This is massive! We reached 361€! The same day I get a donation from #suomiscene massif I also get a support call from Diskreet of TPOLM and then we returned them together at the nearest shop and got this amazing haul of 35,55€! Which has brought us up to 9,86%! Amazing! We’re so close to 10% that it hurts.

Hey! Suomiscene in the house! I got a call from the main guy of Boozembly disorganizing, Kakka/Damones and he asked if I’m still doing my project. Well, yes sirree bob I am, and so I did a midnight run to Kulosaari and found.. This!

Here we are, at 325€! That’s pretty hot, you didn’t expect to see that, right?

So, I was discussing the enormous amount of moneys that PandoraMusic had deposited on my CDBaby account, and the conversation got out of hand - I got asked for the URL for my deposit-blog. I posted it. Kakka/Damones asked if I’d be interested in visiting his premises so that he could lob a bag in my general direction. I was, and I was there the next day.

And I hit the nearest LIDL, and slammed in 128 pieces of containers o’ drink.

And the result was, I kid you not, double digits of 26,25€.

Which brings us over 5%! And close to 5,1% too!

That’s right, the infamous Brainlez Coders! has now officially supported this project for the second third time. I got a call from Kryo/bC! telling me that there might be a bag of bottles and cans waiting for me in Hakaniemi.

And so there was! I quickly exited Helsingin Työttömät Ry for the day, and went for a visit.

The resultant 5,35€ brings us ever so close to.. what?

440,60€ + 5,35€ = 445,95€ / 558,90 = 79,790660225%

That’s right, we at 79,79%!

When you manage to ram your car full of bottles and cans, something like this can happen. I went to a place and just started gathering and gathering and gathering. Two and a half hours later, I was exhausted and drove to the LIDL in Herttoniemi and started jamming cans and bottles in until I ran out.

I’d love to tell all the details, techniques etc that I discovered while gathering these, but I’m thinking I gotta keep something to myself too.

It’s been a very long weekend, starting from three days at Boozembly and one elsewhere. It’s also been extremely productive re: the blog.

Thursday I was at 132,85€ and 22,94%. Today, you see me at 298,35€+96,95€ = 395,30€. That’d be 68,28467784%. I do wonder if 75% could be possible before the end of 2016.

Thanks to everyone who helped! Come Tuesday, me and the Fiancee are out of the country for 2 weeks, so it’ll be quite hard to update the blog... Sorry in advance!

So I took the rest of those 2,5 trashbags with me to LIDL, and approximately 45 minutes later emerged with four different receipts. The first bag, gathered from Boozembly’16 was a nice 40,70€.

This was followed by the second bag, which was 33,25€.

Then there was that “one that got away” can that belonged to either one of the previous ones, but I only discovered it while cramming the plastic bags into the trash bin.

Then the real fluke, which was me and the Fiancee going to Boozembly’16 at 5am, and picking up a few stray bottles in the rain. Even that was 9,05€!

So.. In total, 83,15€.

Now, putting all of that and what’s in The Box together, we emerge with the stratospheric 243,80€

I hesitate to calculate the percentage..

We just jumped from 27,75% to 42,11435481%!!

Yup, that’s 42,1143% left of the total price of 578,90€ that Verkkokauppa currently charge for an Apple iPhone SE 64Gb Space Gray.

I hope I’ll be able to secure a base of operations tonight...

#suomiscene in the house!

Kakka/Damones suddenly hit me up on Facebook Messenger and asked if I still collect bottles for my project. Then we picked a day, and I drove to Eastern Helsinki and got 4 massive bags full of cans and plastic bottles and glass bottles. Thank you so very much!

I knew it was gonna be a lot. I just didn’t know it would be enough to get an actual bank note!

Not only that, but.. Well, if you’ve been following this blog for the nearly 2 months it has existed, you’ll make an educated guess and you’ll be correct.

47,65€ + 22,10 = 69,75€!!!!!

Which brings me up to the real actual announcement...

We just zoomed right past 10% into 11,64635164%!!

Not sure what could top this day, but I have a good idea as to what it could be :)
