hello! yep i have alot of info

so for a creature breakdown - pete and andy are both werewolves, pete being a halfblood, andy a pure blood (for more info on those u can check out my last written post its all abt werewolves) petrick is a fae which is someyhing between a nymph and a fairy id say.???? theyre descendants of the greek muses so they tend to have artistic abilities. theres different types of fae folk, patrick is the most regular basic one. besides his artistry, his fae features include golden skin defects (freckles, moles, scars etc.), golden blood (well its not really golden, it becomes golden when it oxidizes) and golden bits in his hair. the main thing tho is how he is oercieved. when first looking at him he looks almost glowy? like if you applied a blur filter and turned up the brightness of an image. that goes away as ones eyes get used to him.

joe is a tree nymph. kinda the same family as faes but nit quite. hes strongly connected to nature amd trees and olants in oarticular. some parts of his skin are rougher, like bark. he can manipulate nature in small capacities, think reviving a house plant, growing a tiny flower or a mushroom or blooming flowers. hes also a little stiffer in the joints and gets moodshifts and headaches if not exposed to sun for too long, as his cells are oartly plant cells so he does photosunthesize a little.

fobs part in the au is just like mcrs, just navigating life as creatures. most of this au follows the "canon" so its just what if bandom was bandom, just not human. i like doing the worldbuilding and making up little scenarios for them, so theres no overarching plot over this tbh. theres some smaller subplots that are changes or completely made up tho

one of those is petekey. summer of '05 pete fell for mikeys siren atributes, and he fell hard and fast. they dated a couple months, then the charm of mikeys aura and summer wore off and mikey noticed. bcs of his "powers" my guy has some deep trust issues so as soon as he started noticing change, he broke it off to not get hurt again. pete was heartbroken for a bit but then noticed the charm wearing off too. it was a lil bitter between them for a bit but it got talked out. pete wrote a few songs, the hopelesd romantic he is, thinking abt the romance that couldve been. he got over that eventually and they both went into different paths of their own lives romantically. now they remain friends with a tiny bit of awkwardness but mostly laughing abt past.

so ywah thats petekey in my au (a condensed version anyway) im a big petericker so thats what petes got going on oretty much since the mikey fiasco. there was alot of yearning and denial involved but they got together eventually so yay. i also like the idea of trohley cuz i tought i might aswell go ahead and make everyone gay while im at it. that was a thing brewing since pretty much the beginning so just a sweet uninterrupted (mostly) slow burn. some brief joetrick somwhere in there too but thats just thanks to teenage hormones and being locked in a van for weeks, nothing serious or longlived

2. suuuch a fun question because i was literally thinking the other day about how like. the flying stars are Just Big Enough that i can have them have fun stuff like roadies and consistent shows and dedicated fans but Just Small Enough that i dont have to consider big fame and can have wyjo run a merch table and stuff like That. and going on the road for shows is for Sure under that umbrella of them being the perfect size for it to be fun to consider lol !!!

they are for suuuure in the worlds shittiest tour bus to ever exist, 3 pairs of bunk beds and everyones trying to sleep with each other all the time fdsjkfkds generationally unbearable (roughly following this floor plan but not really but kinda) i think On The Bus they have, obviously, miro roope otter robo on the two bunk beds across from each other and then well. they WANT harls and tydel as their trusted roadies on the other two bunk beds. but their openers are following them in an Even Worse van and hey would you look at that. they keep disappearing. mostly tydel bc harls likes to spend his free time bothering otter and robo and then staring at miro and roope but. occasionally the urge to go hang out with the younger guys comes over him.

(i also dont think ive posted this before bc i did wanna do it with character sheets but. ive been lazy. so without going into specifics their opening band IS wyjo + nils + mav + stank + bäck. all crammed in a van)

i think because of the size differences of the two vehicles every time they stop you really do get just a wild scramble of people switching but the flying stars do NOT really leave the bus. i think the younger guys kinda swap who gets the two bunks, occasionally theyll come crash on the teeny tiny couches or god forbid at the dining table booth thing. sometimes theres the expected 6 in the bus, 5 in the van. but more often theres like, 9 in the bus 2 in the van, 7 in the van 4 in the bus, etc etc.

this doesnt include their driver who i dont think needs to be a Staple of the Stars but would be fun to be a rotating cast member from the stars. one of those guys we all kinda get into for a season or two and then he disappears ie a csmith or a cmiller . a jhanley even!

BUT GENERAL SHENANIGANS RATHER THAN TECHNICALITIES like u were actually probably hoping for LOL.

i think theyre pretty clean and not super crazy rockstar lifestyle making everyones lives miserable - helped infinitely by miro and otter's den mother instincts as well as insistence from wyjo + bäck that they need to help clean whenever they come hang out on the bus because ): its just Nice to Do...

also because the total lack of two person space, the van DOES have the appeal of um. well . getting down and nasty. whenever they make a long stop and they guys are just kinda milling around for a few hours that Van is Rockin. tydel buys a sticker for it eventually that says if the van is rocking dont come knocking and everyone wants to kill him about it (mostly harls. Actual Owner of the van)

some like. rapid fire fun tidbits i guess! because otherwise i will spend all day writing long musing paragraphers lol!!!

whenever it's wyjo's turn to drive the van delly. shocker. is in there. and wyatt has driven actually maybe 30 miles the whole fucking tour because delly is like ahhh i can do it dont worry :D

sometimes nils and oskar get on the van with the flying stars and robo and otter (notorious swede lovers) just Observe Them interacting with miro and roope like a nature documentary... They Think They Like Each Other??? But They Also Keep Insulting Each Other's Whole Cultures.... Its Confusing

sometimes hair dyeing takes place in the teeny tiny shower. usually for roope. sometimes wyjo or nils need a touch up. every time its bad. every time they almost flood the fucking bus.

Manager Joe will come hang out on the bus if hes going to be at one of their shows, Manager Joe will NOT be stepping foot near that van because he KNOWS whats been going on in there with his pseudo son.... the vans rocking sticker........ sickos....

somebody hotboxes the van once (nobody will confess to it being them) and the sticking smell eventually pisses everyone off so bad for days that they only communicate in terse one to two word responses (and this is why nobody will confess) (i will though. its mav and stank. and guess whos complaining the loudest. mav)

robo almost gets tattooed on the bus once because roope swears he can do it and they get real fucking close before otter reminds him what theyve done at that table hes about to get tattooed on. numerous times. and robo is like. oh. i actually dont want to get an infection and die. and then miro and roope are mad as fok because what do you mean that was a Surface Option this whole time and also WHEN ARE YOU GUYS DOING THAT

theyre all just sharing clothes at some point. nobody knows what belongs to who. their wardrobes will never recover. stank almost wore oskar's pants once and didnt even notice somehow.

one night they have to keep stopping the bus because their driver is experiencing an Illness and theyre all like damn this sucks. and harls is like well I could just drive for a few hours. and this is how they unlock harls Lore ("you have a cdl?????" "im forklift certified too" "WHY")

but also he doesnt often volunteer to drive because. they have someone for that. and also he wants to hang with the fellers..

they can never agree on food when stopping so they can never just Go To a Restaurant. they have to go to one of those strip rest stops with like 6 different eateries. and then its always just like roope and wyjo getting something different from the group because they just whine the loudest abt it and everyone else was fine

the aux is a NIGHTMARE. the girls are all fighting. usually theres enough overlap they can kinda decide an order or queue that makes sense for them. except miro. they do not let miro pick the music. ever.

as up each others asses they are 24/7 while traveling, they do actually really respect the Need for Privacy to an extent. if miro and roope are having a quiet conversation on the couches robo and otter will go hang out in their bunks or in the van, they let wyjo spread a puzzle out on the table when he needs time away and nobody bothers him about it (that much), sometimes stank and mav request private driving time, robo will take a minute or two to sit up with the driver alone, etc etc

it was a christmas gift i think i said friend in original ask it was for my brother but hes my friend lmao so it was a bit of a piss-take/jokey because we’re like that idk

the like actual gift was a gift card for like a local games/anime/comics/pop culture stuff store called area 52 but their gift cards are metal tokens which is cool but yeah so was inspired by that to do something alieny

and was heavily inspired by i recentlyish had played started playing roblox pressure with a tumblr friend and love the documents i was gonna like redact with marker some things but forgot (redacted in the images here uh place names even though ive said the store name and its local to our city and also his name for idk a smidgeon of privacy)

(made my own stamp out of floor mat foam but forgot to mirror it so had to stamp it onto a piece of paper and then onto the file so thats why that is shitty)

(i had to make up a few characters sorry i went through again and couldnt find L i know you mentioned that you have used it before but i couldnt find it, i think i used my own B G L and X didnt do j q or z because yep) (also huge shout out to your updated Y its so much easier lmao) (like the three diamonds i was getting good at writing by hand ( idk if youre stylus or mouse or finger when digital arting but i can imagine if i were using a mouse itd take me probably 6 minutes to draw one Y) if did the top ^^^ then the bottom vvv instead of 1 diamond 1 diamond 1 diamond but yeah idk lmao)

the notebook was the day by day musings of detective inspector theodore allen from PISSER and his like descent into obsession over glorp over the course of like a week and yeah basically had a translation table from xaellian(?) xaels series of glyphs to english in it because hes not as like pattern coded idk (me when i saw 1234 (what) and 4234 (that) in one of your xael arts and that led me to fit together almost their whole character set) but yeah he had to like translate a series of clues that led to more clues that led to his actual gift which were yeah metal gift tokens which its sci-fi so glorp called them credits it did take him about an hour to solve everything lmao but it was like 11pm when he started and had been a big day idk

celeste is a game ive only played a little of, but i love it so far. its a platformer about a trans woman named madeline climbing celeste mountain, and encountering a personification of her self doubt that she has to overcome to get to the top. i lovee the style of the game its so pretty and way easier than i expected it to be, which is great for me because im garbage at every game in the world that isnt muse dash or disgaea

phantom brave is a game set in the same universe as disgaea which crosses over with it, i havent played more than a few minutes of the game but obviously i love it so far cause its similar to disgaea. im waiting to jump fully into it until i finish d1 and d4 though

omori is also very self explanatory. i downloaded it off my friends steam account and he and i have been playing it together, im not far in but obviously i like it, i knew i would. aubrey is sooo mecore <3 i really need to keep playing it... i should have gotten into omori sooner. actually no i take that back because i think 14 year old me getting into omori would have been so world-ending that it would have shattered my psyche

I have so many!!! I definitely can't name every single one but heres a few that have been extremely influential to me!! This took me 2 hours to write i am SO sorry lmao

Puyo Puyo (Specifially Fever, Quest, and Tetris)

CUTESY BRIGHT BRIGHT COLORS!!!!!! Thats everything I love!!!!!! I'm pretty sure I talked about this when I first got into puyo puyo but I for SURE instantly decided that yep Im steering my style in this direction sorryyyyyy!!! I just think its so fun and silly and cute and rahhh it makes me so happy.

Especially for the work I do most often, which is character portraits without backgrounds, I will often look at puyo puyo posing just to get ideas!! (I've drawn Arle's dumbfounded pose 100000000 times becus I love it so much). The puyo puyo anatomy has very noodly arms and legs but with big ass shoes and accessories which is probably my favorite design thing in the world....

I seriously recommend just looking through the Puyo Puyo Nexus wiki for pose ideas (if you want something cute/silly of course) because every single one is just perfect. I am trying to get out of some dumb art habits of my own right now, but hopefully in the future you'll be able to see more goofy poses with sillier effects :3

Muse Dash Again I want you to look at the COLORS. Its so bright and this time you can really tell where I took my shading style from. I dont want my shadows to be dark I want them to be PINK or PURPLE. thank you. For my own art, I really try to make it so the darkest "black" is actually a deep purple or blue, and as I keep making art that dark color keeps getting just a bit lighter haha...

This is also the reason I color my lineart the way I do. I just really want to add as many colors as possible into the image. And if the image looks a bit more pink after that then thats just an extra perk!!

I also need to bring up the animation because they're just so bouncy and alive!!! This is like an instant stunlock for me, I have to look at them, theyre so BOUNCYYY!!!!!! I don't do much animation but every other week I get the sudden urge to try tweening again just to eventually get to the point I can make something similar to these for my own ocs lol

Great Pretender This show has some of the most gorgeous art ive ever seen. All the backgrounds are so bright and colorful. I dont usually draw art with backgrounds anymore sadly, but when I used to I really tried to study these for them. And I hope in the future I can make more art and show how far I've come.

Though I;ve changed to a more chibi style in recent times (thanks puyo puyo), this was still one of the first times I had ever watched a show and said "Oh my god I love this artstyle I need to get better at art" and Its always in my mind for that reason.

first of all. only girl living in la is an INSANE way to start an album. Like i knew i was absolutely in for it seeing the track list and that we were Starting with a 6 minute long song i was like Oh she loves me specifically she knew id been tormented by songs that are 2 minutes long for too long. i dont think ive ever finished the first song on an album and been, like, scared to listen to the rest of it before (good thing)

"favorite" not in the way where i listen to it a lot favorite in the way where i can barely listen to it at all

also one more thing i feel like in general the album is organized very well does that make sense. like the songs are in a specific order that is good and makes sense. only girl living in la -> ego -> dog years -> letter to god 1974 is an insane run of songs generally let alone first on the album but also it like. makes sense why theyre in that order. also darwinism -> lonely is the muse -> arsonist -> life of the spider i can say the same of. like yeah thats the exact order those songs should go in. this is really not a Shuffling Album to me at ALL theres a specific order they all go in and i really like that Bc half the time These Days it feels like everythings so focused on having 2 minute long songs with 15 second clips that blow up on tiktok that its always nice to have an album thats like. Ok thankgod they actually give a fuck about this and its not optimized for social media analytics

I read it and omg it turned out amazing like the way you described Valentino’s and Velvette’s demon form has a chokehold on me I never really see people portray Velvette as an actual doll too much it’s mostly just a comment that’s it so you just going all out on that was so good and Valentino being the one with the cool head during this was nice but also fitting normally people would make Val a brainless idiot or a manipulative dick so him being just calm and strangely scary was a nice change but I can totally see him being more like a evil all his moves are calculated type overlord whenever someone he honestly cares about is at stake or hurt we really just need more found family vees but Vox literally just letting himself get kidnapped was such a pleasant surprise I didn’t expect myself to be so spot on about the fact Vox really has more control over the situation and don’t get me started on Alastor I just love the way you always give Vox and Alastor a muse x painter dynamic so this story was just the epitome of that trope but come on Alastor don’t be stingy let the vees go to y’all’s wedding another thing I love dramatic stories but it’s always so funny thinking what the other characters think like can you imagine Charlie’s confusion when Vel says he kidnapped Vox and he just like yeah I did lol Lucifer coming in to save Charlie he probably doesn’t really care about what’s happening let alone knows. haha thank you!! i based velvettes demon form off those like, old stories about those haunted dolls like annabelle and such. i think the dichotomy between a sinners regular and demon form is such an interesting concept to explore- i think personally that a sinner's demon form is their 'true' self-- since so many sinners and overlords especially wear a mask to hide their true faces, when they turn to their full demon form they shed that mask in a sense. from vals actions in masquerade, i developed this headcanon that val is the type of person who throws little tantrums for fun, but when he gets Really angry, his anger is cold and calculating more than anything. in that way, he's a lot like vox, except... well, vox is able to keep more of a lid on things most of the time because he Has To as the face of the vees. so yeah, i def agree with you! found family vees really does have my heart, they're the worst and they love each other <3

i just wanted to say re: gregsang. i haven’t really seen this explored anywhere but i personally really enjoy the idea of yi sang and specifically g corp gregor friendship/relationship. i think in my mind it started just because yi sangs fascination with his mirror self’s wings, i think he would think greg’s are cool despite the circumstances then i realized they actually have a bit in common. being traumatized into states of detachment (g corp greg’s uptie 3 cutscene specifically mentions this), both have had something they were proud of tarnished and used to hurt people (Severely misguided in g corp greg’s case but That’s propaganda for you). Guys who have had the light leave their eyes should sit and have quiet time together. i think yi sang would not be grossed out by the bug features at all…. Just something to consider…

also also going 🤝🤝🤝 (handshake emoji) with you in regards to being disappointed greg’s arm is not actually that roach-like even though that’s the bug he’s being associated with by the writers. i really like cockroaches. AND with “i think they’re not done with exploring rodyas backstory” and actually analyzing her behavior esp her guilt and behaviors I Fucking Love Rodya

oh the g corp gregsang angle is so interesting.. yi sang can be a little shallow about appearances if he so desires. he would like to touch a wing if allowed. i dont know how g corp greg would react to being admired in a aesthetical sense than physical. yi sang isnt interested in his bug talons because they tear flesh well, but because they make a clacking noise not unlike a hollow bamboo stalk. or some other uniquely strange observation that drives him. and drives gregor away a bit, its a little overwhelming for the little guy

theyre both very troubled fellas who would find great company in eachother i hope.. in relation to another person theyre usually the recessive personality to be overpowered, so it is interesting to see how they would manage with only themselves. yi sang is moreso compliant rather than gregor who is suppressed.

would gregor be excited to be the driving force of their relationship? or is it dampened because well.. yi sang isnt very hard to sway. is yi sang drawn to gregors gruff and uncoordinated, gregorisms? or is he making this old codger something more poetic for himself?

gregsang is a nice little puzzle in that sense for they dont have an obvious reason why they work like other gregor or yi sang pairings. but thats just me getting philosophical over pixels kissing. thanks for the musings.
