I'm not a shipping person either anon, and I am constantly surprising myself with how much I've latched on to this pair. They're the first people I've ever drawn kissing. They're one of the first rarepairs I've ever been genuinely into. They're potentially the only relationship that I've been interested in for the relationship itself, rather than through enjoyment of the (canon and fanfic) romantic stories told about them. Personally I'm interested in them because I am interested in the characters individually (especially Lois) and am utterly fascinated by how the bounce off each other. I don't particularly care if they are in love or if they are good for each other, because it's what they do when they collide and when they walk side by side that's so ahhhhhhh.

100% yes to your summary of their relationship. God I love how Lois just sees through all of Bruce's bullshit. I love how she can immediately call it out. I love how he accepts it. I want her to break down those boundaries and enter his heart. (As if she isn't already there).

And I love just thinking about how it would shape them if they were together?

What would Lois be like with a partner who encourages her to learn to fight and would monitor but not hover over her?

What would Bruce be like with a partner who commits for the long run?

What would Lois be like with a partner who's darker, who offers something different than grounding and a reminder of humanity? Would she remain jaded? Would she become that grounding for Bruce instead?

God there's just so much to think about and so many factors. And they have so many parallels and so many differences.

Hey! Not the anon that was speaking before, but I think I understand what they were trying to say. Please excuse bad English, it is not my first language.

A few of your pieces, (Your banner, The little OC in the pinned post and this post) Do have a traced anime style. I do not mean to be rude when I say this, I am just explaining what I think is their viewpoint is. I've been in the art community for almost a decade now, and back in earlier years these types of linearts and colour shifted anime character style appearances were very common. So I think this is why they are saying. Your oc looks like a few storyshift chara arts I've seen, but maybe that's me.

Also, using bases is okay to learn anatomy. Anon is right about that one. But alot of bases and those non character images of bodies are supposed to be used for reference! Not tracing. Posting it to pretend you drew it entirely is the bad part, because you only really put accessories and clothes and hair on it. Does that make sense...? Most of the artists that you see with poses seen on bases are referencing those arts.

Pintrest also shows a lot of bases that are not okay to be used. For example, a lot of YCH are stolen as pose references on pintrest. So it is rather bad to use those too. I do not know if you use pintrest, though.

Fair, im gonna look into the storyshift chara, i have tried matching my artstyle to fit more mainstream anime just bc insecurities over how i draw and trying to draw characters but them not looking good in my artstyle, i have a pintrest but i dont use it i just look at outfits and TGCF fanart on there, i dont think ive heard of YCH but ill look into that, thanks for this ^-^
