Like I’ve mentioned before, I think they fell in love at first sight. There’s just something about them that has you thinking and reflecting on “oh, soulmates are real! wow”. 

And it’s easy to see from videos and photos from xfactor that they were both head over heels with each other. 

They have been together for going over 10 years now, so Louis fell harder doesn’t really describe that type of relationship. A long-term relationship isn’t about the crazy initial stages, where there may be periods of time when one is further ahead in their feelings than the other. Like Harry has said, it’s about becoming a team, knowing you have that one person by your side no matter what.

And now, from their lyrics, I think it’s clear they both feel extremely strongly about each other. Harry is always comparing his lover and partner to the sun, to feelings of summer, happiness and warmth. Like a deep ingrained love and desire. There’s deep admiration in Harry’s lyrics - so I think he admires Louis a lot. And that could be seen even in the early days of their relationship, in the way Harry looked at Louis - it was pure love, admiration and devotion, and it sounds like it still is. Harry is a hopeless romantic. And in Louis’ lyrics you can hear how he’s found the one. He speaks to it always being the two of them, of going through obstacles and overcoming them, of loving someone so much and knowing that, from the moment you met when you were 18, that they were your soulmate, they were the one. There’s a lot of support and pure loving in Louis’ lyrics - he will be by Harry’s side no matter what, he will always be there. Together they can get through anything.
