I'm glad you're aware of that, sir, but then why not give her any… I get that it's appropriate to the time period, but man, the amount of "oh, this kid wasn't beaten/spanked enough, that's why they're a brat" with kids who are traumatized/lost parents/are not getting their emotional needs met is wild... at least it's Maple Town, so it ends neatly and happily with a life lesson learned (including for the parents, because man, his favouritism of his son over his daughter is harsh!)

It's sad Judy has to prove herself worthy of her father's praise, but I'm glad that even before that, Patty calls him out and explains that Judy's antics (wearing the dress, bringing his favourite (sugary, messy...) snack into his work area... were all because she just wanted him to notice her. ;_;

what first drew you to this fandom? i had tried several times to watch shameless since it started but kept getting turned off by how gross frank was lmao. i really like cameron monaghan though and back in 2022 i was just in a good place (apparently) to finally push through (and skip!!) the gross frank shit and watch the show. i think i watched some of it. and then i went and just watched gallavich scenes on youtube? and then i went BACK and rewatched all of the actual show? over and over again lol. my love of cameron monaghan and shameless's vibe just finally clicked into place amen.

Have you seen this childhood show: Miniforce (2014-2016), South Korea (Korean, English)

Commentary/Context/Memories: I literally don’t expect anyone to know this even slightly, but I was OBSESSED with it. The owl character, Sammy, was my main back in the day.

[Mod A: From reading the description, I like how with Dinotrux (which was like Transformers for dinosaurs), this show was like Power Rangers for animals. They had Volt the yellow squirrel, Max the blue beaver, Sammy the red owl, and Lucy the pink fox who teams up together to become the Miniforce, whose goal was to keep things peaceful between humans and animals, and also to fight the supervillains. In their daily life, they are taken care of by a human named Suzy as pets. To fight evil, they change into the human shaped Force Bots (so maybe this is more similar to Voltron, except instead of humans and lion bots, it’s animals and human bots which is a pretty cool reversal!) and each has a specific weapon/power. Sounds like an interesting show, but I feel that I will truly know peace when the only girl in the group is in a colour other than pink haha]

First of all, I had like ideas for the hatzcats warrior names woah.

Ravenfern, Rabbitbounce and Rowandawn.

Roy is so close to getting a redemption arc the suffix -dawn JUST HAD TO BE HIM!!! ITS HIS NEW DAWN!!!

Fern is usually used to build dens ESPECIALLY NURSERY DENS so I think that Ross is good with kids so Ravenfern, it sounds cool too.

I don't think Rabbitbounce needs much of an explanation, bouncy guy and I love the fucking prefix aisjdjjsdj

I would've said Rabbitleap but it sounds ten times cuter.

Oh and I thought of Squirrelchirp for Suzie ajdjjdjdjd

Okay now the actual ideas of how I pictured the adult versions might be NOWHERE near how you pictured them but I think the absolute MOMENT I found out about this au I thought of Rowandawn it was like two hours after.

I think Ravenfern or any of the others mentoring Bone would be funny. And also adorable if Ravenfern cause aughhhh and Squirrelchirp for Pumpkin.....

Imagine Raven and Squirrel become overprotective and WILL glare at other apprentinces who hold a grudge on the spookez. It would be so fun.

Oh wow! That's a lot! Nene has been wanting to talk about our ocs... So here we go! *Note Nene got tired halfway through. Nene meant to infodump more but spoons ran out. Maybe in the future.

We have a large collection of old undertale ocs from back in the day, from when we were... Nene'd say age 10. It's a kind of, main oc with a lot of variants type deal. There's a lot of different versions because of different undertale aus, yeah? They're usually something mixed with a fox. Some of them are just pure foxes, but most are hybrids.

Nene will list some of the notable ones.

Poxy, 35 human years, Pansexual, Fem She/Her, Classic AU. Closest relation to a real breed of fox is a Bat-Eared fox. Poxy is meant to be a happy-go-lucky, genuinely nice monster. She has a big heart and a lot of care for her friends. She's very clumsy, very affectionate, and not at all brave. She has ice magic, but not much control over it, so she usually ends up accidentally trailing ice shards and making it snow inside. She resides in the snowy area, and doesn't have a job. She lives on the outskirts of snowdin in the forests.

Toksi, 28 human years, Bi, Demigirl She/They, Underfell. Mix between a Fox and Wolf - No specific breeds in mind. Toksi is a cold and intimidating monster. She works as a trapper, setting traps for humans or anything else she wishes to catch. They don't have much care for anyone- Only really sticking around people they deem tolerable. They spend much time at bars, otherwise she is found in her office.

Suzy, 25 human years, Unlabelled, Genderfluid She/Her, Underswap Fox and i think squirrel. Not much information about her available.
