Pairing: Rex Lapis x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: An incident caused all of them to drift apart. Now because of that one incident, another will be erased.
A/n: I was reading a zhongli fiction when this popped up in my head. Tbh I did not like the way I wrote this but anyway, I hope you enjoy. Thank you for reading!
________________________ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ_________
The God of Dust, Guizhong, first met you, the God of Fate, through Cloud Retainer. Xianyun knew you before she got to know Guizhong.
You had lived in solitude ever since Celestia granted you your life. Xianyun first met you when she accidentally wandered into your cave. From then on your called her your.. friend.
Xianyun was the one who introduced you to the rest of the Adepties. And Guizhong was the one who accepted you the most. From there, started your relationship with Morax.
You were there when Morax gave life to Azhdaha. You saw Xianyun and Guizhong bicker over the mechanisms. You watched the baby yakshas grow.
Yet, none of you ever expected the matter to be so grave that it would tear all of you apart.
_________________________________________
You were fighting with someone until Morax asked you to bring Guizhong to safety. You gave a nod to him and headed straight for Guizhong.
Morax was fighting some weak god while you were escorting Guizhong to safety. Morax wanted to ascend to one of the seven seats.
While running away from the battlefield, you and her come face to face with a god..
The glint in his eyes told you that he was not here for her but you...
Within a second, both your and his blades clash together. He felt powerful compared to you. With swift movement he cut you several times on your body.
Knowing you couldn't win, you asked Guizhong to run. To get to safety before he harms her as well.
"You must leave! Now!..Even with the both of us together, we cannot defeat him!" You shouted to your friend.
"You're wounded y/n! Do you hear yourself?! I am not leaving you behind!" Guizhong shouted back.
Suddenly you fell on your knees, having bled too much.
"Please.. Guizhong.. he's here for me.. I won't forgive myself if he hurts you.." you spoke, voice weak.
"So you do know.... Hah.. the God of Fate really seems to care for you...God.. of Dust. But tell me, oh God of Fate, why do you wish to protect this measly God. She has done nothing but take your time away from your beloved.
Even in battle he seems to care more for her safety than yours."
With that you understood who he was. He was the God of Manipulation. He's trying his powers to win against you. Trying to make you mentally unstable so you couldn't fight. And.. it was working..
You loved Guizhong. She was a great friend. But sometimes you felt insecure that Morax loved her than you, his lover.
"Stop trying to get in her head. Y/n you know these are all lies. Rex Lapis is a good friend of mine nothing else." Guizhong said, desperate to bring you back from your mind.
You shoved your head between your knees and grasped your hair. Blood oozing out of your wounds and mouth.
The God of Manipulation didn't like how Guizhong's voice was rebelling against his powers.
Just when you were back to reality, you saw him holding your friend by the neck, chocking her.
You tried to go towards them but it was too late. Her body dropped dead. Right infront of you.
You went to grasp your blade but he was quick. He instantly appeared in front of you and kicked you hard. Because of the previous wounds, the impact of the kick made you lose your consciousness.
_________________________________________
A harsh slap landed on your cheek.
"You're the reason why she's dead! All because you're too pathetic that you can't even trust your close ones!" Streetward Rambler shouted, almost hitting you again.
You kept your head low the entire time. Tears silently falling from your eyes.
"That is enough. She wasn't in her right mind to do anything. She was wounded and bled a lot." Xianyun spoke, trying to calm the situation.
"She wasn't in her right mind because she doubted Guizhong and Rex Lapis! You know what? You're right, Guizhong is far better suited for Rex Lapis than you ever could be. I wouldn't have even come near you if you weren't Rex Lapis's lover!" With that, Streetward Rambler left Mt. Aocang.
You watched as one by one all the Adepties left. Only Xianyun stayed behind.
"Y/n..."
"I'm sorry this all happened because of me.." you left after that. Some of your wounds reopening because of Streetward Rambler's hits.
_________________________________________
You hadn't seen Morax since that fateful day. He has ascended as the Lord of Geo.
You were inside your personal teapot, that xianyun had give you, when you saw Morax enter. He.. looked different. Probably because of Guizhong's death.
He had a stoic expression. You stood up from the ground and came face to face with him.
"Love-" you started but were interrupted.
"You had one job." Said Morax.
"But you have to listen to me. He, the god-" you tried again.
"You don't have to explain. It is very clear that you are incapable of doing even a simple job and clearly undeserving of being a God."
You couldn't help but feel a pang in your heart. It's as if the entire world turned against you. Your lover, your friends, everyone.
"Deares-"
"It's Rex Lapis for you from now on."
It hurt, hearing those words coming from the one you love. Tears falling but no one to wipe them.
You ran. Ran and left the teapot, leaving the God of Contracts alone, rethinking and regretting his choices.
_________________________________________
The next few days were odd. Morax looked everywhere for you but to no avail.
After a week, Xianyun got the idea of where you could have gone to.
She told Morax about the cave where you used to live. Morax hurried before anyone could speak another word.
Upon his arrival, he saw a cave surrounded by darkness. But when he stepped inside he could smell blood.
He followed through the path and found a chamber of sort. There was a puddle of blood in the corner.
When he went closer, his eyes widened. There you laid, a blade stabbed into your heart by your own hands. The very same blade which he had once given you.
He quickly crouched down and touched your cheek. You opened your eyes, your energy decreasing profusely.
"Dearest... Why?" Questioned Morax.
You gave a weak smile and said
" why?..... Because i.. am undeserving of life.. because i..am weak.."
"No no. I take back everything I said. I was not in my right mind. Hang in there... I'll take back.. I will heal you with the best healers.."
"No... My.. time is.. over.. i will no longer.. bother you anymore."
Morax noticed how your body has different cuts on different parts. Probably from the battle. How could he not know earlier.
His eyes watered. He gently hugged your small form close to his chest.
"I.. am the...God of..Fate. Hah.. yet, i couldn't even change mine.. nor could I escape it..
I'm sorry Rex Lapis, i truly am.. I can only hope you forgive me.." and with that your eyes close forever.
Rex Lapis..... It felt foreign coming from your tongue..
_________________________________________
The Adepties sat on the chairs, on Mt. Aocang. They saw Rex Lapis... carrying your body..
Xianyun inspected the body careful to be really sure it was your, a tear slipping from her eyes.
The Adepties.. were never the same again. All scattered. Xianyun held a grudge against Streetward Rambler.
_________________________________________
Morax now went by the name of Zhongli, a mere consultant in the Wangsheng funeral parlour.
He was walking down the streets of Liyue. When he heard someone call out.
"Dearest!"
The same voice like yours....
He immediately turned around and there you stood exactly the same.. you were waving.
A smile was about to be spread on his face when he saw a ginger haired boy running past him and going to you.
He held your waist and kissed you. Zhongli's heart broke for the second time. You were reincarnated but he won't be able to get your love anymore....
He looked and then headed back.. unable to face the fact that he was no longer yours and that you were....
..No longer his...

omg omg how would fragile reader use foxtorre in gameplay? idk why the first thing i thought of is reader throwing it at their enemies but they wouldnt do that 😭 im suddenly thinking how their gameplay would be like, their vision, their idles, etc... IF YOU COULD PLEASE MAKE VOICELINES FOR THEM I THINK IT WOULD BE COOL
Fragile reader throws the creature onto the field to do the work for them! Depending on whether their skill is held or tapped, Foxttore will summon multiple little Puffttores that will attack enemies to heal the team or do damage, based on reader’s current HP. Using the skill also consumes a set amount of fragile reader's HP. But using their burst will let them recover HP, as they will steal a certain percentage of HP from their fellow party members. All they want to be is healthy, they can be a little selfish, no? But fragile reader isn’t that mean, they’ll grant the party members who they stole HP from a random buff (ATK, crit rate/dmg, EM, etc) so they can sit back and relax as the others fight for them. And no, they won’t steal HP from Dottore or another Harbinger on the team, that’s their beloved and their friends after all! But they can’t do elemental reactions, they don’t want that horrid thing from Celestia and even if they got one they would refuse to use it. (But I still have hope another element will be added, I cannot see Dottore using a Vision HE BETTER NOT he’s stronger than that 😞)
Their idles include pulling out Foxttore and squeezing it really tightly, and then they suddenly pause for a few seconds as they feel something fuzzy moving inside of their shirt... and then a few small Puffttores jump out of their clothes making them laugh :) Another one, i imagine they carry around a small bag to hold their necessary items (such as medication) but also to bring around a scrapbook they've made with all their memories. Lots of photos and journal entries spanning many years. They pull it out and flip through it, before sighing almost sadly and putting it away again. Their BIS weapon is the same one from centuries ago, Dottore had preserved it for all those years so they could use it once again (not really though because they wobble all over the place if you use their normal attacks)
Hello: "I am [Name]. I doubt I'll be much help to you, but I'm here now. By the way, I won't do anything I don't want to. If you have a problem with that, you can take it up with Dottore."
About the Archons: "... Do not mention them in front of me... it makes me sick to my stomach, thinking about the divine. However, there is one exception - the Tsaritsa of course. She is truly the epitome of what a God should be, benevolent and kind. I may not be able to help much, but I will support her until the end. When you meet her, Traveler, I hope you will understand her goals."
About the Illness: "Ah, my sickness... it has plagued me for countless years, laying a horrible curse upon my body and mind. It's... it's been quite difficult sometimes... er, forgive me. It's hard to speak about."
"Oh... to be honest, Paimon always thought you were faking it for the Fatui's goals to some extent."
"... this is why I only confide in Dottore."
About Dottore: "My one and only... words cannot express my tenderness and love toward him. Not once has he given up on me, despite the times I've given up on myself. And he has always taken care of me, not once faltering in over four hundred years. I- I don't know what to do sometimes when faced with that information. I wish I could be... less of a burden on him... *sigh*"
About the Akademiya: "Say, does anything good come out of that school anymore? Hm? You say a brilliant mage graduated from there and is now a librarian? Well, good for her. Who would want to be associated with them anyway? And there's also a doctor who's very sick, searching for the answer to immortality? Well now... how interesting."
About the Past: "You wish to know about my past? Well, there's not too much to say. I was a regular student in the Akademiya before I met Dottore, and we fell in love... we did many things together before I... It's not like it matters anymore, being the way I am now..."
Chat - The Body: “One’s body is extremely important, yet many take it for granted. Please, make sure to treasure and love your body. It does more for you than you could ever imagine.”
Chat - Walks: "I love taking walks. It seems so normal to you but, it brings me great happiness. Especially now... I have not felt the sun caress my body or the soft breeze sweep through my hair for a long, long time. Hm? I don't mind if you come with, but... Dottore will be joining me shortly. Would you like to see him? No? Hehe."
When it Rains: "Oh no... do you have an umbrella? Dottore's going to- a-achoo!- get mad at me for not taking care of myself properly..."
Likes - Dancing: "O-oh. You saw me just now? I was just... practicing. I'm not very good at it, but dancing with Dottore as he twirls me around makes me... happy. I just need to stop tripping and falling over his feet all the time."
Nahida - About You: "You've met the Doctor's spouse? Please, would you enlighten me about them some more? I have always been extremely curious about the kind of person who would capture his attention. Hmm... I see. Still sick, are they? Perhaps Dottore sees something in them that the rest of us cannot. Though, I have to commend their spirit. Being able to wake up every day and face what's in front of them while being afflicted with such a condition... takes a strong will."

For all the monkey children, what are some headcannons you have for them as siblings? Things like favorite sibling, rivalries, any 'middle child' syndrome, etc.
Im personally most curious about Qi Haoyu and Qi Bao as the oldest and youngest
Oh my GOSH I just want to gush about this cute little Monkey Family! To the point I was writing a lot. So I am going to do it in sections. This first part will be just about Haoyu to start, and then I'll post each sibling separately to highlight other connections. You'll still get a lot of good insight about all of them through this :D
—-
Haoyu:
Rivalries are non-existent. Perhaps because he is the oldest, he doesn’t feel this with any of his siblings. Though outsiders like to gossip and theorize that MK and him are rivals to be Wukong’s “true successor”, in truth, both never view it that way. Haoyu is tall, so his siblings often climb on him like a tree to see further away, or just to talk to him. Haoyu doesn’t smile often. Or show much emotion, a very stoic monkey. His Siblings know how to make him laugh. He has the most expectations on his back as the first born, often heavily compared to Wukong. Many try to gain favor from him due to this, and he struggles to tell the difference from honest intentions to dishonest ones.
MK and Haoyu often train late into the night together, taking the training the most seriously out of all the siblings. Whatever MK doesn't understand from his training with his Baba and Dad, it is Haoyu that can often make it clear. When MK is stressed about their “Destiny” it is Haoyu who can assure his worries, being someone the world looks at in a similar fashion. While MK is nervous to reveal his worries to everyone else, because he doesn’t wish to worry them, he does confide in Haoyu and Xiaohua the most.
Xiaohua and Haoyu both love to seek out new land. While Xiaohua is more in for the views and new people, he is eager to help Haoyu’s treasure hunting obsession, as Xiaohua also likes shiny things. It is thanks to Haoyu that his parents let him go on adventures even before he is an adult, so long as he doesn’t leave his big brother’s side. Both are similarly naive to marketplace “Deals”, but Xiaohua at least can tell when demons and celestias try to trick his big brother into “helping” them. Haoyu does hit anyone who calls Xiaohua “Little Flower”.
You would often find Sying clinging to Haoyu’s back when they were younger as whenever she got upset, she would go to him and rant about her feelings. He was a good listener and continued to train even as she clung to his back. You will sometimes still see her do this. She goes to Haoyu for advice on relationships, and other issues. Helps Sying with her training as he is literally a wall. So she practices the swing of her fan by trying to move an immovable object- her brother. When discovering her laser eyes, she accidentally gave Haoyu a not so flattering haircut and singed his fur for a while.
Haoyu knows of Savage’s secret girlfriend and keeps this knowledge to himself. Haoyu once left home to explore and was 3 days away before he realize Savage and Rumble had hid in the shadows below his feet. Not long after turning around, Wukong realizes what must have happened and met with Haoyu half way. There is a reason Rumble and Savage were born as they are but have never been told why by their parents. Haoyu knows the reason why, but has never told his parents he knows this knowledge. Haoyu like to play board games the most with Savage as his little brother makes him laugh the most.
While Haoyu can speak some words and is not completely deaf, he often only speaks to Rumble through sign language. These two often like to meditate together in complete silence, enjoying the peace. If Haoyu were to admit he has a favorite, it would be a heavy tie between Rumble and Savage, as these two tend to be the ones to make him laugh the most. Rumble often shares many of his interests. When Rumble and Savage were little, you would find the two sneaking out of their beds to have sleepovers with many of their siblings- Haoyu being the most common sibling to find the two in his bed the following morning. Out of all their siblings, Rumble hides the most in Haoyu’s shadow.
Haoyu is often dragged around by Xue to go shopping and carry her bags for her. She likes to design clothes, so due to Haoyu’s ability to stand perfectly still for long periods of time, he is her mannequin. She discusses politics with him, though it is mostly her doing the talking and Haoyu nodding quietly. He doesn’t speak fondly of politics, but he at least understands them unlike the rest of their siblings. Haoyu’s nails are often new shades of color and cutely designed because of Xue. She makes all of his outfits, and the rest of her siblings. Haoyu gets pouty sometimes because Xue is very good at tricking him.
It was extremely difficult for Haoyu to properly bond with Bao, but not because of their age gape. It was due to Haoyu often using sign to speak, and Bao being unable to read sign due to being blind. They found a system to resolve this. Haoyu has a small hand drum that his Baba used to use to calm him down when he was little and overwhelmed. It’s a noise he can hear clearly and likes. He keeps this drum on his hip when home, so Bao can always hear when he is approaching/so that Haoyu doesn’t accidentally startle Bao. Haoyu also use his index finger to write on Bao’s palms to talk. Rumble does a similar thing for Bao. Haoyu is protective of Bao, but often shows this quietly, by removing foes or obstacle to Bao long before Bao even realizes they are there. When Bao was an infant, if their parents had to leave at the same time, Haoyu was entrusted to hold, feed, and change Bao.

(I’m debating between gold and blue eyes. Blue because of… certain reasons. So for now, his eyes are blue. This may change)

What About Scaramouche? Like not Wanderer, Sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers Scaramouche.
Scaramouche, The Sixth Harbinger, is on False Creator's side.
Because they promised him a throne of an Archon. As soon, as they have one available.
When Creator decided, what to do with Dendro Archon.
"Don't bow so low, Scaramouche. You are a future Archon. Carry yourself with more dignity." gently scolds Creator. Scaramouche lift his head, looking at Their Holiness. At the embodiment of power and grace.
_________
Scaramouche bowed before Ivory Throne. Creator's voice was calm and welcoming.
He didn't dare to ask, when he will get his title. He believed in Creator. They will fulfill their promise. They were above people and gods. Above the sin of lie.
Yet, Scaramouche wished, that the days of his godhood came sooner.
If only that stubborn Dendro Archon will make up their mind.
________
Devine came into Sanctuary of Surasthana. Something more devine, in the eyes of other people, than Dendro Archon, trapped inside the Sanctuary. Devine were there before. They didn't get what they want before. Devine hopped, that this time, they will get it.
"Don't worry, dear child. I will let you free." Devine sang their siren song. "But before... Say it."
Dendro Archon, who was trapped for all her life, looked smug. Devine came to hate that smug smile.
Like before, Nahida tilted her head. And repeated the same words.
"Where are your familiars, Holy One? Where are the ones, who helped you built this world? Who faced down armies of usurpers, battled demons, who have healed your wounds and carried your broken body across war scarred plains? Why their home, your cradle, lay in shambles?"
Devine slammed both hands against the surface of Nahida's cage. Their eyes, for a moment, lost focus. Nahida knew, that, if one of her aranaras was here, they would say, that "Marana showed itself".
They weren't a god.
They were Marana.
Corruption. Sin. Destruction.
"Wrong answer..."
The illusion, that False Creator created and wears upon themselves, was broken. And Nahida saw them. Yellowish sharp teeth. Her cage didn't let smells, but Nahida knew, that Fake's breath smells of rotten flesh.
Nahida knew, that she was safe. Irmensul will listen only to her.
And Fake will not risk it. They wouldn't want to spend their powers on taking control over Irmensul.
No powers means no illusion. No illusion means no praises, no followers, no throne of Devine.
Nahida looked Fake in the eyes. Unblinking.
Fake let out an almost animalistic roar. They breathe in, turned on their heels and stomped away.
Illusion was on again.
"I am getting impatient, child. Be a good kid, and think again. And I will let you out of the room."
Doors of Sanctuary of Surasthana closed behind Fake.
And Nahida reached out to Irmensul. Through the invisible thread. The last gift of dead Celestial.
'Safe real Creator. Don't let Demon got them.'
Irmensul branches, that were hiding remains of Celestia were still whole.
Perhaps, one day, they will help Real Creator.
__________
In a three month, The Imposter Hunt will begin.
__________
Scaramouche will do anything to secure his future position. He and his Fatui subordinates will burn Teyvat, if it means they could find an Imposter.
And, after Nahida's involvement in helping Imposter was discovered, Scaramouche will personally tear Sanctuary of Surasthana apart.
Scaramouche will get the title of an Archon. He will get Dendro Gnosis.
If only he knew, where Previous Archon has disappeared, why he can't reach Irmensul, and where Imposter was hiding?
_________
Your boat stopped at one of the deserted shores of Fontaine. Nahida tell you, that you can find help here.
The small stone flower, creation of Nahida and one of the Celestia gods, felt heavy in your bag.
It was your link with Irmensul. And with remains of Celestia. With remains of Real Creator's powers.

Based off my previous SAGAU post about a hunted reader meeting the Tsaritsa. Multiple connected bite sized povs combined. Pov's are as follows: the creator's sibiling, the reader, Lumine. Implied violence
The Other Half
There was a new trailer that had come out for Genshin Impact. While they had to admit they were excited for it, it still hurt as they had played the game with their sibling constantly. Sighing they booted up their computer, getting ready to start streaming for their fans. As they got Set up, they watched their chat fill up with love, chat aware of the recent loss and giving the best encouragement they could. Preparing they turned on their Vtubing model and got to work.
"Hey! Hello! I see all my happy little chatters out there! Um, I know I haven't been streaming like usual after y'know everything." More words and hearts filled chat, they too were grieving the loss of their favorite streamer's sibiling. "I am ready to start playing Genshin again though. I know everyone has missed it and even though its not gonna be the same without them, i want everyone to know that i am still going to play it. So, how about we see that new trailer, yeah?"
Chat was going too fast to see much, but it didn't take a genius to know they were excited. Finding the trailer called Flowers For a Blooming Spirit, they began to watch in anticipation, unaware of what was happening in it was very real.
--------
It was snowing in Snezhnaya like it always. Thick snow covering a large castle that held two very important idividuals inside. The camera shifts, showing a woman with a white dress and thick cloak to match it. The woman sat on a throne facing towards someone who has their back to the camera. They both were talking but it seemed to be coming to end by the time the camera shows them. The camera shows the bottom of the womans but not the rest. She begins to speak.
"My Lamb, I know this is of great importance to you, but are you sure you want to do this alone?" The camera shows the other being from the neck down, showing that they are wearing and identical cloak to the woman's.
"I am fully aware of my current prediciment. I want to see Paimon and my other half. Don't worry old friend, I will try not to get into too much trouble." The Lamb's face is revealed to show a mask covering it. Though the shape and origin of it is unknown, it covers the whole face. The one known as The Lamb turns their heel, beginning to leave the room. The woman says one final thing before The Lamb leaves.
"Do be careful. You know i worry about you, My Divine Lamb."
New Story Arc: The Deluded Dreaming Of Gods
New Character: The Lamb - ???? - Abyssal
Event Wish Preview:
First Phase: Albedo - Xiao
Second Phase: The Lamb - Tartaglia
New Event: The Ludi Harpastum Festival
------
The Lamb
Appreantly, when one is watched by the other twin creator, they are forced to follow a script. While it had little effect on you, Teyvat seemed try and restrict any mention of the relationship between the other twin and The Traveler. It also felt odd to be watched, you had thought it to be more like a cold chill but instead it was a warm blanket. You hoped you looked cool being watched even if it was something trivial like talking to The Tsaritsa.
It had only been a mere handful of years since the hunt for your head had happened, The Great Hunt as it was now called. Alot would be an understatement for what has happened between then and now. Between being an honorary harbinger and meeting Paimon, you had been busy trying to right things on Teyvat. As badly as most everyone had treated you when you first descended, you had grown fond of Teyvat and almost everyone in it. Well, except Celestia and the Twin Imposters.
Abyssal energy hummed in the back of your mind, demanding attention in your thoughts too. That was another thing, the abyss called to you and allowed you to use it. In fact, it was eager to do your bidding as long as you loved it in turn. The Abyss was not chained down by the seals covering your body, thus allowing you to use it in almost in its entirety. Of course that came with drawbacks, like a month power nap and Teyvat being displeased that you had forced parts of the two planes together. The Abyss and Teyvat were like cats in a way, you had thought. Being petty towards each other and getting jealous over who got attention from their parent, but working together in order to get everything functioning like it should. If only they could do it without overstimulating your mind with whispering at times.
"Little Lamb we are here. Oh, come on don't give me that look, you were the one who wanted to show up to the Ludi Harpastum festival knowing fully well we had work to do first." Pantalone's voice gently waded through the carriage. He was correct that there was work to do, but the wine was more important to you. Well, other than watching Venti shit himself at the fact that you were very much alive and seeing The Traveler. You were right outside the gates of Mondstat and Fatui soldiers and diplomats were waiting for you and Pantalone. Quietly groaning, you got out of the carriage and walked with Pantalone to the Goth Grand Hotel.
A few of the locals did not seem pleased with your and Pantalone's arrival, but kept it to themselves. The Knights of Favonius, however, were tenser than wooden boards. You tried to focus on something other than upcoming meeting and looking at the festival decorations could only do so much. God, you hoped Pantalone would do most the talking. After the horrendously awkward meeting between you and Furina last time, you could only hope that Pantalone would do the talking. You did not want a repeat of last time, especially now that you were likely to be watched by both your sibiling, the entirety of their chat, and the civilians of Monstat.
Walking into Goth Grand Hotel, you took a second to appreciate the interior because of was one beautiful building. Looking back, you were led into a large room were most all of the fatui stationed inside Mondstat were. Noticing that they were now in the presence of 2 high ranking officals, someone ordered the room to attention. You and Pantalone stood in front of the group.
"Now that's more like it. No more meddling about, hmm? First order of buisness, we are well aware of a few rats in this building so let us deal with that first." Pantalone's voice rang clearly throughout the large room. You knew you were about to feel guilty about not being able to save the poor sops were about to be taken off payroll. You knew Pantalone did not like mora wasted and those who have betrayed both the fatui and him were nothing but wastes of mora. Oh well, there wasn't much you could say now that would save their lives. Might as well try to think of a swift death for them that wasn't bloody.
-------------
LUMINE
Lumine was trekking her way back to Mondstat for the Ludi Harpastum Festival. According to Paimon, the Festival was 15 days long and had just about everything you could imagine a festival having. While Lumine was excited, she couldn't shake the gut feeling that something was off about this festival. While Kaeya's letter was mostly about the festival, he made mention of Fatui Harbingers being there. In Lumine's experience, Harbingers often meant something big was about to happen. As she came atop the hill, she felt the warm presence come back to her. It had been gone for what felt like forever. Standing by the Statue of the Seven, Lumine took a moment to compose herself.
"Traveler! The Ludi Harpastum Festival is gonna start soon if we don't hurry up! Oh Paimon is so excited. Do you think they will have lots of food?" Paimon appeared beside her, high pitched voice rattling on about food.
Taking off towards Mondstat, Lumine made it to the gates just before the evening hours. However, the guards seemed to be about ready to turn to stone with how tense they were. "Hey is it just Paimon or does everyone seem really tense?" Paimon floated close to Lumine's ear, whisepering as she spoke. "Maybe Jean or Keaya will know something. Let's go ask them." Lumine nodded and headed to the Headquarters of the Knights Of Favonius. When she finally made it and asked a Stressed looking Jean, it appeared she was right, something was off.
"Oh, yes, they have every right to be stressed. With how many have already showed up to the festival and the arrival of two Fatui Harbingers every knight is stressed out. But, please, do not let that distract you from having fun at the festival." Jean had explained, rubbing her temples as she did so. It seemed her work never ended. The festival was already a stressful time of year for the knights and two harbingers showing uo only added to it. On top of that, the Harbinger called "The Lamb" was suspected to be one of the hands of the Tsraritsa herself. Any wrong doing could completely sour the already fragile relationship with the Fatui. She did not want risk a diplomatic incident with someone like that. Jean watched as Lumine nodded.
"I do not want to seem like i am overstepping or trying to ruin your time here, but if you wouldn't mind keeping an eye out for anything suspicious I would greatly appreicate it. Please, have a wonderful time first and foremost. Now, if you do not mind I have a meeting to prepare for. Go out and have fun and hopefully i will be able join you soon." Jean had shooed Lumine out of the office. Lumine smiled before nodding and leaving to join the festival activities. It was nearly evening afterall and she didn't want to miss even a single minute of activites with friends.
Unaware of the looming ghosts, Lumine went and enjoyed festivites and met with old friends. The Lamb prepared for an eventful next few days. Between haunting Venti for his crimes against them and preparing to meet Lumine, The Lamb had their plate full. Pantalone prepares to move his chess pieces in the most profitable direction that won't entirely spoil Fatui and Mondstat relations. All of them entangled in a web that The Lamb themselves partially created to expose the concept of Divine Creator to their sibiling.

---------------
A word from the author:
This was originally written to be multiple parts and way different then I thought. This was also a test of my strength when i comes to writing an actual semi connected short story thing. I was not satisfied with the original work so i remade it into this snippet. I would delete it, but i wish to keep it so into this little dumpster it goes.
I try not to make the Reader into too much of an OC but i find it difficult to not make it an OC insert sometimes when i write. Hopefully its not too much like an OC when read. The Ludi Harpastum Festival is an actual thing in Genshin. I am not making that up.

Genshin Impact: The Overworked God [1]
Part 2
Summary: In which one of the lore writers who help write the world of Genshin Impact was suddenly thrusted in the very world they created. He doesn't know how this happened and the way home seemed like a pipe dream.
Well, testing characters is one thing, but playing God?
Oh boy.
Note: SAGAU if you squint but not really. Mainly fluff and healing mainly between a tired worker and the oldest Archon.
Male OC!
Warning: Genshin themes with mentions of war, and death. And OC needs some rest.
Tumblr media
"Good morning, your Grace."
"5 more minutes..?"
"You are the Creator."
It took approximately one hard pinch to the elbow and 55 seconds later that Kai decided (albeit begrudgingly) that this was his reality.
Always negotiate the terms and pay for any job.
Payment is obviously going back home, but also monetary compensation, enough to retire early as a billionaire. And maybe a nice villa. Or bed.
Until Kai goes home, he might as well get an easier life here.
Which clearly did not go as intended.
"I will not be the babysitter for any Archon." Kai already has countries to run, royal families to manage, and human relationships are ever so complicated. He doesn't have the time nor desire to babysit gods for goodness sake.
And besides, the 7 Archons comes so much later in time!
He's a game writer, not a politician or babysitter! It's only because he played kingdom simulation games before and read too many fictional works that he could figure things out.
Celestia is supposed to be his assistant since he's the Creator, but isn't he working too hard!? At this point, he's gonna retire early!
"But your Grace, you cannot manage the world yourself. Archons can help manage them for you!"
Yes, Celestia gave up in speaking in elegant and ambiguous ways after their first negotiation session.
Kai thought about it for a bit before agreeing, anything that spelled less work for him, he'll take it!
"But, I'm not going to be a babysitter!"
Archon war?
Stop making me do more work!
What happened? It was peaceful for such a long time!
Was it because there were too many gods or powerful creatures? Damn Celestia, you're supposed to keep it under control!
Kai has a migraine everyday, so this wasn't surprising, but did the gods have to fight each other, just so only 7 left?!
Celestia!
"It must be done your Grace! Isn't this what you and your team wrote?"
"Well I changed my mind."
"Your Grace! If you go out there now, they will use you and your powers!"
"But I can't watch people die just because some stupid god or creature that wants power!"
Celestia remained silent at his outburst.
"Tempus. It's too late, it had already begun."
"Celestia!"
"Everything is your will after all. You wrote the story, didn't you?"
It was then did Kai realize that Celestia didn't follow him, but rather the words and designs set by his team in the real world.
Celestia is like an AI robot, one that only acts in accordance to the wishes of it's Creator.
But isn't he the Creator right now?! Does this mean he needs more power to be recognized, or overthrow the set system?
Kai stomped out in fury and for the first time, not as Kai, but the God of Time and Creation.
Tempus.
Tempus never thought he would play God, but here he is, relying on his godly powers to save what's left of his creation.
"Tempus."
Kai sent his final message to his country's royal family before turning to greet the rude guest.
"Morax." One of the 7 victors of war, a newly appointed Archon, entered without announcing anything beforehand and immediately strides towards Kai.
When Morax stops in front of him, there's an awkward silence between them, and Kai knows this man is waiting for something.
"No." But Kai declines. He's got why too much things to deal with and he's not going to do something he's done too many times.
"Guizhong is dead." Kai frowns, ah, of course.
"Please." Morax pleads, and Kai is put at odds when seeing the Lord of Geo so weak, so desperate.
"Morax. You know I cannot."
"Kai." He almost hisses, and Kai could care less.
"I'll do anything to bring everyone back."
"They will die no matter what."
Because I wrote it.
"Shut up!" Kai does not flinch when the God of Contracts claws at him. He simply stares into those golden eyes of fury and desperation.
"Turn back time! Do it!" The entire world quakes at his call, and Tempus is stuck.
Stuck between pity and reality.
"If I do, what will you do? What can you do?" Tempus responds, tired of this entire show. He groans when he felt strong claws around his neck.
"I'll save Guizhong! I'll stop the Archon war!"
"You'll only suffer and regret." Like him.
"I will not." The resolve in his voice is undeniable.
"If only you had been there with me then Guizhong-"
"Will die. If not by the war, then by her people."
"What?" Morax freezes, and Kai could hear the bitter realization hit him.
"If not by her people, then by fate. If not by fate, then by Celestia, by YOU! You of all people know even Gods die, Morax. It's a war." Kai is sick of it.
Tempus tried everything, but he is a powerless, useless god against his own pen in his home world.
Morax inhales, then exhales.
"Do it. Turn back time."
Tempus sighs, a distant memory of a determined, hard-working, and adorable adepti resurfaced in his mind.
He remembers laughing and writing Zhongli's character-
"One chance." Then the Lord of Geo lets go and bows.
"Thank you." Tempus puts a hand on Morax's bloodied shoulder and closes his eyes.
This conversation turns into one of the past.
The Archon war occurs, and Tempus watches Morax fail.
If he prevents one red flag, another arises.
Everything repeats, like a never-ending cycle of torture.
"Morax."
"Tempus." The God of Time stops behind his sitting figure in front of Guizhong and many of his colleagues' graves.
Tempus puts a glazed lily on each of the graves and offers his own condolences.
"Morax. It's over now. Return."
"And where would I return?" Tempus holds out his hand.
"Then, come with me."
Morax accepted and followed.
For some reason, Morax holds onto his hand like his lifeline, and Tempus allows him.
Just like that, the two Gods made their way to Temporium, a land where time moves differently than in the rest of the world.
Temporium is a wonderful nation.
Old as time, this country is the first nation Tempus raised from the ground. It is also the country that he chose to call "home".
The royal family is the one that manages the country and Tempus is merely a guide and protector, helping them navigate the dangers of the past and the future.
His protective shield around this land slows down or speeds up time within the shield, creating a safe haven that is immune to any outside influences.
Kai wants to make this country similar to his real home.
Before he was thrown into this madness.
Tempus leads Morax into a transparent dome known as a green house and stops.
"Morax. Time is limited. So cherish it."
Surrounded by flowers and greenery, there stood a woman with a gentle smile.
"Morax?"
Tempus watches them reunite and thinks that losing sleep is worth it.
Looking up into the skies, Tempus thinks that since he was able to change fate, just slightly, it means Tempus is stronger, but not enough.
Celestia is wavering.
But he's too late.
Too many died, and too many suffered due to his hand. He can't just turn back time, for he will also revert to the past "him".
Nevertheless, Tempus swore to change the plot, and maybe, just maybe, end this never-ending madness.
Seeing as to how Morax and Guizhong are fine, Tempus disappears and reappears under a cherry blossom tree.
There was another person he saved, a sister and leader to many. There, two sisters cried in each other’s arms like no tomorrow.
Tempus watches solemnly, and repeats the same disappearing and reappearing, many times.
Tempus shouldn't be at this tea party.
"Morax. Let's rebuild Liyue."
"Guizhong. They betrayed you." Morax clearly looks like he was withholding his rage.
"I know." Guizhong acknowledges, but isn't afraid.
"But even so, I understand their reasons. To protect their land from an unwanted war."
Her kindness knows no bounds. Truly, no one deserves her.
"Thus Morax, this time, we will rebuild Liyue with the adepti, and we will stand together. As always."
"Guizhong. I...cannot afford to lose you again." She smiles wistfully, and then looks at Tempus.
"I too am afraid of disappearing, and without Tempus, perhaps I would have perished. It was he who saved me and led me to his realm to heal. For that, thank you."
Morax too bows in gratitude.
"I apologize that I cannot save everyone."
"That would be too much to ask from you, Tempus. For you are not an omnipotent, omniscient or omnipresent God."
For the first time, Tempus feels slightly relieved at someone's words.
"I'm sure you did your best and already changed so many people’s lives."
Huh. A soft smile blooms on his face and the two seemed surprised.
Truly, no one deserves her.
Eventually they leave, and Tempus, sends them off peacefully, wishing them the best.
Then, Liyue is built once again.
This time, they build the foundation and protect the city together.
But again, even the gods cannot go against time.
When Guizhong dies, she dies as she scatters her wisdom all over Liyue, to her people, to her country and to her loved ones.
This time, she dies without regrets.
This time, she dies because Celestia told her it was time.
There was no forewarning, but it looked like she knew.
She spent the last of her time with Morax and Tempus before she fades and flutters away like dust.
Again, Morax receives a stone dumbbell, challenging him to unlock.
But this time, there was one thing that changed.
"Morax, I hope you can befriend Tempus. He's the oldest of all gods, the one who has drifted the longest among all. Yet, he is perhaps the one that is the loneliest and wisest, or perhaps that is why he acts the way he acts." She says after she gives him her dumbbell.
"If I have one regret, it would be that I have never gained his trust."
"Guizhong, that's impossible-"
"Morax, he has never shown us more than courtesy and kindness. Maybe I am greedy, but I want to become a friend to all." She smiles.
"That is why, I hope you can be his friend in place of I."
"Of course. By your gift, I pledge to fulfill your will." Morax holds her hand as she disintegrates.
"Thank you Morax. I hope only happiness and prosperity follow you."
Like dust, they slip through his fingers and disappear.
Like all of his comrades, friends, and loved ones.
And Tempus could only watch from the distance like a powerless God he is.
"The loneliest and wisest huh..."
He could only laugh bitterly.
"Tempus."
"Morax." The god replies with a low hum, "What brings you here?"
"I want to give you my gratitude."
"No need." Tempus does not turn to greet him, but simply continues to write. Morax watches him write with a mysterious utensil, a pen.
Tempus truly is worthy of being called a genius amongst geniuses.
A god who built a country, and protected his realm despite the Archon War, and survived. No wonder he is heavily respected and worshiped by his people.
"Teach me."
The god stops.
"What are you talking about?"
"Teach me how to build Liyue."
"It's already built."
"How to govern as a God." Without Guizhong and his friends, Morax is incapable of running a country. His hands were made to fight and seal monsters, not to care for people.
"You do not need to govern a country. Barbatos-"
"He's a fool." Morax heard a muffled laugh.
"But his country is still functioning quite well isn't it?" Tempus turns around, his azure eyes meets his golden ones.
"Tempus."
"What will I get in return? God of Contracts?" Tempus smiles before he stands.
"What do you need?"
"Trade." Morax blinks.
"Free trade amongst civilians. No taxes or barriers." Morax doesn't quite understand his terms, but he's willing to learn.
"I accept."
"You don't even know what I said didn't you?" Tempus crosses his arms and shook his head.
"I believe you are a fair person and one who will teach me what I need to know.”
“Just like old times isn’t it?”
This was Morax's first contract, and certainly won't be the last.
Time passes quickly, and soon, Morax and Barbatos become the two of the original seven left.
Despite this, Tempus does his job as both a Creator and babysitter job well.
He ensures Gods fulfill their duty and if they need help, they can seek him out. If Tempus ever saw something worth his time (which is like...every time), he too would interfere, gaining the Archons' favour.
He realized the power of the butterfly effect. From saving Gods such as Guizhong and Makoto, even with what little power he had during the Archon War to extend their life, it played an immense part in changing the Archons themselves.
Again, too much work, and too little time.
Even if he slows down time, he could never get enough sleep.
It's also blatantly obviously the Archons are treating him too well, but he originally thought it made sense with all the effort he put in to change the plot.
But their affectionate gestures increased after they found of he was the Creator.
Tempus really shouldn't have told Morax this a while back and allowed him to tell the other Archons. Luckily, he prevented them from telling anyone else under the pretense that it was his order.
Even so, Kai finally feels a little more at ease. He could finally get some sleep.
Could he really complain about the children (Archons) when they gave him the most premium material to sleep on?
Or hear a private concert from a certain bard?
Or try out the best food in the jungles?
Or let him sleep under the giant cherry blossoms whenever he wants?
Or take him out to a hot springs in Liyue?
"Kai. How are you feeling?" Zhongli asks from behind him, who is washing his long, long hair.
"Good...Thanks...Zhongli."
Kai can finally relax a bit and it’s well deserved. Taking care of kids is hard. Much less 7 at once.
At least they’re paying him back with interest.
Zhongli couldn't help but smile proudly when the sleepless God fell asleep in his domain.
He'd be sure to brag about this at their next Archon meeting.
Not knowing it would be their last.

to breathe you in
your boyfriend has such a pretty face, is letting you admire it too much to ask for?
- pairing: chongyun, xiao, ayato x gn!reader (seperate)
- warnings: audible ‘aweees’ came out of my mouth while amking this, i think that says enough, lowercase intended
note: I GOT XIAO TODAY ON 16 PITY!!!!!!!!!!! hu tao ur next.
Tumblr media
- chongyun
looking at chongyun was like breathing in the fresh scent of sea breeze; salty albeit bringing you solace. to you, he was the embodiment of alluring; reeling you in through his warm rays of light- his dorky charm.
while you were moving through every possible synonym of beautiful to exist, chongyun eyes you from his position at the counter, as he poured the blue-tinted liquid into the silicone mold- a tingling rush surged throughout his body; alerting his nerves to the strange feeling. knowing all too well that the sensation was just his body warning him that he was getting nervous, he abruptly stops the pouring- spilling the liquid on the counter.
“what's with your staring?” he asks, failing to hide nor acknowledge the rose tint painting his cheeks.
“what? can’t i admire my significant other without question?” perhaps it was the teasing whines emitting from your lips, or the confession that you were admiring him that made his body tense and subconsciously fix his posture.
“admire..? what exactly is there to admire?”
“you! you are the epitome of beauty chongyun, how could you ask such a stupid question?!”
stupid? was his question really all that stupid? last time he checked- he never seemed all that special…
“beauty..?” his brows only furrowed more when he watched your eyes light up.
“y-you’re like the sunshine on the first day of spring; you wake the flowers up from their deep slumber, making them the best versions of themselves! you are the clouds that surround celestia, the closest to heaven that I’ll ever get to! you’re- you’re… perfection!”
before he knew it you were showering him with compliments unknowingly; rambling to get your point across, and he couldn’t help but smile lovingly at the sight of you putting your heart out on display just for him to see.
(more under cut!)
- xiao
- xiao
“quit your staring…”, xiao slightly stiffens at his tone; he really didn’t mean to say it so harshly.
“what’s a few seconds of staring”, you tease, drawing out the ‘g’ of your last word.
“you mortals are truly odd…” he shifts to stand up from the roof and teleports back down to the highest balcony of the inn, coming face to face with you.
he couldn’t help but blush at the sight of your eyes breathing in his; the way you searched for the sparkle that everyone ever denies was there. you saw beauty, tenderness and the raw emotion that everyone says he lacks. you drew him in as easily as a parent holding their arms out to their child; an offering of a hug, a feeling of warmth.
“c’mon xiao you’re asking the impossible if you expect me not to stare-”
“i-i never said you could never do it…”
xiao hates it, he hates how his heartbeat picks up after watching the tender smile that graces your angelic face.
“do you mind if i indulge you in your beauty?” you ask innocently, your eyes boring a shine he only wishes he could see for the rest of his years.
“tch.” although his words contradict his thoughts, he knows you know him all too well. this was confirmed when you continued your explanation.
since his time, xiao was never described to be a healer; even if he tried, chaos ensued wherever he went. the world was presented to him as a duty, and he had to attend to it, but then he found you. you were his opposite; a poet. you graced the world with your words- and your eyes that saw the beauty of all. most of all, you heal.
- ayato
it’s quite hard not to stare at ayato as he trains to wield his sword; he was far too beautiful to ignore, both inside and out. It’s hard to not give him any attention at all really.
you bask in his presence as if he's the sun, you sigh contently when around him like he's the feeling of a warm drink in your throat after a day in the cold and you take a piece of him with you every day like he's the sun who shines his reflection on the moon; giving a part of itself to show you off.
“darling, your staring”, it was an impressive sight, to say the least; how he was able to be so aware of his surroundings while focusing on the faux blade of his opponent in front of him.
“oh, y’know, just making fun of your form in my mind”, you retort, watching as he refuses to look your way but still gives you a smirk of acknowledgment.
“your lovestruck smile says otherwise”, and suddenly your hand flies up to your mouth, covering your lips that were in fact smiling.
“okay, I confess…” you assure sheepishly, trying to calm down the heat rising to your cheeks.
your embarrassing moment was then interrupted by ayato falling on his butt, groaning. you couldn’t help the snickers that came out of your mouth as you got up to help.
“ah, see if you hadn’t been staring I wouldn’t have fallen…”
“mhm, so it’s my fault? Apologies, my lord”, you tease, holding out a hand for him to take.
“precisely, you were so cute when you were staring that I couldn’t help but think of you”, he replies, taking your hand.
but instead of pulling himself up, he pulls you down, and now you were leaning dangerously close to his lips.

hey you!!!
wanna hear one of my fic ideas for a canon rewrite that will absolutely shatter your heart????
yeah...
you've been warned..
.
TW!!!
dr//g ab*se, attempted su!c!de
alhaitham attempted to overdose after the argument with kaveh over their thesis.
.
they basically screamed each others throats off that day; they've argued over their differing ideals before but it was never this bad, and the fight eventually got a bit physical, and there was a lot of hairpulling, scratching, pulling each other up by the collar, because they weren't just arguing about the thesis anymore, they were mad at each other. until alhaitham pointed out kaveh's fatal flaw, how his altruism is going to fail him one day, and kaveh, who can't handle the truth, yanks at alhaithams hair again, telling him to fuck off, that he wishes he never met him, all through pained, angry tears. and then, he lets go and leaves, bolting out the front door and not even bothering to close it.
it was one of the first times in alhaitham's life that he had ever let his emotions get the better of him, and he watched kaveh run out of the door, panting and shaking, tears prickling the corners of his eyes out of pure, unadulterated frustration. and alhaitham realizes at this moment that he'd lost someone. again.
oh yes, alhaitham's all alone again!! no one cares about him anymore!! he'd just lost the last person in the world who gave a damn!! silly alhaitham!! all because you're you. because you had to open your mouth again. because you had to say something. all you wanted was to help, but nobody understands that. nobody ever will. to them, you're just a cold, calculated, arrogant, cocky, bastard. and look what you've done now.
the thought breaks him, and he crumbles to the ground in what can only be described as a meltdown, a very violent one. vases are shattered, kitchen wear chucked across the room, books thrown around carelessly, all while he screams curses into the air, directed at no one, maybe at Kusanali, maybe at Celestia, who knows, but he screams anyway, bordering on babbles as he stumbles to his room, dizzy and distressed and grabs the bottle of prescription drugs (working on what kind of drug currently). It's not full, it's almost empty actually, only about 10 tablets at the bottom, but alhaitham, hands shaking, laughs incredulously at himself, and eats all of them.
or at least: tries to...
the commotion he'd made upset his neighbours. initially, they were storming over to his house with the Matra beside them to have him taken care of but upon arrival, they were horrified. The matra with them practically tackled alhaitham, making him spit out the 3 pills he had in his mouth when they found him in his room; he had already taken 5. they dragged him to the bimarstan as fast as he could, the neighbours following in terror and worry.
alhaitham was saved that day and the memory still haunts him. he was so clouded with emotion he'd lost all sense of what he was doing and just felt, and it scared him how his own feelings took control of him. At that point, alhaitham only closed up even further, basically forcing on his poker face and shoving down his feelings because he never wanted to feel so vulnerable again. he doesn't want to feel. it hurts to feel. strong feelings only bring pain. more pain than alhaitham could bear.
so alhaitham chose to hide this story, he never told anyone about it, not even a single detail. but kaveh, who moved back in eventually and now lived with alhaitham for about a year since their argument, was tidying up when he found a bottle of pills under alhaitham's bed, it was practically empty, only 2 pills remained.
concerned, he questions alhaitham about it later and it was the first time he'd seen alhaitham genuinely look scared. when kaveh explained he'd found it under his bed, alhaitham snatched away the bottle and disposed of it in the trash, cursing himself for not having found it last year when the incident happened and couldn't believe it had been there the whole time.
kaveh isn't an idiot, he pieced it together the moment he saw alhaitham's reaction. he just stands there, completely speechless and horrified. all he can say is "when..?"
and alhaitham, for the first time since their school years, responds in a shaky, miserable voice, "a year ago."
and kaveh is stunned, just staring at alhaitham, who seemed so unreachable when he moved in, suddenly looking so heartbreakingly vulnerable.
he doesn't say anything.
kaveh just hugs him, buries alhaitham's face into his shoulder and hugs him. and he swears he can hear soft, weak sounds coming from the scribe, and he swears the fabric over his shoulders became damp, but he doesn't say anything.
he just holds him.
i'm sorry. come at my throat all you'd like.

kaeya alberich ★↷
after the fall of his homeland, khaenri'ah, he found refige in the ragnvindr household. but outside of that he had nothing else left. until you found him.
him and diluc were out with crepus doing whatever, he wasn't paying attention, and he spotted a small child seemingly getting told off by an adult. now kaeya, not knowing what minding his own business was, slipped away and got closer trying to hear what was being said. 'you know you cant be out if your condition!' 'i know but why cant i go out and have fun once in a while, it gets to boring being couped up at home' he watched as the child stuck out their toungue at the adult before they seemed to make a run for it while the adult was in shock and yet again he followed. now he was more invested in helping the child get away.
you took refuge in an alleyway not too far away, you could only run so far before getting into a coughing fit. putting a hand on your chest and sliding down the wall to hide behind a trash can, you noticed a shadow heading your way. but it seemed to be too small to be your caretaker so you ignored it. until a mop of blue hair stuck his head round the trash can you were sat behind. 'and who are you?' you stated slowly trying to stand up again. 'well who are you?' 'i asked first so you tell me who you are i tell you who i am' .... 'fine im kaeya' kaeya? you've never heard that name before 'and you are? cmon you said you'd tell!' 'hmph im [ ]'. kaeya then proceeded to ask what happened back there, feeling hesitant to answer and say the truth you simply explained how your stupid annoying caretaker/s wouldn't let you do anything. kaeya would've asked why but the shout of his name from crepus dragged his head up, looking like a deer in headlights, to face a angry but relieved crepus. and that's the day that gave him another thing to refuge in. you.
you two got on like a house on fire much to many people's dismay. eventually when the two of you got closer you told kaeya about your 'illness', of course it wasn't the whole truth just what you're caretaker/s told you(you were children afterall), and that made kaeya even more determined to help you escape from them. which often lead to kaeya helping you escape from bedrest just to end up with your caretaker/s dropping him off back at dawn winery and you back home. eventually kaeya started feeling a weird fluttering sensation in his stomach but he didn't understand what it meant so he jist ignored it. now he wishes he didn't.
as the two of you got older he started noticing your decline in health but every time he asked you, you just brushed it off and said you're fine. you both knew better. but getting older meant getting wiser. and unfortunately kaeya knew that one day something would happen to you. he still didn't understand what he felt when he was with you but he wanted you to atleast stay until he figured it out. but it seemed the archons and celestia themselves wanted to be nothing but cruel.
a festival was coming up soon and you both were feeling really excited about going. and this time he felt like instead of sneaking you out he would ask your caretaker/s directly. he knew they trusted him to look after you and bring you back safely. so he knocked on the door and was met with a caretaker whos seemed surprised at him standing on the doorstep. he aksed if he could go see you. 'im sorry dear but they passed just last night'. an icy cold reality smashed him in the face. he knew you wouldn't stay long. he knew about it all. but it still didnt dampen the sting. he left shortly after. he wasn't ready to grow up knowing you wouldn't be there one day. but it had happened and his fears only got worse.
now sitting at your polished grave he stared up at the sky 'i never understood my feelings then but i do now.. now its too late'.

she didn't exactly have an easy childhood. growing up in rags and barely scraping by. but she did have one thing, one thing that she cherised deeply. you two had met by pure chance. she had set up a small stall type business to sell trinkets and items she had made by hand and fatefully you were out on one of your few walks with your caretaker when you spotted the stall and the slightly cute stall manager. you begged to go over there and you had also begged to purchase a few of the items she had on sale as you found them absolutely adorable. ningguang thought not much of it aprat from knowing that you had probably given her quite a bit of mora to get by for probably a week if she rationed it more.
however not too long after that encounter. ningguang saw your face again headding towards her stall but this time no caretaker in sight. you introduced yourself and she simply asked if what you were doing when you gave her a small smile and went 'you looked lonely, i thought you could use some company'. she was confused, mainly, because why would she need company? she was perfectly fine on her own. but you simply insisted and with soem hesitance she let you stay but not before telling you if you impacted her sales you would have to go.
eventually you had became a normality in her life as ahe started actually making her way up in terms of mora, slowly but surely. and eventually you two were close enough to open up to her about your illness. this made her feel slightly bad about the way she treated you earlier on when you weren't her 'friend'(you insisted you were). but now she felt a motivation to not only improve her life, but yours aswell. she understood more that what you told her and she knew you probably wouldn't have that long and for some reason thinking like that made her feel uneasy about getting older.
getting older meant that at some point in her life you would not be here. she knew how she felt about you but she didn't think it was the time or place to bring something like that up. it was a losing battle. but time doesn't wait for anyone. now you were getting older and one day completely out of the blue you stopped visiting her. and she was no fool she knew what it meant. so she took some mora, she didn't care that she needed to save it for you she would spend as much as she felt she should (even if she didnt have that much), and left for your residence. she left her heartfelt regards and some flowers for your caretaker/s and left. ingnoring the pain that struck through her heart.
now she was probably the richhest person in tevyat. she had made her way up in the world. but there wasn't a single day that went pass that she didn't think if you and how she failed to make your life comfortable.
baizhu ★↷
much of baizhu's childhood was spent buried in books and medical scripts. he had a lot to figure out. how to end the contract with changsheng, and many other ways to advice in the medical field. his master often just let him be afterall. he had already suffered the loss of his hometown, and his parents and his master was more than happy he chose to help advance in the physicians field. but one day he met a child that peaked his interest.
he had seen you in passing glances after visiting his master always accompanied by a caretaker and you always seem weak and fatigued. for some reason it reminded him of himself as for his interanl organs were diseased, leaving him with the rare and seemingly incurable disease. so he brought upon himslef to introduce himself to your caretaker/s, perhaps because you two shared a similarity, albeit morbid, but perphaps you would like to seek comfort in someone who understood what you were going through. although it seemed your condition was much worse than he expected.
compared to his condition, yours was worse but it seemed like you had appreciated the company upon your bedrest periods as well as the fact that your caretaker/s let you go out more often if baizhu accompanied you! and not just visits to his master, it was quite a change in pace and you couldn't thank him enough. and eventually seing baizhu became a routine. and baizhu actually found himself genuinely enjoying spending time with you.
but at the end of every day he was painfully reminded that you were probably not going to grow up with him like he ever so secretly wanted. changsheng seemed to want to remind him, quite often, that you would not last as long as him as changsheng seemed to understand his emotions more than him.
but the dreaded day came sooner than he thought. not long after his master had passed it had seemed you weren't too long after. now he had to grow older without you. and he knew that what he could do to keep your memory alive is swear to help evey patient he can. but he still wishes you could've grown up with him and maybe he could've built up the courage to confess.
thoma ★↷
he did not have much aspiration for what he wanted to do later in life when he was young. and that was okay not many people do. but he normally spent his mornings atleast strolling through the streets if mondstadt doing whatever he fancied, which normally wasn't much. but one day you had spiced up his life.
you had ran into thoma when you were trying to hide from your caretaker and you asked him to hide you no questions asked. thoma feeling confused simply offered to help you hide. he looked at the direction you came from seeing an adult looking for you, looking quite concerned he may add. but when the adult disappeared you said a quick thank you before running off into the crowd.
you later ran into the same child in a similar situation. but this time to you it seemed like fate, he helped you hide yet again and you decided maybe just maybe you could befriend him and it would be so much easier to go out. so you offered and thoma felt compelled to become your friend aswell and that started what thoma wished was a lifelong friendship.
later on in your spurred friendship, when he was showing you around his favourite places of mondstadt, he had to ask why you weren't allowed out. and you simply stated about your illness and thoma couldn't help but feel bad about bringing you out now. surely to feel better you should stay inside? but you assured him yiu were fine and that was that.
later on, he introduced himself to your caretaker/s and felt compelled to help you and look after you the way a friend would. maybe eventually more than a friend. but over the years your condition worsend and eventually it gave him the realisation that you would die before you two could grow up fully together. and he didn't want that but he couldn't help that. so maybe he could help you live what little time you had to the fullest.
but eventually time would claim your life before thoma was ready to lose you. but it happened and it hurt more than he thought it would.
but now years later, working as a housekeeper. he still remembers you. and he vows to help the kamisato clan in the ways he couldn't help you.
alhaitham ★↷
being 'self-taught' meant he spent his childhood mainly learning from home however his grandmother inisted that he still spent sometime outside, the fresh air would do some good. however he saw no such need but it was know that having fresh air did good for ones health so he didn't complain, that much. however one think he could of never expected was to find a child, seemingly someone close to his age, hiding just behind his grandmother's house.
he had a half a mind to go up to you and tell you to go, but as he approached you noticed him a bit quicker than he could speak to you and you grabbed him to pull him down next to you and slammed a hand over his mouth telling his to shush. he was shocked to say the least. but felt compelled to not say anything yet as he saw an adult walk past to the side of where the two of you were. but he did yank your hand of his mouth.
when you were sure your caretaker was gone you stood up and started going the opposite direction before the child you had told to shush grabbed your wrist 'aren't you going to apologize' you look at him simply stated sorry and proceeded to walk off. alhaitham was left confused and slightly annoyed but brushed it off with little concern. he was never going to see you again so why bother with something that small. well he was wrong.
you had decided during your next escape that the small alley behind that child's house was a good place to hide until the coast was clear. but this time alhaitham had spotted you again but for some reason that escaped him he felt like just letting you be, but when you looked at him when you noticed your caretaker actually going down the alley and hoped he would let ysou inside. and to his surprise he did.
and thats how the young scholar found himself finding an unlikely friendship with you. he was curious about your frequent escapes but you told him about the illness. in all the books he had read he had never heard of it. but eventually you two stopped meeting outside of you running away and formally introduced himself to your caretaker/s as he found it too informal just meeting on your escape attempts.
eventually you found a way into the young scholars heart. even though he tried not to let it happen as deep down he knew you wouldn't last, he knew one day the excitement you brought his life would fade and you wouldn't grow up with him. and sooner than he wanted you had passed. and for the first time he didn't want to grow up. he wished he had longer with you.

Behind Closed Curtains | Freminét
Freminét x Hydro Archon GN!reader
Warnings: None
A/N: Happy New Year's Eve! I got inspired to write this a few weeks ago when I read @freminet-writings's hcs about Freminét dating male Hydro Archon!reader but lost motivation and picked this back up so I apologize if this fic seems kinda all over the place or a little awkward! 😓
Also here's the link to that hc. I really liked it and if you like Freminet, I definitely think you should check out @freminet-writings's blog! She makes some really nice fluffy hcs/drabbles in my opinion! :D
Tumblr media
Crystal rain pours from the sky, dripping it's gems upon anything it could touch and drenching it. It's steady flow produces a serene melody, one that never gets old no matter how many times it's replayed.
As nice as this may be to some, the diver wishes it would stop. If the fairytales hold any weight to them it means somewhere out there, amidst this clear, crystal rain, the hydro dragon weeps, most likely submerged in or surrounded by water, alone and upset. It makes him tempted to chant, to plead with the dragon not to cry and to allow the rain to pass. However, deeming his situation, that wouldn't be appropriate..
"Ah! My most devoted follower! Do tell me, what brings you here at such an hour? I know you yearned to feel the greatness and power that my presence exudes, but you do know that even the most divine must rest, yes?"
Piercing mismatched ocean gaze dressed in gaudy, expensive fabrics and topped off with a matching hat, Y/n de Fontaine sits before Freminét. Their aura of godliness surrounding them like a king's cloak along with a crown of intimidation to go with it that makes them untouchable and unapproachable to some people in the water nation.
However, despite their loud words and even louder demeanor, they sit back and wait. Silently and patiently waiting for him to speak his mind about whatever reason he has to visit them so late at night, hoping and praying that it's something small and not some unexpected disaster.
After all, playing this role has posed to be a problem when it comes to comforting others. Having to constantly talk about being above everyone else.. Most people would take your genuine attempts as you pitying them..
"..I'm sorry for bothering you. I know you're probably tired.." He begins, snapping you away from your thoughts immediately, "I just wanted to check on you."
"Hm?"
"I.. I wanted to make sure you were alright," He clarifies. His voice, although a bit shaky, a little louder and more clear to hear than before.
"Lyney mentioned that you seemed upset about something earlier. I was planning on visiting then, but I didn't want him getting suspicious.. Uhm, a- anyways, are you alright? If there's something bothering you, Y/n, you can tell me. I..don't have the strength or power to promise you that I'll do something about whatever upsets you but I can, at the very least, listen to you talk about what's troubling you.."
Now that's not what you were expecting. Or rather, something you didn't want to expect. It was a small, quick slip from character, that's all. Everyone else in the Opera House brushed it off, why couldn't that magician do the same? Now your boyfriend sits here, concerned and asking questions you can't answer truthfully.
"Hehehehe~! Well aren't you the most adorable little devotee! For you to think that something could bother me, the Hydro Archon and ruler of Fontaine, is both cute and foolishly naïve of you!" You boast before another fit of giggles take over, "Worry not, for I am just fine! Nothing in this world could possibly bother me! Not a human nor a god from another nation.. Hah! Not even Celestia!"
"I understand your concern for me. After all, I'm constantly juggling tasks no ordinary human like yourself could ever imagine dealing with. It must be challenging for me, right? Well you're dead wrong! I am the embodiment of the all powerful! Nothing is hard for me! Hahaha~!"
"..Is that really true?" Freminét asks.
"You dare doubt me?" Y/n retorts, crossing their arms and holding them against their chest.
"No," He answers immediately only to pause, eventually following up with a small, "Well, maybe a little.. But if you're really fine, I'll believe you. Have a good night, Y/n."
And with that he gets up, but to his surprise, the archon before him, the same one who just told him that literally nothing in this world could trouble them, seemed rather distressed. Even going as far as to stand up from their comfortable seat to call out to him.
"Wait, where are you going?" You force out quickly. Freminét halts and looks back. A look of genuine confusion etched on his freckled face.
"I'm going back to the House of the Hearth. I had to sneak out in order to avoid anyone catching me.. I should head back before they find out I'm not in bed. I wouldn't want them to get worried and waste their time looking for me.."
"No!" You shriek. Freminét jumps. You notice and quickly clear your throat, "I- I mean, no..~" You drawl, "You can't, I uh.. I haven't.. Our time here isn't up yet! Yeah.. You can't leave because you haven't spent your full time here yet!"
"What do you mean?"
"W- Well you came here to talk to me and might I remind you that I am a god! When you converse with me, it's tradition to stay for at least a full hour before leaving so that I may properly bless you with good faith and fortune and all of that.."
A stretch, but not entirely false. For centuries, religious families from all over the nation have scheduled meetings just to worship you and hear your words of good faith for them and their families, most of which staying for hours on end until they're forced to leave by the Gardes so technically you aren't lying to him. Twisting the truth, maybe. But definitely not lying!
An expression of skepticism crosses the driver's face for a long moment as he mulls over your words in silence. A couple seconds pass, each one making you more and more nervous. After all, there's no official rule or anything that states that he has to stay here so if he really wanted to, he could leave and you'd let him.
Despite what you may say, you can't exactly force him. Anyone else? Sure, you'd have no problem making them do as you please. But Freminét? No, no, no. You see, he's what one would call special. He has leverage over you. Leverage that no one else has. And that leverage is being your beloved partner in secret. If he were to tell or make any indication that he's uncomfortable or upset, you'd do just about anything you could to make him feel better which of course includes letting him leave this Opera House if that's what he'd truly want.
"..Hm, I guess I have no choice but to stay here until time is up.. I've been here for some time so I probably don't have much time left here anyway."
"On the contrary! It's been not but a few minutes since you've sat down so you have a lot more time here than you think." You say.
"But I've been here for almost a half an hour.."
"Archons see time differently than humans, my dear," You explain, "While as time may seem faster to you, it's much different for me. So by my calculations, you still have at least fifty minutes left with me before you can go. Leaving any sooner will count as great disrespect!"
Did that come off too strong? Were you too loud? Ooh.. You hope Freminet didn't feel too pressured by what you said. You just want—no, you need him to stay a little longer. You need to relish in the comfort that his presence brings you just a little longer.
..You want to be selfish just a little longer..please..
Freminet's lips part to speak only to immediately shut. Avoiding eye contact, he walks back over to the couch across from yours and sits down, his eyes remaining glued to the floor. Holding back a sigh, you plop back down on the cushion, staring down at your gloved hands which are clasped together in your lap.
Now you've done it. You should've just stayed quiet and let him leave! Now he's uncomfortable and you two are sitting in this awkward silence that's absolutely killing you!
How can you fix this? Should you resort to flattery? Agh, no. Freminet wouldn't like that. Should you just carry on conversation? What would you talk about.. The sea, maybe?
"Tell me, how has your little companion been faring? I noticed that you didn't bring him with you," You inquire, not ready to look up and see his face just yet and deciding to keep your gaze fixed on your hands.
Freminét looks up, a little surprised. You were interested in Pers? And here he thought you were silently judging him for carrying him around all of the time..
"He's doing fine. I left him back at the House of the Hearth to keep Thelxie company. Although..I was reluctant in doing so.."
"Thelxie? Are you referring to the Water Imp in that children's fairytale? How and why would Pers be keeping him company?"
"It's a little complicated.. I've accepted a commission to make a toy and per my commissioner's request, I've named the toy Thelxie," He explains.
"Hm, I'll admit that you've peaked my interest," You gain the courage to look back up at Freminét. Deciding not to comment on the way he immediately looks away from you upon locking eyes with you, "You've mentioned before that you don't take commissions and prefer to work at your own pace without feeling pressured. What about this commission is so different from the rest? Well, besides the fact that you're basing the toy off a children-eating water imp from a children's tale."
It takes a moment for Freminét to respond and when he finally does, he speaks in a lower tone, "I.. hm.."
"What is it?" You ask, "I know me being interested in things other than an excellent performance is hard to come by and I've been told of the pressure one feels with faced against my expectations, but you should at least try to answer my questions."
"I'm sorry," Freminét mumbles quickly, beginning to fiddle with the skin of his fingers, "But.. For the sake of her privacy, I can't really go into any further detail about this.."
And the silence returns and oh, how you've come to absolutely despise it since your relationship with the diver began. You want to say something. You even fix your lips, waiting for the words to come to you, but they don't. Leaving you looking rather dumbstruck as a result.
What is wrong with you? He's just a person. Someone without any kind of intimidating aura or power to him so why are you hesitating? Since you can't talk about the commission, change the subject. Simple and easy, right?
Don't be so scared. It's just Freminét. Yes, no reason to be nervous. It's just Freminét. It's just Freminét—
"Can you..hold me?" Wait, what are you saying? That wasn't apart of the script! What are you doing? "Please.. It doesn't have to be for too long and you may leave immediately afterwards if you'd like..I just.. I really would like it if..uhm.."
Face warmed, avoiding eye contact, the light sweating.. What? Have you really reduced yourself to some shy background character who's only purpose in the film is to stammer out stupid sentences occasionally? That's no fit for someone who's been acting for as long as you have. You need to fix this. You need to save this performance!
But what do you say? Nothing's coming to mind. All you have to say is a few simple words with your usual confident tone and then divert the conversation to something else until you can recover completely. That's it. That all you have to do so why are freezing up? Don't tell me you suddenly have stage fright or something. That would be unacceptable.
You've been silent for too long. Any longer and you won't be able to salvage this no matter what you say! So, speak. Say something! Anything—!
Cool hands finally snap you from your thoughts. One snakes around your waist and the other rest on the side of your head. You fall to the side and your stiff body collides with smooth clothing before you can react.
"Is this.. Are you..okay with this position?" His voice comes out as a small whisper, just a bit quieter than normal, "My mother.. She could always tell when I was upset. She would hold me just like this and sing in my ears until I felt better.. I- I'm not a good singer like she was, but I can tell you about some of the clockworks I've been working on lately. I'd probably bore you though.."
This definitely wasn't apart of the script. What should you do? Pull away? Chastise him for touching you so freely? You really don't want to do that. His cool embrace, the smell of the ocean on his clothing that for some reason makes you feel the opposite of the uneasy feeling you'd usually get from smelling seawater.. This feels so nice..safe almost.. Can't you just add this in or something? Surely it wouldn't be too out of character for you to indulge in this, right? Right?
At the dejecting sound of your silence, Freminét's already loose grip loosens even more to the point you barely feel his hands on you, "I'm sorry.. I've never done this so I.." He trails off as he watches you pull his arm so that it wraps around you again. The previous statement he was planning to finish having long been forgotten as he seems more focused on you and how embarrassingly warm his face has gotten than whatever he was planning to say.
You arms hesitantly cage his waist, keeping his body flush against you as you begin mumbling something incoherent under your breath. You bury your face—which is beginning to become unbearably warm itself—into his shoulder and with your mouth closer to his ear, he was finally able to hear you..
"Even archons need to be pampered occasionally, divinity or not. You should be honored to share such close proximity with me and bask in the elegance that is me so, uhm..please stay for as long as you're able.."
With a brief wave of confidence that washes over him, Freminét brings his other hand back up to your head, this time slowly running his fingers through your hair, "Oh..alright," He mumbles against your hair after a while.
Another silence comes creeping in yet it no longer carries that thick, unpleasant air of awkwardness with it. Instead, it's light, almost soothing, just like his touch. It was as if the lights behind the closed curtains had dimmed a little and although it didn't stop your performance, it made it a little more bearable.
He makes things just a little more bearable for you, even though he isn't aware of it.

I really wished we got a backstory for Celestia and Luna before they were found by ponykind. Like, where did they come from, where are their parents, where do Alicorns come from in general, etc.
Other characters that needed a backstory but never got it: Spike, Zecora, Discord. Probably some others I'm forgetting.
I agree! Maybe they would've done it… if they didn't decide to create and focus on the School of Friendship and the Student Six…
What? You can't blame me for hating it so much. There were so many better things they could've written. So many things they should've written... but they chose that.
They actually did give Zecora a backstory, but it was in the season 10 comics:
Tumblr media
They wanted to do it in the actual show, but Ha$bro wouldn't let them… for some odd reason.
Tumblr media
You know what? Actually… Who's to say Ha$bro wouldn't allow them to write those backstory for Celestia and Luna, or Spike, or Discord, etc too?
Tumblr media
I have a theory that Alicorns created the three pony races by magically splitting themselves up. Alicorns are made up of all three main pony types.
Tumblr media
Grogar is the one who created the various monsters seen throughout the show by magically fusing animals together. When those monsters had their magic taken away, they split apart and turned back into normal animals.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think a similar thing happened with the Alicorns. Maybe all of the Alicorns (except the Royal Sisters), or just a good amount of them.
Maybe Grogar created the draconequus (including Discord) in the same way, to continue to cause chaos to Equestria after he was gone. I don’t know. *shrug*
There's a popular theory that Scorpan (Tirek's brother) was the one to find Spike's egg and give it to Star Swirl the Bearded, or the Alicorn sisters. It's based on Generation 1, where Scorpan had found and took care of Spike until he let him live with the ponies. In G4 Scorpan was friends with Star Swirl and the Royal Sisters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It still wouldn't explain what happened to Spike's parents or how his egg got separated from them, but… it's something at least.
Maybe his father is Burnferno, the protagonist of a book he's shown reading in A Flurry of Emotions and Father Knows Beast. It's a reoccurring thing in this show that people who are considered fictional within the show's world turn out to be real (Nightmare Moon, Daring Do, Grogar and Gusty the Great, the Pony of Shadows, etc). Again, it doesn't explain everything, but at least its more than what the canon itself offered... which, just to be clear, is nadda, nothing.
Tumblr media
If Ha$bro really is the reason for these questions never getting a proper answer then… I'm really not surprised. Screw them.

I ADORE YOUR NEUVILLETTE WORKS. I’m FROTHING at the mouth at the recent 4.0 trailer,,, they gave him a cane? Screaming. I have it so bad for the man. And apparently he doesn’t have a vision? The amount of brainrot that gives me… imagine if his darling has vision. Would he force them to hand it over? OR what if they receive a vision due to his treatment? So many thoughts,, orchid, save me.
THANK YOU SO MUCH !! LISTEN LISTEN AA !! I know people have already concluded nobody is allowed to have a vision in court but my mind is very,,,what if he is a dragon or something similar so he does not actually need a vision to use the elements? And i had to watch the trailer so many times before i saw the cane cus i was busy looking at his face that big titanium helmet he has on he is sooooi pretty TO ME.
I didn't think about neuvillette with visions but it would be fun.
If his darling got a vision because of his treatment I think he would find it ironic at best. It isn’t like he would forbid you from keeping it (yeah you would have to hand it in at the court or for some punishments) but neuvillette doesn't see it as a threat at all. It would be highly amusing if you developed a vision JUST for dealing with him or one that complimented his own. But he also doesn't really give you too much space to form your own powers and get better if it means endangering the disbalance between you two. He basically would find it fun to see how far you can go before he gets involved; something like a challenge.
I don't think he is human and it would be fun if he had something to do with celestia or the dragons/vishaps. So, if that theory is true - he wouldn't give your vision any thought. He has the power to use the elements at his fingertips and you need a catalyst. He has probably seen people more gifted and alarming - he can still subdue you if he wishes to. Having you keep your vision while he still always wins surely ruins any hope right? And if he ruins all your hope even after you get a blessing, that is bound to mess with your mind right? I feel like he would be into such twisted games.
His darling has to be more powerful and knowledgeable and wise compared to others but compared to him? Being below and not challenging his authority is the safest way to live.

So I'm bored so I think I'm going to share my Au of what if a question goes was in the Percy Jackson Universe
Okay few things I think all of the main seven are demigods because I think that would be fun and also Sunset the Sunset we follow in the movies and shorts is the human Sunset because that's my personal theory that you could check out here though principal Celestia is definitely her mother in this one for obvious reasons
I think I'm going to go in order of my favorites in terms of each girls Godly parent
Pinkie Pie- daughter of Dionysus, Dionysus is the god of many things one of which is fertility and Pinkie Pie has a twin sister marble, he is also the god of wine and I could see Pinky's parents being wine connoisseurs, also reproduction gets wacky win the gods are involved Pinky has three biological parents her parents that we see in the show and Dionysus, he is also the god of Celebration and Madness and that just fits Pinkie Pie perfectly, I haven't decided what Marvel got from being the daughter of Dionysus if you have suggestions let me know. I think she was coming to camp when she was 12 she started dating photoshi a year later than that they will both claim that this time so they know for a fact that they're not dating siblings, also you know for a fact that she had the lamest claiming ever Diagnosis was just like hey you my kid now go to my cabin, i don't know if she knew she was a demigod beforehand I'm kind of debating her twin sister not being a demigod and only she is but i'm not sure I'm going to keep that
Fluttershy- I honestly don't know anymore my first thought was Iris because her personality in the books is pretty similar to Fluttershy but I truly don't know I'm now thinking maybe Hermes or even Apollo, oh I wish Pan was an option I'm going to leave a pole which Godly parent do you think Fluttershy would have, in any case, I think like Pinkie Pie she has three biological parents( also Dionysus is not an option because if you could tell by my username I ship Pinkie Pie with Fluttershy I'm not making them siblings neither is Apollo because I also ship her with sunset and she's a daughter of Apollo)
I think fluttershy was coming to Camp since she was 12 i truly don't know if she knew she was a dummy God beforehand i think I would figure that out when I figure out who her Godly payment is
Sunset- this one should be obvious Apollo, she is the first person on this list to only have one mortal parent Principal Celestia who doesn't know that she's her daughter because she thinks her daughter might be dead because she did go through the portal to Equestria in this universe, she came to camp after Battle of Olympus and she definitely didn't know she was a demigod before coming to Camp she didn't know that she was originally a human
Applejack- also a daughter of Apollo, remember her archery skills in the friendship games, she is an interesting case because she was not born from cheating but she was conceived when Buttercup was already with Bright Mac that's because one of them has the ability to see through the mist I haven't decided which one and after having their first child (Big Mac)together a few years later buttercup got the attention of a God and because they both knew that he was a god Bright Mac was like yo that's a god it's not cheating I'm giving you permission to hook up with that God and then a few years later bright Mack did the same thing with Hephaestus, so yeah even though she's not biologically related to her Paul or her little sister they're still family to her Granny Smith knows none of this, she started going to Camp when she was 12 and she definitely knows she was a demigod beforehand her paw values honesty after all
Rarity- rarity is a daughter of Aphrodite and her conception actually leads to my personal head Canon for Aphrodite I think she sometimes has kids with couples because she falls in love with the love of a couple, so basically Rarity was conceived because her mom loved her mortal parent's relationship so much that she had a kid with them. I think she would be a daughter of Aphrodite because she's a hopeless romantic, personally I think she started coming to Camp when she was around 12 though I'm not quite sure if she knew she was a demigod beforehand
Twilight( the human one)- I think she's a child of Athena i haven't decided whether her biological Mortal parent is her mom in the show or her dad but because Athena's kids Are not born from a romantic love more of a purely platonic Fascination it's not cheating. I feel like my reasoning should be pretty obvious also she doesn't come to Camp until after the battle of Olympus. She doesn't know she's a demigod until she gets to camp
Rainbow Dash- daughter of Nike. In terms of Rainbow Dash's conception her dad was single when she was conceived her mom in the show is her stepmom who came into her life when she was about 3, the reason why I think her mom would be Nike because she is very competitive and very fixated on winning and Nike is literally the goddess of victory, also she came to camp after the Battle of Olympus . Rainbow doesn't know she's a demigod until she gets to camp
In this Au, the Battle of Olympus happened white before the Friendship Games and because of that the Friendship Games don't exactly happen the same way because they met the human Twilight at camp before the school yeah even began

Dance of the Lotus and Wandering Dandelion
Nilou x fem! traveler! Reader
A/N: I wrote this for a friend a few months ago, and I think there needs to be some more Nilou love in the world. If you’re a Nilou fan, ily and have the best day! <3
Word count: 1.4k
Content: pure fluff, can be read as platonic or romantic, not proofread.
The lush greenery of Sumeru shimmered with a fresh layer of dew as the chirping of birds broke the early morning silence, welcoming the sun and rest of the world with song. Some believed daybreak to be a mystical time of day, not only is it a gateway between dark and light, but it also blurred the line between sleep and awareness— or dream and reality.
Nilou was accustomed to dreams, her nights were usually full of them, but ever since the Sabzeruz Festival. Not even her pre-sleep relaxation methods were working! She couldn’t remember much from that day. The memories were fuzzy. Was it the worry that got to her and blocked it out? And she thought she was doing good at controlling her stress levels too!
All she could remember clearly was her dance. It was magical! No, no she wasn’t trying to be arrogant, but her performance that day captured all the emotions she wished to convey— her love, devotion, and passion all on display for her audience. Everyone stopped to watch her, not a soul could take their eyes off her! It wasn’t the attention or fame she craved, but the knowledge that she conveyed her message through that dance caused a flutter in her chest.
This pleasant flutter kept her going even when nights were rot with lack of sleep or when she woke up in a cold sweat. No gloomy days could stop her as long as she had dance and her passion for it! She would stay positive, active, and not waste time thinking about sleepless nights.
Which is what led to the frizzy haired, barefoot girl being out here at sunrise, a blanket under one arm and a basket of goods in her other one. She hummed a silent tune, letting the dew covered grass soak into her feet. Her eyes widened slightly when no bloom cores sprung under her. She expected it at this point despite her nonexistent activation of her vision, and the grass wasn’t infused with dendro either. Her recent relentless training gave her these insistent fears.
Surprisingly, dance and fighting weren’t so different, especially since Nilou could never see herself dawning armor and being the center of a fight. If she could, she’d rather appease her opponents with her dances, but from the stories her friend told her, that wasn’t an option when it came to actual fighting, so when her days were full of practices and dances, she filled her sleepless, empty nights wielding the power of hydro, trying to make it bend to her will.
“You’re here!” Nilou gasped, her face breaking out into a large grin. She dropped her basket and blanket, quick to throw her arms around the girl standing alone on the hillside, basking in the rays of the sun. “I didn’t think you would. It’s so early.”
She pulled away, taking her hands between her own and pulling her along to the spot for the picnic. She sat now and patted the spot next to her with a weary smile. “You’ve probably seen all kinds.of views like this, haven’t you? It’s not much, but I like coming here.”
(Name) shook her head, accepting Nilou’s offering of pudding with a grateful smile: “The views in Sumeru are my favorite. I like this place.” She glanced around before meeting Nilou’s gaze again.
“Really? Any view with you would be a nice one though. No matter what!” Nilou smiled, stretching her limbs out on the picnic blanket. The clouds covered the sun and then parted, Celestia’s glow warming Nilou’s skin as if in soft encouragement. This picnic wasn’t just a sweet gesture. Well, it was, but Nilou wanted this opportunity to speak alone with the girl.
“Speaking of, I heard you’re leaving Sumeru soon.” She whispered, breaking the contented silence which had fallen over them. She didn’t break eye contact, fidgeting with her shaking hands. No amount of training could stop her when she began shaking like this, not even her optimism could even though it compelled her to hope this would go well. “You’re going to Fontaine and then Natlan, both sound like scary places…”
She trailed off, and (Name) nodded, glancing away too: “I am. I love it here. Sumeru feels like my home, but I need to continue my journey to meet the seven Archons.”
(Name) wouldn’t dare ask for Nilou to join her as much as she had grown to love the dancer. Despite their bond, (Name) knew Nilou had duties to Zubayr Theatre and making sure the Akademiya couldn’t touch it. Likewise, she had duties too. Their fates couldn’t mix, and what kind of person would she be if she tried to redirect Nilou’s future?
Nilou was having a similar debate. What if (Name) didn’t need her? What if she’d only be a hindrance on her journey? Nilou knew she’d never be the strongest, never be the perfect partner in face of danger, but what would she be if she let all her hard work and training go to waste? She couldn’t live with regrets, not this one anyway.
“I want to go with you.”
She winced, but she couldn’t look away, her eyes burnt with passion and longing as she looked at (Name)’s shocked face, trying to pour all her emotions in one single look. In her shock, (Name) lost hold of her padisarah pudding which Nilou caught.
“Excuse me?”
That reply wasn’t what Nilou was expecting. She flinched away, taking on the facial expression of a kicked puppy. She played with the rim of the pudding bowl, trying not to let her disappointment be too obvious. She knew the answer would probably be a “no,” but that confused tone and exasperated wording wasn’t what she wanted. “My apologies, I was too forward, wasn’t-“
“No, I was just surprised. What about the theatre? Your dancing? Would you really leave it?” She gestured towards the city of Sumeru as if to make her point more clear. “I don’t want you to leave that all behind, not for me.”
“It won't be forever; I'll come back, but I’ll have dancing forever. I don’t know how long I’ll have you.” Nilou’s heart sounded like drums in her ears, the fear of rejection eating away at her. “Will it be a year before you leave Teyvat? Two? Five? How many more times will you have the opportunity to visit Sumeru before you go beyond Celestia again? How many of those times will you get to see me? I’ll be dancing for years to come, but I won’t have you for nearly the same amount of time. Will I?”
(Name) stayed silent, picking at the grass around the picnic blanket. She wanted to assure Nilou that she’d be back, but she just couldn’t know for sure. Sumeru was her home away from home, and all the people she met were so special to her in various different ways. Would she ever get to say goodbye to any of them when that faithful departure day came?
“I even learned how to fight.” Nilou added, her cheeks getting rosy from the admission. “I’m not as good as you, and the foes you’ve faced would make quick work of me. But with your connection to Dendro and my hydro vision, I think we’d make a good team, don’t you?”
She couldn’t help but smile at that, her face breaking out into a wide grin before nodding. “Okay! If you’re sure, I want you to join me.”
Nilou’s face became a mirror of (Name)’s as she let out an excited cheer, wrapping her in a tight hug and nearly popping her neck off. “Really? Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” The stress, the excitement, the sleepless night all combined and collectly faded as the relief set in. Nilou yawned, falling away from her.
“Thank you.” Nilou mumbled, a content smile on her face. Her eyes fluttered shut, long lashes brushing her cheeks and her hair sprawled out around her. “I think my sleep can be peaceful now since I have you around.”
The last part of her sentence came out mumbled, quiet snores racking her body. It was as if she was a doll instead of a person. Her sleeping form held a sense of elegance her dances could never capture, the grace of stillness only found in someone who is constantly moving.
Request are open and welcomed!! <3

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Love is complex, it could squeeze your heart, though whether it is in joy or sorrow, it is completely up to Celestia. Love is something that bounds you whole, encasing you into its suffocating embrace until you accept its embrace. Love could be your greatest strength, your motivation and inspiration. But it could also be your greatest weakness, a call of desperation and grief. A relationship is built with a fierce bond, when two halves meet. Whilst it requires considerable amount of work, it could develop into a beautiful thing. Full of emotions, full of trust and care. Though, most importantly, you must be each other’s pillar of strength and you must be able to rely on each other.
The duty of an Archon requires many things, especially the ability to work on your own, to not rely on anyone. It was baffling that Ei, herself, had taken a liking to someone. It was jaw-dropping, more shocking than the fierce lightening that came crashing down to land whenever a thunderstorm had occurred, could shock you. Especially since the one to grasp her heart after defeating her tall, thick, and secure walls surrounding it, was a mere human. [Y/N] [L/N].
It was pleasant. [Y/N] was granted the privilege to wander into Ei’s Plane of Euthymia at any time she wished to accompany her. Usually, Ei would dislike it if her meditation was interrupted but [Y/N] is the sole exception. She’d find it enjoyable even, the presence of the human she held close to her heart was simply delightful. Especially when she’d ramble on about her little stories and things that happened to her recently. Her voice was beautiful to Ei as were her emotions that were displayed in her tone while she spoke.
The fleeting touches, the way their hearts would race and the sweet, small smiles that were shared. Everything was pleasant.
So, then they took the first step. They got into a relationship.
That it is when their little enamouring fantasy began to crumble.
Ei had begun to grieve once again, distancing herself from her lover. Her actions quietly conveyed how afraid she was. The way she quickly would avert her gaze elsewhere, making up excuses just to avoid [Y/N] and her short, cold responses. It hurt [Y/N]. She could see the sorrow in Ei’s amethyst-like eyes, the hidden secrets of the painful past. She truly did want to assist, she really did. She tried getting Ei to open up, letting her know that she could comfort her with open arms. But is only a matter of time before one starts to get exhausted.
7 months.
That is the amount of time it took for [Y/n] to grow tired. She loved Ei, she truly did. But she can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped nor did she deserve to stay within a one-sided relationship. She deserved to be happy not to be neglected.
Hastened footsteps echoed through the Plane of Euthymia, [Y/N]’s hands in tight fists and her breathing forced to be long and steady.
There she was.
Those familiar galaxy-like boring into hers, but the coldness within them left her confused and sorrowful. The archon was presented in a meditating position, the air around her tense and taunting. As if it were waiting for her to start the talking about the rather touchy subject.
Nervousness flooded through [Y/N]’s veins but she forced herself to remain calm. If she didn’t do it now then the Archons would know when she would.
“Ei,” The Archon’s cold gaze didn’t budge by her cold and stern voice. Only silence answering her call.
The atmosphere was suffocating but she still managed to take a long, deep breath.
“We need to talk.”
“The contents of the matter being?” The coldness [Y/N]’s voice had was thrown back at her tenfold from Ei. Her heart aching slightly at the Archon’s conceding tone, as if she was reminding her that she was very much superior than her.
“Us.” [Y/N]’s stern façade began to falter slightly; it was beginning to get hard to not let her voice break.
Ei began to reply, but [Y/N] knew her too well.
“No, I don’t want an excuse, Ei. I want to discuss this, please.” [Y/N] cut her off before she even made a sound, causing Ei to pursue her lips.
That is when [Y/N] realised she had sauntered closer to Ei subconsciously in her silent frustration, only half an arms’ length away from her. The atmosphere was squeezing her lungs, more intensity colliding with the air around the pair.
“I know.” [Y/N] finally breathed out. “I know that you are still grieving over Makoto, Ei. And I know that I’ve told you that you can rely on me more than a few times.”
The other was still, as if she was waiting for her to quickly get to the point.
“I’m tired of waiting, Ei.” The said female’s cold gaze faltered, disbelief swirling in her amethyst-like eyes. “I am tired of coming back to the same cold eyes staring back at me, I am tired of being neglected and I am tired of keeping up this one-sided relationship.”
Tears began to well up in [Y/N] eyes but she refused to let them fall, standing her ground firmly. If Ei never dared to reveal her vulnerability to her own lover, why should she? She was sure crescent marking were littering her palm from how tight her fists were. Many emotions flowed through her being; sadness and anger were probably the main ones crawling through all her insides without any mercy. It was so very difficult to not break but her persistence was something worth of an award.
But what pained her more was that not even a single syllable was uttered from Ei’s mouth, it was perfectly sealed shut. If it weren’t for the different show of emotions in her eyes, [Y/N] would’ve thought that her words fell on deaf ears.
“I can’t do this anymore,” [Y/N]’s voice was less fierce, as if she were attempting to console herself. “I’m sorry, Ei. I can only give so much help to someone who is lost in the past.”
It was as if it were in slow motion in Ei’s eyes, the way the person who once loved her, turned their back on her for the first time. The first step she took rang in the Archon’s ears. Another person she held dear was leaving her but all she could do was stand there because deep down she knew that she was already long gone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The clouds were grey, angry as rain came pouring down. That was how [Y/N] felt, her tears of frustration and sorrow disguised within the crystal-clear drops of rain. She was absolutely and utterly drenched but she couldn’t seem to care.
She had run. She ran until it was difficult to gasp for air, her knees buckling before her. The storm didn’t cease, it only roared fiercely with the howling winds and the satisfying crackle of lightening. The damp blades of forest-green grass tickling her legs were her only comfort as she shivered, hugging herself tightly. She wasn’t aware of where she was, her mind finally starting to function within her blizzard of emotions.
The crunching of grass behind her made her breath hitch. She had unexpected company.
“Oh? The dear lover of the great Electro Archon out in the wild and lost? Surely, a little mouse like you holds some sort of intelligence to not roam around all alone?” A laugh was heard, no, laughter was heard. The voice of the person who had spoken was lightly amused with thinly veiled surprise. As if they had hit the jackpot.
The said female clutched a handful of grass, a feeble attempt to shove down her fear. She silently regretted not thinking this all through. Of course, the day of her death was bound to be on the most sorrowful day of her entire life. Her mind was flooded with pure terror and regrets, drowning so deep within them that she didn’t pick up on the footsteps approached her trembling figure from behind.
Her tearful eyes widened at gloved hands roughly turning her around by her shoulders. Another gloved hand grabbing her chin as she was met with blazingly orange eyes. Her eyes trailed downwards, the uniform was of the Fatui, the realisation striking down upon her like lightening.
She was officially, royally screwed.
“I asked you a question and I expect an answer.” He snarled, the closeness only making her anxiety spike, the other members of the group that held her in place only snickered.
That was the opening for her, the grip they had on her had loosened out of arrogance, but she only briefly acknowledged it before the waves of fear had subsided into subtle rage.
With the little confidence she had, she glared daggers at him and spat on him, causing him to recoil his hand to wipe his face in pure disgust. How dare he recognize just because she was Ei’s lover. She knew she wasn’t skilled enough in the field of violence as she is more skilled intellectually. Her tears had halted, a smirk tugging at her lips as she built up the confidence to speak up against him.
“My name is [Y/N] [L/N], thank you very much.” Her voice was devoid of the clutches of fear that had once encased her only moments before. “Now, cease your irritating, cretinous babbling, you imbecile.”
She smiled, as she kicked the Fatui off and quickly moved to the right, standing up while the Fatui that was once behind her, stumbled backwards in pure shock. It was satisfying to see the orange-eyed fatui that had questioned her, drop his jaw. Unable to process the fact of how she escaped their grasp and escaped right in front of him with such ease.
Taking in a deep breath, she summoned her catalyst as the Fatui hastily got over their surprise, anger coursing their veins as they got into position to fight. It was impossible to outrun them.
If it was fated for her to die on this day, may as well die fighting.
-----------------------------
Disarray had begun to catch up with Ei’s stubbornness, it had been hours. The storm had only worsened with her worry. After so many years, her emotions overlapped each other like waves crashing onto waves fiercely.
[Y/N] was right. She was also right to leave Ei. The archon knew that, but deep inside a selfish need to have her back dwelled within her. She knew [Y/N] wouldn’t be back nor would she ever meet someone like her again.
Ei clutched her spear, regret seeping into her being faster than ever. As if a dam had been unleashed.
But she didn’t have the time to drown within her feelings.
The Raiden Shogun informed her of Yae’s presence, demanding to see her.
She didn’t expect to see her worst nightmare come into living. Yae Miko’s usual neat and tidy appearance was stained with crimson, her flirtatious nature seemingly gone, replaced with austereness.
With a limp body in her arms.
“The foxes had brought me to her. She was found dead with Fatui traces all around her.” Yae Miko spoke, a tinge of hatred bouncing into her grim voice.
She stepped forward, holding out the person that was once Ei’s lover. With trembling hands, Ei took her into her arms. Tears slid down her porcelain cheeks, her Amythest-like eyes looking down at [Y/N] sorrowfully yet fondly. She caressed her cold cheek before gaining the strength to speak.
“Fatui traces,” Ei lifted her head to look back at Yae, her tone absolutely livid. “I trust that you have left them for me, no?”
“Indeed.”
“Thank you, Yae.” Ei said, but her voice didn’t sound thankful. More as if she was ready to give them such hell that they would beg for death.
Ei held [Y/N] tighter. Unspoken words and promises conveyed through her actions.
A promise to wreak havoc, an apology for what she had done and another promise to always keep her in her heart.
