Thoughts on the epilogue (spoilers of course):

Arven stuttering in the phone call over wanting to hang out at my house, getting flustered when Nemona and Penny tag along because he wanted to hang out alone? Ohohohoh this is why I ship him with my character lol

Penny makes a very... interesting comment about the player's mom. My brain went from "hehe Penny gay confirm" to "PENNY IS A MILF LOVER?"

Okay every talked about how good the Wano arc is and so far it’s been REALLY good but nobody mentioned how FUN this arc is! I’m having so much fun watching it!

… the slow realization Maamane/Sophocles liked konpeito (sugar stars) and offered it to Hoshigumo/Nebby, but had repressed the memory of the Meteno/Minior's death, the one he befriended as a small child, because he couldn't cope with how sad and shocking it was back then.

Meteno/Minior look like konpeito... Maamane/Sophocles also loved the idea of exploring space, but was also afraid of the dark, I did wonder if it was just the common childhood fear, or it it's because of the sight of these star-like Pokemon disintegrating into nothing against a dark night sky...

So, the konpeito might have been foreshadowing for the Meteno/Minior episode... it might've been something Maamane/Sophocles was drawn to because of the Meteno, even though he blocked the memory.

(Similarly, in the anime, there's no indication Lusamine forced Lillie to dress the way she did, so while that's a possibility, it's also possible to theorize she could've been drawn to white and wide-brimmed hats resembling Utsuroid/Nihilego due to the trauma, while the memory itself was repressed, the same way she was averse to touching Pokemon, due to the trauma, but couldn't recall why.)

I realized why I got that ask about The Last Sumo Warrior event midway through the first part of Chapter 5. XD Djeeta finally got to passionately hold Narmaya’s “dreamy body” as much as she wanted, good for her!

This bodes well for my hopes re: Belial’s return, but that’s not important right now, it’s Narmaya and Seofon’s golden hour

Yeah this storyline is one of the reasons I love Pokemon Sun and Moon. Lusamine is an abusive parent. Full stop. She sees people and Pokemon as things, as toys to be discarded if they break and kept on a shelf whenever she doesn't want to use them. You literally fight her in a room full of Pokemon she claims to love that are essentially encased in glass to preserve their beauty.

It's why she doesn't expect Lillie to be as upset about what she did to Cosmog as she was - why be upset over a broken toy that never even 'worked' (did what Lusamine wanted) when you can get a new one? - and it's why she basically responds to Lillie opposing her by throwing her away. Lillie's moment of confrontation with her is still one of my favorite moments in Pokemon.

"Children... Children are not just THINGS that belong to their parents! Pokemon are not just THINGS that a Trainer can do whatever they want to! I am alive! Cosmog is alive! We are not things for you to collect! We're not made for you to just discard when you get bored with us! That is terrible, Mother! You are terrible!"
