I know a lot of people already said this but same, I'd like to see WISE, especially Twilight, to have a hard time against Wheeler this time around. WISE/Twilight are always 10 steps ahead of their game but unlike the doggie crisis where they were up against amateur college students and the hospital director where it was predictable he would rat him out to the SSS, Wheeler here is also a professional spy and a skilled one as they didn't find out that he was actually a double agent until now so I kinda want him to give them a challenge

I really like the mystery female sss character design ( and her eyes look kinda a 🐱 so it’s opposite to Yuri as a 🐶). Based on her interaction with Yuri in chapter 81, she seems a little more carefree than him, which his is more serious. She seems to be a new recruit and under Yuri unit, too.

And Yuri boss now has to babysit these “kids” under the sss care now. Her dynamic with Yuri would be fun to watch because it’s could be a fun dynamic like Yuri with Anya.

Anime only watchers and people who aren't caught up with the Manga, BEWARE... Cuz I'm about to discuss Spy X Family Mission 81... You have been warned...! 👌

[SPOILERS AHEAD FROM THIS POINT ON]

OH MY GOODNESS! 😱 THIS CHAPTER WAS SHORT BUT INTENSE!!

And my nerves are still getting to after reading it... So let's talk about it shall we...?

After some really cool action sequences, we are finally introduced to the mole...!!:

Winston Wheeler, a man from the Communication Division that made a very scary (but great) first impression on me...!! 😲 (And though I originally thought that the mole was gonna be someone that we already knew... After finding out that there was a translation error in the last chapter, I kinda just figured that the mole would be a new character after awhile... 🤷 I just didn't expect him to be this cool and yet, VERY FRIGHTENING to me...! 😅)

Moving on, one of our favorite agents without a proper name, Agent Mustache (as I like to call him) gives us the details about where Wheeler is meeting up with the SSS...:

Twilight is obviously quite determined to stop Wheeler (who he has worked with before) from giving that file to SSS; while on the other hand, Nightfall gives her two cents on the serious matter at hand...:

And oh boy, Twilight's response to Nightfall is CLEARLY giving me the vibe of saying without saying to her: "I'm not ready to leave MY MISSION FAMILY behind just yet...! So BACK OFF!!" 😡 (my interpretation, of course...! 😌)

After that, we see Yuri and the rest of the other SSS agents arrive at their destination:

And we learn that this mission was not signed off on:

We go back to WISE's agents and Agent Mustache gives everyone the rundown of what each one of them will be doing, including Twilight, who has to shall the SSS from meeting up with Wheeler...:

...But on the next page, we see that Wheeler has just gotten a phone call from a mystery person...:

I don't know who could be on that other line, but whoever it may be (the SSS, another mole from WISE, or even Garden possibly), it can't be good... 😥

After that, Wheeler is shown surveying the area on top of the roof before he heads down and meets up with Yuri:

And personally, as of right now, I don't I think that's Wheeler talking to Yuri... I think that that's Twilight...! 😤

Sure, the line about the green tie with the gemstone tiepin made me THINK that it's actually him, but what is Twilight's mission right now...: TO STALL THE SSS!! And we all know that Twilight is no slouch when it comes to disguises (unless it's to disguise Franky as a woman 😖), so I am 98 percent sure that Twilight is the one sending the SSS to the park!! (But, I'm still not 100% on it though...! 🤷)

And finally, after Agent Mustache and Nightfall notice that Wheeler hasn't shown up yet (making me believe EVEN MORE the Wheeler that talked to Yuri was Twilight), we see Wheeler meet up with this not-so-gentle man:

And that was Mission 81, and like said in the beginning... THIS CHAPTER WAS SUPER INTENSE!! 😱

Man, I don't know what else to say... This arc is already off to a great start, and I'm excited and a bit nervous to see what happens next...!! 😵 But for now, I feel like need I to take breather after this chapter today...!

Given that the current Ostanian administration doesn't seem to have sanctioned this current SSS operation, I can't help but wonder if they'll eventually take some action against them. Garden seems to be aligned with the current administration, so it's entirely possible that Thorn Princess could be sent after whoever authorized this mission in time. I'm trying to not get my hopes up, but given that they're going against the current admin it's also within the realm of reason that Thorn Princess could be sent after Wheeler. Admittedly, that may be more likely to happen down the line if Wheeler sticks around. Maybe I'm just not ready to let go of the idea of Garden getting involved this arc...

It’s 5 a.m. here, and my brain decided to wake me up for this bullshit.

When I saw Wheeler, the new spy, I thought “hmmm… have I seen this character design somewhere?” but dismissed it as absurd.

Then, yesterday I saw this post from @cinnamon-guardian​, and squinted, yeah, that eyebrows looks awfully familiar. But Piccolo doesn’t have enough siliar features with Wheeler, I still NOT got it. But the seed has been planted.

And after all the background search around my brain did all night, you know what it spat back out to me just now?

This nonsense.

Well… here is Wheeler.

And here is the guy my brain insisted that was his long-lost twin from a whole different show. Y’all, meet Android 16 from the Dragonball Z.

Ok? And? What do I want to say with this information?

I understand that they are short-handed, but this suggests that from Westalis they were left alone

Ohohohoooooo....

A chapter start out immediately with action.

So, Wheeler.....

Finally we get to see an agent who is (I think) the same calliber as Twilight.

And Twilight himself had once cooperate with him in the past

What is this double agent speciality??? He is quite good in blending in, if WISE HQ doesn't recognize him right away.

And it is interesting that SSS operates without the authority of higher ups.

So it is either this new goverment never approved of SSS but has yet to have enough power to disband this division, a.k.a SSS is still under authority of previous govt a.k.a Donovan Desmond.

Or, as per usual practice, the Govt never want to be involved in "dirty" operation. They always want to be look as clean and good. So if this operation failed, there will be no trace to them. But if this operation succeeded, they want the result for them too. Usual politician practice everywhere, tbh. 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, moving on.... it is interesting to see Nightfall still want Operation Strix to end.

Is she Desmond's agent or what? (I'm joking... I'm joking....)

Actually this is Nightfall being professional here. Should everything go south, agents are to abandon any mission and went hiding.

But Twilight downright said "No."

Purely for the mishun??? Or is there something else? 😏😏

He is starting to sound unprofessional here.

On the other hand, should the files contains any photograph of Anya or Yor, will Twilight take this mission as something more personal?

Will he finally showing that protectiveness side of him??

How will this arc relate to previous drunk Yor with gripes and all marriage problems??

How can Endo tie up serious arc with TwiYor silliness??

Or will we finally saw some development between Twilight and Yuri relationship???

And last but not least...

Where is Twilight? Who is he posing as??

Is he Wheeler ?

Is he the SSS agent on the right?

Is he the top left one, top right one, the kid, or even Fiona???

Btw, if the files really contains Anya and Yor pic, I think it will be very interesting details should her pics are always blurry. I mean, Yor can also sense if she's being followed. And it is a common thing that Garden operatives may not have their photograph being recorded anywhere, I guess.

On a joking side, if this is Twilight in disguise.... then I hope Yuri isn't jolted in surprise for being caught reading adult magazine here 🤣🤣🤣 (that's obviously not an adult magazine. And even if it is, he's 20 y.o.) 🤣🤣
