i rlly cannot express enough how much love i have for the death note fandom... im fairly new to it obviously but everyone has been SO NICE ABOUT MY ART OH MY GOSH. ive been in a lot of fandoms where ppl were sweet abt my work, but the level of interaction and enthusiasm i have gotten since starting to draw death note art has been like incomparable tbh... i am always so excited when yall leave nice tags and stuff bc they ARE always SO nice

the elves died and lost Eregion

the dwarves lost their king to the ring, with Durin losing (hopefully just) his friendship with Elrond (and not also his wife)

Adar has the ring for now, but he's losing his children - who are literally the one thing he's fighting for - either to death or to broken trust

even fucking Sauron isn't really going out of this (episode) as a satisfied winner, bc he still doesn't have the rings

They *all* get a chance to be featured.#Cooperation was the real end goal! However I do think these two have the best frontman energy of the group.#Or at least 'crowd favourite' energy. I also really loved hearing what people thought their vocal styles would be like!#This was probably one of my favourite polls to do and I love drawing these characters a lot B*)#I'd love to spend a bit more time in this AU so count on me bringing it back.#One thing I keep feeling like I need to redeem myself on is Madam Lan's Translucent skirt. I have *not* done the concept justice yet.#It is such a crack-platonic ship but I want to think Madam Lan and A-Qing would enjoy each other's company.#Possibly also with JYL as well. They can be like mutually beneficial therapy dogs to each other.#Madam Lan never got to see her kids grow up into teenagers after all. She only had sons. Never daughters.#Even if she saw her kids once a month we do know she treated them with so much love and kindness.#She would bite the shit out of YZY for yelling at JYL. What a sight to see. A-Qing would also start biting (for fun).

I'm like those crazy™ characters in horror movies that scribble the monster/their horrifying visions onto every scarp of paper they can get their hands on exept I can't do the scribble arts style so I'm forced to get more creative with it

Anyways here it is!!! It's been a year!!! What the fuck!!! A very cool year, made a lots of friends and moots, went crazy over a couple crossovers dragging a few specific people with me down... and got really good at my art yippie yaay!!

List of reasons for why Eustace Winner wears those white gloves

(with varying degrees of canon possibility):

To not leave fingerprints at the crime scene (possibly canon according to an interview with the devs)

To hide injuries caused by Ex*lsius (heavily implied but not outright confirmed)

To hide injuries caused by general clumsiness combined with blood/skin conditions (again not confirmed but still probable. Happens to me a lot due to VWD.)

They were a gift from Verity along with the baton (no canon hints iirc I just think this would be cute)

To stop skin picking / nail biting due to stress (maybe I should do this)

Hypersensitivity or touch aversion (and only takes them off around people they completely trust)

To avoid the Bad Textures (again maybe I should do this)

Mysophobia (I almost wrote this as misophonia. Am I just irl Stacey.)

To prevent accidental atroquinine poisoning (Kristoph stop leaving your ariadoney lying around this is becoming a problem)

Sonic wears them, so they gotta be cool (silly.)

Eustace Winner is a character whose arc could not have worked like it did if Pheonix was the main character, purely because he’s a reasonably well adjusted adult, who would want to know WHY such an obvious child is working as a prosecutor. The second that kid left the room him and Maya would have turned to Verity, selected the subject line [Eustace Winner], and then broken her psychic locks to unlock his entire backstory.
