I fucked up.

During Christmass I got sick with whooping cough. While I was unable to sleep, due to feaver, I was stricken with a thought:

"What a perfect time to order some nails. I have a picture to hang. Therefore I require nails. For my picture. What better time to order them than now, when I am sick and my mind is foggy."

And so I did. I picked up my phone and found a best deal for nails in online store. 1kg of shiny steel nails for 10zł (2,35€/2,40$). What a steal! I can put on so many pictures with them! Not only the one I plan to.

Time passes. It was Christmass, remember? The delivery would take time. Finally my nails are here. So I forget about them. My nails. For my picture. Because I still have whooping cough.

Several days later I am no longer so sick. And I remember my nails! For my picture! I open my package.

Fellas, let me tell you. I made a teeny tiny mistake while ordering them. My nails. My nails for the picture. That I now have 1kg of.

My shing, steel nails, that I ordered while I was sick and CLEARLY did no comprehand the lengh stated in mm. And that I have now 1kg of.

Do you laughed now? Does this amuse you? Well it should. However, do you know how they look next to the picture? The one I wanted to put on my wall and I needed nails for?

They are, in fact, bigger than it.

I fucked up.

In defense of resting in your masculine

First off, you can enjoy a soft life, but if you ground yourself in reality and leave out the delusions… it’s not difficult to arrive at the conclusion that in order to be free, you must be financially independent. You don’t get financial freedom by relying on your family or partners, you will need to do some type of work.

On a personal level I would rather be bound by a work contract based on law, than the free will of a parent or a partner that can change in the snap of a finger. I titled this in defense of resting in your masculine, because your main responsibility in life is you, and you need to constantly create the life you want for yourself. Quite frankly I do not think you can achieve that by repeating 50 affirmations in front of your mirror, and consuming femininity content. The same way you bash the state of being stuck in masculine energy, you should also bash this outdated mentality that you can just “protect your peace”, wear pink clothes and drink a smoothie or matcha and manifest your dream life.

Forgot to post this here :3 but I finally finished off this drawing of the Nails that I started months ago based on Cell Block Tango from the Chicago musical!

The Nails are a group of assassins who each have their own alliegances as assassins, but have sworn to never hurt one of the group and to look out for each other when needed.

And just have some well-needed girl time / group therapy sessions together from time to time ^-^
