Street Fighter ZERO (Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection \ Steam)
After releasing the same Street Fighter 2 at least five times (with three more on the way) they finally decided to make a new game. The new game is a prequel set between the first and the second one. It features a roster of characters pulled from Street Fighter, Street Fighter 2, Final Fight, and adds a couple of newcomers. Not only this is a spin-off prequel, it’s also a very obscure game in…

I got the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection for the Nintendo Switch a few months ago go, shortly after I found out about it. I was bouncing between games, when I found Remy! I loved his design, but was really confused as to why I recognized most of the other character besides him. Turns out, he’s only in Street Fighter III: Third Impact.
I was so sad to find out he’s only in the one game, but they’re brought back other characters years later, so maybe he still has a chance to make a come back in a new game.

Note
I got both Capcom Fighting Collection and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection as part of a bundle and I noticed something about Fei Long's country flag
Tumblr media
In Super Street Fighter II and Super Street Fighter II Turbo, included the anniversary collection, Hong Kong is represented by the flag of Hong Kong
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But in Hyper Street Fighter II included in Capcom Fighting Collection it instead has the flag of China
Tumblr media
I have a theory
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Seems reasonable, especially if you want to sell it in China.
Could be wrong tho, just a guess

Console Fighting Games of 2000 - Street Fighter III 3rd Strike
Street Fighter III 3rd Strike is an updated version of Street Fighter III and the second such update following 1997s Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact. This second update adds additional characters with Makoto, Q, Remy, Twelve and a return of series regular Chun-Li.
The game also features new storylines, music, additional super arts as well as a new guard parry. A new grading system is also added to this edition with players graded on Offense, Defence, Tech points, and EX points at the end of each fight.
Street Fighter III 3rd Strike was first released in Japan for arcades in 1999 with a worldwide Dreamcast release in 2000. A PlayStation 2 release of the game came in 2004, with releases in Japan and the US.
An online release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 was released in 2014 while Street Fighter III 3rd Strike was re-released as a part of the 30th Anniversary collection for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, & Xbox One in 2018.

Vampire Savior (Switch): COMPLETED!
No, not the horde-based twin stick only one stick sort of shooter. That’s Vampire Survivors, even though I keep getting the two names mixed up. No, this is the Capcom 1-on-1 fighting game from the late 90s heyday of Capcom 1-on-1 fighting games. There was a cheap bundle of bundles (a bundle^2, if you like) on the eShop recently where you could get Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection and…

Another surprise announcement this week is Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind by Digital Eclipse. This "all-new adventure" is coming in "late 2024", but no console platforms have been confirmed just yet.
This title will remix "lore with scenarios and gameplay" that's both familiar and new to fans of this series. Apart from plenty of multiplayer beat 'em up action, you'll also blast, fight, and drive through a "constantly shifting mix of classic game genres".
Here's the back story behind this upcoming release:
"In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, the team faces off against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers' long-time nemesis. Robo-Rita has conjured a portal to send herself back in time so she can finally vanquish the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self. Working together, Robo-Rita and Rita Repulsa rewind, rewrite, and remix the past in an attempt to stop the very formation of the Power Rangers, altering the course of history.
"Will the two Ritas and their army of monstrous enemies from across the MMPR timeline finally succeed in destroying the Power Rangers? Or will these teenagers with attitude learn to work together and counter this catastrophic chronological collaboration?""
Again, there's no mention of a console release (yet), but if we hear any updates on the Nintendo front, we'll be sure to let you know.
Digital Eclipse is the same team behind previously released Switch games and collections like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection and Disney Classic Games: Aladdin And The Lion King.

My street fighter opinions
Sf1- it's an arcade game. Like not even a game. It's a arcade game. It wants your money and it wants it now.
Sf2- it got better over time. Wasn't until the super editions that the series went from mildly interesting arcade game to wow this is a fighting captial-F for fighting game. Turbo probably is fine but I likely won't play it cause it's bugged as hell for the campaign in 30th anniversary collection.
Sf alpha- honestly really good. This is what street fighter really feels like it'd becoming a proper fighting game. Like it's much more fluid and snappy and fun. Sodom is one of the best characters in those games don't @ me.
Sf3- fucking peak, fuckinf kino, it's awesome. Enough said. Shit is awesome it's great.
Sf4- never played not sure when I will
Sf5- barely remember it. Way too many dlc characters. Most I got out of it is the times I played it with cousins and barely remember it. It gets a meh out of me.
Sf6- really fun. For its initial cast it's incredible diverse and compelling with each one. Also that game is running in the fucking re engine so ryu ported to re8 and when will Lady be playable as a Hugo replacement in 6?

Dave Grohl Performs “Play” Live
Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters performed “Play” live for an upcoming concert film. The upcoming release of 'The Benefit Concert Volume 20' by Warren Haynes includes a spectacular highlight: the first-ever--and only to date--performance of Dave Grohl’s 23-minute instrumental epic, "Play," which extends to an extraordinary 36 minutes in its live rendition. This live performance is now available, offering fans the opportunity to witness “Play” being brought to life on that unforgettable evening.   Originally composed and performed entirely by Grohl on every instrument, “Play” is an expansive journey through Grohl's musical prowess and creativity. The video release captures the energy and intensity of “Play” as rendered by Grohl and a veritable murderers row of musical accomplices including Greg Kurstin (keys), guitarists Jason Falkner, Alain Johannes and Barrett Jones, Chris Chaney (bass) and Drew Hester (percussion). The performance's distinctiveness was further elevated by the rhythmic artistry of Abby the Spoon Lady, a prominent Asheville-based busker and advocate for street performance, whose unique spoon-playing skill brought an unexpected and captivating dimension to “Play.” Delivering a blend of visual and auditory artistry, this one and only live version of “Play” is a key highlight of 'The Benefit Concert Volume 20'. The Benefit Concert Volume 20' is a collection of standout performances from Warren Haynes’ 30th Annual Christmas Jam, bringing together a diverse group of artists. The album, as well as the event itself, serve not only as a musical spectacle but also as a philanthropic endeavor, with all proceeds being donated to the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity. In addition to Haynes and Grohl, other featured artists on the forthcoming set include Eric Church, Joe Bonamassa, Gov’t Mule, Mike Gordon, Marco Benevento, Jamey Johnson, Edwin McCain, Kevn Kinney, Tyler Ramsey, Scott Murawski, and Ron Holloway, along with Machan Taylor, Mini Carlsson, Mike Barnes, and Ray Sisk sitting in with Gov’t Mule. Recorded on December 7th and 8th, 2018, in Asheville, North Carolina, the concert was not just a musical feat but also a significant charitable event, raising over $2.8 million for the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity.   ‘The Benefit Concert Volume 20’ will be available physically on four different double vinyl volumes (in different colors: purple, orange, blue, red), 2-CD + DVD set, and 3-CD + 2 Blu-ray set, along with a digital-only format. Bundles are also available now to pre-order. Starting in December of 1988, Warren Haynes launched what would become a cherished tradition in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina. Despite its name, the "Christmas Jam" was less about festive tunes and more about gathering local musicians to celebrate the holidays and give back to the community. Over 30 years later, this humble event transformed into a nationally recognized spectacle, raising over $2.8 million for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and the construction of over 50 homes in the region. Reflecting on its growth, Haynes notes, “As an Ashevillean, it's heartening to see the progress Asheville has witnessed over these three decades. In many ways, Christmas Jam mirrors this city's vibrant spirit."   ‘The Benefit Concert Volume 20’ stands out not only as a testament to three decades of musical celebrations, but also the enduring spirit of Christmas Jams. Throughout the years, it's the impromptu collaborations (often times between artists and musicians meeting backstage or on stage), the unwavering commitment of all participants, and the unity in music that truly define this legacy.   “Although Christmas Jam, the main event, is traditionally a one-night event, there have been three occasions where we felt the need to make it two nights — the 20th, 25th, and 30th Anniversaries, each of which featured extraordinary line-ups,” Haynes adds. “The performances being represented in this package are culled from the 30th Anniversary in 2018, which was in itself… https://chorus.fm/news/dave-grohl-performs-play-live/
