i still can’t believe the lovely and incredibly talented @ps2fog wrote me a milex fic for my birthday???? 😭 i’m not even a tiny bit over the fact they wrote something specially for me, or how absolutely BEAUTIFUL it is. like genuinely, it took my breath alway. it’s the the most poetic, lyrical, introspective little snapshot of alex’s thoughts as he’s sharing a cigarette with miles, and if you haven’t read it already you should absolutely check it out! i truly feel so blessed to have made such lovely friends in this little space here 🫶🫶🫶

this month i learned that not only am i mentally ill, i am also chronically ill plus my anxiety is so bad, i have to make actual effort to will myself into the state of chilling, that's crazy = makes chronic illness worse this makes my stupid ass new year resolution to become a chill guy harder gdi 💀💀💀

fortunately getting physical therapy now, so i think i feel a little better (still in pain and tired 24/7 tho).

they also gave me like 1 hour worth of stretches that i need to do twice daily AND FUCKKKKK!!! IT HURTS LIKE HELL!!! BUT I NEED TO DO IT!!! 😭😭😭 i can only do it once a day rn, but im trying rlly hard to do it twice, this shit is so ass.

MY ANALYSIS TAKE ON "RUNNING WILD" MV:

I really like that in the 'Running Wild' Music Video, both Jin and his dog, decided to go places to spent their last time together, despite of the apocalypse. Going to places where is not guarded anymore, like the cinema where they just randomly watch a movie together, a thrift store where they just take and try stuff there since nobody is taking care of the store anymore, I'm assuming SOMEBODY'S LUXURY HOME AND SWIMMING POOL- 😭 (They even go to the beach, for last time sake)

But it doesn't matter anymore, only matters is they enjoy their last moment together. Everyone at the beginning were running for their lives from the apocalypse (which is a valid response-), but Seokjin looks up and stares at the meteors falling from the sky, then looks and his dog, and finally decided to plan the MOST AMAZING TRIP THEY'LL EVER HAD IN THEIR LIFE!

But, this is probably me, almost at the end it seems like Seokjin doesn't want to end. He even rode a car, trying his best escape the meteors (AND SOMEHOW HE SUCCESSED DOING IT??? 😭😭). He refuse to let go, just like the people are, but then he saw a family, cherishing their last moment together, still (SOMEHOW??) avoiding the meteors, but then stop the car to watch the world end, as they treasure their last moment together.

For me , this is a metaphor for for cherishing memories with people you love and care about, even in their last moments. The MV definitely capture the song, in a way, perfectly. Despite me joking about the ABSURDLY of how calm Seokjin is in an apocalypse, the message and story did make their point across. I can say I really like it alot! :) ✨💜💛💜💛💜💛💜✨

What other fandoms are you in/have you drawn fanart for?

First of all thank you for the question, anon! Sorry if the reply is too long xDU

As of right now, aside from Star Trek, I'm not actively participating in any other fandom, I was never that deep into a fandom before Trek really. Also before Trek I mainly did original art, but I have made fanart of other hyperfixations with fandoms along the years, not as prolifically as I do now though. Star Trek and especially Mcspirk have just gripped me hard with the brainrot, more than any other fandom before xD

I've made several fanarts especially of Legend of Zelda and Steven Universe, although I've also drawn occasionally things for Ace Attorney, Sailor Moon, Berserk, Mystic Messenger, Final Fantasy XV, Neon Genesis Evangelion and I'm sure some more I'm not remembering right now.

Which doesn't mean that those things don't interest me anymore, but the hyperfixation with Star Trek is a strong one and has practically taken over my life xD However I've lately been thinking to do some Narumitsu fanart in the future, because I love those two and they are one of my favourite ships.
