The Regent didn't look surprised that the King declined his courtesy. He'd done sufficient homework and acknowledged that the young and new King to the Throne of the Isle of Woes was a recluse after being deprived of his father. Perhaps, that is a good thing for Jade, for the old King had a rigid personality that would have made any possibility of diplomacy much more difficult. The Atlantean King, Triton, and his uncle, was just as stubborn.

"Right, of course. I've brought a proposal with me." Part of him sighs in relief when the King decidedly to go straight to the point. Hustling around central topics wasn't new to Jade, well-versed in political diplomacy on behalf of King Triton, but it wasn't something he enjoyed doing. He unfurls a rather long scroll, around half a meter, that he'd prepared in advance.

From behind the scroll, hidden by thick parchment, he slowly lifted his brows and allowed them to furrow in deep confusion. If there was anything years in politics had taught him, it's that powerful individual enjoyed taking their time as an opportunity to flaunt their status. The longer they make someone wait, the more they perceive themselves to hold power over them. As the son of a Duchness and a minority of Atlantica, he'd been a frequent recipient of this treatment, despite being part royalty.

"It gladdens me to know that you are willing to hear me out. It's mostly for my benefit, indeed, as it is my job, but if were I to say that you stand to benefit from this transaction, surely it would make my proposal much more difficult to decline?"

The darkness of the King's room posed little obscurity to his eyes. Mereels, Morays, in particular, possessed the innate gift to see in the dark. His eyes gloss through the proposal and refresh his mind.

Idia Shroud is a new king who has not yet fully convinced his subjects that he will perform just as well as his father. Though clearly, power doesn't interest him, nor wealth.

"On behalf of Atlantica, I would like to offer you three things: first, a system. Atlantica has made use of such systems to run our kingdom autonomously with a combination of King Triton's magic and water, but we lack the knowledge to replace magic with technology. Secondly, a soul. Thirdly, myself." Jade smiles, ensuring Idia assures himself that he hasn't heard wrongly. "Should you consent to welcome me as your subject, I will run your kingdom for you, under your supervision, of course."

They of Antihouse Caligo are remnants of those thought to be forever lost. Without an identity to cling to, they persevere nonetheless. Caligo spectres occupy some of the lower districts of Anzenmezzeron, shrouded in mysterious Fog - source of their power and second unlife. Heralded by the coming of dark butterflies, they constantly work to expand their domain - a shadowy reflection of the world above.

Yuu blinks owlishly; her gaze moving from the various screens displaying a myriad of different programs Yuu couldn't even begin to fully comprehend back to Idia who was expertly arranging various wires together as though doing so was as simple and tying your shoes. The entrance of Ignihyde had always served as something of a horror show for the prefect, but once you were actually inside the dorm it felt as though you were transported to a different place entirely, the primary design showing no clear sign that you were about to walk into a techromatics paradise.

"So it's like a don't connect the wrong wires or you might blow up the building situation. Like in those super old style movies or something?" Yuu hadn't ever fully watched any of those movies, usually being hauled away before she could finish it or just losing interest. Perhaps it was best in this situation that she hadn't though; she may have been too afraid to actually learn more about technology from the genius himself otherwise.

"Hey I mean worst case scenario I fry myself it's not like I don't know someone who could possibly yank me from the underworld before I get too far." Yuu chuckled quickly the laugh taking more an awkward tone as she realized what she was implying, there wasn't even a guarantee something like that was possible so really it was a horrible attempt at making light of such a situation. Besides implying that could have easily struck too close to home for Idia, especially now that Yuu was made aware what actually became of his brother and that the current Ortho was a product of Idia's making.

"Eeh, sorry that's not funny. Um...so paying attention. I promise I won't blow up myself or anything else." Her words also came out slightly awkward as she tried to adjust the topic back to the wires, not trying to think too much on the idea of causing her own accidental demise.

It is wayyyy overdue for me to post these but..... better late than never!

All of the Iron Artist chibi pieces I made back during September. Plus like, one or two made to even out the number.

Many of these characters are not mine, but I don't wanna tag a million people. So if you're seeing your guy on here, thank you for commissioning me! These were a blast to work on.
