haru pushed it over.”
“did not!” the youngest, now identified as haru, pouted and stamped his foot into the carpet.
“did too!”
“did n-”
“you guys need a stronger base.” you hastily interrupted their bickering by sweeping the fallen pieces onto the floor, making them forget their plight and turn to you as you started to explain. “the tower is big at the bottom and gets smaller towards the top. if you want to make a smaller one, you have to make it nice and big at the bottom. look.”
the two boys sat and watched you build a square base for their tower with rapt attention, nodding along. the eldest, most likely tadashi, punched his hand into his fist. “that makes more sense! it won’t fall so easy if it's big on the bottom!”
“uh, yeah!” haru nodded, not understanding quite as much but clearly wanting to seem cool. you smiled anyway and passed them the blocks that you had in your hands.
“here, keep going. you’ll have your own tokyo tower soon.”
they both start to continue to build up and up, and you get to your feet and dust your knees off, finally turning to where your gracious, gorgeous host was watching, slack-jawed.
your face heated a bit in your own embarrassment; you really had just intruded on her home and stepped into a situation she could have handled. you walked up to her, wringing your hands together. “mrs. midoriya-”
“they’ve never calmed down so quickly.” she steepled her hands under her nose, watching her boys - her rowdy, loud, over-excitable boys - play calmly as if nothing had happened.
you glanced between the children and ochaco before just smiling sheepishly. “i, uh… i’ve always been really good with kids. i love them.”
ochaco was quiet for a moment, glancing you up and down, making your face feel ever-hotter under her clearly appreciative gaze.
she dropped her hands from her face and shoved one out towards you, her pinky curled into her palm to prevent you from floating when you took it to shake.
“you’re hired.”
you lived in the house for a short month, and in that time you had come to know the inner workings of the midoriya’s.
their home was only happy to the press. you had maybe met pro-hero deku exactly once, when he stopped home for dinner. he had looked at you with his brows furrowed, asking ochaco who you were and why you were occupying the guest room. ochaco was happy to explain that she needed the help with the kids between her work, because she worked too, which he seemed to always forget.
he had had the gall to nod, smile at you in greeting, and then ask ochaco when dinner was going to be served because he had a meeting to get to across japan.
you had decided, then, that the big pro-hero deku wasn’t as jovial as the tabloids had made him out to be.
you were the one to help dress the kids for school. you brushed out their unruly hair and made sure they ate all of their breakfast. you walked them to school, and then you went back to your new home to watch ochaco bustle around in a frenzy before going to her agency to start patrol.
she always gave you a tight hug in the morning before she left. always. with each hug you felt yourself falling more and more in love with her.
you knew she was out of your league, of course. she was a pro-hero, a married one at that. you couldn’t be crushing on the woman you so graciously took you in when you were looking for a job. but you couldn’t help it. you had slowly became her rock, the one to rely on instead of her always-away husband who barely made time for her or his children.
it was one event that shifted the dynamic between you two and left you with far more questions than you had answers to.
she had known you were home. she had to have. you had dropped a pot in the kitchen while cleaning up. and yet here you were, standing in the darkened hallway while the white light of the bathroom poured out through the crack in the ajar door.
it was late. the boys were asleep. you two were the only ones awake. she had gone in to shower. she should know better than to leave the door open, and yet…
she shed her towel. there she was, standing there in the bathroom, hair wet and dripping all down her tanned skin and perky breasts and soft tummy and thick, thick thighs, and…
you lost your breath. her nipples were hard from the cold and you could see the way the water droplets glistened on them. she was so full, so full of life and beauty and honestly in your opinion she looked like such a goddess.
you hadn’t realized you were panting the slightest bit and staring at her until you glanced up towards her pretty, round face and caught you. her honey brown eyes locked onto yours, and all you could do was quickly turn and walk away, hurrying down the hall into your room.
you closed and locked the door, fully intending to simply forget the interaction, but it was seared into the backs of your eyelids.
you had seen her carnally. and now you wanted to know her that way, too.
after that it became a spiral. you tried to focus on work but she was only wearing robes around the house after patrols, using excuse after excuse as to why she didn’t want to wear proper clothes. but when she did, they were tight, short numbers that made you drool without realizing it. she was coming onto you and you weren’t sure whether to consider yourself the luckiest girl alive or the worst person on the planet.
because yeah, ochaco was in a rough place with deku. she could just want to use you… or maybe not.
you honestly didn’t know and couldn’t tell.
the air between the both of you after that altercation was thick and laced with hunger and tension, making you shake in your shoes. you didn’t want to get the wrong impression.
but ochaco was tired of you dancing around her like she was a fragile option. she was tired of it, three months in, and she simply couldn’t do it anymore.
you had dropped the boys off at school and came home with the intent to clean. to your surprise, ochaco was in the kitchen, looking out through the window over the sink and sipping a cup of tea in that beautiful pink robe she loved to wear around you.
you swallowed a little and set your purse on the island. “mrs. midoriya? whatre you doing home?”
“i took the day off.” she set the now empty mug into the sink and turned her head a little to look at you over her shoulder.
“o-oh,” you stuttered, trying to look everywhere but at her.
that was the final mistake you would make.
ochaco turned and quickly approached you, hands coming down hard on either side of you on the island, caging you in. you yelped in surprise and let your eyes go wide as you stared at her.
“m-mrs.-“
“do you think i’m pretty?”
you stared at her. what?
she didn’t like your silence and it showed in her gaze. “i asked you a question. i pay you to be honest to me. tell me. do you think i’m pretty, y/n? attractive?”
you bit down on your lip before taking in a deep breath. “y-yes. i t-think you’re… i think you’re so beautiful.” and that was the truth, because you had spent many a night locked in your room with your fingers plunged deep in your cunt, trying to bring yourself to release while thinking about her, her, her.
her pink cheeks warmed up the slightest bit more. “you do? you think that?”
“yes,” you managed, more confidently this time, and she must’ve liked that answer because she grinned at you before forcefully pressing those pillow-plush lips to yours.
your hands easily found her shoulders, squeezing them and whimpering. you pushed at her shoulders, suddenly remembering where you were, and she pulled away to shake her head. “deku isn’t coming home today. he doesn’t want me - you do.”
“mrs.-“
“you don’t have to call me that anymore, y/n.” she shook her head, lifting a hand to touch your cheek. “just call me ochaco. or mommy. mommy would be nice coming from you, pretty thing…”
who was this and where was ochaco?!
but, then again… you knew better than to disrespect or disobey a pro-hero. you knew a lot better. you didn’t answer her as you leaned to catch her lips again, and she sighed gently at your ambition.
your lips meshed with hers with sudden ease, the softness of her chapstick making it easier for you. her tongue pushed its way into your mouth, her hands sliding along the island to your sides, sneaking up under your shirt and making you jump.
“shhh, it’s alright. it’s just us…” she cooed against your lips, feeling for the hem to start taking you out of your shirt. you just let her, lifting your arms over your head and watching the way her pupils dilated in the lights of the kitchen when she saw the clean expanse of your skin, lacking the battle scars her own torso adorned. she bit on her lip and reached around you to unclasp your bra, and you let it fall to the floor, your nipples hardening under the sudden cold air of the kitchen.
she let out a breath. “i knew you were perfect, gosh…” her soft hand enveloped one of your tits, squeezing before moving to flick your nipple, making you jump and whimper through your teeth.
“come on y/n. you wanna see me again? i know you were staring when i left the door open. i wanted you to come in…”
your head was swimming. she really wanted you? your hands moved without your consent to the fuzzy piece of fabric holding her robe closed, and she allowed you to untie it and let the clothing drop to the floor. she had absolutely nothing on under it, and you practically moaned when you saw how perfect she was.
she smiled and blushed, as if she was the least bit bashful, before her hands were sliding down your navel to your jeans button, and you nodded just barely. she wasn’t looking, she didn’t care - she was going to do it anyway.
she shucked you of your clothes and finally looked at your face again, smiling at your embarrassed expression before leaning to peck your lips. her fingers slid down, down, down between your legs, dancing over your thighs before her finger dipped between your wet folds, making you absolutely keen.
she cooed at that. “oh, sweetheart, you’re soaked. don’t make a mess on the tile, baby, you’ll have to clean it up.”
you nodded, already desperate for her touch. her free hand held onto your hip as she started to rub her finger against your clit with the collected juices, making your legs tense and your head drop back. “ochaco, please…”
“please what?”
“you know…?”
“i don’t, baby. you have to use your words.”
“please, want your fingers in, please…” you looked at her desperately, and she giggled at your expression before her index finger dipped into your tight hole, making you moan and grip the island.
“you like that? that’s what you need, baby?”
“y-yes! ‘chaco, please, please touch…”
“i know. i’ll take care of you. mommy knows best.” she purred and pushed a second finger into your tight cunt, her lips connecting with your neck to suck a hickey low down on your collarbone. it made you whine out, white-knuckling the counter underneath you.
she knew just how to curl her fingers, just how to jerk her thumb against your clit to make you jolt, just how to mouth at your jaw to make you weaker in the knees.
you had never gotten so close to the edge before.
“please! gotta cum, ‘chaco, gotta cum!”
“babygirl wants to cum? you have to say please.”
“please! please, please, please, please lemme cum-!”
she hummed against your jugular as if in thought, feeling the way your cunt fluttered around her fingers, before she giggled. “fine, cum or don’t cum at all, baby.”
your eyes rolled back as your whole body tensed up tight, seeing the stars in the night sky as you gushed around her fingers.
she fucked you through your orgasm before gently hooking her hands around your knees to drop you down to the floor. her clean hand went to the back of your head, and she tugged you forward in your haze.
“be a good girl, baby. you know what to do.”
her wet hand went down between her own thighs, spreading her folds and letting you get a good look at the glistening sheen of her cunt in the sickly kitchen light. “you gonna be good?”
you didn’t even need to answer. you were already burying your face between those folds, licking eagerly at her fluttering hole before sliding your mouth up to her clit and sucking.
she moaned softly, always modest and gentle. her hips rolled rhythmically down against your tongue, and her eyes never left yours while you licked and lapped and sucked at her for dear life.
“that’s it baby. you gonna make mommy cum? you gonna make me feel so good, huh? yeah? what a good girl, shit…”
you had never heard her swear before. she was so beautiful, rocking her hips down against your face. you were barely able to breathe but you didn’t care, hands grabbing at her thighs to pull her closer to yourself and try to savor the moment for as long as possible.
her moans grew in pitch and fervor, the hand on the back of your head curling and gripping you tight.
“good girl, good girl, gonna cum in your mouth, oh fuck-!”
she whined so prettily for you when she gushed onto your tongue that you yourself moaned, rendering you speechless while you watched the flush overtake her chest snd shoulders.
you licked at her clit through her orgasm before she was pushing you back gently. she leaned down to kiss your lips softly.
“you have to get cleaned up for the next round in a little bit. but you should fix up some salad first for the both of us. alright?”
“yes mommy.”

Over 40% percent of Hispanics (up from 30% last time) and about 15% of black men. God only knows how many women and other marginalized people. The Republicans knew they couldn’t sustain their party with angry white males and their drunk wives so during the George W. bush years they began to recruit Hispanics. There’s nothing an immigrant loves more than pulling the ladder up behind them. They already had those south Florida Cubans that vote Republican because that party continues to punish Castro’s Cuba even though the bastard has been dead for years. They literally chant “send those sp-cs back” at the Trump rallies. Not to mention just about every single Republican for office campaigns on no reparations or welfare for people who didn’t earn it. That’s what they call DEI, didn’t earn it. Want to guess who they’re talking about there.
In Massachusetts there were five candidates for president on the ballot. Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Socialist, and Jill Stein’s Green Party (aka Russian agents). Jill Stein fucked us again. In many races it was slim and that few percent drawn off by these covertly funded third parties could have turned the tables. Never vote third party they gave us the Bush/Cheney nightmare for two terms thanks to Ralph Nader and now two terms of Trump.
Now let’s look at the Muslims and the Jews. The Muslims and the pro-Palestinian protest voters drew off even more. Republican operatives started that whole “Genocide Joe” bullshit and all the radical assholes bought into it like rabid Bernie Bros. They were staging demonstrations at Harris events right up until the day before the election. Well now the Palestinians are really fucked because as we all know Trump and the Republicans really despise Muslims/Palestinians and have a love affair with Israel. Fucking war criminal Netanyahu was the first foreign leader to call and congratulate Trump. The Jewish lobby has always supported the Republicans because of the latter’s hatred of Muslims. Both sides in the Middle East tanked Harris.
While we’re throwing stones let’s look at the affluent Asian groups who voted their pocket book instead of for democracy. And when it comes to voting one’s pocket book there’s the Log Cabin Republicans, the affluent lesbian and gay community. Texas and several other state level Republican conventions won’t even let them attend let alone participate but they continue to throw money at the GOP. Let’s not forget one of the largest groups, the seniors who believe Republican scary lies and think everyone younger than them doesn’t deserve a penny or damn.
So we’ve got a Democratic Party that’s based around protecting marginalized people who largely don’t vote or vote Republican in increasingly large numbers.
Who’s left in the Democratic Party? Northeast and West Coast educated liberals. An ever shrinking union base in those same regions. And older African-American women who seem to be the only marginalized people with the brains to solidly back the party that doesn’t want to kill them. Thank god for mature African-American women and the spouses they drag to the polls. And last but not least we have urban dwellers who know Republicans despise them and want to cut off virtually all programs that help them.
So in summation we lose about 3% to 3rd party assholes, about 1-2% to the Israeli crowd, another 1-2% to the Muslim-American crowd (if the news figures are to be believed). Add to that 40% of registered Hispanic voters who should know better, 15% of African-American men who must be as delusional as Kanye, a few percent to Log Cabin Republicans who are risking being outlawed, and an indeterminate number of affluent Asians. That alone is more than enough to change a tight race but let’s add in possibly tens of millions of women who are voting away their rights to control their own bodies and have full citizenship.
The cherry on top is the 100,000,000 plus non-voters that common knowledge tells us would vote overwhelmingly Democratic. If the “conservative” Hispanics alone abandoned their delusion it would instantly flip Texas and Florida and we would never lose again. If all the Republican women woke up and realized that party was at war with them and their rights as full citizens we would win with ease across the board. If all those other smaller groups realized they were voting against their own interests we wouldn’t have to sweat unpredictable swing states.
The north east and the west coast are the only solidly blue states left. The upper mid-west is on the verge of being lost and so is the less populous south west. I’ve been saying for over two decades we can’t survive without the Florida and Texas Hispanics. I’ve said this a million times and I’ll repeat it, the Democrats, their donors, their spokespeople, and their celebrities need to flood those two states with outreach programs. Every single Spanish speaking Democratic elected office holder, regardless of where there constituency is, needs to be working those to states tirelessly. All the Spanish speaking celebrities on our side should be doing likewise. These voters need to be educated about the threat posed to them by the Republicans. Indeed it already may be too late for some as Trump wants to revoke birthright citizenship. If that happens I personally will lose 75% of my family, friends, and neighbors.
This has been my unsolicited autopsy. Welcome Hispanics into the party and we’ll be saved in the short term. Get all the others on board and we can end the Republican Party and create a progressive welcoming society. With the Republicans off the board we will finally have the luxury of moving to a multi-party system. As it is now the minor parties only contribute to Republican victories. This is not prejudicial as these demographic facts are on many news sites that covered the election in detail.
“Oh but I have the right to vote 3rd party or to protest vote and not voting isn’t against the law.” Well many of you are going to learn hard lessons in the next few years as you are stripped of rights, citizenship, worker protections, rounded up, persecuted by right-wing fascists and their militias or possibly be “eradicated” to use the current Republican term. We’re all going to suffer hardships, even Trump voters are going to suffer monetarily. We may never have the right to vote again as we slide into a fascist dystopian nightmare.
There’s a big fucking difference between what you can do and what you should do. And for fuck’s sake stop spending money at Walmart, they write all the policies you protest and fund every Republican for state and federal office. Same for Koch Industries. If you don’t like my rant then fuck off and get blocked when you retort.

“Sure you got everything?” says your roommate while you two walk to the passenger boarding bridge. She insisted on coming all the way to the airport with you. “Passport, ticket, phone?”
“Yes, I do. I swear. I’m not that dumb” you unconsciously roll your eyes. You know she’s just trying to help you, deep down. She stops you right before getting close to the gates.
“You promise not to fall in for that guy again?” your friend asks, staring deep into your eyes, holding your wrist, as if she wouldn’t let go if you didn’t say so. You swallow dry and look away.
You had almost forgotten about him as the year passed: the classes and exams made you busy enough to think about anything else for twelve months. Sometimes, Gojo would send you a message or two, asking how you were doing, if you were going to spend your summer with them, etc. and that’s when you remember him, what he did, what he didn’t. His fucking best friend. Goddamnit. Your blood boils of thinking about it, him and the possibility of seeing him again.
You were thinking about spending your summer break with Nobara, but with her new girlfriend living with her, you thought that maybe shouldn’t invade her privacy that way. She couldn’t be stuck with a third wheeler for one month. So you ask your mom to spend this summer at your grandma’s beach house: far from home and Suguru. Just you, mom, and her two dogs (Gojo included).
So you say that to your friend, with different words: “Of course! It will be a family vacation. I won’t get a sight of him. Promise.” you let go of her hand. She looks at you hesitant, as if wasn’t sure yet to trust. “I promise” you emphasise.
It took you a while to digest everything that happened on your summer break when you first arrived back at your dorms, staying almost absolutely silent for a day or two before telling everything gradually  to your roommate. You were still a mix of sadness and anger and she seemed as shocked and upset as you did. She noticed you became hesitant about meeting other people and going to bars or parties after all of that: everytime she went off to a freshman party you chose to stay home and study, or watch a movie alone. Perhaps you were too traumatised to hook up with someone again, she worriedly thought.
The truth is: you knew no one in there would be your stepdad’s friend or any related to your family again, you just didn’t feel the need to go out with some frat boy or veterans anymore. After being with someone as old and experienced as the fucker one, you unfortunately developed a very poor tolerance for boys your age. You did go to a party or two after the start of semester, but all those guys had such a boring talk: it was always about bragging what they had, what their parents had, how much time they spent working out or doing some sport, normally followed by them showing you their muscles. Needless to say it was all too pitiful —Of course there was a bit of trauma too, but it was mostly just indisposition.
You hear the last call for the flight and hug her goodbye. She asked you to let her know when you arrived, as you showed the stewardess your ticket and headed inside the platform.
The flight went well besides the time you spent sitting down on an uncomfortable armchair. Your mom got you on the airport and you went straight to the beach house. The sea horizon looked singularly beautiful as the gradient twilight became darker, and you closer to your destination. The wooden house was just across the beach, only for a thin one way street separating; the facade showed lots of windows, a triangular roof and a little balcony with nothing but a rocking chair and some sand, just above the entrance ladder. As you enter, it was more explicit to be a house owned by an older, and didn’t change a thing since the last time you were there: all the furniture seemed freezed on time, including the tube TV sitting on a small table beside the fireplace. Fortunately, the kitchen had a refrigerator and a microwave, and the bathrooms, hot water. The second floor had three rooms, two with a double bed and one with three single beds, which you thought were the one your mom would sleep in when she was little, with the other kids, the same as you did when you were.
So you left your suitcase in the second double bedded room, with a huge window to the beach.  At this time, the sun had already set, and you could only hear the waves crashing and have the sight of the beachfront by the pole lights. The street had a very low traffic, reinforcing the neighbourhood’s lack of nightlife and making you realise that would really need to bear a whole summer without any kind of escape from Satoru’s annoyance.
You were craving for an hour or two in a very hot bathtub but, talking about annoyance, someone wouldn’t stop ringing the bell downstairs while you were about to get inside the water. You screamed for your mom to open the door. No answer. Then Gojo, who didn’t answer as well. While the ringbell keeps doing its work. Fine. You put your clothes back on, giving up on your very deserved bath and heading downstairs with such frustration that you could swear you’d break the floor below at each step if you could.  You look inside the kitchen before attending the door and find a fucking Satoru making dinner with headphones, dancing like he had no shame —and he probably didn’t.
“Satoru!” you try to scream to him. Of course, he doesn’t hear you and keeps on babbling a song while mixing something in the pan. You walk into him and take one of his headphones off. “Turn that heck down!” you scream at him again, and now he definitely listens. “What is that?”, he asks so calmly you forget why you’re mad at him for a moment. But a very brief moment.
“There’s someone knocking on the door for ten minutes now! Are you deaf? Where’s mom?” you could notice he stops for a second to think. “Uhm, probably sleeping. She said she was tired”
You became even more dumbfounded. “How could someone sleep with this hellacious noise?”
Satoru shrugs. “Don’t know. Answer it for me, please” And unhappily you go.
You open the door, pulling it with more force than you’d do normally, giving the person behind it a definitely not happy face, and it becomes strongly unhappier as you realize who you were facing. The black haired man looks as surprised as you, with his phone in hands, showing that he was trying to call Satoru at least ten times. He had a suitcase and three more people behind his silhouette.
“What are you doing here?” you and Suguru say in unison, arching one eyebrow each. You got a bit offended for him to have the courage to ask you this, actually.
“Well, this is my family’s house?” you say, almost mocking at him. You unconsciously think he was still good looking, and just after that cringes from this intrusive thought. All his beauty had been fogged instantly by your remorse.
“Well, me and my family have been invited to stay here, by Satoru and your mom”, now he was the one that seemed offended. When you were about to answer him a really bad thing, Gojo showed behind you, as happy as he could ever be, hugging his friend and apologising for not answering him sooner. You give them enough space to pass through the open door and as Gojo and Getou came in, you could now see Mimiko and Nanako’s bringing their own suitcases up the ladder and their mom, as beautiful as she’s ever been, right behind them. You swallow dry. The whole troop’s present and all your plans are turned upside down, in less than a day on vacancy.
As you help your friends to get inside with their way-too-heavy-for-a-vacancy suitcases, you see that your mom is now chatting with Suguru and her husband, seeming not to notice you are fighting for your life to move those damn bags. You clean your throat loud enough to get her attention and ask where they would sleep —and, as you guessed, in the three single beds’ room. You just didn’t expect her to say you were going to sleep with the two girls there too. “What? Why?”
“Uhm, because Suguru and his wife are going to stay in the second double bedded room, and you don’t need such a big bed for yourself” your mom says to you almost as it’s obvious, and you don’t know why, but listening to that made your ears and tummy hurt. Suguru’s wife. Of course they are going to sleep together. Of course you are staying in the room with his daughters. Of course.
So you ask for Mimiko’s help and carry her suitcase upstairs to your now shared room, heading to your ex bedroom once it’s done so you can sadly carry your own bag too. You remained silent while undoing your baggage into the wardrobe. You thought that doing it first, as you didn’t have as many things with you as the other two, would be easier than finding space inside it after they tidy their stuff. Gojo called for dinner and the girls ran downstairs as quickly as he spoke; their trip must’ve been a bit long too.
Definitely having dinner together with Suguru wasn’t on your plans for today—nor for the whole month, so you choose your almost forgotten bath: with your clothes on hands you head up to the bathroom just across. The door opens to a shirtless Suguru, drying his recently washed hair with a pink towel while had a white one tied to his hips. You look away, ashamed and a bit angry for him to feel comfortable enough to walk through practically naked. The gears on your head start to spin and you realise the pink towel he’s using to dry out his hair was your towel. Your fucking pink towel. He was about to enter his room when you almost ran to him and pulled the towel from his hands. Suguru turns to you with a question mark above his head, which makes you angrier.
“That’s my towel!” you say absolutely revolted. How could he be so shameless? Getou looks at you indifferently. “Is it, now?” He passes his hands through his long and silky hair semi dried, “Well, you can use it. I’m finished” and closes his door in your face. You blink once or twice with your mouth opened, not wanting to believe he actually did this. Your towel was soaked now and you’d have to use it like this. Fuck! Fuck him!, you thought, turning around to take your not so comfortable bath now. Before entering it, though, you say a “Fuck you!” loud enough for him to hear on the other side of the corridor, through his door.
Tumblr media
You actually did take a one hour bath, more because you spent almost the whole time staring angrily at your towel schematizing your vengeance. He knew that towel wasn’t his, so why the hell didn’t he ask for a new one to dry his hair out? You couldn’t think about anything else. You knew he did it purposely.
So you got out and dried yourself with your Suguru-stinking towel,  still a bit wet. You put on your clothes and leave the bathroom, taking your pink towel with you. At this time the dinner had ended and you lost your appetite for the angry fogginess. Perhaps, deepdown, you’re not even mad about the towel anymore, just want some good reason to show him you did not forgive what he did to you. You head back to your shared room and the girls are chitchatting about celebrities biffing. You pretend to be interested in the conversation and laid down on your bed with the door open to see when Getou would come out with his pretty and dearing towel back to the bathroom, where you were going to accidentally drop it inside the full bathtub. Poor Suguru.
Or maybe poor you, as the seek for revenge reveals weaker than your tiredness, and as you waited to succeed your scheme, fell asleep in a few minutes. It’s hard to be bad and sleepy, unfortunately.
Only when you dreamt about tearing his towel apart with scissor hands, you realised you were sleeping, and woke up in a jump. The girls were sleeping too now, and the house was so dark you could see nothing but the things the yellow pole light outside shined. It was definitely midnight, and you definitely failed your plan. And you failed to fulfill your stomach, that is now hurting and screaming at your foolishness. You walk outside the room seeing barely nothing, trying to get to the kitchen without waking up anyone. The wooden stairs were so noisy that you frowned at every cracking step you made.
You would‘ve headed straight to the kitchen if only the tube tv wasn’t turned on. It showed an eight's movie with the sound muted, but for the bloody scenes it was probably a horror one. As you were about to turn it off, you heard a loud breath coming from the sofa and almost fainted from the sudden sound. You turned around and found a deeply asleep Suguru, with his hair now completely dry and only a cushion below his head. He looked so defenseless like this you started regretting plotting to ruin his towel. He was probably watching that movie and fell asleep, as tired from his trip as you were. You actually felt a bit of pity for him sleeping on such an uncomfortable couch with not even a blanket. You hated to admit it, but you did grab a blanket that stayed in a little chest beside the fireplace and threw it above him. Of course you did it only because he was your mom’s guest, nothing personal.
Tumblr media
You woke up the next day to the noise of the girls taking clothes out of their suitcases, searching desperately for a pair of bikinis. The sun was shining through the opened window and it took you a while to adjust to the clarity in the room; by the height of the star and the weak warmth coming in, it was early in the morning and they were already this electrical.
“You guys should take the cue and put your clothes in the wardrobe”, you say, lazily sitting on your bed and scratching your eyes. They both look at you puppy-like.
“I think we forgot our bikinis at home, we’re screwed!” Mimiko looked like the floor would disappear under her feets at any moment, as if they wouldn’t be capable of going to the beach —which is just across the street, if not wearing a swimsuit.
“There’s a pair or two of mine inside the second drawer, you can take it if it fits. I’ll take one of my mom’s“, and the two girls go search for it almost immediately. You get up to your mom’s room to see if she actually has a pair of swimsuits leftover. You find a cute black one and head to the bathroom to change yourself and other stuff you usually do in the morning. Besides the girls' drama, the house was silent, you didn’t even hear the tv on, nor Gojo’s loud voice, so you conclude they were probably at the beach already. Soon enough, you hear Mimiko and Nanako talking about being scared of fishes and going down the stairs.
Having the house all for yourself for once was nice, you really enjoyed having your breakfast without an annoying Satoru complaining about you not eating enough. From inside the kitchen, you could hear the waves crashing; the anxiety to finally feel your toes on the sand coming towards you. So, when you finish eating and see yourself ready to meet the girls on the beach, you see Suguru entering the kitchen through the door that leads to the backyard, with a stupid fishing hat and rod. Why does he pass through every door you’re close to? Well, at least you didn’t need to ask him what he was up to, and with whom he was doing it, as Satoru passed the two of you with his own fishing rod and hat leaning on his shoulders, walking as idiotically as he always does, to the entrance door.
“We are going fishing”, says Suguru, after a few seconds of awkward silence in the room, as you both follow Gojo and his stupid walk until he passes through the front door. You drink the coffee from your mug, looking at him from head to toe. Then, looked at Suguru and did the same thing: flip flops, camouflage shorts, a button up shirt with Hawaiian flower print —not to mention the hat with two or three visible holes in it. He could say you were judging it. all of it.
“…Indeed” you said for politeness, as he was still standing there waiting for you to say something. Actually, he was the one who looked like wanted to say something else, gathering courage —or perhaps trying to swallow his pride. Suguru finally clears his throat before speaking:
“Thank you for the blanket yesterday” he says, fast, faster than he’s ever done talking to you. Getou, then, walked away from the kitchen, as if he was too embarrassed to thank you and to stay and listen to your answer, or even scared of your answer. His gratitude surprised you, though, as you thought he was dead asleep. Maybe he was a light sleeper, you wonder. You take the last sip and put your mug inside the sink.
“Yeah. Whatever” he is about to leave the kitchen and you stay there a minute or two to avoid walking next to him to the beach. Just now you noticed your face getting hot and redder. It was, for sure, the hot coffee you just drank. Of course.
You, your mom, Getou’s wife and daughters spent the whole day on the beach. Mimiko and Nanako took a bunch of pictures together before heading into the water, while you stayed there watching Gojo’s boat entering the open sea and listened to the moms talking about the good weather. The monotony you expected for a vacation, finally. Later that day everyone had the fishes the fishing duo brought home. Not you, though: you had the misfortune to watch them preparing the poor fishes and lost your appetite. So you had the leftovers from lunch for dinner. You saw Suguru sleeping watching movies that night too.
Tumblr media
“But I don’t want to” you try to say to your mom while she walks you to the garage.
“Honey, it will be quick. You just need to buy a cute present for the girls” the car was parked on and you could see Suguru in the driver's seat and his wife by his side. Mimiko and Nanako had spent the whole morning on the beach and went napping after lunch, that’s when your mom dragged you to this situation.
“But why both of them, if it’s only Mimiko’s birthday?” you stopped a few meters away from the car and spoke as low as you could, trying not to be rude with the girls’ parents just there. Your mom looked at you with a funny smile, like you were joking. Until she figures out you were not.
“…They are twins, honey.” What? Since when?
“What do you mean, mom? The party last year was Mimiko’s only!” you whispering screams to her.
“No, Nanako threw a surprise party for Mimiko, but it was her birthday too. They are your friends, how did you not know?”
“I don’t know… But they looked pretty alike, indeed.“ your mom rolls her eyes at you, laughing, and pushes you into the car, as Suguru honked lowly. “It’s our secret”, she says, putting the seatbelt on you.
You could finally see his car closely: the same you saw taking the girls off your house, one year ago. It was huge inside, the seats in white leather and the sunroof above your head cleared the trip. It was a silent route until the nearest city, except for the times Getou’s wife asked something about your life to break the ice, such as ‘how is the college, what about the french boys, what do the girls like to do when you’re together?’ of course you omitted a little information on the last question…
As expected, Suguru spent the whole time without speaking a single word, but you felt your heart race a bit faster when his wife asked the boys question and he looked straight at you through the rearview mirror, and waited for your answer as much as she did. You just said they did not interest you, looking away from the black haired man.
The car parked close to a mall and the three of you walked inside to pick a present. You wanted to get a teddy bear or something, but their mom wanted to give them a pair of dresses. Yeah, it was probably better. Suguru went out of sight to look for a present himself.
“What if it doesn’t fit them?” you ask, showing the two clothes on the hanger, black for Nanako and white for Mimiko. Both same number. Getou’s wife took the black one from your hands and hung it close to your torso, like she was measuring you.
“You lent them your swimsuit, didn’t you? Then the dress is probably fitting you, too. And if it fits you, it must fit the girls” and pushes you along with the black dress to the fitting room; everything happened so quickly, you were still processing her sentence. You came out once finished to show her, the dress fits almost perfectly on your body, emphasising all your curves and showing off your shoulders. It was not too short, but not too long either: the perfect size to not be either nun nor vulgar.
“You look gorgeous!” you could hear her saying, but the moment you opened the curtain your eyes met immediately with Suguru’s. He had a gift bag in hands and was talking to his wife, something you couldn’t hear. And then he looks at you. And you forget all for a minute. His eyes, such beautiful raven eyes shining to you, completely mesmerised, staring from head to toe. Staring so much, you started getting shy and tried covering your body, insecure; which he noticed and looked away, ashamed as well. Just then you remember his wife was still talking and you smile at her.
You changed back to your clothes and they bought the two dresses. You ended up buying a pair of teddy bears for the girls too. The way back went silent and, this time, Suguru didn’t look at you through the reflection. Not once.
He was the first one to get off the car when you arrived, taking his present with him; you could hear the girls screaming from inside in happiness a few moments later.
“I noticed the way he looked at you” Suguru’s wife was looking at the sunsetting on the beach as spoke, and you were about to open the car’s door to leave. ”I’m not stupid.”
You didn’t know what to say, or if you even should say something.
“We are not together anymore, but you know that, don’t you?” She takes a moment to speak again, as lightened the single cigarette she kept in her pocket and rolls down the car windows. “Satoru and your mom keep on saying we’re together, since me and Suguru still live in the same house. The truth is: we have been divorced for two years now. You want to know why?” You didn’t need to answer.
“Because I cheated on him. I cheated on him with a coworker, and then I felt so bad, I told him. And I knew it was over the moment I said to him, but I did. And I can’t go back now.”
“You wanted to?” you dare to ask after two minutes of complete silence. She smiled and, for the first time in the conversation, looked at you.
“More than anything. I still love him. He is the best thing that ever happened to me, the love of my life, the father of my children. And what a wonderful father he is.” She smiles alone. “He has lots, lots of problems, but he loves our girls with all his heart.” That confession made your heart tight into your chest and you looked away, not knowing why you felt so hurt hearing such words. Or maybe you knew, and decided to pretend you don’t.
“You have no idea how it hurts to be looked at with cold, indifferent eyes, everyday. He tries to politely ask me to leave at least once in three months, but I always give him an excuse, hoping that, if I stay there, he will love me again…” you heard her voice cracking and knew she was crying, but couldn’t see her face. “But it’s over now. And it’s been hard for me to accept that, for a long time. I knew he went out to bars, that he met other women, but he never seemed to be affected by them. Of course, he didn’t talk to me about it, but I knew it from looking into his eyes every time he came back home late at night: meaningless, empty, cleaning a lipstick stain off his neck. It happened every weekend, and I never spoke a word, just stayed there, waiting for the time he would arrive, even hurting badly, because I knew it’d hurt more the day he came with sparkles in his eyes, when he truly met someone else." She finishes her cigarette and puts it out the window, then opens the door and gets out of the car, looking at you as asking to do the same. You do, taking the present bag in your hands, not saying a single word. It was already dark outside.
“And, of course, it happened. Later than I expected, but it did. I noticed the way he started taking care of himself again, his good humor. He was actually talking to me, sometimes. Suguru planned the surprise party with Nanako, since she doesn’t , but Mimiko does. He gave her the pass to invite anyone she wanted to the party and, as I heard, Mimiko loved it. And I heard you were there, too” and looked at you, waiting for your response. It took you by surprise and, on a jump, you answered her a shy ‘yes’. She gives you a weak laugh.
“He did the party not only for Mimiko, but because he knew you’d go. He knew you were friends with the girls. And it all makes sense now”  Your chest falls to the ground. The emerging anxiety. You felt it coming from the beginning. The moment she would say what you were most afraid of. Your legs started shaking. You can hear her laughing lowly again. “The way you two stared at each other when Satoru introduced you, I could see his heart falling from his chest, and you ran off as soon as yours started escaping through your eyes. Then, he ran too, not a bit worried about disguising. Neither of you.”
“Did you…?” you try to ask, hesitantly. “Hear your discussion? Yes. And I want you to know that he truly felt something for you. After that day, he stopped going out to bars and walked around like a ghost in our house, getting outside his deskroom only to visit Satoru.  I won’t lie, at first I was happy that you two didn’t work, but later I saw that it wouldn’t make him want me again…”
You didn’t know what to feel. All this time feeding your hatred, all this time thinking he used you. His wife —or better, ex wife, stopped in front of you now, holding your hands. You could now see the smudged mascara on her face and the red eyes from the tears. It almost made you cry too. “You shouldn’t suffer anymore, neither of you. I  don’t know if you feel something for him yet, but talk to him, speak your truth. At least try. He deserves to be happy again.”
And as she says it, looking deep into your eyes, Suguru shows up to turn off the car. You can hear him asking ‘why are you taking so long?’ from afar. The woman swipes the tears off her eyes and gives you a small smile before leaving.
You see Getou getting closer and seeing his ex wife walking away, clearly not understanding what happened, and too hesitant to ask. You walk inside too, silent, still processing everything that she told you.
Tumblr media
A week and a half later passed and you didn’t talk to him. Nor to anyone, practically. You now knew he wasn’t sleeping in the living room unintentionally, and you observed that he would only enter their room to change after a bath when she was downstairs. It all made sense now.
You actually avoided staying much time in the same room as him after that conversation. You felt so confused with everything and everytime you tried to formulate a coherent discussion in your head, ended up mad alone. Even after all she said, you were still angry and remorseful.
To try and quieten your mind, you started to walk alone to the beach at night with only a towel to sit on, as watched the waves crashing into the sand for a moment; the cold night wind kissed your skin painfully as you always forgot a coat. Sometimes, like this one, you brought an old book from your grandma’s shelf, just to pass the time without thinking much.
“May I sit?” you hear a very known low voice from behind you ask. Fuck. For that sentence alone made you shiver more than the sea’s cold breeze. You ran from him the whole time and when you finally found a place to escape his appellant presence, Suguru shows up like it’s nothing.
“No” you answer, turning the books page —not reading at all. He sits anyway, making the beach towel sink deeper into the sand. You do not even try to disguise your discontent with his presence, “Why are you so inconvenient?”
“You forgot your coat on the couch” you look at him, searching for it in his hands, then look up, waiting for him to give it to you. He smiles at your confused face and you know he will laugh any moment. “What? I didn’t bring it with me” It made you remember why he and Satoru were best friends.
“Then why the fuck did you say it?” you get up, close your book and move away from Suguru, heading back home. That was the final drop. Everything he did made you angry and other many feelings you hate having. You can hear him screaming ‘wait’s from behind but didn’t mind looking back.
You felt his hand reaching yours as you stepped on the entrance balcony; you looked down, Suguru was recovering his breath. His ebony hair messed by the wind covered his already low lighted face. You pull your hand back, huffling. “What is it that you want, Getou?”
“Mai said you had something to say to me” he says, thinking you knew what he was talking about. “She told me you would be in the beach”
“Who is Mai?” you ask him, as it was obvious you don’t know.
“…My ex wife?” oh. Of course it was her. Of course she would say something if you didn’t for long. And how did she know you were going to the beach at night? Fuck. Fuck. Fuck! You take a deep breath and try to look calm to him:
“I’m sorry, but I ain’t got nothing to talk about with you. She must have been mistaken” and you walk away. Again, he stops you from reaching the door. “Fuck! What!”
“You’re lying.” Suguru looked like a mountain blocking your way, his perfume inebriating your thoughts, giving you an almost headache. You try to say that you’re not, but he doesn’t let you finish: “I know you are. You’ve been all quiet since the girls birthday”
“And what does it have to do with you?” you rasply stay on the defensive, not letting Suguru get a thing from you —
“It has. I know. Don’t act foolish.” you say a hard ‘i’m not’ and he starts getting actually bothered at your brattiness. You only noticed he was blocking your way out by literally putting you against the wall. “Let me go, Suguru.”
“What happened to ‘Getou’, huh? I thought we weren’t acquaintances.“ you can see him arching his eyebrow within the yellow street light. He was turning the game against you. You looked away and gulped. “Why do you always have to be such a fucking brat? Can’t you act like a grown adult for a second?” Suguru had his hand beside your head and looked straight into your eyes, deeply. “Answer me. Answer or I won’t let you go.”
You knew, deep down, that he would let you go even if you didn’t say anything, but his gloomy stare made you feel otherwise. “It’s you. You are my problem, Suguru. Are you happy now?” his gaze softened a bit on surprise, as he wasn’t expecting for you to really speak. “I’m fucking tired. I ain’t got a day of peace in my life since I met you. I asked my mom to come to this fucking house because I wanted to avoid you and, as a result, I’m stuck here with you and your family for three weeks. It’s like the most I run from you, the more I come closer. I can’t take this anymore” you were almost crying as finally overflowed your feelings. “And you think it’s been easy for me, now? Do you think it’s easy when all you do is treat me like shit?” Getou spoke so loud that he had to lower himself mid sentence to not wake everyone sleeping inside. “You deserve it all.” you two shared a stare as sharp as a sword, as deadly as a poison.
“For what, you spoiled little brat? Huh? Tell me.” his face was as close to yours as it could be. His angry face made you swallow dry and feel your cheeks warm; his arms on each side of your head kept on preventing you from leaving. It wasn’t going as planned.
“For wanting your bestfriend’s stepdaughter, who is your daughters friend as well, and playing with her feelings.” you raised your head, proudly.
“I never played with your feelings, darling.” the black haired man said it so softly you almost felt for it all again just by being called a pet name.
“And what about you knowing I was your bestfriend’s stepdaughter, huh?” He gulped.
“...Is that a crime?”  You sarcastically laughed, not believing he actually answered you this.
“Fuck off, Getou. I’m tired of this shit.” and you move his blocking elbow, heading to the entrance door. Fuck it, fuck him. It will never change, he just wants to fucking use you.
“Wait, it was a joke.” he says your name a couple times but you enter the house anyway, leaving the door open, as you knew he’d come after. “Wait, I didn’t know it was you when we first met!” Suguru tries an ultimatum to get your attention, which he succeeds. You turn around and stop to listen to him finally speak his truth, after a year: “Satoru showed us a picture of his wedding where you appeared. I asked him who you were, as I didn’t attend it. He said your name, and that you were his new stepdaughter. Then, I forgot about it.” you kept on quiet, not knowing if you should believe him or not.
“I didn’t approach you that night at the bar knowing who you were. I was actually observing you for a while before, I’m not the kind of guy to do that. I don’t usually approach women, just stay there waiting for some to come to me, but that night, I felt that I had to try it on you. I don’t know why. I did think your face looked familiar, but it had been such a long time, I didn’t remember the picture anymore. Just when you said your name it came to my mind: it was the same name Satoru told me. And, then, it was too late already. I tried to keep my distance after that, but it was so hard. I couldn’t stop thinking about you. I told Nanako to throw a party knowing that she would meet you days after and invite you; I stayed home hoping to find you there, even knowing how risky it was for the girls to find out. I don’t know what you did to me or why I felt that way.” Suguru looked so nervous while speaking, like he had never shared his feelings like this ever in his life; his guard was so down, he seemed so vulnerable, as you’d never think would see him. You didn’t know what to say nor feel anymore. “Please, believe me. I can’t keep on with you hating me anymore.”
“So you confess you knew I’d be your daughters friend and threw a party just to get me? So you were, indeed, using me?” you spoke after a moment of pure silence in between. Suguru couldn’t believe his ears.
“Fuck! I just confessed to you, girl! You only listen to what you want, don’t you?” He seemed desperate now; you laughed at him, having fun on his frustration. You were actually happy to finally hear him confessing, but wanted to throw a tantrum anyway. Just because.
“Stop screaming. I don’t feel like forgiving you yet. You still used me, Suguru. Goodnight.” and you turn your back to him, heading to your room, laughing lowly by yourself. You hear him saying a ‘come back here’ and his steps coming after you. You try to run from him but the next thing you see is his back upside down, as he puts you up his shoulders. You wanted to scream but knew it’d wake the house, so you stap his back as hard as you could —not making a single scratch, though. Getou throws you on the couch he’s been sleeping for the last few weeks, and it smelled exactly like him.
When you open your eyes, Suguru is on top of you, his long silky hair strands falling into your face, giving you tickles. You only noticed he was holding your wrists once you tried getting up. His face slightly changes and gets closer until you feel his lips on your neck. “What are you doing?”
“What are you doing?” He repeats your question. “I want you to forgive me, then do it” his voice was lower than usual. All Getou did was smell your beachy skin and only that shivers you from head to toe.
“You think I’m going to forgive you like this?” you try to look indifferent but are actually shaking inside. And you hate that you’re feeling it. You hate how easy he can get you again.
“Yes. Is it working?” Suguru looks up at your face and you look away fastly. He smiles against your skin. He knows it is.
“N-no” Fuck. Your voice betrays you once again. You gulp n shame and clear your throat before speaking: “It is not. Let go of me, please.”
“Do you truly want me to get off? Then say it.” You don’t answer and turn your head, trying to avoid his stare. He laughs at your face. “You can’t, right?”
“Fuck you.” Now you do answer and look back at him, who, as you knew, was already looking at you with a mother-fucking-son-of-a-bitch-he-is-an-asshole smile on his face. “Fuck me, love? That’s what you want?” your face turns hot. erupting hot.
“I hate you.” you firmly say, but the heat on your face starts running down your body. He comes closer to your face, so close you felt his breath, his ebony gaze not blurring once. He lets go of your wrists and holds his weight on one arm supported beside your head. “Say it again”
“I hate you, Suguru. I fucking hate you for everything you’ve done.”
He touches his lips on yours, not moving a single bit. Your whole body shivers feeling his free hand opening your thighs for him to fit in between. Your breath fails for every move of his and you stay there, static. He retreats his face a bit and stops for a moment, just staring at you. Then he clicks his tongue and starts getting up “Well, that’s it, then. If you don’t want me anymore, there’s nothing I can do about it.” you have a small panic, your body responds before you could even think and pull him over you again, desperately smashing your lips straight to his mouth. You could feel him smile, as if his plan had succeeded.
You hated to admit, but it felt just like the first time. You felt your heart exploding, your whole body tingling, you didn’t want to let him go ever again. You unconsciously moan on his lips and he moves away to mock you. “Fuck you” you say, as he responds “I’m going to”.
His left hand squeezed your ass the same time he started putting your shorts down, in pure desire. If you asked Suguru what day was, he wouldn’t know what to respond, the only thing passing through his head was you. you. you all along. “I missed you, love” he whispers in your mouth like a secret you’d swallow. “I missed you so much. I’m so sorry”, he kept on confessing between kisses, not giving you any opening to answer back. But, of course, you missed him too. Missed passing your fingers through his silky raven hair, smelling his delicious cologne, kissing his pretty lips. And, the most, missed his rough touch on your body. He made you feel like no other boy your age could ever do.
“I wan’ you so much, Sugu, please.” you were practically begging him to do something more than kissing your lips feverishly, and you knew he was doing it purposely. He wanted to provoke you for being a brat. “But I thought you hated me, baby, what ur’ so eager for?” you whine loudly and he rubs his hard bulge on his sweatpants in your covered pussy just to stir you up.
When you were about to kiss him again, the two of you hear the creaking stairs and froze, looking at each other widened eyes. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!
“Dad?” you could hear Mimiko's voice as she looked for the light switch at the end of the ladder. Suguru fastly gets up and you look for your shorts to put on. He throws his blanket over his pants and you get up from the couch, pretending to be speaking something with him. All of this happened so fast but you felt like minutes had passed when the girl finally turned the light on. You squeezed your eyes to the sudden change. “Oh, you’re here. I was going to ask dad to get you on the beach. You forgot the movie night? Gosh, it’s freezing here.” she says while hugging her arms. Movie night. Of course.
“N-no, I was just heading up. Getou and I were talking about, huh…”
“—She was telling me the time to feed Princess, that’s it.” Thank god Suguru took the hint. You nodded and smiled at her, who didn’t really care.
“Uh, are you guys finished, then? Let’s get going, Nanako was almost asleep when I came down” Mimiko turns around and goes upstairs again.  You look at Suguru and he smiles at you, as giving you the permission to go without feeling bad about it.
“Sorry…” you say and walk to where he is sitting to give him a kiss goodnight before heading to your room.
Fuck.
