Move complete 😭

#there were more tears than i thought i had left in me #it hurt a lot #but many hours of driving later and we have made it #everything is unloaded #and now i just have to go through the ordeal of unpacking and getting everything organised #my parents are insisting that not everything i have brought will fit #but their solution is 'storage unit' - readers this storage unit it a random shipping container on some plot of rural land #that has a string of break ins on its history #so i am not enthused about putting any of my things in this storage unit #but more than that #these are *my things*#i have already parted with so much to get it down to these few boxes and items of furniture #i will make them fit no matter what #they just have to give me a few days to try out different configurations of furniture and stuff #and i will figure it out #i will #if im gonna live here then you can be certain im gonna make it feel as much like a home as possible #so yeah #the hardest part is over!!#we can start to work on healing #looking forward #we move #no matter what #we keep moving forward

Charles Strong.) because it’s still in-#-use ~40 years after its approx fabrication date (or its date of ownership transfer to Arthur Shelby Snr #but I think he commissioned it)#Certainly more thinking on the Jan than on Arrow House which is just a disconnected string of interior rooms/spaces/artefacts in my head #a disconnected work of interior diorama scenes and some endless corridor with no walls and only doors #not a cohesive floor plan.but I could draw all of Lizzie’s imagined living quarters right down to the taps and furniture placement #the way the brain works *shrugs*

Speaking of money I bought one of those cat wand things today and it resulted in one of the funniest videos of all time, this is just how he plays with it it’s like he’s playing tug of war 😂😂😂😍

The bit we get from Carla? That is put to words what Ruby believes about her self.

There’s nothing an ordinary woman could have said to convince Carla of those things. But Ruby is magic, and that future version of Ruby is manifesting Ruby’s abandonment issues and has the ability to change people’s perception of her.

At the end of the episode, Ruby completes the cycle and reaches out to herself in love and compassion, is able to warn her younger self, and breaks out of the time loop (the loop that she created herself, to save herself)

Ok I have read everyone’s thoughts and I think I get it, this is a compilation of my favorite smart things other people said. Writing it down so I can understand it.

73 yards spoilers

Break a fairy circle, get yoinked by fairies. That’s what happened to the doctor. Yoinked out of the narrative.

Everything else is Ruby. She had to make this make sense, she had to create rules to fix it. And she has magic.

So she created a time loop and placed herself as the haunted one. She heard the doctor mention a prime minister that nearly started a nuclear war and then 30 seconds later read the name Mad Jack, so she creates that story. She feels abandoned her whole life so she subconsciously “pushes people away”; she’s created her own perception filter that convinces everyone that she is what she fears she is— an unlovable monster.

The Woman perhaps was nothing more than that fuzzy filter (Carla says she is who she appears to be), which causes people to look at Ruby and then perceive her differently.

But then, in an act of self love, she brings the story home by catching up with the time loop, expressing affection for her young self and seeing herself as she really is. She places her old self a few seconds before everything went wrong.

It’s the equivalent of doing something dumb and thinking “man I wish I could turn back the clock 3 seconds” but she has magic so she can. Unfortunately she also has self image issues and she has to overcome them before she can help herself.

I’ve connected the dots. I’ve connected them.
