Omg lol i was lowkey dreading getting this question bc that means I would have to go look back through all of my wips... I think it would probably be my quantum mechanics soulmate AU... It's probably the last thing on my fic fantasy bucket list that I have left to write and it's like. Idk how to write this without making it sound like some horrible manifesto against soulmate AUs (I generally dislike them) so it's been on ice for two years now? I think it was originally Bernardo Silva x Cancelo but I think I would write it about different players now

17.what is your favorite line you’ve ever written?

I will give multiple answers this time since I answered an ask like this before and it's hard to choose just one!!:

Maybe this is how cave divers feel when they discover a new cave. Or how the cave feels, having light shine on its skin for the first time in its long existence.

The green of the pitch and the red bodies of the children blur into a singular scene. It looks like an apple tree. 

Viktor had wanted to be special. To be plucked from the earth and admired on a windowsill, perfect and pink. The light refracting through the glass of his vase and casting rainbows on the wall. 

Bernardo dreams that night of showering with ants, little black things flying out of the showerhead and landing all over his body; scared, biting.

7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?

my fics r very canon-compliant, so i don't do a lot of what i would think of as worldbuilding - i'm having fun doing worldbuilding for the figure skating au i'm always threatening and never actually finishing, lmao! in general, my most cherished piece of worldbuilding is creating the 'buck and eddie r always watching masterchef junior' universe that exists across several of my fics, bc i can never think of another show to have them watching.

36. Do you visualize what you read/write?

i don't visualize anything, ever <3 in that 'picture an apple' test i'm just about all the way to 'do not see anything' - whether it's reading or writing, i find it genuinely very hard to picture anything in my head. i think i often end up forgetting to describe settings, visuals, etc in my writing as a result, and i have to kind of make a point of adding it back in down the line!

ooof HAHA I just counted but I have 11 wips in total with 4 solid leads going somewhere (i at least have words on the page HAHA) one is a longfic that im still plotting out, but if i can ever get that very self indulgent AU into typed form, ill be very happy ;w;

i hope by the time the new season is out, i can get at least those 4 out haha

16. What do you struggle with most when writing?

between finding the motivation to actually write, i feel like i struggle a lot with nailing the right dialogue without coming across as too ooc/bland. I also have a nasty habit of re-reading my work and falling out with the initial concepts and needing to rewrite EVERYTHING from the beginning aaaaa :// quite frustrating -.-

17. What is something you recently felt proud of in your writing?

The otp that i enjoy writing for is vague at best and nonexistent at worst LOL (it didn't really exist until last year) when i first started writing for them, i didnt have a very clear picture of their relationship (i knew what kind of vibes but the SPECIFICS...) but lately as of this year, something has really really clicked for me and i've really enjoyed portraying the ship with more confidence ;w; (despite there being practically zero basis for anything in canon LOL)

Oh!! For hellsing Atom in particular, I based them off myself in voice too! But I don't really have any clips of my own voice so I'll try my best to describe.

Lower register feminine voice, I don't really use a lot of high tones or ever yell. I also kinda slur my words together, like i would say 'for' as 'fer'. Little mono-toned but not too much! Not really that raspy. I've been called a boy before on old game comms.

I actually asked my mom about this and she just said to use Amy Lee as a voice claim as a joke LMAO!! I'm listening to an interview and her speaking tone is pretty similar enough id say! Just add a very slight 'canadian' accent and more awkwardness HAHA

they are going!!! weddings are SO expensive fgbkjngfbnj (and so much of them is gendered! i keep seeing cute stuff and then it says 'mr&mrs' and i have to be like >:( )

ooh!!! i think nanami and i definitely get married; because i am foreign and he also has a foreign side of his family it's much more western than other japanese weddings. he has to talk me down from being too tacky but he is only too happy to ensure that our colour scheme is yellow. he feels a little silly about it but it makes me so happy so we end up with pompompurin wedding rings and a purin and macaron wedding cake topper; he gets his way with the other things, though, so other than that it's pretty traditional! he even manages to get me to wear a white dress fgbnkjnkgjf.

diluc and i get married too! he's torn between having a fancy wedding at the cathedral like his parents did and like the ragnvindr name commands, and just having an intimate ceremony at the winery - eventually we go for the second option. his falcon bears the rings!!! it's a very quiet, soft affair because the idea of diluc opening his heart in front of so many people . . . oough. i think the dress i get for this one is very lovely and whimsical, something teuta matoshi-ish!!!

and wriothesley and i DO get married but in a very bare bones way; he cannot bear the thought of being in front of all of those people and the fact that as a duke there are certain things he's supposed to do . . . very simple ceremony conducted by neuvillette. i still get to wear a nice dress (the most important part) and sigewinne gets to do flower girl duties (the second most important part) fgdnkbjjnkgf.

Ahhhh there's a lot that could go here! If I had to choose 3, at least rn lol, I'd say: It Follows, The Man Who Fell To Earth, and Phantom of the Paradise.

Answered this one in the ask just before! If I had to add to it tho, I'd also add some specific foods: knoephla soup, the orange cookies my grandma taught me to make, and ramen (soup and carbs are big part of my personal food pyramid lmaooo)

There's a good few rn (some older from artist I'm just now catching up on, others newer ones that I'm just finding out abt through friends and stuff), but there's one that's been haunting my fucking head bc I have a fic idea inspired by it that Refuses to actually materialise on the page:

Too many fjdafkljasdfj -Skin picking

-my refusal to admit/realise when I need/am allowed to take breaks from stuff (which in turn burns me out, and then I deny that bc the idea of not being able to keep up w/everything no matter how I'm feeling makes my brain scream lmao)

-that I'm always behind on my laundry

-I'm also always late on figuring out what to get ppl for holidays/bdays so I risk gifts being late to the ppl I care abt

-that I struggle to know when I should endure vs when 'if it sucks hit the bricks' applies

-that I wash my hands entirely too often (not a bad thing exactly but like. Housemate and I are fairly sure I have some form of OCD that my prior doc either ignored or missed somehow lol. It would be nice to not feel like I have to always wash my hands in between touching certain things and doing certain activities and would probably save me some time too lmao. So I figure that means this could fall under a 'bad habit' in a particular way.)

-my recurring need for reassurance on things that I've already been reassured abt, bc my brain like. Forgets?? And then freaks out like 'ok we got told this was fine but. what if it now isn't?'

I'm trying to work on p much all of these, to varying degrees of success. But I also know that like. No one is really 100 percent free of bad habits? So some of these might get better but stick around in some sense thru my life, and others might be replaced by different bad habits. I figure trying is better than nothing in the end (I really need to work on the gifts one tho, I'm just barely getting some on time for a friend's upcoming bday and even tho they should be right on time I feel really bad abt it fadkdjkds)

7. what books have shaped the way you think about writing the most? why?

I think Franny and Zoey has maybe been the one that has shaped me the most like in terms of like creating relationships between characters and things like that also the raven cycle series and the dreamer trilogy have taught me a lot about like world building and like also taught me a lot about characterization too
