i’m sorry, but it’s taking you five years to get this far in the story and you’re literally on the same chapter hurry up and make the rest of the story I wanna just finally get the power sans in the car and get a long everything get to something more important and relevant in the story If you’re not gonna make it past chapter and stop wasting everyone’s time
Hey, buddy. This isn’t how you get more comic. I’m a human being. The comic will be made when it is made. But I also have a life outside of what you can see here. Being rude will not get you the comic faster. Plus, if you’d said this to an artist who wasn’t quite as world weary as I, this is a great way to give your artist anxiety and burnout. Like… do you want me to start resenting this project? Cause that’s a how you make an artist resent their project. And if I start resenting AFAC, then you’d get zero new updates ever.
So yeah, be patient or get fucked I guess? I’m going back to bed. Too early in the morning to deal with this. Too sleebty.

I'm not sure the analogy fully holds up. Not killing someone doesn't mean there are no consequences. If a trial is so important, you can't forget that those end with punishments. AFAC has a history of characters getting off free. Gaster tortured inmates and children and was not punished. Asriel killed people and wasn't punished. Chara did the stuff they did and were not punished. Asgore turned himself in and his allies got the punishment removed. Unless things changed, it should be the same here

Goldy: Ahh, I love philosophical quandaries within Undertale! Brings me back to when I used them to make Grade-A research papers! Mia's given me the honor of responding to these.
WARNING: TEXT WALL AND SPOILERS FOR AFAC/POTENTIALLY FOR ACAF BELOW!
I'm really glad you've brought up the issue of consequences, because that's actually the answer to the questions you're raising about mercy here. Instead of "Why are they not punished," let's ask "Why CAN'T they be punished?"
Let's start with Gaster. Humoring what would happen if he were punished for his crimes, the fact that some of the kids were tortured would be an angle that wasn't brought up when the world's attention was on Asgore over the kids' fate in the Underground. That, on top of the fact that Gaster was Asgore's employee, would've led to people and officials to believe that Asgore knew about it and withheld information. Asgore would be tried for perjury, there'd be no plea deal this time, and the sovereign status of Monster Town would be imperiled, along with Monsters' legal status. Frisk would suffer the most; at the very least, they'd never see their found family again, and at worst, they'd fall back into Susan's clutches.
And I'm glad you brought up the kids too. It IS worth noting that in AFAC, we haven't seen any resolution YET. Which was honestly, IMO, a mistake on TQ's part in regards to proceeding with the story. We really should've focused immediately on the emotional fallout with the kids coming back and the fact that did so many bad things, instead of... proceeding to a wrestling match over a petty conflict that seems insignificant by comparison.
...Plus, there's no real way to punish the kids that doesn't seem too cruel, or doesn't match the magnitude of their crimes. What would work? Disowning them and leaving them out in the cold to die? How would that sit with Frisk, given what they've been through? Or... Imagine Chara and Azzy going up to everyone they hurt and going like "Hi, I murdered you ala-Saw, I'm sorry." At best, it would be treated as crazy BS, and at worst, it could cause them to recall it all like you've pointed out. It's just better to reform them and help them come to terms, trust issues be damned. After all... "restorative justice," right?
Finally, it's worth noting that practically NO ONE in Undertale is completely innocent. Papyrus threatening Frisk with death traps. Toriel doing literally nothing when she could've done SO MUCH to stop the war effort, or even just destroy the Door to Snowdin long before the second kid fell down. Sans doing absolutely nothing to honor his promise to Toriel. MTT exploiting his workers and abandoning his family. Alphys committing fraud and unethical experiments of her own; come to think of it, we forgave Alphys, so why not Gaster?
And finally, the fact is, every single Monster is more than happy to live on the Surface, enjoying a freedom that was bought with six counts of infanticide. Undertale is a metafiction that makes the player question our justice, and when we imagine the aftermath, we realize that not only is it not perfect, but that pursuing it can even lead to unjust ends.
Imagine that for a moment. Justice being a bad thing. Something that would necessitate an "escape clause" to knowingly subvert, pervert, or even avert its course. The ends do not justify the means, they simply outweigh them. Which is why I am inclined to say "So what?" to the myriad crimes we see before us in the story, callous as it may seem.
And that's why I love this game so much. I live for this. In the end, there is no justice. Only endings, and the resolutions we seek.
Hope this answers your question. TLDR: Justice itself would've been the biggest antagonist of all if we hadn't stepped in and swept it all under the rug.

Undertale 6th Anniversary: Chara Tribute
I was going to upload this on the 15th But then I found out about a cute community project. So this will be my submission for UT Birthday Community Project 2021 (on DA)
There are a few things I would like to redraw, and a few techniques I'd like to learn. But I could be at the project forever if I did that. So for now, I think this will suffice.
The inspiration for this came from JakeiArtwork It's an allusion of UNDERVERSE - 4TH ANNYVERSARY WALLPAPER but instead of Sans', they're all Chara's there are some changes here and there Lets start listing the Chara's, From Left to Right Facing Demons Chara: From the fan game with the same name Swap Chara: The 8th fallen child Fresh Chara: This Chara needs more lime light Fell Chara: In their ceremonial garb (to help distinguish them from the other Chara's) Outer Chara: Because space! Ragnar Chara: by NaomyMikolMaria, Fantastic story, and lovely design ^^ AFAC Chara: by AskFriskAndCompany, a Chara who possessed their own skeleton, and fused with it, becoming a skeleton monster like Sans and Papyrus Classic Chara: The OG = ) Cross Chara: from JakeiArtwork's Xtale, This Chara needs a break XD Changetale Chara: Chara Dreemurr, your best friend! Reaper Chara: From Renrink, Chara with a Scythe is a win win in my books ^^ Epic Chara: From Yugogeer012, one of the best knife designs I've seen from Chara's, Plus that Belt! Horror Chara: couldn't find to much info on this one, but I do like the design, I might work them into my Error series in the future Nega Chara: From ArtsyGum Another Chara with a cool design and interesting story Error Chara: My version, There are quite a few Error Chara designs out there, but none with a story (at least one that I could find). So I made my own = ) Finding the original creators for some of these Chara's is a bit of a pain, so if you know who the original creator of some of these are, feel free to drop a comment, and I'll update in due time. (if I can on Tumblr) enjoy~ Undertale © Toby Fox

What did inspire you to start the Yuvon write letter series ? It's unique :D
Hiya, Mira :)
So, there wasn't just one inspiration. But, basically, what started it all was a book which I can't remember the title of now, which was a published series of literal letters two authors sent back and forth for fun, telling two intertwined stories at once. Immediately after reading that, I really desperately wanted to try that with someone, because it sounded really interesting, and I love interactive storytelling (visual novels and CYOAs for example.)
Of course, I was the only really avid writer I knew, and the not-so-avid writer I asked to start this and she agreed never sent a letter back after my first XD So that was a bust. I gave up on the idea for ages. I actually think I still have the first letter of that game in my Google Drive.
Then, I started wandering around a ton of fandom ask blogs on the internet. I actually revisited AFAC for the first time in literal years, and it's actually still going pretty well! But that's off-topic. Anyhow, guess what: I wanted to start one of my own XD
Eventually, I got the idea of combining the letter game I never managed to make happen, and the ask blog I wanted to make, into a sort of modernized version of a letter game, conducted over the internet.
The sort of Lovecraftian themes to the letter game were just inspired generally from the things I like to read. I love cosmic horror, so I can't really pin that one down to one source. I chose the Duskwood fandom because I figured it'd be easiest to be noticed in a smaller, cozier fandom, and initially I made the concept essentially an ascended escape room because I sort of wanted to appeal to the mystery genre that Duskwood has, in an attempt to not be ENTIRELY out of context XD
The main storyline's honestly been pretty much dropped at this point. It's mostly lore, characters, and other people's stories. But that was the initial inspiration :)
Honestly, yuvon-writes-letters just started as a fun idea that I never thought would catch on and that I'd never publish. I had a drafted version of it sitting around for a while, gathering dust, before I basically said "fuck it" and made a post asking about interest in it. I got a slightly more positive response than expected, so I posted the first letter.
And the rest is history :)
Edit: Marble Hornets! I knew I was forgetting something! Marble Hornets was a big inspiration too.

Petra, you excited for the crossover? I know I am. (Mostly curious how the charas would react to AFAC chara being a skeleton.)
OOOOoooohh boy! You know I am!! I was excited from the moment Mia found my blog tbh. I had looked up to Mia in a sense and now I’m glad to have a chance to crossover with her and be considered her friend. I know it’s gonna be a while (I believe Mia said she was planning on having the crossover with AtDFF happen around the time AFAC crosses over with Ask Drunk Chara story wise) but I am so, so, so excited.
I am also excited to see the ACAF and AFAC crossover (which I’m presuming would happen around the MWSIH crossover in ACAF’s story and after the current wrestling arc for AFAC). It will definitely be interesting to see ACAF Chara meet Charakterny skele Chara (AFAC Chara). One because, Skeleton Chara. Very cool. And secondly because well, you have to admit a Chara in the role of Frisk (often times a nicer, sweeter Chara) meeting a Chara from a classic variant (to the Swap Chara, it’d be like meeting a version of themselves that acts like their Frisk, however the audience actually knows that the Swap Chara is the one who acts differently from the standard of the Classic Chara) would be interesting. Anyways, I’m rambling.
Also even in Ish Chara likely won’t ever meet AFAC skele Chara (she likely won’t even meet a skele Frisk), it would be interesting if or when she did. Ish Chara might have been to some different AUs, however she’s never meet a skeleton version of themself or Frisk. I can’t wait for Ish Chara and the rest of the DF kids to meet ACAF Chara and the rest of the ACAF crew. Sometimes I imagine a few possibilities of how it could go when I let my mind wander.
Anyways, sorry for the long answer. I’m just really excited. Yee.

I wanna talk about my characters,
So I’m gonna,
So I have this story called ‘We Worship Not Your Faux Gods’ it’s kinda based in Minecraft but that’s just cause I like mob hybrid characters, and it has somewhere between 3 and 7 main characters, it’s kinda in order of when they come into the story.
So the first two are Aniela and Micah, they’re the faux gods that will not be worshipped by those around them. They are both trans, because I say so. Micah was afab, technically afac (assigned female at creation) cause he wasn’t really born, and Aniela was amac. Both of them were deemed failures by their creators, Micah came first and it took about three years for them to deem him a failure and take their second attempt, Aniela. Micah is an ender hybrid, and Aniela is mostly elytran. They were raised together and after like, 15-19 years Aniela is like,
“(Micah’s deadname ((I’m not choosing deadnames for them))) I wanna leave, but they said we’d die” and Micah went
“Yeah same, but like, that’s almost definitely a lie” and they fucking dip, and they make a little house in a like, I think a giant tree taiga biome. They both transition fully using their powers, and then meet a few people. The first was a Mooshroom hybrid, Bea, she doesn’t much like Micah but her and Aniela get into a romantic relationship after pining for like three years. Then comes Vala, a fox/ender hybrid, and Cumulus, a lop bunny who was imbued with the energy of the weather, and Seraphim, a blaze hybrid who’s actually Aniela’s identical twin, they were other experiments who Micah and Aniela saved from the lab when they came to destroy it.
And then all of them spend time together growing past their childhood and it’s found family and I think they’re all great and I love them.
I’m gonna draw them together soon but I love them so much.

Excuse me I'm trying to make an ask me blog but it is not going anywhere. Do you have any advice?
First and foremost, you have to enjoy the thing you are trying to do. If you're not having fun, then what's the point?
As long as you enjoy it, that will help you get through the times when things are slow.
Ask blogs in particular are hard because they are dependent on being popular enough to get asks. It might help if you just start writing/drawing story bits. Help your audience get to know the characters, even if no one is asking about them. Perhaps get friends to send asks if you need something to get the ball rolling.
Honestly, I'm not an expert. If you wanted advice from the creator of AFAC, the one you are looking for is Trash Queen, not me. I do have my own ask comic Staying Under, but that's just a baby itself. I'm lucky enough to already have a good amount of followers and I get a handful of asks.
I guess my advice is: keep creating, but do it for yourself. If it sparks joy, keep doing it, but if it is draining you, stop. It doesn't matter how long it takes either. Go at your own pace. A lot of people just get happy when you update, no matter when. However, consistency is also helpful. It gives people hope, and something to look forward to.
Dont make an ask blog hoping to get popular. Do it because it's the best way to tell your story. With love and care and no small amount of luck, others will enjoy your story too.

Okay, what exactly IS Spamton, since you've made him canon to AFAC
He’s a monster. A corporeal ghost inhabiting a body that was once a ventriloquist dummy. Or perhaps a storefront mannequin. He changes his story each time he tells it. He got recruited into a pyramid scheme at one point, and when the pyramid toppled, he was left without a gold to his name. He lived in a dumpster for a while. Then the barrier came down. Now he’s an “influencer” who has sort of unintentionally become a bit of a meme because of his erratic speech patterns and being put in a lot of cringe compilations. He is simultaneously got a bunch of weird haters, actual fans, and people who just see him as a lol cow. He is happy to have all of these, as they all drive up the ad revenue. These days he lives in a modest apartment with his roommate Jevil and is fairly happy with his lot in life.

Asriel: Ok, Chara, tell them what you're going to do! Hee hee hee!
Chara: The plan is to make several people feel very uncomfortable by eating heaping spoonfuls of vanilla pudding out of this mayonnaise jar.
Asriel: Eee hee hee! Golly, Chara! You're sooo evil!!
Chara: I know!! Papyrus will rue the day he gave me white "chocolate" disguised as real chocolate!!
///
Happy April fool's!
That ask from AFAC earlier gave me an idea and then I realized what day it was and I had to do it!
Consider this like a little "story time."

Promoting SWANA and Arab Independent Cinema: Shasha Movies and Aflamuna
In the last two years new initiatives have emerged to showcase South-West Asian and North African (SWANA) Cinema internationally such as streaming platforms Shasha Movies and Aflamuna.
Tumblr media
Shasha Movies is an independent streaming service for SWANA Cinema. It is one of the projects led by Assyrian Iraqi-Irish film curator and programmer Róisín Tapponi, founder of the Habibi Collective platform. Shasha Movies offers carefully curated programmes every two months showcasing the works of independent filmmakers of the SWANA region. Those programmes are eclectic and amongst the films you can currently watch on the platform is the 2011 documentary My Name is not Ali by Viola Shafik. Through the use of archive material and interviews, Shafik’s uncovers the story behind German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder anti-racist film Ali: Fear Eats the Soul. This 1973 movie by Fassbinder was groundbreaking in exposing West German post-war racism. In her documentary, My Name is not Ali, the director focuses on El Hedi ben Salem who starred as the lead role in the movie and was also Fassbinder’s lover at the time. By telling Ben Salem’s story, Shafik shows the insensibility and orientalist ways of Fassbinder and his crew towards the actor. Yet, Shasha Movies does not only feature documentary or film archives but also contemporary works of fiction. You can currently watch on demand Memory Box, a 2022 drama directed by Lebanese duo Hadjithomas & Joreige, for an additional £4.99. Unfortunately this offer is only available in the UK.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aflamuna (أفلامنا) means “Our Films'' in Arabic. It is also the name of a nonprofit streaming platform made by Beirut DC, an organisation that was founded over 20 years ago and is now an internationally established organisation empowering filmmakers from every corner of the Arab world. Its streaming platform Aflamuna was launched 2 years ago with the aim of honouring Arab Cinema by increasing access to the best productions of Independent Arab Cinema. Every month, viewers have access for free to a new programme of films made by Arab Independent filmmakers. The films are hand-picked by a different curator every month, and include both fiction and documentary.  Currently showing are a series of 15 films that were funded by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) in the last 15 years, to celebrate AFAC’s 15 years anniversary. The curator of this selection, Mohamed Soueid, says he has chosen films that were less noticed when they first came out and that he deems worthy of attention by the general public. Amongst this selection you can find Waves’ 98, a short animated movie directed by Ely Dagher, a film focusing on late 1990s youth in Beirut. Ely Dagher’s film was awarded the Short Film Palme d’Or at 2015 Cannes Film Festival. Waves’ 98 is available to stream until this Wednesday 11 p.m.. Available next week is a 2016 documentary Tadmor, sharing the testimonies of a group of former Lebanese detainees about their time spent in one of Assad regime’s most dreadful prisons: Tadmor (Palmyra). Partners of the Aflamuna project include institutions such as the AFAC but also foundations such as the Sundance Institute or the Eye Film Museum in the Netherlands.
Tumblr media
Aflamuna and Shasha movies are platforms that allow viewers across the world that might not be familiar with the Arab and SWANA region film scene to discover the diversity of its independent cinema made by both emerging and classical filmmakers. It gives filmmakers of the region the opportunity to have their work seen around the world. Those platforms are also spaces for interrogating social, political, or cultural developments in the region through the lens of program curators.
You can watch Aflamuna programs for free on the platform website.
A subscription to Shasha movies is £9.99 monthly or £99.99 for the yearly subscription.

I was wondering about that.
So this is going to be long, I hope you don't mind.
One of the main issues that I saw in AFAC was mainly the overwhelming number of the cast. I see that the comic started with Frisk and the main characters from undertale, that was fine, more than fine, it was just enough. The introduction with some of the OCs was not bad, Frisk's siblings an example of that. Then it started to add more, and more, and more characters. Not counting side characters, there's over 20 recurrent characters in the comic, not counting side characters or all the OCs. Let that sink in, some of the characters introduced are never seen again in the comic, or forgotten. Undertale's cast is already huge, trying to add lots of OCs into the mix won't make the comic more engaging or easier to read. You need to keep up with more people, the author needs to keep up with more people. That would either cause the comic to drag on for too long trying to develop a character or just rush arcs and sequences, wasting the potential of said characters whether it's fanon or OC. This would be more tolerable in an original story, but OCs taking over the canon in a fanwork is really frown upon because you're taking away the character's spotlight..and..there's no point, it feels like these people have no porpuse. Like I remember one of the character's motivations to join an anti monster group was because their ex hooked up with a monster? like..what? No political issues behind it? like actual concerns from the human side? Like I dunno just throwing ideas out there, Monsters not integrating into society, or Humans feeling forced to give monsters land at the expense of their own land and money.  If it were to make the world richer sure, but there's a point where you need to go back to the original source material. If you need OCs so badly, make an original comic.
Chara and them as a CHARActer. From what I've seen, at first, Chara just seemed kinda bland to me. Just your typical evil Chara trying to ruin everyone's lives cause genocide run, which when they were introduced it was very common in a lot of fan stories to do so. So I didn't bother reading the comic because of it until after the crossover. That said, their change was really sudden. I was kinda expecting a little more of a gradual change? that's the idea that I got cause again, on paper it sounded great! I was really excited to see afac Chara change. I really was!
My problem with them being a skeleton, besides the fact that to me it doens't make a lot of sense for them to turn into a monster, the fact that Chara, a HUMAN, something that they HATE turns into a monster. We know very little about canon Chara, hell there isn't a canon Chara thats why there are so many interpretation, but there's one thing we all know: Chara hated humans. Being a human themselves, it's kind of easy to assume that Chara would hate themselves. Them turning into a monster means that no longer they need to bear the feeling of being human, the very thing that they hate. Why? they're a monster, why bother anymore? Not only that but again, it feels undeserved. I heard people say that Chara in the comic did very little to earn their redemption, I kinda of agree with that. At first they were shown as this evil being, not able to feel empathy, just one side of the coin, and suddenly you flip the other side with very little done about it. It felt unnatural, and them turning into a monster doesn't solve their problems with humanity. You could say"well maybe they stopped hating humans?", but even if that was the case, it feels rushed that suddenly they don't.  Sure they act more like a non evil Chara now, but the transition from A to B was faster than Anakin's shift to the dark side.
Frisk, I liked their Frisk at first. Until the part of their trauma came up, I don't know, as someone who was abused in the past, the scene of the pokemon cards just made me not take it seriously anymore. It also feels like you can never disagree with the kid, like ever. Frisk is always right, they are perfect.
Wall text- Show don't tell rule.  A lot of writers suffer from this a lot, it's a common mistake to give just exposition and no actual story, not actual events, or replace things that can be self explained by character's dialogue through personality and actions. So I'm not extending myself on this, it's pretty self explanatory. We all do it by mistake, the best we can do is learn from it and try not to do it as frequent as humanly possible.
Forced diversity, this is something that's been bugging me on a personal level. You do know that my Frisk and Chara are nonbinary, but guess what? Their personalities are not being nonbinary, or Asriel's personality being asexual. Nothing bothers me more than trying to shove to everybody's throat diversity just for the sake of it....especially when the comic gets preachy about it and makes all the fallen children non binary. Sure, getting your characters genders wrong is annoying, I know that on first hand and made jokes about it. But I am never coming off as the morality police educating about these kinds of stuff.
ESPECIALLY when you don't do your research when you try to diversify your cast and you say nonsense such as MEXICAN being a race. I give TQ kudos for giving the fallen children personality, but again we just go back to this thing again with the forced diversity, there's a major risk of falling into tokenism even. People are much more than their gender, their sexualities, their race, their etchnicity and so on. Yes, people like these exist, but don't make them the core part of who they are. The bisexual supposely non white woman from the third world is telling you this. Again, that's more of a subjective opinion and that goes to even ideological realms.
So yeah those are the things that come to the top of my head atm, I think most of the issues with the Comic is basically how big the cast is. You get less time to work on all these characters, characters get less development or too much development, dialogue is affected, and so on and so forth.

Alright, here we go.
because some people wanted it, I’m going to ramble about at least 11 of my 12 AUs {one’s just the fell version of another so not a large ramble there} in order of which I thought of them. {I also would prefer any questions about them to be sent to @the-lightest-shadow} ~Mod Feral
{My} Amalgamitetale
Excluding Asriel dying, the story to pre-Frisk is very similar. Up until Alphys tests the Determination, that is. Y’see, in this universe, the effects of Determination take a lot longer. So much so that Alphys was able to feel confidant in both letting the original subjects go and got to be part of the brainstorming that led monster to believe if every monster has Determination, maybe they can slip through the barrier.
By the time they knew the consequences, every monster that could arrive got injected with Determination. {Really, the only upside to this outcome was that there’s not an overpopulation problem anymore}. There were only 3 humans to fall between Chara and Frisk, but since the monsters don’t want to leave anymore because of their condition, they let the humans go.
Our main cast of the underground is Poltergust {mostly The Blook family}, Toxic Fuzz {mainly Toriel, Asriel, and flowers}, Bone Mass {Mostly Sans, Papyrus, and Gaster}, Double Scale {Mainly Alphys and Undyne} and Final King {Mainly Asgore. Smallest Amalgamite in size}
The AU has a lot of unnecessary atmosphere in my mind. I have shared the prototype designs a while ago here
Feraltale
My namesake and the main one I focus on. All monsters are a little more ‘monstrous’ in appearance, and a lot more instinct-based in actions. There’s a lot of little personality differences to everyone too that I’ll get more into in the comic I’m making for it. One big thing, however, is that some, like Flowey, have unexplainable abilities that they don’t actually have in the canon game.
There also were a lot of negative thoughts that humans have that have branched from the stories that became popular on the surface. Think you usual stories about monsters from before the internet, double there amount, and make a few worse.
The majority of this AU’s facts can be found both at @feral-tale-au and in the feraltale tag here
Feralfell
The fell version of Feraltale. Not too much different in main description besides, well, just that. It’s a more violent and, surprisingly, more dangerous world. I’d need to draw the designs for the characters for me to properly describe what’s different.
Pyrotale
To start off the explanation of this one, it’ll start with that it’s influenced by this song right here. I also think I’d have an easier time describing it via a pre-game story of sorts.
“Long ago, two races ruled the Earth: Humans and Monsters.
One day, war broke out between the two races. In the midst of the battle, someone discovered that monsters were more flammable than a normal creature, and the humans used that to their advantage.
Fires roaring, they managed to chase the remaining monsters underground and seal them with a powerful spell.
Many years later, the fires on the surface still burn on occasion. The world monsters once knew and that humans fought to have had changed...
Mount Ebott
Those who climb it haven’t ever returned.”
All of the fallen humans, even Chara and Frisk, had some sort of mask on to filter out the smoke and ash. In fact, it’s required children where such items on the surface. The in-game story and the monster designs are no different than with the canon for the most part. The differences come in both how you kill monsters in a Genocide route {catching them on fire and making the underground burn} and the fact you have two choices at the end of the Pure Pacifist route.
Nameless
The creative reason for the name of this AU is that “the story we are covering remains... Nameless” but the real reason, tbqh, is that I just called it my ‘Nameless AU’ so much that it stuck.
This AU runs off of the thought of “What if, for one reason or another, Frisk wasn’t the last fallen human. What if they never climbed Mount Ebott and some other child did?”
I decided that what would happen in that, without a human to show the monsters that humans can be good and caring and helpful, without a human that reminds Flowey of his conscious, when the monsters are finally freed, the planned war gets going.
It’s now 5 years after the monsters got out. Every now and then they still fight with the humans on a full-scale war. The area around Ebott has been labeled as monster country and humans avoid it when they can. Papyrus is overly emotional because his dream job isn’t what he thought, Toriel is running dangerously low on hope, and many others seem to have lost themselves.
One young adult decides to revisit their old home, despite the warnings.
Originally, I was going to have this a semi-ask blog AU, similar to AFAC, but I don’t have the energy for that.
Memorytale
This is a very simple, straightforward one to describe: “What if the ones who remember resets and the ones who didn’t flipped?”
Basically, and because of the logic this AU uses, Flowey, Frisk, and Sans don’t remember past timelines, but everyone else does. The problem? The last timeline was a Genocide one, but Frisk doesn’t remember that and is going Pacifist.
Envytale
Like with Pyrotale, this one was influenced by a song. This time it’s this song right here.
Humans who fell previously weren’t killed and just live in areas of the capital you don’t visit. Chara lived for a long time and ultimately died about 3 years before Frisk fell. Everyone grew very attached and fond of Chara and can’t help but compare Frisk to Chara.
Frisk first gets jealous, which evolves into envy, which then becomes violent rage.
This is a Genocide route only story idea that has the final boss be Asriel and not Sans, but you still fight Sans and he’s still extremely hard {just not as hard as in canon}
RWBYtale
I nice mix/crossover AU of RoosterTeeth’s RWBY and Undertale. It focuses more on a team {Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Toriel} than Frisk. Most of the main cast from Undertale that I have set to appear are Faunus, with the exceptions of Frisk, Sans, Papyrus, and Mettaton.
I mainly made this as a way to have fun thinking of weapons, outfits, and for Soriel reasons when it came to main focus, but Mod God kinda sorta started to co-own this one with me. ;;
Incomplete
This one’s title is this because “Incompletetale” just sounds weird to me and I don’t want to use a different word.
This is a Chara-focused AU based off of this song right here. After dying, Chara realizes no one can see them. They figure this has to do with the fact that their SOUL consists of two oddly sized shards. No one can see them, that is, until the second fallen child. The child saw Chara while dying and reached out. The second contact was made a strange pulse went through Chara and the child died, their Green SOUL leaving their body.
Except the SOUL was missing a shard, and the shard had been added to Chara’s.
Fast forward to Frisk falling, and Chara has forgotten who they are, because they hold the memories of the other fallen children. For Frisk and the monsters, nothing’s different for a Neutral Route. It’s the Pure Pacifist and Genocide Routes that are different. Including your final fight being a form of Chara.
For Pure Pacifist, you have The Ultimate Child Angel, a form of Chara as a result of all of the human SOUL shards reuniting with their SOULs, including the tiny, dust-sized ones of Charas that were found in the monsters. Frisk’s goal, remind Chara of who they are, allowing them to free the underground.
For Genocide, however, you have to deal with True Demon Chara, a Chara that’s the result of monster dust and SOUL fragments filling the last of their missing pieces. They remember who they are right as Frisk kills Sans, and they aren’t going to let them go through with their plan of annihilation.
Legend of Eclopp
What started out as a design only thing of me using this pony generator to make pony versions of Undertale characters became an AU.
I have a full outline in my head, but ultimately it’s just rewriting the official Undertale story to work with the MLP universe. I wish I could say more but there’s not a lot to say on this one unprovoked.
I do have the designs shared over here, though.
Stories After the Dust
This is the most WIP-y of the bunch, but it’s going to be a fanfic style AU where I take the concept of Ghost Whisperer and make it into a multi-AU story with Undertale.
Frisk is able to talk to the dead, and works very, very hard to help them. Being one of the only people who can see monster’s spirits, they get a lot of those instead of humans.
In my mind I only have the Fell one thought out completely. I’ll be able to do the other 3 {Swap, Classic, and Swapfell} after I decide who I want dead in them.
Undersight
When I first was working on this, I just wanted designs. Designs that came to me while I was listening to creepypasta or other horrors. It went from a design only one to a full AU.
Monsters have always had a rough time getting along with humans, but this is because, for some reason, monsters can only interact with humans normal if either A), they have enough humans that try to befriend them B), they have a human SOUL or C), they’re a child. The way they must interact may change with circumstance, but it’s rare when they can break that without filling the above requirements.
However, when the sealing underground happened, one of the wizards actually had a close connection with monster-kind, and, instead of using their power to put the final bit of strength to the barrier, they made a second barrier around the area of Mount Ebott. Monsters could now slip into the main area around Ebott, but not leave that. In fact, nothing could leave that area; only barrier A {the one sealing monsters in the underground for the most part} could be broken. When it breaks, so does barrier B.
Not any human SOUL can break the barrier, however. Only bright, powerful, single-colored SOULs can. These are rare. On top of that, the barriers make it to where monsters are even more limited in how to interact with humans.
When a human climbs Mount Ebott and falls underground, almost every monster goes rushing in and, depending on where the human is and what the monster’s interaction limits are, try to get the human to show their SOUL, and then decide what to do after. Some kill the humans, and some expose them to so much magic that, because they have the weaker SOUL type for humans, causes their SOUL to change shape and turn the human into a monster.
I have the designs for almost everyone made as well as a vague-a poem for this that I haven’t shared anywhere yet. Very Creepypasta-esque in atmosphere and storytelling hopefully.
There we go. That’s all of them for the time being. I hope you all enjoyed and, like I said before, please send any questions involving these AUs to @the-lightest-shadow or, if it’s Feraltale/Feralfell related, to @feral-tale-au. Thanks for reading! ~Mod Feral signing off again just in case

xxtc-96xx replied to your post: One thing that will perpetually get my goat and...
basically I only have it set on my own story, I don’t try and push it on others, only when they try to force gender or ships or whatever on me is when I push back
That is understandable, and one of the things I mentioned that I greatly dislike. When people come into someone else’s interpretation and try and force their own head canons onto the artist/content creator. I’ve seen it happen many times on not only your comic, but other comics and ask blogs as well. AFAC has this problem tremendously, and I feel sorry for the mods of the blog to have to deal with it.
People are very much entitled to their head canons and interpretations of the character. You have your own set of interpretations, and I respect you greatly for not letting them influence how you act or how you interact with others works.

I've been meaning to ask this for a while now. What got you the idea to even start this comic? Was it inspiration from AFAC or something else?
Ooh ho boy! Uumm... Well I’ve had Undertale-ish as a world for a while, really just started as a few of my headcanons which spiraled and snowballed. As for the actually ask blog... Yeah. Likely it was in part Ask Frisk and Company. However also other blogs and comics too. Up until then I was just roleplaying with my girlfriend to develop the world, taking inspiration from random comics I saw as I went. I think I had always wanted to share the story of the universe to others though.
I had actually tried a few times to get an ask blog off the ground on Amino. Had a few ask chats, and eventually, after starting off hiring people to draw my ask blog dreams, I was finally able to get it off the ground. Originally I had recruited someone from Amino to help me draw AtDFF, however I saw that wasn’t working out and ended up just drawing it myself. Even if I didn’t have much confidence in myself or my art skills, in the end it turned out good! I’ve now been drawing this comic for over 2 years and you can really see my improvement if you go and look back on the OG early updates of the blog. Or anything past update 5, I still need to keep revamping for formatting purposes.
I would definitely say that AFAC has been a huge inspiration for my blog, however not the only one. TQ has been an amazing inspiration and motivator to me and my work, and one day I hope I can repay her in a way.
