“I dunno Trin, the thought of being recorded for 12 hours of the day, like, I enjoy my privacy”.
“Think about it as an opportunity, having the fans see a different side of you. Showing them how hard you work your ass off.”
Trinity is my best friend, she helped me out so much when I joined the WWE 6 years ago. She and her husband Jon took me into their family and helped me adapt into the crazy world of being a WWE superstar.
“Just think about it is all I’m saying. It’ll be fun” trin says nudging me.
Ever since I moved here, we have had a weekly tradition of Wednesday Girls Night, its just snacks, Chinese takeout, and movies, it’s just time for us to catch up and wind down from the gruelling travel schedule.
Right on queue at exactly 11:30pm Jon walks in the door.
“Times up ladies” he says, which is swiftly followed by two pillows being thrown at his head.
“Come on uce, you know better than to interrupt gIrLs NiGhT”
The couch beside me dipped and once again I felt the heat from the body of Josh Fatu, my one weakness. His hand falls to his side and creeps closer to me caressing the side of my bare thigh. You see what people don’t know is Josh and I have an ‘agreement’ - no feelings, just sex and friendship, and it was going great until it wasn’t, feeling were caught, specifically by me and I’m stuck between a rock and hard place as I’m falling hard for him, but I cant let this agreement end because I would rather have him this way than not have him at all.
“Spoke with Joe today, Hunter is bringing him up to the main roster, can’t wait to have my other younger brother fighting by my side”. A third pillow is thrown at Jon from the direction of Josh.
“We are twins, and you are only older by 8 minutes”.
Never a dull moment where the Fatu boys are concerned.

First day of filming (TD Interview Segment)
Okay, so lets start with a basic intro okay? Ready, go!
The room falls silent the light shines bright on me, I have at least 6 pair of eyes on me, goading me into starting. Gosh why did I sign up to do this!!!
Hi there, my names yn, I am currently on the Smackdown roster and I am the current WWE Women’s Champion.
I’ve been with the WWE for 6 years now and I wouldn’t have survived if it wasn’t for my adoptive sister Trinity, she took me under her wing and I’ve been there ever since. As you guys know – and if you didn't know, the accent should be a huge giveaway, I’m originally from the United Kingdom, I came to the states with a dream in hand and no one there to help me through this bumpy ride. I can never repay her or Jon for the way they have accepted and welcomed me into their little dynamic. Although, travelling the world with Jon and Josh is hard work, they boys are chaotic, I don't know how Trin managed to do it herself for so long!
• ❃°•°❀°•°❃•❃°•°❀°•°❃•❃°•°❀°•°❃•❃°•°❀°•°❃•
Friday Night Smackdown, Atlanta Georgia, 8 weeks before Survivor Series
Walking into the arena for Smackdown I get a message from Hunter asking to meet him in his office. A mixture of anxiety and curiosity fill in the pit of my stomach. In his office I’m met with the familiar faces of Jon, Josh, and Joseph, smiling I look over to Hunter who invites me to sit.
“I got your message, what’s up?
“We have been toying with the idea of a cross brand rivalry - for Survivor Series. Now that Joe has come up to the main roster, we think the Usos and Solo v The Judgement Day would pique interest from the WWE universe.”
“So why am I here?”
“Demi is the Women’s World Champion and part of Judgment Day; it would only seem right that she faces the Women’s Champion”.
Without hesitation I accept. Hunter debriefs us on how it’s going to play out over the next few weeks. We will have to be on both RAW and Smackdown over the next few weeks, so looks like it will be me and the brothers travelling together since Trin is exclusive to Smackdown!
Gorilla, few hours later (TD segment)
Tonight, I have a singles match, however Demi has to interfere and cost me the match – thus starting our road to Survivor Series.
I see Hunter in his usual place over at the screens with his headset on talking to Randy Orton, Randy spots me and immediately comes over to me.
“There’s my favourite girl.”
“I wouldn’t let your wife hear you say that Randy”.
Randy Orton, he is exactly how you would imagine him to be, a cocky little shit, flirtatious as hell, a menace but he has a heart of gold. Many nights we would hit the gym together and training with him before his injury really improved my in-ring ability. He is another one I would call my family away from family.
A familiar scent fills my nostrils, Josh. He stands next to me wrapping his arm around me pulling me closer, as if to stake his claim in me.
“I’ve been looking for you, come on let’s go”.
I smile apologetically at Randy, he just waves me off laughing, as much as I say people don’t know anything about me and Josh, it’s not to say there isn’t rumours flying around, people have their own take on it, and that’s okay, we just laugh it off.
Trin and Jon (TD Interview segment)
“You see yn and josh think they are so slick hiding their little late-night rendezvous” says Jon
Trin sighing, “I just wish they would bang their heads together and realise they are meant to be. Think of the double dates we could finally have Jon.”
Jon’s laugh fills the small interview room, “yeah it would be sweet, and yn is already like family, it would be an easy transition.”
Away from the cameras
“What were you talking to Randy about?” Josh quizzes
“Nothing, you came in and ushered me away before I could say anything.”
“Good, I don’t like it when you get attention from other guys, just me, okay?”
“I think you’ll find Josh that I can speak to who I like”. I say frustrated with his behaviour.
You see as much as I love Josh, this, this right here the way he wants to have his cake and eat it too drives me insane. I so much as look at another guy and he is right there to remind me I’m his, yet he can look at and speak to as many girls and I can’t say shit.
“I’ve got a match to get to, I’ll see you later J.”
“Goodluck out there baby girl, not that you need it.” Before he can come any closer to me, I slip out the room and let my frustrated sigh out. How much longer am I going to keep torturing myself.

seeing pwhl ottawa play on ice with the 67s logo in the center just make me... justifyably mad. like damn, this city now has FOUR pro or semi pro hockey teams (NHL-Senetors, PWHL-Ottawa, P(provincial)WHL-Lady Senators, and OHL-Ottawa 67s), playing at three different locations, and the NCC is still holding out hope that the Sens will sign on to build that new arena in Lebreton Flats, but until they do, PWHL Ottawa will never have its own home, they will continuously be playing on the 67s ice at TD place, or they will be playing on the Sens ice at the Canadian Tire Center, because well.. they aren't going to join the Lady Sens at the Sensplex, because well..... they aren't sens. AND LIKE.... YEAH, PWHL Ottawa doesnt even have a real logo yet, but... like. GIVE THEM ICE!!!!!!! so HEY SENS, DON'T LEAVE THE NCC HANGING AND SIGN ON FOR THE LEBRETON ARENA!!!!!!! I DON'T CARE HOW LONG IT TAKES, I WANT TO SEE PWHL OTTAWA HAVE THEIR OWN LOGO ON ICE!!!!!

World Men's Curling Championship: Scotland topple hosts Canada for gold medal 🥇 Scotland are world champions for the first time since 2009.
Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 clinched the World Men's Curling Championship gold in a dominant victory over hosts Canada 🇨🇦
Fourteen years on from their last title, the Scots led from the second end and were in control en route to a 9-3 win at Ottowa's TD Place Arena.
Tumblr media
Mouat's team of Grant Hardie, Bobby Lammie and Hammy McMillan, who needed a tense extra end to edge past Italy in the last four, now add world gold to their current European title and Olympic silver medal.
Tumblr media
The team is going to keep going to try to get to the next Olympics and hopefully recreate something like what they did today. That's the goal for all of them and it's exactly why they're still together right now.
Switzerland 🇨🇭 took bronze after beating Italy 🇮🇹 11-3.
Well done @TeamMouat 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏆World Champions. #WMCC2023 🥌🥌🥌

HFAN: Sabrina Carpenter's ‘Short n’ Sweet’ is Here: A Milestone Album from a Pop Powerhouse
Tumblr media
Sabrina Carpenter has unveiled her highly anticipated new album, Short n’ Sweet, now available via Island Records. This album is a testament to Carpenter’s showstopping vocals and sharp songwriting skills, solidifying its place as one of the most awaited releases of 2024. With Short n’ Sweet, Carpenter brings a fitting close to a landmark year, crafting a collection that feels both intimately personal and universally relatable. The album boasts 12 tracks co-written with a powerhouse team including Amy Allen, Julia Michaels, and Steph Jones, alongside the production talents of John Ryan, Julian Bunetta, and Jack Antonoff. The result is a richly diverse yet remarkably cohesive body of work, showcasing Carpenter's evolution as both a singer and a songwriter. Short n’ Sweet is already making waves with two major hits propelling its success. Carpenter made history by becoming the first female artist to top the Billboard Global 200 and Global Ex-US charts simultaneously with two different songs: the infectious “Espresso” and the heartfelt “Please Please Please.” The latter, produced by Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen, also became Carpenter’s first #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Notably, “Espresso” dominated Top 40 radio for three consecutive weeks and quickly amassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the third fastest song to reach that milestone. Critics from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times all touted “Espresso” as a strong contender for the song of the summer, with the track scaling to the top of Spotify's Global, US, and UK charts. In the UK, Carpenter joined the ranks of artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Ed Sheeran by simultaneously holding the #1 and #2 spots on the UK chart for five consecutive weeks. She’s also spent a total of 12 weeks at #1 on the UK Singles Chart this year. Adding to her cultural impact, Carpenter starred in an official 2024 NBC Olympics commercial, further cementing her status as a pop culture icon. Carpenter’s momentum continues as she prepares for the North American leg of her Short n’ Sweet Tour, starting on September 23rd in Columbus. The 33-date arena tour sold out rapidly and will include stops in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Toronto, and Austin. Supporting acts Amaarae, Griff, and Declan McKenna will join her on this journey. Carpenter has also partnered with PLUS1 to launch the Sabrina Carpenter Fund, dedicated to supporting mental health, animal welfare, and the LGBTQ+ community. With Short n’ Sweet, Sabrina Carpenter not only reaffirms her place at the top of the pop world but also showcases her commitment to using her platform for positive change. ✨ Cruel Summer ✨
Part 2
pairing: Solo Sikoa x reader, Jey Uso × reader (briefly)
AN: If you’d like tagged, let me know 💖
⚠️ Warnings: 18+ , swearing, violence (this is the WWE after all) slight smut, infidelity (if you squint), jealous Jey, toxic behaviour, bad/embarrassing writing ⚠️
doesn't follow a specific timeline however it is more recent, total divas making a return.
✨ Said I’m fine but it wasn’t true, I don’t want to keep secrets just to keep you ✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The match was going off without a hitch, I had Charlotte in a headlock ready to execute my finisher when I’m taken down from behind by Rhea, the plan was for her to beat me down then escape through the crowd laughing and holding her title up high, I sold the beat down like a pro and the heat she was getting was phenomenal. Corey Graves and Michael Cole were doing their part on commentary making this look like a sickening attack, though as per his character Corey was doing his best to be a little shit that he is and side with the heel superstar. Smackdown ended with me out cold in the middle of the ring. What a way to kick off this rivalry.
Backstage, Gorilla
Back in the gorilla I’m met with hunter.
“Amazing job out there yn!”
“I’m afraid that was all Demi, I just followed her lead.”
A thick Aussie accent fills the gorilla.
“Nah, don’t sell yourself short yn, I wouldn’t have been able to look half as good if your selling of the beat down wasn’t as great.”
I’ve finally come face to face with demi, her aura radiates confidence and raw sex appeal.
“Okay ladies, you both did good.” Hunter states “but now, we have to incorporate the Uso’s into this, so next week on Smackdown the Judgement Day will meet the Uso’s.”
There is a real buzz backstage about this upcoming Smackdown. I just hope it’s something that the fans can really sink their teeth into.
Tumblr media
Yn interview (TD segment)
“I always try and look at social media after a match, everyone things I’m crazy but honestly I need to know how it’s coming across to the fans.”
“If something isn’t working or isn’t believable you best believe the WWE universe will make their opinions known.”
Yn picks up her phone and goes into twitter.
“See, look at these comments.”
Mami vs yn????? TAKE MY MONEY NOW #smackdown #wwe
Mami stepping all over yn, me next jkjkjk unless👀 @RheaRipley_WWE #smackdown
Rhea why????? What did yn do to you :( #wwesmackdown
My two favourite woman beefing 😭 this will go down as the greatest rivalry ever!!!!!!!!!! #wwe #smackdown
“Okay, yeah some are a bit more extreme than others, but it shows that what we are doing, the story we are trying to tell is getting over with the fans. I just hope the Uso’s and Judgement Day can pull it out the bag too.”
Tumblr media
The next day after I’m on television, I always wake up to messages from family and friends congratulating, consoling or just trying to get details out of me about what’s happening next, but my lips are sealed.
If I don’t see Jon, Trin or Josh before leaving the arena I always have multiple messages from them too, and today was no different.
J 💖
Get yo ass ready, we going for breakfast
Or we could stay in and I’ll have breakfast 👀
Did you get message?
You better be getting ready!!!!
I’m leaving now
Yn?
*10 missed calls J 💖*
Shit.
As I’m getting up, I hear banging from the other side of my hotel room, I don’t have to guess what, or who is making that noise. Opening the door, I’m greeted with an unamused Josh.
“Why didn’t you answer my calls or texts? I thought something had happened to you!”
“Well as you can see, I’m fine, so if you don’t mind, I need to get ready for breakfast.”
As I turn to walk away, I’m pulled into the familiar arms of his, my forbidden safe place. If Josh knew I was harbouring these feelings for him, this would all stop, and I could potentially lose him and I’m not ready for that.
Whispering into my ear he says the one thing I’ve been desperate to hear:
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m sorry for yesterday and the way I acted when you were talking with Orton, I know he’s just a friend but fuck, I hate when other men talk to my girl.”
“Your girl? So, are you mine then too?” I say sarcastically, knowing his answer.
He smirks “You know all this can’t be tied down.”
As much as we have had this conversation before, and I already knew his answer - it hurt but I couldn’t let him see that.
“Exactly Josh, so how about we cut the bullshit and call this for what it is? Two friends having fun.”
He spins me around and lifts my chin so I’m looking at him, his eyes dark and fiery – he was pissed.
“Okay, lets call it for what it is, you are mine.”
His large soft lips engulf my own, filling my body with the same euphoric feeling I always get with him.
“Now go get ready, Trin and Jon are waiting for us.”
At Breakfast (TD Segment)
“Hey girl, you took your time.”
“Ay did my brother try keep you from us AGAIN?”
“Trin, I overslept and Jon no one can keep me from you guys.” I say sitting next to Trin.
No matter what I’m going through, being with my family always makes me feel better. My happy place.
“Ya’ll mind if I sit?”
Joseph Fatu. As much as we run in the same circles, I’ve only ever met him once and that was in Hunters office. From what Trin and the boys have told me he’s quiet at first, but when he warms up, he is truly a special soul.
“Sit yo ass down, you aint gotta ask uce.”
I can see the Fatu resemblance. The dark mysterious eyes, the infectious smile and in contrast the brooding stare. These boys have good genes. My eyes start to wonder to the ink across his arms, studying each piece as if I was an art enthusiast. Looking back up I see his eyes are already on me with the signature Fatu stare, I smile and return to my conversation with Trin, hoping he hadn’t realised how long id been staring.
Unbeknownst to me, the waitress that had been serving us had been making heart eyes at Josh the entire time, and he had noticed this. Whether it was to get back at me for speaking up earlier or Josh being Josh, he started flirting with her at the table, she was over exaggerating her laugh and he was pulling out all the usual material that worked on these types of women. Watching him flirting wasn’t something knew and normally I wouldn’t bother much, however they exchanged numbers and arranged to meet up tonight. My stomach became heavy, and I felt like I was going to throw up, my heart was breaking once again and the cause? Josh Fatu.
Tumblr media
Trin and Jon interview (TD segment)
“I love my brother deeply, but he is such an idiot.”
“Flirting with another girl right when yn is sitting at the table? That’s messed up.”
“Yeah Jon, your right your brother is an idiot. How could he do that to her?”
Tumblr media
My eyes begin to sting as I excuse myself. This behaviour is nothing knew but each time it happened it took a little piece of me. Why did I have to fall in love with him of all people?!

With Short n’ Sweet, Sabrina Carpenter not only reaffirms her place at the top of the pop world but also showcases her commitment to using her platform for positive change. the sun players deserve to play in a full arena like boston every game, honestly makes me kind of sad that they have to go back to connecticut now
Yeah
I read this article today https://www.ctinsider.com/sports/article/connecticut-sun-boston-td-garden-game-wnba-19663608.php
Which talks about the facilities, future, etc (Alyssa Thomas is interviewed) and it reminds me of this conversation that nwsl Reddit had once upon a time. Basically the Houston dash and Chicago red stars are still nwsl 1.0 teams whereas KC spirit thorns are nwsl 2.0 (in terms of marketing, crowds, and management)
The part in the interview where the owners said basically we used to be on the high end of facilities but everything has gotten better across the league …. It’s interesting to think about the merc in comparison (granted very different ownership structures) … the way people talk about the merc, they had the crowds before anyone else did and now you have teams with famous draft picks … etc… the difference of course being the merc org (mat etc) have invested (the new practice facility) and the sun don’t have priority at a practice space.
That being said I think the ownership of the sun is really cool and unique and there are opportunities in ct, they just have to invest
New England sports are interesting of course bc they have the strongest fan bases in the world (and honestly the men’s teams are cooler than a lot of other places) like the sports identity is so strong… I didn’t even follow them but I can still name the famous guys from the 4 Boston teams
It’s hard to say that the team wouldn’t benefit from a move to Boston from a management and talent attraction/retention perspective (as alluded to in the article). That being said AT has been there for 10 years and on quick glance, she’s the only one from that draft class who’s stayed where she was drafted (it feels like kinda a bygone era)
The tough thing is that I don’t think the league would put an expansion team in Boston if the sun stay where they are .. and Boston has been lacking in women’s sports for a while (obv pwhl Boston now exists and nwsl Boston is coming back) but New England gets the short end of the stick on so much bc the states aren’t “big” (actually the density of the northeast corridor -dc to boston- gets the region ripped off when it comes to women’s teams. Because despite being dense areas with passionate fans boston and Philly don’t have teams “oh it’s too close to dc and ny” “oh well the whole league can’t be on the east coast we have to give every city in California an expansion team first”

Justin Timberlake Adds Humor to Controversy Over Recent DUI Incident at Boston Concert
Tumblr media
Justin Timberlake, the renowned Grammy Award-winning singer, recently injected humor into a serious situation by addressing his recent drink-driving arrest during a concert in Boston. The incident took place in Sag Harbor, New York, where Timberlake was stopped for reportedly failing to adhere to traffic signs and maintain his lane while driving his BMW. According to official reports, officers noted concerning signs such as his bloodshot and glassy eyes, and the strong smell of alcohol on his breath. Gage Skidmore, CC BY-SA 2.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0, via Wikimedia Commons The incident has sparked significant media attention and public interest, with a video circulating on social media capturing Timberlake's onstage remark at Boston's TD Garden arena. In the video, Timberlake playfully quipped to the audience, "Is there anyone here that is driving, no I'm just kidding," which elicited a mix of laughter and applause from his fans. This lighthearted response contrasts sharply with the seriousness of his legal situation. Despite the controversy, Timberlake has vehemently denied the allegations through his legal representatives, emphasizing his commitment to vigorously defend himself in court. The 43-year-old artist, originally gaining fame as a member of the pop group NSYNC, has continued with his tour across the United States, undeterred by the ongoing legal proceedings. His upcoming performances are scheduled in several major cities, including Baltimore, Cleveland, and Lexington, with plans to extend his tour to the United Kingdom in August, where he is set to perform in Birmingham, Manchester, and London. This incident marks a challenging period for Timberlake, who previously hinted at the personal impact during a performance in Chicago by acknowledging, "it's been a tough week." As he navigates through these legal challenges, Timberlake remains focused on his music career and the support of his loyal fanbase, determined to carry on with his scheduled tour dates and performances around the globe. The Sun is out, finally and the work is done, finally again.
I hear a British accent and I see plants, it’s a cafe on Larchmont Boulevard in Los Angeles.
A winner.
I hope this year’s Presidential election is as surprising as Porzingis’ performance at game 1 of the NBA finals: unbelievably real, honest and effective.
He was a game changer.
Nothing worse than manipulated elections, eh? Imagine having 100% fair elections to spin our heads with joy like the crowd at the TD Garden Arena when Porzingis started to play. What a winner, what joy, the place went bananas.
Have real voters vote. One vote each. Everyone voting.
I hope the 2024 election is that sweet.
And sweet weekend. The gates have opened and I’m off to the races.
Enjoy yours!
