AND! it will make wearing hairnets so much easier & more comfortable#it was very funny tho#the stylist gave me the rundown on what she did#and added that she kept it kinda soft looking to give it a more Feminine feel while still being a masc haircut#as i stood there. in my pin-covered vest. have no fear, I came back with a positive post to make up for yesterday's complaining!
#my mentor gave me a super good review for something new we're working on#(like said i did better than anyone else in this role ever did on their first try which is good enough for me!)#also was dicking around on my laptop today and found out i have a bunch of free dropbox space for the next year#which is cool because i'll never PAY for dropbox but i can always use another 100gb#(ignore how stressed i'm gonna be when it expires and i have to relocate all those files bc it'll be cool up to that point)#i'm also trying to come up with ideas to display all this merch collection i'm building up so if anyone has any ideas!#i am listening#i ordered a bunch of zines and pins and charms and i wanna display them without accidentally damaging them#i'm thinking some kind of weird shrine in the living room#so everyone who visits my house has to check out the klance obsession#i just think that'll be funny#also i wfh in my living room so i'd get to see it all the time there#OH okay and finally#i got so much writing done this month#like i did fail a bunch of my fandom goals for the month but it's still an impressive amount of words added to my WIPs#and that's a win i'm gonna celebrate#if i can keep this up i'll have a huge chapter fic finished this year and ready to post in early 2025#and and and i got ANOTHER raise so#might even be able to splurge on some nice art for some of the chapters

#art#artists on tumblr#my art#traditional art#doodle#yeah thats the phone i used to take these photos#i did these around very early june this year#every year there's a festival in the middle of my town celebrating it#its pretty much an event for local organizations and businesses to promote themselves#its kinda boring because its the same every year lol#but i go mainly because 3 4ths of the stalls give out promotional branded thingamabobs and free candyyyy (😋)#one of the local libraries gives out free books - daycares and kids centers have toys to play with#and lastly kids art schools have some crafts#which is how i got to work on the cd and badge in the photo#fun fact: the stall i did the cd at gave me a flyer printed on card stock which i used to make my arrangeable v a angel face#at the second stall i actually made the pin a total of two times because i lost the first one minutes after i walked away#and when i came back a second time the people hosting recognized me so i had to explain myself#on an unrelated note they were so impressed with my second pin that they asked to take a picture of me with it#and post it on their social media. and i agreed because yay someone likes my art ^W^#soooo there is a picture of this badge and my REAL FACE floating around on the internet#i regret it in the slightest because I have the reasonable fear of my appearance being out there out of my control#though i guess that's a lost cause because ive been in the background of friends' posts and school club social media posts#btw i wrote “(to) kill” in japanese in cutesy handwriting on the pin because i thought it would be funny#and i think it's even funnier to imagine that the social media of the kid's art school just has a post of a badge saying “KILL💖”#next to my smug ass face

#bought the vivzie bracelets from my gfs irl friend lol#and the it/its sticker and paper stars were gifts from 2 different people at one booth who both separately were like ur cool have stuff#the they/he leather keychain was a commission a shop did and then the person never came back for it#and the seller saw my he/they pronoun pin and was like HEY I HAVE A THING#it was so sweet#but then i was short 2 dollars bc i also got the cuff and spikes#and the sellers just let me take it anyway 😭😭#and a dude gave me a free donut 😭#20cm mini mura#mine

Delayed Day 1 of ECCC wrap: scouted the con, got quite a few people taking pictures of my Flug cosplay! The big find was full art cards of both Adaman and Irida, so I nabbed those! A ton of vendors can't wait to see our Submas cosplay today; we will not be disappointing!
#i also bought a big chandelure plush and a joltik and some prints#and a very very kind seller gave me a free enamel pin on top of the 3 for $30 deal they had because we're both such huge chandelure fans#so I'm making SURE they see our costumes today!!!
