Cradle is low-key one of my favorite series of all time, but can I just talk about Suriel for a sec?

I just can’t stop thinking about how she comes down to save this weird giant toddler-man and give him a pep-talk like, “Hey man, keep working hard and you’ll get there eventually! :D” and Lindon immediately internalizes this as “Oh! I’ll just never stop working hard ever again!”

As the greatest healer in all creation I can’t imagine that wasn’t concerning for her. Imagine telling a 5 year old that if she practices every day then eventually she’ll be able to beat up the monster under her bed. Now imagine you see her in the back yard punching trees every day for months before one day showing up with a dead Boogeyman in one hand and it’s spine (which she has made into a sword somehow) in the other.

I would be concerned.

Like in the first 3 Acotar books he was just stirring up so much ✨drama✨

He didn’t need to tell Feyre to “stay with the high lord” (didn’t need to phrase it like that either) but he just couldn’t help himself.

Also that bit in ACOMAF when he is telling Feyre about the flower and he just casually drops that Rhysand is her mate. She’s all shocked and he’s just like “oh, you didn’t know” 😏

I CRIED so hard when he died. He just wanted to eat chicken, wear a warm coat, and dream of a better future. 🐓🧥🌌

Back at it again with Suriel art.

I had this weird ass headcanon that's been infecting my brain that angles in Ultrakill had their own form of like intimacy: Goring each other and sharing bio mass. They idea of like exchanging hearts and other parts is a sort of sacred thing between angels. So like the gay lil fella I am, I thought of Suriel having Gabriel's heart before his fall and just kept it since it was the only thing he had left to keep his will to live.

Fellas is it gay to share organs with your ex?

Suriel: And by part I mean the whole thing.

Feyre, deadpan: What.

Feyre: I think you're intuitive. But you're not a whole psychic.

Suriel: Well-if not whole, then how much?

Feyre: How much psychic?

Feyre: I think you do have really strong intuition, I think you're somebody who knows the world and pays attention. I would say if it was a percentage, maybe you're like 25%.

Suriel: Do you think if I worked with the FBI I could find a dead body?

Feyre: Yes.

Suriel: I do too. Let's say if someone was murdered and this was their cup of tea, [holds up tea cup] I could be like, "Mm, they're in Sarasota."

Feyre: Right, so that-I don't believe. That's where I would cut you off. I would say maybe if we have a little bit more evidence you would get there.

Suriel: M'kay.

Feyre: You're hurt.

Suriel: When you die, I guess I'm just not gonna find you.

Feyre: No! Don't say that! What if they need your help?

Suriel: Okay, I'll find you.

Feyre: Nice.
