So, as I’m sure a lot of the community knows at the moment, my friend Dev’s laptop broke leaving them unable to gif and work on their commissions which is a really important source of income for them. To help mitigate the damage caused by this, I’ve decided to re-release my Katherine McNamara packs as paid packs, with a couple extra new gifs I never released as well. 100% of the proceeds goes directly to Dev, so hopefully this helps a bit. Because of the amount of packs there are in this post, and how varied these projects are, I'd probably have to write 100 tws if I tried to list every trigger warning for every pack, so I strongly recommend checking "Does the Dog Die" and the content warnings there for each project you're interested in. I think pretty much all of these packs have a tw for flashing lights though, so if you're susceptible to them, that is something to keep in mind.

I'm in love with my boy but I headcanon him as an orthorexic and mostly vegan/hardcore vegetarian.

yeah, in series we can see him throwing a barbecue party but that's not what I'm talking about.

in s01e01 coach said he knows his body and mind well. yeah, our master of self-care has a strict eating rules and habits. I can't say he doesn't eat, because he does. i think he was raised by an almond mom, which kinda fucked up his mindset about food. he feeds strikas well, he loves to cook, especially for his husband but rasta is anxious 24/7 about eating.

also, i can't imagine his fridge otherwise than a lot of vegetables and almond milk and diet coke in s tiny cans and and and and !!! absolutely no sugar. a lot of different types of nuts and oat flakes, maybe some peanut butter but not too much.

good capitans have control, right?

and he is the best of them, right?

he desperately wants to be the most perfect man in the fucking superleague.

Chapter #7: LaGuardia Airport

“Nate,” Clint chided, as the four-year-old bounced excitedly in his seat, hopped up on sugar from way too many Lifesavers and rejuvenated from his three-hour nap, “just relax. We can’t go anywhere until all the people in front of us have cleared out, so it's going to be a minute.”

“—ey —ou-d go after,” Nate grumped, throwing himself back into his seat to punctuate each syllable, making his words even more difficult for Clint to understand over the tinnitus that had resurfaced during landing.

“Hey!” Clint scolded, his tone sharper than intended, fueled by the agitation and slight headache brought on by the constant whine. “Stop bouncing around. We’re gonna leave as soon as we can leave, but until then you need to sit quietly.”

Nate harrumphed, throwing himself back into his seat one more time, before crossing his arms over his chest in a pout.

“Dad,” Cooper called from where he was half-standing, half-leaning into the back of his chair. “When are we eat—- dinner?”

“I thought we all decided on ordering pizza at the hotel?” Clint replied, nudging Lila to stand so he could start retrieving their luggage now that some space in the aisle had opened up.

“How -ong is bat gonna be?”

“I don’t know,” Clint answered with a slight grunt as he handed Cooper his suitcase. “It’ll be about an hour until we get to the hotel, probably another until it’s delivered.”

“Two hour-!” Coop exclaimed.

“I warned you guys it was going to be a late dinner,” Clint reminded him, pulling the last of their bags down out of the overhead, “but you all insisted that that’s what you wanted.”

“I know,” Cooper whined, “but—I’- practica—y starting out.”

“You’re practically what?” Clint asked, brow furrowed in confusion.

“Oh pie god, Cooper,” Lila cut in, rolling her eyes incredulously. “You ju-t ate bike—an entire bag of Dorito- and a who-e box o- mini-donut-.”

“No?”

“No, prepare is no way you’re quit hungry.”

Clint snorted out a laugh. “Never underestimate the appetite of a teenage boy,” he told Lila, digging an apple out of his backpack. “They’re always hungry.

“Here,” he said, as he handed Cooper the piece of fruit. “This is all that’s left of the snacks, except for the Lifesavers, and you’re not loading up on anymore junk. It’s bad enough we’re getting pizza for dinner on top of the fast-food we had for lunch.”

“It’- not pretty is it?” Cooper asked, taking the apple and turning it over in his hand, scrutinizing it.

Clint blinked at the obvious mishearing, but before he could suss it out on his own or ask for clarification, Nate chimed in.

“I ju-t want -ore die trader-.”

Clint frowned, his frustration mounting as he continued to struggle. “More what?”

“Candy, Daddy,” Nate told him happily, prompting a strained wryly chuckle from Clint.

“The last thing you need is more candy,” he argued, reaching down to tickle Nate’s stomach, eliciting a giggle. “Come on,” he encouraged as the people in front of them finally started to exit the cabin. “Let’s get outta here.”

Cooper led the way down the narrow aisle, followed by Lila and then Nate. The latter making his Captain America figurine leap from seat to seat.

“Nate,” Clint called out once they were finally off the plane and onto the passenger boarding bridge, “hand.”

The four-year old’s face fell, his expression betraying the whine Clint couldn’t hear, as he took hold of his father’s hand without argument. “I need to go to –e back root.”

“Bathroom?” Clint clarified, as they continued down the bridge. “Ok. We’ll find one as soon as we meet up with our driver. Alright?”

“I can’t be-ie-e bartend— a car to pick u- up,” Lila crooned. “Are gray coating to be ho-di— a wine near our na-e on it bike in beautie-?”

Clint sighed, mind heavy as he started to feel the effects of listening fatigue. “Can we just–hold all the questions until we’re in the car? Please.”

“Cure,” Lila replied, offering a tight-lipped smile that only served to fuel the guilt that had already settled in his chest.

“Thanks,” he conceded, grateful for when they exited the bridge and he immediately caught sight of their driver. The man was tall and pale, average build with salt and pepper hair shaved down to stubble where it wasn’t balding. He was dressed in a black suit with a long jacket, holding a ‘Barton’ sign.

I have to talk about the stunning piece of art that is Steven Universe. Or I may explode.

(don’t worry, there will be no spoilers - and please don’t put any in your reblogs/replies.)

I realize this isn’t the usual purview of this blog. I try not to talk about my fandoms here (I think I’ve done so only once? I’m uncomfortable making things about myself). But RP from the beginning has been in one part critique of the world of animation, and I would be remiss if I didn’t point out where animation was done right.

Because by my estimation, nothing’s done better than Steven Universe in a while.

I’m not going to rattle off a checklist of why you might be into the show. There’s plenty of writeups that do that. Instead, I’m going to tell you about one aspect that cemented my undying respect for @stevencrewniverse​ and showrunner Rebecca Sugar.

In animation, it’s common to save up your budget for big, difficult sequences. In almost every circumstance, that means action sequences, crowd scenes, capital-B Big Moments. A giveaway for where a production places its emphasis is when the animation moves to being "on 1s” - that is, providing a new drawing/pose every frame instead of, say, every other frame (”on 2s”).

Where Steven Universe goes to 1s is different.

It’s on quiet moments. A nervous walk backwards. A swarm of butterflies. A hug.

I don't know how many people pick up on this sort of thing when they watch, but it speaks so loudly to me. It tells me that the arguments they had, they had over budgeting these moments. It speaks of the care, the gentleness, the years of therapy that they want to share. It says that this is what they were fighting for.

It humbles me.

I realize I may be preaching to the choir, but I couldn’t chance that one of you out there hadn’t gotten into the show yet. The first four seasons are on Hulu. It starts a little slow, but if you want a fast-forward version to get to the heart of what the show’s really about, I recommend watching in this order:

Desperate Housewives Summary-S01E01 Pilot

One day, Mary Alice Young who was a happy and perfect housewife suddenly shoots her head with a gun and commits suicide. Her funeral was held and four other housewives who were Mary’s close neighbourhood friends also attended.

One is Lynette who used to be a career woman, but is now a full-time mum with 4 small kids,

Susan is a single mother with a teenage daughter and also a picture book writer,

Bree is a charismatic impeccable housewife who does everything flawlessly with 2 kids

Gabrielle is a beautiful housewife who used to be a famous fashion model and married the wealthy businessman Carlos.

Lynette is always getting frustrated with a lot of household chores and parenting because her husband Tom has not been home due to many business trips.

Susan likes the plumber, Mike who just moved in this suburban town, but unfortunately, she has a clever rival who also a divorcee called Edie. Every housewife seems to have a secret

Gabrielle has an affair with their gardener. And Bree is not appreciated by her family despite being a perfect wife and mother, what’s more, one day she is shocked by her husband who told her he wanted to divorce her.

Mary Alice’s family also seemed to have a secret, since her son noticed his father was digging something under his pool.

Moreover, Mike seemed to be looking for something with a handgun.

One day Susan suspects Edie and Mike were together that night, therefore pretending to get some sugar, she intrudes into Edie’s house. Due to her invasion, Edie's house burned down. Contrary to Susan's expectations, she is relieved because Mike was not with Edie at the time.

Also, please don’t come @ me but I really love the “Queens Behaving Badly” challenge. I know AS1 is a cursed season and everybody hates it but to me, the season is so entertaining and that challenge in particular is SO funny!

Oh lord, so many to choose from haha but these are the first two that come to mind…

Jade Jolie’s favorite body part outfit. When I saw her walking the runway in this outfit I was so confused ??

Dusty Ray Bottoms’ feather runway. She looks like a bird that was run over by a truck. Bless her.

16) Who should’ve been on All Stars 1? 

Um, this is kinda hard question because I don’t think the cast of AS1 could be any more iconic. But I would love to see Mariah there too, mainly because of that episode of Drag U that has Mariah, Juju and Raven as professors… they’re HILARIOUS together!! Reality tv gold, baby.

19) Favorite untucked episode?

All Stars S01E01 - iconic. 

2) Which queen would you cry if you met?

I would try not to cry in front of any of them, that would be embarrassing sdjhkdjasd but I would probably cry after meeting Raven and Raja because I love them so much ❤

4) If 1 queen were to guest judge, who would you chose?

PANGINA HEALS!!!!!! But I would also LOVE to see Pabllo Vittar as a guest judge. I’m sure they would be amazing guests! 

10) Which queen did you dislike in the show, and now is a big fan of?

Jinkx Monsoon. But I wouldn’t call myself a BIG fan, I just like her more now. During season 5 I thought she was so annoying but now she makes me laugh, she’s like that crazy drunk aunt at the family reunion lol

The perfect lipsync would be Kennedy Davenport vs Chi Chi Devayne. But I’d also love to see Raja lip-syncing against Raven. Who would win? BOTH!

Honey Mahogany vs Vivienne Pinay. I could take a nap watching that lip sync.
