i think they are super interesting and mysterious and the commentary that their character provides on things like mysoginy is splendid to me (of course there is a whole lot more to them but i do think this a pretty important thing about them). if this part of their character is not clear to you then idk what to tell you man. look at the game

I want to talk how important that scene actually is. She realized that Scratch was worried regarding her and Ollie's relationship for a reason and that he is now in danger so she runs outside crying for Scratch. They both immediately apologize to each other, they are both hugging and crying. There was no "I told you so" from Scratch regarding their former argument - he admits that he can be difficult to get along with at times. He doesn't blame Molly for reacting the way she did.

Molly makes it clear that from here on, it's over between Ollie and her because she doesn't want to put Scratch in danger. Scratch seems surprised about it, maybe because he did not expect it, maybe because he wanted Molly to be happy and not toss someone she cares about aside for his sake.

So what happens next? They are goofing around. Or rather, Scratch is the one goofing around and pulling grimaces. He is trying to cheer her up, because of their argument from earlier, then her crying and then ending a relationship. A lot was dropped on both of them, now it's time to make the kid happy again like he said.

This ghost went from "I am gonna ruin this kid's first day at school and humiliate her in front of everyone" to "I really want this kid to be happy".

so prochee just snatches up squeaker and runs as far away as he can somewhere that he at least Thinks theyll be safe

and has to build a home for the two,, all the while trying to figure out why hes here
