OMG I'M DYING FROM THIS. 😂 It's time for a Gen-X deep cut of nerdery.

I'm a big fan of the 1986 TV series Starman, which was a continuation of the 1984 movie with Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen. IMO it's aged well (both the movie and the show). Good acting, writing, and production values. The TV show is generally family-friendly 80s, so don't expect anything edgy. There's some good social commentary, though.

Why am I telling you this in a Tuvok reblog? Because I first saw Tim Russ as a guest star in a Starman TV episode. When I saw him as Tuvok years later, I said, "Hey, that's Tyrone, the pimp from that one ep of Starman!" Paul (the alien in the TV series) got thrown in jail for double parking and unwittingly arguing with the cop who told him to move, IIRC. Tyrone was his cellmate. He's really funny.

My dayjob beckons, so I'll try to find some screencaps later today.

If anyone thinks they can get Fresh to drink any unrad intoxicants at all, they should think again. If his Swiggidy Swag Soda is ever spiked at all, no matter how it happened, whether he was nearby when it happened or not, he always Knows. He knows when it happened, how it happened, why it happened, and who all was involved.

The drink gets disposed of properly, and he gets a new one, before paying a visit to whoever the little culprit may be, and teaches them a good ol’ Family Friendly Lesson on the dangers of intoxicants and why doin’ such sinful things without other’s knowledge n’ consent is totes unrad, dawg!
