More music video than movie, this feels like a late night special on VH1. It does make me wish Jennifer Beals had a better career, but we'll always have The L Word. 4/10.

Mini-review:

This was basically the buzziest horror movie of the year and, fortunately, it mostly lives up to the hype. Pretty much all the scenes with the hand thingy are incredibly gripping and intense, to the point of giving me a bit of anxiety. Also, I just love how original the whole idea feels. Like, I know we've seen tons and tons of possession movies and stuff like that, but Talk to Me manages to give the genre a twist that feels super refreshing. Kudos must be given to the sound design and the score, which immerse the viewer in the film's world from the very first scene. And the script tends to include moments of very dark humor that made me laugh out loud. Last but not least, I need to commend Sophie Wilde's bravura performance. Tbh, the one complaint I have is that the movie sometimes struggles to keep a steady pace. So, yeah, Talk to Me is a pretty scary and refreshing horror film, and I'm really curious to see where it will go as a franchise.

Phineas and Ferb episode where Candace sees Jeremy's name in her NYT mini crossword and thinks it's a sign they're getting broken up (since nothing good comes from those stupid things, like aglets). Phineas and Ferb, meanwhile, build a gigantic crossword you need to drop letter bombs on to get the answer right, which is spread over the entire town, yet Linda doesn't notice because she and Lawrence are debating if it's party rockers in the house or party rock is in the house (I think we all know who's getting it wrong).

Meanwhile, Doof's evil plan is the "Wordlestrat-inator", by which he plans to steal everyone's first Wordle guess strategy so he can finally get it in one, as his usual first guess "Perry" never works. Norm suggests "Norms" but Doof says that's dumb. Eventually, the inator gives Doof a giant head full of words, probably sings a song ("can I have a word?") And ends up... Failing anyway. Once Perry destroys it, the words spill out of Doof, and 5 letters fall on the crossword just as Candace is being reassured by Jeremy he would love her no matter what a dumb crossword says.

The letters spell out Norms. Norm says "bingo!", doof says "you're out of the will again", and the crossword disappears, while Linda finally teaches Lawrence that it's party rock is in the house tonight. Then they make put aggressively idk
