Jimin & Jungkook in 2023 – What Makes Them Special?

We've seen a lot of threads about Jimin and Jungkook lately, talking about their lives, sexualities, personalities, relationships, and everything else.

But let’s be real: no matter your stance, their bond is undeniably special—way deeper than just "friends."

It’s always been unique, but 2023 put them under a microscope (of anties, especially). But even then, they did things that screamed "DIFFERENT", pointing to a much deeper emotional connection—one that stands apart.

Jungkook’s ALL-IN Support for Jimin’s Album

Let’s talk about how Jungkook went out of his way to hype Jimin’s first personal album.

This is different cause … he DIDN’T DO THE SAME for anyone else

NOT visiting anyone else’s rehearsals while being recorded,

NOT reacting to their content in VLives,

NOT jumping onto his live streams, and

NOT publicly congratulating anyone else on Weverse, or commenting his related posts

Not saying he wasn’t supportive of the other members (he totally was), but the energy was different. This wasn’t OT7 vibes; this was “Jimin-first” energy.

The member who has supported Jimin the most in Ch2 is Jungkook…….as well as Jungkook is the member that Jimin has always needed to praise the most…

2. Jungkook openly saying he missed Jimin and wanted to spend time with him. FINALLY!

It’s funny how some antis claim the car conversation proves they weren’t seeing each other, even though we literally saw them together at Yoongi’s concert just two weeks earlier.

Plus, AYS was planned way back in April (or even earlier)!

If anything, that convo actually shows how much Jungkook wanted to spend more time with Jimin doing something different (remember the whole thing started because Jimin mentioned they hadn’t travelled together in ages).

And Jimin knew about it and that’s why maybe he always took some time to drop sweet, loving messages for Jungkook during his VLives.

Jungkook not only expressed this longing with his actions but also directly said it on Weverse, making sure both Jimin and fans understood just how much he missed him. No beating around the bush, no subtle hints—he wanted to spend time with him.

Even if we take the car convo literally and assume they didn’t see each other much early in 2023, here’s what haters ignore: they FIXED it.

Jimin suggested a trip, Jungkook was all in, and they didn’t just go once—they went three times. Jungkook’s “FINALLY” wasn’t random; it was relief.

They made it work, spent the rest of the year together, and BEYOND

3. Choosing to do a travel show together and including a visit to Tokyo

This says a lot about their intentions. At first glance, these trips might seem not relevant compared to “others,” as many would dismiss them as purely work-related. But we all saw that wasn’t the case.

With their solo projects already winning hearts, these trips weren’t needed for promotion. Plus, they could have used that time to record more things on their own, as other members did.

But nah, despite their busy schedules, they took three trips, the best on of their lifes, and planned activities the other would love, and simply made time to be together (FINALLY!☺️) and shared that joy with us.

They even spent private moments in the US, Jeju Island (if we count the night before 😉) and in Tokyo, a meaningful place for them, and spent their last days together before enlisting.

Jungkook did also travel to Busan & Jeju with friends, to Japan with Eunwoo or to skiing with Tae & his friends, especially at the beginning of the year, when he had more free time.

The fact that most of these trips revolved around fun physical activities or enjoying food doesn’t seem like a coincidence—after all, this is Jungkook we’re talking about! 😊

These outings were casual, open, and far from secretive or overly intimate. Jungkook shared bits about them openly.

4. Prioritizing Time Together

Whether it was traveling, working, or just chilling, Jimin and Jungkook made each other a priority in 2023. They could’ve easily done other things, but nah—they chose each other. And they told us.

Okay, this might not sound like a big deal... until you think about when it happened. Like the night before Jeju.

Jungkook was fresh off a third US trip that month and must’ve been EXHAUSTED. There was no reason for them to spend that night together since they were going to be glued the next three days—except for wanting to share a private moment before the trip began, since Tae became a last-minute special guest.

Inside jokes, fave meals, random daily updates—they know it all. Considering the members haven’t lived together since like 2020, it says a lot.

Like Jungkook casually sharing in his last Vlive that he's with Jimin (every day)—they see e/o after his cooking duties or even in the shower (!)—and Jimin constantly showing how important Jungkook is to him.

What some call “name-dropping” is just them being honest about how much they mean to each other.

Stuff like plushies, bathroom selfies, or confirmation because of an fan's artwork pushed by a restaurant’s owner trying to make a buck are just silly theories— Let’s be real… Claims about their sexuality or relationships in 2023, blurry videos, or IG posts by random people are just baseless speculation.

And EVEN if some of the rumors out there did hold some truth, they wouldn’t change, NEVER, Jimin and Jungkook’s obvious REAL LOVE and emotional dependece we can all see —clear and undeniable.

I've seen taekookers saying that you can always tell who the real couple is whenever Vminkook are together because Jk is always glued to Tae instead of Jimin and I also saw them talk about the fact that taekook mostly sat side by side on AYS.

Yes I think Jk is different around Jimin when Tae is around. Jk and Jimin would obviously be different around each other when there is another person around. It could be Jin or Yoongi around them and they would still be different, them being different around each other has nothing to do with tae being there or not but just the fact that a third person will always change the dynamic of two. If we ever got a show with just tae and Jk their dynamic would be very different compared to when Jimin is around, that is completely normal.

The thing with taekookers is that they seem to have this belief that someone automatically becomes a jerk to their friends or is less nice to their friends when their lover is around and that is the narrative they have been trying to push. I saw this ridiculous thread on twitter a few days ago from a taekooker trying to show the difference in dynamics between taekook and Jikook when they are together and that post had over 4k likes even though it was filled with the most ridiculous things ever. Taekookers in my opinion are some of the most shallow, childish and inexperienced people ever because they lack the ability to look beyond the surface. As long as Jk or tae stare at each other, they see romance even if the next second they see Tae going away on his honeymoon, that wouldn’t matter because the honeymoon was set up by the company to cover up taekook’s real relationship. As long as Jk and Tae hold unto each other singing and dancing to a song at a concert they see romance even if moments later Jk is seen tongue kissing someone else, that person is a beard to cover taekook’s real and forbidden love. Taekookers would rather accuse every living thing on earth of trying to hide taekook than stopping to think that maybe they read things wrong.

I’ve seen them talk about seeing a difference between taekook and Jikook when vminkook are together, as a matter of fact that is something almost all the taekook blogs on tumblr believe in and talk about. They give examples like the HS concert in 2021, they talk about the Vminkook Vlive from 2021 and they have added AYS to the mix. Everytime I read the things they say and how they justify these points I am shocked at how shortsighted some people can be. I honestly don’t know if they really cannot see beyond the surface or if they just don’t want to look because they are afraid of what they might find or if they see but don’t want to accept it.

Let’s start with the HS concert. To them that was proof that taekook is real and Jikook isn’t because of the moment we saw of tae and Jk singing, holding hands and dancing to “falling”. There was that moment and another moment of taekook sharing drink or something and according to taekookers that was Jk and tae being glued the entire night nevermind the fact that we have footage of Jimin and Jungkook whispering to each other, sharing drinks, dancing together with Jimin’s hand over Jungkook, plus the fact that those two actually disappeared together for a while at the concert. Now, these examples of Jikook aren’t meant to prove that jikook is real either but just to show that Taekook weren’t glued all night as taekookers would like to believe but just because of those few moments they had of taekook’s interactions, they swore that the two were glued together all night and Jk didn’t even spare Jimin a glance. Now why do I say they are shortsighted? The Harry Styles concert happened on the 19th of November 2021 and then a little over a week later, we got the Vminkook Vlive (march 28th) and from this Vlive, we found out from Jimin that since they got to LA, he had been working out with Jungkook every single day, we also found out from Jimin that Jungkook was basically in his room almost all the time. Jimin said Jk visited his room about 3 times a day and that he saw Jungkook in his room way more than he saw the managers. Tae confirmed this story by telling us that he went to Jimin’s room one day and thought it was Jungkook’s because Jk was the one who answered Jimin’s door and greeted him. Mind you Jimin said Jungkook was in his room everyday and even came at night too when he was about to go to sleep, stayed there for 2-4 hours at a time and left. We also know that Jungkook was probably there every night because on the one night he didn’t go, Jimin asked why he didn’t come and he wouldn’t be asking this if Jk wasn’t a regular visitor to his room. Also, Tae thinking that Jimin’s room was Jk’s means that he didn’t even know Jk’s room. So which normal person thinks that taekook dancing together at a concert and you know, being friends proves they are dating when we know for a fact that at the same period, Tae didn’t know Jungkook’s hotel room, Jungkook was spending almost all his time in Jimin’s room and choosing to go to him repeatedly when he was lonely or bored? You see why I say taekookers are incredibly shortsighted? You don’t even have to think Jikooo are a couple but Jk clearly liked spending more private time with him that he did with Tae judging from the things they said. So how exactly could taekook be dating yet Jungkook prioritized being with Jimin over Tae? They focus on physical affection which in this case isn’t a sign of romance but of friendship, love and care and the they ignore facts because they facts shatter their fantasies. They watched the Vminkook Live and focused on 5 seconds of awkward eye contact and that to them was proof of the greatest romance but ignored everything that was said in that Live that completely debunked Taekook. Nevermind the fact that a few days after that Live, Tae attended Hobi’s live and mentioned that he had a meal with Jungkook and they had an adult conversation and Jk said he was happy. Anybody with a brain would understand that this is two people clearly catching up because it doesn’t seem like that is something they did often so after the concert Jk and Tae ate together, did some catching up and we saw Jk after he left Tae’s room still fully dressed with his combat boots on which means that he was just in tae’s room temporarily but when we saw tae a few moments later, he was already out of his concert clothes and had on more comfortable clothes you know, like he had already changed and settled in his bedroom unlike Jk who was clearly just passing by.

So let’s be serious anon, how exactly did the HS concert or the Vminkook Live show that taekook are the real couple when we know for a fact that Jk and Jimin were basically spending almost all of their time together while Tae didn’t know Jk’s hotel room? Before Tae started his Live wasn’t Jk busy eating chicken with Jimin while tae was eating alone? Tae had already showered by himself too while Jk and Jimin were talking about “we haven’t showered yet” lol. Taekookers never look beyond the surface and they don’t even realize that what they think is romance is just two people being friends and basically just dynamic.

They also think that AYS showed how real taekook is and when you ask them why, they tell you how Jk and Tae sat side by side or how Jk wanted Tae to get into the pool too or some other rubbish which proves that these people don’t have friends in real life. After watching Vminkook in AYS, I felt so validated about a post I made months ago describing Vminkook’s dynamic. Typical of taekookers to fail to look beyond the surface. Jk was seated next to Tae most of the time yet he spent the entire time interacting and talking with Jimin. How many times did taekook actually really talk to each other while seated side by side? Didn’t we all watch Jk and Jimin constantly interacting and talking while Tae’s head was buried in his phone the entire time? Let’s also talk about how taekookers claimed that “when Tae leaves the pool Jk leaves” forgetting that Jk chose to stay back with Jimin after they left the pool while Tae showered and went to bed. Jk did this on BOTH nights they were in Jeju btw. If he wanted to be stuck to Tae’s side like tkkrs claim, he would have gotten out of the pool, showered when tae was showering and gone to bed or atleast gone upstairs to be next to him while he was sleeping but that isn’t what he did. He got out of the pool, teased Jimin by locking the doors, knowing that he would have to stay back to open it for him while Tae went ahead to shower and go bed, he stayed back, played a little with Jimin, showered and they went to bed together on both nights so what exactly are taekookers talking about?

Anon, most taekookers, especially the ones here on tumblr swear they are body language experts and they can tell taekook is real because of how taekook’s bodies react to each other (lol) but ask them why Jk doesn’t seek tae out in moments of high emotions or why Jk didn’t immediately go to Tae’s room instead of Jimin’s and they pull out all the conspiracy theories under the sun. They say Jk always wanted to be by Tae’s side in AYS but ask them why Jk wasn’t rushing to his side at nights but choose to stay up playing with Jimin, showering at the same time as him and only going to bed together with him and see how fast they start contradicting themselves.

Anon, any unbiased person who watches AYS with Vminkook can very easily tell the difference between those three and no one would ever think there is anything going on between taekook. Taekookers harrassed and bullied so many unbiased reactors on youtube for seeing and mentioning how close they think Jikook are. You don’t need to be a shipper to see how clearly Jikook are different and how deeply they connect but I guess if you are someone who believes in how close people walk, or people’s sitting positions or people dancing together at concerts, then you might probably see what taekookers see. And this isn’t me saying that these things aren’t important, they are but the issue is you cannot depend only on your reading of people’s body language to prove a ship because first, body language cues could be subjective and could depend on so many things plus you cannot focus on your perception of things while ignoring all the hard facts. Jk and Tae stared at each other for 5 seconds, they are a couple/ there is attraction =Perception. Jk spends alot of time in Jimin’s room, so much that Tae once thought Jimin’s room was Jk’s, according to Jimin, Tae and Jungkook = Fact. While your perception could be wrong, facts can’t and if the fact isn’t wrong then your perception is wrong so that 5 second eye contact which you read as romance/ attraction, isn’t. If you thought taekook were a thing because you noticed that they look at each other in a certain way or they sit in a certain way, then you get to find out that in Jungkook’s free time, he mostly goes to spend time in another person’s room and also likes spending nights with this other person and basically spends almost all day with this person while Tae doesn’t even know his hotel room then doesn’t it make sense to just conclude that you must have read things wrong? But our neighbours would rather call Jimin and Tae liars before they sit to think that maybe, just maybe they read the cues all wrongs.

So anon, I do agree that when we see Vminkook together it is easy to see the difference between them and you can see it by watching them aswell as listening to the things they say. No reasonable person watches them, listens to the thing they say and comes out thinking “yea, taekook is the one” lol. That’s just ridiculous. When you actually watch them and listen to them, you actually get to understand just how complex human feelings and relationships are because so many people spend time arguing about who Jk is closer to when the truth is, he is close to Tae and Jimin in very different ways so you cannot even really compare but one thing that is clear and has always been clear is that of the two, his emotional bond with Jimin is deeper…unless someone wants to explain to me why in his moments of loneliness the one he thought of going to was Jimin even though he didnt do anything particularly interesting while he was in there with him… i’ll wait.

BTS in the UK Part Two: 2019

In May 2019, BTS travelled to London to perform at Wembley. An extra date was added due to tickets being sold out within 90 minutes and it was announced the concert would be broadcasted in real time on Vlive Plus. Art was seen on Brick Lane advertising it.

Due to the members being quiet the hashtag #FindBTSParty started, with Army making jokes about if BTS actually made it to London or not and where they were. Later on, Namjoon and Hobi also posted, revealing that they were indeed here.

BTS performed Boy With Luv on Britain’s Got Talent. At the end, Jin gave the rose to Dec. Dec later gave the rose to an Army who had waited a long time to get into the venue. 

There was plenty of support on the ground, with the Wembley stadium turning purple. There was also a chalk project at Piccadilly Circus, with Army writing messages of love on the pavement.

The BTS Hyundai advert at Piccadilly circus, with a massive crowd of Army watching. They also stayed behind to spend time together whilst singing and dancing.

Before their concert, BTS took part in a press conference, where they discussed the upcoming shows and answered questions about the group. The members posted photos from the event. One of the members then posted on twitter “C U Soon”, adding to the hype.

On 1st June, BTS began their first concert at Wembley.

Whilst making their way out of Wembley, Army sang back and forth “So show me, I show you” from Magic Shop.

After the concert, Jin posted a tweet taken from backstage. Namjoon posted a photo from the National Gallery and Yoongi also posted a selca. Yoongi then went on Vlive.

Before the second day began, some Army did Jungkook’s Euphoria fanchant on their way to Wembley. Jin also posted before the concert began.

BTS performed their second concert date:

Whilst getting ready for the encore, text appeared on the screen to indicate that ARMY TIME would happen at Wembley. 

Army then sang Young Forever, with everyone getting emotional.

After the concert, Hobi posted his thanks. Jungkook went Live after the concert. The Korean BBQ place called Olle posted the signatures of Jin, then of Jimin and Jungkook who had visited earlier in the week.

Jimin posted his thanks to his friends for attending. This flag was spotted around on the day, with the owners claiming to be friends of Jimin. Jimin later mentioned going around London with them and Jungkook. Jimin also kept the banners, which were later seen on BTS Festa in 2021.

BTS filmed episodes 91-94 in London, saying that they had to film inside the hotel because of the rainy weather.

A few days later, an interview was released where BTS were interviewed by Adele Roberts again.

On 9th August 2019, Taehyung/V released Winter Bear. The MV featured self-filmed scenes of London.

"You what?" He asks, not truly comprehending what his friend had just agreed to.

He laughs out loud at the seemingly meaningless joke. His chest rises in sharp points, as his joking reaction makes your face remain unchanged. He'd been complaining for around an hour, seeing how long he could go without a shower after coming back from a hard session's practice. He'd always procrastinate washing himself, but never excused his hygiene.

Ironically, he was possibly the most clean person you've ever known. He always loved dousing himself in expensive perfumes, a 10-step skincare, and brushing his teeth for not 3 but FOUR minutes, twice a day. If you hadn't known better, you might've mistook him for a germaphobe. Once you had seen his apartment for the first time, you'd quickly realized your accusations were limited to what everyone say everyday.

"Are you for real?" He questions, not believing that his friend of only a few months would help him with something so intimate that ESPECIALLY only couples would do.

However, you were just a good friend.

You slide the cover of your book down your thighs, sighing at his thick head.

"Seriously Jimin? You just spent almost an hour debating whether showering in the morning or afternoon is healthier. You KNOW you only did that so you could excuse your laziness." His eyes widen at your words, but he doesn't deny it.

"Yah, this ain't a free strip club." You point to the shower, watching the gears in his head finally turning to your command. This time, it's your turn to oogle at his built figure. The sweat glistens off his proportioned figure, sliding down the muscles of his arms. The veins in his hands track all the way to his protruding Adam's apple, watching it Bob up and down once before he removes another piece of his clothing.

Soon, he's left in nothing bit tight clad briefs, the Chanel red and white stripped label hugs his lower waist oh so perfectly. His lips tug into a smirk nothing how you'd been caught on his waist for one second too long. He curves his thumb to tug the elastic of his briefs down, giving you a teasing peak of his prominent v-line. He watches your cheek indent quickly, knowing that you'd bitten the inside harshly.

You shake your head to rid yourself of the impure images that had Corrupted your mind for a few moments. You meet his gaze, before motioning to the shower. He chuckles, noticing the tint of your ears matching hues with your cheeks. He stalks your figure, closing the small space that had separated the two of you, and sane from insanity.

"Aren't you going to get wet too?" His thumb comes to lift the point of your chin, narrowed eyes dark chocolate and fiery, baring down into your doe-like irises. His fingers come to toy with the elastic of your bra, before releasing it as it snaps against your skin. You flinch at the sudden act, the lump in your throat doesn't seem to faulted in rendering you speechless. His breath rolls past the shell of your ear, brushing the side of your cheek smoothly.

"No? Because.."

His steps corner you into the steamy shower until you're pressed up against the tiled wall. His eyes peer into yours, hands come up to already palm the rounds of your breasts pulling the thin fabric down to toy with the erect buds.

hiiiii!!! i've made a tutorial in the past but i thought i might update it with this tutorial (re an ask i got a few days ago)! please keep in mind that i'm far from an expert when it comes to giffing but i am open to clarification and further questions <33

DISCLAIMER! there are so many ways to make gifs! everyone has a different process, so don’t be afraid to deviate from this! also! feel free to send an ask for further clarification :)

1: converting !

one of the major issues when it comes to ensuring the best quality for your gifs is making sure that you’re using an application that maintains at least a 1080p quality of the video you use. it’s not a good idea to gif anything below 720p as the quality of the video and consequently, your gifs are not going to be the best!

i) choosing a video

if you’re going to gif, i’d recommend choosing videos that are hq!

✰ Stage Gifs

for stage gifs i use .ts files! it’s definitely easier to source a performance video from youtube, but they won’t provide you with the quality you desire. if anything, use youtube as a source for stage gifs as a last resort!

for ts files, you can use:

-> rosebay

-> twitter (search [group name] + [date of performance] + [ts])

i personally use rosebay for my seventeen performance gifs but other groups do have sites/blogs that are specific to them.

psa: kpop24hours are currently not taking in any applicants atm! best advice would be to follow them on twt and keep their notifs on in case they do

these sources (at least, rosebay) are easy and pretty self explanatory to download!

✰ Normal Gifs

for normal gifs (i.e. of interviews, behind the scenes, going seventeen, etc.) i use youtube <3 keep in mind that it’s always best to use the source most reputable to ensure quality. for example, if i were to gif an inside seventeen video, i would use the seventeen official channel’s post of that, not reposts or anything like that!

to download youtube videos, i use:

->��4K Video Downloader!

ii) how do you download youtube videos via this application?

all you have to do is:

1) copy the link to the youtube video (PSA this application only works for converting youtube videos)

2) press the green plus button on the very lefthand corner at the top

3) a window that lists the options for the video quality you want will then come up.

4) if it offers 1080p, it is almost always best to choose that for optimum quality!

5) the video will then download and you’ll be able to access it via a folder labeled 4K Video Downloader in your files app.

2. resizing and sharpening !

personally, i don’t sharpen in ps unless absolutely necessary. for most of my sharpening, i leave it to vapoursynth.

now, vapoursynth is a massive pain to download and use but it’s worth it in the end (i promise!! i’ve cried over it a lot but i probably wouldn’t be happy with posting my gifs without it)

i personally found it a bit complicated to download vs so i’ll refer you to a tutorial i used (i also got help from some of my moots bc idk how to do anything so dw if it’s confusing :sob:)

i) how to use vapoursynth now that you’ve gotten it downloaded?

this is probably the hardest part of the tutorial (at least, in my opinion) :sob: for this example, i’ll be using my 4K Video Download instead of a vlive, so if you were using a vlive, you’d have your downloads folder open instead of the 4K Video one.

1) open your files folder twice, make sure that there are two windows open - one being the vapoursynth folder (for me, it’s called VapourSynth64Portable (200722) but it depends on which version of vs you download) and another being the 4K Video Downloader folder.

2) notice the different applications (?) within the vapoursynth folder. in particular, the vapourscript (drop video file on me) one. drag the video you want to gif from the 4K Video Downloader folder onto that app, and it’ll open up a new window. this window is the timestamp window.

3) in this new window, type in the length of the video you want to gif. i personally do this bit by bit (as in, i timestamp each gif instead of letting vapoursynth run through the whole video, which, in retrospect is probably smarter but i am a Fool). for example in the video i’m giffing, i want one of my gifs to run from 0:56-0:58 of the video. so i input the start timestamp. in my case, this would be 00:00:56. and then i press enter. this would direct me to put in the duration of the video i want to encode, which, in my case, would be 2 seconds (00:00:02).

4) press enter again! it’ll open up a window on whichever internet server you use (for me, this is chrome) with a bunch of options:

5) next, you want to alter all the options so that it becomes a gif of the size and sharpening you want.

psa: all of the things below are advised options! it’s completely up to you to choose what settings you use. don’t be afraid to experiment!

ii) resizing

-> to resize, you want to use the GIF Size option. keep in mind the acceptable sizes of gifs on tumblr! if you gif something of an incorrect size, tumblr will probably destroy the quality even more than it already does and make it incredibly blurry, and you don’t want that! to prevent this, make sure to refer to this helpful guide on gif sizes for ones you could use!

for this gif, i’ll be using a 540 x 450 size.

make sure to move your gif around so that everything you want people to see in the gif is there. you can even drag the gif out to zoom in, etc.

6) input the size you desire in the width x height sections next to the GIF Size option.

iii) preprocessing

-> this indicates how fast or slow vs will make your gif. for normal videos, i use qtgmc 30 slow and debilinear. however, i’ve seen in other tutorials that it should be different for performance gifs (i.e. qtgmc 60 slow and debilinear). however, this is all up to you and your preference! experiment, and see what works for you!!

for this gif, i’ll be using qtgmc 30 slow and debliniear.

7) select the speed and debiliniear options next to the processing title.

iv) denoise filters

-> this option basically acts to smoothen your gifs!i tend to use KNLM and have actually never used BM3D before, but feel free to choose the latter!

8) choose between KNLM and BM3D (next to the denoise heading), and select the tickbox that comes up underneath it.

v) sharpening

-> this is when you sharpen your gifs! and make them look less grainy than if you were using ps directly. i personally use finesharp, but again it’s up to you!

9) choose between finesharp and VCFreq, and check the tickbox that comes up underneath it.

this is what my settings are like for this gif:

10) next! you need to alter the values for sharpening and denoise! this can be done on the coded box in the upper right-hand corner:

11) first, change the denoise filter value to whichever one you wish. for this gif, i will be using 1.8. this can be done by altering the “1.2” value in the row that has the text “video = core.knlm.KNLMeansCL(video, 0, 6, 4, 1.2, channels = "YUV”)

12) next change the sharpening value to whatever you want! for this gif, i will be using 0.33. this can be done by altering the “0.22” value in the row that has the text “video = fun.FineSharp(video, sstr=0.22).

the text box should now look like this with your altered values:

13) copy the text and you’ll notice that this window has opened on your taskbar. you will need to copy the text from here into this app - vapoursynth editor.

14) paste the text from that upper right-hand corner into the vapoursynth editor underneath the text #whatever you copied from the resizer goes here.

15) before continuing, depending on your laptop’s speed and ability to process things, i’d recommend lowering the RAM usage to something more bearable for your laptop to process without it overheating and getting damaged. i personally use 300 as the RAM usage but feel free to use whatever you want.

this is what your editor should look like now!

16) press f8 and it’ll open a new window. this will be where you get your edited video that will be good to put in ps and play around with. change the preset option to Export to MOV. and next to the header title, make sure to select Y4M in the dropdown menu. after this, you should be good to press start!

3. giffing !

now this is the part of the tutorial where you kind of get to do your own thing

i) importing

1) open photoshop and click on file, then import, and video frames to layers. it’ll open up your files.

2) what you want to do next is find the output folder. this folder can be found within your vapoursynth folder. that is:

vapoursynth64portable >> gifs >> output

3) click on the output folder and it’ll come up with another window:

make sure your settings are like this before clicking ok!

ii) actual gif making!

4) once you’ve clicked ok, it’ll direct you to the workspace. you will have the frames for your gif on the bottom and the layers on the right-hand side. i won’t go into the specifics for giffing since you asked for quality but if you’re looking for more specific instructions on how to actually gif, feel free to send in another ask or i can refer you to another tutorial!

i) timing

you can alter the timing by selecting all the frames and making it faster or slower - it depends on your preference!

ii) colouring

colouring is the foundation of your gif - it’s what makes it look good!! have fun with it, and try out different colouring! you could also look into using psds if you want! psds are basically pre-made colouring (filters, essentially) that you put over the top of your gif

5) once you’ve finished with the aesthetic steps of making your gif, it’s time to export! to export, you must click file >> export >> save for web (legacy). it’s up to you which export settings you use but make sure that your gif is under 10MB!

6) and voila <3 you’ve got a gif!

During Festa 2014, we heard from the members that Jk usually piled clothes on his bed to go sleep in Jimin’s bed and even back then, when Jk was asked which hyung comforted him the most, he said it was Jimin. Fast forward to 2015 when Tae did a Live from Japan in the hotel room that he shared with Jimin and mentioned that Jimin and Jk were together even though the 3 of them had planned to do a Live together or in 2016 where Jimin was the first member Jk ever gave a birthday gift to. I am listing some of these moments chronologically just to show u that Jimin and Jungkook had always been close, very close infact it’s just that jikook as a ship gained excess popularity in 2017 after Jungkook posted GCF in Tokyo. So it’s not really that there became an uptick in Jikook moments from there, it is that people started paying more attention to Jikook after Jungkook’s GCF. The best way to see some if these things is to watch Vlives and bangtan bombs from pre 2017 era and you will see what i am saying.

As i mentioned before, non shipper anon said Jikook used to be close till like 2021 and mentioned that their last sighting outside of work was around march 2022 but that’s not true at all. Remember that in PTD Vegas Jikook were joined at the hip, they left the concert venue together on all 4 days of the concert and one of those days, they went out to eat with Yoongi and staff and some non shipper Armys visited the restaurant they went to in Vegas and said they were told that Jikook sat together on one table and yoongi sat on another with staff. Plus Jimin and Jk still boxed together with Tommy Saem (Jk’s boxing coach) and based on that April 2022 Live with Vminkookkhope, jikook were even on a diet together. So many times people forget to facture in the point that Jimin started working on his album in May. Immediately after PTD in Vegas Jimin moved in with Pdogg to work on his album because he literally had nothing prepared so i can imagine that during that period, Jk and Jimin didn’t spend as much time together because Jimin was busy and i also noticed that Taekook seemed to get really closer during that period. Infact we all saw taekook hang out outside of work more frequently by the end of 2022 and part of 2023 than we had seen in all their 10 years of being BTS. Like anon said, jikook were the ones always together everywhere both in and outside of work. Even in 2021 while they were in LA, we found out that Jikook worked out together everyday, came back from concerts together, ate together and untop of that, Jk spent alot of time in Jimin’s room hanging out with him. So i feel like the distance we sensed between jikook starting 2022 was mainly because of how busy Jimin got. It tracks.

I am not someone who really believes that any of the members are dating each other but i know that Jimin and Jungkook have and have always had an extremely close bond since debut. It wasn’t always very visible because of their somewhat complicated dynamic and because of the fact that other pairings like taekook, yoonmin and Vmin overshadowed jikook but that bond had always been there and if you pay attention, you see it.

I believe that taekook too have always been close but i also believe that there was a period where they grew a little distant. I know that, that is not something taekookers will ever agree about but it is clear to me because i have been in this fandom since the end of 2015 and have watched alot of things unfold. I agree that jikook were paired up alot at some point but i think that was because of their chemistry and closeness and not because BH had some agenda to push. How does pairing pple in subunits potray them as closest or a couple? Jikook as a ship gained recognition and popularity not because of the company but because of Jungkook and his GCF and yes seeing them together alot on content enforces certain beliefs but did yoh ever think of how you saw them? What are they doing when you see them on content? Most times you see them together in the back even when they are not the main focus of the camera or you see them coming and going together or you see them staying back to rehearse or practice together, or you see them staying back to watch and support each other during their solo practices, or you hear members talking about them as a unit. Hobi saying Jk and Jimin always stay up late together, or Joon saying after watching Jimin and Jk run around/ get along so well he got inspired or Tae mentioning on more than one occasion that Jk and Jimin were spending time together late at night, or Hobi saying that he ate with Jikook who ordered food together. It’s not one thing and certainly not company content that gives people the impression that jikook are extremely close.

Even in chapter two where it was clear that those two probably didn’t see each other as much, anyone could still feel how much they love and missed each other, especially Jungkook with his Jimin centric Lives and constantly inviting Jimin to come over for chicken, boxing, lives etc. Those two are really good friends who are very important to each other and it is normal that sometimes, when life happens and people get busy, some distance creeps in. I feel like that is what happened with Jikook after 2022. They started doing different things, Jimin working on two albums at once, Jk not working on anything and was bored outta his mind up to the extent that at some point, my man was visiting almost all the meat restaurants in korea all alone lol and then he started hanging out with Tae alot after that and then later got busy again. That is life.

I'm not going to assume this is your intent but tangentially, I'm feeling real tired of "JK hung out with Tae cos Jimin wasn't available."

Tae is only valuable when someone else isn't available? That's dehumanising.

But I'm sure that's not what you're saying because you at least recognise Taekook are close and aren't total strangers who got invited seperately to the Dreamiere and just happened to bump into each other.

Jimin was recording an album, he wasn't in solitary confinement?! Tae and JK recorded albums last year too? They all found time to go to Jeju together when JK was undoubtedly busy with album stuff.

When I first encountered BTS, I didn't notice Jimin at all. (After watching the carpool karaoke, I immediately opened Spotify and drowned myself in their discography. Listened to their albums from the beginning to Butter then continued doing so every day. I didn't even know all their names until I was in the 2nd month of my Bangtan exposure.) In fact, the early months of my Bangtan exposure, I was kind of annoyed at Jimin because the IG accounts I follow and the YouTube compilations I watched were - surprise, surprise - painted him as a villain or this irritating member. My turnaround happened during one of Jimin's vlives, the one where he is in the car. I thought that it was really so sweet of him to really go on live after he said he would during the group vlive (the one where they were all in pajamas. I think that vlive was after a Zoom meeting where they talked with Armys who won the event.) Plus I love love love (up to this day and it remains my favorite BTS song) Home and we all know how exceptional Jimin was in it. From that point on, I was in love, hehe. Jimin was not the one who got me hooked when I first met BTS but he sure is the one who got me to stay.

So for the 6th day of Jimtober, I thought of finding photos of Jimin during the early years of BTS. I may have missed out on Baby J but thank heavens for Bangtan archivists. I applaud their dedication. Also, I saw a couple of tweets back then saying that Jimin wasn't really that cute or attractive during their early years. Well, I present you these photos (from 2014- 2017 I believe) as a proof that Jimin was never not cute or attractive. He was beautiful then. He is beautiful now. He'll be beautiful tomorrow because a kind heart and soul will never make anyone ugly or undersirable.

Not a YoonMin-er but would like to add my thoughts around this beautiful relationship. Yoongi was indisputably the member that influenced Jimin’s mindset pre-debut. His words of encouragement to a teenager who was being left in the limbo day in day out was so profound that Jimin has referred to it many many times. Yes Jimin himself is mentally strong and capable but we all need someone in our corner and for Jimin, that person was Yoongi. I also believe that because Yoongi was already making music and part of the industry in some way, his words held more weight.

I do feel that Jimin is closest to Yoongi (after JHope), and Namjoon more than Jungkook and V. Because of how Jimin thinks and because of what Yoongi himself has been through in terms of mental and emotional struggle. YoonMin to me are the true soulmates. They bicker, they make fun of each other. But let someone else do it and then will see red. Their relationship is so beyond the normal brotherhood and friendships.

For all the hate Yoongi gets from JM solo stans about the comments he makes (and admittedly some have been or could be perceived as being in bad taste), Jimin himself would never crucify Yoongi for them. I don’t even think he would take these comments seriously. And if Jimin’s ment at DDay finale wasn’t proof enough if their special bond (he literally called out Yoongi for being a bad host and not introducing his guest, at the guys own show infront of 100s of 1000s of people 😂😂😂), I don’t know what is.

I don’t know whether they had anything between them or not. Most likely not. But it seems that currently Yoongi is the only one Jimin would listen to. He only had to beg twice for a LC and TM performance and he didn’t even bribe whereas poor Jungkook has offered chicken, bam, boxing and even nakedness and got no Jimin 😂😂😂😂

Poor JK needs to beg some more. Maybe he can do a mukbang again with some Kimchi Jigae…but wait, Taeyang already offered that to Jimin 😂😂😂😂

You say you're not a yoonminer but after reading your ask, I'm very curious about what you are. It's interesting that you feel Jimin is closest to Yoongi because of what they've both been through "...in terms of mental and emotional struggle" and while I understand that yoonmin have bonded over shared personal journeys, I feel this could be said more for Yoongi's relationship growth with Hoseok and Namjoon. It's not often alluded to in the fandom but Hoseok and Joon have had their own deep struggles with depression and insecurity, and the way Yoongi and Hoseok have been able to emotionally open up to each other, the way Yoongi has deepened his emotional connection to and respect for Namjoon over the years, make Yoongi’s relationships with Namseok foundational to him in the group. Or like soulmates, to use your words. More so than with Jimin, in my opinion.

It’s also interesting that you say “They bicker… but let anyone else do it and then they will see red.” …but don’t you notice all the times this happens and it’s Jungkook that’s seeing red? To Yoongi?

Just off the top of my head, during their last visit to the UN when Jimin made that cute gaff and the guys were joshing him for it after. Yoongi (and a couple others) kept going, twisting that little pain point and JK (plus Hobi) was the first to put an end to it. Jungkook did it in such a sassy way too, considering he was speaking to people older than him. I’m not sure if it was captured in the English subtitles, but Jungkook very easily laid down the law in one second, signalled to the others that they were close to crossing a line in teasing Jimin. Not like Jimin needed his help, but it’s still worth noting that very publicly in their least rehearsed moment (on Vlive) it was JK speaking up.

Jungkook also damn near jumped Yoongi with a frying pan too, in that one RUN BTS episode (ep 100 I think) for mistakenly hitting Jimin. Jungkook in general is pretty big, so how you’ve missed that muscle bunny showing up to show out for Jimin, almost everyday for 10 years, is a real curiosity for me.

I agree with you that in terms of emotional outlets, Yoongi is one of the steadfast sounding boards for Jimin. There’s a lot about those two that does indicate that in another life, they would be kindred souls and I guess in some ways they already are. But today, in this universe, I can’t really say Jimin is closer to Yoongi than to Jungkook. I just don’t see it.

We don’t really know any of them, and who they are close too at various points changes all the time depending on whatever’s happening in their real lives, but Jimin today gives me the sense he’s somewhat detached from everyone in the group for long stretches so he can focus on his solo work. I’m not really seeing anything to tell me there’s been a massive shift and he’s now closer to Yoongi than to Jungkook. He could have become closer to Yoongi than before, to be as close to Yoongi as he is to Jungkook, maybe, but jikook’s relationship fundamentally remains the same in Chapter 2.

My Personal Opinions on Minsung's Dynamic (2018)

Disclaimer: I am not trying to pass off my opinions as facts. This is my personal interpretation of what is laid out right in front of us. I could be completely off base because I don’t know these guys personally, so take this with a grain of salt and feel free to disagree!

Lee Know is very interesting to me.

That’s literally the first thought I had when compiling all of these moments together.

Members and fans equally describe him as the “Tsundere” of the group (even though he’s a multifaceted person with a very caring side towards his closest ones). We see throughout the years he has a dry/deadpan sense of humor, is sarcastic at times, has a more introverted personality, etc. etc.

When I was a newer fan, I quickly assumed that out of him and Han, he was the one that was more inclined to “keep it together” on camera, thus making it super difficult to read him.

That is definitely not the case for me when making this video…cause holy sh*t??? There are times where the guy is shockingly transparent. (the fansigns and the early vlives, especially)

While putting together clips for this year, I found a clip of him (in a later year) where the other members describe him as someone who’s honest with his emotions, which…kind of tracks if you’ve watched him over the years. It's refreshing to see that in an idol.

I’m of the opinion that he developed a little crush on Han early-ish this year. 

I probably would have chalked down LK’s behavior towards Han as platonic fondness like he has for I.N (he really dotes on the youngest like a baby brother during this year. I felt like these two were also pretty close since you see them together frequently, but their friendship isn’t talked about too much. Jeongho is actually so underrated 😭.), if it wasn’t for Changbin’s subtle yet unsubtle remarks towards those two. Changbin is someone who knows them personally, lives with them, and is with them almost 24/7. He knows them better than any of us ever will. So it’s quite telling to me when that is coming from someone who ACTUALLY KNOWS THEM, which really puts things into perspective. 

He literally acts like someone who teases their friend for having a crush.

You have moments where Changbin points and laughs at Lee Know for staring at Han ~that way~ during the dance segment in the KBS World Idol show, then there’s him giving LK the 😏 look when he gets smiley from Han who was doing…almost nothing…during a Vlive they have before a fansign, AND THEN the 3.NO.RA.CHA car Vlive where he’s like “Lee Know why are you so happy? Why are you so happy?” after LK and Han do something that catches Chan off guard (I’m pretty sure they did the one plus one is cute thing that they end up doing during the two kids room episode). Which goes onto another point…THAT episode:

I find it interesting how LK was the one who requested Han to do the aegyo class with him because…like,,,, what?? 🧍‍♀️

For some reason I thought Han was the one who suggested it.

Then comes the part where LK mentions feelings and Han looks into the camera like he’s in the office and LK just nervously giggles and says “I don’t know” after realizing the implications of what he just said. This is also interesting to me b/c normally someone would react like “Oh no!! Don’t misunderstand!” to diffuse any awkwardness. 

And the fansigns, they are so flipping cute in those. 😭 There’s so much content out there so I was stressing out about how much to include and/or exclude. From these alone, you can tell LK adores the hell out of Han. It’s so painfully obvious to watch. It really puts the “LK can’t live without Han” saying by Seungmin into perspective. 

Han, on the other hand, like I said in a previous post, is harder to read. I honestly don’t think he liked LK “like that” at this point, unless he’s incredibly good at hiding it and didn’t want to acknowledge those types of feelings at all for obvious reasons. If you compare him in 2018 to 2023, it's worlds apart. (lmfao the concerts this year are something else; I seriously can’t wait to get to 2023 b/c whatever happened in Australia Sydney day 1 is VERY INTERESTING, like the fancams from that concert are incredibly eye opening for reasons I don’t want to explain right now 😬😬).  LK has remained fairly consistent imo. I think you’ll start to see some reciprocation from Han in later years.

But they are consistently close this year. They bicker and play-fight like close friends do, they comfortably joke around with each other, and they’re always finding some way to interact with the other. The two of them always seem to be on board with eo's ~weird~ antics too. (Much like you see in subsequent years and this year; they haven’t changed at all in that aspect). They’re the definition of soulmates. 

Seeing their evolution as idols from the beginning is very interesting too when you get to go back and watch almost every single content out there. Like plenty has changed within a 5-6 year span, but a lot of things have also remained the same.

Lee know was noticeably more camera shy back then. Han seemed more outgoing and out there compared to him (the guy is a ball of energy) while LK was quieter and more in the background. You can also see snippets of his characteristic sense of humor and “4d” personality, although, again, he was more camera shy so he didn’t show it as much. 

2019 is still a work in progress, but I think Han's behavior much later that year and in 2020 is an interesting change from what we see in 2018.

Hey Rain, so there is something I kinda noticed while watching the 3rd episode of AYS and I would like to talk about it if you don’t mind.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe all those times when Tae looked abit hurt or bothered by Jikook’s interactions it might have been because he sometimes felt left out? We know that Vminkook have all been pretty close since they were rookies and depending on who you ask, some people might pick taekook as the closest of the three while others pick jikook and others pick Vmin. The members seemed to think that Vmin were the closest of the pair for some reason. But after hearing Tae say that after he saw the schedule, he asked why he was being left out and said he wanted to go too, it made me realize that maybe that is how he felt back then. I would have believed that he was bothered by Jikook’s behaviour because he was in a relationship with Jk but if that was what really bothered him, why would he be ok with those times Jk went to hangout with Jimin alone at nights? He would obviously trust Jk if Jk was his boyfriend and wouldn’t be bothered by Jk wanting to hang out in another bandmate’s room ofcourse but doesn’t that also mean he wouldn’t be bothered by Jimin and Jk doing a little fanservice? Plus he didn’t always look bothered by their interactions and I feel like sometimes people could mistake Tae’s resting face for him being mad.

I’m thinking of that Live from 2019 where he said that Jk was with Jimin and wasn’t letting Jimin go to him and he gave a very weird look to the camera. Also thinking of that other Live from 2015 when he said he was supposed to do a Live with Jikook but they were hanging out together and even that one time where he dragged Jungkook to another car because he wanted to ride with Jimin. I dunno but it does seem like there were times when he felt a little left out by them and that made him kinda sad. There are so many different theories surrounding that NJ Live from 2019 too but if we were to take things at face value, it seems like Tae wanted to hangout with Jk for abit but Jk kept asking him to leave and even that Vlive from 2017 when Tae went to Jk’s room while Jk was doing a Live with Jimin and Jk seemed kinda upset that Tae had come in and asked “why is everyone coming?”. There’s quite a few moments that give me the impression that maybe Tae just felt left out and that is why he sometimes looked a little sad. What do you think?

So.. imo opinion, Tae was never bothered by Jk and Jm's friendship. He knows them better than anyone else. He would know exactly what the nature of Jm and Jk's relationship is, and he would definitely know that Jk wasn't secretly pining for Jm or that Jm would want to steal Jk from him. I think, what bothered Tae most of all is seeing the way fandom react to Jkk. He has more than enough experience seeing fandom talk about both his relationship with Jk and Jkk's relationship that he is probably able to know which behaviors will get a fandom reaction. I do think he struggled with that and I even think he might've gotten mad at Jk/Jm at times becouse of those things. It's the way our feelings work, it's not always rational. Tae would rationally know that Jm and Jk are friends and do certain thigns because they are friends, and other things as fanservice. That doesn't mean he would have always felt okay though. I mean, that's the harshness of it all isn't it.. not being able to be completely real.

I don't think Tae felt actually left out, I think he has his own strong bond with Jm and Jk and I think when it's the three of them actually Jm has at times been thirdwheeling. In my opinion you can't really take a few axamples where you feel something seemingly seems off and generalize these to something that always occurs. Things are so very often situational. I think that's the thing Jkkrs so often get wrong. They enlarge certain things to the extreme. Jm talks about Jk going to his room a few times.. and to them that means Jk always hangs out at Jm's room. That's not the case though. Certain situations allow for certain behavior. Someone having a bad mood, or feeling sick, or having just read something nasty online can already alter the way someone would normally behave.

Tae also does fanservice with other members. BTS membrs have most likely been actually trained in doing fanservice, so he would know how to see these things and our ideas about how something looks are probably far off from theirs. Same goes for Jk visiting Jm in his room. Tae knows Jk's sleeping habits and his friendship with Jm better than we do. From the way they talk about it, its actually very clear that nothing but hanging out together went on. For Tae, Jk and Jm are brotherly, so why would that bother him? Why would he limit them in hanging out? Do we expect JK to put limits to Tae hanging out with Wooga as well? People in good relationships don't have a problem with their partner hanging out with their best friend, it's truly as simple as that imo.

I think for Tae it's very important to be able to show how important Jk is to him. He is proud, he loves him, he loves their relationship. So to not be able to do that.. and to see other people make up insane theories and having imaginations about your partner and your best friend being intimate must be excrutingly hard at times. I mean.. imagine being Tae and having to read all the wild stuff Jkkrs are writing now. Holy shit... imagine being Jm and JK and reading all of the insane stuff they are saying right now!

So, no... don't agree.

I have to admit that there was a time when I didn't understand why the hell we didn't know anything about Jikook.😫

Those who wait are in despair. And if I'm the one who waits (while quitting smoking), it's even worse, because I'm (above all) IMPATIENT! hahaha. I missed jikook a lot and I was in a total skeptical phase.

Don't scold me, I am not insecure, I like to be objective and critical. And there were things from these months that just made me wonder if everything was okay... I'm not going to go into them, because there’s no need. But I am going to share with you some of my lessons or takeaways from these months of CHAPTER 2 and that now, with more perspective, I can share, in case it helps anyone for next months.

1. The members who interact the most are the ones who are promoting at the time. 

I don't expect to see others in official content, unless they have something to promote. I guess it's marketing strategy. Just compare how Suga has reacted to other albums on socmed, with how he has been more involved in Jimin's, because he came next. 

The only exception is Hobi who is constant. Our dear sunshine..💜

But as I could see, if we want to see the rest, it's up to them.

2. This brings me to the next point: JIKOOK has chosen to show us that they are still there as usual, but without the exposure. 

Let's cry in chorus! 😭😭❤❤

JK wanted to support Jimin and for us to see him. And he wanted it to be something special, dammit! And so it has been!

I melt with him and everything he has done so far: from saying how great the Set me free Pt2 MV was going to be, to playing the chords of Letter, and the vlive reaction to Suchita and Jimin's best moments unbothered.

Plus the next morning reacting to Jimin’s live LOL

And Jimin has always been active in JK's vlives, whenever he could, with some very memorable lines 

3. What we don't see is almost EVERYTHING. And what we can see depends on many external factors. 

Thanks to the editors we could see JK visiting Jimin. It looks like they were together for only 5 seconds, but we know that was not the case.

On the other hand, Letter was not recorded remotely, nor did JK teach himself to play it on guitar on youtube, like he learned to make sushi on ITS. 

This would be a point for non-jikookers who believe that jikook has not seen e/o for months.... but, I write it as a reminder for everyone, but especially for ME. 

What we see in recorded content is Hybe's choice. The rest is either shown to us by them or we have to assume it by applying common sense.

On the other hand, does anyone expect jikook to plug in a vlive when they're at home together watching The Notebook for the umpteenth time? I don't... Which brings me to the next point...

4. Army is always a support to Jungkook

I really believe that when he has been feeling very bored, alone or melancholic, we have been a help to him. Maybe he needed a rest, but at some point the inactivity has taken its toll on him, given that he didn't have his precious people around him.

In particular, I am happy to see him in his new role as CK ambassador and to see him travelling and active, at least until he enters the more intense work phase of his future projects.

So when I've seen Tae at his home, or with him at concerts, far from worrying about the cults's reaction (Who cares!!), I've been glad he was getting him out of the Mikrokosmos cave, because JK is an introvert and his comfort zone isn't exactly socialising.

[How I feel about Tae and his vlives and name dropping at certain times is another matter. But I have no doubt that Tae loves him and has made it a point to take him out bowling or to concerts]

5. Perhaps most controversial, but most obvious.....JIKOOK don't officially live together and that's what we're going to see from here until they leave for military service. So it's best not to give too much thought to the issue of houses.

But there is a very big obviousness to this issue. JK lives in a house rented by Hybe, with furniture from the dorms and barely decorated (althoug full of underwear 😁), as if he can't rent a house while his mansion in Itaewoon is being built...LOL! It's a joke! (and by this I mean that perhaps he spends part of his time elsewhere 😏).

If jikook is an established couple, as many of us think, we will always have to bear in mind is that they cant fulfil everything we would see in a long-term couple, like living together in one house 24/7/365, for obvious reasons, but basically because they are hidden couple and they’re also chased (especially Jungkook, who has a lot of sasaengs behind him).

And this is basically my main takeaways.... I'm sure I have more lessons learnt.... but I don't remember them now.... or I'm tired of writing.... maybe it's the latter ;)

From my perspective, the VLive felt super orchestrated by Hybe, and the company must have picked out the songs JK sang. We all know Hybe's been making headlines for some not-so-great stuff, so this VLive from JK seemed to reassure the stockholders that everything's cool since their stock isn't doing well. Plus, it was a way to show fans that JK was okay, especially with all the rumors about him being bullied in the military.

Jin and J-Hope are both out of the military, so they could’ve done the VLive, too, but having them do it wouldn't have had the same positive impact they wanted. I'm curious how JK got such a long vacation—maybe it was part of some deal? And those liquor bottles he was showing? I doubt he bought them himself; everything feels a bit staged. I also wonder how the company felt when he passed on singing Jimin's song, claiming it was out of his range, but then went on to sing "Winter ahead" 3x. Sorry for the long rant, but I hope JK is doing alright.

EXACTLY THAT'S WHAT I FELT TOO

now, i know that in the military service in south korea (when it comes time to endure it), they still have days off and even some kind of leave, say a week or two in six months, but despite this, i am also surprised that an idol during thеir military service did live on weverse. how did it happen, did the corporation pay the korean government (especially now that their prime minister is running the country), what are the laws in south korea for soldiers during military service, and especially for k-pop stars? and despite these questions, i hope that jungkook was not forced, or at least wanted for a bit to do the live, because i really felt that there was something rotten. by the way, according to the pendulum (i asked) that room is not his, but is a studio room from the corporation...

hello everyone 😙 i'm back with a new video of our amazing savage kitten, the one and only inka because, why not? we all know the remarkable way inka have to teach respect to mean people.. she's so cool, right? so why not make a video of all these moments?

clip one : the iconic 201201 v/live

turning on the vlive, inka is looking at her phone, busy reading the vlive chat. despite some small glances towards the camera, inka seems to be concerned about something.

« 'inka you look mad' » she said suddenly while reading the chat, « i'm not mad, i'm worst than that. » she knew she would probably regret her behavior, but she could no longer hold back what she was thinking deep inside. « i watched lee know's live earlier, and i must admit i was a little disappointed guys. » she said as she finally swiveled to face the camera, leaving her phone on the table. « some of you have told him, over and over again, that he was mean. » she rested her chin in her hand, watching the camera carefully, « i know that not all of you are concerned, but i still have something to say, even if i risk being scolded for it. »

« please, watch your words. being hurtful will not bring you anything good in life. acting like this by being mean on the internet will not make you cooler or happier. it won't change anything in your life. » a sigh left her lips as she straightened against the back of her chair, « free nastiness is not a good thing, and everyone will tell you that. you speak without knowing the person, and that is really deplorable. »

« you're angry? it's totally fine. but you can do something else than throwing your hatred on someone else. like screaming into your pillow or going out for a walk. but being gratuitously mean to someone online, behind your phone, just makes you horribly ugly inside. » after a forced smile and raised eyebrows, inka clapped her hands, more serious, « people don't appreciate gratuitous meanness, plus it's not going to make you feel better. »

« and lee know is one of the sweetest person i know, and i'm not saying that because he's my friend, but because i know him personally and respect him. what some of you should do, by the way. and it concerns anyone, not just lee know, or me. respect is the basis of everything. be nice to others and others will be nice to you, keep that in mind. »

clip two : insung little circle v-live

inka and jisung are doing a vlive to listen with stays, the new music they released together. little circle is playing in the background, when suddenly a sigh escapes from inka's lips who was reading the chat, that jisung did not notice, too busy singing the music's lyrics.

turning her face towards jisung, she watched him carefully before speaking in a nonchalant tone. « no, there is nothing wrong. » jisung seemed confused at the girl's sudden words, especially when she locked her phone and placed it on the side of the desk. « what? » jisung asked, looking for his phone.

but inka shook her head negatively and handed him the packet of chocolates she had in her hands, offering his friend some sweets. « stay, would you like some sweets? » she asked teasingly, before settling more comfortably into her chair, flashing a false smile and a jaded look. « ahh no, sorry, i forgot. my sweets are only for nice people who don't criticize others anonymously to make themselves feel better. »

as jisung looks at her incredulously, inka shrugs and eats another chocolate before speaking again, « some of you need to learn about cyberbullying, it will educate you a bit. i'm serious. »

turning her gaze to jisung who seemed to be speechless at her words, she offered him a tender smile, laying her head against his shoulder. « hannie, you're so pretty. you're amazing, never pay attention to the bad people in this world. they don't deserve you to feel bad because of them. » and finally a jisung becoming a blushing mess.

clip three : 220607 group v-live

half lying against hyunjin's legs, inka is busy reading the chat right after they all just watched 'your eyes''s mv together. but after a few readings, she noticed that the chat was getting quite nasty.

she didn't even bother to look at the staff before speaking, sighing and rolling her eyes, « if you're just here to be mean, you can leave the live. » chan slowly turned his head towards her, the same for jisung who did not understand what she was talking about.

some of the members started to panic, glancing at the staff who did not seem to react. « you ask us to do things that you like, and when we do, you find things to complain about. » a pout formed on her lips, as she straightened up to cling to jisung's arm, the boy questioned her with his eyes.

hyunjin hastened to read the chat to see stays' reaction, who seemed concerned about inka's reaction. hyunjin patted inka on the shoulder before showing her a message from the chat. she spoke again, shaking her head, « of course, not all of you are concerned, some of you are really caring people but some others are just gratuitously malicious and it pisses me off. my members are here to entertain you and make you happy, but you're bitching about nothing. it's tiring. »

after a last sigh, she left the corner of the live to join the staff behind and take something to drink, quickly joined by jeongin and chan who asked her to calm down. which she did, just after adding, « sorry, i'm really sorry. but i don't want my precious stays to be polluted by people who think it's ok to be gratuitously mean to others. »

clip four : hotel room v-live after returning to korea

with a cup of hot coffee in her hands, inka sat quietly on the sofa in front of the curtains. she slowly reads the vlive chat while sipping her drink, « 'inka, did you get back to korea safely?' yes, the flight went well. thank you for asking guys. » she replied with a smile.

« oh and, by the way guys. you know i'm always the one to speak up when something goes wrong, and today something happened. uh.. i'm not here to lecture you, and i know you came to the airport to see us, but.. please be careful the next time you follow us so closely as we walk through the airport. » a sigh leaves her lips as she scratches the edge of her head and looks at the camera again. « i know it's part of my job, but.. it was really dangerous as much for stray kids' members as for you. »

« i care about everyone' safety, and tonight... it was quite complicated to protect everyone. i think most of you have already seen the videos on twitter, but some members had difficulties at the airport. especially seungmin, or lee know who hit his head while entering the car. i, uh- i'm quite claustrophobic so i almost had a panic attack. fortunately i had my headphones on so i couldn't hear the noise from the crowd, but i was so jostled that i almost lost my balance and fell. » by pulling her legs up against her chest, we could see a hematoma on her shin, « someone unintentionally kicked me while i was walking, which resulted with a hematoma on my leg. »

« i mean, it's okay, i understand that you want to see us as much as possible, but please be careful and respectful. stick to us in the airport after a long flight, really made us feel uncomfortable. not because of you especially, but because of the way you behaved. we could talk and see each other better if you kept a good distance, without rushing us. » offering a beautiful smile to the camera, inka continued to speak while finishing her cup of coffee, « anyway, just be careful and vigilant in the future, because everything could have a domino effect. we could have fallen one after the other, and end up seriously injured. respect our living space so that we can continue to make good music just for you ! »

clip five : v-live after skz kingdom victory

one week after the end of kingdom : legendary war, inka, jeongin and seungmin went on vlive. talking about their experience during the competition, the subject of friendships between idols has become their main source of conversation. while they were talking about the boyz and ateez members, a war has been declared in the chat.

« wait wait guys, the war is over, why are you arguing in the chat? » inka took a better look at the chat, and sighed as he discovered the cause of their argument. « oh gosh, guys, stop it right now. why do you put others down like that? all the groups participating in this show deserve their place. everyone worked hard during these really long and tiring weeks, you really can't imagine how exhausting this show was, both emotionally and physically. »

« we have all worked very hard, together, to bring you all an incredible competition. some of us were injured during the procedure, it was very difficult. so i will never let anyone say that some groups did not deserve their place in the competition, because that's not true. they are all absolutely talented, they give their best all the time, even when they feel like they are crashing to the ground. so, don't try to destroy their hopes and pride, because as long as i am here, i will do everything to defend our talented idols who give everything for their success. »

jeongin and seungmin listened attentively to inka speak, nodding their heads at her words, « kingdom may have been a competition, but for us, it was a way to spend some time together, to support each other, and to console our sorrows. » turning her gaze to the two youngest, they nodded their heads in approval before letting her continue speaking, « we all created a strong friendship in a very healthy environment, you should do the same. no need to be mean to each other and belittle the efforts of others. »

clip six : skz-talker ep. 56

while felix and seungmin talk to the camera, for an episode of skz-talker, about their future performance at the golden disc awards, you can see in the background, inka talking with a staff member. but after a few seconds, joined by jisung, we can clearly see that her expression has changed.

the staff member is now talking to jisung, but in an unsympathetic way, which causes jisung to lower his head. but inka quickly intervenes between the two and slightly moves away the staff member who seems shocked by her behavior. we can't hear their conversation, but we can clearly see that inka doesn't agree with what the staff said to jisung.

then, joined by another member of the staff, this last one seems to apologize and inka seems to thank him. then the camera is suddenly directed on inka and jisung, who seem to discuss silently. the cameraman asks inka if everything is okay — inka hung her arm around jisung's shoulders while he smiled at the camera, then she finally replies : « yes, now everything is good. i really don't like injustice, so i felt compelled to intervene in a little misunderstanding. now that everything is back to normal and the culprits have apologized, we can offer you a masterful performance at the golden disc awards ! »

clip seven : another iconic inka queen solo v-live moment

enjoying hee chicken noodles quietly in her hotel room, inka decided on a whim to do a small live to spend time with her precious fans. and if at the beginning everything was going well, that both sides seemed to talk calmly, a message in the chat suddenly caught her attention.

« ah guys, do you really think i'm mean? » she asked, keeping her eyes glued to the answers on her screen. « so, you think that people who are against harassment and all, are the bad guys? » a nervous laugh left her lips as she tried to keep her composure.

a sigh of exasperation left her lips as she gobbled down some noodles before speaking. « sorry to disappoint you, but who do you think you are? i'm not mean. i'm just a respectful person made of common sense, able to know what is right and wrong. i know that to criticize a person for pure pleasure, is a petty and cowardly act. »

« you know me well, you know that i never hold back from saying what i think. then you should also know that my words are not malice, but simply a sincere and reasonable speech. i'm not here to argue with you, but rather to make you understand the line between right and wrong. after all, i can use my idol voice to tell you about the evil things of this world, right? i could also tell you that violence, both verbal and physical, never solves anything. but i'm pretty sure most of you already know that. »

« so no, i don't think i'm mean. i just think i'm acting a little too much on my own by proudly telling you what most people think. maybe in the end, it gives me the wrong role, but at least, i remain true to my values of always being sincere with the people who make me who i am today. » sipping her ice tea, she finally raised her head towards the camera, « i hope that you will eventually understand that i am simply defending people who are no longer, or cannot, speak for themselves. they also deserve attention, and i will always defend these values. »

conclusion :

inka is not mean, she's just like our big, caring sister to us all ! she guides us to the right path and ensures that we are kind to each other. so let's support her and stray kids together !
