Tips and FAQ for Asks

Hello beautiful humans, I want to do my best to get to everyone's asks so here are a few things you can do to help make that happen! (if you're looking for the cast stream master list, skip to the bottom)

Please don't spam the same question repeatedly. I will get to you eventually, I promise! But when you submit the exact same thing multiple times, it just slows me down. I've got one single brain cell, please have mercy.

No spoiler requests. I cannot tell you anything about future episodes, when they will come out, what will happen to certain characters, how the story ends etc. We're limited on what we can say in general until more episodes release. The entire cast has signed NDAs (non disclosure agreement) preventing us from revealing anything, but more than that, we wouldn't want to ruin your experience of watching and engaging with the show organically! Trust me, just enjoy the ride, it's better that way.

Don't take anything too seriously. Please keep in mind most of these answers will just be for fun. My thoughts and opinions on the character, both for silly things like favorite dessert and more serious things like character analysis, are not hard and fast canon. Same goes for any of the actors. We can speculate about our characters, we know and understand them well, but when in doubt, assume its allllllllllllll non-canonical haha

Read through previous asks. This will help prevent asking things I've already answered. I'm going to be tagging (i swear I'll do it fr) my answers with #amanda asks and #tadc asks so you can find them more easily. If you do ask a question I've already answered IT'S OK DON'T PANIC I won't be upset haha

Even though I'll be tagging my answers so you can easily find them, here are a few frequently asked questions just to get them out of the way. If you decide to ask me something I've already answered, or something that goes against the guidelines above, I'll probably skip it, you silly geese.

Q: I've seen people use several different pronouns for you, what are your preferred pronouns? A: They/them and I prefer masc leaning terms generally! I'm queer, NB and very open about my identity. But people will sometimes use she/her because they don't know. I will never get upset with someone for not knowing- it's ok. But now that you've read this, you know! So you can go forth educated. You're welcome to correct anyone who doesn't know, but please be kind to each other. We've all been the person who didn't know before.

Q: What do you think of X ship? A: I love and support all the ships! Ships are part of a healthy fandom, keep creating content that makes you feel seen and that YOU want to see, that's the foundation of creativity. And if anyone disagrees with you, remind them that a lot of classics are just fanfiction about the gods at the time. It's always been here.

Q: What is your favorite ship? A: Bunnydoll and Buttonblossom, because the dynamics are so much fun.

Q: Do you like X AU? A: Yes. It doesn't matter what it is, yes. I love the AUs and if it's a new one, you better include a link so I can find it. I want all of them, thank you so muuuuuuuuch~

Q: Have you seen or played X game/show/movie/meme etc.? A: Always happy to chat about other media! But if you wanna ask about something specific, please include a link or explanation because lets be just so very honest, half the time my brain is off in adhd land so there's a good chance I'll have no idea what you're talking about at first.

Q: Have you watched Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure? A: Not yet! But due to VERY POPULAR REQUEST I will be putting together a watch stream to watch it live with yall. Once that's happened, I'll put the link here.

Q: Have you seen Queen's second game and will you be playing it? A: Yes, we've all seen the trailer and we're very excited! We will be playing it as a full cast, just like last time, as soon as the game is finished. For now, please go enjoy the demo and support the team! Once it's out and we're ready to stream it, I'll post the link here.

Q: Can you come to X convention? A: I will come to any convention that yall want to see me at!

BUT

In order for that to happen, you have to request me directly with the convention. Most will have either a request form on their site or a specific email for requests. Just write in that you would like to see me at their event, and then they will get in touch with my agent to book me!

Q: Can I request a song for you to sing? A: Of course! I promise yall I'll do my best to put out more songs this year. If there's a cover you want me to consider doing, or an artist/composer you'd like to hear me work with, let me know!

Outside of that, if you just want a little clip, you can drop requests in the asks and if I know the song I might record a bit. This is COMPLETELY dependent on time, especially if I'm busy. Please understand ❤️

You can also make requests during stream signings, which is easier to accommodate in the moment. Just put the request in the order notes, and I'll sing a little bit for you while I sign IF I know the song. So choose wisely.

Q: Can I write an ask just to show you cool stuff or tell you you're awesome? A: Of course you can! You can also tag me in stuff, that's ok too. I appreciate all the love and support yall have shown for me, Ragatha and the show in general. Yall are truly incredible. ❤️

A Day in the Digital Den

(TADC short agere story! Two smol beans and their caregivers! Enjoy!)

The soft hum of the digital world buzzed in the background, a constant melody that filled the sprawling confines of the abstract space. Today, however, it had a softer, warmer air about it. Sunlight — or the simulation of it — streamed through non-existent windows, casting gentle golden rays across the playroom floor.

Pomni and Jax, now regressed with the energy levels of excitable toddlers, sat in the middle of a patchwork rug covered in colorful blocks, plush toys, and a few odd objects that had seemingly manifested from the code itself. Pomni was busy stacking blocks with intense focus, her tongue sticking out slightly in concentration. Jax, meanwhile, was doing his best to knock them down with the most dramatic "accidental" swipes imaginable.

“Whoops! My bad,” Jax snickered, grinning wide as the blocks tumbled into a heap.

Pomni huffed, her tiny frame puffing up with irritation. "Jaaaax! I worked hard on that!" Her eyes narrowed into a pouty glare.

Perched nearby, Kinger observed with the regal air of a king watching over his kingdom — albeit a very peculiar kingdom of foam blocks and stuffed animals. His eyes, always a little wide with wonder and confusion, darted between the two. "Easy, easy, little ones. Toppling it? That's treason, Jax."

“Pfft, treason?” Jax plopped onto his back, kicking his legs playfully. “What are you gonna do, King? Throw me in the timeout dungeon?” His laughter echoed around the area, loud and infectious.

Ragatha, sitting cross-legged on the other side of the rug, giggled behind her hand. “He’s got you there, Kinger. I don’t think the 'timeout dungeon' has enough room for his ego.” She smiles at Jax, who beamed at the recognition.

“Ha! She gets it,” Jax said, shooting finger at her.

Ragatha leaned forward, hands on her knees, her grin warm but mischievous. “Oh, don’t think you’re untouchable, little guy. I am bigger than you right now, after all.”

Jax’s eyes widened with mock panic. “Y-Yeah, well, I got… I got speed on my side!” He shot up and dashed across the room, little feet padding noisily on the floor. Pomni, feeling rather playful, darted after him with surprising determination.

“Get him, Pomni!” Ragatha cheered, cupping her hands around her mouth like a stadium announcer.

“I am! I am!” Pomni’s voice came out as a high-pitched squeak as she wobbled after him, arms stretched forward like a monster chasing its prey.

Kinger tapped his chin thoughtfully. "This pursuit shall be chronicled in the royal archives as 'The Great Chase of Jax the Jester.'" He nodded to himself, satisfied with his self-appointed role as historian.

The chase zigzagged around toy piles, running in loops around Kinger, whose balance teetered but never toppled. Ragatha leaned forward, arms spread, pretending to block Jax’s path. “Nowhere to run, prankster! Surrender at once!”

“Never!” Jax pivoted hard, his foot slipping just enough to send him spinning. He crashed into Pomni, the two of them rolling in a heap of giggles and tangled limbs.

Pomni was the first to recover, taking the opportunity to tap Jax with her hand. “Gotcha! No more block-smashing for you!” she declared triumphantly.

“Alright, alright, I give!” Jax wheezed through his laughter, his eyes scrunched shut with mirth. “You win, Princess Pomni!”

“Princess?” Pomni blinked, then tilted her head with a smile. "Hmm. I like the sound of that." She lifted her arms like royalty being honored. "All hail Princess Pomni!"

“Hail, indeed,” Kinger said with a flourishing bow so deep it looked like he might fall forward. “Princess Pomni, champion of order and builder of great towers.”

“Don’t forget block protector,” she added with a proud nod, puffing up like a hero.

“Sure, sure,” Jax said, still flat on his back. “Block protector, kingdom defender, and supreme tattletale, too.”

“Hey!” she squeaked, cheeks puffing out in indignation.

“All hail Princess Pomni!” Ragatha said again, laughing as she ruffled Pomni's hair. "And the Jester Jax, whose antics keep us all on our toes."

"Hey, I like that one," Jax grinned, sitting up and brushing off his imaginary cloak. "Jester Jax. Sounds pretty cool."

"More like troublemaker Jax," Ragatha quipped, tossing a soft plush cube at him. It hit him square on the head, eliciting another round of giggles from everyone.

The warmth of the moment lingered, like the glow of a setting sun that never truly set in this world. Kinger settled back, his eyes half-lidded as if savoring the peace. Ragatha leaned back on her palms, watching the two little ones bicker, laugh, and play without a care in the world.

For all its strangeness, this world — at least for now — felt like home.

Pomni Platypus

I was watching TADC cast playing Fast Food Simulator (the live stream was very funny) for charity on YouTube and saw some of the comments in the chat saying 'Pomni the Platypus'

So, I decided to draw her as one, lol.

Hey it me again. Let’s try this for round two of my request for the tadc cast ( plus Caine) helping a reader with crutches at the breakfast table after they accidentally left them for the new i.h.a.

Side note I'm on mobile still for tumblr and my asks are getting weirder; the asks look fine in the inbox but when I go to answer them it like. Makes it on long thing, single worded lines. it's annoying and I dont like it!! It happened with the last request too grrrgrr

CAINE:

It takes him a while because it's not uncommon for circus members to skip out on IHAs, I mean zooble openly says they dont want to do them! But when he decides to go make sure you're not doing anything you're not supposed to (cough cough going into the void/j) he stumbles upon you

You can practically see the gears running in his head before he realizes the issue

Immediately zooms to your side and makes a show of apologies while helping you up

Shit he might even be frantic enough to scoop you up

Honestly I feel like Caine would feel so so bad and he would try to make it up to you

POMNI:

Feels very bad when she realizes you're not around; shes still trying to get hard to the digital world so shes still learning everyone and their whole deals

You know how some characters run with their hands out in front of them. In like a weird scurry. I think pomni would lowkey run like that when she tries to search every corner of the circus for you. Shed already check your room and a bunch of the halls before she even thinks about the main area

Letting out a stream of apologies as she gives you a hand, trying to let you know that she didnt do this to be malicious or hurtful

I think it would take a while longer for pomni to really, really, embed your needs into her schedule since shes juggling so much between coming to terms with being trapped and finding an exit, but she does promise to do better (and she does, eventually!)

RAGATHA:

It's rare that ragatha would just up and forget something like you needing crutches to really be able to move around; even rarer for ragatha to forget you as a whole for a brief moment

No I think the only way this scenario would work is if caine suddenly sprang up the days adventure out of no where as soon as the last person was done eating; and he decides to make it a really high energy chaotic one that takes everyone off guard

It's not long until she remembers you were left behind, though, shes probably one of the few who would take probably at most 10 or so minutes to go and get you.. jax is the second, oddly enough

That said she's apologizing and fretting over you before filling you in on everything you missed

Very sweet very nice, she wont let it happen again

JAX:

I like to think that jax does the "really fast run that he did leaving kaufmos room" a few times, especially when hes struck with a brilliant idea for a prank. So there definitely has been at least a couple instances where he left you behind. It's not so much that hes doing it out of malice, but its like. Those huge motivation spikes that prompt you to work ASAP, you know?

"Heh did you see that, reader?" After the prank he planted in an IHA goes off, turning around to find you're not here

Puts two and two together and runs off to where you were before and pulls you up

Lazy apology, I think, I mean I think jax is the type of person to struggle with apologizing but thats just me

KINGER:

Genuinely forgets because I mean... kinger has multiple instances of forgetting/not noticing gangle is right next to him in the pilot.. so do I really need to explain that kinger simply forgets? Obviously hes not doing it to be mean, assuming kinger truly is losing his marbles

I think it would require someone else outwardly asking where you are before he suddenly swivels in every direction trying to find you

Similar to pomni he runs around trying to find you before finding you by chance

Rather than immediately apologizing and helping you he runs over to you and expresses that he was scared SKMETHING had happened to you and how relieved he is to find that ultimately, you're okay

Then the streams of apologies start

Though I think this is a rare occurrence, because hes always trying to keep you in his line of sight; to align it with my other kinger hcs.. hmm.. perhaps this could happen in one of his worse days

ZOOBLE:

Zooble likely skips IHAs, so it would admittedly take them a while to find you. I mean if they're not at the IHA then they cant notice you're missing. I think they would find you when they decide to leave their room to wander the grounds, far from the chaos and

Oh!

You're kinda just, there. It looks like you had fallen over, your crutches far out of reach; perhaps you had tried to leave yourself after being stranded for a while

Zooble feels.. bad.. but they're flat in terms of expressing their emotions outside of annoyance and fear/surprise, so it kind of comes off as a

"Oh shit man my bad" reaction as they quickly try to get you your crutches and help you up

Takes you to their room after the fact, apologizing for bolting off so fast after breakfast

GANGLE:

Doesnt take long for her to realize you're not here, too, shes probably behind jax in regards of how fast shes going to retrieve you. Letting out these short squeaked apologies while helping you up; probably struggles doing so because shes made of ribbon and likely isnt that sturdy (I'm sorry that was mean)

Honestly you two probably skip out in the remainder of the IHA, gangle feels too horrible to go out and continue it snd you're tired, you know?

sorry to goofus and gallant again, but it's so noticeable the kind of long term support LD gets from the wider Internet. ProZD literally supported the comic for years - he was making comic dubs on his channel for fun & giving Tracy props before they asked him to do some on the main LD channel and then to be the official voice of Mordecai, which he was over the moon about (adorably enough they thought he would be too busy and would say no) and Michael seemed to come onboard as Rocky around the same time for the pancake dub. and on one of the backerkit fundraiser streams, the crew also had Hbomberguy on - far as I know he isn't doing a voice or cameo or anything, seems like he just wanted to come hang out because he thinks the project is neat

meanwhile HH has jettisoned most of its original supporters/talent save for Ed and HB's secondary creative force seems to have pulled away from it in all but voice contributions. there sure is a pattern of Viv drawing in talent and then either casting them off or burning them out with either overwork or the project not shaping up how they hoped. I hope TADC follows in LD's example of holding onto its core crew, since I think the indie scene can be better than this. fans in the twitter sphere just needs to stop acting like HH/HB are the arbiters on what it should look like

Man...Lackadaisy is just so incredibly good. It's so good for the indie scene, for the people involved, and in general.

my tadc ship dynamic headcanons that are, in reality, an extended list of codependency crashouts and rebounds:

Ragatha / Jax - intimate relationship at one point that crashed out once their coping mechanisms diverged too heavily. however, when a cast member dies, ragatha and jax go through a brief rebound where they anchor each other as the only constants in-between Caine’s shitshows and the endless rotating cast of characters. In a way, they take each other for granted, but there’s also quiet resentment brewing between the two as Jax suspects Ragatha thinks she’s better than him and Ragatha has grown weary of his impulsiveness.

Ragatha / Gangle - Gangle latched onto Ragatha’s nice demeanor when she arrived and fell hard. They dated for a brief, very intense period, but Gangle’s constant sadness was enough for Ragatha to awkwardly withdraw. Nothing was official, but Gangle blames herself for the relationship falling apart. She still idolizes Ragatha’s looks, demeanor, and general approach to life, even though they don’t speak anymore.

Gangle / Jax - She doesn’t like the way Jax treats her, but also blames herself for folding to him. She admires Jax’s boldness to do whatever he wants, despite his constant harassment and, in a way, she finds respite in how his behavior toward her echoes the loathing she feels toward herself. Unlike Ragatha, Jax feels comfortable sharing secrets with Gangle, given how he has her under his thumb. The power imbalance between the two has been the state of affairs since she arrived.

Jax / Zooble - Mutual chew-toys 🤝 Jax does whatever he wants to Zooble, and they dish it out just as hard. There’s an undeniable rawness and freedom that comes with being able to physically lash out at an acceptable target without a long-term grudge forming. (Especially when you’re living with body dysphoria 24/7 and the guy bothering you constantly is so so so punchable.) Still, there’s only so much that can be conveyed without words. Jax doesn’t talk about anything that matters - just an endless stream of surface-level quips, references to media Zooble remembers, and verbal jabs. To Zooble, trying to have a “real” conversation with him feels like chasing a shadow. Ultimately, Zooble desires closeness and wants to bridge the distance Jax draws between himself and the others. But Jax is content with their relationship as-is.
