I know this isn't a new thought at all, but how many people at CatCo do we think know Kara's secret? I'm not talking about the Nia/James/Cat/Winn people, but random others.
Does Ed the janitor sigh in frustration everytime he finds Kara's clothes ripped off in the middle of the hallway, only to fold them nicely and hide them behind the nearest plant? (Kara still hasn't quite caught on that they aren't landing there naturally when she throws them to the side)
Does Taylor in security casually loop footage and cut out the moments where Kara dramatically displays the House of El symbol?
Does Lindsay from accounting just so happen to sit across from a balcony Supergirl likes to use to fly in and out of, hidden enough that Kara doesnt think twice about what shes doing?
And Eric, from HR. He noticed that Kara's excessively late clock ins and very early clock outs lined up perfectly with Supergirl helping with massive fights and emergencies. He casually reroutes all the automated emails to Kara's bosses that should be reminding them to write her up.
Even bringing it outside of CatCo. Is there young a barista at Noonan's who always slips Kara an extra couple of sticky buns. Because she saw Kara become Supergirl in the alleyway behind the building one time, and Supergirl saved her sister during an alien attack. It's not much, but it's what a girl living off of tips can do, and saving the city must be hungry work.
The young couple living across the street from Kara's loft have seen her fly in the window carrying ridiculous amounts of takeout on so many late nights.
All these people, the normal citizens of National City. Connected by a secret they didn't mean to learn and would never tell, or even confront her about. They're all just content to keep the secret, and if Kara finds doughnuts on her desk after a particularly hard fight, or her favorite sweater that was discarded pre flight dry cleaned and delivered to her door? That'll just be their little way of saying thank you

Always (supercorp)
Lena has nightmares every night and only Kara can keep them at bay.
or
Kara finds every excuse to spend the night in Lena's bed so that Lena can sleep.
a soft, fluffy and angsty supercorp fic.
Tumblr media
Lena lay in bed, her eyes heavy with exhaustion, but her mind stubbornly refusing to give in to sleep. Night after night, the same haunting nightmares tormented her, a relentless loop of horror that had become all too familiar. It had been a month since that dreadful day when Lex had blown up a building and then turned his madness towards her.
The scar on her stomach throbbed, a constant physical reminder of that traumatic encounter. She traced her fingers over the faint line, a painful memory etched into her skin. Closing her eyes, she could vividly recall that nightmarish moment. The memory played out like a horrifying movie reel in her mind.
Lex, his face contorted with manic rage, covered in sweat and soot from the destruction he had wrought. His eyes glinted with a dangerous intensity as he approached her, a knife concealed up his sleeve.
"This is your last chance to join me, sister," his voice dripped with a chilling mix of desperation and malice.
Lena's response had been firm and resolute, her voice unwavering, "Never."
Lex lunged at her, the knife flashing in the dim light. The searing pain as the blade sliced through her flesh, the shock and disbelief that followed, and then a wave of darkness that enveloped her as her vision blurred and her body gave way.
Just as the darkness threatened to consume her completely, a distant voice penetrated the void. Kara's voice, a desperate scream that pierced through the fog of unconsciousness. But Lena was already slipping away, unable to fight against the pull of oblivion.
Back in the present, Lena's body finally succumbed to its overwhelming fatigue, her eyelids drooping as her thoughts continued to race. She fought against the encroaching sleep, desperately clinging to consciousness. But the battle was a losing one, and eventually, her mind gave in.
The nightmares returned with a vengeance, a macabre tapestry of fear and torment that painted her subconscious in vivid shades of terror. The sound of explosions echoed in her ears, and the memory of Lex's crazed expression haunted her once more. Lena thrashed in her sleep, trapped in a nightmarish cycle that seemed impossible to escape.
As the nightmares intensified, Lena's eyes snapped open, her body drenched in sweat, heart racing. She was back in her room, the dim light casting eerie shadows on the walls. Gasping for air, Lena realized that the room felt suffocating, the weight of her memories and fears pressing down on her. She sat up, her breathing ragged, and rubbed her temples as she tried to shake off the residual terror. She knew she couldn't go on like this, trapped in a cycle of sleepless nights and haunting dreams. But finding a way out seemed impossible, her trauma a prison from which there was no escape.
Exhausted and defeated, Lena lay back down, her eyes staring blankly at the ceiling. She longed for respite, for a moment of peace, but she knew that the night was far from over, and the nightmares would likely return once more. With a heavy sigh, she braced herself for another sleepless night.
The following night, Lena slid into bed and found herself staring at the ceiling, her heart racing, her breath uneven. She couldn't bear the thought of closing her eyes, of succumbing once more to the terrors that awaited her in the realm of dreams.
With a sigh, she reached over to turn off her lamp, plunging her room into darkness. But just as she settled back against her pillows, a soft knock echoed through the room, startling her. Lena's heart skipped a beat, her body tensing as she cautiously got out of bed.
She padded across the room, her breath catching in her throat when she saw the familiar sight of Kara standing on the balcony, clad in her Supergirl suit. The moonlight illuminated her tousled, windswept blonde hair, and the suit accented her lean physique and the well-defined muscles beneath the suit. Her blue eyes shimmered in the night, and her lips curled into a beautiful smile that made Lena's heart race.
"Kara, hi. What are you doing here?" Lena managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kara's smile widened, her eyes glinting with a playful sparkle. "Hey, Lena. I was on patrol nearby and I'm absolutely exhausted. Do you mind if I crash here?"
Lena's mind was a whirlwind of emotions, but all she could muster was a simple, "No, not at all."
Lena let Kara into her penthouse. Kara often crashed at Lena's after game nights or movie nights but this felt different somehow.
Lena handed Kara a pair of her sweats and a t-shirt, their fingers briefly grazing against each other, sending a shiver of electricity through Lena's veins.
"Thanks, Lena," Kara said appreciatively before disappearing into the bathroom to change. Lena watched the closed door, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts. She took a seat on the edge of her bed, the anticipation building as she waited for Kara to emerge.
The moments ticked by, each second feeling like an eternity as Lena's heart raced. The quiet rustling of fabric signaled Kara's return, and Lena's breath caught as she looked up to see Kara stepping out of the bathroom, dressed in Lena's clothes. The clothes were slightly short on Kara, exposing a tantalizing glimpse of her toned abs. Lena's throat went dry, and she swallowed hard, her heart pounding in her chest, her fingers itching to trace the path of those well-defined muscles..
She had always known that her feelings for Kara ran deeper than the love one felt for a friend, a truth she had carefully kept hidden behind carefully constructed walls of friendship, but in moments like this, she struggled to keep her feelings at bay.
Normally, Kara would retire to one of the guest rooms, and Lena had assumed tonight would be no different. But to Lena's surprise, Kara moved with graceful purpose, sliding into Lena's bed as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Despite the many nights they had spent under the same roof, Kara had never slept in Lena's bed. This was something Lena had never even dared to imagine, even in her wildest dreams.
With cautious steps, Lena slipped under the covers, settling beside Kara. The bed seemed impossibly small, the space between them charged with an electric tension. Kara turned onto her side, facing Lena, and Lena mirrored her position, their gazes locked.
"Goodnight, Lena," Kara whispered, her breath ghosting over Lena's lips before she closed her eyes.
"Goodnight, Kara."
Lena found herself acutely aware of Kara's presence beside her. With her eyes closed, she tried to find a sense of calm, allowing the rhythm of Kara's breath to guide her.
As time passed, Lena felt herself gradually relaxing, the softness of the moment easing the usual restlessness that plagued her nights. The fear of nightmares still lingered, but it felt distant.
She felt herself surrendering to sleep. The sound of Kara's steady breathing became comforting.
In the quiet darkness of the room, Lena's consciousness slipped away, her mind finally finding a respite from the torment of her past. As sleep claimed her, the usual nightmares were conspicuously absent.
--
The soft, warm rays of morning light gently filtered through the curtains, casting a serene glow over the room. Lena stirred, gradually awakening from the depths of slumber, her senses slowly coming to life. The sensation that enveloped her was one of warmth and security, a comfort she hadn't experienced in a long time.
She realised that Kara's arms were tightly wrapped around her and her body was pressed against Lena's back, their forms fitting together as if they were two pieces of a puzzle perfectly aligned.
Lena's heart danced within her chest as she felt Kara's breath ghosting against the back of her neck, a sensation that sent shivers of delight down her spine. The intimacy of the moment was intoxicating and left her heart racing dangerously.
Kara stirred beside her, her movements slow and gentle. Lena could hear a soft, almost inaudible mumble from Kara, the sound of her voice tugging at Lena's heartstrings. "Oh, sorry," Kara's voice was a gentle whisper.
Lena felt a twinge of disappointment as Kara began to extricate herself from their embrace.
As Lena turned to look at Kara, her eyes were met with a sleepy smile that seemed to illuminate the entire room. Lena's heart skipped a beat as she took in the sight of Kara's tousled hair and the soft lines of her face.
"Morning," Kara's voice was soft and sleepy.
Lena's fingers itched to reach out, to brush away the hair that had fallen across Kara's forehead, to trace the delicate curve of her cheek. But a sense of shyness held her back, a lingering hesitation that reminded her of the boundaries Lena had always maintained.
--
Over the course of the next two weeks, Lena's life took an unexpected turn. To her immense surprise and relief, Kara seemed to find a reason, however small, to spend every single night in Lena's bed. It was a pattern that quickly became a comforting routine. Each evening, as the world outside dipped into the embrace of night, Kara would slip into Lena's bed, a shield against the haunting nightmares that had held Lena captive for far too long.
Lena's waking moments became increasingly filled with the sense of Kara's proximity. She would wake up each morning wrapped in Kara's strong arms, the gentle rise and fall of her chest against Lena's back serving as a soothing reassurance. The nightmares, which had once been an unrelenting torment, remained at bay, their usual grip loosening with every passing night.
Lena reveled in the comfort of Kara's embrace and her eyes often lingered on Kara's serene features as they lay tangled together under the covers. Yet, amidst the warmth of Kara's presence, Lena was fighting her feelings.
Lena's feelings for Kara deepened with every night they spent together, the lines between friendship and something more becoming more blurred each night. She found herself captivated by Kara's laughter, drawn to the way her eyes sparkled when she shared stories of her day, enchanted by her bashful grace.
But Lena couldn't ignore the growing questions that tugged at her thoughts. Why was Kara staying over so often? The skepticism that had once colored her perception of others now cast a shadow over her moments of happiness. Lena's heart raced, her mind a whirlwind of uncertainty as she tried to make sense of the situation.
One evening, as they sat together on Lena's couch, wrapped in a blanket and sipping tea, Lena's resolve solidified. The time had come to breach the subject that had been gnawing at her. She looked at Kara, her gaze a mixture of curiosity and concern. "Kara, is everything okay?"
Kara turned her head to meet Lena's eyes, her expression serene yet guarded. "Mm, yes, why?"
Lena's lips twitched into a half-smile, the tension in the room palpable. "You've spent the last fourteen nights here. Is there something going on? Not that I don't love having you stay over—I really do. But if you're having problems with your apartment or something, I can help."
Kara's blue eyes flickered, her gaze momentarily shifting before she leaned in closer to Lena. Her fingers, warm and tender, slipped beneath Lena's shirt, tracing a path over the jagged scar on Lena's abdomen. Lena's breath hitched as Kara's touch sent shivers of sensation through her.
"You know every night on patrol, I fly past your penthouse to check on you? Just to listen to your heartbeat and make sure you're okay." Kara's voice held a mix of vulnerability and sincerity, her fingertips mapping the contours of Lena's scar as if tracing a roadmap of the past. "Especially since everything with Lex, since he hurt you. I heard your nightmares every night, Lena, and it pained me to see you so broken. And when I stayed over that first night, I noticed that the nightmares didn't come. So I thought maybe if I stayed over, you could sleep better."
Lena's eyes glistened with unshed tears as Kara's words sank in, the depth of Kara's care astounding to her. She felt a lump forming in her throat.
"Sorry," Kara continued, "I know I should have told you, but I know you would think that I was inconveniencing myself or something. But I'm not. I want you to be okay, Lena, and I'll do anything for you. If I could undo what happened, I would. But I can't, so this is something I can do for you."
Lena was speechless. Tears pricked at the corners of Lena's eyes as Kara's words washed over her, a wave of emotions crashing against the walls she had carefully constructed around her heart. Kara's selflessness had left her utterly stunned, and Lena realized that no one had ever cared for her so deeply, so unconditionally before. She couldn't hold back the tears that spilled from her eyes, the floodgates of her emotions breaking open.
Kara. Sweet Kara. Always there for Lena, always looking out for her. Lena had never felt such profound love before.
Moved beyond words, Lena leaned forward, her heart pounding against her chest. Her hand found Kara's, their fingers intertwining. Kara's gaze on her held her captive.
The floodgates of vulnerability opened, and before she could think, before she could second-guess herself, she acted on the feelings she had been hiding for so long.
Lena leaned forward, her heart pounding in her chest as she pressed her lips against Kara's. The kiss was a confession, an unspoken declaration of every feeling she had hidden behind those walls for so long.
Kara froze for a second and Lena's heart stopped, but just as quickly, her lips began moving against Lena's- a soft, desperate kiss. There was a vulnerability in the way Kara kissed her back, a raw honesty that stripped away any doubts Lena may have had. Her heart felt like it was going to explode. Kara was kissing her back and in that moment, nothing else mattered.
Time seemed to stand still as their lips moved against each other. Lena's fingers trembled as they found their way to Kara's cheek, her touch gentle and filled with wonder. The taste of Kara's lips was a revelation.
As the kiss finally drew to a close, Lena pulled back slightly, her eyes fluttering open to meet Kara's gaze.
"Thank you," she whispered, “for being here.”
And Kara smiled that blindingly beautiful smile, and whispered, "Always" before crashing her lips against Lena's once more.

The Girl with the Glasses + Secret
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Notes before entering: Smut involved
You've always wanted to figure out who the good-looking girl with the glasses was.
Every time you were at the Dive Bar, she and her friends would show up.
You were pretty shy to approach her since you had butterflies in your stomach every time she showed up, you just wanted to ask her out, but you kept pushing yourself away because you thought you would screw up and scare her away.
You kept your distance and had an eye on her, little did you know she would look at you when you weren't looking.
It was awkward when she caught you looking at her, you would quickly look away and blush hard, her friends even noticed you looking at her and waved at you in which you waved back shyly.
You didn't know how to talk to girls (you liked) properly, you've never had good luck with them.
"I see you looking at her again Y/N" the bartender rested her elbow on the table after passing your drink.
"What? No no, I wasn't looking at her... I was... Looking at the thing behind her" you blushed trying to play it off.
"mhmm, don't lie, you're definitely giving her heart eyes when she ain't looking, I've caught you staring at her a lot within the past few weeks" she teased.
"I just *sigh* I want to know her; do you know her name?"
"Yes, I do, it's Kara Danvers, she comes here often with her friends and sister, judging from the fact you been looking at her, you're obviously interested in her" she continued.
"y-yes, fine I admit it... She just looks... Beautiful and I'm just too shy to even go up to her and talk normally, I don't feel confident" you watch as she laughs with her group of friends and sister, her smile is what made your heart ache, it made butterflies in your stomach just by looking at her, blushing as you thought about it.
"I'll tell you one thing, Kara has looked at you when you weren't looking, she knows you stare at her when she isn't looking, I understand that you're not good at talking to girls you like, my fiancé was like that when we first met" she said letting you know it's a good thing to be shy.
"If you want, I can get her to come over here and talk with you if that sounds better?" she asked.
"y-y-yeah... That sounds a bit better for me actually" you blushed lightly.
The bartender exits the counter and walks towards where Kara was with her friends and sister while you looked on and had thoughts running in your mind.
"What do I say? What do I say?" you thought to yourself "what do I ask her? How do I ask her?".
You stopped thinking as soon as you saw Kara behind the bartender approach you.
"hi" Kara greeted you while you looked at her shyly.
"h-hi" you chucked nervously, waving awkwardly at her.
"Y/N here wanted to know about you, he's bad at talking to girls he likes and didn't feel confident to approach you" the bartender said to Kara.
"Oh really?" she asked softly, raising her glasses back up to her eyes.
"y-yes, I didn't want to scare you away" you felt very embarrassed to admit it, you tuck her hands behind your back and looked down to the floor.
"Aww its ok, you don't need to feel embarrassed about it, Y/N, but I've never seen a boy be this shy before, and it's ok... I think it's cute" Kara comforts you and smiles, you blush and smile weakly, looking up at her to see her smile, butterflies were in your stomach still.
"I'll tell you what, how about you come to meet the rest my friends and sister? You'll feel a bit better after and honestly, I would like to know you more since your pretty adorable" she giggled softly and kept her cute smile on her face.
"I would... Like that" your smile grew brighter, you walked off with Kara and looked back at the bartender who give you a wink and thumbs up in which you smiled back.
"Kara's back, and oh? She's brought the boy with her" the red-haired female spoke out.
"Everyone, this is Y/N, as you know him as the shy boy who's been looking at me" Kara blushes a little thinking about it.
"hi" you waved, and half smiled.
"Hey Y/N, I'm Kara's sister, Alex" the red-haired female rose from her seat and offered you a handshake.
"Y/N this Is James, Winn, Maggie and J'onn" Kara introduced you to the others.
"J'onn?" you asked, looking at the man Kara pointed to.
"J'onn is a Martian and the director of the DEO, and I work at the DEO, so does Winn" Alex answered you.
"it's good to meet you Y/N" J'onn said with a smile on his face.
"Your sister is a DEO Agent? I wasn't expecting to hear that" you were shocked to hear what you just heard a few seconds ago.
"Kara was surprised when she found out I worked for the DEO, you're not the only one".
"Yep, I was as shocked as you are" Kara half smiles towards you.
"Which raises the question, where do you work Y/N?" James asked you.
"Well actually, I'm still looking for work, I just moved here 3 weeks ago, first friend I made here was the bartender" you told everyone.
"Ever thought of working at Cat-Co?" Kara asked.
"Cat-Co Worldwide Media? The uh... Reporter, news place like The Daily Planet in Metropolis?"
"Kara works at Cat-Co, she's a writer and reporter, it's her job" Winn mentions.
"Oh, that sounds interesting" you thought out loud.
"I used to work at The Daily Planet before moving here to work at Cat-Co, I'm actually the boss for now" James reveals.
"Yep, you're the boss alright" Kara chuckles.
"Well, technically I have written stories before, ever heard of Heroes of Olympus?" you spoke out.
"Yes, that story is popular around the world, wait... You helped write it with Rick Jordan?" Winn asked leaning in due to excitement.
"Yep, I helped Rick Jordan write out the stories, dating back to 2014 till now (2016) oh I almost forgot, my last name is L/N, if y'all are wondering" you chuckled, starting to get comfortable with the group as Kara smiled at you.
"No wonder your name sounded familiar, I'm such a huge fan of the books" Winn shakes your hand, honoured to recognise who you actually were.
"It would be nice to have someone like you at Cat-Co, just be aware that Snapper will be on your case sometimes" Kara didn't sound happy when mentioning Snapper.
"Guessing he's a grumpy too shoes?" you asked.
"Quite literally, yes".
(a few days later)
"Hey Y/N, welcome to your first day at Cat-Co" you walked into your new job and was greeted by James.
"Thanks James, I'm a bit nervous but I'll be fine" you said with a half-smile "where's Kara?"
The elevator dings and out comes Kara with written work and all kinds of stuff she takes with her.
"Oh hi!" she put down her belongings and swung her arms around the back of your neck, giving you a hug.
"Hey Kara" you wrap your arms around her, smiling brightly.
"I'm so glad you're here!" she was very excited.
James smiled as you and Kara pulled back, smiling into each other's eyes.
"Kara, you don't mind showing Y/N where he'll be working, I've gotta speak with Cat today about the business" James politely asked Kara.
"Yeah! I would love to!" she smiled and looked at you "c'mon, let's show you where you're working" she grabs her belongings and drags you with her, chuckling at how cute and happy Kara is right now... Until...
"Ponytail, you're late again".
"Oh, hello Snapper, what is it?" Kara's mood changed.
"Have you finished the report you were tasked to do? Because it's been 2 weeks!" he didn't sound happy at all, just grumpy.
"Who the hell is this?" he then asked, pointing rudely at you.
"That's Y/N L/N, he's the new one, and he's done writing before if you haven't just realised, he helped Rick Jordon write a Heroes of Olympus book back in 2014 to this year (2016)".
"Is that so? Well, I'll tell you something Y/N, we don't write fantasies and fiction here, so I hope you get that in your mind" he spat out.
"Have the report by my desk soon Danvers" he walked off, you looked back at him with a pissed off look.
"What an asshole, why does he work here just to harass people?" you asked with a facial expression of 'I really hate this guy'.
"Probably wakes up on the wrong side of the bed all the time, don't worry, I won't let him harass you like that" Kara replied "let's move on to the exciting part" her smile came back.
You walked past a few employees who were very kind to say hi or hello to you, you waved back at them and smiled.
Kara then turned round and smiled.
"We're here, you'll be working beside my office, James scheduled it to be your office beside mine so we're not apart from each other".
"Wow, that's nice of him, I'm guessing he knows you and I uh... Had our first date 2 days ago? Is that why my office is beside yours?"
"Maybe" Kara blushed bright red, hiding the fact she suggested the idea of having your office beside hers.
You continued on like she wasn't blushing, Kara showed you around the office, helping you set up what you needed, in return, you helped her with the stuff she was carrying.
"I'm just gonna pop Into Snapper's office and give him the report, wish me luck" Kara wasn't too pleased having to go and see him, she left your office and entered hers to grab the report she worked on.
You settled into your office, sighing happily...
* *
For the past 3-4 weeks, you've been working at Cat-Co alongside your new girlfriend Kara Danvers and since then, your life has started to change.
When planning dates, Kara had to cancel them one minute before you two would go on the date, mostly the dates were changed to be at her apartment instead, you understood she was busy at times.
It didn't bother you at all, what wasn't clear was her excuses, it seemed odd to you that Kara would act strangely at times, she would often leave Cat-Co and then come back either minutes or hours later.
It mostly happens when danger is reported on the TV or if she needs to excuse herself, she mostly took the door leading outside when leaving which was very strange, apparently no one seemed to notice or care.
She took an elevator once when excusing herself, you did hear her phone ring, "it must've been something important" you thought to yourself at the time.
At the moment, Kara was working in her office, and you decided to pop in to speak with her about her odd disappearances.
"Hey Y/N/N" she sounded happy you popped in and rose from her seat to kiss you on the cheek.
"Hey Kara, I wanted to ask you something?" you said to her, getting straight to the point.
"Yeah? Go ahead" she sat back down on her seat and spun her seat round to look at you.
"I um... Wanted to know why you've been disappearing lately?" you asked.
"Who me? Phfft, I haven't been disappearing, what are you on about?" she asked with a frown on her face.
"No I mean like, why you've been excusing yourself or, why you always come back hours later, it mostly happens when danger is reported on the TV's in the building and when you've answered your phone to Alex or someone else?" you were growing very concerned about the situation, you wanted to know why your girlfriend has been acting odd.
"Oh" her smile faded to a puzzled look on her face, she looked down to the floor for a few seconds before speaking "Y/N, I uh... Um... Can I tell you tonight at mine? I don't wanna say it here right now" she looked a bit weary.
"Um, y-yeah, sure I'll wait till tonight, I'm just gonna go back in my office to finish off writing a report. Love you" you kiss her on the cheek making her smile.
"Love you too" she says back before you left smiling.
Cut to tonight, Kara mostly left her apartment door unlocked since she knew you would be coming.
She was pacing in the room, thinking of ways to tell you her hidden secret, her cardigan was unbuttoned revealing the all too familiar S glyph Superman and Supergirl proudly wear on their suits except Kara's was genuine, she is Supergirl.
The door opens, she buttons up her cardigan and spins round to face you carrying a pizza box, good thing her glasses were on otherwise, you would've dropped the pizza box due to shock.
"Hey Kara, sorry I'm late, I went ahead and bought pizza at that Joe's Italian Shop, figured we'd have a surprise date"
Kara smiles "you're too generous" she giggles.
You walk over to Kara and place down the pizza box on the living room table and open it, revealing her favourite toppings on pizza.
"My favourite toppings as well?" she asked with a smile appearing on her face.
"yeah" you say looking at Kara lovingly "let's watch some TV"
You both dug in and sat on the couch with the blanket over the both of you, Kara had the last slice of pizza since you were too kind to let her have it, but what crossed your mind next was the question that needed an answer, her odd behaviour and disappearances.
"Hey uh, remember what I said in your office?" you looked to her with a questionable frown.
"Oh... Yeah, I almost forgot about that" she moves the blanket off her and stands up.
"What are you doing?" you asked confused.
"Listen Y/N, there's a secret no one else knows except my friends and sister"
"James, Winn, J'onn, Alex and Lena?"
"Lena? No, but the rest? Yes, I had a talk with Alex about telling you about my secret, it's something very, very important you must know about dating me, I've been keeping you safe this whole time" she said looking at you with a nervous look on her face.
"What do you mean by... 'keeping you safe?' Kara if that's the secret then, I'll be surprised you're also a DEO Agent" you crossed your arms with a half smirk.
"No, no, I'm not a DEO Agent... I work with the DEO to defend National City" she said proudly, making you confused even more.
"What are you on about? Kara, I need..."
She opens her cardigan, revealing the House of El glyph underneath and removes her glasses, turning into Supergirl.
Your eyes deceived you; Kara just revealed her big secret, she is Supergirl.
"Are you... Kidding me?" you looked at her in disbelief.
"no... I'm not kidding, this is real" she removes the layer of clothing on her body to reveal the entire suit underneath, she spins round as her cape and skirt spin with her along with her hair, smiling brightly.
"Wow... You're Supergirl... It all makes sense" you smiled looking her up and down.
"I guess you now know the answer to why I've been disappearing, on why I had to cancel those dates which I'm very sorry about still, I didn't think I would find someone I deeply care about, who is you" she looked at you with heart eyes.
You smiled as she climbed on top of you to give you a kiss which turned into a full on make our session, fighting for tongue dominance, rubbing each other softly.
It was then she went to kiss your neck, pecking it gently.
It was starting to make you feel aroused, she gave it a few more kisses before meeting your eyes.
"you've been a naughty boy Y/N" she started to sound suggestive, she went on her knees and then rips your jeans open with inhuman strength you've never seen before from Supergirl.
"Geez Kara, you really are turning me on by doing that" you smirked as the bump in your boxers grew bigger, making her smirk at it.
"let's see what's under here" she pulls down your boxers and out comes your manhood.
She licks her lips and takes a long lick up the shaft of your cock, making you rock your head back in pleasure.
She starts to give you a hand job for at least 10 seconds before taking it to the mouth, starting a blow job session.
She was slow with her bobbing, her hand reached down underneath her skirt as she started to pull down her pantyhose and pleasure herself.
"You taste good Y/N" she teased before going right back to sucking your cock.
You rocked your head back in pleasure, your breathing got heavier until you started groaning in pleasure as she started to speed up with her bobbing, eventually gagging in pleasure as the tip of your cock hit the back of her throat, covering your manhood with her saliva.
"Kara" you breathed out her name in pleasure.
You felt yourself ready to release but she stopped and grabbed your testicles gently.
"nuh uh, not yet" she smirked, Kara takes you by the hand and brings you to the bedroom.
She shoves you on the bed gently and climbs on the bed after removing her pantyhose, skirt and boots, proceeding to kiss you passionately while stroking your cock slowly.
Her super strength was dampening, allowing her to properly have sex without the worry of breaking you in half.
You two fought for tongue dominance as you moaned softly in between kisses due to her stroking your cock.
You two stop to breathe for a moment.
"Y/N, I think I'm ready" she breathed out softly.
"You sure? I haven't got a..."
"Shh shh" Kara placed her index finger on your lips to stop you from talking "don't worry, it'll be fine" she smirks.
Kara proceeds to climb on top of you, her cape rests on your legs as she gets into cowgirl position, guiding your cock into her erect pussy.
Her folds wrap around your tip and Kara slams down gently just in case if her super strength isn't dampened, she moans softly feeling your cock enter her pussy fully.
"Oh, Rao you're so hard in me Y/N, ah yes!" Kara moaned out; her breathing started to get heavier.
In between her slow bounces, you thrust lightly into her, hitting her g-spot softly which made her moan lightly each time.
You groan in pleasure the more her pussy gets tighter.
"Oh, fuck me Kara, you are fucking tight!" you groan out, feeling nothing but pleasure.
Kara's soft moans combined with your low groans was now echoing in the room and by chance the neighbour next door on the left could hear it but thankfully no one was in at the time.
"Go faster Kara" you breathe out.
"You sure?" she was concerned about it.
"Yes, if you break me in *groan* half, it's my fault".
Kara acknowledged you and proceeded to bounce up and down faster as you did the same, the slapping sounds got louder as the moans and groans did.
"OH, RAO YES!!" Kara yelped, moaning loudly as she felt your cock hit her g-spot more and more often.
You rock your head back once again, feeling waves of pleasure in your nerves.
The climax was arriving, you had to warn Kara before it would happen.
"Oh fuck! Kara, I'm gonna bust!" you groaned loudly.
"I'm gonna cum too!!!" she shouted out in pleasure before the magic happened, you burst inside her earning a happy yelp from Kara as she orgasms after you.
A plump sound is heard, Kara gets off of you and lies down beside you, looking up at the ceiling as cum flows out of her.
"Wow... That-that was fun" you whispered.
"Yeah, I agree, for our first time? I enjoyed it" she smiles at the thought "I'm just surprised I didn't break you in half accidentally" she wondered how it worked, she did feel a bit weaker when she got more and more horny.
"let's clean up and cuddle in bed, don't mind if I sleep with you?" you asked.
"Took the words out of my mouth" Kara smirks...

Supergirl may have saved me…
I'll love you forever, even from afar: the one where they were never really "just friends"...but rather destined to be each other's "forever maybe's" [S2-S6]
My dearest Kara,
You will probably never receive this, but I meant what I said earlier: that Supergirl may have saved me, but you were my hero.
I know you and Supergirl are friends, so I hope you don’t take offence to anything I say. I will always look up to Supergirl, and I do appreciate her saving me, but she isn’t who I think about the most.
As much as Supergirl does for me, I can’t help but be reminded of everything that being an Luthor entails. When I’m around Supergirl, I’m always reminded of my last name…of who I am; and the good and bad that comes with it. But when I’m with you, I don’t feel like Lena Luthor: CEO and family member of the Supers’ greatest enemy. I feel…like Lena. Just Lena. Just a girl, standing in front of another girl, scared that there might be something there…but also hoping that perhaps it’s more than “just something”.
I spent a lot of time thinking while in that jail cell, and even now I still can’t understand why you stood by my side…or how you remained fixed in that decision. I have little doubt that everyone in your life called you a fool, called you too trusting. And yet, despite all that—despite video evidence—you remained unwavering, and you will never know how much that meant means to me. I suppose I will never know the answer, and perhaps you don’t either, but I promise to do my best to deserve it. I promise to earn the light that you give me.
I don’t think I ever properly thanked you. Truthfully, I’m not sure I ever could. But still, thank you for your belief in me. Thank you for not seeing me as just another Luthor. Thank you for making me see that my last name doesn’t define me. Thank you for making me feel deserving of all that you give me; for every ounce of kindness, love, and appreciation. Thank you for seeing me the way that I want to be seen. Thank you for making me feel special; for never making me feel less than extraordinary. Just…thank you. For everything.
Sometimes it scares me how easily you were able to tear down my defenses, how you were able to become a person of such importance in so little time. I remember the first time you invited me to game night, I told you I didn’t come to National City to make friends. I tried to push you away, but you wouldn’t give in. Although, if I’m being honest, part of me always hoped you would fight for me—and you did.
When you are around, I feel like you give me everything, and in turn, so do I.
Forever your “maybe someday”, Lena

Supercorptober - 11. Emerald
***************************
Emerald. The core of her home planet, her energy supply and the last thing she ever saw of her dying world.
Until Lex Luthor found it and used it as a weapon against Kal, bringing Superman to his knees on national television.
The people closest to your heart are the ones most able to hurt you, Kara knew. But she didn’t know it applied to objects, too.
She didn’t know how everything she had ever loved could suddenly turn into a weapon against her - her planet’s core, a torturous poison, her baby cousin, a grown-up stranger, her lovely aunt, a world conqueror, her noble parents, genocidal criminals, her adoptive sister, slayer of Astra.
But for a while, things had settled and Kara had slipped into forgetful bliss.
And now- now Kara knew she was stupid to think the curse could have ever stopped.
***************************
“You’ve made Kryptonite?” No, not you, not you, too. Anyone but you.
“You will hand over the formula to the DEO, and destroy any remaining Kryptonite, and you will never make it again.”
Supergirl had overcome the Worldkillers, Lena had promised to tell her about any further Kryptonite synthesis, and the story had stopped there.
****************************
“J’onn? J’onn, this is Agent Danvers. I think we have a problem. Kara is not acting like herself. In the beginning, it was harmless, but she’s starting to scare me, and she won’t talk to me-“
“”
“Yes. Yes, okay, I’ll try to localise her and keep you posted.”
“”
“Thank you, J’onn.”
****************************
Kara landed on Lena’s L-Corp balcony late into the night, having ditched her comms and her usual suit to avoid Alex’s relentless tracking.
She was dressed in a black fitted suit inherited from her aunt, her blond curls sharp against the dark material, the glowing red vein in her neck starkly visible in the dusk’s feeble light.
Lena heard a knock on her balcony’s door and her heartbeat sped up.
Supergirl. Her first reflex was to snark, but the hero looked different, less polished, more angular and threatening than Lena had ever seen her - truer to herself, Lena thought.
So Lena opted for the safe approach, rising from her leather chair in a smooth motion and opening the balcony door.
“Supergirl. To what do I owe this pleasure?”
“I would like to talk to you, Ms. Luthor. Privately. There are things that you need to know, things that I want to tell you, but I am being watched as we speak. So, if you would allow me-“
“You want to fly me.”
The black-clad hero nodded, and Lena’s face hardened.
“I don’t trust you, Supergirl. You have never treated me fairly, and I do not feel comfortable putting myself in your hands.”
The blonde’s lips pulled into an appreciative smile, and Lena felt shivers run down her spine.
“Very well. Then I assume you have secluded and protected spaces at your disposal?”
Lena acquiesced slowly, obscuring the windows of her office with a command muttered under her breath. The balcony’s door closed automatically, and Lena led the blonde outside her office, stepping into the corridor and pressing her hand against the wall three times.
Green light pulsed under the CEO’s fingers and a portion of the wall pivoted open, revealing a sizeable, empty room, without windows or furniture, the walls blank to the naked eye.
The walls closed behind them and Kara’s X-Ray vision was obscured completely.
Lead.
“This space is safe, Supergirl. You can speak freely - whatever you would like to say.”
The hero hummed, facing the CEO and standing straight.
“Safe for whom?”, she wondered out loud, but Lena scoffed and Kara waved her hand dismissively.
“Forget it. I did not come here to fight.”
They were standing face to face, the lack of furniture depriving them the luxury of sitting down.
“Very well. The first thing you should know is that I was exposed to red Kryptonite.”
Lena’s eyes widened imperceptibly, her lips quickly pursing in distaste as her left eyebrow rose.
“So you came all this way to accuse me, is that it? Even for you, Supergirl, this seems extremely convoluted.”
The blonde chuckled. “This is not it, Ms. Luthor."
“Then, what is it? Has the DEO proved its incompetence again? Do you need a cure that they cannot provide?”
“Oh, no, I don’t need a cure. The symptoms are not physical - red Kryptonite affects brain chemistry and reduces inhibitions to a level close to zero. And I didn’t come to accuse you. I know exactly who the culprit is - a stupid man named Maxwell Lord.”
“Then, what did you come here for?”
“How interesting,” Kara mused, as she started slowly circling around the CEO.
“What is?” Lena inquired.
“You don’t seem afraid of me at all.”
“This version of you is actually easier to deal with than your usual self-righteous self.” Lena admitted, and Kara’s laugh rung out in the empty space.
“Tell that to my sister.”
“You have a sister?”
“Lena, Lena, Lena. Are we still playing this game?”
“What game?”
“The game where you pretend you don’t know who I am, and where I pretend you’re not smart enough to have already figured it out.”
“I- I don’t know what you are talking about, Supergirl.”
“Really, now? I don’t blame you for not wanting to see - I treated you horribly, after all, but I think we both deserve some honesty. So, let’s start from the beginning, shall we?”
Kara stopped in front of Lena, executing a bow reminiscent of medieval times, and raised her head as she spoke.
“I am Kara Zor-El, heir of the El family and last daughter of Krypton. On this planet, I am known as Kara Danvers or Supergirl - though both are but shallow facets of a role I was forced to play.”
Lena stood for a moment, her lips parted and her brow furrowed, her green eyes pensive and guarded.
“Why are you telling me this now? What do you want from me?”
“I want you to stop trying to protect Kara Danvers. I want you to stop being afraid around Supergirl. I want you to hold me accountable as both my selves. I want you to know me and I want you to have me.”
Lena shook her head. “This is the red Kryptonite talking. Supergirl would never say something like this, would never endanger or entrust her identity to a Luthor-“
“I am not them, nor am I simply the sum of the two. I don’t need to be protected - and I am done hiding from you.”
“How can I trust anything you’re saying? How can I trust that you’re not manipulating me again, telling me what I want to hear?”
“You can’t. You can't trust me, and, quite frankly, you shouldn't. But you can trust yourself. Trust your darkness, calling mine.”
Kara took one step closer. Lena didn’t move.
“Your instincts when they tell you I won’t hurt you.”
Kara took one more step, getting dangerously near.
“You can trust your gut when it feels more at ease with Kara Zor-El than it ever did with Supergirl.”
Kara raised one hand and caressed Lena’s cheek, swiping her thumb gently on Lena’s lower lip, leaving a trail of goosebumps and a galloping heart in her wake.
“Your lips when they beg for my touch.”
Her hand slid down on Lena’s hips.
“Your skin shivering under my fingers.”
Her movements halted and her voice became a murmur.
“You can trust how much you want this,” she whispered against Lena’s lips.
And Lena surrendered in a breath and a surge forward, her lips crashing against crimson steel, her hands roaming the leather clad shape with barely concealed hunger.
Red pulsed on Kara’s throat and Lena kissed it, following the ominous light up to the goddess’s jaw, nipping and biting at the invulnerable skin as Kara slowly sunk to her knees for her.

Her Silver Tongue, a Supercorp fic
Rated E, 6.3k words, 1/1 complete
Before she can react, Kara feels it. Something spherically curved and hard moves between the plane of her tongue and the roof of her mouth. The solid, round indiscernible object slips over the edge of Kara’s lips as Lena retracts the wet muscle of her tongue to move in for another kiss.
“Oh,” Kara says suddenly, pulling away to brush her fingertips over her lips. Realization dawns on her thickly. “You have a tongue piercing.”
Kara makes a discovery about her new girlfriend, Lena.
Read it on AO3 here.
