Since she was a child Dilan and her family have been stealing. When she was thirteen she got more into more conning people, especially men, for money. They could be someone that she met between thirteen and five years ago before she came to Lunar Cove.

Dilan’s sister would have researched them, then the con was on with Dilan’s crime family playing various roles throughout the time they were together. Dilan would have probably gotten engaged to them or even ‘married’ (it would not be legal) to them. Then after she knew she could secure the money she ditched out.

Also during this time Dilan would have used a fake name and identity. When she left she would have made sure to remove as many pictures/videos/etc of herself that she could. Leaving them basically with a ghost.

Dilan would have left X a message not to follow her or try to find her. Unfortunately for Dilan they have been searching for her since then. They weren’t able to find her until now when all the clues and trails lead to Dilan.

Rather they had feelings or it’s just the principle of it all now is completely up to you and we can discuss it.

I’m very much hoping for an Imposters (It’s on netflix/bravo) vibe. I’ll link some inspo below. I’ve always pictured X very much being like Ezra. Someone who became fascinated with the con and became a part of it because they wanted to find Dilan, but also because it gave them a new life and made them feel alive.

✒ BACKGROUND: A Covaire City native wolf, Jun-yeong was born in April 1780 to a family of Jacks of all trades. His father was a Master and his mother a civilian, placing him in a position that could give him access to the elites of the city. He loved his large family but found himself bored with the city, and when he turned 40, he left in search of adventure.

For a while, he found enjoyment in studying the occult and advising gullible humans on how to defend themselves in Europe. His origin often fascinated people into thinking he was some sort of sage. But after a few decades of touring the continent, he grew bored again and decided to find the country his family had originated from. He spent most of his time travelling between Japan and the southern part of Korea.

A whole century passed before he made his way back to Covaire in the early 1900s. The city hadn’t changed much, and he was happy to see his family. But during his absence, tragedy had struck; five of his eight siblings had been killed by the Alpha (Lazarus Grey) for attempting and failing a coup on him. Luckily for the rest of his family, his father proved his loyalty by executing his traitor children. From that moment on, Jun-yeong promised himself that he would never let these kind of treacherous feelings consume him like his siblings. A year passed and he left once more, unable to live with the shame of his family. He became a killer for hire.

He spent the next decades between central Africa, China and India, until his next passion brought him back to Seoul, South Korea, where he learned mechanics. The complexity of each car he got his hands on fascinated him and he realised that mechanics had to be his path. In the following year, he also became a painter, slowly developing a clientele for custom paint jobs, whether for average people or street racers.

The 21st century made communication easier and Jun-yeong came back less and less frequently to visit. But at the end of July 2015, hunters returned to the city in the hope of destroying Covaire once and for all, with the help of a virus that only affected the supernatural. It was while they were in a weakened state that his whole family was decimated by either the plague, the hunters or those who had turned their backs on the city. Heartbroken, Jun-yeong cremated the bodies of his family and brought their ashes back to South Korea, where his line had originate from.

A few years later, he heard rumours of slavery being abolished and it got him curious. He spent so long walking away from where he was born, but destiny always brought him back here. Truth be told, he could still forget the past and move on while working at Lux Auto Care.

He’s been in the city since six months after slavery was abolished.

✒ PERSONALITY: Because he wasn’t groomed to be a Master, Jun-yeong had to satisfy himself with his mother’s rank; a civilian, and that was more than alright for him to a certain degree. Jun-yeong is a fearless and confident wolf, mechanic and painter. He relishes in every challenge presented to him and never backs down from a new adventure, as long as the reward is power, money or sex. Though, while he’s travelled all around the world and is very in-touch with this modern era, he’s old-school when it comes to his manners. But underneath that beautiful facade hides a wolf who will lie, cheat and kill to defeat or get the upper hand on those he sees as his enemies, and he also has a great disdain for anyone doing something against the city since it is a reminder of his siblings’ betrayal. He will, quite often, give out a goofy attitude to confuse and manipulate people when he needs something.

He has few friends, but will be loyal to a fault and devoted to the ones he has.

When it comes to sex, he’s versatile with people of the same or lower rank than him, but under no circumstances would he ever bottom for a client unless it was the Alpha himself.

Because of his age and heritage on his father’s side, he’s both exasperated and cross when he’s talked down to by clients.

Beyond that, he has no problem with most types of personalities, but has a hard time with emotionally dependent people. He likes only having to take care of himself.

Her family was for the arrangement, while yours was hardly pleased, choosing to cut your character off as punishment for canceling his previous engagement to his betrothed- an arrangement they had set up before he was even born- and choosing Devin instead

Devin & your character would end up having 3 children and would have been trying for a 4th when Alina decided to get revenge on Devin by setting their home on fire (SEE PLOT PAGE/DEVIN’S BIO FOR MORE DETAILS)

When Devin rushed to reach her family, your character and their kids remained locked inside

Before Devin could parish in the fire herself, Alina emerged through the smoke and turned her. Devin would go on punishing herself for what she believed to be the death of your character. Only, little did she know your character was able to escape - UP TO YOU AS TO HOW (COULD HAVE BEEN A SUPERNATURAL CREATURE ALREADY/TURNED BY ALINA ETC. COMPLETELY OPEN TO IDEAS)

They would have bumped into each other for the first time since then maybe around 30 to 100 years ago. Anytime in that range. And now, they’d have more of an antagonistic dynamic where they can’t help, but get under each other’s skin.
