This is my first impression of EXO (OT12):

I didn't know any of the members, only Chanyeol (I looked forward to him the mostttt ♡♡♡) so when the teasers came out I was so excited I was even more excited for EXO to debut!

Kai: It was obvious that he was the face of the group because he was in so many teasers (almost half of them geeeez)! Everyone loved Kai, and I could see why. He's a great dancer.

Luhan: I thought he was pretty cute! He still is cute ♡ I thought he looked like a sweet, little angel (but now he got that good good oml g o o d b y e)

Tao: I just remember thinking he was super cool because of his martial arts skills. And people called him panda. Lol and before Taehyung, Tao was the OG Gucci overlord.

Sehun: I didn't have much of an opinion, but his teaser was pretty cool and I liked how he danced with Kai. He was also in a lot of teasers, so I was like, "he must be visual #2!"

Lay: I think what stuck to me was his name. All I could think of was Lay's chips (if you were in the EXO fandom during early eras-- the memes omg so many memesssss)

Xiumin: Ahh, he looked so squishy! And I had no idea he was the oldest member. He also didn't have a lot of lines, which was sad because I thought he had a great voice to showcase.

Kyungsoo: "Oh wow, he's handsome and he has nice lips and big eyes." /cues the fanfics that describe his heart-shaped lips and O_O memes. Kyungsoo was easily one of my favorites in EXO. I love, love, loved his voice and he had some kind of dark humor to him.

Suho: Okay, honestly. Teaser 16 was probably my most favorite out of all of them because HI HELLO HEY WHO IS THIS ANGEL WHO FELL ONTO THE FACE OF THIS EARTH AND BLESSED ME WITH HIS PRESENCE? I thought Junmyeon was the most beautiful boy to ever grace this planet. He looked so prim and proper and his skin was really nice and I was sort of, kind of in love with him. Oh? EXO-K's leader? Even better, he's a guardian angel. Needless to say, Suho was my first EXO bias.

Kris: He was EXO-M's leader. I thought he looked intimidating, but he was actually a real dork. And suuuper tall!

Chen: His voice W O W. He's great. I was surprised that he was in EXO-M because I thought he could have had a lot more potential in EXO-K. Actually, I thought he also sounded like Jonghyun. So... He kind of reminds me of him when I hear his voice.

Baekhyun: I was too blinded by Junmyeon's beauty and grace before Baekhyun became my UB. He had pretty hands and THE EYELINER THOOOO IT MADE HIM SEXY LEVEL 47282919199237736218. Oh, and his voice? Perfect. His name? Bacon. Baekon. ;)))) but yeah, I didn't have much of a first impression of Baek, but later on ohoho my trashiness appeared

Chanyeol: Gah, I looked forward to Chanyeol the most because I actually knew him from the Genie PV. When I saw him in the El Dorado teaser I was shocked. No, not from his face. It was his hair. It was so fluffy and curly! I thought he looked funny and completely different from how I remembered him. (Once again, the memessss!) I remember being happy that he had his own teaser, and I didn't think that I would like Suho or Baekhyun that much, but Chanyeol was always a favorite of mine. I just didn't realize how much I loved him until later on. ♡

So yeah, my first impressions of EXO weren't that great, but I did love them so much. They were my bias group for a long time, and I still like EXO very much. Despite the many obstacles they faced, they are still one. We are one. I hope that never changes. :')
