i have a deeply personal hc that as very tiny toddlers dee and dennis used to get mixed up all the time until one day dee was getting cuddled by barbara and giggled when she called her dennis and barb was so disgusted and horrified that she had accidentally been so loving to the OTHER one (and a little bit upset that she couldnt tell her precious little boy apart from the girl) so they then were forcefully put in ridiculously gendered clothes. which they of course found ridiculous and used as opportunity to constantly switch clothes at any opportunity.

thats so true though like i know im generally a funny person intentionally but 99% of the time im just talking and it makes people laugh. i was at dinner w some ppl i just met n one of them said “like everything you say is funny… just the way you talk is funny” and i was at a crossroads of being upset that i cant seem to have a normal conversation without being a clown and being happy that im funny because it means a lot to me to make people laugh. but whatever as long as i can be taken seriously on occasion lol
