Oc-tober Day 3 - OLD OC

I decided to draw a very old chara of mine, she was created to live in the BLEACH universe.

Onahana Vanari. First time I ever drew her was during 2012, so it's been 11 years since I last saw her.

A few things before I give you more info on my girl:

I had to redesing her cause not only her old one was so cringe to me, but also her story was a lacking.

I changed stuff about her, like her age and personality just a bit.

Most of her story wasn't even written at the time, my dumb ass thought my brain could storage her whole story no problem, so the things I mention is bits and pieces of what I can remember

And that all, so lets go: Onahana Vanari

She looks like she is in her 20's, but she might be a bit over 100 years old.

A shinigami, Captain to a special reconnaissance team.

She is a Vizard, she was the first one to be turned into one.

She is very shy and quiet. Easy to flustered and slow with suggestive comments or adult jokes. Even dumb dad jokes, she is very slow with those too.

Her specialty is hand to hand combat, she was once part of the 2nd squadron, but got move to a lower number one.

After she gets dropped on earth, she really enjoys her time there and doesnt want to go back to the seretei.

Her zanpaktou powers had something to do with lightning and storms

She gets sick very easily, and specially after using her bankai

And I think that's all i can remember about her unfortunately. I was debating to go back and rework her but im no longer so invested in the anime to do it so she will stay like this and only serve to be draw as the badass that she is.

The result when you call Disney Heroes-Battle Mode, Disneymon. As most of you probably know(or not), out of the top 5 Heroes I use in-game, Darkwing Duck is my true main in ze game itself.

(And I’m getting used to Storm’s Prostheic Arm Design. The cape’s extra, I guess.)

Age of Sigmar - A bunch of things

Actually quite a bit happened over last week I want to splurge about:

(1) I got the Champions of Order supplement for Soulbound. Some interesting developments there concerning the Lumineth. Teclis is credited as the main architect of the Soulbinding process, Sigmar came to Teclis with the idea and then he created the ritual. Champions of Order also introduces the concept that, depending which deity of the Pantheon is doing it, the Soulbindings can differ. For example; it’s noted that Teclis’ Soulbindings are of the highest quality, being the original creator of it, but that he’s largely lost interest in the practise and does it rarely. Sigmar is noted to be very much a ‘by rote’ kind of guy, this means that he is effecient and can make many quickly, but he is inflexible and so often doesn’t care or take account for the harm Soulbindings will do to the Soulbound themselves. It was interesting stuff, honestly.

(2) The Hedonites and Daughters of Khaine got their new Battletomes and both were a treat! The Hedonite one did a really nice job expanding on Slaanesh, beyond the usual ‘meme sex’, it has an entire segment discussing the ‘six circles’ of excess, including things like greed and gluttony, really shifting the angle much more to the excess concept which I like. Indeed; it feels like in AoS the Realms of Chaos themselves get a lot more fleshed out and nuanced than in 40k. On the DoK front Morathi continues to absolutely kick ass. When we left her at the end of Broken Realms she had seized one of the main Cities of Sigmar for herself, defeated it’s forces, and tried to keep this quiet. In DoK Battletome the secret is out and Sigmar launches a massive attack to try to take the city back. At first it goes well but then the Stormcast fall into Morathi’s trap. Idoneth allies surround them from behind, then she and her elite forces storm into their front and they are on the verge of utter defeat when the celestant prime appears and asks for Parley. Morathi and the Celestant Prime meet and when they’re done the Celestant Prime orders the Stormcast to all withdraw and abandon the city to Morathi. Morathi just freaking took one of Sigmar’s major cities and kept it! Even from a direct counter-attack! Good f**k I literally cannot imagine 40k letting Xenos take a major planet and keep it from a Space Marine counter-attack in a million years. This is...wow. Honestly Morathi is doing amazing and AoS lore just gives me so much more to be optimistic about.

(3) Yesterday’s preview. Wow! That was...amazing. Obviously, for me, the Lumineth reinforcements are a highlight. I particularly love the new special character alternate-build of the mounted Vanari war leader. I also enjoy the blend of different aesthetic sensibilities, from Grecian to Chinese, among the Lumineth, gives them a really unique flavour. Very, very amped to see this release. Furthermore, Cursed City simply looks...amazing. No other way to put it, it looks truly magnificent.

She calls them the Storm Squad, and there is another one coming in the future. Storm says that she is currently upgrading the secondary team’s skills and levels, and they’ll zap in soon.

Storm Vanari is also set to appear in the upcoming Cyber Attack story as part of a Guild Rivalry mini arc.

Stress Storm

A vent fic to portray my current situation(which hopefully it will simmer down cause, obviously I’m taking a strenuous English class). Storm Vanari is my Disney Heroes-Battle Mode OC and the educational university assignment system is completely wrong. No, I’m actually in my senior year at high school, and my OC’s a university student.

In the outskirts of the City, an electric-blue figure stroller through the rain-damped sidewalks near stores who flashed neon colors in the figure’s light-blue eyes. The figure is Storm Vanari, district champion of New Neo Line and current City University student. She is also the leader of the upgraded Clan Artmaggedon, a group formed by her childhood friend, Drew Tahueon. Ever since his death, Storm has been completely silent and avoided conversations that dealt with art or friends. Worse, she rarely made friends and locked her gates of welcoming newcomers to her friend circle. Ever since Cy-Gon’s reign ended, and making new friends along the way, Storm felt a wave of recover. However, when returning to City University, the wave began to disappear: Storm was met with a tower of papers that elevated up to 10 ft., and she was unsure on how to finish the majority of these for 2 weeks. Storm once complained to herself on why she never took a break, yet spilling it out to her professors would characterize her as a weakling.

The do’s accelerated her anxiety further as she began to pace and the sounds of the City grew mute. Thunder crashed in the skies of the City as Storm grumbled and her walking pace increased. Her face flushed in fire, as electricity sparkles around her. People that were near her scooted quickly away from her, as the noise of the Cuty eventually grew quiet. Now sprinting, she skidded to a small alleyway and entered into a small and dark area of the City. Trash were littered everywhere and a club stood abandoned. Struggling to take a breather, Storm stumbles to a wall outside of the club and leaned there. Her breathing grew steady, as electricity disappeared around her. Her face, now transformed into a gloomy blue, now wet with tears. Sliding herself down to the ground, she huddled herself and reflected on those certains days she vented on. It felt awkward for her to ground herself in despair, even though she told herself to keep going and receiving consolation from those who offer therapy. She tries to calm her stressing anxiety down and come up with a mind agenda to relieve the stress that thunders in her mind. The due dates of Storm’s assignments swirled in her head, as she receives a minor headache. Once again, her face bloomed a blood red as she stood up and punched the club’s window. The glass shattered and clattered below her, as Storm paused. She looked at her fist to see red dashes on her knuckles, knowing that the glass scrapped it. The blood began to ooze out as she sheltered her knuckle with her other hand.

It’s a good thing that this club is long abandoned. Otherwise, I’d get beaten into a pulp.

A drop of water on Storm’s snout notified her of rain about to pour down into the City. It began lightly, and then pattered down hard onto the ground a few minutes later. Putting her hood on, Storm hung her head down and walked away from the area. However, she wondered: when is there a time I could take a break from this crap?

Her joy drifted off into the darkness.

The majority of Battle Mode players wanted Mulan as a new hero(especially for May, since it’s Asian Heritage Month). Storm Vanari approves.
