Swap Maxley My Take

Greetings, one and all. I hope that everyone is doing well today. The poll results are in! And survey says...!

With a one hundred percent vote of thirty-four in favor, all of you want to hear my take on a swap!Maxley. Honestly I was rather surprised. I didn't think anyone would be interested. But the people have spoken. And I won't ignore you! So here we go.

Swap!Max Goof = After crashing and performing alongside his idol, Powerline became impressed by Max's showmanship and moxie. He saw a spark in the young Labradoodle that he himself had that inspired him to take up the path of becoming a pop star. So Powerline took Max under his wing and personally tutored him in the art of singing. An eager Max took to the lessons like a fish to water. Speaking of water, to help improve his lung capacity and breath endurance, the young man decided to take up swimming as a sport. Thanks to his Labrador Retriever build and his aerodynamic standard poodle webbed feet - Max is basically a super swimmer. What started out as an exercise to help maintain his lungs for his main career led to the Labradoodle becoming a recognized swimming champion. By the time Max entered college with his friends Bobby and P.J. at Welig University he joined the school's swimming team and earned himself the position of captain. Between his talents for singing and swimming Max became known as "the Siren". Swap!Bradley Uppercrust the 3rd = Ever since he was a kid, Bradley has always had an affinity for all things extreme. And he likewise has a predilection for the spotlight. Which meant that his high-octane ambitions were set for silver screen. Bradley aspired to be just like his favorite actor; a vampire bat anthro named Chernabog who's famous for his dramatic roles and doing his own action scenes. And when Bradley's grandfather surprised him on his sixteenth birthday by getting him an audience the fabled actor himself – naturally the young Saluki was elated. Although it wouldn't appear to be the case to an outside Chernabog was intrigued by the drive Bradley had for stardom greatness and his love for all things intense. So he put forth a challenge that he felt the young man would be up to. When he comes of age to enter university; and should he choose to enter a fraternity, train the entire fraternity to become a new generation of actors like the world has never seen. Comedy, drama, romance, action, tragedy – whatever the genre is they have to be the best and beyond at it. But the number one caveat was that they have to do the stunts all on their own. It was a challenge that Bradley happily took to. And no sooner did he enroll in Welig University did he take the fraternity scene by storm – eventually meeting and forming fast friendships with Tank, Slouch, Kevin, Boris, Shades and Federico and teaching them all that there is about acting from VFX to running lines to stage props to choreography. As a result the Gamma Mu Mu Fraternity became known as the “Actor's Fraternity” on campus, setting them apart from of the other fraternities as equal parts tough and cultured.

How Bradley and Max met = When Max became captain of the swim team so soon despite being a freshman, a now senior Bradley was incredibly curious. The Gammas got a grant for their first independent film and were making a swashbuckling production. They could use a skilled swimmer who can hold their breath under water for long periods of time. So, he went to the rooftop pool of the university to see the freshman known as “the Siren” for himself. And what he saw and heard left Bradley in awe. In the clear water doing a backstroke in form-fitting blue and yellow swim trunks was a gorgeous male Labradoodle with sable black fur and hair, eyes like chocolate truffles, two buck-teeth that looked funny but in a cute way and he was singing in a bewitching voice that would have led a weaker man to his ruin. Halfway to the other end of the pool Max noticed Bradley staring and came out of the water, shaking the excess off his fur then taking a towel to dry off his shoulder length hair. He introduced himself, and the rest is history. Max was more than happy to play a role in Bradley's film. And even after the end credits of that project he soon became Bradley's “co-star” in life, and the Saluki became the Labradoodle's “jolly sailor bold” who always got to hear his sweetest melodies.

And that's that! I hope that you all enjoyed my take on swap!Maxley. This was really fun to make and is my last Maxley headcanon for 2024. But of course - that doesn't make this my last Maxley headcanon ever. I still have tons of ideas to come in 2025! So be sure to look forward to that. Until next time, you all take care!

Rohini & Ashlesha ruling over, "The Siren Archetype"

In my opinion it 100% makes sense because Rohini and Ashlesha are known to be the most seductive nakshatras.

Rohini is naturally a seductive and alluring nakshatra, they have a huge amount of magnetism and irresistibility. Many perceive them to be docile and innocent which is a little true but at the same time Rohini individuals have a beguiling dark side and it's shown through fashion, makeup, and mannerisms. Their hypnotic snake-like eyes and allure will lure you in like a moth to a flame.

Ashlesha possess an tantalizing and enticing quality that's hard resist with a lot of people deeming them as incredibly sexy beauties. Their aura and the way they talk is very tempting almost attracting everyone towards them in just one minute. They already are rule the dark feminine aesthetic and the Siren eyed look, the gaze is hypnotizing and captivating. Ashlesha women are extremely powerful seductress.

Another thing that Rohini and Ashlesha have in common is the power attraction able to pull masses with ease due to their enthralling and entrancing talents and they're both connected to snakes which grants them seduction and hypnotism, but also snakes has connections to water too some snakes know how to swim and those that are born with snake yoni nakshatras can be excellent swimmers and sensual dancers. Snake nakshatras make great singers, they have breathy, sultry, and trance-inducing vocals. Both of these nakshatras tend to attract people that want to abuse, and take advantage of them because of their beauty, charm, and seductiveness. It's similar to a snake it'll be minding its own business just passing through and then all of a sudden humans or animals will catch hold of the its presence admiring it or immediately freaking out wanting to attack it, this is why snakes are constantly on defense mode from things and people that'll want to harm them much similar to Siren and her singing. Thanks to the venom that snakes maintain that is too used to protect themselves as well.

Before I finish up this post I'd like to add Ailyn here, she was a former singer in the Norwegian metal band called, "Sirenia" and when she was still in the group they had a album named, "Perils of the Deep Blue" that came out in 2013 with the cover image of Siren. All of the songs in the album is dedicated to Siren, Ailyn's singing and essence alone is reminding me of a Siren.

I think I'll just try to add one for each Olympian besides Athena and add links if I already made bigger posts about them. (The non-EPIC gods might get a little shorter)

Zeus: Makes the biggest gestures, in debate, at dinner, just whenever he's talking. It's great for who's sitting next to him (usually Hera and Athena respectively) bc who doesn't love being almost hit in the face every two seconds?

Poseidon: Involves himself in arguments all. the. time. Nobody cared, nobody asked, he knows like half of the facts and has no idea what the problem is but SURE shout along.

Hades: A lot more measured and chill than his brothers, but lets himself be drawn into debates and he CAN get pretty heated if the arguments get too nonsensical.

Hera: Has a massive garden and tends to it herself. It has a peacock fountain and stuff, it's really beautiful.

Demeter: Will 100% cry if she gets a gift from one of the kids.

Hestia: The best. Gives people a bit too much space sometimes. Like, yes, all her nieces and nephews are stubborn but some of them really could need a venting session or a hug down the line, but she just leaves them be. (It is not her responsibility but she wouldn't mind them venting, she just assumes they'll come themselves)

Hephaestus: Is actually a really good singer (we're not talking musical world rules where everyone can sing, normal world) Like mostly it's too loud in the forge but he sings to himself anyway and he has a good voice.

Aphrodite: Is an amazing swimmer. Basing this on her ocean-born creation myth even though I am more of a fan of her being Zeus' kid for my own version. For the same reason, I always picture her with pearls

Artemis: In council, I believe she's the most confrontational actually. Yes, more than Athena. Athena lies to get what she wants. Artemis doesn't live on Olympus, she just comes for the council meetings so she might as well speak her mind even if it means the meeting is even more chaos than normal. In general, she never backs down from what she believes in.

Hermes: God of eavesdropping and gossip. Seriously. Do you really have to know every single thing that's going on? Also I think his funny persona is a coping mechanism but it's so deeply ingrained it would be literally impossible to shed.

Dionysus: Randomly says the most insightful shit you've ever heard. Like, Athena is speechless levels of deep stuff. Like... is it because of the drugs or is he on drugs because otherwise his being would transcend the universe, we will never know.

had a great conversation today about danganronpa ultimates and the idea that so many of those ultimate talents come with a massive time limit, but this ESPECIALLY applies to sayaka maizono. her entire life is dedicated to being a pop idol to the point she considers her band her family and will go to extreme lengths for them. being a pop idol has quite literally defined her persona and personality for years as a means to survive in that industry. but as a pop idol she only has years left of relevancy because as much as she might fight against it she will eventually grow up and out of the typical age range for idols. best case scenario she becomes a mildly relevant independent singer who still struggles against the pressure of the industry but with far less reward, worst case scenario she is removed from the public eye entirely. and THEN what? hopes peak academy as a replacement for a typical high school experience can be quite terrifying at times just because it focuses in on ONE talent. YOUR talent. but what if your talent comes with an expiration date? what do you do then?? it's not as if you've been prepared for any other career path. you're stuck there

anyways, i just think the idea of a time limit on ultimate talents is both fascinating and pretty devastating. it really emphasises sayakas personal fears as well, considering how little time she has in the spotlight and her desperation to maintain her idol personality, but it also provides a pretty awesome look into a few other ultimate talents as well. athletes (swimmer, gymnast, baseball star, dancer etc) have got time limits ESPECIALLY if they injure themselves, ultimate fashionistas will eventually age. just interesting to think on

Random Yellowjackets Headcanons:

Laura Lee Edition

Really really good at doing nails. Sometimes, she paints the Yellowjacket's nails for parties and even does them in yellow and blue before a game.

As well as her piano playing, she's an exceptionally good singer. ALWAYS has a leading role in school productions. The literal golden child of the theatre department.

She's an absolute Math whizz. Aces every single math test she ever sits, always at the top of her class.

Adores the colour yellow, specifically pale yellow. Her mom plants daffodils and yellow tulips in the garden because she knows how much Laura Lee loves them.

Has a LOT of siblings. I'm talking like five or six. Mostly brothers that are younger than her. For this reason she has an especially close relationship with her mother, as they're the only girls in the house, but is very protective and caring towards her youngest brother.

Her parents aren't Christian, but her grandfather was. She spent a lot of time with her grandfather growing up as her parents were working, and as a result adopted his faith. Her other family members aren't religious, but they fully support and respect her choice.

As a child, she would actively search the streets for stray dogs and cats as she REALLY wanted a pet. Once, she found an abandoned kitten on the roadside and managed to hide him in her bedroom for two weeks before her mother found it. In the end, she was allowed to keep it because her mother thought her determination was cute.

Very proficient swimmer. After her near death experience in the pool at summer camp, she develops a fixation on water and joins the local swim team. She goes on to win several medals, and swimming becomes her favourite hobby alongside soccer.

The novelty of ‘newness’ in the life of a teenager that had a rinse and repeat ritual (eat-sleep-school-repeat) had never occurred to Sunjae as special until now. Until he got a girlfriend shaped like a pea-sized pretty girl that coincidentally lived across the street. Suddenly, everything was new. Holding hands, laughing, talking; it all felt like the first time he truly, really did such things. Especially calling her name with affection: that was new. 

Sol. His Sol. Sol-ah.

His friends called him a goon for his infatuated state, but how could he not find a thrill every daybreak knowing it was another 24 hours being Sol’s boyfriend? He counted the days til one hundred so they could celebrate their relationship. 

It was day thirty. 

Sunjae waited by his house gate, a sweater thrown over his school uniform as an autumn chill drifted between the foliage. A hand gripped his backpack, knuckles white, as he resisted to go over to her side of the street and wait at her door like some puppy. Sunjae was cool. He was the best swimmer on his team, a decent-ish singer, and okay looks. There was no need for him to act like—

Sol’s front door swung open, the girl appearing in the threshold and quickly bounding down the concrete stairs to the ground floor. Her hair was pushed back with a headband, the long tresses pin-straight down her back. She complained about the texture yesterday, that she begged her mom to give her a perm, but her mother had refused. Sunjae liked her hair. It was soft and his fingers managed to go through it without much fuss. 

He peered down at her, a slight smile dancing on his face. “Hi.”

“Sunjae-ah, you weren’t waiting too long, right?” she asked, grabbing his hand. “It’s getting cold.”

He shook his head and his smile naturally grew at her touch. Despite him being much taller and stronger, he allowed himself to be dragged by her. It was cute. “I wasn’t waiting long. You don’t need to worry, Sol-ah.”

“You waited in the rain last week!” she exclaimed in defense.

“With an umbrella.”

“Well, duh.” Sol looked up at him. “Just don’t catch a cold, okay?”

His smile grew. “We should, um, we should share warmth then.” Tugging her closer, he released her hand and instead threw his arm over her shoulder. His heart thudded from his ribcage to the tips of his fingers, right where it brushed the strap of her backpack. “T-that’s better.”

“Sun-jae-ah…” she whined, gently swatting him, but her tone was anything but upset. “Neighbours will see us…”

Sunjae grinned. His cheeks hurt and it wasn’t eight o’clock yet. “And?”

“And…” Sol blushed. “I don’t know. I still think my mom will suddenly change her mind and abolish dating until I’m thirty.”

Sol’s mother was a scary woman. Tall and imposing, she had a way of making each syllable resolute, even if the words itself were kind. She managed the video rental store with an iron fist. His dad looked like a wimp in comparison to her. Sunjae had to muster a lot of confidence thirty days ago to ask her mother if he was allowed to date Sol. Not only had the woman looked shocked and aghast, she also questioned his ‘purity’ and intentions.

That… was also new.     

As if he wasn’t as pure as air! As if his intentions with Sol wasn’t to just hold her hand and study together and watch movies together and… well… occasionally kiss, or whatever. But he was pure! He really, obviously, honestly liked her. A lot. A whole lot. 

He rubbed her shoulder. “I won’t let her.”

“Yeah, right.”

Then I’ll wait. “I’m not scared of her,” he argued.

Her brows raised in disbelief. “I’m scared of her. How are you not?”

Glancing left and right to check his surroundings, he swooped down and placed a kiss on her cheek. Sol squeaked, slapping a hand over her mouth as though shocked by the noise she made, and it only amplified her cuteness. Raising her brows at him was cute. Squeaking from a kiss was cute. Looking up at him was cute. Cute, cute, cute. Sunjae felt insane with infatuation. 

“That’s new,” she uttered, shy, fiddling with the hem of his hoodie. “Sudden kisses…”

Sunjae’s smile stretched wider, keeping his face close to hers. “Yeah. New. You like it?”

Sol hummed. Her cheeks were as pink as her headband. “Yeah, I like it.”
