studio perriot fucked sakura over look at her at the manga compared to the anime
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
oh trust and BELIEVE i am painfully aware of how desperately Peirrot fucked Sakura over. She was already set up for failure by Kishimoto starting out strong and then constantly fucking w/ her and just leaving her out fucking CONSTANTLY bc he wrote himself into a hole by trying too hard to make her insufferable and succeeding and then peirrot just picked it up and went
"ah but what if we made it WORSE"
Naruto as a series suffers from such severe misogyny it is exhausting to deal with in the media itself and then those naruto fans just make it fucking worse. I can't tell you how many itmes Ive had to hear "oh yea I hate sakura she's the worst". I had someone tell me to my face in sakura cosplay "oh I hate her character" and that was the only interaction I had with them it was WILD

Hi thanks for answering my ask.
I hope you have a good day/night.
Wanted to say that I love and thankful you, @maoam , @sasukeheart , @sasukechannel ,@sasukeless ,@sasukesun , @sueske and my friend and favourite reblooger @adelalovesmadara .
When lock down started and I was getting bored, I was 13 years old that time and I was big fan of beyblade g revolution sports anime which is popular in India. So in curiosity I searched who is (my favourite character) kai hiwatari's wife? Then I came across fanfiction net, then I knew about about fiction stories then I accidentally read about Tyson(main protagonist)x kai fiction, it contained sm*t so yeah then I knew that even boys can be with each other. So I started read all those fictions then I came to wattpad then with one fiction the author mentioned that he/she shipped sasunaru so I was curious about them.
So I started to read fabrics about them even though I didn't see a single episode till this date. Then I was bored with fiction so I came to Twitter and Instagram naruto fandom I saw many toxic things there...
Then when I came across a narusasu shipper in Instagram and I was scrolling her stories there she/he showed @maoam post screenshot in curiosity I downloaded tumblr and searched about moaom then I saw her theories and facts and I was shocked at the new things I learned.
I accept first I used to ship sasuke and naruto because I thought they were cute but now I am starting to read chapters of manga to learn the full story in the manga after seeing all of sns posts from the above people I think it's better if I stay away with studio peirrot stuff.
Now I stopped with shipping every male characters then ...
You all made me realise about true homosexuality.
In the end hope you all have a happy life. Thanks and I am grateful to you all .
Hello. It's great that you have started to read the manga. The fanfics wouldn't really have the desired effect on the reader anyway unless they read or watch the original, the source material. You can watch the anime, but I suggest sticking to just the canon episodes and even though some of them are mixed canon, it will still have the desired effect on you. The canon episodes don't really stray that much from manga overall.
Most fanfic writers have no idea how homosexuality works and it becomes quite clear after a page or two that it's straight people writing a gay couple. It's mostly really just jerk off material for them anyway, for them to conveniently self insert. They are there just for the smut, they project their heterosexuality over the boys and their relationship. Forget nuances of a gay relationship, they hardly even understand their relationship in canon or the canon narrative. There's no better media in Naruto than the original story anyway. It will give you all the feels that a hundred fanfics cannot give you. At least I haven't found a fanfic that truly captures the SNS dynamic and their characters with all their nuances yet.

I finally got around and binged Kingdom's Season 3. Regardless of the various opinions regarding the anime, one thing everyone should agree on is the beauty of the second ED.
We were treated to Emiko Suzuki's beautiful voice, with Hiroyuki Sawano providing his usual touching composition.
But let's talk about the visuals. It was simple, yet so perfect. The use of the terracotta soldiers/sculptures was brilliant. The placement of all the Generals showcased their personalities. Ou Hon and Mou Ten standing in line and not standing out as they've yet to make their mark. Ei Sei looking up, looking ahead at the future, and of course Shin. Shin with his sword, watching Sei's back.
It was a perfect ED for Kingdom.

There is a high probability that SP is going to animate Retsuden Series next.
Tumblr media
Because, Boruto chapter 35 (the chapter in which injured Sasuke - comes to Sakura) was released in - 10th June 2019
And, the release dates of Retsuden Series were -
Kakashi Retsuden - 4th June 2019.
Sasuke Retsuden - 2nd August 2019.
Naruto Retsuden - 4th October 2019.
So, if SP goes by the CANON TIMELINE, this is the right time to animate Retsuden Series.
Hopefully, we will get to see the original Team 7 in action again, and some SS moments too. ^ - ^
Only if Studio Peirrot doesn't fuck this up.

I still don't get why the first assumption made when watching the last movie in regards to hamura's chakra was that "Hinata recieved it from hagoromo to destroy the tenseigan." That was literally never stated or implied. As said by Hinata, the person only needed to be of hamura's bloodline to be able to touch the tenseigan, there was no mention of his chakra.
The only time "hamura's chakra" was mentioned was in the last of the movie when Toneri drained naruto's chakra (need I remind you that this scene never happened in the novel which was written by kyouzuka maruo, the same person who was the scriptwriter of the movie and kishimoto was only involved till the level of script. It really makes no sense for maruo-san to not include such an important scene in the novel unless that scene was never in the script in the first place and studio Peirrot, being studio Peirrot, added it on their own). And even then, if we keep the wording in mind, Hinata "recieving" the Hamura's chakra just recently doesn't make any sense. Toneri, in that scene, said "You'll now feel the power of hamura, one that can even move the moon" and indeed everyone took this "power of hamura" as the tenseigan because that was what was moving the moon. But, Hinata in response says, "Hamura's chakra flows within me too". This shows how either Hinata knew, or assumed that Toneri too had the Hamura's chakra, hence the "too". In case of "knew", it makes no sense for Toneri to have met hamura and then hamura giving him his chakra because if that were the case, Toneri wouldn't have been blinded be the false decree. In case of "assumed", this shows that hinata made an obvious assumption of Toneri having the Hamura's chakra. She knows about Toneri being blinded by the false decree, she knows that there's no possibility of Toneri and hamura to have met, so the only reason she could've made this assumption is if hamura's chakra wasn't something received but inherited. So keeping all this in mind, Hamura's chakra being inherited by the bloodline of hamura is what makes the most sense. Hamura's chakra being given to Hinata by hamura during their meeting is just a baseless assumption that has been somehow accepted as a fact in the fandom. Hamura's chakra is something Hinata had possessed since birth and so her strength and power doesn't just magically change after the last. The strength she had before going to the mission is same as the strength she has when returning from it .
Maybe the constant, "the hyuuga blood flows thicker in his veins than in anyone else's" (this particularly was said by hiashi in chapter 99 when Naruto and neji's match just started) can also be taken as how much hamura's power one has inherited.
It was actually very much implied that Hinata received the chakra from Hamura, and at the very least, this was implied far more than what you’re trying to signify regarding how Hinata had apparently possessed this chakra from as early as her birth. This wasn't just some baseless assumption, so I’m very puzzled as to how you were able to make that assertion. Firstly, you can’t just inherit someone else’s chakra from birth without being a literal reincarnation of that person, like Hashirama/Naruto and Madara/Sasuke were to Ashura and Indra respectively. That is the only way that someone’s actual chakra can be passed on or inherited. Hinata and the other members of the main branch of the Hyuuga clan specifically inherited Hamura’s blood, because they are his descendants:
Tumblr media
However, they did not inherit his chakra.
Secondly, people took Toneri saying “the power of Hamura” as referring to the Tenseigan because that’s exactly what he was referring to; it’s the only thing known to have the power to move the moon. There’s literally nothing else this could have meant.
Thirdly, Toneri refers to it as such because Hamura was the only known person prior to himself, to have ever awakened the Tenseigan. This is much like how the Rinnegan is known as Hagoromo’s power, because it manifested naturally in him first, and is also the reason why a mixture of Ashura and Indra’s chakra (the sons of Hagoromo) is required to awaken the Rinnegan.
Fourthly, by no means does Hinata’s wording of her having Hamura’s chakra too indicate that she either knew or assumed that Toneri had Hamura’s chakra in the same way that she did. Him having the Tenseigan is already enough for anyone to reach the conclusion that Toneri possessed Hamura’s chakra.
“In case of "assumed", this shows that Hinata made an obvious assumption of Toneri having the Hamura's chakra. She knows about Toneri being blinded by the false decree, she knows that there's no possibility of Toneri and Hamura to have met, so the only reason she could've made this assumption is if Hamura's chakra wasn't something received but inherited. So keeping all this in mind, Hamura's chakra being inherited by the bloodline of Hamura is what makes the most sense.”
That’s not true, why would Hinata need to reach such a conclusion when literally everyone knows that by “the power of Hamura”, Toneri was referring to the Tenseigan? Toneri didn’t need to have inherited Hamura’s chakra, nor did he have to receive it from the man himself, in order for him to have acquired the Tenseigan. What he needed was for himself to be an Otsutsuki (which he was), and the Byakugan of a Hyuuga (which he obtained from Hanabi). That’s how he attained the Tenseigan, and thus Hamura’s chakra; he didn’t need to have been born with it, nor did he need to directly receive it. The reason Hinata didn’t obtain the Tenseigan herself following her acquisition of Hamura’s chakra, is because she is not an Otsutsuki.
Lastly, I really don’t understand how you can describe the idea of Hamura giving Hinata some of his chakra as “baseless”, when not only was it clear that Hamura “did something” to Hinata which caused her to be severely weakened following their private meeting:
Tumblr media
But her chakra literally also changed colour from the normal blue to a dark purple. So clearly, there was a very obvious change in the nature of Hinata’s chakra, and assuming that Hamura gave her some of his is a very easy conclusion to reach in order to explain the change. I agree that Hinata’s actual battle prowess did not change after her meeting with Hamura - She didn’t become any stronger, because the perks of the change didn’t augment her power, but rather, it gave her the ability to destroy the Tenseigan.
You say how “That was literally never stated or implied”, despite the fact that it was literally the entire reason for Hamura meeting Hinata in the first place. During their meeting, one of Hamura’s descendants said that only Hinata as the Byakugan Princess could destroy the Tenseigan, and Hamura’s parting words to her were a request for her to not let the world Hagoromo created come to an end, and she would do this by destroying the Tenseigan. Now note the wording here - Only Hinata could destroy the Tenseigan:
Tumblr media
It’s not something that just anyone of the main Hyuuga family can do. Your argument is that “as said by Hinata, the person only needed to be of Hamura's bloodline to be able to touch the Tenseigan”, but that’s exactly the point. You said it yourself, the main Hyuuga family could only touch the Tenseigan, not destroy it, and the reason they could touch it is because they have Hamura’s blood, as Hinata says:
Tumblr media
However, they do not have Hamura’s chakra; that trait was unique to Hinata due to her meeting with him, and that’s why she was the only one who could not only touch the Tenseigan, but also destroy it. There’s obviously a significant difference between simply having Hamura’s blood and having his chakra, as Hinata herself makes that distinction when she mentions having his blood here as an explanation for being able to touch the Tenseigan without having her chakra extracted, and mentions having his chakra later on to Toneri, as an explanation for how she was able to restore Naruto’s chakra after Toneri drained it. It’s like how the Uchiha have Indra’s blood but not his chakra. So with all of that said, Hinata receiving chakra from Hamura is the most logical conclusion.

I’m a big fan of AUs and the freedom that fans have to explore Sonic or any fandom in ways that diverge from the source material, but with AUs and more recent Sonic stuff being what a lot of new fans brought in from the movie will see, the possibility of providing false information is far to high if we are not careful. That SEGA also spreads misinformation only makes matter worse and it is the heart of this particular post.
One of the biggest misconceptions of Sonic that SEGA perpetrates both through retcons and from Sonic Generations onward is that Sonic before the Sonic Adventure (Adventure henceforth )rebranding back in 1998/1999 is that “Classic Sonic “ as he is dubbed these days is possessed of an age of around eleven and is even shorter than Sonic’s 1 meter/3′3″ height. The height can actually be sourced to a profile of Metal Sonic’s that lists him at around seventy something centimeters as well as Generations making him shorter to account for the difference in proportions. But the truth is, Sonic was always listed at 1 meter tall, both before and after the Adventure redesign.
[Character height chart for reference - http://info.sonicretro.org/images/9/99/Classic_character_heights.svg]
Age on the other hand is where things get really strange. Again, a retcon for Generations makes sense to an extent, especially when you consider that the characters had their ages shuffled around as it was with the Adventure redesign. Amy aged up from 8 to 12 and Knuckles aged up from 15 to 16. Tails remained the same but Sonic actually received a subtle change. Bios that listed Sonic’s age before Adventure typically listed him at 15 to 16 years old. That would actually make him the same age or older than his Adventure onward counterpart. But it gets even weirder. According to the Sonic Technical Files (currently hosted by Sonnic Fansite Sonic Retro here - http://info.sonicretro.org/Original_Story) Sonic was actually originally thought about to be even older, around 18 years old. Suddenly, Sonic from his typically dubbed Classic Era is actually definitively older than his modern counterpart, yet is portrayed as a younger bubbly child from Sonic Generations onward. And I assure you, this is a retcon.
If you grew up in the 90s like I did and were introduced to Sonic when he debuted back in 1991, then you will remember the western advertising over embracing his teenager with an attitude description. And it wasn’t just in game ads, it was in all Sonic media available in the west. The US cartoons, the Archie and Fleetway comics, and so on, portrayed Sonic as an uppity teenager with an attitude problem (some cases being far worse than others). That teenager of a high school age mentality was the backbone for why the Archie Sonic comics were littered with teenager romance drama, which would look rather distasteful if you think about it post retcons now. But they were not at fault for portraying Sonic based on being high school age. The material and information they were provided told them as such and so they based their interpretations off of that available information.
But it wasn’t just a western mistake either. If not for input from key members of SEGA of America (henceforth SoA) Sonic would be rather different and would even have had a human girlfriend by the name of Madona who was anything but a child.
[Pic here - https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/sonic/images/d/dc/Madonna.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20090313035151]
Madonna was not the only time it happened either as one of the last pieces of pre-Adventure release Classic Sonic material is the Sonic OVA or Movie produced by Japanese animation studio Studio Peirrot where a catgirl (read human girl with cat ears and a tail) was the main love interest and whom even Eggman/Robotnik wanted to marry (it’s weird, I don’t argue that). But more importantly, two of Sonic’s primary creators, Yuji Naka and Naoto Oshima, were listed as Production Directors for the two episode Original Video Animation (OVA) and were rumored to be involved quite a bit with the film. You can typically find it on youtube though I recomend the subbed version, bad video quality and all, to get a better representation of the Japanese perspective. It’s really eye opening and was very nostalgic in when I first watched it post Sonic Generations release.
The thing is though, the OVA released in 1996, years before the Adventure rebranding, and is strongly believed to be how Naka and Oshima see the character. This is actually reflected in the Sonic Adventure redesign as Yuji Naka on record (a shame I can’t find the link) has stated that Sonic was redesigned to bring him closer to the original character idea and to erase the growing cute identity that he was developing due to marketing. He even goes on to say that Sonic was never intended to be cute and that being a cute mascot character would inevitably pit him against Hello Kitty which would not have ended well. Yet, SEGA retconned the Naka/Oshima Sonic into being a bubbly hyperactive kid who was much shorter and generally hyper cute compared to his more modern interpretation of the character. This retcon is only made even more complicated when SEGA decided they didn’t like their “New” Classic Sonic being treated as the same character as their Legacy Sonic and even retconned that come Sonic Forces to say that he was actually from a different dimension. Years after Sonic Forces release that decision still riles up many more dedicated fans as it breaks the series continuity. Arguably, it has too. After all, if Naka/Oshima Sonic is older than Legacy/Modern Sonic and has the same height yet New Classic Sonic is shorter and strangely mute then something had to be changed or it just starts to fall apart for a cohesive narrative. Of course Amy’s four year gain already threw things into question but on it’s own was fairly harmless considering her role in the franchise as the main female lead and primary love interest. But New Classic Sonic’s muteness is what this post will be carrying on from.
One of the biggest misconceptions of Sonic before the Adventure redesign is that he did not speak. The primary reason for this misconception I usually attributed to him not speaking in the classics. this is actually a false statement as Sonic speaks in Sonic the Hedgehog CD, SegaSonic the Hedgehog, and is quite the chatterbox in a Japanese only popcorn machine. Admittedly, these are all difficult to experience items, especially pre-Adventure, but by the time of Soinc Generations’ release a good deal of these could be researched and Sonic CD was readily available to the public again thanks in no small part to Christian Whitehead of Evening Star Studios. but even outside of the games SOnic was shown to talk quite a bit before the Adventure redesign. Again both the western comics and cartoons and even numerous Japanese comics all showed him speaking quite a bit before the Adventure redesign. Of a more canonical nature however, the Japanese instruction manuals for most of the games from the original onward will show Sonic talking.
So, where did this misconception gain enough steam to become a retcon? It’s hard to say, but there are a lot factors that could lead to it. Major fan backlash was threatened when Generations was first revealed if they got Sonic’s voice wrong and hat it’d be better if he didn’t talk at all. SEGA is known for overreacting to negative feedback at odd and seemingly random times and this appears to me to be yet another case of it. But his muteness only got weirder when people started latching on to him being mute as a matter of shyness. I don’t know where that one originated from, but Sonic’s shyness is actually a trait of his, but it is specifically tied to how he feels about his self-proclaimed Amy Rose. When asked about, Yuji Naka once said that Sonic does likely like Amy deep down, but is too shy to act on those feelings. Naoto Oshima expands further on that stating that Sonic has a boyish immaturity in regards to his feelings and thus won’t act on them but should he mature in that regard he would end up with Amy. In other words, boyish immaturity and shyness are part of Sonic’s character, but they only reflect on certain facets of his character. His shyness and immaturity of his feelings for Amy though were instead stretched out to cover most of his character resulting in New Classic Sonic being a mute, when Naka/Oshima, Legacy/Modern, BOOM! (just to throw in another iteration where he is shy about his feelings for Amy), and even Movie Sonic are all rather talkative.
So that there is three misconceptions about pre-Adventure Sonic that are perpetuated officially by New Classic Sonic effectively being placed over Naka/Oshima Sonic. Again, I don’t aim to bash fanfics and AUs as I love them and the way they explore the characters in new ways, but for the sake of new fans not being overly confused, it should be noted if your Classic Sonic is New or Generations based, or the Naka/Oshima, pre-Adventure version. There are hugely massive differences between them with things like height, age, and talkativeness being hugely noticeable. Otherwise, keep writing, drawing and having fun, and may all of the movie’s fans who find their way into the fanbase enjoy themselves

While I’m on the subject, I honestly believe Akudama Drive is not only a great show that every Danganronpa fan should try watching at least once, but I firmly believe it’s the anime that cements that Rui Komatsuzaki’s character designs can and do work in animation, and can look constantly amazing animated. You just need the right team behind it and the crew of Akudama Drive certainly didn’t disappoint.
Tumblr media
If they ever go back and reboot the Danganronpa anime and adapt all the games to anime format, I think it should be done by the same team as Akudama Drive. Bring Tomohisa Taguchi, Cindy H. Yamauchi, and Studio Peirrot on board. We can have something so spectacular the fandom won’t know what hit it.
