"What the herd hates most is the one who thinks differently; It's not so much the opinion itself, but the boldness of wanting to think for yourself - an ability of which they themselves are not capable." Arthur Schopenhauer.

What if I just have to accept where I am
What if I just have to be, who I am now
What if I just have to fight to find the calm I need
What if everything is worth it, and life is actually beautiful

Silence & Free Thought
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Become the watcher and the witness of your mind; I promise it’s divine. When you become the watcher of your thoughts… witnessing silly thoughts of doubt and fear pass by like clouds… this is where you find presence. Presence is the portal for the miraculous. In presence peace and bliss are both found… but first it requires stillness. Free your mind and the rest will follow! Hope this helps!

There are individual benefits to always questioning reality, especially since no one can tell you factually what it’s all about. All we have are theories, so it’s best to think logically for oneself versus allowing someone else to think for you. Many people are too lazy to think for themselves or afraid to go against conventional opinion though.

simultaneously conscious and subconscious
it doesn’t know anything else besides what you think. the human mind is so complex but simple and that’s what makes it complex because we think it’s too complex because humans complicate everything.
if that makes sense
programming ourselves is just a sentence away
the problem arises in the human flaw of consistency because change is the only absolute
so we are ALWAYS destroying ourselves and reconstructing ourselves at the same time.
It’s all up to you to define who you are, I’m glad you are learning to detach yourself from the perspective of others.
what anyone thinks of you is their problem.
you have cared deeply for people for too long.
you don’t need to take the responsibility of their thoughts, only your thoughts matter.
but, use your manners, kindness is effective and efficient.

A scientist in his laboratory is not a mere technician: he is also a child confronting natural phenomena that impress him as though they were fairy tales.
― Marie Curie, a Polish and naturalised-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person to win a Nobel Prize twice, and the only person to win a Nobel Prize in two scientific fields. Her husband, Pierre Curie, was a co-winner of her first Nobel Prize, making them the first married couple to win the Nobel Prize (x)

In life courtesy and self-possession, and in the arts style, are the sensible impressions of the free mind, for both arise out of a deliberate shaping of all things, and from never being swept away, whatever the emotion, into confusion or dullness.
- W.B. Yeats
