Very hilarious that the original guy who was going to play the hero in Scared to Death dropped out the night before shooting over the phone because he didn't want to miss his acting classes much to William Malone's dismay. Mind boggling that he chose that when this movie was the very thing he was studying to do.

Swipe File #3: Drakula ve Kurt Adama Karşi (1990s Turkish release of Santo y Blue Demon contra Drácula y el Hombre Lobo)
Where to begin? First, “George Rivero” (aka Jorge Rivero) doesn’t appear in this film. Rivero did co-star with Santo in 2 movies, but not this one. Blue Demon (unbilled on this poster) did.
Now let’s get to the “swipes” part.
The main character image was taken from the original Mexican poster for Los Jaguares vs. el invasor misterioso (a 1973 Colombian-Mexican co-production) which starred masked wrestlers El Jaguar de Colombia, and Los Jaguares. The image of El Jaguar de Colombia on the poster is clearly Jack Kirby-inspired: I can’t find an exact match for the pose, so for the moment this will be “in the style of Jack Kirby,” rather than an actual swipe. This image was recreated by an unidentified artist for the Spanish release poster (which actually has better art than the Mexican one). When the Turkish distributor ordered up their poster, the artist lifted the character’s image from the Mexican original (never mind that El Jaguar de Colombia isn’t in the movie and looks nothing like El Santo). Not sure why they couldn’t find any suitable image of Santo, who was known in Turkey.
Christopher Lee as Dracula. I guess this makes sense.
Unidentified photo of a screaming woman.
The “wolfman” photo is from the 1982 Don Post mask catalog – Timberwolf (Grey).
The “3 scary monsters” image comes from pre-production marketing for Syngenor (1990), which was conceived as a semi-sequel to Scared to Death (1980) – actually the only connection is the monster, which was deliberately patterned after the one in the earlier movie. I was unable to find any indication that Syngenor (which appears to have gone direct to video) was actually released as Scared to Death II, and I was also unable to find this same “3 monster” image in other formats (video box, etc.), although that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. [The image shown here comes from The Bloody Pit of Horror: https://thebloodypitofhorror.blogspot.com/2014/02/syngenor-1990.html]

I like how you stumbled into the "Xenomorph knockoff" visual design concept so prominent that it literally has a TVTropes page, which relates to a fan hypothesis of mine in regards to that that you can feel free to use if it fits your concept.
Namely, it's derived a bit from the Black Goo from Prometheus, and the idea that the Black Goo was not the first embodiment of that, but rather it was the expression of a genetic principle that keeps showing up in places produced from or; more often; inspired by unknown sources, an "idea" of xenomorph-ness that keeps showing up.
And that "idea" is what keeps producing Xenomorph knockoffs, compelling either science or the principles of evolution itself to bring itself into being. Sil, Leviathan, the monster from Forbidden World, the thing from Titan Find, the Syngenor, the Red Falcon from Contra, ectcetera, all from that living concept of the Black Goo.
Basically a combo of @bogleech's Platonic Forms-y "concept core" idea with carcination as a semi-sapient force if you get me?
IDK if you'd find it useful for what you're going for, but I may as well plant the seeds of that idea...
Ok, so, that person who called me a coward for not using my power as an independent amateur novelist with an audience of perhaps a few dozen readers at most to make Xenomorph romance a mainstream literature genre may have planted a worm of a thought in my head. Just a little brood parasite, burrowing into my brain meats, whispering, "What if you did write a xenomorph romance, though?" And I figured hey, why not, that's worth a few sketches.
...but then I got invested.
...anyway I might be filing the serial numbers off this idea and doing something with it, IDK.

I love old movies because it’ll show something and be like this is the future and it’ll look like this
Like if I fucking saw that I would absolutely not be like “ah cool the future, this thing will be good” I would immediately be like I’m in the fucking apocalypse
(This image is from Syngenor btw)
#seriously old movies will talk about some creation and how it’s the future#and it will be the most disturbing fucking thing you’ve ever seen#or will absolutely look like something that in no timeline could ever be good#there’s plenty of movies this applies to but I’m watching Syngenor right now so it gets to be the example of the supposed future#the future that absolutely looks the opposite of good#syngenor
