Why is it always a shark that’s a villain in a fish movie. There’s so many cool and dangerous aquatic animals to choose from. Why can’t the villain be like a malicious billfish for once? Or a gang of mean mean orcas? I say this as a person who loves both of those animals by the way it’s just getting very really tiring, the shark slander

Mulan and Legend!! This one was so much fun! I definitely challenged myself with the background, but my favorite scene from the original Disney cartoon was the scene where Mulan's father sits with her on the stone bench beneath the cherry blossoms and encourages her. So, I kinda wanted to honor that in this one!!
I think that Legend would really respect Mulan; not only is she caring, smart, and kind, but she is also super tough and strong and a brave warrior!! She definitely could hold her own as Hero of Courage. So I think that Legend would really listen to her advice and her words of wisdom.
Sooooo I know the LU fandom loves to torture poor Legend, but I wanted to give him a break here 😂 He deserves it for sure!! Also, the pink flowers would perhaps remind him of... someone else, which would be a bittersweet moment for him.
I imagine that in this scene he kinda opens up to her about his own troubles and she encourages him with her own stories of her trials and successes, and how it all worked out in the end!
Anyways, sorry to ramble! I hope you all like it!! Thanks so much for your support!! Have a wonderful day/night! 🩵

Nice Guy figures out on Date One that Macaque isn't into him but refuses to admit it. (Macaque ends up doing one of his "therapy" vents.) He's also a guy with self-respect.
He ends up trying to awkwardly hint to Macaque that maybe he should say this stuff to Wukong, but he is not getting it.
because I don't want Nice Guy to suffer.
Very fair anon but I was gonna do a hilarious follow up I just wasn't fast enough lmaooo
What if -hear me out— they both realize pretty early on that neither of them are interested in each other but they still hit it off pretty well and they decide that they should just keep hanging out, going on dates and what nots because why not, I mean they're adults and they should go out and have fun, so queue all these outings that to anyone else would seem like dates but they're really not
The kids meet him because there's no pressure of "moms new boyfriend" but just moms friend and you get all these hilarious moments of Xiaoxing talking about the guy and going like "he's so cool and did you know he also likes Dragon Ball Z!!" And Xiaoyue is just vibing cause the guy got good vibes lmaoooo

Is White Diamond too lazy to try to take control of Steven's body? All she does in his dreams is angrily staring at him and talk crap about him.
What a fascinating theory! 😂
No.

Shoutout to all the fat queer mascs/men, especially the trans ones, who don't fit the existing archetypes for fat queer men that others might find comfort in.
Not all of us are bears, not all of us are dadcore, not all of us are soft, and that's okay. We don't have to be defined by an aesthetic or a vibe, and even if we want to be, that doesn't mean should hate ourselves for not neatly fitting in that box.
"You can be a bear" for the transmascs who are scared of gaining weight, or even any queer man who's gained weight, is all well and good for those it can apply to and those who will find joy in it
But I think "you can still be you" is better, and I think we need to hype up fat queer men and mascs more outside of what's become mainstream/accepted

It’s kind of lovely to me to have this in an episode of Protocol. It was the Archives’ fandom that introduced me to the “5-4-3-2-1” grounding technique for panic attacks, and it's just really nice to see it carried over into the show itself as well <3

as president of the sodapop curtis bawl baby club, what kind of stuff do you think he cries about
I didn’t know I was president of that club, or that it was even a club, but I accept this role with great delight! May the bawl baby agenda live on.
I think Soda cries easily (and often) over little things, but represses over big things. In a lot of ways he’s an unbothered king, and simply does not care, but I can see his natural empathy/sensitivity working against him. This is a kid who would cry over worms dying on the sidewalk. He cries over a teddy bear abandoned in the parking lot. He cries over the dogs at the shelter who never get picked. Ponyboy writes Soda a birthday card and he sobs buckets over it for a full 15 minutes because he’s so touched.
Soda’s emotions are like a spring thunderstorm; they appear unexpected, hit hard, and are gone just as quickly. He seems to feel everything all at once all the time, but always bounces back, so it’s assumed his sensitivity is surface level and doesn’t deeply affect him.
But I think Sodapop cries over little things because he can’t express himself with big things. He holds back on the things that really matter, that actually cause him pain, because he’s busy making space for the emotions of the people around him. He doesn’t want to worry his brothers, or give them extra burden. Also he doesn’t think his problems are as bad or worthy of attention as theirs
At his core, Soda is a caregiver, and the one thing caregivers are chronically bad at is receiving care. Nobody realizes when he’s struggling because he always seems so stable, and they just assume that if he was having a hard time, he’d show it—like he does with everything else. He’s the gentle one, the listener, the one who always understands, and most importantly, nothing ever seems to get him down.
So on the rare occasions when he does break, like at the end of the book—not just teary eyes over an abandoned teddy bear, but truly loses it—he breaks hard because months of pent up emotion is exploding out of him like a busted dam.
It scares his brothers to death.

What are your thoughts on Peter's dad (Dink from his universe) actually being alive this whole time and just faked his death? Like how in The Amazing Spider-man 2, Peter's dad turned out to be alive in a deleted scene.
i LOVEEE Garfield's Spider-Man!! a lot (and i mean a lot) of Peter's backstory is pulled from his movies (as well as other Spider-Man media but mostly Garfield's) so there might be some inspo taken from there for a plot line a while from now... ;3
