4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

I've actually been thinking about a little Cyberpunk 2077 AU for him and Nik so that probably :3c It's still just random thoughts, but Nik being a fixer and Price maybe in Max-Tac or something ?? I had it on my list to draw them in a cyberpunk AU so hey

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

I looooove writing Captain John Price acting so awkward and flustered around Nik because that man knows how to make him weak :3c I also adore writing his internal struggle with his sexuality and stuff, I think it makes him a very interesting character. His love for Nik VS the bullshit toxic masculinity he has been raised on, that sort of thing.

As for things I don't like writing about him, idk, maybe anything too technical? I keep it vague usually

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to this character? Something you don't like?

Looooove when people get his way of speaking + his accent right (like Rawr), always adds so much to the fic imo, and it's not easy to do. Also love him being a mess when flirted with but also him being a strict army captain is always mwah mwah mwah chef kiss. I love a good contrast so yes, all of this 🤌​

Nothing I don't like really comes to mind since the fics I end up reading don't really have anything I don't like in them. Guess I don't like when he's written as a daddy dom top but again, not the kind of stuff I read anyway !

loooove the fact that you write for roach!!!! our bug boy needs attention too. i have an idea for him if you're interested: adopting a cat. what if he finds a small kitten somewhere where he is on a mission and decides to bring it home to his partner. just imagine everytime be comes home he's like "where is my son????" and the kitten runs to him and climbs on his pants 😭

Dearly sorry for how long this took me to write, motivation has been biting my ass lately. But this idea is adoreable, and Roach would be the best ever cat dad. I wrote a lotta this with my own cat sitting on me :D

Cat Dad Roach

It was in the middle of a mission, walking along the streets of a small town. He was wandering at the back of the team, watching Ghost and Soap banter with each other before his eye got caught on something else in the street. He tears himself away from the team, who soon notice his disappearance. They watch from a distance as Roach slowly steps up to a small bundle of fur lying on the side of the road. His face lights up as he reaches for the small kitten, grinning ear to ear, melting a little inside at its small meow. He cradled it close to his chest, taking it back with him no matter what anyone said.

When he got back home, you were standing in the kitchen. When you heard keys in the front door and the soft padding of his boots in the hallway, you knew he was finally home, back to you. You make your way through the house, sticking your head into the doorway. 

“Welcome home baby. Missed you” you say with a smile, that smile turning into a face of confusion as you see him quietly slip his bag off his shoulder, a bundle of blankets wrapped up in his arms. You stare at him with an eyebrow raised, silently questioning him.

He slips his mask off and grins, no look of guilt to be seen. Adjusting the blanket, he speaks softly. “Found ourselves a little friend.”

He moves the blankets to the side, revealing the face of the small kitten, peacefully sleeping in his arms. “Gonna name him Steve.”

From that point on, Steve was a part of the family. There was no changing that fact, he has been adopted, and as Roach refers to him; he is now his son. And you hear about it no matter the hour, or where you both are.

Whenever he comes home from a mission, or just walks in the door from ducking down to the shops to grab some bread that you needed, he instantly drops the items on the kitchen counter, gives you a quick hug and kiss before he then struts through the house, calling out “Where’s my son?!”

He continues this for a few minutes until you can hear the tiny padder of paws against the floorboards, and a noise escaping his lips that you can only describe as pure joy. He kneels, just for Steve and lets him climb all over his clothes, it doesn’t matter if he puts pulls and claw marks all over it, they could be replaced. His beloved Steve never could.

He ends up joining you both for cuddle sessions, every single time. While Roach’s body is intertwined with yours, Steve finds his way into some spot, usually someplace on his chest, to feel his warmth radiating through him and to listen to his heartbeat, always nuzzling against him and leaking trails of cat fur.

Now, he's always thinking about his beloved son. Even when you both go out to shop. He drags you to the pet aisles, even if you complain and say that other things need to be done first. No, he is shopping for his son as well. Once you finally drag him out of the aisle, the trolley is now covered in new cat toys, some new treats to try out, a cute new bowl, and oh… don’t forget the outfits. (He also finds a roach outfit… like father like son)

He feeds Steve like he is royalty. He buys him the best foods and treats, plating the food on his assortment of bowls as if it had come from the fanciest restaurants. You have to stand in the doorway and watch as he coos over his son, watching in delight as he bounds over for his five-star meal.

In the spirit of you getting a rude customer (I've been there, it sucks and I am cursing their entire bloodline, that bastard), I think Nik would be the kind of person to be extremely polite to people working in any job that involves dealing with customers. He always smiles, doesn't hesitate to talk with them for a bit, leaves generous tips and best of all, he will threaten any other customer who happen to be rude to them.

Like imagine some asshole being a real bastard with a barista at Nik's favorite café. Nik would just place one of his big bear hand on the guy's shoulder, towering over him, and tell him that this is no way of talking to another person and order, straight up order him to apologize. Or else :3c.

Anyway all this to say that Nik would hunt the rude customers you had to deal with for sport. Drop them from his helo in the middle of Siberia.

(Hope you're okay Gomz, I know how hard it is, it's tough to not let those assholes get to you but you're awesome and fuck them <3)

Okay Gomz, I have to know now, other than Gaz (who’s clearly the best, out of question), what is your personal thoughts when it comes to the dynamics between the boys and reader? Imo I love feral Soap ((im just down bad man))

hi hi, okay Im sorry if I interpret your question incorrectly but Im assuming you're asking like how I picture the relationship between Price, Ghost and Soap are like with readers? ((yes you're right Gaz will forever be special)) Personally, I like to think Price to be a man of control, like he is the captain after all, man's entire career has probably shaped his way of thinking, being calculative and meticulous, and I would imagine he's the same when he's dating. Like him having the high ground, being the meanie or bully XD but but but, I also like to picture Price to be someone that doesn't want to be in control for a change of pace, he'll let reader pamper him and take care of him, for once he doesn't even have to think about making decisions and let the reader do whatever they like with him. I think still. he's definitely a pleasure dom, your pleasure comes first before anything ;) For Ghost, if you've read my fics and previous asks, I like to have him serious but also silly in the same time(?) Hear me out, like my man will be scared of intimacy and love and the mushy stuff, but once he felt them and accept it? he'll be the corniest, most hopeless romantic. Im also the type who prefer soft Ghost, idk maybe its just me wanting to let him have some form of soft and kindness instead of being mean and grrr all the time, yk?

For Soap, ((lmao yes feral Soap is good as well btw)), I think my idea is more generic for him, like I'd paint him as the golden retriever boyfriend? Big in showing you his feeling in a dramatic way, but I like to think he also have some insecurity showing and cope with humor. Like, sometimes he'll doubt himself if you actually love him because he's loud and all, he'll have thoughts like "i dont deserve you" kind of thing. I dont write him often enough but if i do, that's how I would picture him :]

Gaz is the perfect boyfriend. No arguments needed. Literally will be the best man wife ever, the most gentleman of them all and he's my husband, back off yall (jkjk, we can share <3)
