Also while I'm still feeling this episode, I was expecting a fight scene. I was expecting matt to fucking rage quit this hero abstinence. I was expecting for him and punisher to yell and beat the shit (lovingly) out of each other, hell I was fucking excited for it after the last episode being almost entirely in the court (I really liked the last episode but I've been aching for this man to reaaaally let go, episode 2's fight scene was a sprinkle, I want more)

But godammmmmn, the crying, the bitch slap, the apology, franks son, say his name, everying

That was so much bette4 this any fight scene my naive ass could've hoped for. The catharsis. The grief holy everloving shit.

I came into this episode craving violence, I left it realizing these writers are getting this character better than I am, and holy shit am I hear for it

ok tbh i passed out last night before i could share my final thoughts but like backlash was Ok i guess

four-way and becky/lyra matches were my favorites as expected. dom/penta was incredible until fucking gable showed up.

pat/gunther honestly left me feeling a little weird. yeah sure ok pat got his ass kicked but it still felt like he won at the end yk? gunther showing him respect rlly irked me and the whole "we cant even have an opinion anymore" bits sounded a lot like typical conservative bs. like pat being this ""savior of free speech"" was kind of annoying. but yk he still got his shit rocked so theres that

randy/cena's match made me cry (in a good way). if this is truly their last match, its a great ending to their story together. the way cena just looked. so sad and almost remorseful in the end rlly proves to me that john's story is going to be finding his love for wrestling again and i kind of love that. i said in tags for another post but i think itd be really silly if cody came back and took his title back from the 'real' john cena. idk how anyone else feels about that ik it might seem a little repetitive maybe but idk given codys character themes, itd fit. i think im mostly rooting for cm punk to be the one to take it from cena but cody coming back for it would be fun too. i also have my own theories on seth going after cena and wanting to take down both him and the rock for his own selfish reasons but thats a Whole different thing :3

it was an ok night. im honestly just waiting for MITB buildup to start. thats always been my favorite ple anyways. im so so interested in seeing whos gonna be in those matches.

getting properly attached to henry, I think in part bc im not very good at the game and as such have accidentally made him into a hapless, bumbling fool who has the life instincts of a baby deer (very endearing). which also coincidentally describes sir hans really well, so the two of us are just dumb & dumber cringefailing our way through life like a bad slapstick comedy routine
