In Swapfell Rose, everything about you is decided by how many relationship partners you've been with. Being a good partner is important, but it also doesn't really matter since you're only seen as good if you've been with more than one person. Other than the queen and king, of course! They found their soulmates first try! That's what everyone in Swapfell Rose is trying to do---find their soulmate.

They want someone to grow old with and they all believe that there has to be someone. A lot of them believe that, even if they're happy in a relationship, they could be happier in a different one. In this, Chara would come down and show everyone that their worth is more important than if they were in a relationship! I mean, the king and queen isn't even together anymore! (which the monsters don't know about)

Duke didn't know, while Bull did. He knew that the King had ran away a long time ago, a little while after the children died. People thought that the kings depression became too much, and he stayed inside the castle. The queen didn't want everyone to find out that they split up because, well, that would cause a lot of issues, tbh.

In Swapfell Ocean, the monsters were sent to the bottom of the ocean instead of underground. They're living down there and trying to survive in their tunnels of glass and such made by that worlds Gaster so they could leave the cave and explore the ocean(give or take)

Undertale Sans - Something intimate just for you and him. He's not a big fan of parties. He actually bakes a cake all by himself, gives you your present, and then you spends the rest of the day doing nothing on the couch, watching funny movies while cuddling. Sans likes simple things.

Undertale Papyrus - Big surprise party! Well, you kinda guessed it was a surprise party because when he's excited, Papyrus can't really hide it lol. And he acted really suspicious all day long, randomly dragging you across the town to avoid seeing people and stuff :')

Underswap Sans - He takes you to where you first met for dinner. He prepared everything and took a telescope so you could look at the stars once the night fell. He can be romantic when he really wants to.

Underswap Papyrus - He wakes you up at 5 a.m. and asks you to drive the car (because he can't lol) to the place he wants. You're confused until you see you're at Disneyland! Honey is as excited as you are.

Underfell Sans - He tried to bake a cake for you. It looks horrible and it tastes even worse, but he tried lol. You kiss him on the cheek as a thank you, even though he's all grumpy because he failed. You're too good for him.

Underfell Papyrus - He takes you to a fancy restaurant for dinner and acts like a true gentleman all day long, refusing to let you do anything in the house. It's your day, you sit on the couch and let him do his thing. He bought you a nice dress and everything for the restaurant, and red roses.

Horrortale Sans - Willow forced him to wear a suit, and now the poor guy looks constipated lol. Oak wanted a simple day at home with gifts and cakes but his brother insisted he go outside with you. So you went... Uh... Outside??? Oak took it literally. You kinda wandered the streets aimlessly for two hours before Oak sent a text to his brother to ask if they could come back in now xD He then returns to his initial plan: cuddles on the couch, cakes and gifts.

Horrortale Papyrus - Willow cooks a five-star dinner just for you. He really worked hard on it and was excited to show you all he did. He even dressed nicely and put rose petals on the bed and everything. He wanted this dinner to be perfect!

Swapfell Sans - He worked on a beautiful handmade necklace for you, with some of his most precious rocks. He's a little shy when he gives it to you, playing it cool, but you can tell he spent several months on this piece and that he's a bit emotive finally giving it to you.

Swapfell Papyrus - He hid a thousand birthday singing cards in the house. Whenever you open a drawer or a wardrobe, they start to sing lol. Some of them also have recorded messages of Rus screaming and so there's a chance out of two you're getting jumpscared. Rus is very proud of himself.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He says he loves you so much he went to steal the Crown Jewels for you. You laugh, saying he's cute, until he actually gifts you the Crown Jewels he stole during the night. Uh... You're both going to be in trouble, are you?

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He made a cute painting of you. He put all his love for you inside. He's happy you like it. Other than that, you spend the rest of the day cuddling in bed and playing video games because that's all you need to be happy in life.

Owl - Ink Fellswap Carnelian Papyrus

Personality: He's a really artistic and tranquil skeleton. He's a body painter and tattoo artist. He's pretty cool. He can be fairly tough, and he is extremely meticulous and focused on his work. He has a fierce temper and is not afraid to assert himself. He enjoys children and cares for them whenever possible. He cares about others and, when necessary, defends his loved ones. He is slick, focused, and little flirtatious. When he is working, he exudes a tranquil and attractive air. He enjoys playing innocent pranks. Many people look up to him. He is quite friendly and charismatic. He is unforgiving when it comes to protecting his family and loved ones.

Appearance: He is a tall skeleton with two large scars on his eye that form an "x" on it. He also has a golden tooth. He has a tail. He has deep red eyes. He has a tongue piercing. He has a few tattoos on his bones. He has a begonia tattoo on the back of his neck paired with butterfly weed. On his ribs is a heart tattoo with a daisy in the center. He has a sleeve of flower tattoos on his right arm (there seem to be mostly red roses, heliotropes, and purple hyacinths. but it doesn't seem to take up his entire arm.)

Granite - Ink Swapfell Amethyst Papyrus

Personality: In general, he is a quiet and solitary person. He manufactures jewelry and appears to be very focused on his craft. He helps Owl manage his tattoo shop and performs piercings. He designs all of his jewelry by hand. He takes his job seriously and decorates on occasion. He can be charming and tough simultaneously, but he can also be sweet and caring toward others. He is really shy and finds people fascinating. He is wary of anyone he believes poses a threat. When someone makes fun of him, he has the skill and willingness to be unpleasant and harsh. When faced with danger, he can be cruel and vicious; but, if they show that they are.

Appearance: He is a tall skeleton. He has dark purple eyelights and three scars on his left eye that are extremely jagged. He has a piercing on his tongue. He has a rhododendron tattoo on his throat. He has a jasmine tattoo on his ribs. He has a large flower back tattoo (includes honeysuckle, gardenias, and daffodils.)

Vi - Errorswap Papyrus

Personality: He's a lovely and entertaining skeleton. He keeps to himself and can be really rude. He prefers to be sure of his strings before pulling innocuous pranks. He's chilly and detached from others. He's destructive, and he combines a sweet approach with a seductive one. He is genuinely enthusiastic and does not hesitate to express it. He enjoys practical jokes, terrible puns, and puzzles. He occasionally smokes and eats lollipops, but he avoids causing trouble for his companions. He helps others whenever possible. He has a protective mentality and is often tense. He is normally lazy since he balances off his younger brother's eagerness, but he acts when prodded. He enjoys teasing his buddies and is a touch flirtatious.

Appearance: He is a skeleton monster. He has a scar on his right eye and a scar on his nose. He has large canines. He also seems to have orange strings wrapped around his arms and legs.

Diesel - Errorfell Papyrus

Personality: He, too, is a prickly and belligerent individual, but he is more tolerable. He's a doctor. He moves quickly and makes effective use of his strings. He is both regal and casual. He is simultaneously silent and dangerous. He's unpleasant and cruel, but with enough work, you can win him over. He is highly protective of his friends and may appear combative to defend them; but, if accepted, he is a sensitive and sweet individual. He'll gladly carry you if you ask. He is highly clever and brilliant. He never gives up and knows how to explain things. He has a bad temper and will not tolerate harm from anyone.

Appearance: He is a tall skeleton. He has deep red eyes. He has two scars on his right eye. He has, what looks like, red strings wrapped around his bones.

Outertale Sans: Cosmic Serrif. I thought it would be kinda funny that he would name himself Cosmic because when he finds out how similar he and Vanilla are, the two progressively end up making a connection to Comic Sans becoming a pun with "Cosmic."

Outertale Papyrus: Comet Serrif. Fast, energetic, and bright - Comet got his name out of inspiration. He actually was able to pick what name he wanted quickly as a result

Farmtale -

Farmtale Sans: Basil Serrif. Basil is a type of plant that is suspected to have mild sedative properties that affect mood and ease things such as depression, anxiety, and sleeping problems. Wonderful for foods, teas, etc, he thought that the name itself was just perfect for him. He's a very laid back character, so it works along with the fact that his magic happens to be green

Farmtale Papyrus: Juniper Serrif. The word juniper comes from the Latin word juniperus, which means "to produce." The name symbolizes life, growth, and it's known to be a resilient plant. So, what better name could he go for that's based off a plant like his brother and that perfectly captures his excellence?

Gtale(?) -

G!Sans: Marigold Serrif. Like his magic, it is a bright flower that often symbolizes power, strength, and light. It is also said that Marigolds are thought to attract souls. Back then in the Victorian Era, where the Language of Flowers prospered, marigolds often were about grief and sadness, often put in bouquets as a way of expressing kindness and solidarity. He would have chosen this name as a sort of gesture of withholding the memories of not only Gaster, but of all that lie underground as they vanished. He is a withdrawn and self reflective individual, it makes sense he'd choose it as it holds significant meaning to him

G!Papyrus: Sage Serrif. The name means wise, or prophet in Latin terms. The plant is commonly also used in practices that include burning it in order to connect to the spiritual world or enhance intuition. His magic is green, so to specifically focus on green Sage reveals that it represents wisdom, intelligence, and experience. When part of Gaster's soul fused with his own, not only did he grow more knowledge, but he progressively became a mixture of both personalities. So, sage was the perfect inspiration for him

Fashiontale -

For context: I do not like anything from the original AU Underlust It was a proshipping hellhole that I do not like and honestly most of the designs if not all of them are not to my personal liking. So, as a result I took some inspiration of what it was "going for" and decided to make my own little AU like spin on it. So, to get a slight idea, this is where these two come from

Fashiontale Sans: Cupid Serrif. The God of desire, attraction, affection, and erotic love. It's a fitting name for him because of his popularity underground for his performances and his ability to attract all the things that the God Cupid is capable of. He would only want such a pretty name for a pretty face

Fashiontale Papyrus: Desi Serrif. Desi comes from Desire, shortened to a simple sweetness. It also is a name meaning "yearning, sorrow, or desire." With all of this, what really pushed him to choose this name is because of the Desi Roses, a garden rose variety that is known for its strong scent. Everyone already knows the symbolism of roses, so this was just the perfect name for him

Apple Brothers:

I have no desire to change their names, since they're such solid ones. However, below, I decided to add little nicknames that were technically their own "names" when the two were children

Dream: Sunny or Dreamy, which used to be used by Nightmare when the two were children

Nightmare: Nicknames he had from Dream were ones such as Nighty or Moony. ("oh like FNA-" "shhh shhh shh shh. Shh")

Glitch:

Glitched Swap Sans: Blooper. He was not meant to be an outcode, let alone meant to even be in the void to begin with. A stumble of steps, a missed line, a missed frame. The dictionary states that Blooper means "an embarrassing error" "a mistake" and I think that perfectly encapsulates him entirely. How he feels, how he was created. There's a lot I personally changed in his character, but I wanted to name him Blooper since not only is it fitting, but because it also is a small nod towards "Blueberror", which was his original name

I plan to just keep the rest of the names that we have for other popular AU's such as Ink, Reaper, Dust, Killer, Error, Geno, and Cross.

So how would a relationship differ with Palace and Cad to Duke and Bull (considering that Duke and Bull believe in more partners)

Well... hmm... this is a kind of interesting, yet hard question.

Depending on how long you two had been together, Duke and Bull might believe that they found their soulmate with you! If that happens, they wouldn't leave to try to find it elsewhere. Of course it also depends on where they are in the story! Is it when they're still underground?

But anyway, Bull would have the hardest time staying in a single relationship, because he believes that love is a dangerous thing. He knows that he loves you, but he feels like... you deserve better. It's a pretty unhealthy relationship, tbh.

While with Palace and Cad, they wouldn't even get into a relationship in the first place! It would be up to you to get together with them, and it might be a bit hard because they're scared to get into a relationship.

Of course if you show them that you love them, and you wouldn't do anything against them, they would get into the relationship with you. They're pretty good partners, even if they have no idea what they're doing! You would be their first ever relationship for both of them :)

Personality: He has no memory of his former AU. He is a bright and joyful individual who bears a great deal of valor and power on his shoulders. He is typically regarded as fearless and strong. He, too, never quits up. He is clever, intelligent, and wise. He'll put you in touch with folks and cook for you! He is kind and careful, but he gets tired and frustrated and wants to rest. He's the hero who is always by your side. He enjoys his leisure time and works hard in general. He looks after others.

Appearance: He is a skeleton with light blue eyes. His SOUL is glitched so his eyes switch between white and dark blue. He has a small scar on his left eye.

Stian - The Wandering SOULs Swap Papyrus

Personality: He has no memory of his former AU. He exudes a chilly temperament. He is a prankster who enjoys himself and looks out for others. He enjoys practical jokes, poor puns, and puzzles. He's the epitome of a gentleman. He's a lovely person who doesn't like greasy cuisine but adores sweets. Because he is often quite lazy, he balances off his younger brother's vigor, but he does things when prompted. He enjoys teasing his buddies and is a bit of a flirt. He's a good man who experiences stress but knows how to deal with it. He is both calm and wary.

Appearance: He is a skeleton with dark orange eye lights. Since his SOUL is glitched, they occasionally turn white or light orange. He has a large scar on his right eye and he has a red rose tattoo on his chest.

Ulysses - The Wandering SOULs Swapfell Sans

Personality: He has no recollection of his prior AU. Despite not being a prince, he emanates the aura of one. He's regal, polite, and to the point, but his speech is usually abrupt or overly pleasant. He goes for the throat and is highly wrathful when necessary. He is straightforward and doesn't sugarcoat anything. He does like to have a good time. He is willing to go to any length to protect his family, including fighting his brother if necessary. He never holds back when it comes to fighting. He does, however, have a habit of being merciful to certain people. He's also not scared to use his abilities.

Appearance: He is a skeleton. He has light purple eye lights that turn to dark purple or white because his SOUL is damaged. He has a large crack on his right eye that cuts a bit off the side of his nose.

Doran - The Wandering SOULs Swapfell Papyrus

Personality: He has no memory of his prior AU. He's a caring individual who does everything he can to provide for his family. He also has a calm demeanor, and it's difficult to determine if he's upset or not. He appears to be nice while being a little playful. He enjoys jokes and puns, although not as much as Stian. He works hard and is occasionally naughty. He would do anything, including fight, to protect the people he cared about. He appears to be in tune with his magic and in control of his emotions. He takes care of those he can and will go to any length to protect them.

Appearance: He is a tall skeleton with a large scar that goes across his face from his left eye to his right. He has dark orange eye lights that turn purple or white because his SOUL is damaged. He has a begonia tattoo on his back.
