Having asteroid Erben (40106) prominent in SR chart indicates a year when you're gonna inherit money. Whether it's from one of your parents, your spouse or somebody else, only the chart will tell (but of course, for additional info always compare it to your Natal chart!)

joined the British Army as a pharmacy captain after a two year pharmacy residency in a London hospital
she realized that working at a local chemists and in a hospital weren’t for her so she decided on the career change
speaking of her life before being a pharmacy captain, she was a good student — not at the bottom but not at the top
she primarily struggled with anything related to pharmacology but excelled with therapeutics and counseling
her blood type is O- (a universal blood donor)
before becoming a pharmacist, she had aspirations of becoming a linguist or historian
was amazing at picking up languages and learning them after some time
but she was drawn to pharmacy after seeing how it helped a close family friend who had an MRSA resistant infection
knows 10 different languages and counting (with varying speaking and writing fluency) - English obvi, Spanish, Mandarin, Greek, Latin, Russian, Arabic, Swedish, German, French, and is currently learning Portuguese
loves taking walks and runs at the base gym (she has to get in her recommended 150min of exercise a week)
if you think she’s listening to music while exercising you’re wrong, she’s listening to podcasts and always loves the medicine focused ones
always will show up to military balls or formal events and talk to you about anything under the sun
loves interacting with people 1 on 1 rather than behind a pharmacy counter

one time, she met a linguist and after the initial awkwardness (she thought the pharmacist was hitting on her), they had a whole conversation about the nuances of languages
if you know her well, you’ll notice how she deflects the conversation onto you and talking abt yourself as she loves observing
Gaz and Ghost frustrate her at times as she finds herself revealing things she normally won’t tell patients
despite the health risk, she loves caffeine and always has an energy drink or cup of coffee during the day
her diet is completely different, she prefers to prepare things in her room or look for the best things in the mess hall (she needs a balanced diet)
her bookshelves in her room are filled with books in a variety of languages and are often history books or classics
she also is currently reading a book that details the history of women in medicine
she has pictures in her room which show her happiest times aka being in pharmacy school
carries a large water bottle with her at all times and her tech’s have to remind her to stay hydrated during a shift
her techs are basically her siblings and she likes to take them off base occasionally to chat about something different than drugs and immunizations
her drink of choice is a tequila sunrise because tequila is the only alcohol that isn’t a depressant and also orange juice is a great source of Vit C!
her second drink of choice is a penicillin
wants to be a professor when she retires and dreams of teaching about self-care recommendations and emergency medicine
has a small tattoo of a mortar and pestle on her forearm, she got it with some of her friends when they all graduated
her tech joked that she should get a notepad tattooed on her wrist because she always writes reminders on her arms
primarily lives on base and occasionally visits her parents who live in Brighton
she updates them weekly but they know their daughter is in one of the safest places in the UK
her favorite drug to administer are any antimalarials, eye drops, nasal spray, and inhalers (she loves that she just has to count the boxes)
her least favorite is Metformin and thyroid drugs as they often are in counts of 90 or 180
constantly uses pink pen and colorful sticky notes (peep her little notes in the medical files)
the reason she hates doctors is not because of anything significant but because of an ex that told her that her degree was irrelevant because she didn’t go to med school
hates the stigma against pharmacists, in the US they’re literally considered doctors so why is there such disrespect?
she’ll never admit it but her favorite patients are the 141, they all have such unique personalities that she constantly looks for their scripts every morning

The asteroid was named on May 14, 1995 after the Swedish chemist and inventor Alfred Nobel (1833-1896), who invented dynamite , developed a method for safely handling nitroglycerin and donated the Nobel Prize named after him.

Nitroglycerin was first invented by Italian chemist Ascanio Sobrero (1812–1888) in 1846. In its natural liquid state, nitroglycerin is very volatile. Nobel understood this and in 1866 discovered that mixing nitroglycerin with silica would turn the liquid into a malleable paste called dynamite
.
Alfred Nobel was an inventor, entrepreneur, scientist and businessman who also wrote poetry and drama. His varied interests are reflected in the prize he established and which he lay the foundation for in 1895 when he wrote his last will, leaving much of his wealth to the establishment of the prize.

Oh, and flame throwers were meant to originally be used as an intimidation weapon! Sick, right? But it wasn't designed to kill the enemy, instead to clear out hard to reach areas like bunkers or tunnels.

Today, we are learning about Johan Gottschalk Wallerius. Say that three times fast.

Wallerius was a Swedish chemist and mineralogist. While not Beyonce famous, he did make huge contributions to the geologic sciences, specifically in mineralogy. While working in the mining district, he collected over 4,000 mineral and rock specimens. After many years, he compiled his observations into a book, Mineralogia eller Mineralriket (Mineralogia or the Mineral Kingdom). He published it in 1747 and it soon became the standard by which minerals were identified. He officially names hundreds of minerals including, you guessed it, feldspar!

Chemistry behind matches

In the 20th century, matches were a necessity in our daily lives. The earliest friction matches were invented in 1826 by British chemist and pharmacist John Walker. The match heads were made from a mixture of antimony sulfide, potassium chlorate, gum, and starch, which would ignite when scraped on sandpaper. To increase the stability of matches, in 1930 French chemist Charles Sauria replaced antimony sulfide with white phosphorus, a formula that was quickly popularized. However, white phosphorus also brought more serious problems—it could spontaneously ignite at a room temperature of 34°C and was highly toxic, leading to severe occupational diseases among match factory workers known as "phossy jaw," where their jaws would ulcerate and perforate.
In 1844, Swedish inventor Gustaf Erik Pasch replaced white phosphorus with the safer and more stable red phosphorus, inventing the "safety match." Red phosphorus was applied to the side of the matchbox, separated from the oxidizers like potassium chlorate on the match head. Therefore, the match would only ignite when rubbed on the specially designed phosphorus surface, greatly enhancing safety and accelerating the popularization of matches. However, due to high costs, safety matches were not mass-produced until a decade later.

Swedish pharmacy bans sale of anti-ageing skincare to children (Miranda Bryant, The Guardian, March 20 2024)
"A leading chain of Swedish chemists is introducing age restrictions on anti-ageing skincare amid rising concerns across Europe over the potentially damaging effects on children of their turning to such products prematurely.
Apotek Hjärtat, which has about 390 pharmacies in Sweden, is to stop selling “advanced skin care” products (including the ingredients AHA acid, BHA acid, vitamin A, vitamin C and enzyme peeling) to customers under 15 unless they have parental consent or a relevant skin condition.
It comes amid reports of a skincare boom among children in Sweden aged under 13, driven by social media.
One beauty chain told broadcaster SVT that 20-40% of its customers are now aged under 13.
Anecdotal accounts indicate growing numbers of children across Europe – including those as young as 10 in the UK – are also turning to expensive anti-ageing skincare in pursuit of more “youthful” skin, many influenced by what they have seen on apps like TikTok.
Experts fear the craze could be having a detrimental physical impact on such young skin and are concerned about the psychological impact of children obsessing over ageing.
The European Commission last year announced plans to limit the concentration of retinol in over-the-counter products from June to cut potential overexposure to vitamin A, which regulators have linked to skin disorders and weakened bones."

A Little Company with Big Bad Wolf
[Remington "Espion" Harmonics & Emil "Fenrir" Svensson]
Summary: It seems that the new guy was having difficulty blending in with the team, and Espion decided she wanted to befriend him by helping him with his lab work.
A/N: I blacked out and woke up with this fic, what the fuck.
It’s been a week since Fenrir arrived at Rainbow’s main HQ at Hereford.
Reth liked the codename that the new guy chose for himself. Fenrir from the fabled Norse legend stories, a wolf that could devour both heaven and earth alike and cause massive apocalyptic events. Feared for his name and reputation, how the ol’ wolf got despised by gods and mortals alike.
Except, this new operator feels like he’d topple down if she nudged him slightly, probably.
Fenrir, or Emil as his real name, doesn’t talk as much. He was shunned by almost half of the team, and the rest either offered him friendship or avoided interacting much with him. An overworked man who barely even sleeps in his own room and prefers to rest on his messy desk, observation papers written in Swedish scattered across the surface of his workbench. He eats almost alone most of the time in the cafeteria, with the exception of either Kapkan or Stena would sit together with him and keep the chemist company.
[There was a moment when she heard Nomad talking to Kaid in Arabic during training, and she thought it was just a normal conversation. But as soon as she heard Fenrir and Thermite’s names in there, she figured out they were talking shit.]
With that in mind, she figured out that she wanted to keep the anxiety-riddled man company by—
“No, I don’t need a test subject for now.” Emil didn’t move his head from soldering a circuit board, his voice remained flat and very much tired. Might be because of the damage that Mike caused on his F-NATT device. “I’ve tested the current formula of the fear toxin on myself, and that was good enough for Jordan and Mira.”
…Welp, there goes her plan of accompanying the Swedish operator by helping his lab tests.
She sighed softly, and it seemed that her slightly disappointed expression was noticeable to the other, because Emil gestured towards an empty chair near him. “I don’t mind someone to chat, though. Saif is currently on a mission, and it’s been a quiet evening without him.”
Oh, that’s a new information. It's not surprising, considering how Saif was known as the friendliest being in this hostile environment, but still new information regardless.
With slight hesitation, she pulled the chair close to her and sat down, eyes watching the way he tinkered with the gadget’s inner workings. Calloused hands carefully plucking burnt parts with tweezers and replacing them with new ones. No rushed job. Just slow and steady work.
Reth likes watching the process. She enjoys how machineries work and how people handle them. Little screws got put aside, small cables roughly connected with each other, or in this case, how the Dread Mine’s gas canister casing finally got replaced with a newer and possibly stronger one. Everyone’s gadgets and devices are wonderful by themselves, and it made her heart swell up in pride whenever she saw people taking good care of them.
“You look happy.” Emil’s gruff voice snapped her out of her train of thought. His head finally turned to face her. “Something on your mind, hm?”
Reth smiled widely, her fang peeking out. “This is the first time I saw your gadget close by.” She then let out a nervous laugh, her violet contacts avoiding the chemist’s blue eyes. “The last time I saw it, I got sprayed by your fear gas and got myself knocked out until the end of the practice round.”
“I don’t remember you getting knocked out. You were doing well back then.” He followed by a soft mutter of Swedish, probably a swear word. 
“It’s my thing.” It’s her amnesia that prevented her from remembering lots of parts of her day-to-day basis. You possibly have a dissociative disorder, Harry’s voice rang through her mind. “Speaking of well, how’s F-NATT? Did you fix it?”
The mention of his gadget made the chemist shift his attention back to his work desk, examining the circuit board once again. “I’ll run some tests tomorrow. It’s dinner time.” He sat up and stretched his body, she could hear the subtle crackle and pops of the joints. “If I remember correctly, today’s dinner is steak with steamed carrots and broccoli florets.”
Reth groaned, the previous smile now replaced with a small frown. “I’ll skip. Old man Baker would chase me down to make me eat vegetables.”
Emil raised one of his eyebrows. “That’s unusual, coming from someone with a military background.” The engineer now noticed how tall the chemist was as he came closer. “Now that I think about it, you barely showed up in the cafeteria. What did you eat all this time?”
“Instant cup noodles, my best friend!”
He clicked his tongue; the blue eyes gleamed brighter under the room’s lighting. “Unhealthy. Do you know how much sodium is in there and the health risks if you consume it daily?” Now he reminded her of her late mother, who would nag her whenever she found out about her eating a raw block of instant ramen secretly.
Besides Gustave, Emil’s response is nostalgic to the engineer in a good way.
Another sigh left Reth’s mouth, eyes now shifted to the ground. “Vegetable texture and taste would make me gag. I can’t force them into my mouth unless it’s mashed into other food to mask the yuckiness…” Her voice lowered, thumbs twiddling. A sign of her nervousness.
In all honesty, Reth is embarrassed to tell people about this quirk because of how wildly different people would react to it. Baker went on a rant about how she should’ve gotten her shit together a long time ago and to grow the fuck up, and she decided not to listen to it. Flores was still kind to her, making her try Perico, a Colombian dish consisting of scrambled eggs with chopped vegetables, with the veggies minced more finely than usual. 
[Marius agreed with her since he also can’t stand vegetable texture other than starch roots like potatoes and yams. He just masked his dislike better than her.]
“So you’re telling me…” Emil crossed his arms, tapping his index fingers absentmindedly “...you have food hypersensitivity?” She nodded slowly. He hummed, closing his eyes for a while.
“Emil? You alright?”
“I’m alright, just thinking of something.” She could feel the chemist’s gaze piercing through her. “If I cook you something that wouldn’t make you gag every day, would you eat food properly from now on?”
Blinks. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me right correctly, Espion.” More blinking gestures from the younger operator, and he let out a loud, exasperated sigh. Strands of his jet-black hair fell, and he combed them back up with his fingers. “I will keep track of what you like and don’t like in vegetables and run extensive experiments on them in the kitchen. You’ll be my test subject.”
For a normal person, they would be highly suspicious because of that ominous statement alone. This person previously worked for Deimos, blew up a whole site, and developed a gas that possibly would end up with people killing off each other if inhaled for an extended period with an incorrect amount of formula.
Too bad that Reth is not “normal,” in a sense.
“I don’t mind.” She grinned, an honest smile for the other. “When you start?”
“The kitchen beside the cafeteria would be free of use around nineteen. Walking now would get us extra spare time to talk during the trip.”
Somehow, her task failed successfully.

Alfred Nobel stipulated that his annual prizes be awarded to those who “have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind”. Few scientific advances have had a greater impact on our lives than that made by the American materials chemist John Goodenough, a chemistry Nobel laureate in 2019 for his role in inventing the rechargeable lithium battery.
If you are reading this on a handheld device, it will almost certainly have a lithium battery inside. These power packs have been instrumental to the advent of electric cars, and their ability to store power such as that generated by ephemeral renewable sources could aid the transition away from a fossil-fuel energy economy.
For year after year Goodenough, who has died aged 100, featured in the list of Nobel predictions. Only his remarkable longevity saved the Swedish committee from an embarrassing injustice – he is the oldest person to have been awarded a Nobel. He seemed phlegmatic about being repeatedly overlooked, even though he did not enjoy any financial reward for his breakthrough either: in the 1980s he was not encouraged to take out a patent on the battery breakthrough he made at Oxford University. He was glad enough still to be able to do research, which he sustained almost until the very end of his life.
He left Oxford in 1986 for the University of Texas at Austin to escape compulsory retirement at 65, convinced – rightly – that he had a lot more still to offer. “Why would anyone retire and simply wait to die?” he asked. His vitality and enjoyment in the lab well into his 90s, punctuated by his loud and high-pitched laugh, was a constant cause of amazement.
One would hardly have guessed from that demeanour how unhappy his childhood had been, as the second of three children of extremely distant parents in what he called “a disaster” of a marriage. He was born in the city of Jena, Germany, to Helen (nee Lewis) and Erwin Goodenough.
They were both Americans who were living in Oxford – Erwin was studying for a DPhil at the university and, according to his son, “enjoyed the culture of the Weimar Republic; he spent much of his long summer vacations in Germany as well as in Rome”.
John was taken as a baby to the US, where his father became a professor of religious history at Yale University. John grew up mostly in a boarding school in Massachusetts, from where, despite being an undiagnosed dyslexic, he won a place to study mathematics at Yale. After wartime military service as a meteorologist, he gained a doctorate in physics at the University of Chicago and in 1952 began research on magnetic materials for information storage at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
That work qualified him to switch to inorganic materials chemistry when in 1976 he moved to Oxford. At that time, interest was growing in electric vehicles, which were being held back by the lack of suitable batteries.
The potential benefits of electric cars as quieter and less polluting than those using the petrol-fired internal combustion engine had been recognised since their inception. But the lead-acid batteries used as starter batteries and the power source for vehicle electronics were utterly unequal to the task of supplying the motive power: they were too heavy and offered too little power.
The dream of battery-powered cars was resurrected in the 60s, but it was only a decade later, with the Opec oil crisis in full swing, that the industry took them seriously.
The key was to find the right materials for the battery electrodes. Lithium metal looked attractive because it is lightweight and capable of delivering high voltages. The idea was that lithium at the positive electrode would provide electrically charged ions that travel to the negative electrode, where they could be trapped between the layers of atoms in materials called intercalators.
The British chemist Stanley Whittingham, one of Goodenough’s co-laureates, working at the Exxon laboratories in New Jersey, found a suitable intercalator called titanium disulfide in 1976. Four years later, Goodenough in Oxford identified the material – a form of cobalt oxide – that became the industry standard, offering a higher voltage and greater power density.
Early lithium batteries had a tendency to catch fire because of the high chemical reactivity of pure lithium. But the third 2019 laureate, the Japanese researcher Akira Yoshino, of the Asahi Kasei Corporation in Tokyo, replaced lithium electrodes with graphite-like carbon made from petroleum coke, which also intercalates lithium so that the ions merely shuttle back and forth between the two sets of layers, making them easily rechargeable.
The lithium-ion battery was commercialised in 1991 by the Sony Corporation, and now commands an estimated $92bn market. Without it there could have been none of today’s handheld electronics – laptops, smartphones, tablets. Elon Musk’s Tesla electric cars depend on them.
There is still room for improvement and Goodenough never stopped seeking it. In the past decade he was working, among other things, on making batteries that operate at low temperatures, suitable for powering cars in the winter.
He was also seeking a new, safer way to reinstate pure lithium electrodes, which could give lithium batteries more energy capacity. At the same time, he expressed concerns about the international tensions that might arise over the limited global supplies of lithium.
Goodenough maintained a strong Christian belief throughout his life, seeing no conflict with his scientific work. “The scientist is trying to do something for society and for his fellow man,” he said. “In that sense why should there be a conflict?” During his 90s he cared for his wife, Irene (nee Wiseman), who had Alzheimer’s disease. They had married in 1951; she died in 2016.
“I’d like to get all the gas emissions off the highways of the world”, Goodenough said in 2018. “I’m hoping to see it before I die.” It was always an ambitious aspiration, even for someone with his staying power. But if it happens one day, Goodenough will have played a central part in that.

December 10, 1896 - Swedish chemist Alfred Nobel died at San Remo, Italy. His will stipulated that income from his $9 million estate be used for awards recognizing persons who have made valuable contributions to humanity. Nobel recipients are chosen by a committee of the Norwegian parliament. Prizes for Peace, Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Literature and Economics are presented annually in a ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden, on the anniversary of his death. Each prize is valued at about $1 million.
December 10, 1898 - The Treaty of Paris was signed between American and Spanish representatives following Spain's defeat in the Spanish-American War. Under the treaty, the U.S. gained the Philippine Islands, the islands of Guam and Puerto Rico, and an agreement by Spain to withdraw from Cuba. The treaty passed by a single vote in the U.S. Senate on February 6, 1899, and was signed by President William McKinley four days later.

Autumn 1895: Euphemia realises that her presence is not really noticed by others, even those who are suppose to be friends. Please mind that this is Euphemia's biased perspective and that you should check these amazing Slytherin girls on the creators pages.

The hues of orange and red leaves settled on the Hogwarts grounds as Autumn had fully arrived in its glory. The beauty could hardly be seen under the green lights of the dungeons beneath Hogwarts grounds with the Black lake for their view. Euphemia saw Adelia, Marigold, Ophelia, and the girls' leader, Carolyn Nyberg, gathered. The witch was graced with Swedish beauty of blonde hair and ice blue eyes, which outshined all especially compared to the plain English girl.
The girls giggled loudly, with the exception of Ophelia in the common room as she walked. She approached her fellow dorm mates and perhaps only friends, like a ghost at Hogwarts rather than a friend. It was a kinder term, yet the applicable term of how Euphemia felt about her time so far at Hogwarts.
"Euphemia!" Carolyn observed the girl up and down, aghast. "I don't recall brown being back in fashion this season."
A chorus of snickers followed; even Ophelia smirked a little from behind her book. In horror, Euphemia realised as she looked down at her skirt. Brown dirt stains contrasted clearly against the light grey school uniform skirt. Euphemia hadn't realised that when she was at the gardening club despite her efforts to keep it clean as possible.
"Oh, I had not realised," she hung her head, ashamed. It was unladylike of her to get herself dirty. "I'll go change."
"That would be preferable."
She found a spare skirt to change into but hesitated before returning to the other girls. She dreaded to think how to could further proceed with the other girls. Time and time again, she has humiliated herself in front of them, in front of Carolyn. Euphemia stood in the common room, contemplating whether she should join the other girls. She wouldn't be like they missed her if she didn't join them in their gossip; nobody ever did. People only cared about her if they needed something or to use her for their own gain. It felt like everything she did was off by one step, yet Carolyn did everything flawlessly.
Taking a deep breath, she held her head high. Euphemia marched out of the Slytherin cave and into the dungeon's corridors. She looked back to see if anyone noticed, yet not to her surprise, nobody did. She let out a little laugh, though somebody passing by would probably think she had gone insane. Maybe she has?
"Euphemia?"
The Slytherin girl turned around and saw a girl with long flowy brown hair and a bright, wide smile that made her nose wider.
"Winona?" Euphemia was surprised at her warm reception as she recalled that Winona was very clear about her feelings about Euphemia's engagement with her brother. "What brings you here?"
"Uh, well, I..." Winona searched for the words. Euphemia seemed suspicious of her intent. "I was looking for you."
"Me?"
"Yes, I wanted to apologise." The Gryffindor girl clasped her hands.Euphemia blinked at her, confused. "For what?"
"Hmm? Oh, I was rude at dinner, and I really don't want us to get off on the wrong foot, now do we?" Winona put on that same grin from earlier. Euphemia wasn't fooled by her smile; she knew that sweet sickly meant nothing good. Though she had few other options to differ as she saw Carolyn and the other girls leaving behind Slytherin's tapestry.
"Could we go for a walk and discuss this somewhere else?" Euphemia glanced over at the tapestry. "Please?"
Winona seemed to have caught her meaning and swiftly acted. Dragging her by the arm and out of sight of the Slytherin girls. Not that Winona also wanted to deal with Nyberg after some rumour she allowed to pass through in the school letter. Euphemia remembered that day clearly.
"I thought you and Nyberg were friends?" Winona commented.
"We are, it's just..." Euphemia shrugged her shoulders half-heartedly.
"The sun and you, the little shadow," The Gryffindor curtly said. No one had put the words so bluntly, yet it pained her to realise that Winona was right.
"No, I...That's not it," Euphemia denied, and she wanted to be in denial.
"Look Euphemia, you might not want to see it but you mean nothing to Carolyn. She isn't your real friend." She patted her back. "But I want to be. Your friend that is.
"The Slytherin girl scoffed. "Don't you have many friends? Why be friends with the girl that hardly one knew existed."
"Because I see you, Euphemia." Winona shakes her a little, almost like an awakening. "Yes, I'll admit that I couldn't recall who you were before, but I see you now. And I can also assure you that there are others who see you too."
Tears formed in Euphemia's eyes, but she wiped them away discreetly before letting out a laugh. "You just want to ensure I don't end up marrying your brother."
"Oh, so she has a sense of humour," Winona laughed before winking. "I guess you uncovered my hidden agenda."
"So, you wouldn't be mad if I shan't be marrying your brother?" She asked, pressing her hand tightly together.
"No, no, no. Absolutely not, I won't be mad." Winona waved her hands, dismissing the thought. She gets a mischievous glimmer in her eyes. "Though why not? If you don't mind me asking."
"Oh gosh," The Slytherin girl sat down at the ledge of the corridor's open window structure. The one where it looked out to the open courtyard.
"Well, I..." Euphemia covered her cheeks as she felt them burning. "Can you keep a secret?"
The Gryffindor girl looked intrigued. "Don't worry, I can keep secrets. Let me guess, this is about a boy? A secret sweetheart?"
A smile crept on her face as she shyly hid her face from Winona.
"So this is about a boy!? You need to tell me everything," Winona sat down next to her.
"Well...where do I start?"

So, y'all seemed to like my last TMR OC/idea prompt list thing, so I thought I'd do another one.
But actually focus on OC ideas this time.
Okay, so here are some cool OC ideas because there's actually a lot you can do with this universe, but everyone does the same shit.
And I am here to provide:
A transfer character. Can be used for either the books or the movies, but an OC that starts off in one Maze and then gets moved to another with no warning could be an interesting concept. WICKED has made giant simulation Mazes, monsters, flesh eating floating metal balls and teleportation windows- I don't think it's that far-fetched that they could scoop a kid from one Maze and throw them in another.
So, Thomas and Teresa obviously built the Maze, so prodigy characters are a staple of the series. I think an OC that has a lot of knowledge about anatomy and biology, who could work as a Med-jack or a Slicer, who actually designed and made the Grievers, and obviously doesn't remember it, could be a interesting concept.
More male OCs pls. I love seeing these ladies, don't get me wrong because it makes things more interesting. But I think fanfiction can just be for fun and I love seeing some casual normal guy OCs kicking it around the Glade. (Saying this as someone who has male and female characters for this universe.)
I'd also love to see a trans character.
An OC that snuck into the Maze could also be fun. I feel like I need to explain this one more. Picture this: your character is like Teresa and Thomas and has enough of watching their friends be tortured and killed, so they set themself up to go into the Maze early. So they rock up early, like in the middle of two Greenie days and it freaks everyone out. (This could also be an easy way to make it make more sense for fem! OCs to end up in the Glade.)
OC with a cyborg limp of some kind. WICKED could make it happen, don't tell me they wouldn't.
Also, lemme give some names 'cause there was a phase a while back where OCs had the most random names and people completely ignored the fact that all the characters in the Mazes are named after famous people.
(I have used some of these names for my own characters, but I will not be revealing the name of my main OC because she is too precious to me and I am protective over her name. I may one day post about her if people are interested.)

Al/Alan - Alan Turing: Cryptanalyst famous for his work during the Second World War.
Micky- Michael Faraday: A philosopher who contributed to the study of electromagnetism and electrochemistry.
