The more I try things on DC Bella, the more I realize that my initial plan for her is going to change. I wanted to do a fantasy blue-toned face up. Now, I realize I love her ghostly white and blank. Her faceup is going to need to be as minimalistic as possible.

Sent these to Yummy Sweets Dolls. I love Lotus on the Huajing body, and I have it on good authority that the artist is also a bit of a hybrid fanatic.

Another new obsession - buying human size STL files and shrinking them down to doll size. This is a Sauron cosplay crown at 42%. Bumped it up to 43% cuz the crown has a habit of sproinging off the wig. Waiting for the print to finish (each crown takes about 15 hours to print, but resin prints don't have layer lines).

I wuv her. Still deciding what she wants to be. I've seen so many different, amazing things people have done with these dolls.

Apparently, I'm tempting fate by posting natural fiber wigs (I've been told there was a bit of drama over them before I started collecting). Lol. Pretty sure I've demonstrated that I'm happy to argue. Come at me, bro.

Propaganda for "Mother Knows Best": the entire song is such a fucked up display of Gothel manipulating, undermining, and abusing Rapunzel while couching it in a facade of love. I'll break it down:

Infantilizes her by calling her fragile and tiny. Furthermore, likens her to a flower, tying into how she's important because she's a replacement for the Sundrop. Also note the condescending patting.

[MOTHER GOTHEL] That's right, to keep you safe and sound, dear

Cuts off Rapunzel, because she doesn't get a voice in this. Insists that keeping her isolated is for her safety, but is stroking her hair while singing the last line, reinforcing how she values Rapunzel only for her power.

Paints herself as the victim, dramatically posing with the curtains and vocally emphasizing how distraught she is.

Again positions herself as "reasonable"--oh, she'll let Rapunzel leave someday, she's just not ready yet! Again, Rapunzel is shushed and degraded--she's a "pet" who doesn't know better, and she should just shut up and listen to her mother.

Intimidates Rapunzel by knocking out the lights, physically manhandling her (especially knocking her down), and filling her head with terrifying images of the outside world. She is preying on Rapunzel's naivete (which is the result of Gothel isolating her) to scare her into submission. She also continues to cut Rapunzel off every time she tries to speak and plays victim--she says "Stop, no more, you'll just upset me," but she's the one who's been listing these awful things and upsetting Rapunzel.

Mother's right here, Mother will protect you Darling, here's what I suggest Skip the drama, stay with mama Mother knows best

As she sings the first two lines, she offers herself up for a hug, then disappears and leaves a mannequin in her place when Rapunzel seeks comfort. Her protection and love are conditional--obey her or else. Also, "skip the drama" gaslights Rapunzel into thinking she's unreasonable for asking to leave the tower (and is quite ironic, since Gothel's dramatically singing this on a staircase lined with candles).

Mother knows best, take it from your mumsy On your own, you won't survive

Insists that Rapunzel is helpless and dependent on her, while undermining her attempts at independence by snuffing out the candles she lights.

Sloppy, underdressed, immature, clumsy Please, they'll eat you up alive Gullible, naïve, positively grubby Ditzy and a bit, well, hmm, vague Plus, I believe, gettin' kinda chubby I'm just saying 'cause I wuv you

Insults the shit out of her in an "affectionate" way to kill her self-confidence. Calls her "clumsy" while yanking her off her feet. Physically manhandles her again by rolling her up, spinning her around, and lifting her by the face. Again, paints Rapunzel as a helpless baby who can't make it in the harsh world and needs to stay isolated and dependent on her mother.

Mother understands, Mother's here to help you All I have is one request

Knocks out all the lights and then appears under a spotlight, portraying herself as the one and only refuge for Rapunzel. Rapunzel, who is extremely stressed by the previous events, rushes to the relief her mother offers--which, of course, is conditional.

(spoken) Rapunzel? [RAPUNZEL, spoken] Yes? [MOTHER GOTHEL, spoken] Don't ever ask to leave this tower again.

The facade slips as Gothel bluntly and sternly demands that Rapunzel never even ask to leave again. She's not just saying "no," she's removing Rapunzel's ability to choose and speak up for herself. Also note the contradiction with her previous claims: she said "Soon, but not yet" earlier, but now affirms that her rule is that Rapunzel never leaves the tower.

[MOTHER GOTHEL, spoken] I love you very much, dear

[RAPUNZEL, spoken] I love you more

[MOTHER GOTHEL, spoken] I love you most

Gothel, of course, has to get the last word in and reinforce herself as Rapunzel's better. Also, when she says "I love you most," she kisses Rapunzel's hair; she doesn't love Rapunzel most, she loves her hair and the restorative magic it holds. Rapunzel only matters to her insofar as she makes Gothel feel better about herself, whether that be by affirming that she's a loving mother or keeping her young and beautiful.

(sung) Don't forget it, you'll regret it Mother knows best

Uses a lighthearted, affectionate tone of voice, but uses it to threaten Rapunzel (imagine that statement said any other way). Also condescendingly pats her on the head again. Finishes by walking away while running Rapunzel's hair through her hands, denying Rapunzel comfort because she values the hair more.

TLDR; Gothel is a fucking atrocious parent and every second of this song is child abuse.

Reading unusable just made my heart swell with emotions. The snippet of Unbroken LEFT ME BROKEN. I can’t.

As much as I enjoy Major x Bucky, Pocket x Buckybaby is tattooed in my heart.

Btw I just saw someone said they’re team Lebron😂, and i think it’s because Major kinda looks like the ‘mean’ girl in Lizard’s POV. (If we switch Lenovo as reader, gahdamnn, everyone would be pissed at Major)… or they just love chaos AHAHAHAHAH.

Major does have flaws but subtle, and not the Pocket level kind of flaws. I can tell Major is not perfect. I have a feeling that she’s actually insecure of her own appearance and action but always keep her head high due to her divorce, something like that la.

I get it why it bothers some readers because we haven’t yet to see her bad bad moments. Plus, we were introduced with Major being the ‘baddie’/‘independent’ woman from the beginning. It is a drastic change from Pocket to Major. Not to mention this reader and Bucky are like rabbits 24/7😂 We’re seeing majorly of their body/physical chemistry here before it starts going to the emotional chemistry. (Might I also remind people that things would be crazy after Major and Bucky is officially in a relationship because that means war for Lebron?😂We’re still in the introduction on its way to rising action!!)

Also, we’ve been seeing more on Bucky’s and Lenovo’s POV (especially Bucky). It’s refreshing after Unwanted but I do hope we get to see Major’s POV soon because I’m starting to get attached on Bucky😂 I feel like I’m Bucky. Not only that, but Mother Pookie great mind too. I can’t wait for whatever she’s planning on WFLT.

Me too, Pookie. Me, too. It's why I'm struggling with WFLT; I keep wanting to run right back to them. Pocket and her BuckyBaby are, always and forever, my babies, just like you said. So, I'm eager to get to Unbroken eventually. Even if, for now, I'm just jotting down little snippets here and there as they come to me.

Major and her Bucky are indeed more mature individuals, lol, which might be why it's harder to write them, because my brain just wants to jump to the most dramatic, angsty shit possible, but I am like 'NO! These are adults!'

Lizard is where I will have to get my drama out, lol. Girl's gonna do some crazy shit. Like, not full-on Cunthrage-evil, but more real-world crazy. Like, if you were friends with her on socials, you wouldn't interact, but you wouldn't block her, either, because the drama is too good.

Major's not perfect. She's got some combat-related PTSD we're going to explore, and though she would probably never admit it, she's insecure about Bucky's relationship with Lily. I know we're focusing a lot in these early chapters on Major and Bucky's... well, sexcapades, really, but I wanted to establish them as being crazy for one another, and to kind of really showcase how quick of a change this is for Lily.

But as you said, this is the RISING ACTION, lol; we'll get there!

LEMME TELL YOU. I've been scatterbrained for weeks. 😵‍💫 I don't think it helps that I only get Mondays off from both of my jobs, yet I have to do chooooores on Mondays. 😩 Ew real life stuff!

But life needs to slow down. Too much is happening at once.

-my bestest brother came home from the air force and I'm soooooo happy! But he and his wifey are divorcing(mutually and platonically staying friends), but it's stirring up drama with our dad because he doesn't like their relationship at all.

-I've been dog-sitting my brother's foxy doggo. 💖 Literally a fox. 👀 She's a precious little furball! lookie:

-I went visit my doggo Gemini who's been happy with another family member! She's an excited little crack head and it made me happy to see her again. 🥰

-then my bro got a cat and caused even more drama since our family hates cats... But he's cute little black cat with green eyes and his name is Loki. 😚 I wuv him.

Sooooo nothing too bad happening aside from my dad being seemingly concerningly suicidal and giving me anxiety 24/7 because I'm scared he's going to overdose again while no one's looking; and my (ex?)girlfriend kind of having a fiance and not talking to me or apologizing since she gave me fleas... 😵‍💫

BUT ITS FINE. My new medicines make it hard to feel sad over situations that aren't really mine to control. ✨

Amidst all this and my scatterbrained situation, I was struggling to figure out how I wanted to approach my fanfics or whatever I wanted to do.

AND I FIGURED IT OUT! ✨

I'm going to RESTART!

I don't mean I'm deleting anything, but I'm going to go back to the beggining. I'll go rewrite and update my old fics and make them in the same format as my new fics!

Then, I'm posting all of my fics on A03 so I can better organize myself and make it easier for everyone to find my fics in one nice place.

I also want to work on my links... Because I found that some of them don't go to my fics anymore and I was getting pretty frustrated with it. 🤔 So I'm going to fix all that!

And hopefully I'm happy with everything once I'm finished. 😙 But that's what's up. I'm not out on purpose. I'm just trying to figure out a plan.
