Bruce Banner is Tim Drake’s Uncle

In the comics, Bruce Banner is canonically taken in by his aunt Susan Drake after his father’s jailed for mariticide.

Let’s say Susan Drake was Janet’s mother and that Bruce Banner was raised alongside her.

When he goes to college and becomes a scientist he’s still in contact with them but being on the run from the government tends to put a dampener on communications so Bruce Banner has never met Janet’s spouse or child.

When Tim lies about his uncle having custody of him, he didn’t make up a new uncle. Thus, SHIELD was alerted when Bruce B’s name suddenly appeared in new legal custody records.

They’d been meaning to investigate Gotham for awhile anyway but the locals had been less than cooperative and SHIELD is a bit swamped with aliens and mutants nowadays to chase shadows.

With a gothamite in the custody of an Avenger and sharing a living space with a few more, SHIELD’s chances of getting new intel on Gotham are at a record high so they alert Bruce Banner of Tim’s orphan status and help him gain custody.

Let it be said that one should never bet against a bat.

When the plot has four dumbass siblings who mess with each other

I started writing a Tim goes to Narnia AU a couple of years ago, outlined most of it, drafted a handful of chapters, then forgot all about it until now.

Part of me wants to start it, the other is awkwardly avoiding eye contact with the WIPs glaring at me.

I believe I have stumbled upon a system for fictional four sibling groups. It to my knowledge only consistently for SIBLINGS not friend groups. I will explain my hypothesis at the end.

Each sibling fits into one of these categories

- Mom Friend

- Blunt to a fault

- People pleaser

- The Dead One

For the dead one they don't actually have to have died but, quite frankly most of the time if I asked you which one was the dead one, one would come to mind almost immediately

- Amy: people pleaser

This is the only one I believe hole heartedly in. The rest I will receive criticism on if necessary as I am not super familiar with all of them.

• Narnia

-Peter: mom friend

- Susan: People pleaser

- Edmund: the dead one

- Lucy: blunt to a fault

• Robins (Batman)

(okay I know there is more than 4 robins and way more than 4 bat kids but for the point I am making I hope it counts.)(also I am pretty sure you thought of them when I mentioned the dead one)

Dick: the mom friend

Jason: the dead one (iconic)

Tim: people pleaser

Damian: blunt to a fault

Now for the reasoning. For all of these the family aspect is a big part of their stories. When a writer wants to write a family story they often pick 4 siblings because it's big enough to work but not too many to loose track. Then you need to differentiate them. Bluntness keeps one distinct. Having one die adds drama. The other two keep the family together. From a writer point of view it makes sense.

Batfamily and Chronicles of Narnia AU

Dick Jason Tim and Damian

Dick as Peter. Finding himself and siblings being thrown into this unknown world with talking british animals and this fake ahh Grover from Percy Jackson puts him in eldest sibling mode as soon as their feet hit the snow.

Jason as pessimistic oldest sister Susan is just chef kisses 🤌🏽. He would pretend he’s not impressed and filled with childlike wonder for the land of Narnia. Acting like he’s not the same kid that was all, “Robin is magic ✨”

Aslan would be bestowing great words of wisdom and encouragement to each sibling before going into battle. Just for Jason to go “Bro think he Alfred or something 🤨?? Smh..” after his turn.

(Also Jason’s big ole tank self having to crouched down and hunch over in the Beaver couple’s house makes this even better)

And so by default ..Tim is Edmund. I feel like instead of Tim being manipulated by the Winter Witch with gifts and such, he’d be trying to play double agent on her.

Making it seem like he’s just a dumb kid who will play into her hand while secretly gathering intel for himself, and later on for the Narnia revolution. Tim still being Tim by making his questionable decisions and sacrifices but, in the name of the greater good.

Damian being the equivalent to Lucy is hilarious. Damian would love talking to the animals. He’d love having tea with Mr.Tumnus, traveling with the Beaver Couple, and most of all Aslan. Riding on Aslan’s back would his highlight of the whole journey. Aslan’s death would hit hard for all the boys but, Damian the most.

Honestly if the plot allowed i’d want the WHOLE batfam here. They’d have the whole eternal winter and wicked queen thing wrapped up in a day or two.

Also I’d like to considering putting Cass in the place of Damian as Lucy from a chronological (She was introduced into the fam before him) pov.

Like Cass getting a healing potion and tiniest knife, in the Santa Claus scene. Receiving the least deadly present out of all their gifts while she, herself being the most deadly out of all the siblings would be just 🤌🏽

I'm back to introduce another family of the Spider-Man: Family Values universe, this time being arguably Peter's closest superhero allies.

Real Name: Reed Richards

Physical Appearance: Has a lean and slightly athletic build, fair skin, short brown hair with his trademark white temples, a beard, and brown eyes.

Relationship Status: Married

Causal Outfit: A black sweater with rolled-up sleeves under a blue puffer jacket, tan pants, and grey and white sneakers.

-Intelligent, imaginative, curious, kind, caring, and a little silly.

-Married to Sue and the proud father of Franklin and Valeria Richards.

-Is autistic.

-The godfather of Jo-Venn and N'Kalla.

-Serves as the team's leader.

-One of the most respected members of the superhero community, largely thanks to him and his family being the ones to start the superhero boom of the early 2010s.

-Whenever a collaboration between the geniuses is called for, you better believe he's gonna be there.

-Works part-time as a professor at Empire State University, where he teaches quantum physics.

The Invisible Woman:

Real Name: Susan Storm-Richards

-Serves as the team's pilot.

-Just like the rest of his family, he's one of the most respected members of the superhero community.

-Got with Ben shortly after the Fantastic Four was formed and after several years of dating, they officially tied the knot about four years ago.

-Were once child soldiers, being forced to constantly duel as Casino Cosmico. But thanks to the Fantastic Four, the two were freed and adopted by Ben and Alicia.

-Was a stray dog who constantly followed Ben around, much to his annoyance. But thanks to an experience involving an illusion from Miracle Man, Ben grew to become fond of her and eventually decided to adopt her.

H.E.R.B.I.E.:

Real Name: Highly Engineered Robot Built for Interdimensional Exploration

Weight: 70 lbs

-The Fantastic Four's robotic assistant build by Reed.

-Loyal and trustworthy until the end!

Iceman:

Real Name: Bobby Drake

Age: 27

Height: 5'8

Weight: 145 lbs

Physical Appearance: Has a lean and athletic build, pale skin, shaggy brown hair, and blue eyes.

Relationship Status: Married

Casual Outfit: A blue hoodie, light blue shorts, blue sandals, and a black durag.

Hero Outfit: A combination of his solo series outfit and his iconic 90s outfit. Has the same look and appearance of the solo series outfit, but uses the color scheme of the 90s outfit. Also he's completely barefooted.

-Witty, confident, fun-loving, but also kind and generous.

-One of the original five founding members of The X-Men.

-Got with Johnny during his college years, and about a year ago, they officially got married.

-Speaking of college, he was Peter's roommate, along with fellow mutant Angelica Jones aka Firestar.

-Has been a close friend to Peter since their early days as teenage heroes.

-Teaches accounting and chemistry at the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters.

-Is Irish Catholic and Jewish.
