Streamily Signing with Shelby Rabara as Peridot

Shelby Rabara signed some stuff for fans on the Streamily!

While signing some fun Peridot posters and adding "you clod" to her signature, Shelby told some stories and bantered with chatters.

When a chatter said hi from Samoa, she told a story of going to a Sadie Hawkins dance with a Samoan guy and how cool their outfits were.

She said fire victims in L.A. get some proceeds of these posters.

She said maybe she'll do a dual signing event with Michaela Dietz at one point.

She asks for the chat's Valentine's plans.

Shelby made a "coffee talk" reference, doing the accent from the Saturday Night Live sketch.

Shelby's mom was in the chat from the Philippines. Also her cousins and her brother were there.

She says she loves saying "clod" and it never gets old.

On one poster for a fan, Shelby writes the Steven Universe quote "Steven! You never gave up on me for some reason I don't understand! I'll do the same for you!" She loves that quote and remembers it well.

Shelby owns a Peridot plushie from a con and a cool Peridot pin.

She shares an anecdote about taking ballet and contemporary dance classes the night before.

She attempted to draw Pumpkin on a poster.

Shelby said everyone on the Instagram stream is a clod, including herself.

If Shelby could change anything about Peridot's design, she says she would add dangling disco balls to her outfit.

She says she does not know if Lapis and Peridot would fuse or have fused.

She says she has been doing tap dance since she was 4 and a half years old.

Shelby said she is not sure what her favorite Crying Breakfast Friend is.

For voice acting tips, she says it's acting, so it's important to train. It's important to understand the voice atmosphere, what your character's relationship to others is, know your character's likes and dislikes, don't give up, have fun. She had only booked one voice over role before getting the Peridot gig. She still does acting.

She would definitely do Peridot's voice again if she had a chance.
