but yeah <3 bloom and sky would fall for each other like in canon but there would be added tension because of The Secret. in my au, bloom hasn't fully realized or accepted that she's a lesbian yet! she Kinda realized with andy but is also a little dense and thought her not being into him once they started dating was normal. then she realized that No it's not that normal and she starts to wonder if she's even into guys. when she meets sky, she's fully convinced that sky is a boy and falls for him but is also conflicted and continues to question her sexuality.

After that, he started noticing it every night. They all would sit around the campfire at the end of the day, talking or sometimes drinking Zuko's tea, and then suddenly Zuko would be gone.

It's not a big deal, Sokka doesn't think much of it, but as soon as Zuko moves to stand up from where he's sitting next to Sokka that particular night, Sokka reaches out a hand to stop him. Zuko freezes, confused, and Sokka freezes too, remembering how earlier that day his hand had grabbed Zuko to catch him on the gondola...

"Sokka?" Zuko asks, and Sokka jumps out of his trance, letting go quickly and giving him a smile.

"Don't leave yet," Sokka says before he can change his mind, then rushes to think of an excuse other than after the last two days I feel safer with you here and I'd feel safer knowing you're okay... "The weather is so nice, it's better to sleep out in the breeze with us."

Zuko looks surprised, but then he smiles, relaxing back into his seat. "Yeah, okay. I'll stay."
